A 28-days trial was conducted in an aquaponics culture system to determine the effect of the different vegetable plants application on the growth performance and survival rate of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) . Common carp seeds were obtained from local fish farmers in Aceh Besar District. A total of 360 common carp fingerlings (size 3-5 cm) were used and placed in 12 containers with the capacity of 80 L each. Introduction: Rice (Oryza sativa L.) is one of the three major food crops worldwide. Approximately 50% of the world’s population uses rice as a staple food. Silica and zinc among nutrients play a key role in improving plant nutrition and increasing rice growth, so that a lack of these elements reduces growth and consequently reduces yield. Also fortifying rice with silicon and zinc can correct deficiencies of these elements in humans who consume rice. Materials and Methods: This experiment was conducted as factorial based on a randomized complete block design with three replications at the private farm located in Babol (North of Iran) during the years 2017-18 and 2018-19. Measured values of electrical conductivity, soil acidity, organic carbon, total nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, zinc content and soil texture for the first and second years were 2.33 dS m-1 and 1.27 dS m-1, 7.48 and 7.26, 3.27 % and 2.16 %, 0.32 % and 0.21 %, 11 mg kg-1 and 6 mg kg-1, 320 mg kg-1 and 238 mg kg-1, 0.96 mg kg-1 and 0.89 mg kg-1, Clay and Clay, respectively. The treatment included three levels of foliar application (Potassium silicate, Silicon nanoxide, and Zinc nanoxide) as the first factor and five levels of developmental stages (T1: beginning of tillering + middle of tillering + late of tillering + end of panicle emergence, T2: middle of tillering + late of tillering + end of panicle emergence, T3: late of tillering + end of panicle emergence, T4: late of tillering and T5: end of panicle emergence) as the second factor. Results and Discussion: The results showed that none of the studied traits were affected by the year. Maximum grain yield was obtained by foliar application silicon nanoxide (7733 kg ha-1) and zinc nanoxide (7498 kg ha-1), which was, respectively, due to increasing the total number of spikelets and the percentage of filled spikelets (1420.0 spikelets and 95.53%, respectively) and increasing the total number of tillers and 1000-grain weight (19.73 tillers and 26.80 g, respectively). The highest grain yield (7716, 7700 and 7492 kg.ha-1) and the percentage of filled spikelets (94.83, 94.72 and 93.89%) were obtained under T1, T2 and T3 treatments, respectively. By foliar application of silicon nanoxide and zinc nanoxide, the highest biological yield (19213 and 18986 kg ha-1, respectively) and, the highest grain silica concentration (3.13%) and grain zinc concentration (15.97 mg kg-1) were recorded. The minimum 1000-grain weight (24.11 and 24.00 g), the maximum total number of spikelets per panicle (143.1 and 143.2 spikelets) and the highest concentration of grain silica (3.00 and 2.97%) were obtained under T1 and T2 treatments, respectively. However, the highest total number of tillers per hill and the highest number of grain were obtained under T1 and T2 treatments, respectively. The interaction between treatments showed that the maximum total number of spikelets per panicle was obtained by foliar application of potassium silicate under T1 treatment (151.5 spikelets) and foliar application of silicon nanoxide under T2 treatment (153.3 spikelets). Also, the highest concentrations of silica and zinc in grain were obtained by foliar application of silicon nanoxide under T1 treatment (3.97%) and zinc nanoxide under T2 treatment (21.67 mg kg-1), respectively. Conclusions: According to the results of this study, we found that grain yield increases with the application of nanoparticles as well as foliar application during crop growth and development. In order to enrich rice grains, foliar application of nanoparticles in the middle of tillering, late of tillering and end of panicle emergence is also necessary.

Seismic response of a utility-scale land-based wind turbine to near-fault pulse-like ground motions is presented in this study. The structural model corresponds to the 5-MW prototype developed by National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Response parameters such as tower-top displacement, base shear, and overturning moment are calculated by time history analysis and response spectral analysis using different estimates of response spectra. The results show that peak ground velocity and the frequency of dominant pulse of the ground motion are critical parameters governing the response, while peak ground acceleration has very weak correlation to response. When the pulse period is in the vicinity of structural period, seismic response is found to be much larger than those imposed by extreme events in design wind loads. Response spectral analysis using the actual spectra obtained from actual ground motions yielded results close to those from time history analysis. The spectral model prescribed in Eurocode8 is found to be inadequate in representing near-fault seismic action on the wind turbine.

