Immunosuppressive therapy (IMT) is the cornerstone of treatment after transplantation. The goal of immunosuppression is to prevent acute and chronic rejection while maximizing patient survival and long-term graft function. However, the expected effects of IMT must be balanced against the major adverse effects of these drugs and their toxicity. The purpose of this review is to summarize world experience on current immunosuppressive strategies and to assess their effects on renal function.

Background. Robot-assisted pelvic surgery rapidly becomes a choice in surgeries for gynaecological oncology and urology. These interventions require special settings (pneumoperitonaeum and Trendelenburg position), which inevitably and systemically impact oxygen transport. Low oxygen delivery during surgery associates with manifold adverse outcomes. A single universal oxygen delivery threshold is impractical, as oxygen consumption must be taken into account. This study examines the effects of pneumoperitonaeum and Trendelenburg position on oxygen transport in patients of ASA functional class I–III (as per American Society of Anaesthesiologists).Materials and methods. Delivery, consumption, oxygen extraction, perioperative adverse events and type of general anaesthesia were prospectively studied in 126 adult patients. Results and discussion. Mean oxygen consumption was 242 mL/min/m2 , mean oxygen delivery — 612 mL/min/m2 . Oxygen delivery was below median 529 mL/min/m2 in 54 (43 %) patients. Perioperative adverse events developed in 36 (29 %) patients. A strong correlation (r > 0.500; p

Background. Gastric cancer is the world 5th top malignancy, with treatment success largely conditioned by comorbidity. Patients with end-stage renal failure developed with chronic kidney disease could not expect a specialty cancer treatment before the advent of long-term haemodialysis.Aim. A case description of successful perioperative therapy and surgery in a long-term haemodialysis patient performed by a multi-specialty team of oncologists and transplantologists.Materials and methods. We case-illustrate surgical treatment options in a gastric cancer patient with long-term haemodialysis. Results and discussion. A specialty oncological treatment of end-stage renal failure patients requiring long-term haemodialysis is a complex multidisciplinary task feasible in hospitals equipped for different haemodialysis regimens. The treatment plan should be laid out by a multi-specialty team, as chronic kidney disease influences the choice of the drug class, dosage and administration mode. Moreover, such patients need laboratory (control of acid-base balance, haemoglobin, electrolytes, creatinine and urea) and clinical (body weight, liquid balance, etc.) monitoring.Conclusion. Perioperative management studies in gastric cancer and chronic kidney disease-comorbid patients under long-term haemodialysis is a promising area of combining eff ort in oncology and transplantation science. Further research is needed in this topic for data enrichment and analysis in complex comorbidity patients.

Introduction. The most effective binding agents in wood-polymer composites based on polyvinyl chloride are carboncontaining nanostructures, which improve the electrical, physical-mechanical, rheological properties, as well as the structure and durability of the composites. Their main disadvantage is a high degree of particle aggregation, which makes it difficult to mix and process them in polymer compositions. In this regard, an urgent task is to search for such carbon nanomodifiers that would have a low degree of aggregation and low cost. Methods and materials. The paper studies the effectiveness of mechanically activated petroleum cokes as binding agents in building wood-polymer composites based on polyvinyl chloride. Mechanical activation leads to the functionalization of carbon particles of coke with the formation of oxygen-containing groups on the surface. The effect of various amounts of coke (up to 10% of the mass of wood flour) is considered and the relationship between the nature of coke and their concentration in the polymer compositions with the main technological (melt flow) and operational (tensile and bending strength, high elasticity modulus, hardness, water absorption and thermal stability) indicators and supramolecular structure of woodpolymer composites has been identified. Results and discussion. With the introduction of cokes, a high degree of orientation of the supramolecular structures of the composites in the direction of extrusion of the samples is observed, which leads to an increase in the breaking strength and bending strength, as well as the high elasticity modulus. The optimal concentration of additives was determined from 0.1 to 5%. In relation to wood flour, the amount of which in the wood-polymer composition is 50 mass parts per 100 mass parts PVC. Conclusion. The introduction of mechanically activated petroleum cokes as binding agents in wood-polymer composites based on polyvinyl chloride has been carried out. Mechanical activation made it possible to reduce the aggregation of coke particles into larger agglomerates, which makes it possible to efficiently introduce the nanomodifier in dry form and to exclude the introduction of nanomodifier in the form of aqueous dispersions, which is a rather energy-intensive production operation.

