In this article, using multi-scale and perturbation methods, a partial differential model of Rossby solitary waves with complete Coriolis force effect is obtained, which is called the combined ZK-mZK equation. This equation can reflect the prop?agation characteristics of Rossby waves in space, and is more suitable for real oceans and atmosphere than the (1+1)-dimensional model. According to the pa?rameter composition of the new model, it can be seen that the effect of the complete Coriolis force affects not only the longitudinal structure of the model, but also the amplitude structure of the non-linear long wave.

The paper deals with a non-linear barotropic vorticity equation in a shear flow, the model is applied to get the non-linear Rossby solitary wave with the effects of topography and other external forcing. Basing on the perturbation method, the variable coefficient KdV equation is derived for Rossby waves. The periodic-like solution for the equation is obtained with the help of Jacobi elliptic functions, the solitary solutions can also be obtained in the limit case. The analysis indicates that the wave amplitude and velocity will be related to the topography effect. It is also shown that the external forcing plays an important role in evolution of the waves.

In the present paper, a new partial differential equation has been obtained to describe the Rossby solitary waves with complete Coriolis force by employing multi-scale analysis and perturbation method, we call it combined ZK-mZK equation. The equation can reflect the propagation of Rossby waves on the plane and is more appropriate for the real ocean and atmosphere than the $(1+1)$ dimensional models (such as KdV and mKdV), which can only represent the propagation of Rossby solitary waves in a line. Furthermore, by adopting the multiplier method, we construct conservation laws of the combined ZK-mZK equation, which is meaningful for researching the global stability of solutions. Finally, we deduce the exact solutions of the combined ZK-mZK equation via the semi-inverse variational principle. By applying these exact solutions, some propagation features of Rossby solitary waves are analyzed.

A new forced KdV equation including topography is derived and the numerical solutions are given. The topographic variable should be related with the temporal and spatial function, which is called unstable topography. The physical features of the solitary waves about the mass and energy are discussed by theoretical analysis. In further studies, the pseudo-spectral numerical methods are used to discuss the evolution of solitary wave generated by the topography when meridional wave number $$m=1$$ ; in a similar way, we analyze the solitary wave when meridional wave number $$m=2$$ . At last, we make the comparison for the characteristics of waves between $$m=1$$ and $$m=2$$ , the wave of meridional number $$m=1$$ plays a leading role.

New models using scale analysis and perturbation methods were derivated starting from the shallow water equations based on barotropic fluids. In the paper, to discuss the irregular topography with different magnitudes, especially considering the condition of the vast terrain, some modified quasi-geostrophic barotropic models were obtained. The unsteady terrain is more suitable to describe the motion of the fluid state of the earth because of the change of global climate and environment, so the modified models are more rational potential vorticity equations. If we do not consider the influence of topography and other factors, the models degenerate to the general quasi-geostrophic barotropic equations in the previous studies. La topografía inestable es más propicia para describir el movimiento del estado fluido de la tierra debido al cambio del clima y ambiente, por lo tanto los modelos modificados son ecuaciones de vorticidad potenciales más razonables. Si no se considera la influencia de la topografía y otros factores, los modelos se reducirían a las ecuaciones generales semigeostróficas barotrópicas de estudios anteriores.

Based on USB3.0, this paper presents the design method of an integrated test system for both infrared image data and laser signal data processing module. The core of the design is FPGA logic control, the design uses dual-chip DDR3 SDRAM to achieve high-speed laser data cache, and receive parallel LVDS image data through serial-to-parallel conversion chip, and it achieves high-speed data communication between the system and host computer through the USB3.0 bus. The experimental results show that the developed PC software realizes the real-time display of 14-bit LVDS original image after 14-to-8 bit conversion and JPEG2000 compressed image after decompression in software, and can realize the real-time display of the acquired laser signal data. The correctness of the test system design is verified, indicating that the interface link is normal.

In order to study the stress of box-girder web under prestressing, and confirming the internal stress distribution of the web, analyzing of vertical prestressed box girder, curved beam prestressed sensitivity under the webs. Establishing finite element model of the box-girder webs vertical prestressing effect is analyzed, results show that the principal tensile stress of the web is sensitive to the vertical prestress, applying the vertical prestress can effectively reduce the principal tensile stress of the web; with the decrease of the effective vertical prestress, the neutral axis above the principal compressive stress decreases rapidly, while below the neutral axis decreases relatively slow; Under the same vertical preloading stress level, the roots of cross section of the compressive stress of web reserves than L/4 section of the web.

