Esta dissertação foi desenvolvida no âmbito do Programa de Pós-graduação em Sociologia da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais da Universidade Federal de Goiás (PPGS/UFG), na linha de pesquisa “Trabalho, formação e Representações Culturais”. Seu objetivo principal é analisar o trabalho docente em colégios da Polícia Militar no Estado de Goiás e os objetivos específicos são, apreender a subjetividade dos(as) agentes que estão inseridos nesta forma de campo e sua representatividade nos colégios da polícia militar; identificar as condições da formação de um campo e de um habitus militar dentro das unidades escolares denominadas CPMG –Colégio da Polícia Militar de Goiás; caracterizar as condições e as formasde organização e contratação de trabalho nos CPMG; analisar a mudança profissional e comportamental para trabalhadores/as que passam a vivenciar uma forma de educação militar tendo trabalho na educação cível; compreender como acontece o trabalho dentro deum campo, o da educação militar no Estado de Goiás e de construção de um habitus correspondente. A metodologia empregada envolveu pesquisa bibliográfica, análise quantitativa de bases de dados governamentais (INEP) e de survey elaborado e análise qualitativa de entrevistas semiestruturadas com docentes dos colégios selecionados). O processo de militarização de parte das escolas no Estado de Goiás teve seu início em meados dos anos de 1999 a 2000, gerando assim um campo escolar específico a partir de uma gestão tipicamente militar. Este estudo deixa como benefício um levantamento bibliográfico sobre a teoria de campo e habitusem Pierre Bourdieu, além de um levantamento e compilação de dados atualizados sobre as escolas de gerência militar; aspectos relevantes sobre a forma de trabalho e subjetividade dos agentes (professores) dentro deste campo de trabalho. This dissertation was developed within the scope of the Postgraduate Program in Sociology of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Federal University of Goiás (PPGS/UFG), in the line of research “Work, formation and Cultural Representations”. Its main objective is to analyze the teaching work in military policy colleges in the State of Goiás and the specific objectives are to apprehend the subjectivity of the agents who are inserted in this form of field and their representation in the military police colleges.; to identify the conditions for the formation of a field and a military habitus within the school units called CPMG –Colégio da Polícia Militar de Goiás; to characterize the conditions and forms of organization and contracting of work in the CPMG; to analyze the professional and behavioral change for workers who start to experience a form of military education having work in civil education; understand how work happens within a field, that of military education in the State of Goiás and the construction of a corresponding habitus. The methodology used involved bibliographic research, quantitative analysis of governmental databases (INEP) and of an elaborated survey and qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with teachers from the selected schools). The process of militarization of part of the schools in the State of Goiás began in the middle of the years 1999 to 2000, thus generating a specific school field from a typically military management. This study leaves as a benefit a bibliographic survey on field theory and habitus in Pierre Bourdieu, as well as a survey and compilation of updated data on schools of military management; relevant aspects about the way of working and subjectivity of agents (teachers) within this field of work.

A proposta deste estudo consiste em uma pesquisa acerca do trabalho e das funções das (os) Auxiliares de Atividades Educativas (AAE) nos Centros Municipais de Educação Infantil (CMEIs) da cidade de Goiânia, procurando articular temas como o cuidar e o educar, questões de gênero, trabalho e educação. A proposta se ocupa em situar os afazeres dessas (es) profissionais dentro das CMEIs e suas relações de trabalho, trazendo à tona os reflexos da divisão sexual do trabalho nas atividades no seu espaço de produção e reprodução. O objetivo é analisar sociologicamente o trabalho, a identidade e as relações de gênero de Auxiliares de Atividades Educativas no cuidar e educar de crianças nas instituições de educação infantil do município de Goiânia. Busca-se responder a questões sobre os conflitos vividos no cotidiano profissional, sob condições de trabalho precarizado; o conceito de cuidar na educação infantil e sua relação com a divisão sexual do trabalho; como o educar e o cuidar se relacionam entre professoras (es) e Auxiliares de Atividades Educativas. Como caminho metodológico privilegia-se uma perspectiva qualitativa, com a realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas com trabalhadoras (es) Auxiliares de Atividades Educativas, além de levantamento de dados estatísticos da Secretaria Municipal de Educação da prefeitura de Goiânia. O número de entrevistados somou dez profissionais AAEs, sendo apenas dois do sexo masculino, as condições de trabalho são muito similares, trabalham seis horas diárias e percebe-se que há pouca diferença ao se considerar a renda individual, todas(os) se encontram acima do nível de estudo determinado em lei para ocupação do cargo, oito entrevistadas(os) possuem nível superior completo e os outros dois possuem nível superior incompleto, sendo que alguns apresentam ainda pós-graduação em alguma área da educação. Observa-se nas falas o destaque dado à responsabilidade profissional no exercício de sua função, haja vista que possuem o reconhecimento de sua relevância. The purpose of this study consists of a research on the work and functions of (the) Educational Activities Assistants (AAE) in the Municipal Centers for Early Childhood Education (CMEIs) in the city of Goiânia, seeking to articulate themes such as caring and educating, issues of gender, work and education. The proposal is concerned with placing the tasks of these professionals within the CMEIs and their working relationships, bringing to light the reflexes of the sexual division of labor in the activities in their space of production and reproduction. The objective is to sociologically analyze the work, identity and gender relations of Educational Activities Assistants in the care and education of children in early childhood education institutions in the city of Goiânia. It seeks to answer questions about the conflicts experienced in the professional routine, under precarious working conditions; the concept of caring in early childhood education and its relationship with the sexual division of labor; how educating and caring are related between teachers (es) and Educational Activities Assistants. As a methodological approach, a qualitative perspective is privileged, with the realization of semi-structured interviews with workers (es) Assistants of Educational Activities, in addition to the collection of statistical data from the Municipal Department of Education of the city of Goiânia. The number of interviewees added up to ten AAE professionals, only two of whom are male, Working conditions are very similar, they work six hours a day and it is noticed that there is little difference when considering individual income, all of them are above the level of study determined by law for the occupation of the position. Eight interviewees have complete higher education and the other two have incomplete higher education, and some also have postgraduate degrees in some area of education. It is observed in the speeches the emphasis given to professional responsibility in the exercise of their function, given that they have the recognition of their relevance.