Objective: to evaluate the clinical efficacy and outcomes of kidney transplants performed using an alternative immunosuppressive therapy protocol that is based on double induction. Materials and methods. We examined 296 cases of kidney transplants performed in 295 patients between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2018. Based on induction immunosuppressive therapy regimen, the patients were divided into two groups. Group 1 included patients who underwent transplantation from January 1, 2004 to June 30, 2013 and who used the standard induction immunosuppression protocol. Group 2 included patients who did transplant surgeries between the period January 7, 2013 and December 31, 2018 and who received the “double” induction protocol being analyzed. The method of dividing patients into these groups is associated with routine implementation of the analyzed protocol at the transplantation center since July 1, 2013. Results. Graft and recipient survival rates at all follow-up periods were higher in the group of patients who received the “double” induction immunosuppressive protocol than in the standard group. The studied protocol provides initially better and more stable graft function than in standard therapy. This is especially valuable in centers experiencing difficulties in assessing pre-transplant immunological risk. The graft and recipient survival rates achieved by the analyzed protocol are more pronounced in deceaseddonor kidney transplantation. Conclusion. Positive results obtained from retrospective analysis of the protocol under study justify a prospective randomized study.

This paper presents the results of the identification procedure certification and subsequent quantitative determination of the active ingredients of two-component injectable medicines (active ingredient and solvent) using Raman spectroscopy. The main objective of the research was to select approaches for estimating the metrological characteristics of the measurement procedure, which include consideration of the methodological parameters and provide the metrological traceability of measurement results to SI units. According to this purpose, the GVET 176‑1‑2010 State Secondary Measurement Standard for units of mass fraction, mass (molar) concentration of components in solid and liquid substances and materials based on volumetric titration was used. The following substances were chosen as the research objects for estimating the metrological characteristics of the measurement procedure: ascorbic acid, novocaine and sodium thiosulphate. The authors of the work have demonstrated the measurement-procedure certification results, whose accurate determination was confirmed by the results of interlaboratory comparisons. The obtained results confirmed the accuracy of the identification procedure and subsequent quantitative determination, which proves its applicability for the determination of the active ingredients in two-component injectable medicines. In addition, the possibility of developing reference materials based on the medicines under study is indicated. Further development of this study may be directed at the development of an identification procedure and its certification, with subsequent quantitative determination of the active ingredients of injectable medicines having three components as well as those having a more complex composition.

General Medicine - Abstract
In the article, the authors presented the results of comprehensive studies in 2020 - 2022. on the study of different varieties of soybeans when grown up to granules. The experiments were carried out on heavy loamy grey forest soil with a humus content of 4.1% with a slight acid reaction of the medium (pH 6.28). The nitrate nitrogen concentration was 10 mg/100 g, mobile phosphorus 13.5 mg/100 g, and exchangeable potassium 8 mg/100 g. Different varieties of soybeans, according to their ecological and geographical origin, were sown in the third decade of May with a sowing rate of 500 thousand viable seeds per 1 ha, with harvesting in the third decade of September. The authors conducted phenological observations and determined the photosynthetic potential during the experimental work. The authors also determined the leaf areas of different soybean varieties, plant height, yield indicators and crop structure. The researchers noted that the accelerated growth and development rates occurred in the West Siberian types Omskaya 4, SibNIIK-315, Gorinskaya and Krasnoobskaya. Early maturing varieties of Far Eastern selection were distinguished by a long growing season of up to 120 days, with 85 days in Siberian varieties: Omskaya 4, Far Eastern selection Alena, and Kuban selection (Barguzin, Puma, Vita, Lira, Sayana). The authors observed a significant increase in yield to the standard in the Omskaya 4 - 21% variety. On the other hand, types of the Far Eastern and Kuban selection showed grain yield indicators 2–5 times lower than the SibNIIK-315 standard. The high parameters of the crop structure in the Siberian variety Omskaya 4 were determined by the number of beans from one plant and the mass of grains from one plant.

