2. The Impact of Emerging Technology in Physics over the Past Three Decades

- Abstract
As humanity reaches the 5.0 industrial revolution, education plays a critical role in boosting the quality of human resources. This paper reports bibliometric research on emerging TiP during 1993-2022 in the educational field to analyse its development on any level of education during the last three decades. This study employed a Scopus database. The findings are that the trend of TiP publication in educational fields has tended to increase every year during the past three decades and conference paper became the most published document type, the USA is the country which produces the most publications; "Students" being the most occurrences keyword and total link strength. The publication of the TiP is ranked to the Quartile 1, which implies that a publication with the cited performance is a publication with credibility because the publisher has a good reputation. Researchers can find the topics most relevant to other metadata sources such as Web of Science, Publish, and Perish.

3. Twenty-Five Years Travelling the Publication Road: The 'Profile' Journal Life Story

This article presents the life story of "Profile." The story is based on an ethnographic case study that aimed to understand the viewpoints of Profile's new writers and reviewers regarding the role of scientific journals in fostering communities in the knowledge society. To gather information, I relied on personal reflections from my experience as the creator and editor of the journal, along with documentary evidence (published issues, regularly collected statistics, editorial workflows, and communications with editorial teams and various bodies of Universidad Nacional de Colombia, which funds the publication). The story illustrates the inception, development, and primary challenges that need to be addressed to ensure its continuity.

4. A Bibliometric Analysis of Articles on Bibliometric Studies in Science Education

- Abstract
This study aims at a detailed analysis of bibliometric studies in science education through articles published in peer-reviewed journals. The bibliometric network analysis performed on 846 articles in the Scopus database was conducted on the bibliographic data obtained using the VOSviewer program. In the citation analysis phase, the bibliometrix program, Lotka's law and author impact ratio measurements were used. The results obtained provide trends in the field of science education and important clues for researchers. According to the results obtained, it was determined that the most studies were carried out in 2022, according to years. According to the keyword analysis, it showed that the most frequently used keywords in articles were "education", "research", "bibliometrics", "citation analysis". Looking at the most frequently used terms, the terms "research productivity", "pandemic", "h index", "average" are respectively according to their high relevance scores. It has emerged that the most cited countries are the Spain, America, China, Brazil respectively. "Scientometrics", "Sustainability (Switzerland)", "Computers and Education", "Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology" are the most cited journals in studies.

5. Organizational Unlearning: A Bibliometric Study and Visualization Analysis via CiteSpace

- Abstract
Coping with evolution and the changes it brings to the workplace remains a major concern for organizational leaders. This study explores the hotspots, trends, and future directions of the field of organizational unlearning to complement the extant research. A bibliometric analysis based on the literature collected by the Web of Science database was used to categorize or cluster different authors, their countries, institutions and different keywords (cooperation among authors, co-citation, co-occurrence of keywords), to discover their uniqueness or determine the relationship between them while using CiteSpace software to draw knowledge graphs and then results. This study advances the debate on sustainable knowledge acquisition in organizations and its interaction with organizational unlearning. It directly aids the process of radical change in workplace learning and training models and provides a clear view of the previous literature on organizational unlearning by laying a solid foundation for future research in the field of learning.

6. A Bibliometric Analysis of Research on Self-Regulated Learning: From the Beginning to 2021

- Abstract
The present study explores the self-regulated learning (SRL) research published in English or Turkish language journals included in the Web of Science database from the beginning to 2021 via bibliometric analysis. The 2197 articles that met the eligibility criteria were included in the study. The results reveal that the research on SRL has been carried out mostly by scholars from the USA and has gained increased attention since the 2000s. The three most influential scholars of self-regulated research are Chia-Wen Tsai, Philip H. Winne, and Roger Azevedo; however, the two top documents by local citations belong to Barry J. Zimmerman (2008) and Paul R. Pintrich (2004) in the study. The analyzed studies cited the Journal of Educational Psychology and Contemporary Educational Psychology most. The results reveal that motivation, metacognition, self-efficacy, and learning strategies are the keywords that most frequently occur and co-occur in the analyzed studies along with SRL. The trend topics of SRL research have been learning analytics, flipped classrooms, and MOOCs since 2018.

7. Bibliometric Analysis of Research on Learning Analytics Based on Web of Science Database

- Abstract
The purpose of this study is to reveal the status of scientific publications on learning analytics from the past to the present in terms of bibliometric indicators. A total of 659 publications on the subject between the years 2011-2021 were found in the search using keywords after various screening processes. Publications were revealed through descriptive and bibliometric analyses. In the study, the distribution of publications by years and citation numbers, the most published journals on the subject, the most frequently cited publications, the most prolific countries, institutions and authors were examined. In addition, the cooperation between the countries, authors and institutions that publish on the subject was mentioned and a network structure was created for the relations between the keywords. It has been determined that research in this field has progressed and the number of publications and citations has increased over the years. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, it was concluded that the most influential countries in the field of learning analytics are the USA, Australia and Spain. The University of Edinburgh and Open University UK ranked first in terms of the number of citations and Monash University as the most prolific institutions in terms of the number of publications. According to the keyword co-occurrence analysis, educational data mining, MOOCS, learning analytics, blended learning, social network analysis keywords stand out in the field of learning analytics.

8. Examining the Relationship between TPACK and STEAM through a Bibliometric Study

This research is a bibliometric study that focuses on publications containing both terms "technological pedagogical content knowledge" (TPACK or TPCK) and "science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics" (STEAM). The former addresses knowledge that teachers are expected to gain, whereas the latter addresses a new integrating subject field. Both terms dominate contemporary education research, especially in relation to technology and its impact on education. These two terms have been researched individually by bibliometricians. The aim of this research is to examine articles that combine these terms, as there seems to be a lack of such studies. With the help of the Scopus platform, 2,608 articles published since 2007 were collected and analyzed.