Com o processo de expansão do setor de serviços, ocorre um importante crescimento no âmbito dos denominados serviços pessoais, que são aqueles voltados ao atendimento de uma demanda individual, que requerem ou não uma interação direta com a clientela. Fazem parte desse contexto ocupações ligadas ao ramo de restauração, segmento que a partir de uma trajetória de amplo desenvolvimento passa a abrigar um importante contingente de mão de obra, a exemplo de cozinheiros e cozinheiras, churrasqueiros/as, garçons e garçonetes. O objetivo da pesquisa é investigar o trabalho desses trabalhadores e trabalhadoras, no âmbito de estabelecimentos especializados em servir carne, denominados churrascarias e steak houses, localizados na cidade de Goiânia, Goiás. A partir de uma abordagem que privilegia a sociologia do trabalho em serviços, investiga-se aspectos ligados ao desenvolvimento da atividade laboral, sua organização e dinâmicas que marcam as interações entre trabalhadores/as, trabalhadores/as e clientes, no cotidiano das ocupações. A metodologia utilizada preconiza uma triangulação de fontes de dados, com ênfase em abordagem qualitativa. A pesquisa evidencia o trabalho orientado em função da satisfação do/a cliente, o que requer flexibilidade, trabalho em equipe, conhecimento prático e elementos subjetivos, a exemplo do trabalho emocional e estético, centrais nas interações que marcam o cotidiano das referidas atividades. With the process of expansion of the service sector, there is an important growth in the scope of the so-called personal services, which are those aimed at meeting an individual demand, which require or not a direct interaction with the clientele. Part of this context are occupations linked to the restaurant business, a segment that, after a trajectory of broad development, has started to house an important contingent of labor, such as cooks and cooks, barbecue chefs, waiters and waitresses. The objective of the research is to investigate the work of these workers, in the scope of establishments specialized in serving meat, called churrascarias and steak houses, located in the city of Goiânia, Goiás. From an approach that privileges the sociology of work in services, aspects related to the development of work activity, its organization and dynamics that mark the interactions between workers, workers and clients, in the daily life of occupations, are investigated. The methodology used advocates a triangulation of data sources, with emphasis on a qualitative approach. The research evidences work oriented towards client satisfaction, which requires flexibility, teamwork, practical knowledge and subjective elements, such as emotional and aesthetic work, central to the interactions that mark the daily life of these activities. In this sense, it argues that, despite the existence of signs that indicate openness to diversity in Foz do Iguaçu, the transgender approach still makes it difficult for trans people to have access to work in the city. The study is justified by the theoretical gap found in state-of-the-art research carried out at the CAPES Theses and Dissertations Bank and the demand of the trans community itself for effective access to work. To do so, it uses the life story method and semi-structured interviews in order to achieve the specific objectives of going into the field to know the professional trajectories of trans people, the greatest difficulties they face in the work environment and if the border context of Foz do Iguaçu influences their professional lives. Thanks to the interest in producing knowledge attentive to subjectivity and social dynamism, the content of the interviews is analyzed based on the formist phenomology (MAFFESOLI, 1998). Furthermore, it is supported by Butler (2000; 2004; 2013) and Bento (2006; 2017) to discuss gender, in the conception of work by Antunes (2003; 2020a; 2020b), in studies by Duque (2017a) in order to discuss the dialogue between sexuality, gender and border, as well as in the research by Hartmann (2017) when discussing transsexuality and work. Thus, this thesis begins by presenting the existing conflicts within the discussions on transsexuality, in society and academia, demonstrating the relevance of research that relates transsexuality and work and commenting on some productions that make this intersection. Therefore, it delves into the theoretical frameworks that discuss transgenderism within the human sciences to then present the formalist phenomenology, life history and explain the topics that make up the script that guided the interviews. Finally, it describes the entry into the field, synthesizing the life stories examined and analyzing their content with an emphasis on professional and gender issues. Based on its results, this proposal points out some problematic aspects of the professional insertion of trans people in Foz do Iguaçu, their perception in relation to work in the other cities that make up the Triple Border, in addition to indicating other issues that influence their life trajectories. of the subjects. Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo geral problematizar como ocorre a inserção profissional de pessoas transgêneras em Foz do Iguaçu. Nesse sentido, argumenta-se que, apesar da existência de indícios que sinalizam abertura à diversidade em Foz do Iguaçu, o recorte da transgeneridade ainda dificulta o acesso ao trabalho de pessoas trans na cidade. O estudo se justifica na lacuna teórica constatada em pesquisa estado da arte, realizada no Banco de Teses e Dissertações da CAPES e na demanda da própria comunidade trans por efetivo acesso ao trabalho. Para tanto, recorreu-se ao método história de vida e às entrevistas semiestruturadas, a fim de caminhar para os objetivos específicos: ir a campo para conhecer as trajetórias profissionais de pessoas trans; identificar quais as maiores dificuldades que enfrentam no ambiente laboral; e verificar se o contexto fronteiriço de Foz do Iguaçu influencia em suas vidas profissionais. Graças ao interesse em produzir um saber atento à subjetividade e dinamismo social, o teor das entrevistas é analisado com base na fenomologia formista (MAFFESOLI, 1998). Ademais, ampara-se em Butler (2000; 2004; 2013) e Bento (2006; 2017) para discutir gênero, na concepção de trabalho de Antunes (2003; 2020a; 2020b), nos estudos de Duque (2017a), a fim de discutir o diálogo entre sexualidade, gênero e fronteira, bem como na pesquisa de Hartmann (2017) ao discutir transexualidade e trabalho. Assim, esta tese inicia-se apresentando os embates existentes dentro das discussões sobre transexualidade na sociedade e na academia, demonstrando a relevância de pesquisas que relacionam transgeneridade e trabalho e comentando algumas produções que fazem essa interseção. Em seguida, aprofunda-se nos referenciais teóricos que discutem transgeneridade dentro das ciências humanas para, então, apresentar a fenomenologia formista, a história de vida e explicar os tópicos que compõem o roteiro que orientou as entrevistas. Por fim, descreve-se a entrada em campo, sintetizando as histórias de vida perscrutadas e analisando seu teor com ênfase nas questões profissionais e de gênero. A partir de seus resultados, esta proposta aponta alguns aspectos problemáticos da inserção profissional de pessoas trans em Foz do Iguaçu, no que se refere à percepção destas em relação ao trabalho nas outras cidades que compõem a Tríplice Fronteira, além de indicar outras questões que influem nas trajetórias de vida dos sujeitos.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES This paper aims to analyze the development of the activities of digital influencers, as an immediate reflection of the moment of transformation in which our society lives and the way we think about work, with the evolution of the paradigm of the discipline society to the performance society, which focuses on the individual, consumption and commercialization of the self. Lacking a regulation that accompanies the development of their activities, the empirical object of this analysis seeks to understand how digital influencers understand the work they do and if they organize collectively to build a legal framework for the protection of their activities. For data collection, we used observation, documentary and video analysis, literature review on the theme, and interviews with actors who perform their activities in cyberspaces. We also used the methodology developed by Gabriel Tarde, aiming to understand how the engagement used by Digital Influencers to mobilize their followers takes place, and how this process of forming an audience originates in order to establish its theoretical basis, in addition to content analysis, which allowed us to conduct an in-depth research about mass communication messages. We have tried to investigate, therefore, the nature of the activities carried out by these actors in order to identify the elements of coalition among them and, thus, identify subsidies that can articulate their struggles for the regulation and recognition of this new modality of work. Thus, we are faced with a reality marked by contradictions. The result that we obtained from the research confirms the hypothesis raised, in the sense that the Law, as a cultural product, is really ineffective in keeping up with the new work relations that are being built in the social conjuncture. However, for the legislation to advance in the protection of these agents, it will be necessary not only to understand the nature of the activities performed by these actors, but it will also be necessary to deconstruct this identity created by the new spirit of capitalism that strongly radiates in the networks, making them see their profession as something totally disconnected from the pre-existing legal apparatuses. Este trabalho visa analisar o desenvolvimento das atividades dos influenciadores digitais, como um reflexo imediato do momento de transformação em que vive nossa sociedade e da forma como pensamos o trabalho, com a evolução do paradigma da sociedade da disciplina para a sociedade do desempenho, que foca no indivíduo, consumo e comercialização do próprio Eu. Desprovidos de uma regulação que acompanhe o desenvolvimento de suas atividades, o objeto empírico desta análise busca compreender como os influenciadores digitais entendem o trabalho que exercem e se estes se organizam coletivamente para construir um marco legal para a proteção de suas atividades. Para coleta de dados, foi feito o uso da observação, análise documental e de vídeos, revisão de literatura sobre o tema, além da entrevista de atores que executam suas atividades nos ciberespaços. Utilizamos também a metodologia desenvolvida por Gabriel Tarde, visando compreender como se realiza o engajamento utilizado pelos Influenciadores Digitais para mobilizar seus seguidores e como esse processo de formação de um público se origina para estabelecer suas bases teóricas, além da análise de conteúdo que nos permitiu uma pesquisa aprofundada acerca das mensagens de comunicação de massa. Buscamos averiguar, portanto, a natureza das atividades exercidas por esses atores para sinalizar os elementos de coalisão entre eles e, assim, identificar subsídios que possam articular suas lutas pela regulamentação e reconhecimento dessa nova modalidade de trabalho. Assim nos deparamos com uma realidade marcada por contradições. O resultado que obtivemos da pesquisa confirma a hipótese levantada, no sentido de que o Direito, como um produto cultural, se mostra realmente ineficaz em acompanhar as novas relações de trabalho que se constroem na conjuntura social. Contudo, para que a legislação avance na proteção desses agentes, se fará necessário não apenas compreender a natureza das atividades exercidas por esses atores, mas também será preciso desconstruir essa identidade criada pelo novo espírito do capitalismo que fortemente se irradia nas redes, fazendo-os enxergar sua profissão como algo totalmente desconectado dos aparatos legais preexistentes. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES This study aims to analyze the contributions of the professional training of young graduates in the Learning Programs of the National Service for Professional Learning (Senac) in Sergipe, from the Professional Training Center of Aracaju (CFP-Aju), to verify the contributions of training for insertion in the labor market. We have specific objectives: to contextualize Senac's professional education on the national scene and in Aracaju-SE, reflecting on training from the perspective of young graduates and learning instructors; investigate whether professional training in the Senac / SE Learning Programs contributed to the insertion of young people into the labor market; investigate how these work and educational trajectories after leaving the programs; their projects for the field of work and education. Starting from the research problem, what did this training actually contribute to the insertion of young graduates in the labor market? To answer this question, we will focus on technical and professional training through Senac's Apprenticeship Programs, which provided young people related to work linked to the Apprenticeship Law No. 10,097 / 2000, which requires the mandatory hiring of young people aged between 14 and 24 years old as apprentices, under the aegis of labor legislation and protection of Brazilian youth. The research was developed from a study with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with young people from the Learning Programs of Senac-SE, in the city of Aracaju. There were 250 questionnaires with these young people aged between 18 and 24 years, of both sexes; 10 young people were selected for the semi-structured interviewees and 05 learning instructors who participated in the professional training. The theoretical framework was founded on historical-dialectical materialism. The categories analyzed were “work, education and youth(s)”, from a perspective of professional training, including young graduates as subjects, the subjects who experienced all the learning. For data analysis of this study, a “content analysis” was used. Therefore, the constant changes in the field of work have generated objective and subjective changes in the lives of the subjects who work and in this scenario, young people are the ones affected, exposure to work and precarious jobs. In summary, although this program is aimed at inserting these young graduates into the labor market, it ends up not being able to do it, because it is not able to do this, because this is a program that does not have an inspection to guarantee this insertion, in fact there is a deficit in relation to the education of young people, which makes it difficult for them to enter and remain in this job market. Effectively, this program ends up serving the interests of capital much more, because it promotes a precarious qualified workforce. O presente estudo objetiva analisar as contribuições da formação profissional dos jovens egressos nos Programas de Aprendizagem do Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Profissional (Senac) em Sergipe, do Centro de Formação Profissional de Aracaju (CFP-Aju), com a para verificar as contribuições da formação para a inserção no mercado de trabalho. Temos os objetivos específicos: contextualizar a educação profissional do Senac no cenário nacional e em Aracaju-SE, refletindo sobre a formação na perspectiva dos jovens egressos e instrutores da aprendizagem; investigar se a formação profissional nos Programas de Aprendizagem do Senac/SE contribuiu para a inserção dos jovens no mercado de trabalho; investigar as trajetórias de trabalho e educacionais destes após a saída dos programas; reconhecer os seus projetos para o campo do trabalho e da educação. Partindo do problema de pesquisa, o que de fato essa formação contribuiu para a inserção dos jovens egressos no mercado de trabalho? Para responder essa questão, iremos nos pautar na formação técnico-profissional ofertada através dos Programas de Aprendizagem do Senac, que proporcionaram aos jovens relação de trabalho vinculada à Lei da Aprendizagem nº 10.097/2000, que exige a obrigatoriedade de contratação de jovens entre 14 a 24 anos de idade como aprendizes, à égide da legislação trabalhista e de proteção aos jovens brasileiros. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida a partir de estudo com abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, com jovens dos Programas de Aprendizagem do Senac-SE, na Cidade de Aracaju. Foram aplicados 250 questionários com esses jovens com idade entre 18 a 24 anos, de ambos os sexos; foram selecionados 10 jovens para as entrevistadas semiestruturadas e 05 instrutores da aprendizagem que participaram da formação profissional. O referencial teórico foi fundamentado no materialismo históricodialético. As categorias analisadas foram “trabalho, educação e juventude(s)”, numa perspectiva de formação profissional, compreendendo os jovens egressos como sendo os sujeitos que vivenciaram toda a aprendizagem. Para análise dos dados desse estudo, foi utilizada a “análise do conteúdo”. Logo, as constantes transformações no campo do trabalho têm gerado mudanças objetivas e subjetivas na vida dos sujeitos que trabalham e neste cenário, os jovens substancialmente são os mais afetados, estando expostos ao desemprego e trabalhos precarizados. Em resumo, esse programa embora seja direcionado para inserir esses jovens egressos no mercado de trabalho, acaba por não dar conta, pois ele não consegue fazer isso, até porque esse é um programa que não se tem uma fiscalização para se garantir essa inserção, na verdade existe um déficit em relação a escolarização desses jovens que dificultam a sua inserção e permanência nesse mercado de trabalho. Efetivamente, esse programa acaba atendendo muito mais aos interesses do capital, porque promove uma mão de obra qualificada precarizada. São Cristóvão