Mean Shift algorithm basedon floating point arithmetic calculation is very difficult to be implemented onreal-time systems. Another problem is that the tracking window of Mean Shift isnot adaptive. In order to solve the problems above, an improved Mean Shiftwhich can be implemented on FPGA is presented. Firstly, Hardware/softwarepartitioning based on the complexity of the algorithm is determined theimplementation of SOPC. Secondly, A pipeline structure is employed for MeanShift algorithm to calculate and accumulate kernel function, shift vector andtarget area in a single clock cycle, and accuracy is above 99 percent. Finally,as floating point arithmetic is more time-consuming, custom floating-pointinstruction is added into CPU to improve the algorithm operation speed.Experimental results show that the presented method can adaptively updatetarget windows and track target in 4ms stably, which improve the efficiencyof program by 5 times.

In order to study the vertical pre-stressed girder under the action of perforation of the stress distribution characteristics, the paper simulated box beam web under the stress field affected by vertical pre-stressing forces using pairs of force acted on the long and narrow rectangular thin plate, deducted analytical solution to the vertical normal stress, and obtained the numerical solution through the least squares method. On the basis of the uniformity of vertical pre-stressing forces and stress level, the vertical pre-stress diffusive angle of the web fitting to engineering calculations was acquired. Through testing and finite element method simulating the vertical stress dispersive effect of the real bridge web, the result matched well with the deducted equation.

With the rapid development of network and electronic technology, systems which combine the integrated electronic technology with the network technology are gradually getting more attention. These systems can be connected to different hosts efficiently and can achieve high-speed data transmission. An implementation of Gigabit Ethernet based on SOPC is given in this paper. We construct the hardware platform with Quartus II 10.0, SOPC Builder and Nios II IDE. The software platform is established with Nios II IDE and Microsoft Visual studio 6.0. We also use the hardware and software co-design of SOPC technology by integrating Nios II core processors, and finally connect to the Gigabit Ethernet successfully and achieve data transmission based on TCP/IP protocol. The final result of experiment shows that Gigabit Ethernet based on SOPC has greatly increased the flexibility of system design and makes the upper application program more convenient.

This paper presents a method of target tracking based on SIFT and Kalman filter. SIFT algorithm has the ability to detect the invariant feature points which used in tracking and Kalman filter has the ability to predict the target location. Firstly, this paper uses SIFT to compute the location of target. Secondly, this paper uses Kalman filter to optimize the target location in order to correct the error of SIFT algorithm precisely. A fast target tracking algorithm based on connected component labeling and grey value statistics is proposed. First of all, nonlinear transformation is applied to perform enhancement for targets; and then adaptive threshold is applied to perform pre-processing division for the images; finally, target characteristics which are extracted through connected component labeling and grey value statistics are used to match the gray, the area and position of target, then pinpointing the target. Experimental results on the MATLAB software platform and the SOPC hardware platform show that it can perform real-time track accurately for the infrared small targets. This paper proposes an image quality evaluation model, in which the image distortion is analyzed quantificationally in wavelet domain. Properties of human visual system are incorporated into this model. Besides objective assessment, it simulates some visual perception features: visual nonlinear, band-pass visual sensitivity and visual multi-channels. It has simple structure and easy-to-use, experimental results show that the proposed model reflects image visual quality accurately and objectively.

This paper proposes a new compression framework for SAR images. A maximum a posteriori (MAP) estimator is first utilized for despeckling, and by using total variation (TV), the denoised SAR image is decomposed into structure and texture. Such two components undergo discrete wavelet transform and wavelet packet transform, respectively. And then, according to their unique characteristics, two different wavelet coding algorithms are presented to encode the respective component. Experimental results shown that the reconstructed image has good visual quality and the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) is excellent. (5 pages)

The hyperspectral imaging spectrometer can supply hundreds of narrow band spectral data, which has high spatial and spectral resolution, and meanwhile the amount of data becomes huge. Therefore, the efficient compression algorithms become necessary. According to the characteristics of hyperspectral images, spatial and spectral decorrelation is necessary before compression. In this paper, the characteristics of hyperspectral images are presented firstly. Secondly, the research on hyperspectral image decorrelation is summarized. Techniques based on prediction, techniques based on vector quantization, and techniques based on transform coding are presented here. Finally, the future development is referred.
