The addictive potential of social media is well known. However, data on the impact of social media on mental health are contradictory. Some studies report the benefits of using social media for mental health. In turn, data from other studies have shown that widespread use of social networks has been associated with a number of psychological and mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety, psychological stress, especially in young people. The purpose of the study. To study the association of problematic use of social networks with anxiety indicators on the HADS scale among medical university students Materials and methods. The study included 229 students of both sexes enrolled in the 3rd year of the medical faculty of the Medical University. The analysis of the problematic use of social networks was carried out using the Russian version of the questionnaire «The Social Media Disorder Scale». The identification and assessment of the severity of anxiety disorders was carried out using the Russian version of the hospital scale of anxiety and depression HADS. Results. It was found, that the frequency of problematic use of social networks in the general group of surveyed students studying at a medical university was 9,6%. The presence of signs of anxiety was detected in 34,9% of the surveyed students. The frequency of problematic use of social networks among people with signs of anxiety was 59,1%. Among the examined girls the number of people with signs of anxiety with problematic use of social networks was twice as large as compared to patients without problematic use of social networks. Conclusion. Associations of problematic use of social networks with indicators of anxiety on the HADS scale among students at a medical university were revealed.

Ukraine is one of the few countries in Europe that allows surrogacy for both its own citizens and foreigners. It is a very attractive destination for reproductive tourism because of its convenient geographical position, good level of medical services and moderate prices; moreover, legal regulation on surrogacy in Ukraine is fragmentary as no special law on human reproduction has yet been adopted. This paper aims to uncover the conditions for surrogacy in Ukraine alongside the gaps in the current Ukrainian legislation and to compare the Ukrainian legislation on surrogacy with the legislation of European countries. The author also aspires to analyze the recent draft laws on assisted human reproduction that have been submitted for consideration to the Ukrainian parliament. Another purpose of the article is to formulate the legal problems of the surrogacy industry in the early wartime. The principal result of the paper is that the need for detailed regulation surrounding surrogacy is pressing, and the adoption of special laws on assisted human reproduction by the Ukrainian parliament would be a significant step forward. The author concludes that the regulation of surrogacy in Ukraine is very liberal in comparison with the rules of most of the countries of Western Europe, where surrogacy is banned. At the end of 2021 and during 2022–2023, four different draft laws dedicated to assisted human reproduction were considered by the Ukrainian parliament. Despite the fact that the legislative work calendar of the Ukrainian parliament provided that the relevant law should be adopted in 2023, on May 3, 2023, the Ukrainian parliament rejected all of the abovementioned drafts. It is expected that other drafts will be elaborated and submitted in the nearest future. The war initiated by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began on February 24, 2022, has greatly affected the reality of surrogacy. The emergency evacuation of surrogates and difficulties in obtaining transportation documents and birth certificates for children born after surrogacy are just some of the problems faced by both intended parents and agencies. These problems will not cease until the war is over.

The mode of operation of the Black Sea or Turkish straits is again becoming a matter of international discussion following the clash of two globalization projects: the American Greater Black Sea region and the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative, as well as Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, which is primarily realized on the ground. Being the Black Sea straits a core object of international agreements between the World War I and the World War II, the Montreux Convention of 1936 secured the Black Sea from major naval clashes and accidents. The Convention, which is more than 85 years old, has the longest regime for regulating the passage of military and civilian ships through the Black Sea straits since 1783 and has reflected the geopolitical reality, in which the Black Sea littoral powers, which have been Türkiye and Russia for 240 years, have noticeable advantages over the navies of non-littoral powers. This provision contradicts the modern American aspirations to open the Black Sea region and the Black Sea - Caspian space for the military-political expansion of the United States and the coalition. The purpose of the article is to determine, on the basis of a discursive analysis, the goal-setting of the main geopolitical actors in relation to the Montreux Convention and to predict the possible transformations of the Black Sea region, which has become the center of a clash of interests of global and regional powers. The research methodology is based on the principles of systemic and interdisciplinary approaches to provide a combination of methods of political linguistics and geopolitical analysis and synthesis. The article examines the discourse of the leading actors of international relations around the Montreux Convention following the special military operation, which makes it possible to identify its transformations between the status quo or denunciation at the level of conceptual discussions. Türkiye traditionally balances between the interests of Russia and the West due to the role of a neutral “gatekeeper” of the straits, technologically applying Article 19 of the Convention, which so far fully meets the interests of Russia; while the USA shows a tendency to revise the Convention or circumvent it legally. Therefore, the Montreux Convention will remain at the center of public and real politics until the end of the formation of a new system of international relations that should ensure the stability of the development of the world for the next political era.

