In the research, it is aimed to reveal the general tendency as a result of examining the postgraduate theses made in Turkey on the Quality of School Life between the years 2015-2021 under certain themes. In data collection, the "document analysis" technique of the qualitative method was used. The sample of the research consists of 20 postgraduate theses published on the Quality of School Life in 2015-2021. The analysis of data was made according to the content analysis. As a result, in "master" type, in "2019", in "Sense of Belonging to School", in "Ankara", in "Gazi, Çukurova and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Universities", under the supervision of "Dr. It has been observed that more studies have been carried out in the Department. "Relational screening design", "stratified sampling method", "independent groups t-test" and "one-way analysis of variance" were mostly used in theses. It was observed that the sample consisted mostly of "secondary school" students and the "Quality of School Life (Sarı, 2007)" scale was preferred the most. The results were interpreted and discussed in the light of the findings, and suggestions were made for future studies. Günümüzde muhasebe bilimine akademisyenler ve uygulayıcıların bilgi ve tecrübelerini aktarmalarının sağlanması; muhasebe biliminin teorik ve pratik açıdan geliştirilmesine yardımcı olmakta ve mevcut ekonomik ve ticari hayattaki etkinliğini arttırıcı yönde hak ettiği değeri bulması amacıyla ulusal ve uluslararası faaliyetler gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye de MÖDAV (Muhasebe Öğretim Üyeleri Bilim ve Dayanışma Vakfı) ile Avrupa’da faaliyet gösteren Avrupa Muhasebeciler Birliği ‘nin EAA (European Accounting Association) 2019 ve 2021 yılında yapmış oldukları uluslararası muhasebe kongresin de yayınlanan bildirileri içerik analizi yaparak karşılaştırmaktır. Çalışmayla kongrelerde yayınlanan 1544 bildiri; konularına, yazar sayılarına, yazarların unvanlarına, kongreye katılan ülkeler, ülkelerin sundukları bildiri sayıları ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca, bildirilerin makaleye dönüşenleri ve bu makalelerdeki ilk anahtar kelimeler analiz edilmiştir. Bu çalışma kapsamında elde edilen sonuçlara göre, MÖDAV’ın 2021 yılında düzenlediği kongrede 41 bildiri yayınlanırken, EAA’nın 2021 yılında düzenlediği kongrede 780 bildiri yayınlanmıştır. Kongrelerde konu dağılımları benzerlik göstermektedir. İncelenen yıllar kapsamında EAA’nın düzenlediği kongrelere 52 ülke katılırken, MÖDAV’ınkine ise yalnızca 7 ülke katılmıştır.

Sosyal medya platformlarının sunduğu paylaşım formatları ve genç nesillerin haber tüketim pratikleri göz önünde bulundurularak milyonlarca kişi tarafından kullanılan Tiktok platformunu; gazetecilik kültürü, haber üretimi, haber tüketimi ve gazeteciliğin geleceği çerçevesinde tahlil etmenin önemli olacağı düşünülmüştür. Tiktok’ta yapılan paylaşımları diğer sosyal medya platformlarından ayıran özelliklerinden birisi içerik temalarının genelinde eğlence unsurlarının bulunmasıdır. Bu bilgilere dayanarak oluşturulan iki temel araştırma sorusu şöyledir: Tiktok’un demografik yapısı ve platformun yapısal imkânları, haber üretim süreçlerini belirlemekte midir? Farklı ülkelerin yaygın gazetelerinin Tiktok paylaşımlarındaki ortak ve ayrışan noktalar nelerdir? Araştırmada yöntem olarak içerik analizi tercih edilmiş ve The Washington Post, Daily Mail ve Hürriyet’in Tiktok paylaşımları incelenmiştir. 2021 yılı başından başlamak üzere her üç gazeteden yapılan 50 Tiktok paylaşımı, toplamda 150 paylaşım platforma hâkim tasarım, tür, içerik düzenleme olanakları, dil ve etkileşim bağlamında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda gazetelerin, Tiktok paylaşımlarında genellikle renkli haberleri tercih ettiği, ciddi haberler ele alındığında ise platformun yapısına uygun olarak eğlenceli, nüktedan, komedi unsurları barındıran bir dile başvurduğu saptanmıştır. Ayrıca gazetecilerin, kalıplaşmış gazeteci kimliğinin sınırları dışında sosyal medyada yaygınlaşan “fenomen” davranışlarını sergilemesi ve Tiktok’ta yer alan filtreler, efektler ve metin bileşenlerinde yapılabilen değişikliklerin fiziki gerçeklik ile sunulan görüntüler arasındaki ilişkinin uzaklaşmasına yol açması çalışmanın önemli çıktıları arasında yer almıştır.