9. A Bibliometric Analysis of Literature on Attitudes in STEM Education in 2008-2022

- Abstract
This study employed a bibliometric analysis of research on attitudes in STEM education to identify patterns and themes within scholarly publications to address a research gap in the current literature. The publications indexed in the SCOPUS database on attitudes and STEM were analyzed to collect data. 173 articles were chosen for analysis. Bibliometric analysis revealed an upward trend in research publications between 2008-2022, with notable increases in 2013 and 2018 and between 2018 and 2022. Curtin University was the institution that contributed the most to the literature during this period. The results also showed that institutions from Australia, Taiwan, and the United States contributed equally to research on attitudes and STEM. Another finding is that the United States had the most publications on attitudes and STEM. The International Journal of Science Education was cited the most, followed closely by The Journal of Research in Science Teaching and Science Education. Barry J. Fraser and Jaquelynne S. Eccles are authors who were cited more than one hundred times in the publications. Based on the findings, implications for further studies are drawn.

10. Teacher Educators: A Bibliometric Mapping of an Emerging Research Area

There has been increasing research attention on teacher educators in recent years; however, the dynamics of this research area have not been examined through bibliometric analysis of the relevant studies. This study aimed to perform a systematic mapping of the trends in research studies on teacher educators through the bibliometric data obtained from the Web of Science database. The bibliometric analysis led to four substantial findings: (1) research on teacher educators is an emerging field of educational studies that have experienced a progressive increase since the 2000s; (2) scientific publications in this field are produced by a small group of researchers from the USA, Australia, Canada, several European, and few Asian countries through collaborative research networks; (3) research on teacher educators is primarily spread in general teacher education journals; (4) the main topics regarding teacher educator research area are: professional development, professional identity, works, and practices.

11. Education in Emergencies: Mapping the Global Education Research Landscape in the Context of the COVID-19 Crisis

- Abstract
This study uses an education in emergencies (EiE) lens and a scientometric approach to examine the educational research landscape during the COVID-19 pandemic by analyzing 95,628 publications indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection database from 2020 to February 2023. It employed descriptive and network approaches to map growth trajectory, productivity, social structure, conceptual structure, and research methodologies used in the retrieved sources. The findings reveal a steady increase in publications on education and COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic. However, the majority of productive countries and institutions are in the Global North, with limited representation from the Global South, except for China. English is the dominant language in publications, and funding agencies from English-speaking countries are the most active. The most frequently occurring keywords revolve around performativity, institutions, teaching methodologies, attitudes, and experiences, while keywords related to social justice are a peripheral focus. Publications mainly focus on technical and methodological aspects of education, such as online teaching and learning. Most productive journals represent a mix of foci and are not limited to distance learning. The extracted literature showcases diversity in research methodologies used. Future studies should use systematic reviews on narrow topics to evaluate the effects of the pandemic, inform decision-making, enhance education system resilience, and envision a more equitable education system. The study's contributions are notable for its unique EiE perspective, comprehensive scope, extensive data extraction, and meticulous examination of research design, effectively addressing limitations in bibliometric software.

12. Bibliometric and Visual Insights into Higher Education Informatization: A Systematic Review of Research Output, Collaboration, Scope, and Hot Topics

Higher education informatization (HEI) is an interdisciplinary field that examines the use and integration of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in higher education. This paper provides a bibliometric and visual analysis of the research trends, patterns, and topics in this field. Using the Web of Science database, the authors selected and analyzed 199 SCI and SSCI papers on HEI published from 2000 to 2023 by VOSviewer and CiteSpace software. The results indicate that the publication volume of HEI research has grown significantly in recent years. The author network shows the collaboration and contribution of different researchers and institutions, while the journal network reveals the multidisciplinary nature and scope of the field. The keyword network and the burst keyword analysis identify the main research themes and the emerging hot topics in HEI. The co-citation network of sources illustrates the theoretical and methodological foundations and influences of the field. The paper concludes with some implications and suggestions for future HEI research.

13. Twenty Years of Emotional Intelligence in Academia: A Methodological Review

- Abstract
Emotional intelligence is a way to enhance workforce capability in the 21st century. Psychological well-being is vital for shaping faculty and student relationships in the educational sector. This article aims to provide an updated methodological review of emotional intelligence studies in academia. This study investigates two decades of emotional intelligence concepts and theories they have used for analysis in numerous studies in higher educational academia. A detailed examination of the method and result of the study was found and critical of the overall state of knowledge on emotional intelligence. The documents are extracted from the Scopus database, and after inclusion and exclusion, 43 empirical papers were selected for analysis. From these 43 articles, we extracted the scale and instruments used in the earlier studies. The literature has proven a substantial linkage between variables such as e-learning, training, and development. Finally, the findings suggest that the most used theories are Daniel Goleman's theory, trait emotional theory, and the bar on model. Moreover, most of the studies are conducted in Spain, the UK, and the USA. Deep learning, neurodiversity, and cognitive ability might motivate the educational sector and technological advancement in future research.

14. Research Trends and Patterns on Emotional Intelligence in Education: A Bibliometric and Knowledge Mapping during 2012-2021

- Abstract
The increasing rate of publications on emotional intelligence, especially regarding student learning, underscores the need to study research trends in this domain. This research utilizes bibliometric and science mapping analyses to generate an overview of research on emotional intelligence in education, using data sourced from SCOPUS. The terms "emotional intelligence," "teaching," and "education" were used as keywords for data search and retrieval. Data were analysed using various bibliometric indicators such as the number of publications, citations, collaborations, co-citation, and keywords. While descriptive statistics were used to analyse bibliometric indicators, bibliometric network analyses using VOSviewer were carried out for science mapping analyses. The findings indicate that while publication counts surged between 2012 and 2021, average citations remained constant. Despite Western predominance, Asia significantly contributed to research output. Notable collaboration was seen among Asian, Balkan, and European nations, but limited among individual authors. The keyword analysis informed major themes such as leadership skills, training, medical education, entrepreneurship, personality, special needs, and psychosocial aspects. Summarily, emotional intelligence in education has emerged as a globally acknowledged research area, and this work elucidates its thematic knowledge, offering insights for prospective researchers.

