Objective: Identify which nursing interventions are specialized in transporting critical patients, in an extrahospital context. Methodology: Integrative literature review using research in the EBSCO content aggregator (CINAHL) and Pubmed/MEDLINE between the years 2018 and 2023, including all articles available in full text, which address the topic and in Portuguese, Spanish or English. Results: four studies were included, one improvement review study, one case study, one literature review and one retrospective cohort study. The analysis of the studies included in this review made it possible to describe specialized nursing care that promotes health gains in the extra-hospital context. Conclusion: The nurse assumes a primary role in monitoring all hemodynamic variables, controlling pain, recognizing and early intervening in instability areas and preventing and controlling infection, planning interventions for simultaneous and effective management of all the variables. Early recognition of the training needs of the multidisciplinary team and the use of communication strategies between the team and the promotion of relationships with the family, the use of checklists, influences health gains for critically ill patients.