Наведено опис бізнес-логіки Salesforce Marketing Cloud, яка включає прийняття рішень на основі аналітичних даних, сегментацію клієнтів, автоматизацію індивідуального підходу до клієнтів з метою підвищення лояльності клієнтів і зростання доходу компанії. Salesforce Marketing Cloud надає можливість створювати персоналізовані маркетингові заходи та керувати ними, взаємодіяти з клієнтами за різними каналами, аналізувати наслідки маркетингових зусиль для постійного вдосконалення маркетингових стратегій компанії. Досліджено функціональність та особливості основних компонентів Salesforce Marketing Cloud. У Salesforce Marketing Cloud реалізовано такі основні функції: email-маркетинг, мобільний маркетинг, управління соціальними медіа-заходами та іншими видами маркетингу. Користувачи Salesforce Marketing Cloud можуть створювати персоналізовані маркетингові заходи та управляти ними, за кількома каналами взаємодіяти з клієнтами та аналізувати маркетингові зусилля для постійного вдосконалення маркетингових стратегій. Здійнено проєктування архітектури Salesforce Marketing Cloud для поведінкової сегментації клієнтів компанії. Розроблено Web-додаток для покращення роботи користувачів платформи з даними клієнтів, що зберігаються в Data Extensions. Для автоматизації сегментації клієнтів на основі їх поведінкових даних була використана Automation Studio, побудовані SQL запити, використані системні таблиці даних Data Views. Розроблена архітектура Marketing Cloud Salesforce CRM на основі поведінкової сегментації є важливим інструментом для реалізації маркетингової стратегії компанії, забезпечуючи успішне залучення та утримання клієнтів, а також для досягнення стратегічних цілей.

The authors of the article, basing on the structural-functional method of system approach, investigate the long-term confrontation in Turkey between the supporters of national independence (neo-Ottoman system) and integration into the liberal-democratic paradigm of the collective West (secular system). The Taksim-Gezi mass protests in 2013 and the attempted military coup on July 15, 2016 by supporters of Fethullah Gulen (“Feto”) are examined through the prism of the methodology of influencing the “pillars” of the political regime. The tools of mass communication, coordination, and mobilization of the population during the mentioned period are studied. The publication uses content analysis and behavioral analysis of user search queries in Google Trends. The successful counteraction of the “neo-Ottoman” system to the challenges of the “secular” camp, internal opposition, as well as the role of R. T. Erdogan in maintaining the balance of power in the country is underlined. In conclusion, the author highlights the possible risks to Turkey’s stability in the future, associated with changes in the political situation and the opposition, in case of a change of leadership in the country. The study is aimed at developing a methodology for determining the cycles of protest activity and the involvement of the population in these events. This will make it possible to predict the level of stability of the political regime to “network revolutions” and coups d'état.

