The article presents management science research on dynamic capabilities, which are defined as the ability of an organization can create, expand or extend its resources. The managerial processes by which such capacity is integrated into strategic planning are examined. A review of case studies of this issue are said to have found core drivers among those processes, which are knowledge transfers and links within the organization, managerial ability and simple rules for organizing the managerial process.