“Bahar” olgusuyla kavramsallaştırılan Arap halk-rejim çatışmaları, özgürlükler ve ekonomik refah adına değişim isteğiyle başladı. Arap Baharı en yıkıcı etkisini devrimci-cumhuriyetçi ülkelerde göstermiştir. Tunus ve Mısır’da kısa süren Bahar, iç dinamiklerin gücü oranında şekillenmiştir. Libya ve Suriye’de Bahar süreci uzadıkça bölgesel ve küresel güçleri içine çekmiştir. Halk-rejim çatışmalarının güvenlik ve insani boyutu Türkiye’yi sürecin içine çekerken, İran’ın mezhepsel yayılmacılığına da yeni bir kapı açmıştır. Bu bağlamda, farklı nedenlerle Bahar sürecine müdahil olan Türkiye ile İran’ın bu dış politika açılımları Arap basınına nasıl yansıdı, sorusunu akla getirmiştir. Makalede Arap basını örneklemlerinden çıkarılan verilere içerik analizi (İA) ve söylem analizi (SA) uygulanarak karma bir yöntem kullanılmıştır. Analiz birimi olarak da gazetelerin haber çerçevelemeleri yerine, köşe yazıları tercih edilmiştir. Arap Baharı’na yönelik Türk-İran dış politika açılımlarının ağırlıklı olarak milliyetçi ve İslamcı yazarlar tarafından köşe yazılarına taşındığı tespit edilmiştir. Milliyetçi söylemi ‘ne Türk Sultanı ne İran Mollası’ şeklinde özetlemek mümkündür. İslamcı yazarların bu konuda ses tonları çok daha düşüktür. Türk siyasal İslam modelini şartlı olarak kabul eden İslamcılar, İran’ın mezhep eksenli modeli ve yayılmacılığının Sünni bir ittifakla durdurulmasını önermektedir.

Bu çalışmanın amacı yönetim ve organizasyon alanının önemli çalışma konularından birisi olan işe bağlılık kavramının, lisansüstü tezlerine nasıl yansıdığını tespit etmeye çalışmaktır. Çalışmada, tezlerin türü, yılı, üniversite, üniversitenin türü, danışmanın unvanı, araştırma yöntemi, örneklemi, örneklem büyüklüğü, birlikte çalışıldığı değişkenler, toplam değişken sayısına ve İngilizce başlıkta kullanılan ifadeye göre olmak üzere 12 özelliğe göre incelenmiştir. Son olarak, tezlerin ve kullanılan değişkene göre dağılımını göstermek için çapraz tablo yapılmıştır. 1996-2021 yılları arasında toplam 41 tez yazıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda doktora tezi olarak konunun çok az çalışıldığı ve tüm tezlerin nicel araştırma yöntemleri kullanılarak analiz edildiği gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışmanın gelecek dönemlerde işe bağlılık ile ilgili yazılacak tezlere katkısı olacağı düşünülmektedir.