Resistant and enterotoxigenic Staphylococcus aureus strains are considered to be one of the major causes of foodborne diseases due to the consumption of sweet. The present research was done to study the distribution of enterotoxin types, enterotoxigenic genes and antibiotic resistance pattern of S. aureus strains isolated from traditional sweet samples. Eight-hundred and fifteen sweet samples were cultured and S. aureus strains were identified. Antibiotic resistance, enterotoxigenicity and enterotoxigenic gene profile were studied using disk diffusion, Enzyme Link Immunosorbent Assay and PCR, respectively. One-hundred and seven out of 815 (13.12%) sweet samples were positive for S. aureus. Prevalence of S. aureus in dried and semi-dried sweet samples were 15.08% and 11.13%, respectively (P0.05). Forty-six out of 107 S. aureus strains (42.99%) were determined as enterotoxigenic. A (41.30%) and C (17.39%) were the most commonly detected enterotoxin types. Sea (20.56%), sec (14.95%) and seb (11.21%) were the most commonly detected enterotoxigenic genes. There were no positive sample for the sej enterotoxin gene. S. aureus strains harbored the highest prevalence of resistance against penicillin (88.78%), tetracycline (83.17%), ceftaroline (75.70%) and doxycycline (71.02%). Simultaneous presence of enterotoxins and enterotoxigenic genes in multi-drug resistant S. aureus strains indicates important public health issue regarding the consumption of contaminated traditional sweet samples.

In this work, large deflection behavior of a functionally graded carbon nanotube reinforced composite (FG-CNTRC) cylindrical shell under internal pressure is studied. The composite cylindrical shell reinforced along the longitudinal direction and made from a polymeric matrix. Based on first-order shear deformation shell theory (FSDT) and von Kármán geometrical nonlinearity, the set of governing equations are derived. A longitudinal study commonly follows a set of variables, measured for each individual repeatedly over time, and usually suffers from incomplete data problem. A common approach for dealing with longitudinal categorical responses is to use the Generalized Linear Mixed Model (GLMM). This model induces the potential relation between response variables over time via a vector of random effects, assumed to be shared parameters in the non-ignorable missing mechanism. Most GLMMs assume that the random-effects parameters follow a normal or symmetric distribution and this leads to serious problems in real applications. In this paper, we propose GLMMs for the analysis of incomplete multivariate longitudinal categorical responses with a non-ignorable missing mechanism based on a shared parameter framework with the less restrictive assumption of skew-normality for the random effects. Background Firefighting and rescue require high physical and psychological needs under unpredictable and dangerous conditions. Thus, this study aimed to investigate mental workload and affecting factors in firefighters.Materials And Methods This is a descriptive study which was conducted on 250 firefighters of Tehran, Iran. National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA-TLX) survey was used in order to evaluate the mental load among firefighters. This tool evaluates mental workload in 6 areas of mental need, physical need, time pressure, endeavor level, performance (efficiency) and disappointment level. Each area is investigated with a scale from zero to 100. Finally, data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation test and linear regression.Results The mean and standard deviation (SD) of age in firefighters was 32.20 ± 4.54 years. The physical load dimension (93.48 ± 8.93) had highest value and disappointment and failure feeling (25.85 ± 23.38) had the lowest value in terms of mental workload. Association with educational level and the physical load was direct and significant (P = 0.035). None of the demographic variables including age, working history, educational level, marital status, as well as being smoker had an impact on total mental workload (P > 0.050).Conclusions Overall mental workload was high in firefighters which can influence working efficiency and increase errors in this occupational group. Hence, implementing effective programs for adjusting mental workload such as ergonomic and psychological interventions are recommended for reducing mental and psychological errors and stress.

