The article reports that the researchers at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California have successfully taken high resolution photographs of the transformation of nanoscale structures. According to the researchers, discerning the brief behavior of a chemical reaction, structural deformation or phase transformation allows them to understand the fundamentals of chemistry, biology and material science. It mention that the lab's dynamic transmission electron microscope made it possible to take the photographs.