ÖZ: Muhasebe sisteminin ürettiği bilgiler ve veriler, ekonomide ve sektörde yaşanan değişimlerin yanı sıra, işletme içinde alınan kararların şirket yapısı ve faaliyet sonuçları üzerine etkilerini de yansıtmaktadır. Şirketlerin piyasada karşılaştıkları riskler finansal bilgi kullanıcıları için önem arz etmektedir. Bu konuda uluslararası muhasebe uygulamasına yönelik oluşturulan standartlar da, kamuoyuna açıklanacak bilgilerde şirketlerin maruz kaldıkları riskleri içermesi gerektiğini belirtmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de finansal tablolarını uluslararası muhasebe standartlarına göre düzenleyen şirketlerin risk açıklamalarını analiz etmek ve muhasebe verileri ile risk arasındaki ilişkiye ışık tutmaktır. Bu kapsamda BİST İmalat sektöründe yer alan şirketlerin 2020 yılına ilişkin risk açıklamaları, içerik yönünden analize tabi tutulmuştur. Analiz soncunda, TFRS 9 da yer alan türev ürünler ile riskten korunma muhasebesinin finansal tablolardaki durumu ile TFRS 7’de yer alan finansal araçlardan kaynaklanan risk çeşitleri ile ilgili veriler ortaya konulmuştur. Buna göre, şirketlerin %32’sinin türev araç kullandığı, %20’sinin riskten korunma muhasebesi uyguladığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca şirketlerin, 2020 yılına ilişkin kredi, likidite, piyasa ve diğer risk açıklamalarına ilişkin, nitel ve nicel açıklama verileri de analiz edilmiştir. Dipnotlarda finansal araçlardan kaynaklanan riskler bölümünde, en çok verinin yabancı para riski ile ilgili olduğu saptanmıştır. Kredi riski açıklamaları yapan şirketlerin %50’sinin vade analizi yapmadığı görülmüştür. Son olarak faiz oranı riski, diğer fiyat riski ve sermaye riskine yönelik açıklamalar da, içerik yönünden analiz edilmiştir. ABSTRACT: The information and data produced by the accounting system reflects the changes in the economy and the sector, as well as the effects of the decisions taken within the company on the business structure and operating results. The risks that companies face in the market are important for financial information users. The standards established for an international accounting practice in this regard also state that the information to be disclosed to the public should include the risks that companies are exposed to. The aim of this study is to analyze the risk disclosures of companies that prepare their financial statements according to international accounting standards in Turkey and to shed light on the relationship between accounting data and risk. In this context, the risk disclosure of companies in the BIST Manufacturing sector for 2020 were analyzed in terms of content. As a result of the analysis, data on the derivatives in IFRS 9 and the status of hedge accounting in financial statements and the risk types arising from financial instruments in IFRS 7 are presented. Accordingly, it has been determined that 32% of the companies use derivative instruments and 20% apply hedge accounting. In addition, qualitative and quantitative disclosure data of companies regarding credit, liquidity, market and other risk disclosures for 2020 were also analyzed. In the footnotes section of the risks arising from financial instruments, it was determined that the most data was related to the foreign currency risk. It has been observed that 50% of the companies that make credit risk disclosures do not make maturity analysis. Finally, the explanations on interest rate risk, other price risk and capital risk were analyzed in terms of content.