Outra Through using food as a way of reading and understanding diferent angles of society, the rice cake was selected. From the point of view of production, this research has revealed that the rice cake, a typical dish of Mato Grosso State is often a work carried out by women. Rice and cassava make up the material base of the cake. Other ingredients are added depending on the knowledge and taste of those who produce it. Memory, orality and tradition make up its immaterial basis. The purpose of this study was to explore aspects that go beyond the popularity and glamor of rice cake as a typical dish of Mato Grosso State and sought to identify individuals, translate actions, meanings and relationships, often invisible, that intertwine in the construction of this identity element and the very life. Through interviews, observations, photographic records, bibliographic research and online media, there were found to be many diverse methods in which the rice cake is produced within this region. Production is driven by various motivations, the most significant being family economics. The knowledge, highlighted in the case studies, is traditionally shared among women. With such a wide range of traditions and practises, each producer adopts their own specific form of production, tempering the delicacy with its own history, knowledge, memories, beliefs, and interests, making it unique. This know-how continues to be passed on, especially through orality tradition. Other methods of sharing, however, are gaining momentum, especially with the advent of social media and other online platforms. This study has presented a way in which to identify and understand the more diverse styles of living which are not always revealed to the untrained eye. The difficult and often undervalued nature of this work, as highlighted in this study, shows how the rice cake provides opportunities to identify very ordinary people in everyday life and allows you to visualise that meaning, from a different perspective. These daily activities reveal the basic building blocks of society, as expected. Diante da possibilidade de se utilizar a comida como uma forma de ler e compreender faces da sociedade, selecionou-se o bolo de arroz, prato típico do estado de Mato Grosso, como forma de entrar no modo de vida que se revelou, durante a pesquisa e do ponto de vista da produção, típico do sul do estado e do trabalho de mulheres. O arroz e a mandioca compõem a base material do bolo; outros ingredientes são adicionados, a depender dos saberes e gostos de quem o produz. A memória, a oralidade e a tradição compõem a sua base imaterial. A proposta deste estudo foi explorar aspectos que vão além do glamour do bolo de arroz como prato típico do estado de Mato Grosso e buscou identificar sujeitos, traduzir ações, relações e significados muitas vezes invisibilizados, mas que se entrelaçam na construção deste elemento identitário e da própria vida. Pelas entrevistas, observações, registro fotográfico, pesquisa bibliográfica e online em blogs, redes sociais e outros instrumentos virtuais, notou-se a diversidade dos modos de fazer do bolo de arroz nos espaços e territórios estudados. A produção é direcionada por variadas motivações, sendo a mais significativa o sustento familiar. O saber-fazer, nos casos estudados, é compartilhado entre as mulheres. O ato de comer é para todos. Nesse universo de saberes e fazeres, cada produtora adota uma forma de produção, “temperando” o quitute com a própria história, saberes, memórias, crenças, cotidiano e interesses, tornando-o único. Esse fazer continua a ser transmitido, especialmente pela oralidade. Outras formas, contudo, vêm conquistando espaço no quesito compartilhamento – as redes sociais e outros ambientes online. Tal objeto de estudo se apresentou como um caminho aberto para a identificação e a compreensão de diferentes ângulos do modo de vida dessa região, nem sempre mostrados. A dureza e a desvalorização do trabalho, por exemplo, são alguns desses aspectos aqui evidenciados. O bolo de arroz propiciou oportunidades para penetrar em cotidianos bastante comuns e auxiliou a enxergá-los a partir de outras posições. O trabalho na construção civil: feminização, segmentação e consubstancialidade analisou o processo de inserção das mulheres no setor de edificação no Brasil nas ocupações que exigem escolaridade de nível superior, como as engenheiras civis, arquitetas e técnicas em segurança do trabalho e ocupações de baixa escolaridade como as ajudante de obras, rejuntadeiras, pedreiras, aplicadoras de revestimento cerâmico e pintoras e como se processa a segmentação de suas carreiras e a consubstancialidade de gênero, classe e raça que promovem a redução das oportunidades das mulheres no setor. O objetivo da tese é analisar o processo de feminização e segmentação do trabalho das mulheres em suas ocupações, tanto nos cargos de chefia e como no trabalho manual do setor de acabamento em comparaçãocom os homens da construção civil do Brasil, sob a influência de gênero, classe e raça e suas relações de consubstancialidades. As abordagens e métodos adotados voltam-se para utilização da pesquisa qualitativa e quantitativa, por meio do procedimento da triangulação visando atender às finalidades da pesquisa de forma comparativa, descritiva e exploração ampla dos fenômenos. As entrevistas foram realizadas mediante a técnica de amostragem intencional snowboll. As análises foram realizadas com o cruzamento de várias fontes de informações e dados, seja através dos dados estatísticos do Programa de Disseminação de Estatística do Trabalho – PDET, ou do cruzamento de gênero, raça e remuneração com o soltware SPSS, com informações coletadas da RAIS e PNADC. Os resultados da pesquisa destacam que a organização do trabalho feminino e sua convergência entre gênero, classe e raça atuam para reduzir as oportunidades das mulheres na construção civil, por meio de relações sociais que são consubstancializadas provocadas por seu entrelaçamento e separação de homens e mulheres (separação porque classe separa gênero e raça, gênero separa raça e classe e raça separa gênero e classe) ao mesmo tempo, fortalecendo as desigualdades e discriminações no trabalho feminino no setor de edificação. A divisão sexual do trabalho é a substância comum que mantém ativas as desigualdades e inferioridades no mercado de trabalho para as mulheres. E o processo de feminização e segmentação se configuram sobre os efeitos ou consequências da consubstancialidade e separação de gênero, classe e raça. Work in construction: feminization, segmentation and consubstantiality analyzed the process of insertion of women in the building sector in Brazil in occupations that require high schooling, such as civil engineers architects and techniques in occupational safety and occupations of low schooling as the assistant of works reamers, quarries, applicators of ceramic coating and painters and how the segmentation of their careers and the consubstantiality of gender are processed, class and race that promote the reduction of women's opportunities in the sector. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the process of feminization and segmentation of women's work in their occupations, both in the managerial positions and in the manual work of the finishing sector in comparison with the men of the Brazilian civil construction under the influence of gender, class and race and their relations of consubstantiality. The approaches and methods adopted are focused on the use of qualitative and quantitative research, by means of the triangulation procedure in order to meet the purposes of the research in a comparative, descriptive and wide exploration of the phenomena. The interviews were conducted using the technique of intentional sampling snowboll. The analyzes were carried out with the crossing of several sources of information and data, either through the statistical data of the Program o f Dissemination of Labor Statistics – PDLS or cross-gender, race and remuneration with the SPSS soltware, with information collected from ARSI (Annual Report of Social Information). The results of the research highlight that the organization of women's work and its convergence between gender, class and race act to reduce women's opportunities in construction by means of social relations that are embodied by their intertwining and separation (separation because class separates gender and race, gender separates race and class and race separates gender and class) at the same time, strengthening inequalities and discrimination in women's work in the building sector. The sexual division of labor is the common substance that keeps inequalities in the labor market alive or women. And the process of feminization and segmentation are shaped on the effects or consequences of consubstantiality and separation of gender, class and race.

Na história do capitalismo a realidade do mundo do trabalho sempre esteve carregada com marcas profundas de sofrimento e cada momento histórico é capaz de apresentar características muito específicas, moldadas na prática concreta do cotidiano. As contradições do processo de produção de riqueza possibilitaram um fortalecimento ao mundo da mercadoria em detrimento do humano e muitas reflexões nasceram como confronto efetivo às imposições que caíam pesadamente sobre a vida dos trabalhadores. Diversos elementos da vida do trabalho ganharam relevo com as construções de Karl Marx, desde o processo da rigidez do sistema fabril às denominadas flexibilizações do novo capitalismo. Neste sentido serão enfatizadas algumas análises desenvolvidas pela Escola de Frankfurt, equivocadamente reconhecida por muitos como uma crítica ultrapassada e comumente interpretadas como concepções idealistas. Através de pesquisas bibliográficas, de análises teóricas e de registros do adoecimento no trabalho foi possível chegar a várias nuances desse sofrimento, que recebeu tentativas de catalogação pelas perspectivas das políticas de saúde. Conjuntamente com as intensas alterações que se deram no mundo da produção, da mesma forma ocorreu com as conceituações e registros da medicina do trabalho, nos constantes exercícios de catalogação e compreensão das novas doenças, que nem sempre tinham ampla apresentação de suas causas na estrutura orgânica. Dessa forma, muito desse sofrimento escapou à percepção técnico-quantitativa e se sedimentou às fibras da vida cotidiana. Com o ritmo da produtividade cada vez mais foi intensificado o fortalecimento do mundo da mercadoria em detrimento do humano que, nas configurações do novo capitalismo foi incessantemente instigado ao consumo: eficiente garantia de retroalimentação do mundo da produção. Neste cenário, as construções publicitárias instigaram sobremaneira o mecanismo do desejo que, diferentemente da necessidade, pode ser reconhecido como sendo da ordem do infindável. Com as elaborações frankfurtianas e as teorizações psicanalíticas foi possível chegar a uma análise mais abrangente sobre os produtos advindos do mundo da publicidade e a inegável relação do eu, presente nos traços da coletividade social. Foi possível registrar engenhosos processos que acabaram por intensificar a situação de sofrimento no mundo do trabalho, através de programas de financiamento que fortaleceram os vínculos com o mundo da mercadoria, fazendo com que o próprio indivíduo mantivesse a retroalimentação do universo da produção. Assim, essas construções do mundo mercadológico, na lógica da acumulação, são processos calcados na materialidade da existência em que o sujeito não é apenas acessado, mas também partícipe deste processo. In the history of capitalism, the reality of the world of work has always been fraught with deep marks of suffering and each historical moment is likely to present very specific characteristics, molded in the concrete practice of daily life. The contradictions of the process of production of wealth made possible a strengthening of the world of the commodity to the detriment of the human and many reflections were born like effective confrontation to the impositions that fell heavily on the life of the workers. Various elements of working life have gained prominence in Karl Marx’s constructions, from the rigid process of the factory system to the so-called flexibilizations of the new capitalism. In this sense, it will be emphasized some analyzes developed by the Frankfurt School, mistakenly recognized by many theoretical analysis as an outdated critic and commonly framed and interpreted like a idealistic conceptions. Through bibliographic research, theoretical analysis and records of illness at work, it was possible to arrive at several nuances of this suffering, which received attempts at cataloging with heath perspectives of health policies. Together with the intense changes that occurred in the world of production, so did the conceptualizations and records of occupational medicine, in the constant exercises of cataloging and understanding the new diseases, which did not always have a broad presentation of their causes in the organic structure. In this way, much of this suffering escaped technical-quantitative perception and sedimented in the fibers of daily life. With the pace of productivity, the strengthening of the world of merchandise has been intensified to the detriment of the human, who is unceasingly instigated to consumption in the new capitalism’s congigurations: it has become na effective guarantee of reinforcemente from the world of production. In this scenario, advertising constructions have greatly instigated the mechanism of desire which, unlike necessity, can be recognized as the order of the endless. With frankfurtian elaborations and psychoanalytic theorizations it was possible to arrive at a more comprehensive analysis of the products coming from the advertising world and the undeniable relation of the self, present in the traits of social collectivity. It was possible to register ingenious processes that ended up intensifying the situation of suffering in the world of work, through financing programs that fortified the ballasts with the world of the merchandise, causing the individual himself to maintain the feedback and enlargements of the universe of production. Thus, these constructions of the market world, in the logic of accumulation, are processes based on the materiality of existence in which the subject is not only accessed but also a participant in this process.