Purpose: a review of domestic and foreign studies in the field of the formation of Internet addiction in adolescents. Materials and methods. The article presents a review of the literature and analyzes scientific research on the prevalence of Internet addiction, the formation of Internet addiction and the individual psychological characteristics of adolescents according to researchers from various countries. The authors of the article conducted a scientific search using the relevant keywords in PubMed and Google Scholar search engines, in databases for searching scientific information: RFBR Library, PsyJournals, PsyArxiv, Scopus, Web of Science, MedLine, The Cochrane Library, EMBASE, Global Health, CyberLeninka, RSCI (eLIBRARY.RU) and others. Results. To study the presence of Internet addiction and its types, surveys are used in research ("Chen Internet Addiction Scale" (CIAS), "Game Addiction Scale for Adolescents" (GASA) and "The Social Media Disorder Scale" (SMDS), Russian-language versions of questionnaires), psychological testing and psychological observation. Significant risk factors for Internet addiction in adolescents are: high excitability (irritability, nervousness); decrease in self-control (decrease in the manifestation of one's own emotions and motivations for activity); emotional instability (mood swings, impulsiveness, inconsistency of actions); anxiety-depressive conditions; tendency to introversion according to a complex of personality traits; insufficient development of emotional (social) intelligence (perception, use, understanding and management of emotions), difficulties in the educational process. Conclusion. Early warning of the development of Internet addiction should be carried out in educational institutions. Personalized prevention of Internet addiction in the adolescent age group is the most effective and can significantly reduce the incidence. A qualified psychologist can identify a tendency to addictive behavior in adolescents. Educate children and adolescents in the reasonable use of technology. More research is needed in adolescents to better identify commonalities and different types of Internet content addiction.

BackgroundThe healthcare sector demands a higher degree of responsibility, trustworthiness, and accountability when implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. Machine learning operations (MLOps) for AI-based medical diagnostic systems are primarily focused on aspects such as data quality and confidentiality, bias reduction, model deployment, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement. However, so far, MLOps techniques do not take into account the need to provide resilience to disturbances such as adversarial attacks, including fault injections, and drift, including out-of-distribution. This article is concerned with the MLOps methodology that incorporates the steps necessary to increase the resilience of an AI-based medical diagnostic system against various kinds of disruptive influences.MethodsPost-hoc resilience optimization, post-hoc predictive uncertainty calibration, uncertainty monitoring, and graceful degradation are incorporated as additional stages in MLOps. To optimize the resilience of the AI based medical diagnostic system, additional components in the form of adapters and meta-adapters are utilized. These components are fine-tuned during meta-training based on the results of adaptation to synthetic disturbances. Furthermore, an additional model is introduced for post-hoc calibration of predictive uncertainty. This model is trained using both in-distribution and out-of-distribution data to refine predictive confidence during the inference mode.ResultsThe structure of resilience-aware MLOps for medical diagnostic systems has been proposed. Experimentally confirmed increase of robustness and speed of adaptation for medical image recognition system during several intervals of the system’s life cycle due to the use of resilience optimization and uncertainty calibration stages. The experiments were performed on the DermaMNIST dataset, BloodMNIST and PathMNIST. ResNet-18 as a representative of convolutional networks and MedViT-T as a representative of visual transformers are considered. It is worth noting that transformers exhibited lower resilience than convolutional networks, although this observation may be attributed to potential imperfections in the architecture of adapters and meta-adapters.СonclusionThe main novelty of the suggested resilience-aware MLOps methodology and structure lie in the separating possibilities and activities on creating a basic model for normal operating conditions and ensuring its resilience and trustworthiness. This is significant for the medical applications as the developer of the basic model should devote more time to comprehending medical field and the diagnostic task at hand, rather than specializing in system resilience. Resilience optimization increases robustness to disturbances and speed of adaptation. Calibrated confidences ensure the recognition of a portion of unabsorbed disturbances to mitigate their impact, thereby enhancing trustworthiness.