Sponsorship is a communication tool in progress in today's world where globalization and competition show an upward trend. Sponsor brands provide benefits for the community and the brand image through their sponsorship activities, while they make contributions to the public relations goals of the corporation. As one of the sponsorship types, sports sponsorship has also become more prominent with the development of the media. In the literature, there are many studies on sports sponsorship and sponsorship. However, it is seen that there is no study that characterizes sports sponsors as healthy and unhealthy in Turkey. The aim of this research is to describe which brands that sponsor the football teams in the Turkish Spor Toto Super League in the 2021-2022 season are healthy and unhealthy. The original value of the research is that such a study has not been conducted in Turkey and for Turkish football teams. The data were content analyzed between April 12-26, 2022, based on the sponsorships specified on the web pages of the football teams. As a result of the study, it was seen that the sponsorship was mostly the food sector, while the security sector received the least. The aim of the research is to determine the type, language used, quality, data collection method, year, scale used, sample group, analysis methods used, type of variable used, related dependent, independent, mediator and regulatory studies of the studies on job embeddedness in the national literature until 05.09.2022 is to examine the variables in terms of criteria such as the direction of the correlation between the variables. In the research, a total of fifty-eight (58) studies, consisting of articles, thesis, papers and book chapters, were examined. Content analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. According to the findings, it was found that the most of the studies on job embeddedness were in the type of articles, the Turkish language was used the most in terms of the language used, the majority of the studies consisted of quantitative research, the most survey technique was used as the data collection technique, the majority of the studies were conducted between the years 2016-2021 ıt was found that between the years. It was determined that only international scales were used in the studies, and the sample of tourism sector workers was preferred more. In the researches, it has been determined that the concept of job embeddedness is mostly used in the role of the dependent variable and is most frequently associated with the variables of perceived organizational support, intention to leave and burnout. It has been determined that job embeddedness has a negative relationship with perceived organizational support and positive turnover intention and burnout variable. Today, the achievement of businesses is not only measured by whether they make a profit or not but also by the usefulness they provide to society and the environment and their contribution to sustainability. It is investigated whether the voluntary use of an environmental standard assessment system by companies in the pharmaceutical industry can help reduce the adverse effect on the environment in developing countries and what level of data reporting should be required by these companies for environmental implementations in this study. The study is aimed to draw attention to the importance given to environmental practices, whether the damage to the environment can be reduced or not, to emphasize companies compared to each other, which practices and measures boosted by companies, and examine the usability of the reports. For this purpose, the 2020 sustainability reports of 15 companies operating in the pharmaceutical industry in Turkey and the world and voluntarily publishing sustainability reports within the scope of GRI were subjected to content analysis. In conclusion, these guidelines have provided a robust and readily tool for businesses to report their environmental performance and comprehensive progress in all aspects of environmental activities. Although the companies make reasonable efforts to explain their environmental activities following the GRI Sustainability Reporting Guide is observed, reports do not fully reflect the situation of the companies in terms of environmental impacts since the reporting is at the initiative of the enterprise. The purpose of this study is to investigate how effectively the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System is implemented in SMEs within the framework of the updates (e.g., risk based thinking) that came with its latest version and to reveal the challenges for the implementation of the system. In the study, it was also aimed to explain why SMEs need a quality management system and to develop suggestions for improvements that can be made to increase the success of the implementation. In the study, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System applications were examined in 22 SMEs operating in Kayseri province, and their adaptation to the new concepts and issues in the standard, the nonconformities and the difficulties they encountered in practice were evaluated. In this context, interviews were conducted accordance with a predefined interview protocol to collect data, thereby validating the reliability of the research. Qualitative data collected via a semi-structured questionnaire were transformed into findings with descriptive statistics and content analysis. In this study, on the basis of new concepts and themes introduced with the ISO 9001:2015 version, especially such new themes as "business planning and strategic direction", "process risk", "product and service risk", "risk associated with the control of externally provided process, product and service" were examined in detail through PDCA cycle and identified the extent to which these themes were applied in SMEs with evidences. In terms of adaptation of SMEs to these changes, different practices were observed according to firm scale. As the size of SMEs increased, the reactions to the changes in the ISO 9001 standard were welcomed and the effiency of the implementation increased. It was observed that there were nonconformities in the implementation of the process approach in the quality management