Esta tese tem como objetivo analisar a organização do trabalho e a identidade dos/as trabalhadores/as ocupados/as em estabelecimentos do Polo de confecção da região da Rua 44, em Goiânia-GO. O trabalho no Polo envolve a imbricação entre produção e comercialização. Diante de tal particularidade investigou-se as atividades e os processos laborais envolvidos no trabalho no Polo, questionando a organização, as relações e a configuração do trabalho, a posição de homens e mulheres na ocupação e a construção da identidade profissional. A metodologia que ampara a pesquisa consiste na triangulação de fontes e métodos, abrangendo a abordagem quantitativa de dados secundários (PNAD, Censo e RAIS) e dados primários (surveys nos estabelecimentos) e a abordagem qualitativa de dados primários (entrevistas semiestruturadas). A análise da organização do trabalho permitiu identificar que a maioria dos/as proprietários/as fabricam as mercadorias em suas facções localizadas em domicílio com a ajuda da família. Contudo, há uma nítida divisão sexual do trabalho no processo produtivo: as mulheres exercem as etapas mais simples e manuais; os homens exercem as atividades mais valorizadas e com algum recurso tecnológico. No comércio, as mulheres exercem a função de vendas; se proprietárias, exercem também a função de gestoras do estabelecimento. Os homens exercem predominantemente a função de gestores, a maioria contrata mulheres para a função de vendas. A qualificação, a escolaridade e a remuneração das mulheres são inferiores à dos homens. Sobre as condições de trabalho no Polo, o espaço laboral é pequeno e apertado, os/s trabalhadores/as não têm horário para as refeições nem intervalo para descanso. Independentemente da posição ocupada, as mulheres conciliam trabalho produtivo com trabalho reprodutivo. Assim, a jornada de trabalho para a maioria das mulheres é dupla, para as mulheres fabricantes é tripla. O uso de tecnologia é baixo nas duas atividades: produção e comercialização. Nas relações de trabalho, constatou-se que a metade dos/as trabalhadores/as apresenta vínculo de trabalho desprotegido, ou seja, informal; a maioria são mulheres. A informalidade abrange também a atividade econômica e os terceirizados. Quanto ao trabalho no Polo, foi possível constatar que este se configura em torno das novas formas de organização do trabalho, tendo na informalidade e na precarização suas principais características. Sobre a posição na ocupação, verificou-se que a maioria das mulheres ocupa os postos de execução, de menor qualificação e baixa remuneração. Embora homens e mulheres ocupem postos de comando do negócio, os homens são mais qualificados e melhor remunerados que as mulheres. Sobre o reconhecimento social, constatou-se que praticamente todos/as os/as trabalhadores/as atribuem um significado positivo ao trabalho, gostam do que fazem e estão satisfeitos, o que inclui os/as trabalhadores/as inseridos/as em formas precárias de trabalho. O reconhecimento positivo abrange também o modo como eles/as acham que o trabalho é percebido pela família, parentes e amigos. Assim, este estudo permite sustentar a seguinte tese: ainda que a organização do trabalho no Polo de confecção tenha sido atingida pelas transformações ocorridas no mundo do trabalho e se reconfigurado através de trabalho flexível e precário, este possibilita a construção de uma identidade positiva vinculada ao trabalho no setor. This thesis proposes to analyze the organization of work and the identity of the workers employed in establishments in the polo area of ​​Rua 44, in Goiânia, GO. Working at the Pole involves the imbrication between production and commercialization. In view of this particularity, the activities and labor processes involved in the work in the Pole were investigated, questioning the organization, relationships and configuration of work, the position of men and women in the occupation and the construction of professional identity. The methodology that supported the research consists of triangulation of sources and methods, covering the quantitative approach of secondary data (PNAD, Census and RAIS) and primary data (surveys conducted at the Pole) and the qualitative approach of primary data (semi-structured interviews). This analysis of the organization of the work allowed to identify that the majority of owners manufacture their goods in factions at home with the help of the family. However, there is a clearly sexual division of labor in the productive process: women carry out the simplest and most manual steps; the men perform the most valued activities and with some technological resource. In the business venue, women perform the sales function; if they are owners, they also perform the function of managers of the establishment. Men are predominantly managerial and most hire women for the sales function. Women's qualifications, schooling and remuneration are lower than men’s. As for the working conditions in the Pole, the work space is small and tight, the workers do not have schedule for meals or a rest break. Regardless of the position occupied, women combine productive work with reproductive work. Thus, the working hours for most women is double, for female manufacturers it is triple. The use of technology is low in the two activities: production and marketing. In labor relations, it was found that half of the workers have an unprotected, or informal, work link; the majority are women. Informality also encompasses economic activity and its outsourcers. About the work in the Pole, it was possible to verify that it is based around the new forms of organization of the work, having in the informality and the precariousness its main characteristics. Regarding the position in the occupation, it was verified that the majority of the women occupy the offices of execution, of less qualification and low remuneration. Although men and women occupy business command posts, men are more skilled and better paid than women. Concerning social recognition, it has been found that practically all workers give a positive meaning to work, they like what they do and are satisfied, which includes workers in precarious forms of work. Positive recognition also covers the way they think work is perceived by family, friends, and others. Thus, this study supports the following thesis: even though the organization of the work in the Pole of clothing making has been affected by changes in the world of work and has been reconfigured through flexible and precarious work, it allows the construction of a positive identity linked to the work in the sector.

O presente trabalho busca compreender as relações identitárias (DUBAR, 2009) das trabalhadoras do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar do Estado de Goiás-Brasil, numa perspectiva crítica da desigualdade de gênero (SIMPSON & LEWIS, 2007) ainda enfrentada por elas dentro da instituição. A pesquisa volta-se à tentativa de irromper com representações sociais sexuadas da profissão conferidas pelos colegas de trabalho e pela sociedade, ainda como uma atividade masculina (BAIÃO, 2006). A forte representação positiva da profissão em todo o mundo corrobora para ilustrar, como em trabalhos reconhecidos socialmente o número de mulheres ainda é escasso (WILLIAMS, 1989), isso levando em conta particularmente a legalidade estatutária de cotas de inserção nos bombeiros de Goiás, que outorga às mulheres um percentual de apenas 10% do quantitativo de vagas. A metodologia cientifica pautou-se na realização de vinte entrevistas semi-estruturadas (FLICK, 2004) com as referidas trabalhadoras, buscando uma análise a partir do reconhecimento de suas capacidades laborais, poder de mando dentro da instituição, valores e necessidades ainda a serem contempladas no ambiente de trabalho e saúde. Buscou-se dar ênfase nos discursos à relação entre ser bombeira, militar, mãe e esposa, procurando ressaltar a dupla (e/ou tripla) jornada a que são expostas, não deixando de evidenciar o discurso de algumas chefes de família.Pontuamos uma diferenciação importante nos discursos em relação as que trabalham no serviço operacional e àquelas que trabalham no serviço administrativo, principalmente em relação ao desgaste físico e psíquico (DEJOURS, 1990; 1992; 1995; 1998) confeccionado ora pelas atividades de quartel ora pelas adversidades da conciliação entre casa, filhos e trabalho. A princípio, constatamos que a identidade bombeira para si, destoa daquela apontada pela sociedade que as considera como “heroínas”, esta falácia social contraria o discurso profissional das bombeiras que apregoam a racionalidade técnica e o compromisso como requisitos básicos para o exercício do trabalho. Por se tratar de um setor de serviços de segurança pública, notamos ocorrer um tardio processo de inserção destas profissionais quando comparadas a outras instituições, o que forneceu embasamento para atualmente ocorrer relações assimétricas entre os gêneros. Neste espaço, há exposições de resultados de pesquisa da Secretaria Nacional de Segurança Pública contrabalanceada a teorias feministas, da sociologia do trabalho e da identidade, e as contempladas em pesquisa de campo, feita via google docs com 105 bombeiras goianas. Discutimos ainda, as implicações da jornada de trabalho em comparação a outras áreas de trabalho civil procurando realçar o entendimento do contexto militar, da vida de caserna, da aceitação pública profissional e seus embates frente às relações de gênero, que muito configuram situações de assédios morais e sexuais ainda para com essas profissionais. The present work seeks to understand the identity relations (DUBAR, 2009) of the workers of the Military Fire Brigade of the State of Goiás-Brazil, in a critical perspective of gender inequality (SIMPSON & LEWIS, 2007) still faced by them within the institution. The research turns to the attempt to break in with sexual social representations of the profession conferred by work colleagues and by society, still as a masculine activity (BAIÃO, 2006). The strong positive representation of the profession throughout the world corroborates to illustrate, as in socially recognized work the number of women is still scarce (WILLIAMS, 1989), taking into account in particular the statutory legality of insertion quotas in the firemen of Goiás, which gives women a percentage of only 10% of the number of places. The scientific methodology was based on the accomplishment of twenty semi-structured interviews (FLICK, 2004) with the referred workers, seeking an analysis based on the recognition of their work capacities, power of command within the institution, values and needs still to be contemplated in the workplace and health. The focus was on the relationship between being a firefighter, military man, mother and wife, trying to highlight the double (and / or triple) journey to which they are exposed, while noting the discourse of some heads of families. We point out a significant differentiation in the discourses regarding those who work in the operational service and those who work in the administrative service, especially in relation to physical and psychic exhaustion (DEJOURS, 1990; 1992; 1995; 1998) sometimes made by the activities of barracks sometimes through the adversities of reconciliation between home, children and work. At first, we find that the identity of the firefighter, contrary to the one pointed out by the society that considers them as "heroines", this social fallacy contradicts the professional discourse of the firemen who preach technical rationality and commitment as basic requirements for the exercise of work. Because it is a sector of public security services, we noticed a late process of insertion of these professionals when compared to other institutions, which provided a basis for currently occurring asymmetrical relations between genders. In this space, there are exhibitions of research results from the National Secretariat of Public Security, counterbalanced to feminist theories of labor sociology and identity, and those contemplated in field research, made via google docs with 105 goiás firefighters. We also discuss the implications of the working day in comparison to other areas of civil work seeking to highlight the understanding of the military context, barracks life, professional public acceptance and their clashes with the gender relations, which very much represent situations of moral harassment and sex with these professionals.

O constante desenvolvimento da tecnologia da informação (enquanto meio de automação e articulação dos mecanismos de processamento, armazenamento e difusão de dados) provoca um amplo debate sobre seus reflexos nas formas de organização e produção do trabalho. A partir da década de 1990 o mercado passa por profundas modificações em função dos novos paradigmas tecnológicos trazidos pela TI, o que deu origem a mudanças tanto na dimensão da busca por trabalho quanto no perfil dos profissionais deste segmento. Esta dissertação analisa uma ocupação do setor de Tecnologia da Informação (TI) – a de técnicas/os em informática – como um segmento específico em relação às demais profissões de TI. Objetivou-se também identificar como os marcadores sociais de gênero atuam sobre a entrada e permanência das mulheres nesta área. A partir de dados disponibilizados por bases governamentais, foi possível fazer um levantamento quantitativo relacionado à participação feminina, tanto em cursos técnicos que dialogam com o setor de TI, quanto na inserção no mercado de trabalho, confirmando a segregação por gênero entre técnicas/os de informática. Além disso, a partir de entrevistas semiestruturadas, buscamos evidenciar a trajetória das egressas e dos egressos do curso Técnico em Informática para Internet, ofertado pelo Instituto Federal de Educação Ciência e Tecnologia de Goiás (IFG). Desta forma, nossa pesquisa apontou que se trata de um setor ocupacional dinâmico e complexo em sua estruturação, em que as variações em suas famílias ocupacionais e adjacentes podem causar generalizações sobre as atividades ligadas ao setor, e que o mesmo ainda é composto majoritariamente por homens brancos. Os resultados indicam que os discursos presentes no meio social contribuem para o processo de segregação ocupacional no setor de TI, mas são as próprias estruturas que organizam a sociedade que a propiciam. The constant development of information technology (as a means of automation and articulation of the mechanisms of data processing, storage and diffusion) provokes a wide debate about its reflexes in the forms of organization and production of the work. From the 1990s onwards, the market underwent profound changes due to the new technological paradigms brought by IT, which gave rise to changes both in the size of the search for work and in the profile of professionals in this segment. This dissertation analyzes an occupation of the Information Technology (IT) sector – it technicians – as a specific segment in relation to the other IT professions. The objective was also to identify how social gender markers act on the entry and permanence of women in this area. Based on data provided by governmental bases, it was possible to make a quantitative survey related to female participation, both in technical courses that dialogue with the IT sector, and in the insertion in the labor market, confirming the gender segregation among it technicians. In addition, based on semi-structured interviews, we sought to highlight the trajectory of egresses of the Technical Course in Computer Science for Internet, offered by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG). In this way, our research pointed out that it is a dynamic and complex occupational sector in its structuring, in which the variations in their occupational and adjacent families can cause generalizations about the activities related to the sector, and that the same still is composed mostly by white men. The results indicate that the discourses present in the social environment contribute to the process of occupational segregation in the IT sector, but it is the very structures that organize the society that provides it. A presente dissertação enfoca a sociabilidade no comércio de alimentos e como os trabalhadores com venda de alimentos típicos, como a tradicional pamonha, em Goiânia, constroem suas identidades e representações sociais diante das relações de trabalho. Esta dissertação se concentra em fazer uma análise sociológica do trabalho na produção e venda de um alimento típico, a pamonha, na cidade de Goiânia. Pretende-se abordar historicamente o início do comércio de alimentos; incorporação do milho na culinária brasileira; surgimento da pamonha e todo o processo de sua comercialização. Realizou-se uma investigação sobre a captação de consumidores, produção e venda na atividade ocupacional de vendedor de pamonha. A pesquisa foi realizada com trabalhadores nesse tipo de atividade localizados em várias regiões da cidade de Goiânia. A pesquisa envolveu trabalhadores que operam em vias públicas, praças, quanto àqueles que trabalham em espaço privado, em estabelecimentos fixos. Utilizou-se uma abordagem qualitativa, por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Os resultados demonstraram a dificuldade de uma parte significativa de vendedores ambulantes na identificação com a atividade ocupacional exercida. No entanto, deve-se considerar que o não reconhecimento do trabalho é atribuído a uma imagem de marginalização e de precarização do trabalho informal. Outro fator de destaque deste trabalho é a relação interpessoal entre os vendedores e consumidores como estratégia de competitividade e empreendedorismo. This dissertation focuses on the food trade and sociality as workers with typical foods for sale, as the traditional pamonha, in Goiânia, build their identities and social representations on labour relations. It aims on developing a sociological analysis of the work in the production and sales of a typical food, the pamonha, in the city of Goiânia. It is intended to address historically the beginning of food trade; incorporation of maize in Brazilian cuisine; emergence of the pamonha and the whole process of marketing. It was performed a research on the consumer capture, production and sale in occupational activity of seller of pamonha. The survey was conducted with workers in this type of activity located in various places in the city of Goiânia. The research involved workers who operate on public roads, squares, as for those who work in private space, in settled establishments. A qualitative approach was used, by means of semi-structured interviews. The results demonstrated the awkwardness experienced by a significant proportion of hawkers in accepting the occupational activity performed. However, it must be considered that the job non-acknowledging is assigned to the representation of an outsider and precarious work. Another prominent factor related to this occupation is the interpersonal relationship between sellers and consumers as a strategy of competitiveness and entrepreneurship.