The authors in the article provided data on the use of different varieties and hybrids of cereals and legumes. The experiments were carried out in the forest steppe of the Novosibirsk Priobya region in 2020–2022. The studies were conducted on the leached chernozem of the Praktik EEF (Educational and Experimental Farm) of the Novosibirsk Region and CJSC Livestock Breeding Farm Irmen of the Ordynsky District Novosibirsk Region. Also, the authors conducted experiments in the steppe zone on the southern chernozem of Nadezhda LLC of the Bagansky district and on grey forest medium loamy soil of the Education and Production Farm (EPF) “Garden of Michurintsev” in Novosibirsk. The research aims to study the efficiency of using the modern gene pool of grain and leguminous crops in different zones of Western Siberia. The authors found that West Siberian selection soybean varieties had higher growth and development rates than the Doka standard for 4-6 days. During studies with F1 hybrids of corn, the authors also note increased indicators of biometric parameters: plant height, green mass, and cob weight - by 20% of the Ross 140 F1 standard. High yield parameters of corn grain on the leached chernozem of the forest-steppe zone (EEF Praktik) of hybrids Ross 199 F1 - 10.2, KS-178 F1 and Krasnodar 194 F1 - 9.79 t/ha were revealed, exceeding the Ross 140 F1 standard by 40– 47%. Corn grains of hybrids F1 Ross 199 - 6.03 t/ha, Krasnodar 194 - 5.67 and KS-178 - 5.52 t/ha differed in yield with an excess of the standard by 54% on the southern chernozem of the steppe zone of Nadezhda LLC The maximum yield of corn grain is in the hybrid F1 Kuban 101 and Katerina - at 9 t/ha on the leached chernozem of CJSC Irmen stud farm. The maximum yield of soybean grain is 3.44 t/ha for SibNIIK-9 and Gorinskaya on leached chernozem, which is higher than the standard for Doka by 67 and 57%. SibNIIK-9, Omskaya 4, and Gorinskaya were distinguished on grey forest medium loamy soil. The variety of the Far Eastern selection Alena and the early ripening varieties of the RRIO collection (All-Russian Research Institute of Oilseeds, named after V. S. Pustovoit, Krasnodar): Barguzin, Lira, Sonata, and Puma, had a developed above-ground mass and low grain productivity. It was statistically determined that the genotype determined the yield of corn grain by 39%, conditions of the year - by 25%, and interaction of factors - by 20%. In experiments with soybean on leached and southern chernozem, the grain yield depended on the genotype by 42%, the conditions of the year - by 27% and the interaction of factors - by 16%, on grey forest medium loamy soil, respectively, 47; 30 and 22%.

Paleo-anthropological research has its specificity closely related with studied objects. Their complicated shape arises from anatomical features of human skull and other skeletal bones. The degree of preservation is associated with the fragility of palaeo-anthropological material which usually has high historical and scientific value. The circumstances mentioned above enhance the relevance of photogrammetry implementation in anthropological studies. Thus, such combination of scientific methodologies with up-to-date technology creates a potential for improvement of various stages of palaeo-anthropological studies. This can be referred to accurate documenting of anthropological material and creation of databases accessible for wide range of users, predominantly research scientists and students; preservation of highly valuable samples and possibility of sharing information as 3D images or printed copies, improving co-operation of scientists world-wide; potential for replication of contact anthropometric studies on 3D images or printed copies providing for development of new biometric methods, and etc. This paper presents an approach based on photogrammetric techniques and non-contact measurements, providing technological and methodological development of paleo-anthropological studies, including data capturing, processing and representing.