system, leadership and commitment, competence, awareness, internal audit and determining risks and opportunities. The challenges experienced by SMEs in applying and maintaining the standard were determined as follows: Different interpretation of the concepts in the ISO 9001 standard by individuals, too much documentation, lack of awareness for the importance of the standard, lack of motivation, and inadequacy of Standard training. This study aims to examine the metaphorical perceptions of pre-service English teachers on English grammar teaching. Participants of the study consist of 52 preservice teachers attending the Department of English Language Teaching (ELT) at Trakya University in the 2020-2021 academic year, and they were selected by convenience sampling method. Participants were asked the question 'English grammar teaching is like......, because....' after they had micro-teaching experience on grammar teaching. The metaphors were compared and analyzed by content analysis method. A total of 31 valid metaphors were generated in line with the data gathered, and these metaphors were defined and classified under three conceptual themes. The results of the study revealed that pre-service English teachers perceived grammar teaching as a phenomenon involving interrelated subjects, being necessary and facilitated by practice. In this sense, the results of the study revealed that it would be effective to support theoretical courses on grammar teaching by practice in the current ELT programs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Being one of the most commonly used and discussed communication technologies, artificial intelligence has been defined as both a machine intelligence that can be applied to business, presented by humanoid and non-humanoid robots, to promote and advance operational efficiency and a communication technology that can be used to communicate highly complicated applications and technological development via a machine displaying human mental functions like problem-solving, learning, and reasoning. The purpose of this study is to investigate how frequently artificial intelligence is employed in Turkey master's theses and Ph.D. dissertations, with a particular focus on how it is represented in the field of communication. The study is being developed in accordance with this goal by reviewing at postgraduate theses based on artificial intelligence that are permitted between 2019 and 2021 in the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center. By using the content analysis method, quantitative data pertinent to the analyzed theses have been collected. The detailed and advanced search has conducted by being used artificial intelligence keyword. Of all examined theses regarding artificial intelligence in the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center, the communication field's theses rate is only four percent. Furthermore, it is observed that thesis rate by years and interest to artificial intelligence has increased. Among departments of Social Science, the most theses written fields are communication, business, and economy. On the other hand, computer engineering is by far the most thesis written field including social, physical and health sciences. It is observed that in communication fields while Radio Cinema and Television and subsequently Public Relations fields are the most artificial intelligence based thesis, Journalism, Communication Design and Management and New Media fields are not found artificial intelligence based thesis. In this study, it is aimed to reveal the level of effective use of the websites of the facilities authorized in the field of health tourism, to determine whether there is a difference in usage levels according to the type of the facility and the region in which it operates, to compare them in terms of service delivery, and to contribute to the relevant knowledge by revealing the current situation in this framework. The information on the websites of 169 health facilities that were evaluated within the scope of the research and received the relevant authorization certificate from the Ministry of Health was examined by content analysis method. In the evaluation, 23 criteria obtained from the literature and five groups consisting of these criteria, namely communication, facilitation, institutional information, personnel information, accommodation, and health service information were used. As a result of analyzes, it was found that the websites of health facilities mostly included the criteria of in-site search feature, vision and mission, and institutional information content. It has been concluded that the websites of tertiary health facilities mostly included the mentioned criteria, and in terms of groups, almost all the facilities mostly included the corporate information group in their websites. Other prominent results are that the criteria of in-site search feature, a foreign language option and social networking links differed by the region and the type of health facility. This study aims to detect and analyze the changes of social media, which has become one of the most important actors of the media ecology by examining and categorizing the blog contents of Instagram, one of the most popular social media platforms in Turkey. Following a literature review on media ecology, strategic communications, and social media, it investigated the contents of Instagram's official blog through the research questions based on the target audience and strategic communications. The aim of the study is to analyze Instagram's strategic communication approach within the context of media ecology, and to analyze its communication strategy to be able to effectively reach its target audience with a special focus on its official blog. To answer the research questions of the study, content analysis was carried out with MAXQDA 2018. Two main chategories are obtained: Trade-oriented and engagement-oriented posts. The results show that to be able to sustain its popularity and success as a socialization and business platform, Instagram aims to addresss a variety of users, and embraces crucial keywords such as up-to-dateness, reciprocity, and inclusivity in its communication strategy, while adapting its communication strategy.