Nessa dissertação, apresentamos uma discussão sobre a relação entre trabalho, lazer e consumo no modo de produção capitalista, tendo o Shopping Center como objeto de pesquisa. É um trabalho teórico que parte da perspectiva marxista para analisar os fenômenos do trabalho, lazer econsumo na sociedade capitalista. Em um primeiro momento, apresentamos uma discussão sobre as mudanças no mundo do trabalho à luz da teoria dos regimes de acumulação. Em seguida, no segundo capítulo da dissertação, fazemos uma discussão sobre trabalho, tempo livre e capitalismo, trazendo um debate sobre o consumo e o lazer, superando a concepção funcionalista e apresentando uma definição crítica sobre esses fenômenos. No terceiro capítulo nos dedicamos ao estudo do Shopping Center, apresentando os aspectos históricos e estruturais desses empreendimentos para, em seguida, relacionarmos esse ambiente com a reprodução e prática do lazer e consumo programados. Com essa pesquisa, conseguimos constatar que não existe tempo livre na sociedade capitalista, mas sim um tempo cada vez mais racionalizado e orientado para a prática do consumo e do lazer programados. Conseguimos constatar ainda, que o Shopping Center é um dos principais centros de consumo da sociedade contemporânea, sendo um ambiente onde o lazer e o consumo programado são práticas comuns, graças ao serviço do marketing, da praticidade e da suposta segurança que o Shopping Center oferece a seus frequentadores. O Shopping Center é uma ilha da fantasia na qual o indivíduo se prende e esquece por um minuto das coisas que acontecem lá fora. Palavras- In this dissertation, we present a discussion of the relationship between work, leisure and consumption in the capitalist mode of production, and the Shopping Center as a research object. It is a theoretical work of the Marxist perspective to analyze the phenomena of work, leisure and consumption in capitalist society. At first, we present a discussion of the changes in the working world in the light of the theory of accumulation schemes. Then in the second chapter of the dissertation, we make a discussion of work, free time and capitalism, bringing a debate on consumption and leisure, surpassing the functionalist conception and presenting a critical definition of these phenomena. In the third chapter, we dedicated to the study of the Shopping Center, presenting the historical and structural aspects of these developments to then relate this environment with playing and practice of leisure and programmed consumption. With this research, we find that there is no free time in capitalist society, but rather a time increasingly streamlined and practice-oriented consumption and scheduled leisure. We were able to note also that the Shopping Center is one of the main centers of consumption in contemporary society, and an environment where leisure and scheduled consumption are common practices, thanks to the service of marketing, practicality and alleged security Shopping Center offers his regulars. Fundação de Apoio a Pesquisa e à Inovação Tecnológica do Estado de Sergipe - FAPITEC/SE This research aimed to analyze the social representations, socially shared and developed, about the work and the profession of military police, and investigate the relationship of these representations with the quality of life in the work of police in Aracaju/Se. The Social representations, in the case of the police, tend in different contexts to relate them to risk, to confront crime and the approximation with socially undesirable aspects such as crime, corruption, violence, health risks and death. When you consider the police as a profession, it stands out as a specialization in socio-technical division of labor. The work activity of the military police is expressed by the production of use value and exchange value in society, that is, the use refers to public security service offered to society and the Exchange refers to the price paid by it’s employer, the State, by its service. In this way it’s understood that the military police officer is a worker that can be included in the class-who-lives-of-work. The empirical research had the participation of 274 military police, distributed in units of ostensive policing expert: Special Motor-Tactical Grouping GETAM, Shock police battalion-BPChoq, Police Patrol radio Company-CPRp and the headquarters of the General commands –QCG. The representations built by the police reveal the importance of the work on social dynamics of these agents, constituted by the possibility of guarantee performances of the individual aspects (survival, social support, achievements) and social aspects of work (social utility of the profession, career development). On the other hand, emphasize the little support that the Military Institution offers to meet the demands of the job. The analysis of representations about the work made it possible to identify the relations established between workers (military police) and ways of structuring their activity, as well as, working conditions and the impacts in situations of violence, health and work. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar as representações sociais, socialmente compartilhadas e elaboradas, acerca do trabalho e da profissão do policial militar, e investigar a relação destas representações com a qualidade de vida no trabalho dos policiais em Aracaju/Se. As representações sociais, no caso das polícias, tendem em diferentes contextos a relacioná-las ao risco, ao enfrentamento à criminalidade e a aproximação com aspectos socialmente indesejáveis como o crime, a corrupção, a violência, riscos a saúde e a morte. Ao se considerar a polícia como profissão, destaca-se como uma especialização na divisão sociotécnica do trabalho. A atividade de trabalho do policial militar se expressa pela produção do valor de uso e valor de troca na sociedade, ou seja, quanto ao uso refere-se ao serviço de segurança publica oferecida a sociedade e a troca refere-se ao preço pago pelo seu empregador, o Estado, pelo seu serviço. Desta forma entende-se que o policial militar é um trabalhador que pode ser incluído na classe-que-vive- do- trabalho. A pesquisa empírica teve a participação de 274 policiais militares, distribuídos nas unidades de policiamento ostensivo especializado: Grupamento Especial Tático Motorizado- GETAM, Batalhão de Policia de Choque- BPChoq, Companhia de Polícia de Rádio Patrulha- CPRp e o Quartel do Comando Geral – QCG. As representações construídas pelos policiais revelam a importância do trabalho na dinâmica social destes agentes, constituídas pela possibilidade de garantias de realizações nos aspectos individuais (sobrevivência, suporte social, realizações) e aspectos sociais do trabalho (utilidade social da profissão, desenvolvimento da carreira). Por outro lado, ressaltam o pouco apoio que a Instituição Militar disponibiliza para atender as demandas do trabalho. A análise das representações sobre o trabalho permitiu identificar as relações estabelecidas entre os trabalhadores (policial militar) e as formas de estruturação de sua atividade, assim como, as condições de trabalho e os impactos nas situações de violência, saúde e trabalho.

This doctoral thesis has been developed from research developed that aimed to analyze the associative experience of waste pickers in Public Policy Green Agreement in the city of João Pessoa, the state capital of Paraiba, northeastern Brazil. The theoretical basis of the research was focused on classical and contemporary formulations of the sociology of work and the classical and contemporary theories of the gift. The research was conducted by qualitative method and quantitative (questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, observations and informal conversations in locus and focused) on two collector associations in the city of João Pessoa. The field research revealed the importance of Public Policy recycling of solid waste, the prevalence of employer donation, patronage and competitive and the challenges posed opposite income generation and associative work pickers policies A presente tese de doutorado foi elaborada a partir de pesquisa desenvolvida que objetivava analisar a experiência associativista de catadores de materiais recicláveis no âmbito da Política Pública Acordo Verde, na cidade de João Pessoa, capital do estado da Paraíba, nordeste do Brasil. O embasamento teórico da pesquisa ficou concentrado nas formulações clássicas e contemporâneas da sociologia do trabalho e nas teorias clássicas e contemporâneas da dádiva. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida pelo método qualitativo e quantitativo (aplicação de questionário, entrevistas semiestruturadas, observações in loco e conversas informais) e se concentrou em duas associações de catadores na cidade de João Pessoa. A pesquisa de campo realizada revelou a importância da Política Pública de reciclagem de resíduos sólidos, o predomínio da dádiva patronal, clientelista e competitiva e os desafios postos frente a políticas de geração de renda e trabalho associativo de catadores.

Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos The culture of work, comprising the values, ideas and shared behaviors between individuals in organizations, has been modified from the restructuring process. The objective of this research is to identify how the organizational discourse constructed by the media reinforces ideologically such transformations, generating a representation of the desired profile of the contemporary worker. For this, we analyze news from the magazine Você S/A on its Career section, based on categories of Discourse Analysis and sociological theory about the world of work. The topics more focused by the magazine were analyzed in relation to discursive aspects of intertextuality and interdiscursivity in written texts and images of the articles. Thus, it was possible to realize that organizational culture in media discourse follows the business management perspective, regulatory and uncritical. The ideological process hide the mechanisms of pressure and overload work by enhancing the desired values of the new worker's profile, based on autonomy, skills, flexibility and innovation. Figures such as coach, consultant, leader, entrepreneur and professionals related to human resources are central to the consolidation of work and organizational culture. In addition, there is a convergence between journalistic, business and educational discourses, focused on the executive worker training that compounds the public of Você S/A. The reports prescribe "recipes" that are assertive when discuss the employee's responsibilities, while the benefits are only in the bound of possibilities. A cultura organizacional, compreendendo o conjunto de valores, ideias e comportamentos compartilhados entre os indivíduos nas empresas, tem se modificado a partir do processo de reestruturação produtiva. O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar como o discurso organizacional construído pela mídia reforça ideologicamente tais transformações, gerando uma representação do perfil desejável do trabalhador contemporâneo. Para isso, analisamos as matérias jornalísticas da revista Você S/A sobre carreira, a partir de categorias da Análise do Discurso e do aporte teórico sociológico sobre o mundo do trabalho. Os temas mais enfocados pela revista foram analisados em relação a aspectos discursivos da intertextualidade e interdiscursividade, nos textos escritos e imagéticos das reportagens. Com isso, foi possível constatar que a cultura organizacional no discurso da mídia segue a perspectiva da gestão empresarial, normativa e acrítica. O processo ideológico oculta os mecanismos de pressão e sobrecarga do trabalho ao enaltecer os valores desejados do novo perfil do trabalhador, baseados na autonomia, nas competências, na flexibilidade e na inovação. Figuras como coach, consultor, líder, empreendedor e os profissionais ligados a recursos humanos são centrais para a sedimentação do trabalho e da cultura organizacional. Além disso, há uma convergência entre os discursos jornalístico, empresarial e pedagógico, voltados à formação do trabalhador-executivo, que compõe o público da Você S/A. As reportagens prescrevem receitas , que são assertivas ao tratar as responsabilidades do trabalhador, enquanto os benefícios estão apenas no campo das possibilidades.