Regarding a special class of pure F(R) gravity in three dimensions, we obtain, analytically, Lifshitz-like black hole solutions. We check the geometrical properties of the solutions which behave such as charged BTZ black holes in special limit. We also investigate the thermodynamic properties of the solutions and examine the first law of thermodynamics and Smarr formula. In this paper, we work on the topological Lifshitz-like black hole solutions of a special class of vacuum $F(R)-$gravity that are static and spherically symmetric. We investigate geometric and thermodynamic properties of the solutions with due respect to the validity of the first law of thermodynamics. We examine the van der Waals like behavior for asymptotically AdS solutions with spherical horizon by studying the $P-v$, $G-T$ and $C_{Q,P}-r_{+}$ diagrams and find a consistent result. We also investigate the same behavior for hyperbolic horizon and interestingly find that the system under study can experience a phase transition with negative temperature., 14 pages with 7 captioned figures. One of the methods for decreasing the temperature of superheated steam is utilizing desuperheaters which by injecting a fine spray of cooling water and maximizing the evaporation surface, lead to reduce the superheated steam temperature. In this study, a counter-current desuperheater in a thermal desalination unit which is used to reduce the outlet steam temperature of a thermo-compressor is simulated by using the discrete phase model (DPM) and the Eulerian-Lagrangian approach. The effect of different parameters such as the vapor velocity, sprayed droplets size, cooling water mass flow rate, the location, and direction of cooling water injection on desuperheaters performance are considered. The results show that mentioned parameters have considerable influence on the performance of desuperheaters. Numerical results of desuperheater outlet steam temperature show good agreement with experimental data with an average error of 4.89%.

The best quality goldfish requires a good environment and a highly nutritious feed. Thus, this study evaluated the effects of commercial diets supplemented with 0%, 3%, 6%, 9% and 12% red yam flour ( Ipomoea batatas L. ) on the growth rate, survival rate and skin color of the goldfish Carrasius auratus . A completely randomized experimental design with five treatments and three replicates was used. Seventy-five goldfishes with an average initial length of 4.4 cm were fed the supplemented commercial diets for twenty-eight days inside fifteen experimental tanks. The results showed that the 9% dietary treatment significantly affected the skin color of the goldfishes but not their growth and survival rates (P > 0.05). Hence, the administration of 9% concentrated red yam flour was a suitable dietary supplement to improve skin pigmentation, an important characteristic of aquarium fishes.

Patulin is a mycotoxin produced by a variey of mold species. In this study, a total of 70 samples consisting of 35 apple leathers and 35 apple juice samples was randomly obtained from different supermarkets of Shahrekord. Using HPLC-DAD technique and in accordance with the Iranian National Standard method, the samples were analyzed for patulin contamination. According to the results, patulin was detected in 14 (40%) of apple leather and 7 (20%) of the apple juice samples. Mean values of patulin concentrations in the apple leathert and apple juice samples were estimated as 34.9± 26.3 and 26 ± 19.7 µ/kg, respectively. Although the mean concentration of patulin was lower than the Iranian/European approved limit (50 µg/kg), patulin contamination level was found higher than the maximum approved limit in 5.7% and 2.9% of the the apple leather and apple juices samples, respectively. Therefore, to minimize the contamination of patulin in theses products, the necessary practices should be conducted.

Zearalenone is a mycotoxin that poses a risk to human health due to its oestrogenic, immunotoxigenic, teratogenic and carcinogenic effects. This study was undertaken to determine the concentration of zearolenone in different types of bread consumed in Isfahan. In a descriptive study, a total of 60 samples consisting of wheat, oat and maize breads was obtained from Isfahan retails from October 2011 to December 2012. Using ELISA method the samples were surveyed for the presence of zearalenone. According to the results, concentration of zearalenone in positive samples ranged between 0.35 and 45.38 ng/g. Moreover, the mean and standard deviation of zearalenone concentration in wheat, oat and maize breads were estimated as 3.94 ± 6.21, 8.52 ±12.81 and 9.53 ±10.35 ng/g, respectively. Any positive sample contained zearalenone concentration more than the maximum level of 50 ng/g set by the European Regulation for zearalenone in cereals and bread. However, it is essential to continuously monitor the zearalenone contamination level in cereals and particularly in wheat.

