Aquest projecte s'ha desenvolupat per ser entregat com a Treball Final del Grau d'Enginyeria Informàtica a la Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona. S'hi apliquen diversos coneixements adquirits durant tota la carrera i, sobretot, els adquirits durant l'especialització en Enginyeria del Software. Aquest projecte ha consistit en desenvolupar diverses tasques per al mòdul de Pressupost en l'aplicació TCQi, propietat de l'empresa iTeC, on he completat tot aquest treball. L'objectiu principal del projecte és optimitzar els temps de resposta de diferents funcionalitats de l'aplicació web per, d'aquesta manera, millorar l'experiència dels usuaris., This project has been developed to be submitted as the Final Degree Project in Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Informatics in Barcelona. It applies various knowledge acquired throughout the entire academic career, particularly those gained during the specialization in Software Engineering. The project has involved carrying out various tasks for the Budget module in the TCQi application, owned by the company iTeC, where I have completed all this work. The main objective of the project is to optimize the response times of different functionalities in the web application, thereby improving the user experience.

El desenvolupament d'aquest projecte té lloc a l'empresa ITeC, amb la finalitat de millorar l'eficiència de l'aplicació web de Pressupost i Seguiment. Aquesta aplicació, integrada dins del programa TCQi, representa la versió en línia d'un producte previ de l'empresa, que encara experimentava problemes de rendiment. Per abordar aquesta qüestió, aquest projecte optimitza diverses funcionalitats, com ara la càrrega de línies i la creació de nivells, amb l'objectiu de satisfer eficientment les necessitats dels usuaris i clients., This work culminates the studies of the degree in computer engineering at the Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. The main objective is to broadly apply the knowledge acquired during the degree and put into practice the skills acquired. The development of this project takes place in the company ITeC, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the Budget and Monitoring web application. This application, integrated within the TCQi programme, represents the online version of a previous product of the company, which was still experiencing performance problems. To address this issue, this project optimises various functionalities, such as the loading of lines and the creation of levels, in order to efficiently meet the needs of users and customers.

La utilización y creación de APIs durante los últimos años se ha incrementado notablemente. Por eso la calidad de estas debe aumentar en consideración, pero no por ello se debe dedicar un tiempo excesivo a verificar que cumplen con unas características de calidad y diseño. Por esta razón este TFG junto a NTT DATA busca ofrecer una solución que simplifique esta verificación. Esta memoria define el camino que se ha seguido para obtener una herramienta que se ha desarrollado junto a NTT DATA. El proyecto abordará la descripción de APIs con el objetivo de analizarlas, las reglas de spectral que se han utilizado durante los últimos años para verificar reglas en ficheros yaml entre otros, la creación de informes visuales para presentar información y la utilización de inteligencia artificial para generar una predicción sobre esta API. Con estos conocimientos se conseguirá el objetivo de generar un informe de api aplicando unas reglas de spectral y hacer una predicción del comportamiento que tendrá en el futuro esta API., The use and creation of APIs in recent years has increased greatly. The Integrated Gamified Learning Dashboard Environment (GLiDE) project aims at fostering student engagement, teamwork, and project performance in software engineering education. By integrating gamification elements and enhanced user experience in an existing Learning Dashboard, GLiDE offers a novel approach to learning in team-based software development projects. Actualment, es disposa del Learning Dashboard, un tauler de control que permet el seguiment del desenvolupament de projectes software realitzats per estudiants. Per les visualitzacions d'aquests, s'ha desenvolupat una interfície web que permet realitzar el seguiment a partir de diverses mètriques o indicadors que marquen el progrés. En aquest projecte, es contempla la possibilitat de millorar les visualitzacions ja existents mitjançant la realització d'una nova aplicació web desenvolupada en Angular i NestJS., Currently the Learning Dashboard is available, a control panel that enables monitoring of development of software projects carried out by student. For the visualizations of these, a web interface has been developed that allows monitoring based on various metrics or indicators that mark the progress. In this project, we are considering the possibility of improving the existing visualizations through the creation of a new web application developed in Angular and NestJS.