A temática da tese gira em torno do processo e organização do trabalho em artesanato e a construção dos processos identitários pelos trabalhadores. A intenção é mostrar em seu conjunto, quatro pontos essenciais: existe uma identidade constituída a partir de um apanhado de elementos, sejam culturais, sociais ou laborais entre os artesãos presentes em várias regiões brasileiras e na cidade de Goiânia. Essa identidade vem sendo gerada, formada, desenvolvida ao longo dos tempos. Características e particularidades do processo e organização do trabalho desses artesãos foram modificadas ainda que alguns elementos permaneçam relacionados ao processo e à organização do trabalho industrial. O artesanato é um tipo de trabalho em que, os gêneros se misturam em suas atividades laborais, com algumas ressalvas. O objetivo geral é analisar o processo laboral e a construção da identidade no trabalho em artesanato em Goiânia e no Brasil. Entre os objetivos específicos estão: reconstruir os fundamentos teóricos sobre o surgimento do artesanato como forma de trabalho. Analisar a relação entre a forma identitária laboral e outras formas identitárias construídas na trajetória biográfica do trabalhador em artesanato. Analisar a relação entre identidade social do trabalhador em artesanato e identidade cultural relacionada ao artesanato regional e nacional. Analisar a divisão social do trabalho em artesanato e a construção do gênero entre trabalhadores em artesanato em Goiânia e no Brasil. Como metodologia foi utilizada uma abordagem quali-quantitativa, utilizando-se primeiramente bases de dados governamentais que continham dados sobre o trabalho em atividades artesanais, como o Censo do IBGE e a PNAD. Na etapa qualitativa empregamos entrevistas presenciais com artesãos e artesãs com o uso de gravador, a partir de um roteiro de entrevista, o qual orientava as questões centrais no processo de coleta de dados, a pesquisa documental, a aplicação de questionários de forma on line empregando o aplicativo Google Docs, diálogos informais e a utilização de blogs, redes sociais e bases de dados relacionados a portais ou sítios da internet. The thesis theme discuss in the process and organization of work in handcraft and the construction of the identity process by the workers. The intention of it is to show its group, four points are essential: there is an identity built from de mixture of elements, as cultural, social and labors between the handcrafters present in many Brazilian regions and in the city of Goiânia. This identity has been concepted, made and developed all over the years. This characteristics and particulates of work process and organization of this handcrafters were still modified some elements have relations to the process and the industrial work and organization, the handcraft is a kind of work which the genders mixture themselves in your labors activities, with some modifications. The main objective is to analyses the labor process and the construction of identity in the work of handcraft in Goiânia and Brazil. Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais The context generated by the productive restructuring associated with financial crises and changes in the Brazilian economy in the late 1990s led to the collapse of many companies and resulted in increased unemployment and increasing instability and insecurity of labor relations. Thus, workers sought other forms of livelihood, including the associated work. ANTEAG (Associação Nacional de Trabalhadores em Empresas de Autogestão e Participação Acionária) [National Association of Self-Management Companies Workers] emerged in this context, with the goal of supporting groups of workers to unite and take control of bankrupt factories in which they worked, preserving their jobs. So, the first recovered factories emerged. At this time, the movement of the Solidarity Economy also begins to grow, and Unisol Brazil (Central de Cooperativas e Empreendimentos Solidários) [Central of Cooperatives and Solidary Enterprises] arises to support various types of solidary economic enterprises, including the recovered factories. Thus, the purpose of our research was to make a general analysis of the current situation of recovered factories in Brazil. To do this, we return to some of the pioneering experiments of recovered companies. Our goal was to understand if and how cooperative and self-managed values are present in these enterprises today. So, we performed a literature review of case studies about recovered factories and visited several experiences of this type, where we conducted observations and interviewed leaders and workers, using semi-structured scripts. In addition, we seek to look at our subject from an international perspective, so we visited Argentina and France. In general, we note that, although the ideals of cooperatives and self-management remain in the speeches of many workers, their enforcement encounters many obstacles in practice. In other words, to be viable, recuperated factories face many pressures in the market, which eventually modify some of your initial goals. O contexto gerado pela reestruturação produtiva associada às crises financeiras e mudanças na economia brasileira no final dos anos 1990 provocou a falência de muitas empresas e resultou em aumento do desemprego e precarização das relações de trabalho. Assim, os trabalhadores foram levados a buscar outras formas de obter renda, entre as quais, o trabalho associado. A ANTEAG (Associação Nacional de Trabalhadores em Empresas de Autogestão e Participação Acionária) surgiu nesse contexto, com o objetivo de apoiar grupos de trabalhadores a se unirem e assumirem o controle das fábricas falidas onde trabalhavam, preservando seus postos de trabalho. Surgiram, então, as primeiras fábricas recuperadas . Nesse momento, também passa a ganhar força o movimento da Economia Solidária, e é criada a UNISOL Brasil (Central de Cooperativas e Empreendimentos Solidários), que passa a apoiar diversos tipos de empreendimentos econômicos solidários, entre os quais as fábricas recuperadas. Assim, a proposta de nossa pesquisa foi fazer um balanço da situação atual das fábricas recuperadas no Brasil, a partir do retorno a algumas experiências pioneiras de recuperação de empresas. Nosso objetivo foi verificar se e em que medida os valores cooperativos e autogestionários se fazem presentes nesses empreendimentos até hoje. Para tanto, realizamos uma revisão bibliográfica de estudos de caso sobre as fábricas recuperadas e visitamos diversos empreendimentos desse tipo, onde realizamos observações e entrevistamos lideranças e trabalhadores. Além disso, buscamos olhar para nosso tema à luz de uma perspectiva internacional, a partir de visitas à Argentina e a França. De maneira geral, notamos que, embora os ideais do cooperativismo e da chamada autogestão permaneçam presentes nos discursos de muitos trabalhadores, sua efetivação encontra muitos obstáculos na prática, uma vez que, para serem viáveis, as fábricas recuperadas enfrentam muitas pressões do mercado, que acabam por modificar alguns de seus objetivos iniciais.

Este trabalho teve como objetivo analisar alguns aspectos relativos ao fluxo migratório de trabalhadores brasileiros para o Japão. Nesse contexto, a partir de entrevistas qualitativas realizadas com brasileiros que se encontravam na província de Aichi no Japão, pesquisa bibliográfica referente aos decasséguis brasileiros, e referencial teórico sobre as migrações internacionais recentes relacionadas ao mundo do trabalho, arranjos familiares e migração de retorno, buscou-se analisar questões como: o trabalho em fábricas no Japão; o trabalho realizado no setor de serviços no Japão; os impactos da crise econômica de 2008 sobre esses trabalhadores; as diversas estratégias familiares criadas para lidar com as novas situações, oportunidades e constrangimentos no âmbito familiar, decorrentes da migração para o exterior; as expectativas e conflitos que envolvem a questão do retorno ao Brasil. This study aimed to analyze some aspects of the migration of Brazilian workers to Japan. In this context, from qualitative interviews made with Brazilians who were in Aichi prefecture in Japan, literature referring to literature decasséguis Brazilians, and theoretical about recent international migration related to the world of work, family arrangements and return migration, sought to examine issues such as: the work in factories in Japan; the work done in the service sector in Japan; the impacts of the crisis 2008 economic about these workers; various family strategies designed to cope with new situations, opportunities and family constraints, due to outward migration; and the expectations and conflicts involving the subject of returning to Brazil.

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar as representações dos trabalhadores inseridos nas atividades de resgate bombeiro militar. Tal objetivo se justifica tanto pela necessidade social dessa tarefa junto à comunidade, quanto pela intensa aceitação pública, mesmo diante das novas estruturações do mundo do trabalho. O estudo foi feito em quartéis das cidades de Goiânia-GO e São Paulo-SP. O pressuposto inicial de pesquisa era que a motivação para a atividade de bombeiros dar-se-ia, sobretudo no pronto-socorrismo, por motivações vocacionais já orquestradas por seus trabalhadores antes mesmo da inserção no trabalho. Isso caracterizaria a representação tão positiva da profissão, principalmente depois de alguns anos de efetivo trabalho. A dissertação tem como ponto de partida algumas observações sobre as transformações ocorridas no país, no ambiente interno de trabalho dos quartéis com a inserção desse tipo de serviço à sociedade, bem como sobre o debate em torno do conceito de identidade profissional, risco e representação social heroica que o trabalho de resgate tem acumulado em suas iniciativas de trabalho, principalmente nos dois Estados em questão. A análise da identidade parte de algumas contribuições teóricas que concebem a representação social e a identidade profissional como fruto dos processos cotidianos da sociedade e do seu fundo social de conhecimento sobre a atividade de socorristas. A partir das entrevistas com os trabalhadores, buscou-se construir uma caracterização dos socorristas, bem como suas percepções e assimilações diante do trabalho, tanto antes de sua inserção, quanto suas propensões em relação ao futuro e a Instituição. Os dados analisados assinalam diferenças significativas no que diz respeito às intenções e também nas motivações de ingresso na profissão nas duas cidades, bem como do perfil educacional e faixa etária. A pesquisa aponta uma diferença significativa, advinda da posse educacional, fator de diferença em maior e menor grau do envolvimento com o trabalho como fonte primária de vocação. Além disso, foi possível perceber uma diferenciação na forma como se encara a identidade de socorrista dentro e fora do quartel, que favorecem para fornecer subsídios à questão de “ser” e “estar bombeiro”, na qualidade de possíveis casos de aversão à atividade, fruto das relações laborais de desgaste psicológico e físico, que mais concorrem para a formação de sua identidade coletiva. This thesis aims to analyze the representations of workers participated in the activities of military rescue firefighter. This goal is justified by both the social need in the community for this task, as the intense public acceptance, even before the new structuring of the working world. The study was done in barracks in the cities of Goiânia-GO and São Paulo-SP. The initial assumption was that the research motivation for the activity of firefighters, it would give especially in emergency first aid for vocational motivations already orchestrated by his workers even before the inclusion in the workplace. This would characterize as positive representation of the profession, especially after a few years of effective work. The dissertation has as its starting point some observations on the changes in the country, the internal work environment of the barracks with the inclusion of this type of service to society, as well as the debate around the concept of professional identity, representation and social risk heroic rescue work that has accumulated in their work initiatives, mainly in the States concerned. The analysis part of the identity of some theoretical contributions that conceive social representation and professional identity as a result of the everyday processes of society and its social fund of knowledge about the activity of rescuers. From the interviews with workers, sought to build a characterization of rescuers, as well as their perceptions and assimilation toward work, both before its insertion, as their propensities for the future and the Institution. The analyzed data indicate significant differences with regard to the intentions and also the motivations of entry into the profession in the two cities, as well as the educational profile and age. The survey found a significant difference, arising from the possession educational factor difference in the highest and lowest degree of involvement with work as a primary source of vocation. Furthermore, it was possible to notice a difference in the way it views the identity of rescuers inside and outside the barracks, to provide subsidies that favor the question of "being" and "being a firefighter," as possible cases of aversion to activity, fruit of labor relations of psychological strain and physical, that most contribute to the formation of a collective identity. Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos The aim of this dissertation is to analyze a group of Brazilian workers who are in London doing some "unskilled job" in the service sector. It is intended to verify: the alleged reasons to migrate; how it developed throughout the process of displacement, arrival and adaptation in the new society; the working conditions that these immigrants are submitted; the social networks used to obtain and maintain the work; and the intra-Community relations. In a context of mobility of people between continents and region, social networks act as mediators that facilitate these movements, since the social contacts provide initial information to obtain access to housing, work and other material or symbolic goods. However, those individuals who "constitute social ties" are not always supportive and these links will not provide gains to all, and it may exclude some while includes others. Inserted into a new social logic and working on activities that they would not perform in their country of origin, these immigrants assume new values in relation to work, building new forms of social differentiation and justification. The research is the result of two distinct moments. First an exploratory study was conducted from an experience as student and casual worker for nine months in London, in which was developed ethnography of social relations and work in the "community" of informal Brazilian workers. Secondly, in-depth interviews were conducted in order to recover the trajectory of life of these migrant. O objetivo desta dissertação é analisar um grupo de trabalhadores brasileiros que estão em Londres realizando trabalhos considerados desqualificados dentro do setor de serviço. Pretende-se verificar os motivos alegados para migrar, a forma como se desenvolveu todo o processo de deslocamento, chegada e adaptação na nova sociedade, as condições de trabalho a que se submetem esses imigrantes, as redes sociais utilizadas na obtenção e manutenção do trabalho, e as relações intracomunitárias. Em um contexto de crescente deslocamento de indivíduos entre regiões e continentes, as redes sociais funcionam como mediadores que facilitam esses deslocamentos, já que os contatos sociais fornecem as informações iniciais para se obter acesso à moradia, trabalho e a outros bens materiais ou simbólicos. Contudo, nem sempre esses indivíduos que constituem laços sociais são solidários e nem sempre esses laços vão proporcionar ganhos a todos, podendo excluir alguns ao mesmo tempo em que incluem outros. Inseridos em uma nova lógica social e trabalhando em atividades que não realizariam em seu país de origem, esses imigrantes assumem novos valores em relação ao trabalho, construindo novas formas de diferenciação e justificação social. A pesquisa é fruto de dois momentos distintos. Primeiro foi realizado um estudo exploratório, a partir de uma experiência como estudante e trabalhador informal durante nove meses, na cidade de Londres, na qual foi desenvolvida uma etnografia das relações sociais e de trabalho na comunidade de trabalhadores informais brasileiros. Num segundo momento, foram realizadas entrevistas em profundidade com o intuito de recuperar a trajetória de vida desses trabalhadores migrantes.

