A metal‐free and mild cascade reaction of acryloylbenzamides with carboxylic acids and α‐imino oxy acid is developed. It undergoes decarboxylation, radical addition, and intramolecular cyclization in the presence of visible light, providing 4‐substituted‐isoquinoline‐1,3(2H,4H)‐diones in moderate to good yields. An efficient visible-light-mediated tandem reaction of acryl-oylbenzamides with alkylboronic acids, arylsulfonyl hydrazides and oxime esters has been developed. The reaction proceeds via radical addition and cyclization to give various isoquinoline-1,3(2 H ,4 H)-diones in satisfactory yields under mild conditions, which provides a good opportunity to discover new meaningful bioactive compounds.