15. A Bibliometric Analysis of Articles on Realistic Mathematics Education Published between 2000-2021

Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is one of the topics that was introduced about fifty years ago and has been studied continuously since then. The purpose of this study is to bibliometrically analyze the articles on the subject ofRME. Using the keyword "realistic mathematics education," 1056 articles were found related to the subject area of RME, which were scanned in the Scopus database in the "Social Science" publication type between 2000-2021. Retrieved articles were analyzed through the web interface page directed by bibliometrix, the R-Studio program package. With the analysis made, the following sub-titles were found: the number of articles produced by years, the authors and journals that published the most articles on the subject area, the most cited articles on a global basis, the annual average number of citations, the productivity of the authors over time, the citation burst values of the authors, the countries of the responsible authors and collaboration tendencies of these countries in terms of articles, word cloud, word tree map, collaboration network of authors, and joint citation network of journals. The results revealed that researchers' interest in the subject increased after 2012, and articles on RME were mostly published by three major journals, including Journal on Mathematics Education, Journal of Mathematical Behavior and Educational Studies in Mathematics. In addition, it has been determined that the authors with the most articles on RME were Zulkardi Z., Suparman S. and R. I. I. Putri, and the countries that published the most articles were USA, Indonesia and Netherlands. As a result of the relevant results, inferences were made for RME.

16. On the Widespread Impact of the Most Prolific Countries in Special Education Research: A Bibliometric Analysis

The aim of this study is to identify the most prolific countries in the field of special education and to discuss the widespread impact of their papers by taking into account the country's h-index. Through a bibliometric analysis, the data were collected in the Web of Science Core Collection category "Education, Special" in the Social Science Citation Index during 2011-2020. The 25 most prolific countries in the field of special education were determined in terms of paper productivity, and it was seen that the leading country was undisputedly the USA (54.42%). Meanwhile, a strong positive correlation was found between the h-index and the number of papers published by the countries (r=0.864). On the other hand, when the ranking in terms of the number of papers was reconfigured by the h-index, it was relatively changed. The possible reasons for this change for the countries with the most changing rankings were discussed by considering some definitive criteria such as the journal quartiles, the percentage of international and domestic, and the percentage of open access papers. This study reports a positive correlation between the quality and quantity in the field of special education for the publications of countries. It has been shown that where the positive correlation deviates, then especially, the journal quartiles, the percentage of international collaboration and the percentage of open access papers have a significant effect. The bibliometric findings may be useful to enrich the discussion about the widespread impact of papers and debate whether the use of h-index is acceptable for cross-national comparisons.

17. Publication and Characteristics of Qualitative Research in School Psychology Journals between 2006 and 2021

To understand the evolution and current status of qualitative research in School Psychology, we reviewed 4,346 articles published across seven school psychology journals between 2006 and 2021. The bibliometric analysis indicates that publication of qualitative research has increased over the years, but remains small (3%) when seen against the total volume of journal publications. Less than 5% of articles in all but one journal were qualitative. The most commonly explored topic was diversity, equity, and social justice accounting for 23% of the qualitative articles. In total, 55% of the studies were conducted in the United States. Although many studies did not specify participants' race and gender, the most commonly reported research participants were K-12 students, female, White, and from the United States. We discuss these findings and provide recommendations.

18. Bibliometric Analysis of Game-Based Researches in Educational Research

This research aims to conduct a bibliometric study to describe how game-based educational research is structured and how it has evolved over time. For this purpose, bibliometric analysis has been used to analyze 4980 publications indexed by the Elsevier SCOPUS database between 1967 and May 2021. The related publications were evaluated by analyzing co-authorship, co-occurrence, and citation by considering author, keyword, country, journal, university, and publication variables. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, it was concluded that the United States was leading the field and significantly publishing more studies. Top performing organizations were in Taiwan and the United States. According to the keyword co-occurrence analysis, "game-based learning" was the most used keyword followed by "serious games" and "gamification". Co-authorship status results show that collaboration between researchers in the field was not high and the number of researchers in co-author groups was small. It was found that the most influential research was related to literature review on games and the effectiveness of games on motivation or learning and Computers & Education was the most published and cited journal in game-based educational research.

Assessment is critical in postsecondary education, as it is at all levels. Assessments are classified into four types: diagnostic, summative, evaluative, and formative. Recent trends in assessment have migrated away from summative to formative evaluations. Formative evaluations help students develop expertise and concentrate their schedules, ease student anxiety, instill a feeling of ownership in students as they go, and confirm the module's subject notion. Online formative assessment (OFA) emerged as a result of the convergence of formative and computer-assisted assessment research. Bibliometric analyses provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of a study topic across a particular time period. We used a PRISMA-compliant bibliometric method. The Scopus database was searched for BibTex-formatted publication data. In total, 898 studies were analyzed. According to the results, "Assessment & Evaluation in Higher Education" and "Computers & Education" are the most influential sources. RWTH Aachen University and Universitat Oberta De Catalunya are the most effective institutions. The red cluster includes terms associated with higher education and evaluation. The word "e-assessment, e-learning, assessment, moodle" appears in the green cluster. This group is quite influential yet has a low centrality. The highest percentage is 79.2 for "online assessment". The subject is comprised of three components: "distance learning", "accessibility", and "assessment design". The most important topics were "e-assessment", "higher education", and "online learning". According to the country participation network, the USA and UK were the two main centers.

20. Science Mapping for Nutrition Education in Sports Recovery Research: A Bibliometric Analysis

This study aims to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the literature on sports nutrition as recovery published between 1964 and 2022. This study illustrates the structure and trends in sports nutrition publications by using scientific mapping and analyzing publication performance. This study identified the contributions of authors, journals, countries, and widely cited articles. While there was no massive expansion in the first year of publication, the results show that high growth emerged in the 2010s. Several countries have made significant contributions to recovery research in sports nutrition. European countries account for the majority of publications on this subject. Latin American and Asian countries are also keeping an eye on the study's growth. Another finding is that various multidisciplinary publishers publish articles about sports nutrition. The International Journal of Sports Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism, on the other hand, is the journal that publishes the most articles. Burke L.M. has established himself as a prolific writer in this field, producing many documents and total citations. Several keywords have large nodes associated with their frequency of occurrence. The keyword relationship provides information about the relationship between keywords frequently appearing in one study. Visualizations of research trends are presented to provide an up-to-date reference guide for academics, revealing critical research gaps and potential research avenues for future studies to advance the discipline's consolidation.