General Medicine ,General Chemistry - Abstract
In the article, the authors presented the results of the experimental work (2019-2021) to study the application of differentiated fertilizer application on cereal crops. Western Siberia is a region with risky conditions for stable grain crop production. Soft spring wheat and spring barley are the primary crops for food and feed. Soft spring wheat and spring barley are also characterized by a high demand for the most important environmental factors, which are highly variable. Current trends in precision farming imply the need for different technological operations. These operations are differentiated both in time and by individual crop rotation fields. At the same time, operations take more fully into account the bio-resource potential of cultivated agricultural enterprises. And these operations also take into account soil and terrain features, which are controlled by the aggregates and their links to technological operations. In the field, the authors used aggregates with differentiated application rates of fertilizers or crop protection products. The yield mapping is an element of precision farming technology. This technology is achieved by signal sensors on combined and onboard computers and GPS receivers during the harvesting period. An accurate map of the field, showing the characteristics of each field section, enables rational resource allocation and increases yields from each section of the field. The availability of digital maps ensures the optimization of fertilizer, seed, and water application to each section of the field. Under the conditions of the JSC Livestock Breeding Farm Irmen, Ordynsiky district, Novosibirsk region, the data are entered into the on-board computer of agricultural equipment going into the field, and innovative control of technological processes in crop production is carried out through GPS navigation. The work aims to improve the technology of the application of differentiated fertilizers to grain crops in the precision agriculture system under forest-steppe conditions in the Novosibirsk region Priobye. The research was carried out in 2019-2021 in the soil and climatic zone of drained forest steppe on leached chernozem at JSC Livestock Breeding Farm «Irmen» on spring wheat varieties Novosibirskaya 31, Licamero, as well as the spring barley variety Paustian. The use of differentiated fertilizer application contributes to an increase in grain yield parameters of spring wheat by 36% and of spring barley varieties by 28%. The study showed that differential fertilizer application contributes to the improvement of grain quality parameters of soft spring wheat.

General Medicine ,General Chemistry - Abstract
At present, it is of particular importance to further increase the yield and quality of grain crops under experimental conditions in Western Siberia. Of special meaning is finding new effective growth regulators and bio-fertilizers that promote ecological plasticity, resistance to environmental stressors and pests. The work aims to study the influence of the new biofertilizer Huminatrin on growth and development features, yield and quality of grain crops under conditions of increasing crop productivity in the northern forest-steppe of the Novosibirsk Priobye region. Experimental field was on the fields of JSC “Irmen” livestock breeding farm in Ordynsky district of Novosibirsk region. The authors determined that Huminatrin (a mixture of micronutrients and bacteria) provides an increase in leaf surface parameters in two varieties of wheat by 23% and in spring barley by 34%. The authors treated soil with Huminatrin before sowing in a dose of 2 l/t at operating-liquid flow rate of 10 l/t and during the growing season in the phases of tillering and earing in a dose of 1.5 l/ha (300 l/ha). It was shown that both wheat varieties and spring barley variety “Biom” significantly increased the yield on the background of Huminatrin. On average, the yield increased by 22%. When using Huminatrin, the authors observed an increase in the number of productive stems (up to 408 mg/m2), the number of grains in the ear (up to 32 pcs), weight of 1000 grains (up to 40.86 g). There was also an increase in gluten content - up to 34%; gluten deformation index was about 96. In addition, the authors note the reduction of plant infestation by brown rust to 28% against 47% in the control (water). Indicators such as weight of 1000 grains, weight of grains per plant, the number of grains in the ear form the quality of the crop. Application of Huminatrin allows to achieve high yield quality of two varieties: spring soft wheat and spring barley

The authors conducted comprehensive research on evaluating heterosis hybrids of foreign selection of cabbage in the forest-steppe conditions of the Priob’ye region. We studied economically valuable features of promising mid-late cabbage hybrids and features of their cultivation on darkgrey forest soil. The research was conducted for two years. As a result of research, hybrids with maximum yield, resistance to mucus bacteriosis, and resistance to root cracking were identified. These hybrids give a high work of standard products, retain marketable qualities throughout the storage period, and contribute to a stable income due to the long sale period of commercial products. The reference hybrid Kohl’s F₁ is the highest yielding hybrid. The Arrivist F₁ hybrid is closer to the Kohl’s F₁ hybrid, with a yield lower by 4.4 t/ha. The other hybrids showed profits 1.1 (Galvatron F₁) and 1.35 (Ferro F1) times lower than the Kola F₁. The standard output was between 84% and 94%. The Arriwist F₁ and Ferro F₁ hybrids showed the best persistence. Due to the sound industry, the shelflife of these hybrids is five points. Thus, the authors distinguished the hybrids Arrivist F₁ and Kohl’s F₁ in commercial value and marketability. All the experimental hybrids were also distinguished for their cabbage. The hybrids Arriviste F₁ and Ferro F₁ showed high resistance to disease during cultivation and storage. All experimental hybrids are recommended for cultivation on vegetable farms and private households. The Ferro hybrid is the best marketability, palatability and storage period (until February). Arriviste F₁ is the best hybrid in terms of resistance to bacteriosis. The authors recommend growing and storing all the experimental hybrids to create a conveyor belt for cabbage sales during the winter-spring period.