El projecte desenvolupat té com a objectiu poder millorar l'experiència d'ús i l'adopció de la blockchain CKB mitjançant una plataforma que permeti gestionar transaccions d'actius digitals entre aplicacions descentralitzades i els usuaris., This document constitutes the final degree project report of modality B under a collaboration agreement with the blockchain technology consultant firm Peersyst. The project's goal is to improve user satisfaction and adoption of the CKB blockchain by providing a platform to manage the transfer of digital assets between users and decentralized applications.

El Learning Dashboard és un software implementat en el departament ESSI que mostra el valor de certes mètriques i indicadors relacionats amb el treball dels estudiants durant el desenvolupament en equip de projectes de software. Algunes d'aquestes mètriques i indicadors es basen en l'anàlisi de dades recollides de l'eina Taiga per a la gestió de projectes software. L'objectiu d'aquest TFG és incorporar aquestes mètriques i indicadors directament a Taiga enlloc de tenir-les externes.

En el ámbito académico, las asignaturas orientadas al desarrollo de proyectos presentan un gran reto, tanto para el profesorado como para el alumnado. Este reto consiste en poder cuantificar objetivamente el rendimiento que cada miembro del grupo está teniendo en el desarrollo del proyecto. Más allá del dato básico y utilizado por excelencia, que es el de las horas totales dedicadas, existen muchos otros indicadores que pueden mostrar el rendimiento real de cada integrante. Se ha observado que el alumnado utilizaba herramientas externas como SonarCloud y Google Sheets para poder autoevaluar el estado del código del proyecto y la dedicación por horas y actividad que dedicaba cada integrante al proyecto. El objetivo del Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) es desarrollar dos conectores de datos a SonarCloud y Google Sheets, obtener con estos la información que ambas aplicaciones generan y traspasarla a ElasticSearch. Ello permitirá generar métricas de rendimiento homogéneas para todos los grupos de estudiantes de la misma asignatura. Como resultado de este proyecto, se implementaron ambos conectores. También la creación de un sistema de imputaciones horarias automatizado, en el que los requisitos de este fueron definidos en colaboración con el profesorado. Se hizo, además, un estudio del estado actual de la arquitectura de los conectores y propusieron mejoras para futuros evolutivos. Por último, se redactaron dos manuales de instrucciones para que el profesorado pueda utilizar las herramientas desarrolladas en este proyecto en el futuro. Estos resultados se han conseguido mediante el uso de metodologías ágiles que han permitido la constante adaptación del proyecto a las necesidades que han ido surgiendo por parte del profesorado. También estas metodologías han permitido crear un canal de comunicación constante con los directores de proyecto y profesores, lo que ha permitido que el desarrollo de este TFG haya estado siempre alineado con las expectativas del profesorado. This project focuses on the development of two data connectors for SonarCloud and Google Sheets. Furthermore, the creation of an automated timeframe system, in which the requirements of this system have been defined in collaboration with teachers. A study of the current status of the connector architecture was also conducted and improvements proposed for future developments. Lastly, two instruction manuals have been written so that teachers can use the tools developed as part of this project in the future. These outcomes were achieved through agile methodologies. This has allowed the project to be continuously adapted to the needs that have emerged from the teachers. Team-based software development projects (TBSDP) are a useful instrument to expose students to teamwork in an industry-like working context. However, TBSDP exposes students to a number of challenges. This paper has a twofold objective. First, understand the practices and challenges that students face in TBDSP in an Agile context. Second, investigate whether the use of a teaching domain-specific information system, a learning dashboard, could help them in improving these practices and facing these challenges. We conducted a multi-instrument exploratory study at the Polytechnical University of Catalunya. We gathered information about the progress of 39 students organised in 6 teams during one semester by mining two software repositories and conducting a number of questionnaires and interviews related both to working practices and to students’ perception of learning dashboard adoption. Results show that many students do not follow adequate practices for some TBSDP activities. On the other hand, metrics informing about the use of code repositories and task management were generally well understood and perceived as potentially useful by students when shown in a learning dashboard. En este proyecto se busca desarrollar una aplicación en la plataforma de Salesforce, con el objetivo de crear una herramienta que integre un conjunto de funcionalidades de la red social Twitter dentro de la misma plataforma de Salesforce. En este documento se detallan todos los procesos del proyecto, desde la obtención de los requisitos hasta el testeo de la aplicación final. El Learning Dashboard es un panel donde los estudiantes y profesores pueden revisar el progreso de los proyectos de software mediante métricas cómo líneas de códigos por estudiante o tareas cerradas entre otras. Gracias a este trabajo, el Learning Dashboard, es un proyecto donde ahora se cumplen las normativas de protección de datos, mediante agregar encriptación de datos, sistemas de anonimización, y formularios de consentimiento. A su vez, este panel, se ha vuelto más mantenible, escalable, accesible y seguro gracias a la refactorización del concepto de identidad, un gestor de excepciones, y refactorizar parte del código de esta aplicación., The Learning Dashboard is a panel where students and teachers can review the progress of software projects through metrics such as lines of code per student or closed tasks, among others. Thanks to this work, the Learning Dashboard is now a project that complies with data protection regulations, by adding data encryption, anonymization systems, and consent forms. Additionally, this panel has become more maintainable, scalable, accessible, and secure due to the refactoring of the identity concept, an exception manager, and refactoring parts of this application's code.