21. A Bibliometric Analysis of out of School Learning Environments: Science Mapping

The aim of this study is to understand and analyze the status, development and current trends of out-of-school learning by evaluating scientific studies published in the field of out-of-school learning environments in terms of various parameters. The bibliometric analysis method and Web of Science (WoS) database were used to carry out the research and achieve the determined goals. The research was limited to the years 1982-2021 and 3101 studies were evaluated. In this study scientific studies published on out-of-school learning were examined within the framework of the annual number of publications, keyword analysis, citation analysis, active researchers, journals and countries. In the results of the study, it was determined that the publication trend about out-ofschool learning started in 2008 and has continued until today, with the most references occurring in the last 10 years. In addition, it was determined that the most cited author was "Nada Dabbagh", the co-author was "Micheal Eraut", the active journal was "Educational Technology & Society", the most cited and co-cited journal was "Computer & Education" and the active collaborator country was "United States". In this context, it is recommended that researchers increase their studies depending on needs. Furthermore, with the disappearance of the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic over time, it is thought that many studies can be conducted in out-of-school learning environments.

22. Investigating Research Trends on Digital Storytelling: A Bibliometric and Visualized Analysis

Digital storytelling is a method often preferred in the education process in terms of its appeal to different senses by creating a multimedia environment, and it may also be used in the development of language skills as it often includes both textual and audio elements. The current study investigates the research trends of digital storytelling, which is one of the methods recently preferred for education and for Turkish language skills development, through an examination of the Web of Science (WoS) database. The study was designed as a descriptive study. Data obtained from 545 academic works published within the context of the study were subjected to bibliometric analysis according to six categories; number of articles and citations, most-cited articles, most-used keywords, most influential countries, most influential institutions, and most influential journals. The study also presents bibliometric network maps of the most-cited articles, most-used keywords, as well as the most influential countries, institutions, and journals. The bibliometric analyses and network maps were performed using the VOSviewer_1.6.16 program. The results of the study show that digital storytelling is a method currently preferred in education. It is thought that examining the global trends of studies undertaken on digital storytelling in education will help to guide researchers looking to work on this subject in Turkish language education or in other fields of education.

23. Invisible Borders in Educational Technology Research? A Comparative Analysis

Educational research is reflective of the nature and structure of national and regional education systems and their historical evolution. Educational technology research, as an area within educational research, reflects this case particularly prominently. Although individual countries and regions have varying research traditions, the publication of research in English as the scientific "lingua franca" can lead to missing nuances in terminology, which is often not reflected upon. Despite this, the exploration of research from different countries can still uncover diverse topical clusters. This study aims to identify the research topics in educational technology research in three countries (Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom), each with their own research traditions, through the terms used. To this end, a bibliometric analysis of 3034 article abstracts and keywords from 29 English-language Web of Science journals in the field of education and educational research was conducted, with a focus on educational technology. In addition, the quantitative findings are comparatively analysed by considering the corresponding cultural clusters. Main findings include diverse research foci in the three countries, also showing that distinct research traditions are still present, despite using English as "lingua franca." Therefore, research articles written in English by non-English authors often do not reflect the same meanings in each country, despite using the same words. The conclusions reflect upon the need to establish ways of understanding the traditions behind those research articles and build collaborative systems to illustrate nuances in this research.

- Abstract
Background/purpose: The current study aims to analyze the thematic structures and trends of scientific publications that examine the relationship between the COVID-19 pandemic and education, while presenting a roadmap for future research on this topic. Materials/methods: The data were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) bibliographic database by identifying the publications that examine the relationship between the COVID-19 pandemic and education, then were analyzed using bibliometric methodology and content analysis. VOSviewer, GraphPad softwares, and visualization maps were used to analyze the data and to present the findings. Results: The results of the study show that publications examining the relationship between the COVID-19 pandemic and education focused on "online education" and "teacher education," while the countries that contributed the most to publications on this issue were USA, United Kingdom, Canada, and Spain. It was determined that most publications preferred the "theoretical model" and the majority of the research data were obtained through "scale/interview forms." Furthermore, the findings of this study revealed that during the COVID-19 pandemic period, the editorial/refereeing processes of the articles submitted to academic journals were carried out very quickly and the articles were published unusually quickly. Conclusion: This study indicated that the majority of scientific studies on COVID-19 are focused on the field of health, and that there is limited edition research on COVID-19-related education. To the best of the authors' knowledge, the current study is the first research article in the international literature to examine the thematic structures and trends of scientific publications on the relationship between solely education and COVID-19 through bibliometric and content analysis; and contributes to the knowledge base on COVID-19-related education by mapping the existing knowledge.

- Abstract
Literacy is a term generally used for adults and young people. Basically, it is an acquisition that includes the process of reading, writing and understanding symbols in any language. While this concept, whose definition and scope has expanded over time, refers to people who can only say their names in the past, today it refers to individuals who can perform more functional skills. What is expected from today's literacy, which is also referred to as functional literacy, is not just saying the name, but also understanding what you read and harmonizing these information with the environment. It is critical to create texts that are easier to interpret, especially for poor readers and individuals learning foreign languages, in today's world where reading comprehension and correct use of information have become extremely important. In this context, the text simplification method, which is one of the text modification methods, comes to the fore. In accordance with these information, this current study aims to presents the bibliometric analysis of articles on text simplification, which are published in journals indexed in Scopus database in the field of social sciences. The data set of the study consists of 194 articles on text simplification published in journals scanned in the field of social sciences and scopus database. These 194 articles were examined in terms of different variables. The research is generally a descriptive study and document analysis method was used as a method. In the data analysis stage of the research, VOSviewer visualization software version 1.6.16 was used. According to the results obtained from the study, the most articles on text simplification were written in 2020 (f: 21), most cited article is "Interpretation as Abduction" (f: 363) written by J.R Hobbs, M.E Stickel, D.E. Appelt and P. Martin. Findings obtained from the research were shared in the form of tables, graphs and figures. The most common keywords that preffered by authors is "Simplification" (f: 18). The most cited institution is "Artifical Intelligence Center" (f: 363). The most cited journal is "Artifical Intelligence" (f: 363). The most published country is United States of America (f: 30). The most cited country is United States of America (f: 863). All findings obtained from the research were shared as tables and figures in the findings section.