With the aim of reducing carbon emissions and seeking independence from Russian gas in the wake of the conflict in Ukraine, the use of hydrogen in the European Union is expected to rise in the future. In this regard, hydrogen transport via pipeline will become increasingly crucial, either through the utilization of existing natural gas infrastructure or the construction of new dedicated hydrogen pipelines. This study investigates the effects of hydrogen blending in existing pipelines on the European energy system by the year 2050, by introducing hydrogen blending sensitivities to the Global Energy System Model (GENeSYS-MOD). Results indicate that hydrogen demand in Europe is inelastic and limited by its high costs and specific use cases, with hydrogen production increasing by 0.17% for 100%-blending allowed compared to no blending allowed. The availability of hydrogen blending has been found to impact regional hydrogen production and trade, with countries that can utilize existing natural gas pipelines, such as Norway, experiencing an increase in hydrogen and synthetic gas exports from 44.0 TWh up to 105.9 TWh in 2050, as the proportion of blending increases. Although the influence of blending on the overall production and consumption of hydrogen in Europe is minimal, the impacts on the location of production and dependence on imports must be thoroughly evaluated in future planning efforts.

The scientific work aims to determine which rights are provided for forcibly resettled persons in Ukraine and other European countries, identifying common and distinctive features. This study uses various research methods to assess the situation of internally displaced persons in Ukraine, including their legal status, regional distribution, and rights under special conditions. It also investigates Ukrainian forced migrants’ main destinations, living conditions, rights to education and employment, and Ukrainian and host countries’ social policies on financial aid and housing.

Background. Red bone marrow (RBM) is the main organ of human haemopoiesis. Monocytopoiesis plays an important role in the formation of transitional states: from normal to pathology and in the transformation of pathological processes from one stage to another. In modern urological practice, the substance triptorelin is widely used for androgen deprivation therapy, according to the recommendations of the European Association of Urology. Ki67, a commercially available monoclonal antibody that reacts with a nuclear antigen detected only in proliferating cells, is used to assess immunohistochemical changes. CD68 is a valuable cytochemical marker for immunostaining of monocytes/macrophages during histochemical analysis of tissues in inflammation, cancer and other immunohistopathological purposes. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the proliferative activity and differentiation of progenitor cells through the expression of Ki67 and CD68+ monocyte sprouting of RBM under chemical castration of central origin in male rats caused by the administration of triptorelin solution with quercetin addition to the diet for one year. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on 60 adult male white rats. They were divided into 3 groups: group I — control (n = 10), group II (n = 25) — subcutaneous injection of triptorelin, group III (n = 25) — subcutaneous injection of triptorelin acetate and quercetin. Immunohistochemical analysis of biopsy specimens was conducted following a standard protocol at the Department of Pathological Anatomy in Sumy State University, under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Prof. Romaniuk A.M. Results. The study evaluated Ki67 expression on microsections of rat red bone marrow through immunohistochemistry, which exclusively reacted with nuclear antigen in the monocyte sprout’s proliferating cells. Irregular changes were revealed depending on the experimental groups and time periods. Immunohistochemical analysis of RBM tissue using anti-CD68 antibodies in the experimental groups revealed a strong positive cytoplasmic response in monocytes and resident macrophages located in the monocyte sprout and surrounding environment. The data of the two experimental groups of RBM had a noticeable proliferating compartment, as evidenced by the high content of mitotically active DNA in them. These data correspond to the results obtained in the experiment with triptorelin, where we found a marked positivity of Ki67, depending on the timing of the experiment and the addition of the flavonoid quercetin. This discrepancy suggests that bone marrow cells that grow and proliferate under normal conditions are guided by natural control mechanisms and may lose their Ki67 expression after leaving the progenitor compartment and entering the differentiation compartment. Conclusions. Triptorelin administration induces hormonal imbalance in the hypothalamus-pituitary-testis-RBM system, resulting in quantitative and qualitative alterations in the cells of the RBM monocytic lineage. The level of cell proliferation, as measured by Ki67, is highest during the third month of observation. Cytoplasmic expression of CD68 is evident in two experimental groups from the third to the sixth month, suggesting activation of immunoreactive cells as they migrate from the progenitor compartment to the differentiation compartment.