The changes caused by these builds have imposed pressure limits on the life and work of the fishermen, who have they have organized themselves to resist and to fight them. Thus, we try to understand how fishermen got togetherformation a social movement against other social subjectsthat representing different projects since the 1980s, a period that the written and oral sources allowed us to cover. In particular, we discuss how the Brazilian state has intervened in this historic process through practices and projects that impact on fishermen. Among the most relevant projects we approach the attempt to involve fishermen with the industrialization of fishing. In this direction, we discuss the invested capital, mediated by the state, about the life and work of fishermen creating mechanisms that limit andoppose their continued survival through fishing. Esta pesquisa discute as mudanças vividas pelos pescadores profissionais provocadas por transformações estruturais decorrentes da formação do lago de Itaipu e da abertura de um canal de navegação no Rio Paraná em Guaíra/PR. As transformações causadas por tais obras impuseram limites e pressões na vida e no trabalho dos pescadores profissionais daquele lugar, que se organizaram para resistir a elas. Desse modo, tentamos compreender como os pescadores se articularam em um movimento social e se relacionaram com e contra outros sujeitos sociais que representavam projetos distintos desde a década de 1980, período que as fontes escritas e orais nos permitiram cobrir. Em especial, discutimos como o Estado tem intervindo nesse processo histórico através de práticas e projetos que repercutem sobre os pescadores. Dentre os projetos mais relevantes abordo a tentativa de envolver os pescadores com a industrialização da atividade pesqueira. Nesse sentido, problematizamos as investidas do capital, mediadas pelo Estado, sobre a vida e o trabalho dos pescadores criando mecanismos que dificultam e limitam a continuidade de sua sobrevivência por meio da pesca.

The present work is aimed at exploiting the relationship between city and work, from the study of two democratic experiences: a self-managed joint effort (mutirão) and a community bank in the city of Sao Paulo. These two experiences show us that the social movements constantly need new ways of carrying out their actions in order to renew participation and strengthen the social organization towards the creation of a political community. Both the community bank, that broadens the range of the discussion on the endogenous circulation of money and on the possibility of higher consumption in the area, and the self-managed joint effort (mutirão), which intensifies the access to rights and to participation, are, however, experiences that struggle with huge difficulties and are perhaps weak as alternatives to the capitalist processes of sociability. In spite of that, they show themselves to be, in the very core of the system, capable of transforming previously precarious realities. Este trabalho tem como objetivo explorar a relação entre cidade e trabalho a partir da análise de duas experiências democráticas: um mutirão autogestionário e um banco comunitário na cidade de São Paulo. Essas duas experiências nos mostram que os movimentos sociais precisam constantemente de novas formas de atuação para renovar a participação e fortalecer a organização social na direção da formação de uma comunidade política. Tanto o Banco Comunitário, que amplia a discussão em torno da circulação endógena do dinheiro e da possibilidade de maior consumo na localidade, quanto o mutirão autogestionário, que intensifica o acesso aos direitos e à participação, são, no entanto, experiências que enfrentam enormes dificuldades e são talvez frágeis como alternativas aos processos de sociabilidade capitalista. Porém, vão se revelando, no interior mesmo do sistema, transformadoras de realidades antes precárias.

Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos This study discusses the participation of women workers in the ABC Metalworkers Union, approaching the persistence of gender asymmetries in base metallurgic and in the trade unionism. For the development of research, we attended the 2nd ABC Metallurgical Women Congress, in March 2010, analyzed union items publicized and conducted interviews with the SMABC´s women militants. We observed claims for equality on labour conditions and wages between women and men, affirmative action policies aimed at increasing the number of women hired for more valued positions in companies category, incentives to greater participation of women in political education program and the developing of a gender policy, quota systems to ensure a greater presence of them in all the union spheres, especially in positions of power to decide. Besides, women militants life stories allowed us to verify the challenge to the women workers reconcile marriage with engagement in the trade unionism. Despite the traditional defense of labor rights and citizenship, SMABC does not take on the gender relations as a priority, showing that the metallurgic culture is very resistant to changes in traditional patterns of women and men coexistence. Este estudo discute a participação das mulheres trabalhadoras no Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos do ABC, abordando a persistência de assimetrias de gênero na base metalúrgica e que também se refletem no espaço sindical. Para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa, acompanhamos o 2º Congresso das Mulheres Metalúrgicas, que aconteceu em março de 2010, analisamos materiais sindicais divulgados e realizamos entrevistas com as dirigentes do SMABC. Observamos reivindicações pela igualdade de condições de trabalho e salário entre mulheres e homens, por políticas de ação afirmativa que visem ampliar o número de mulheres contratadas para cargos mais valorizados nas empresas da categoria, por incentivos à maior participação das trabalhadoras nos cursos de formação sindical bem como pelo desenvolvimento de uma política de gênero na formação, por cotas que assegurem a maior presença delas em todas as instâncias sindicais, especialmente nos âmbitos que conferem poder de decisão. Além disso, as histórias de vida das militantes possibilitaram-nos verificar o desafio, que se apresenta às mulheres trabalhadoras em liderança política, no que se refere à possibilidade de conciliar vivência em família e engajamento sindical. A despeito de sua tradição em defesa dos direitos trabalhistas e do exercício amplo da cidadania, o SMABC não assume como pauta prioritária o tema das relações de gênero, o que demonstra que a cultura metalúrgica oferece grande resistência a mudanças nos padrões tradicionais de convivência entre mulheres e homens.

This study is related to the outsourcing process within bank sector from Brazilian economy, focusing on workeforce outsourcing whose contract is the worker. It is noteworthy that this capital strategy is applied both direct and indirect approach within support and core activities. In this context, this study aimed to analyze historically how the capital through its productive improvement, such as outsourcing, led to new ways of work control in order to reproduce the worker division and keep the capitalism within Caixa Econômica Federal CEF, during 2001 and 2009. Regarding the methodological aspects, it was carried out a literature review, including the analysis of secondary data such as CEF‟s Social Report and Luta Bancária newspaper. Besides that, outsourced workers and managers were interviewed at selling place of CEF. The analysis of the outsourcing of workforce coupled with the historical study on the work category and the work social division, it was observed that contradiction of current capitalism production manner has been reproducing through the production restructuring occurred in the late twentieth century. This is because that phenomenon sets in motion preterit precarious working practices such as outsourcing, can cause further division and conflict among workers. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES Este estudo versa sobre os processos de terceirização no segmento bancário da economia brasileira, no qual essa estratégia do capital aparece tanto sob o manto da terceirização direta como da indireta, assim como alcança desde as atividades de apoio dos bancos até as nucleares. Trata-se de uma investigação direcionada à terceirização da força de trabalho, cujos trabalhadores laboram no espaço físico da Caixa Econômica Federal. Nela se objetiva analisar historicamente como o capital, por meio dos seus incrementos produtivos, a exemplo da terceirização, imprime novas formas de dominação ao trabalho, de modo a reproduzir a divisão entre os trabalhadores e consequentemente manter a ordem capitalista, na Caixa Econômica Federal, no período compreendido entre os anos de 2001 a 2009. A pesquisa empírica se desenvolveu nos Pontos de Vendas do referido Banco e se valeu do recurso técnico da entrevista como meio de obter dados junto aos sujeitos da pesquisa. Além do aporte bibliográfico pertinente à temática, dados secundários como os Relatórios do Balanço Social da Caixa Econômica e o Jornal Luta Bancária também subsidiaram esta pesquisa. A análise da terceirização da força de trabalho bancária conjugada a uma reflexão histórica a despeito da categoria trabalho e da divisão social do trabalho constata que as contradições do modo de produção capitalista vigente se reproduzem por meio da reestruturação produtiva ocorrida no final do século XX. Isto porque tal fenômeno coloca em movimento pretéritas práticas de trabalho precário, como a terceirização, capaz de provocar ainda mais a cisão e o conflito entre os trabalhadores.