26. Scoping Review on Research at the Boundary between Learning and Working: A Bibliometric Mapping Analysis of the Last Decade

- Abstract
Context: The research field at the boundary between learning and working is multidimensional, fuzzy, dynamic, and characterized by high growth. A study that comprehensively maps and aggregates this research field is missing. Approach: Using tools of bibliometric analysis (bibliographic coupling, co-citation analysis and co-occurrence analysis), we map the research at the boundary between learning and working in a scoping review study. Our study considers peer-reviewed articles published between 2011 and 2020 and recorded in Scopus. In total, 5,474 articles are included in our analysis. Findings: Focusing on the intellectual structure of the research field, we identified the most publishing and most cited countries, journals, and authors, as well as latent collaborative networks among countries, journals, and authors. Furthermore, we used references and keywords to identify the conceptual structure of the research field and distinguished four types of conceptual clusters: motor clusters, highly developed and isolated clusters, emerging or declining clusters, and basic and transversal clusters. Conclusions: Research at the boundary between learning and working is highly parcelled out internationally. This scientific parcelling represents a disadvantage for exchanging ideas and accumulating knowledge. In addition to forming a parcelled field, a dividing line runs between centre, periphery and excluded countries and scientists. Especially scientists from developing countries and nations, economies in transition and those from post-conflict situations are excluded from the international discourse. This situation is more than just a disadvantage for the exchange of ideas and the accumulation of knowledge. Instead, there is a systematic bias in the research landscape here.

27. A Scientometric Analysis of Forty-Three Years of Research in Social Support in Education (1977-2020)

- Abstract
This scientometric study examines the overall research trends, publication and citation structures, authorship and collaboration patterns, bibliographic coupling, and productivity patterns in the field of social support in education. Bibliometric data consisting of 545 documents was retrieved from the Scopus database during a period of 43 years (1977-2020) on 1 January 2021. Data analysis was performed using various scientometric software including MS Excel, VOS Viewer, Biblioshiny, CiteSpace and ScientoPy. The results of the study revealed that the first publication on this topic appeared in 1977, however, the major increase was observed during 2017-2020, whereas the maximum number of publications (N = 57) in a single year was published in the year 2020. Similarly, the highest number of citations (n = 1002) were observed in the year 1995 with an average of 334 citations per document. The most productive countries were the United States (N = 194), the United Kingdom (N = 56), and Australia (N = 50 publications). Results further indicated that more than 50.7% of the research in the social support area was done in medicine. Overall, the findings of the study reveal that most of the research in the aforementioned field originated from the developed countries which can be related to the developments in the medical field. The study indicates the importance of social support in the educational context due to an increased trend of inclusion and diversity in the education field. This research is the first bibliometric study in the field of social support in education.

28. Bibliometric Analysis of Scientific Production on Nursing Research in the Web of Science

- Abstract
The fundamental pillars of nursing science--nursing care, management, and teaching and research--are in constant evolution. The adaptation of Spanish nursing to the European Higher Education Area has promoted nursing research. Over the past few years, several institutions have made official statements concerning the difficulty of finding teaching staff for university nursing degrees. This is closely linked to the production of research, given that minimum criteria must be met for university teacher accreditation. The goal of this study is to analyze scientific production in nursing, nursing research and teaching in The Web of Science in order to establish how this is progressing and to gain further insight into the field of academic nursing. A total of 34,497 documents were analyzed using the Bibliometrix software version 4.1.0. The results reveal an increase in nursing research over time. Most of this is published in English and mainly focuses on specific nursing areas, such as oncology or psychiatry. Spain occupies the eighth place worldwide in nursing research. In spite of this position, the data suggest that other factors are blocking the accreditation of university teachers of nursing in Spain. They also reflect the need to encourage nursing research in this setting in the future.

29. Bibliometric Analysis of the Research on Seamless Learning

- Abstract
Seamless learning has a significance that has been increasing in recent years, and an increasing number of studies on the subject in the literature draws attention. This study aimed to examine the research on seamless learning between 1996 and 2020 with the bibliometric analysis method. The Scopus database was used in the collection of the data. After various screening processes, a total of 389 publications were included in the analysis. Descriptive analysis and bibliometric analysis were used in the analysis of the data. The distribution of publications by years, types of publications, sources, and languages were analyzed in the research. Additionally, visual maps were created with analyses of co-author, cocitation, and co-word. At the end of the study, it was seen that there has been an increase in the number of publications from the past to the present, articles and papers were predominant, and that most of the studies were carried out in English. As a result of bibliometric analysis, it was concluded that the most efficient countries in seamless learning were the United Kingdom, the United States, and Singapore. Also, it has been determined that the National Institute of Education, Center for International Education and Exchange, and Kyushu University institutions are dominant. The most frequently mentioned authors cited in studies in many different fields are M. Sharples, L.-H. Wong, and H. Ogata. According to the co-word analysis, the keywords seamless learning, mobile learning, ubiquitous learning, and mobile-assisted language learning stand out in the field of seamless learning.

30. The Footprint of a Metrics-Based Research Evaluation System on Spain's Philosophical Scholarship: An Analysis of Researchers' Perceptions

- Abstract
The use of bibliometric indicators in research evaluation has a series of complex impacts on academic inquiry. These systems have gradually spread into a wide range of locations and disciplines, including the humanities. The aim of this study is to examine their effects as perceived by philosophy and ethics researchers in Spain, a country where bibliometric indicators have long been used to evaluate research. The study uses a mixed approach combining quantitative and qualitative data from a self-administered questionnaire completed by 201 researchers and from 14 in-depth interviews with researchers selected according to their affiliation, professional category, gender, and area of knowledge. Results show that the evaluation system is widely perceived to affect university researchers in significant ways, particularly related to publication habits (document type and publication language), the transformation of research agendas and the neglect of teaching work, as well as increasing research misconduct and negatively affecting mental health. Although to a lesser extent, other consequences included increased research productivity and enhanced transparency and impartiality in academic selection processes.

Purpose: Considering the relevance of education for sustainable development (SD) to enhancing engineers' abilities to contribute towards sustainability-related issues, this study aims to help understand the global context of the insertion of SD into engineering education and to provide guidelines to further evolve research and efforts towards implementing Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD). Design/methodology/approach: This study performed a longitudinal analysis using bibliometrics and a content analysis via Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate standards. SciMAT software was used to support the bibliometric analysis. Findings: In addition to an increase in the practical aspects presented due to a change in the approaches taken to examine key topics, evidence on important concepts such as "life cycle assessment" and "digitalisation" increased in more recent years. However, it was possible to show that, despite the evolution observed throughout the years, several important opportunities exist for engineering programmes to improve and, for researchers, to fill the related gaps in the research. Originality/value: This study can be used as a guide for future research and as a source of insights for EESD implementation and improvement.