The purpose of the study. To study the influence of various metabolic syndrome clusters on the severity of depressive disorders according to the CES-D scale. Materials and methods. 136 male patients were examined, including 60 with metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome was diagnosed based on the criteria of clinical recommendations of the All-Russian Scientific Society of Cardiology in 2009. The severity of depression was assessed using the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale - CES-D. Results. It was found that among the surveyed men with metabolic syndrome, depressive disorders of varying severity on the CES-D scale were found in 40% of the surveyed, while among men with MS, the number of people with severe depression on the CES-D scale was higher. Among persons with a four-component metabolic syndrome cluster, patients with severe depression were more common (57,1%). In men with depression on the CES-D scale of varying severity, a three-component cluster of metabolic syndromes was more common, consisting of abdominal obesity, arterial hypertension, and an elevated level of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Conclusion. The combination of abdominal obesity, arterial hypertension, and lipid disorders characterized by high levels of low-density lipoprotein was the most common metabolic syndrome cluster among men with depressive disorders of varying severity on the CES-D scale.

Research objectives: to evaluate the effectiveness of phytotherapy in the treatment of menstrual health disorders in women of early reproductive age after a moderate and severe form of the coronavirus disease. Material and methods. 104 women of early reproductive age with menstrual health disorders that occurred 3 months later after moderate or severe COVID-19 were under observation and 34 gynecologically and somatically healthy women of the control group who did not suffer from COVID-19. Female patients with COVID-19 were randomly divided into two groups: the main group (n=53) and the comparison group (n=51). The performed examination included: study of complaints, general and gynecological anamnesis, physical and gynecological examination, ultrasound examination of pelvic organs, determination of hormonal profile. All patients with COVID-19 received a comprehensive rehabilitation program, which included diet therapy, vitamin and mineral complexes, psychotherapy. In addition to the complex rehabilitation program patients of the main group received ayurvedic phytocompositions Femicycle or Femimens for 6 months. Results. It has been established that the moderate and severe course of the coronavirus infection affects the reproductive system of early reproductive aged women and leads to menstrual health disorders, among which irregular menstruation, premenstrual syndrome and dysmenorrhea dominate. Levels of pituitary, adrenal, ovarian and thyroid serum hormones were within the reference norm in most cases, but have statistically significant deviations from similar indicators of healthy control women who did not have COVID-19. One-third of women of early reproductive age after moderate to severe COVID-19 had elevated prolactin levels. Ayurvedic phytocompositions Femicycle and Femimens in a comprehensive rehabilitation program for post-COVID menstrual health disorders led to a faster recovery of menstrual health and a full hormonal recovery. Conclusions. Ayurvedic phytocompositions Femicycle and Femimens are effective and safe naturopathic drugs for restoring menstrual health in women of early reproductive age after experiencing moderate to severe COVID-19.

File carving techniques are important in the field of digital forensics. At the same time, the rapid growth in the amount and types of data requires the development of file carving methods in terms of capabilities, accuracy, and computational efficiency. However, most of the methods are developed to solve specific tasks and are based on a certain set of assumptions and a priori knowledge about the files to be recovered. There is a lack of research that systematizes methods and structures approaches to identify gaps and determine perspective directions for development, considering the latest advances in information technology and artificial intelligence. The subject matter of this article is the structure, factors, efficiency criteria, methods, and tools of file carving, as well as the current state and tendencies of development of file carving methods. The goal of this study is to systematize knowledge about advanced file carving methods and identify perspective directions for their development. The tasks to be solved are as follows: to identify the main stages of file carving and analyze approaches to their implementation; to build an ontological scheme of file carving; and to identify perspective directions for the development of carving methods. The methods used were literature review, systematization, and summarization. The obtained results are as follows. An ontological scheme for the file carving concept is constructed. The scheme includes the principles, properties, phases, techniques, evaluation criteria, tools used, and factors influencing file carving. The features, limitations, and fields of application of the data recovery methods are provided. It was established that the most widespread approach to file reconstruction is still a manually detailed analysis of the internal structure of files and/or their contents, identifying specific patterns that allow reassembling the sequence of data fragments in the correct order. However, most of the methods do not provide one hundred percent guaranteed results. This article analyzes the current state and prospects of using artificial intelligence methods in the field of digital forensics, particularly for identifying data blocks, clustering, and reconstructing files, as well as restoring the contents of media files with damaged or lost headers. The necessity of having priori information about the file structure or content for successfully carving fragmented data is determined. Conclusions. The scientific novelty of the obtained results is as follows: for the first time, advanced file carving methods are systematized and analyzed by directions of development and the perspectives of using artificial intelligence for identifying data blocks, clustering, and file content restoration; for the first time, an ontological scheme of file carving is constructed, which can be used as a roadmap for developing new advanced systems in the digital forensics field.

