In the interconnected world, collaboration is the game changer. Agencies and firms, citizens and groups who can collaborate, will thrive in the networked world; those who cannot are doomed to perish. There is considerable evidence to suggest that collaboration is a necessary condition to drive innovation, particularly transformational innovation. The mining industry can harness the potential of collaboration to achieve more than just productivity gains, by focusing on sector-wide efficiency gains and moving over to the newer technology domains by handholding, which will benefit all the participants rather than give anyone a competitive advantage. The mining industry of minerals, aggregates oil, and gas will face new corporate growth and sustainability challenges in 2025. Coupled with the challenges of regulations, clearances, royalty and taxations, and a general public aversion they will also have to face downturns of the economy. In my earlier articles I discussed the near certainty of a US recession, US recessionary tendencies would overwhelm the world market, after the huge debt scenario and prolonged war situations in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. On top of the above, there is no real income growth in the middle and lower -middle-class population, after inflation adjustment-this would bring down consumption and spending. Zoonotic spillover events pose a significant and growing threat to global health. By focusing on preventing these cross-species transmissions, we can significantly mitigate pandemic risks. This review aims to analyze the mechanisms of zoonotic spillover events, identify key risk factors, and propose evidence-based prevention strategies to reduce future pandemic threats. Through a comprehensive literature review and analysis of major databases including PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus from 1960–2024, we examined documented spillover events, their outcomes, and intervention strategies. This article emphasizes that targeting the root cause—the spillover event itself—is key to averting future pandemics. By analyzing historical and contemporary outbreaks, we extract crucial insights into the dynamics of zoonotic transmission. Factors underlying these events include increased human–animal contact due to habitat encroachment, agricultural intensification, and wildlife trade. Climate change, global travel, and inadequate healthcare infrastructure exacerbate risks. The diversity of potential viral reservoirs and rapid viral evolution present major challenges for prediction and prevention. Solutions include enhancing surveillance of wildlife populations, improving biosecurity measures, investing in diagnostic capabilities, and promoting sustainable wildlife management. A "One Health" approach integrating human, animal, and environmental health is crucial. Predictive modelling, international cooperation, and public education are key strategies. Developing pre-exposure prophylactics and post-exposure treatments is essential for mitigating outbreaks. While obstacles remain, advances in genomics and ecological modelling offer hope. A proactive, comprehensive approach addressing the root causes of spillover events is vital for safeguarding global health against future pandemics. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Silica‐rich Green Graphene® (GG) derived from agricultural residue is incorporated into a floor epoxy (FEP) matrix. The inclusion of GG particles within the FEP matrix has demonstrated a significant positive impact, resulting in improved optical and mechanical properties and increased durability of the floor coatings. The addition of GG into the original FEP reduces surface pores, with the glazier appearance of the composite coating attributed to a smooth surface enhancing light reflection. It is noteworthy that the FEP exhibits a high coefficient of friction (CoF), thereby constraining its potential in tribo‐logical applications. Nano‐indentation and tribo‐logical tests confirm that, incorporation of the 0.5 wt% GG in the FEP matrix results in a 130.15% improvement in hardness, a 10.45% decrease of nano‐scratch depth, a 34.55% decrease in wear rate, and a 33.33% decrease in CoF w.r.t pristine FEP sample. Tensile testing reveals a significant 37% enhancement in fracture strain, along with improvements of 12.3% in specific flexural strength and 43% in energy absorption. The utilization of GG derived from green processes, such as pyrolysis of residual agro‐biomass, presents an environmentally conscious alternative to conventional polluting as well as nonrenewable materials employed in epoxy‐based floor coatings. There is one community in the so-called civilized population, anywhere in the world, who are treated disproportionately in terms of their property, rights, language, culture and habitat. One aspect of the indigenous communities is often not brought out in the discussions. That is, they are the most sustainable communities on earth. More than 20 million people in the world are displaced annually due to various crises and the majority of them are indigenous communities. Their rights are not respected, their voices are not heard and their cultures are often discounted. These treatments are widespread. In discussions about the treatment they face, human rights and justice are closely related, as human rights are the foundation of a just society, and justice is a fundamental building block of sustainable peace. Human rights are the same for everyone, regardless of background, location, or beliefs. They include the right to life, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to a fair trial. This article brings out at the end a summary of the struggle the Sami tribes are facing in Sweden and Noway.