The achievement of high yields is the primary objective of modern agricultural production. Increasing the volume of the farm output is the focus of every farmer’s attention. Maise is a highly productive crop with a wide range of applications. The food, industrial, and agro-technical importance of maise point to the need for continuous improvement of cultivation technologies, increasing yields and grain quality under local climate conditions to obtain the highest economic efficiency. The conditions of Western Siberia are characterised by insufficient moisture supply during the growing season. States in Western Siberia are represented by a pronounced continental character with cold, long winters and short, hot summers. Thus, insufficient moisture is a limiting factor for the yield of most crops, including maise, especially in some critical periods. In the present study, the authors evaluated maise yield and structure with and without irrigation. A positive effect of irrigation on the elements of maise yield (length, width and circumference of the cob, number of grains in the row and on the rim, weight of 1000 grains) was noted. The authors also note a significant increase in hybrid Kubansky 101 and Katerina SV yield. The biochemical composition of grain: dry matter, sugars, fat, starch, protein and dextyrins content was studied. It was found that the amount of dry weight in grain on rainfed fields is higher than on irrigated fields, while all other indicators are higher with irrigation.

The experience of horseshoe kidney transplant operations is significantly restricted. Transplant surgeons often refuse to use horseshoe kidney due to a number of serious abnormalities of vessels and upper urinary tract in these organs. However, the constant shortage of donor organs and an increase in patients on the waiting list for kidney transplantation make us reconsider our approach to the selection of donor organs. The aim of this work was to demonstrate our result of horseshoe kidney transplantation.

The work aims to study the effectiveness of herbicides application on potato varieties of different ripeness groups in the conditions northern forest-steppe of the Novosibirsk Ob region. The authors obtained experimental data on leached chernozem in Novosibirsk district, Novosibirsk region, in 2017-2019. In their studies, the authors used common elements of potato cultivation tech- nology. The general background for potatoes in autumn fertiliser was applied at a dose of P60K90. Nitrogen fertilisers were used at a rate of 60 kg/ha in spring under pre-sowing cultivation. Herbicides Gezagard, Lazurit, Zenkor, Boxer, and mixtures of individual herbicides were applied before and after sprouting when potato plants were up to 12-14 cm high. Herbicides significantly reduced the infestation of potato varieties Lubava (early) and Tuleevsky (medium-season). The authors showed that the use of herbicides accelerated the processes of growth and development of potato varieties of two groups of ripeness. There was a significant increase in leaf area, photosynthetic potential, and 23-28% plant productivity. On a background of herbicides increase of yield by 30-35% is observed. There was an increase in the marketability of tubers by 10%. Used herbicides provided good quality and preservation of potato production. The authors note that the double application of herbicides Zenkor and Lazurit offers high rates of weed reduction. Thus yield and quality of presentation have high indicators. In tubers of potatoes, the residual quantity of herbicides is not detected. Application of herbicides economically and energetically practical. The level of profitability exceeds control 1,4 times on a background of double spraying by herbicides Zenkor and Lazurit.