The aim of this work is to study the possibility of the existence of multistability near the boundary of noise-induced synchronization in chaotic continuous and discrete systems. Ensembles of uncoupled Lorenz systems and logistic maps being under influence of a common source of white noise have been chosen as an object under study. Methods. The noise-induced synchronization regime detection has been performed by means of direct comparison of the system states being under influence of the common noise source and by calculation of the synchronization error. To determine the presence of multistability near the boundary of this regime, the multistability measure has been calculated and its dependence on the noise intensity has been obtained. In addition, for fixed moments of time, the basins of attraction of the synchronous and asynchronous regimes have been received for one of the systems driven by noise for fixed initial conditions of the other system. The result of the work is a proof of the presence of multistability near the boundary of noise-induced synchronization. Conclusion. It is shown that the regime of intermittent noise-induced synchronization, as well as the regime of intermittent generalized synchronization, is characterized by multistability, which manifests itself in this case as the existence in the same time interval of the synchronous behavior in one pair of systems being under influence of a common noise source, whereas in the other pair the asynchronous behavior is observed. The found effect is typical for both flow systems and discrete maps being under influence of a common noise source. It can find an application in the information and telecommunication systems for improvement the methods for secure information transmission based on the phenomenon of chaotic synchronization.

Background and Objectives: In this paper, we consider the general case of the establishment/destruction of a completely synchronous state of phase oscillator networks with topologies of links such as “ring” and “small world”. The natural frequencies of the node oscillators are supposed to be distributed along the network according to an arbitrary law. Materials and Methods: The network of Kuramoto oscillators, consisting of 1000 node elements, was considered as the system under study theoretically and numerically. Results: The influence of quantitative characteristics of the dependence of natural frequencies on the number (spatial coordinate) of the oscillator on the onset of a completely synchronous state of the network of phase oscillators as well as the mechanism of the transition to a completely synchronous regime has been studied. An analytical expression forthe critical value ofthe coupling parameter correspondingtothe establishment of a fully synchronous regime within the network under consideration has been deduced. The theoretical results obtained have been compared with the results of the direct numerical simulation of the oscillator network behavior, with the excellent agreement being observed. Conclusion: It has been found that the dependence of the natural frequencies of oscillators on the spatial coordinate (or, on the number of the oscillator in the network) in the case of networks with the topology of links such as “ring” and “small world” determines completely the properties of such networks from the point of view of establishing the phase synchronization. Having based on the “ring” and “small world” network properties, it is possible to solve not only the problem of finding the critical value of the coupling parameter for the known frequency dependences on the coordinate, but also the problem of synthesizing such networks with the predetermined properties.

Data on the relationship of headaches with Internet addiction is rather inconsistent. Purpose: to establish common risk factors for the development of various types of Internet addiction and primary types of headache. Materials and methods. 5195 schoolchildren aged 11-18 in Siberia were examined. Internet addiction and its types were determined using the Chen questionnaire, Game Addiction Scale and The Social Media Disorder Scale; Type of headache (migraine or tension headache) – according to the questionnaire of S.Yu. Tereshchenko, based on The International Classification of Headache Disorders, 3rd edition (beta version), 2013; Mental disorders – in computerized testing in the program “The Development and Well-Being Assessment” (DAWBA, R. Goodman et al.) Results. It has been established that Internet addiction occurs 6 times more often in migraine and 3 times more often in tension headache. However, this relationship is only observed for Social Media Disorder. The connection of headaches with Game Addiction has not been revealed. At the same times headaches (especially migraine) and Internet addiction (predominantly social media disorder) have a common comorbid pathology and risk factors: recurrent abdomen pain, back pain, insomnia, daytime sleepiness, gastroesophageal reflux disease, asthenic syndrome, emotional problems, hyperactivity, high prognosis of mental pathology.