Software project dashboards provide advanced visualization capabilities and analysis techniques (such as predictions, simulations, what-if analysis, and alerts). They operate by gathering data from several sources (such as code repositories, project management tools, and quality checkers), translating this data to metrics, and next combining metrics to assemble indicators. It becomes crucial to support software project dashboards with a versatile, efficient, and powerful data layer. The purpose of this Final Master Thesis is to design and implement this data layer with a Knowledge Graph data model, thus representing the main concepts managed by the dashboard and the relationships between them. This new data layer shall be integrated into the Q-Rapids (an acronym for Quality-aware Rapid Software Development) dashboard, a particular software project dashboard implemented by the GESSI UPC Research Group, in a non-disruptive manner. The TFM will be evaluated using a customization of the Q-Rapids dashboard in the teaching domain.

Cada dia són més les persones que decideixen practicar un nou esport. El fet que en esports com córrer no sigui necessari una tècnica complexa fa que sovint no es contempli l'opció d'incorporar la figura d'un entrenador personal. Però la realitat és que la realització d'una activitat esportiva requereix una planificació prèvia per obtenir un millor rendiment i evitar lesions. Per aquest motiu la creació d'aquest projecte busca fomentar l'esport estructurat i donar a conèixer l'existència de sistemes per a la gestió d'entrenaments mitjançant el desenvolupament d'un sistema informàtic. S'ha dissenyat i desenvolupat una aplicació web, on entrenadors poden crear contingut a la plataforma fent-lo accessible per a tota la comunitat d'usuaris o grups privats. Així doncs, s'ofereix la possibilitat de crear planificacions personalitzades mitjançant la creació de clubs, on corredors poden introduir els seus resultats i d'aquesta manera fer-los visibles als seus entrenadors., Nowadays there are more and more people who decide to practise a new sport. The fact that in some sports like running there's no need of a complex technique involves that sometimes the option of incorporating a personal trainer is not taken into account. However the performance of a sporting activity requires prior planning in order to obtain better performance and avoid any kind of injury. For this reason this project aims to promote structured sport and let people know about the existence of systems for training management through the development of a computer-based system. It has been designed and developed a web application, where trainers are able to create content into the platform making it accessible for all the user community or private groups. As a result, the possibility to create personalized plans is offered by creating clubs, where runners can introduce their own results in order to make them visible to their trainers.