Aim. As part of a large-scale business transformation, Gazprom Neft is implementing new approaches to improving economic efficiency. One of such approaches is the launch of the “Renovation” project program, the purpose of which is to achieve maximum profitability of the basic well stock. The article describes the results of the study and formation of a set of measures to improve the economic efficiency of oil production at the fields of Gazpromneft-Khantos. Materials and methods. The key feature of “Renovation” is that the goal setting and the formation of key performance indicators of project teams are made not from the previously achieved result, but from the potential. To do this, a detailed technical and economic analysis of the factors affecting the profitability of oil production is first carried out, and the potential for increasing profitability is determined. After that, hypotheses are worked out to increase the economic efficiency of production and a set of measures is formed to realize the identified potential. The cross-functional teams of the “Renovation” program projects are formed around the core-team that includes specialists in geology, development, production, engineering, energy management, economics and IT. This allows teams to solve non-standard tasks in a short time, in a complex way, without attracting external leverage, which is an absolute competitive advantage. Results. The program of optimization measures developed by the cross-functional team of the Renovation project will provide the potential for the growth of the profitability of Gazpromneft-Khantos in the period from 2021 to 2030. Conclusions. The article presents the developed and implemented cases on reducing operating costs in various areas — geology and reservoir engineering, energy efficiency, oil production technologies, downhole operations and hydraulic fracturing, oilfield chemistry.

The aim of the work is to study the effectiveness of the use of trace elements on potato varieties of different ripeness groups in the northern forest-steppe Ob in the Novosibirsk region. Experimental data were obtained on leached black soil of Novosibirsk region in 2017–2019. The generally accepted technology of potato cultivation was used for the experiments. Since autumn, fertilizers at a dose of P90K90 were applied as a general background for potatoes. Nitrogen fertilizers (60 kg / ha) were applied in the spring for pre-sowing cultivation. Foliar dressing with microelements (Cu, B, Zn) was used at the beginning of the budding phase of potato plants: copper – 20, boron – 45, zinc – 50 g of active ingredient per 1 ha with a working fluid consumption of 300 l/ha. Trace elements increased the growth and development rates of potato varieties of three groups of ripeness. In varieties Liubava (early), Svitanok Kievsky (mid-early), Tuleevsky (mid-season), the use of trace elements contributed to an increase in the development indicators of the photosynthetic apparatus (maximum and average leaf area and plant productivity) by an average of 21%, especially against the background of boron and zinc. Foliar dressing of potatoes increased the yield parameters by an average of 24 % relative to the control (water). The increase in the marketability of tubers reached 12 %. A greater effect was achieved against the background of boron use: a significant increase in yield, dry matter, starch, vitamin C. In variants with microelements, the susceptibility of potatoes by rhizoctonysis decreased.

body regions - Abstract
The application of robotic assistance in pelvic surgery has become popular across multiple specialties during the past decades, facilitating minimally invasive surgery. The most remarkable challenges regarding these procedures are the carbon dioxide pneumoperitoneum and steep Trendelenburg position. The combination of two factors affects the patient additionally or synergistically and have important physiological effects on cardiovascular system. All those changes are usually well tolerated in patients with normal cardiac function, but it can be different in elderly patients or even in patients with underlying heart conditions. In order to provide the proper management of patients undergone the robotic surgery, we aim to thoroughly understand these effects and overview the risks and possible related cardiovascular complications. Further, a short introduction on dangerous areas of robot-assisted pelvic surgery will be briefly reviewed.

- Abstract
The article considers the factors influencing the stability of agrocenoses of corn hybrids in the forest-steppe zone of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The researches were carried out for three years in the zone of sharply continental climate of the Krasnoyarsk forest-steppe on leached low- and medium-thick chernozems. The main factors influencing the stability of agrocenoses of corn hybrids were determined. So the factor of climatic conditions affects the corn hybrids, its influence is no more than 14%. The factor of pre-sowing preparation and the precursor (cereals and fallow) showed not significant effect, no more than 2%, on the formation of agrocenoses of corn hybrids. Thus, the factor genotype of the hybrid was fundamental in determining its significance for agrocenoses. The main biometric factor that determines the productivity of corn hybrids was also identified. Correlation analysis made it possible to reveal the influence of the average plant height on the productivity index of corn, as well as on the ear weight. But at the same time, it was determined that the mass of corn ears decreases with an increase in the average height, in the structure of the crop agrocenoses of corn hybrids.