The use of the Internet among children and adolescents is now a norm in many parts of the world. As the Internet offers a wide range of benefits to these ones, so does it expose them to possible various risks and harm. Researchers in different countries across the world have engaged in the production of relevant research-based knowledge in order to make the virtual world a safe place for the younger ones. However, while studies have been carried out on the subject of Internet risk among children and adolescents, there is a dearth of information on the assessment of research activities across different parts of the world. The present study employed Bibliometric techniques to determine research productivity patterns across the different regions and countries of the world. All relevant publications indexed in Google Scholar were collected between November and December, 2018. The findings of the study reveal that while countries in the American and European regions of the world have been very productive in researching on the subject, the same is not the case with their African counterparts.

33. Virtual Laboratories--A Historical Review and Bibliometric Analysis of the Past Three Decades

- Abstract
Online and virtual teaching-learning has been a panacea that most educational institutions adopted from the dire need created by COVID-19. We provide a comprehensive bibliometric study of 9523 publications on virtual laboratories in higher education covering the years 1991 to 2021. Influential bibliometrics such as publications and citations, productive countries, contributing institutions, funders, journals, authors, and bibliographic couplings were studied using the Scientific Procedures and Rationales for Systematic Literature Reviews (SPAR-4-SLR) protocol. A new metric to complement citations called Field Weighted Citation Impact was introduced that considers the differences in research behavior across disciplines. Findings show that 72% of the research work was published between 2011-and 2021, most likely due to digitalization, with the highest number of publications in 2020-2021 highlighting the impact of the pandemic. Top contributing institutions were from the developed economies of Spain, Germany, and the United States. The citation impact from publications with international co-authors is the highest, highlighting the importance of co-authoring papers with different countries. For the first time, Altmetrics in the context of virtual labs were studied though a very low correlation was observed between citations and Altmetrics Attention Score. Still, the overall percentage of publications with attention showed linear growth. Our work also highlights that virtual laboratory could play a significant role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG4-Quality Education, which largely remains under-addressed.

34. Analysis of Scientific Studies on Item Response Theory by Bibliometric Analysis Method

The purpose of this study is to analyze the studies, which include Item Response Theory among the keywords, available in the Web of Science database between 1980-2018 through bibliometric analysis method. A total of 1,367 academic works has been analyzed. The authors, journals and countries having the highest number of studies in the field and their interrelations on the network in terms of collaboration have been determined through common citation analysis performed using Citespace II software. In addition, a word analysis was also conducted to determine most frequently used concepts in the field. As a result of the study it was found that the authors that have made the biggest contribution to the field are De Ayala, Embretson, Reckase, Reise and Chalmers; in addition, the countries making the biggest contribution are respectively US, Netherland, Canada, Spain and China. The number of citations that US got, which is the country that received the highest number of citations with 687 citations, is 7 times higher than Netherland, which is the second most cited country. Moreover, it was found that the journals that were mostly cited are respectively "Psychometrika," "Appl Psych Measurement," "Item Response Theory," "J Edu Measurement" and "Educ Psychol Measurement." As a result of the word analysis based on most repeated words, which was performed for the purpose of determining most popular subjects on the field, it was found that most frequently used words are item response theory, classical test theory, model, validation, reliability, validity and Rasch model.

35. Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Education: A Bibliometric Analysis

Purpose: Innovation in education is one of the alternative approaches in education to promote creative and higher-order thinking skills, providing hands-on learning and learning in context experience. However, there is a need to combine the ability to produce a commercialised innovation instead, as not many studies have combined innovation and entrepreneurship in an educational approach. This study seeks to examine the pattern of publication, key concepts, citations, and authorship in innovation and entrepreneurship educational research and their collaborations. Methods: This study employed a bibliometric analysis of 1,941 scholarly works related to innovation and entrepreneurship as recorded in the Scopus database on June 20th, 2021, for the past 10 years, starting in 2011. Findings: The findings indicate that since 2011, innovation and entrepreneurship have caught the attention of scholars from both the East and the West, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, and China, and the number of publications has grown consistently over the 10 years after that. Based on the findings, both innovation and entrepreneurship do rely on each other, and a proper curriculum design structure and management must be considered to assimilate these two elements together in any academic subject. Significance: According to the findings, these two elements are best applied at the tertiary level, and if they work together and blend well, they will aid not only in preparing future generations with good entrepreneurial skills but also in economic and sustainable development. However, while this transdisciplinary approach to educational research has been well received in the West, it has yet to be adequately encouraged in the East. There has been healthy cross-country collaboration, but there is a gap in combining innovation and entrepreneurship in educational research from certain countries vis a vis western countries. The findings of this study may have contributed significantly to increasing the inclusivity and global reach of innovation and entrepreneurship in educational research.

36. Plastic and Visual Education in 2021: State of the Art through the Web of Science

- Abstract
Research in plastic and visual education covers a wide variety of topics and problems of inquiry. My objective was to identify and analyze the research in this discipline from the past decade on Web of Science; to describe the significant scientific production; and to detect thematic lines, approaches, and models. A mixed method was applied, involving network analysis, scientific mapping, the visualization of similarities, and visual analysis techniques in a structured four-phase design. The analyses allowed me to explore the objectives by establishing a map of the state of the field, with four thematic lines, nine approaches, and eight research methodologies. I found an increase in scientific production in the past 3 years, which revealed a focus on the discipline's traditional issues, such as evaluation and educational processes, an emphasis on the educational approach over the artistic one, and an absence of significant coauthorship networks.

The growing need to improve the quality and efficiency of translation by using technology has stimulated the practice of and research into translation technology teaching (TTT). Naturally, there is a need to analyse the state of the art and development of TTT from a quantitative perspective, because such research is still very scarce. This paper uses the bibliometric technologies, CiteSpace and VOSviewer in particular, to delineate the publication information of TTT-related research mainly in two citation databases, i.e., Web of Science (WoS) and China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), from the year 1999 to 2020. It finds that China is gaining importance in TTT-related research, that international English-language publications pay more attention to the teaching of MTPE, while Chinese-language publications focus more on corpus-based TTT, and that English publications tend to use empirical methods, while Chinese publications tend to adopt non-empirical methods. The differences between the two publication communities in research methods and focuses call for contact and exchange between the two communities.