The aim of this work is to study the policy of professional qualification in the state of Paraíba based on the National Plan of Qualification and the Territorial Plan of Qualification - PNQ/PlanTeQ, in the period between 2003 and 2010, trying to investigate, mainly, the capacity these programmes have to simultaneously suit the immediate necessities of professional and orientational qualification to the citizen formation of the subjects, in a context of unemployment in the labour world. In face of the conjuncture of transformations in the dimensions of politics and work since 1990, marked by the expansion of the globalization process of the economy, by the flexible production and by the reform of the state, new social demands are now part of the social questions with the increase of unemployment and poverty. The public policy of employment needed to be reformulated in a way to intensify its role in the intermediation and the professional formation of the workers, as an strategy to face the problem of social exclusion by work. The PNQ/PlanTeQ-Paraíba considers the professional qualification as a right to citizenship and public policy, and this is why it is pertinent to analyse how the students percieve themselves in this process and if the courses offered are forming workers with capacity and competence in conditions of insertion in the labour market, at the same time it proposes to form citizens who are critical and conscious of their place in society. It is in this context of redefinition of the public policies, more specifically with the PNQ and the PlanTeQ-Paraíba, that the analysis of the basis of the conception and objectives of professional qualification is proposed, especially on how it articulates the professional qualification with the citizen formation; to identify the main actors involved in the construction and management of the PlanTeQ-Paraíba and the relations of the forces established among them; and also to investigate the processes to define plans of action of the PlanTeQ-Paraíba in relation to the conditions of execution, focusing on the contents to be dealt with and the profile of the people responsible for its execution, principally considering the ways to make the professional qualification and the citizen formation compatible. The main methodological resources used were the bibliographical and documental formation, observation of participants and field research. To the latter, interviews were done with some of the various subjects who act in the management and execution of the PlanTeQ in Paraíba, observations in the meetings of CETE-Paraíba and the participation in professional qualification courses, besides the realization of a focus group with students of a professionalization course, that made the reunion of a rich qualitative material possible, privileging the critical analysis of objective and subjective elements which permeate the deployment of PlanTeQ in the state. A perspective of apprehending the public policy as a process in construction, with advances, permanence or setbacks, in which the struggle and dispute of power and social places is common is adopted. To be expressed as a right to citizenship and to be able to guarantee its effectiveness, we understand that the policy of professional qualification must be an integral part of a wider project of social insertion, being tuned with a set of social policies to, besides giving the professional formation, make the universal rights and the possibility of a social construction to an active citizenship possible to the subject. Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES Este trabalho tem como propósito estudar a política de qualificação profissional no estado da Paraíba a partir do Plano Nacional de Qualificação e do Plano Territorial de Qualificação - PNQ/PlanTeQ, no período compreendido entre 2003 e 2010, buscando investigar, principalmente, a capacidade desses programas atenderem, simultaneamente, às necessidades imediatas de qualificação profissional e de orientação para a formação cidadã dos sujeitos, num contexto de desinserções no mundo do trabalho. Diante da conjuntura de transformações, na dimensão da política e do trabalho, a partir dos anos de 1990, marcada pela expansão do processo de globalização da economia, pela produção flexível e pela reforma do Estado, novas demandas sociais passaram a compor a questão social com o aumento do desemprego e da pobreza. A política pública de emprego precisou ser reformulada de modo a intensificar o seu papel na intermediação e na formação profissional dos trabalhadores, como estratégia para encarar o problema da exclusão social pelo trabalho. O PNQ/PlanTeQ-Paraíba considera a qualificação profissional como um direito de cidadania e política pública, daí, ser pertinente analisar como os educandos se percebem nesse processo e se os cursos oferecidos vêm formando trabalhadores com capacidade e competência em condições de inserção no mercado de trabalho, ao mesmo tempo em que se propõem formar cidadãos críticos e conscientes do seu lugar na sociedade. É nesse contexto de redefinição das políticas públicas, mais propriamente com o PNQ e o PlanTeQ-Paraíba, que se propõe analisar as bases da concepção e os objetivos da qualificação profissional, especialmente sobre como articula a qualificação profissional com a formação cidadã; identificar os principais atores envolvidos na construção e condução do PlanTeQ-Paraíba e as relações de força estabelecidas entre eles; e, investigar os processos de definição dos planos de ação do PlanTeQ-Paraíba quanto às condições de execução, centrando-se sobre os conteúdos a serem trabalhados e o perfil dos responsáveis por sua execução considerando, principalmente, os modos de compatibilizar a qualificação profissional e a formação cidadã. Como principais recursos metodológicos utilizaram-se a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, observação participante e pesquisa de campo. Para esta última, realizaram-se entrevistas com alguns dos vários sujeitos que atuam na gestão e na execução do PlanTeQ na Paraíba, a observação nos encontros do CETE-Paraíba e a participação em cursos de qualificação profissional, além da realização de um grupo focal com educandos de um curso profissionalizante, o que possibilitou reunir um rico material qualitativo, privilegiando uma análise crítica dos elementos objetivos e subjetivos que permeiam a implantação do PlanTeQ no estado. Adota- se a perspectiva de apreender a política pública como um processo em construção, com avanços, permanências ou retrocessos, em que lhe é próprio a luta e a disputa de poderes e de lugares sociais. Para expressar-se como um direito de cidadania e poder garantir a sua efetividade, entende-se que a política de qualificação profissional deve ser parte integrante de um projeto mais amplo de inserção social, estando sintonizada com o conjunto das políticas sociais para que, além da formação profissional, ao sujeito também sejam garantidos os direitos universais e a possibilidade de construção social por uma cidadania ativa.

Este trabalho de dissertação analisa, sociologicamente, o sentido do trabalho para o (a) jovem aprendiz, em Goiânia. O objetivo foi compreender os diferentes significados que o trabalho pode representar para esse (a) jovem. E conhecer a realidade social que envolve sua vida e seu cotidiano: o mundo do trabalho, da escola, da família, a socialização, sonhos e obrigações. Como também a representação que este (a) e a sociedade brasileira faz do trabalho. A pesquisa revelou que o trabalho para a maioria dos jovens representa uma transformação em suas vidas, pois por meio dele consome, contribui com a renda familiar e passa a se sentir valorizada perante a família e a sociedade. Apesar de se sentir prejudicado (a) em relação ao pouco tempo que lhe resta para os estudos e lazer o (a) jovem se diz satisfeito (a) em trabalhar como aprendiz. This dissertation examines sociologically, the meaning of work for (a) young apprentice, in Goiania. The objective was to understand the different meanings that can represent the work for this (a) young. And know the social reality that surrounds his life and everyday life: the world of work, school, family, socialization, dreams and obligations. But also that this representation (a) and Brazilian society does work. The research revealed that work for the majority of young people represents a transformation in their lives, because through it consumes, contributes to family income and starts to feel valued within the family and society. Despite feeling hurt (a) in relation to the little time you have left for the studies and leisure (a) satisfied young man is said to work as apprentice.

This thesis deals with changes in the world of work and has as its main object of analysis the social relationship among the on-line employment agencies (ONEAGs) and their users, in Brazil. It s a study about the Information Technology impacts, specifically the internet, with respect to the groups and individuals involved in the work s reorganization turned a lucrative product. I will use post-modern theory as opposed to denotative statements, merely descriptive, both in the analysis of the data and in writing form. Alongside the quantitative analysis I will propose a critical of the empirical data, based on a focus-post-modern discourse, introducing characters (personages) and dialogues that will help to question the status of Science and its legitimacy face contemporary social metamorphosis. É um estudo sobre a aplicação e o impacto das tecnologias da informação, especificamente a internet, em relação aos envolvidos na reorganização do trabalho, onde vagas de empregos se tornaram lucrativa mercadoria. A teoria pós-moderna como contraposição aos enunciados denotativos, meramente descritivos, tanto na análise dos dados como na escrita é o que se poderia chamar de choque epistemológico . Paralelamente às análises quantitativas é proposta a crítica aos dados empíricos, com base em um enfoque discursivo pósmoderno com a introdução de personagens e diálogos que ajudaram a questionar o status da ciência e sua legitimação diante das metamorfoses sociais na contemporaneidade. Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos The research had as objective to study how the increase on the number of women labor force has affected the division of the domestic work and the construction of the masculine social identity based in the provider paper, through the workers' perception on this change. This study examines the re-meaning or reiteration of the gender identities, having as cross section the generation insertion in the world of the work. Forty two metallurgic workers of São Carlos, SP (being thirty men and twelve women) had been interviewing, recovering the trajectories of life and work and their gender attributions, in the industrial and domestic space. The choice of the metallurgic sector elapsed for consisting in a space of masculine work historically recognized, being this profile changed, slowly, in last the two decades. It was possible to verify a generation cross section that delimits the position of the workers in relation to the work division and their expectation on their gender identity. It has been noticed that the oldest workers (with more than 40 years old), still see in the formal job market (with steady work and labor register) the privileged way of access in the labor and familiar structuring and the construction and valuation of the masculine identity. Presence of a speech of bigger equality between men and women was verified in workers between 30 to 39 years old. Finally, it was observed that young workers (until 29 years old) have greater propensity to insert themselves in the logic of transformations of flexible capitalism, marked for the instability in the labor trajectories. This context has influenced some changes in the gender perception in relation to the sexual division of the work and the biggest dubiousness of the construction of the masculine identity entailed to the work A pesquisa teve como objetivo estudar como a feminização crescente do mercado de trabalho tem afetado a divisão do trabalho doméstico e a construção da identidade social masculina baseada no papel de provedor, através da percepção dos trabalhadores sobre essa mudança. Examina a resignificação ou reiteração das identidades de gênero, tendo como recorte a inserção geracional no mundo do trabalho. Foram entrevistados quarenta e dois trabalhadores metalúrgicos da cidade de São Carlos SP (sendo trinta homens e doze mulheres), recuperando suas trajetórias de vida e trabalho bem como suas atribuições de gênero, no espaço fabril e doméstico. A escolha do setor metalúrgico decorreu por constituir-se, historicamente, num espaço de trabalho masculino por excelência, sendo que este perfil tem mudado lentamente nas últimas duas décadas. Foi possível verificar um recorte geracional que delimita a posição dos trabalhadores em relação à divisão do trabalho e sua expectativa em relação à sua identidade de gênero. Notouse que os trabalhadores mais velhos (com mais de 40 anos de idade), ainda vêem no mercado de trabalho formal, estável e com carteira assinada, a via de acesso privilegiada na estruturação laboral/familiar e na construção e valorização da identidade masculina. Entre os trabalhadores na faixa dos 30 aos 39 anos de idade verificou-se a presença de um discurso de maior igualdade entre homens e mulheres. Finalmente, observou-se que trabalhadores jovens (com até 29 anos de idade) têm maior propensão a se inserir de maneira mais ampla na lógica de transformações do capitalismo flexibilizado, marcada pela instabilidade nos trajetos laborais. Esse contexto tem influenciado algumas mudanças na percepção de gênero em relação à divisão sexual do trabalho e o maior questionamento da construção da identidade masculina vinculada ao trabalho

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) No abstract Este trabalho busca analisar a criação e o funcionamento das cooperativas de produção que vêm sendo implantadas em municípios do interior de alguns Estados do Nordeste, no atual quadro de mundialização do capital e da nova divisão internacional do trabalho. A implantação dessas cooperativas vem se dando através, principalmente, da parceria entre empresas e Estados e faz parte de projetos de desenvolvimento local que têm, por sua vez, na interiorização, uma de suas principais características e, como objetivo central propalado, a atração de investimentos para essas regiões. Importa, assim, verificar por que essas novas formas de organização da produção, caracterizadas por relações de trabalho precárias, vêm ganhando espaço como alternativa à crise do assalariamento formal: o que elas representam em termos tanto de autonomia para os trabalhadores quanto de geração de emprego e renda? Para tanto, realizamos uma análise comparativa entre duas dessas cooperativas que, apesar de diferirem no tocante à forma como foram implantadas, guardam elementos comuns estruturais, que são essenciais para a compreensão do fenômeno. Buscamos, também, verificar como os trabalhadores estavam vivenciando esta nova experiência.