A series of ferrocenyl-substituted methyl ketones and chalcones were synthesized and converted to unsymmetrical 4,6-disubstituted pyrimidin-2-amines and 2-(1H-pyrrol-1-yl)pyrimidines in which the ferrocene fragment is separated from the pyrimidine ring by π-deficient (pyridine) or π-excessive (thiophene) heterocycle. The forbidden band gap of the obtained compounds was determined on the basis of their UV spectra ( $$E_{\text{g}}^{\text{opt}}$$ = 1.75‒2.36 eV), and their electrochemical properties were studied. The presence of a thiophene ring between the ferrocene and pyrimidine fragments reduces the redox potential of the ferrocene fragment (20‒30 mV), whereas pyridine spacer between the ferrocene and pyrimidine fragment increases the redox potential of the ferrocene fragment by more than 100 mV.

Comprehensive and accurate identification of structural variations (SVs) from next generation sequencing data remains a major challenge. We develop FusorSV, which uses a data mining approach to assess performance and merge callsets from an ensemble of SV-calling algorithms. It includes a fusion model built using analysis of 27 deep-coverage human genomes from the 1000 Genomes Project. We identify 843 novel SV calls that were not reported by the 1000 Genomes Project for these 27 samples. Experimental validation of a subset of these calls yields a validation rate of 86.7%. FusorSV is available at https://github.com/TheJacksonLaboratory/SVE. This paper presents the results of the identification procedure certification and subsequent quantitative determination of the active ingredients of two-component injectable medicines (active ingredient and solvent) using Raman spectroscopy. The main objective of the research was to select approaches for estimating the metrological characteristics of the measurement procedure, which include a consideration of the methodological parameters, along with a provision of the metrological traceability of measurement results to SI units. To this end, the GVET 176-1-2010 State Secondary Measurement Standard for units of mass fraction, mass (molar) concentration of components in solid and liquid substances and materials based on volumetric titration was used. The following substances were chosen as research objects for estimating the metrological characteristics of the measurement procedure: ascorbic acid, novocaine and sodium thiosulphate. The authors of the work have demonstrated the measurement-procedure certification results, whose accurate determination was confirmed by the results of interlaboratory comparisons. The obtained results confirmed the accuracy of the identification procedure and subsequent quantitative determination, hence its applicability for the determination of the active ingredients in two-component injectable medicines. In addition, the possibility of developing reference materials based on the medicines under study is indicated. Further development of this study may be directed at the development of an identification procedure and its certification, with subsequent quantitative determination of the active ingredients of injectable medicines having three components as well as those having a more complex composition.

A facile method for the synthesis of meta-substituted arylamines from acyclic precursors was developed. This method is based on three-component cyclo-condensation/aromatization of in situ generated imines of acetone with 1,3-diketones either under conventional heating or under microwave irradiation. The utility of this methodology is illustrated by the possibility of a gram scale synthesis of various anilines from readily available reagents.

ENCODE comprises thousands of functional genomics datasets, and the encyclopedia covers hundreds of cell types, providing a universal annotation for genome interpretation. However, for particular applications, it may be advantageous to use a customized annotation. Here, we develop such a custom annotation by leveraging advanced assays, such as eCLIP, Hi-C, and whole-genome STARR-seq on a number of data-rich ENCODE cell types. A key aspect of this annotation is comprehensive and experimentally derived networks of both transcription factors and RNA-binding proteins (TFs and RBPs). Cancer, a disease of system-wide dysregulation, is an ideal application for such a network-based annotation. Specifically, for cancer-associated cell types, we put regulators into hierarchies and measure their network change (rewiring) during oncogenesis. We also extensively survey TF-RBP crosstalk, highlighting how SUB1, a previously uncharacterized RBP, drives aberrant tumor expression and amplifies the effect of MYC, a well-known oncogenic TF. Furthermore, we show how our annotation allows us to place oncogenic transformations in the context of a broad cell space; here, many normal-to-tumor transitions move towards a stem-like state, while oncogene knockdowns show an opposing trend. Finally, we organize the resource into a coherent workflow to prioritize key elements and variants, in addition to regulators. We showcase the application of this prioritization to somatic burdening, cancer differential expression and GWAS. Targeted validations of the prioritized regulators, elements and variants using siRNA knockdowns, CRISPR-based editing, and luciferase assays demonstrate the value of the ENCODE resource., ENCODE is a resource comprising thousands of functional genomic datasets. Here, the authors present custom annotation within ENCODE for cancer, highlighting a workflow that can help prioritise key elements in oncogenesis.