38. Charting the Terrain of Global Research on Graduate Education: A Bibliometric Approach

The paper provides an overview of the global research on graduate education. The study applied a combination of a bibliometric and social network analysis methods to bibliographic data from Thompson Reuters' Web of Science. More specifically, a keyword search approach was used to retrieve 2,454 articles on graduate education from 1996 until 2020. The set was processed with the VantagePoint software. The paper reports the findings in the form of lists of top scholars, research centres, and countries contributing to research on graduate education. The findings include similar lists of the key funding agencies, contributing disciplines and publication venues, as well as maps representing collaborative activity in the field between institutions, and countries. Finally, the frequency of utilisation of groups of author-supplied keywords is analysed to determine the basic thematic structure of the research on the topic. The originality of the paper consists in the fact that it represents the first attempt to map the landscape of research on graduate education using bibliographic data. It can be used to supplement the results of literature reviews on the topic, which apply a more in-depth content analysis-based approaches to a limited number of papers to determine the thematic structure of the field.

39. Bibliometric Analysis of the Studies in the Field of Mathematics Education

The purpose of this study is to perform bibliometric analysis of the scientific researches published in mathematics education subject area between 1980 and 2018, to find out the general layout of the scientific knowledge and communication structure of the field using an objective method, driven from the data. The publications were analyzed according to publication year, type of publication, language of publication, title of publication, name of the author, country of the author and number of citations taken from the sources scanned in Web of Science (WoS) Core Collection database; structural and temporal analysis of various networks, such as collaboration networks and author collaborations were performed. In addition, a word analysis was also conducted in the study to determine the concepts used in the researches published in mathematics education area and covered in the data set. It was found that the publications involving mathematics education increased from 1980 to 2018. The review of the countries according to the number of studies that they have performed in the field revealed that the most productive countries are United States, England and Turkey. Regarding the centrality of the countries in the network, the countries that are located at the center of the network were found to be England, US and Spain, respectively. Regarding the ranking of the countries according to the number of citations taken for the scientific works that they have performed in mathematics education area, it was found that US, Turkey and Malaysia had the highest number of citation bursts. Regarding the ranking of the works according to title, the topics that have been mostly worked on are elementary mathematics classroom, teacher education and achievement gap. The words that are mostly used in mathematics education research area were mathematics, education, student and achievement, respectively.

40. Trends of Serious Games Research from 2007 to 2017: A Bibliometric Analysis

This study examines the tendencies of studies carried out using text mining methods under the title of "serious game". A query was run for the "serious game" keyword in the Web of Science search engine to acquire the data. The study included publications that were scanned in the SCI-EXPANDED, SSCI and A&HCI indices between 2007-2017. Information could be acquired for a total of 1431 publications. Firstly, the obtained data were cleansed of erroneous and unnecessary information by way of a pre-process. According to the data set cleansed of errors, the total number of common citations was 12701, number of citations per publication was 8.88, whereas h-index was determined as 51. Analyses were carried out by examining all "serious games" publications on the basis of: year, author, journal/symposium name, keywords, research areas and common citation parameters. According to the results, there was a continuous increase over time in the number of publications and citations. Even though "serious games" is a topic that is frequently studied in the field of education technology studies in fields such as psychology, health care sciences, environmental sciences, ecology, public environmental occupational health, rehabilitation, business economics and psychiatry shows that "serious game" is also a popular topic for studies in different disciplines.

41. Modern International Large-Scale Assessment in Education: An Integrative Review and Mapping of the Literature

- Abstract
Research in international large-scale assessment (ILSA) has become an increasingly popular field of study in education. Consequently, interest and debate in the field by practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and the public has grown over the past decades. This study adopts a descriptive bibliometric approach to map modern research on ILSA in education and provide an up-to-date picture of the recent developments and structure of the field. The analysis of 2,233 journal articles indexed in the Web of Sciences database revealed that ILSA research in education is an emerging field in a stage of exponential growth that has become increasingly international with recent substantive contributions from China, Spain, and Turkey. Research in the field is currently produced by a tupid network of scholars with diverse geographical backgrounds that engage frequently in national and international research collaborations. Also, the field is relatively interdisciplinary and has developed grounded on nine differentiated historical paths. The PISA program has received the greatest attention in the field, and a wide variety of topics have been addressed in the literature in the last decades, including equity and quality education, globalization and education policy, measurement and statistics, student motivation and self-concept, and interpersonal relationships. The paper concludes by pointing to the potential of future ILSA research to make use of new more relevant instrumentation, data linkages, and trans-regional collaborations.

42. Graduate Employment in Higher Education: Applying Bibliometrics to World-System Theory

- Abstract
As massification of higher education developed, employment challenges in changing labour markets aroused the attention of scholars globally. An interdisciplinary approach called world-system theory is applied by scholars from the social sciences, history, anthropology and cultural studies. This study applied the theory in a bibliometric analysis of graduate employment research using R and CiteSpace. It identified the main characteristics (e.g. authors and countries) of relevant research, investigated the social and economic context of certain milestone publications and visualised research hot spots. World-system theory, as a macrosociological approach to describing the world economy and social system, is innovatively applied in illustrating the findings of the current work. Results indicate that core countries not only are economically influential but also dominating the academic research. Scholars in semi-peripheral and peripheral countries are encouraged to establish transnational networks and foster academic collaborations.

Purpose: Scholarly interest in interorganizational learning (IOL) has spiked in the past decade because of its potential to absorb, transfer and create valuable knowledge for enhanced innovative performance and sustained competitive advantage. However, only a handful of review studies exists on the topic. The evolution of IOL has not been studied explicitly and there is a lack of understanding of the field trends. To fill this gap, this paper aims to comprehensively review the literature on IOL and map its evolution and trends using bibliometric techniques. In particular, the authors use visualization of science mapping freeware to systematize the findings and interpret the results. Design/methodology/approach: The authors synthesize the findings using "evaluative bibliometric techniques" to identify the quality and quantity indicators of the IOL research and use "relational bibliometric techniques" to determine the structural indicators of the IOL field such as the intellectual foundations and emerging research themes of IOL research. Findings: Through an analysis of 208 journal publications obtained from the Scopus database, the authors determine the leading authors, countries, highly cited papers and their contributions to the IOL literature. By identifying the key hotspots, intellectual foundations and emerging trends of IOL, the authors provide promising avenues in IOL research. Originality/value: To the best of the knowledge, this study is the first to systematically review the IOL literature and provide future research directions.