In endurance time (ET) method structures are subjected to a set of predesigned intensifying excitations. These excitations are produced in a way that their response spectrum, while complying with a specified spectrum, intensifies with time so they can be used approximately to simulate the average effects of several ground motions scaled to different intensities. In this paper applicability of the ET method for evaluating collapse potential of buildings is investigated. A set of four steel moment frames is used for collapse assessment. The process of using ET method in collapse evaluation is explained and the results are compared with incremental dynamic analysis (IDA) results. It is shown that although the computational effort using the ET method is much less than the IDA analysis, the results of both methods are consistent. Finally collapse fragility curves using ET and IDA methods are produced and it is shown that the probabilities of collapse in different hazard levels are also consistent.

Bacteria have different decomposing enzymes, a feature which makes them outstanding among all other microbes. One of the major methods to reduce various pollutants is applying biologic method which is known as bioremediation. The aim of the present study was tried to analyze the existence of naphthalene-degradation bacteria phenotypically and genotypically in Qurugol Lake, located in East Azerbaijan Province in Iran. For this aim at the end of each rainy season samples were taken from the locations of the lake which were the most polluted. These samples were incubated in a specific medium where naphthalene was the only carbonic source of energy for providing the poly aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) energy. The single colonies were isolated and the primary phonotypic and biochemical tests were carried out. After that, for genotypic analysis, their 16S rRNA genes were separated and sequenced. Considering the fact that the decomposing bacteria of PAHs compounds, which were taken from the lake, were isolated, it became obvious that part of polluting process is done by these bacteria. The significant bacteria in this case are bacillus sp. and closely related type strains include B. pumilus (99.9%) Which are capable of decomposing PAHs efficiently in 5% salt concentrations also Shewanella sp. and closely related type strains include Sh. Xiamenensis (99.1%) which are capable of decomposing PAHs efficiently in 1/5% salt concentration. On the basis of phenotypic and phylogenetic results, it is recommended that isolated RCRI7(=RCRI8) represents a novel strain of the species Sh. xiamenensis and The GenBank/EMBL accession number for the 16S rRNA gene sequences of strain RCRI7 is GQ988720. The level of DNA–DNA relatedness between strain RCRI7 and phylogenetically the closest related strain, Shewanella xiamenensis JCM 16212 T was 51%.

Vibrio species are important seafood-borne pathogens that are responsible for 50-70% of gasteroenteritis. The present study was carried out in order to determine the prevalence of Vibrio species and the distribution of tdh, tlh and trh virulence genes in Vibrio parahaemolyticus isolated from fresh and salted shrimp samples. Totally, 60 fresh and salted shrimp samples were collected from the Genaveh seaport. Microbial culture was used to isolate Vibrio species. In addition, the presences of Vibrio parahaemolyticus, Vibrio cholera, Vibrio vulnificus and Vibrio harveyi and the virulence genes of V. parahaemolyticus were studied using the PCR method. Results showed that 20% of fresh and 23.33% of salted shrimp samples were positive for Vibrio species. In studied samples, V. vulnificus had the highest prevalence rate (8.33%), while V. cholera had the lowest prevalence rate (1.66%). From a total of 4 detected V. parahaemolyticus, all of them had tlh gene (100%). The distribution of tdh and trh genes in isolated V. parahaemolyticus strains were 50% and 25%, respectively. High prevalence of Vibrio species and especially virulent V. parahaemolyticus in samples confirmed the lack of hygienic condition in the production and distribution centers of shrimp.

Background and Objective: Listeria bacteria with worldwide widespread are commonly found in soil, sewage, dust and water. Among which,Listeria monocytogenes can cause a serious food-borne disease. The objective of this study was to investigate the prevalence of Listeria species in ready-to-eat foods. Material and Methods: The samples (n=235) including oloveyh salad (n = 64), Yogurt stew (n= 35), vegetable salad (n=52), macaroni salad (n= 48) and meat salad (n =36) were collected from the restaurants in Shahrekord, Iran. Enrichment and selective media were used to determine the prevalence of Listeria species. . Results: The results showed that 8.5 % of the samples were infected by Listeria spp. The highest were isolated from vegetable salad (17.3%) and the lowest from macaroni salad (4.2%). Listeria monocytogenes was isolated from 7 samples (3.0%). Other isolated species were L.innocua (4.7%) and L.seeligeri (0.9%). Conclusion: It seems that eating ready-to- eat food or raw and undercooked foods has the potential risk of contamination to the Listeria species. Keywords: Listeria, Ready- to- Eat Food, Shahrekord