The purpose of the study. To study the influence of various metabolic syndrome clusters on the severity of situational and personal anxiety. Materials and methods. The study included 136 patients, including 60 with metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome was diagnosed based on the criteria of clinical recommendations of the All-Russian Scientific Society of Cardiology in 2009. The severity of personal and situational anxiety was assessed using the scale of self-assessment of the level of anxiety by Ch.D. Spielberger modified by Yu.L. Khanina. Results. It was established that in the examined groups of men, the median scores of both personal and situational anxieties corresponded to a moderate level. The most common variant of metabolic syndrome among men with high and moderate levels of situational and personal anxiety was its three-component combination. Among men with moderate and high levels of situational anxiety, there were statistically significantly more people with 5 or more metabolic syndrome components compared to patients with low levels. Conclusion. The combination of central obesity, arterial hypertension, and lipid disorders characterized by high levels of low-density lipoprotein was the most common cluster of MS among men with high and moderate levels of situational and personal anxiety.

In yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, there are two translation termination factors, eRF1 (Sup45) and eRF3 (Sup35), which are essential for viability. Previous studies have revealed that presence of nonsense mutations in these genes leads to amplification of mutant alleles (sup35-n and sup45-n), which appears to be necessary for the viability of such cells. However, the mechanism of this phenomenon remained unclear. In this study, we used RNA-Seq and proteome analysis to reveal the complete set of gene expression changes that occur during cellular adaptation to the introduction of the sup35-218 nonsense allele. Our analysis demonstrated significant changes in the transcription of genes that control the cell cycle: decreases in the expression of genes of the anaphase promoting complex APC/C (APC9, CDC23) and their activator CDC20, and increases in the expression of the transcription factor FKH1, the main cell cycle kinase CDC28, and cyclins that induce DNA biosynthesis. We propose a model according to which yeast adaptation to nonsense mutations in the translation termination factor genes occurs as a result of a delayed cell cycle progression beyond the G2-M stage, which leads to an extension of the S and G2 phases and an increase in the number of copies of the mutant sup35-n allele.

The article is aimed at the analysis of a linguistic problem of the use of Anglo-American loanwords in the Ukrainian language connected with the English globalisation and transformation into the language of international communication. The authors argue that the Anglo-Americanisms can be transferable to the original Ukrainian synonymous words because there are analogues and one-word equivalents for them. The youth slang is considered as a separate part of the national language, which represents the development of society. Therefore, the authors make an attempt to identify its role in globalisation processes. The hypothesis of the research is that the use of Anglo-Americanisms depends on the age, gender and educational dimensions. The analysis of linguistic behaviour based on empirical data was carried out. In order to achieve the aim of the research, a set of scientific methods was used, namely: analysis, synthesis, comparing, generalisation, questioning and interviewing. The study involved 300 people, 150 women and 150 men. Gender has a certain influence on the degree of the use of Anglo-Americanisms in the speech of youth: young men use English loans more often than young women. The participants were divided into two age groups of 17-18 years old and 19-20 years old. The difference between two groups is not significant. Participants were also subdivided into two groups depending on the factor where they received their education. One group consisted of the students studying in higher educational institutions, and the second one was made up of students from colleges and technical schools. The loanwords are typical of the speech of all the young people regardless of their speciality. The youth slang affects the use of English loanwords in the Ukrainian language. The majority of respondents (64%) showed the increasing number of Anglo-Americanisms in their vocabulary. Most of young people prefer them to the Ukrainian equivalents. The Ukrainian youth slang is full of Anglo-Americanisms and this process is getting more intense.