44. Mapping the Integration of the Sustainable Development Goals in Universities: Is It a Field of Study?

- Abstract
This article maps the scientific production and the contents associated with the sustainable development goals and their integration with universities during the past 21 years. Although many of the topics related to sustainable development goals (SDGs) have been addressed in different studies for decades, it is since 2015 onwards that they gained greater prominence due to the inclusion of higher education as an important actor in the fulfillment of the 2030 agenda and the United Nations SDGs. For the purpose of this paper, a bibliometric analysis of 871 papers, 535 documents in Scopus, and 336 in Web of Science (WoS) from 1998 to 2019 was performed, and the Bibliometrix analysis tool was used. The objective of this mapping is to answer the following research question: Is the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals and Universities a field of study? An analysis of the network of collaborators and trend topics in Scopus and WoS allows us to identify the concurrence and relationships of some keywords, such as sustainable development, sustainability and planning, and some background words, such as humans and global health. In another analysis, the word "higher education" is related to change. This article suggests that the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals in Universities is becoming a field of study under exploration, with a peak of production in 2016 and that has remained stable in the last three years, but thanks to the leading role assigned to Universities, intellectual production should increase in the following years.

45. Analysis of Research Collaboration between Universities and Private Companies in Spain Based on Joint Scientific Publications

- Abstract
Introduction: The article presents the results of a study on scientific collaboration between Spanish universities and private enterprise, measured in terms of the co-authorship of papers published in international journals. Method: Bibliometric analysis of papers published in journals listed in Scopus in 2003-2011. Indicators were calculated for output, collaboration, standardised impact and publication in highly reputed journals. Analysis: A number of dimensions were explored: (1) publication patterns among domestic companies; (2) subject matter distribution and impact of the papers published; (3) university-company partnering based on papers co-authored by university and private sector researchers; and (4) regional differences. Results: The three fields where production was most intense were biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology, engineering and medicine. Research in collaboration with companies had a lower normalised impact than research conducted by universities alone. The highest volumes of private sector collaboration with Spanish universities were recorded for pharmaceutical companies. Conclusions: Companies' output was observed to decline across the period studied and their academic articles appeared to be less visible than the papers published by other institutions.

46. A Bibliometric Study of Scholarly Articles Published by Library and Information Science Authors about Open Access

Introduction: This study aims to gain a greater understanding of the development of open access practices amongst library and information science authors, since their role is integral to the success of the broader open access movement. Method: Data were collected from scholarly articles about open access by library and information science authors from 2003 until 2011 found in the Library and Information Science Abstracts database. Analysis: A bibliometric approach is taken for the information gathered from 203 articles. Excel and SPSS were used to derive descriptive statistics and correlations. Results: Overall an open access rate of 60% was found, which was lower than expected considering 94% of these articles appeared to endorse open access. Conclusions: Although these results show a higher open access rate than previous studies, and a linear growth of open access publications over the years, there is still a large gap between theory and practice which needs to be addressed.

47. Impact of Assessment Criteria on Publication Behaviour: The Case of Communication Research in Spain

Introduction: This paper outlines the evolution of Spanish production in the area of communication research over the last seventeen years. It analyses whether the consolidation of the existing systems of assessment of scientific activity have been mirrored by an increase in the output of Spanish authors in journals indexed by the Social Sciences Citation Index Method: A bibliometric approach to the subject matter has been selected. We have analysed indicators such as institutional and individual productivity, models of publishing and dynamics of co-operation (intra-and inter-institutional, national and international). Analysis: This method has been applied to thirty-four journals included in the communication category of the Social Sciences Citation Index. To ensure consistency in the data collected, only journals that have remained in this database over the seventeen years covered by the research, from 1994 to 2010, have been selected. Results: Results reveal that the output of Spanish researchers in communication has increased significantly over five years, from forty-eight papers in 1994-2005, to eighty-two for the period 2006-2010. Conclusions: The increase coincides with the creation in 2002 of National Quality and Accreditation Evaluation Agency (ANECA) whose assessment criteria give priority to publication in journals indexed by the Social Sciences Citation Index.

48. Bibliometric Synthesis of Educational Productivity Research: Benchmarking the Visibility of German Educational Research

This paper investigates the fitness-for-purpose and soundness of bibliometric parameters for measuring and elucidating the performance of researchers in the field of education sciences in Germany and other European countries for the purpose of benchmarking. In order to take into account the specificities of the publication pattern of researchers in education sciences, bibliometric data are used as benchmarks. Specifically, the analysis is based on the data of "Scopus and SCImago" and exploits the contributions of educational researchers from Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Scandinavian countries to leading international journals within the period 2010 to 2015-2016. The results demonstrate that the visibility of German education in international journals is not as bad as is often assumed. Nevertheless, substantial shortcomings are revealed. After discussing some factors responsible for these shortcomings, the article concludes with considerations on possible consequences to be drawn from the status quo of international visibility of German educational science.

This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of highly cited articles published in the Web of Science category "Education and Educational Research" in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). A total of 2091 journal articles published in this category and cited more than 100 times up to the end of the year 2016 were retrieved as highly cited articles. Distributions of highly cited articles per publication year, journals, institutions and countries were analysed, as well as the citation life cycle of the top-cited articles. The USA, its institutions and researchers are the absolute leaders in the category of Education and Educational Research according to the results of the conducted analysis.

- Abstract
Introduction: Presents the first bibliometric study on the evolution of the fuzzy sets theory field. It is specially focused on the research carried out by the Spanish community. Method. The CoPalRed software, for network analysis, and the co-word analysis technique are used. Analysis: Bibliometric maps showing the main associations among the main concepts in the field are provided for the periods 1965-1993, 1994-1998, 1999-2003 and 2004-2008. Results: The bibliometric maps obtained provide insight into the structure of the fuzzy sets theory research in the Spanish community, visualize the research subfields, and show the existing relationships between those subfields. Furthermore, we compare the Spanish community with other countries (the USA and Canada; the UK and Germany; and Japan and Peoples Republic of China). Conclusions: As a result of the analysis, a complete study of the evolution of the Spanish fuzzy sets community and an analysis of its international importance are presented.