Salmonella typhimurium and S. enteritidisare known as the major causes of food-borne infection throughout the world. The present study was carried out to investigate the prevalence of S. typhimurium in raw milks of Chahamaha Va Bakhteyari province. For this reason, a total of 550 raw milks (consisting of 200 cow, 175 sheep and 175 goat milk samples) were collected through October 2011 to March 2012 from dairy herds around Shahrekord. The samples were cultured and the isolated colonies were confirmed by PCR using species-specific ST11 and ST15 primers. According to the results, a total of 20 samples (3.63%) were found positive for Salmonellaspp.Amongst, 14 (2.54%) of cow milk, 2 (0.36%) of sheep milk and 4 (0.72%) of goat milk samples were contaminated. Using PCR, 9 (1.63%) samples were contaminated with S. typhimurium. The results indicated a relatively high occurrence of S. typhimurium in raw milks. Therefore, it is essential to maintain hygienic measures during milking and handling. Besides, it is recommended not to use raw milk for the manufacturing of dairy products such as cheese and ice-cream.

This study aims to investigate the effect of different types of live feed on the growth and survival of clown loach, Cromobotia macracanthus. We used a completely randomized design with four treatments and five replications. The treatments were A; commercial diet feeding as control, B; silkworm, C; golden snail, D; sea worm. The feeding rate was 5% of body weight and feeding frequency was twice per day fed for thirty days. Tested parameters were weight gain (WG), length gain (LG), specific growth rate (SGR), feed conversion ratio (FCR) and survival rate (SR). This study aimed to determine the effect of adding local microorganisms as probiotics in commercial feed to accelerate the growth of Osphronemus goramy. This research was conducted in December 2018 to February 2019 at the Marine Biology Laboratory, Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh. The method used in this study was an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 levels of treatment and 3 replications. The concentration treatment tested ware the addition of LM 0 ml 100g−1 of feed (A), 2 mL 100g−1 of feed (B), 4 mL 100g−1 of feed (C), 6 mL 100g−1 of feed (D), 8 mL 100g−1 of feed (E) and 10 mL 100g−1 of feed (F). The ANOVA test results showed that administration of LM in commercial feed at a dose of 4 mL 100g−1 had an effect on absolute length growth, absolute weight growth, specific growth rate, feed conversion ratio and survival (p0.05). The best treatment was obtained in treatment C (addition of 4 mL 100g−1 LM of feed) namely absolute length growth (3.08 cm), absolute weight growth (0.31g), specific growth rate (2.42%), feed conversion ratio (3.22) and survival rate (74.35%). Water quality parameters in this study were within the normal tolerance range for the life of carp.

Pedih (Tor douronensis) is a freshwater fish that live in mountainous areas and swift rivers in the interior of Aceh. The aimed of this research was to analyze the dosage of PMSG+AD hormone orally for the gonadal maturation of pedih (Tor dauronensis). This research was conducted at technical implementation unit of fish breeding center Lukup Badak, Pegasing district, Aceh Tengah on Febuary to March 2018. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 level of treatment and three replications: 0 ml/kg feed, 0.3 ml/kg feed, 0.5 ml/kg feed and 0.7 ml/kg feed. The result of ANOVA test showed that different dosage of PMSG+AD hormone orally showed significant effect on the weight of broodstock, relative weight, gonad maturations index, eggs diameter, and relative eggs diameter. The result of Duncan test showed that the best dosage was found 0.7 ml/kg feed, but this treatment was not significantly different with the dosage of 0.5 ml/kg feed.

The objective of the present study was to investigate the effect of eggshell powder supplementation in diet on the growth and survival rate of black tiger shrimp, Penaeus monodon larvae. A total of 600 shrimp larvae (PL 12) was used with five treatment levels and four replications. The shrimp fed with 42% of crude protein, feeding frequency three times a day at 08.00; 14.00; 18.00 pm and 5% feeding rate. The dietary treatments were A (0%), B (3%), C (6%), D (9%) and E (12%) fed for thirty days. Results showed that the supplementation of eggshell powder in diet had a significant effect on weight gain, length gain, specific growth rate, and survival of black tiger shrimp larvae. Duncan's advanced test showed that the optimum dose of eggshell powder was found in treatment A (0% eggshell powder) with weight gain, length gain, specific growth rate, and survival rate at 0.0301±0,0013 g, 12.41±0,56 mm, 12.82±0,16 %/day, and 94.17±1,66%, respectively. Hence, it can be concluded that the supplementation of eggshell powder may decrease the growth and survival rate of black tiger shrimp larvae.

Background & aim: Primary dysmenorrhea or painful menses in women's medicine is one of the most common complaints that are associated with physical and psychological symptoms. The aim of this investigation was to study the effects of an eight week flexibility exercise and use of vitamin B6 on physical and psychological symptoms of primary dysmenorrhea in non-athlete females. Methods: In this clinical trial study, 60 non-athlete females, were randomly divided into 4 groups control, exercise, vitamins and exercise plus vitamin. They engaged in an 8-week exercise program that includes flexibility training, stretching the abdominal muscles, lower back, hamstrings and pelvis and hip stretches. Eight movements, each movement with 3 times repetition and each repetition lasting 10 seconds during 4 days per week was performed. The vitamins group used 2 tablets of 40 miligaram B6 vitamin daily during the 8 week program starting 2 weeks before menstruation to 3 days after menstruation. In the exercise with vitamin group, during the 8 weeks of flexibility traininig program females used from 2 weeks before menstruation to 3 days after menstruation 2 tablets of 40 miligaram B6 vitamin daily. The control group had no intervention. Before and after eight weeks, participants completed the menstrual disorders’ questionnaire. Data were analyzed. Results: Significant decreases in average of physical symptoms(exercise from 28/4 to 6/7,vitamin from 25 to 9/35,training with vitamin from 27/66 to 4/40) and psychological symptoms (exercise 25/86 to 5/93,vitamin 24/99 to 3/53,training whith vitamin 27/73 to 3/36) was observed. But physical and psychological symptoms in post-test of exercise group with vitamin had a significant decrease as compared wih other groups (p≤0/05). Conculusion: 8 weeks of flexibility and vitamin B6 usage may reduce the physical and psychological symptoms of dysmenorrhea. Milk is a complicated liquid that contains necessary components for the growth of mammalian neonate. Milk can get polluted by heavy metals such as lead and cadmium. In this study, the concentrations of lead and cadmium were measured in 12 yoghurt and 12 UF cheese samples produced in each of the Isfahan and Golpayegan-Pegah Dairy Processing Establishments. The samples were analyzed using atomic absorption spectrometry by furnace according to AOAC instruction. According to the results, lead concentrations (Mean ± SD) in yoghurt and UF cheese samples produced in Isfahan and Golpayegan-Pegah were estimated at 54.96 ± 35.21, 61.65 ± 19.62, 105.38 ± 59.09, 141.94 ± 63.44 μg/Kg, respectively. In the case of cadmium, the concentrations were determined as 19.03 ± 1.23, 16.84 ± 8.08, 53.79 ± 19.29, 37.67 ± 22.58 μg/Kg, respectively. Results revealed a significant difference (P≥0.05) in lead and cadmium concentrations among the cheese samples of the two Dairy Processing Establishments. However, lead and cadmium concentrations in all samples were within the international approved limit (200 ppb).

Background & aim: Dysmenorrhea, menstrual cramps without physical pain is a common complaint in gynecology. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of aerobic training on primary Dysmenorrhea in a period of 8 weeks. Materials & Methods: In the present clinical-trial study, 60 non-athlete girls with primary Dysmenorrhea were randomly divided into three groups: aerobic training, yoga and control groups. Based on the visual analog scale of pain intensity, pain duration and amount of analgesics administered was assessed before and after the period of primary Dysmenorrhea using a questionnaire. In this eight-week exercise program, the aerobic exercises group for 60 minutes in three weeks and yoga exercises group in three sessions per week for 60 minutes, the yoga breathing techniques, exercises, asana and relaxation techniques were performed. There was no intervention in the control group. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon, Kruskal-Wallis and Mann Whitney (p0.05).