La necesidad de una herramienta que albergue todas las funcionalidades relacionadas con Post-Quantum es una de las prioridades de Entrust. Es por ese motivo por el cual nace Entrust PQ Portal, una aplicación web que permite la creación de Infraestructura de Clave Pública (PKI), del inglés Public Key Infrastructure) tradicional, híbrida y post-cuántica, así como el empleo de esta para autenticación de servidores y firma digital., Technological advances have revolutionized our lives. Nowadays, computing is used in our day to day, whether to communicate, work, and entertain ourselves. For this reason, protecting the information we handle is of vital importance. As technology advances, so do the methods used by cyber attackers. Quantum computing breakthroughs have opened new paths in cryptography, challenging traditional methods. Making necessary to adapt and find innovative solutions to protect our digital world. The need for a tool that houses all Post-Quantum related functionalities is one of Entrust's priorities. It is for this reason that Entrust PQ Portal is born, a web application that allows the creation of traditional, hybrid and post-quantum Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), as well as its use for server authentication and digital signature.

Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se desarrolla en la empresa Waapiti SL. Esta empresa tecnológica ofrece soluciones de cartelería digital. El objetivo de este proyecto es desarrollar un gestor de activos que amplíe la plataforma web actual de Waapiti. El gestor de activos permitirá a los empleados de soporte técnico mejorar la eficiencia y la calidad de su trabajo, así como también permitirá a los clientes de Waapiti tener un mayor control sobre sus activos., This Final Degree Project is developed in the company Waapiti SL. This technological company offers digital signage solutions. The objective of this project is to develop an asset manager that extends the current web platform of Waapiti. The asset manager will allow technical support employees to improve the efficiency and quality of their work, as well as allowing Waapiti customers to have greater control over their assets.

The purpose of this work consists of a thorough analysis to determine which metrics are more relevant in order to monitor the performance of Agile software development projects by taking advantage of data drawn from tools such as version control systems and project management tools. To further assess the selected metrics in a near real-world scenario, a project management and performance tool, the Mobile Dashboard, has been designed and implemented. The development of such an application has gone through the planning, design, development, and validation phases, applying state-of-the-art Software-Engineering technologies, techniques, and tools., El objetivo de este trabajo consiste en un análisis exhaustivo para determinar qué métricas son más relevantes para controlar el rendimiento de los proyectos de desarrollo del software Agile aprovechando los datos extraídos de herramientas como los sistemas de control de versiones y las herramientas de gestión de proyectos. Para evaluar con mayor detalle las métricas seleccionadas en un escenario casi real, se ha diseñado e implementado una herramienta de gestión y rendimiento de proyectos, el Mobile Dashboard. El desarrollo de esta aplicación ha pasado por las fases de planificación, diseño, desarrollo y validación, aplicando tecnologías, técnicas y herramientas avanzadas de la Ingeniería del Software.

L'objectiu d'aquest treball de fi de grau és d'obtenir, calcular i visualitzar en un Learning Dashboard mètriques i indicadors d'aprenentatge, a partir de les eines de control de versions de software que utilitzen els estudiants en projectes d'Enginyeria del Software, fent servir com a base Q-Rapids Dashboard, un Software de gestió de projectes desenvolupat pel Departament d'Enginyeria de Serveis i Sistemes d'Informació (ESSI)., The aim of this final degree project is to obtain, calculate and visualize in a Learning Dashboard learning metrics and indicators, from the software version control tools used by students in Software Engineering projects, using as a basis Q-Rapids Dashboard, a project management software developed by the Department of Information Systems and Engineering Services (ESSI).

L'objectiu d'aquest projecte és adaptar l'eina Q-Rapids a les necessitats de les assignatures d'ASW i PES. Es volen implementar diferents funcionalitats que ajudin a alumnes i professors per igual a conèixer i gestionar l'estat del seu projecte, mitjançant l'ús de mètriques, millorar i ampliar funcionalitats ja existents i afegir la capacitat de recollir dades del Taiga., The objective of this project is to adapt the Q-Rapids tool to meet the necessities of the subjects of ASW and PES. We want to implement different functionalities that help students and teachers alike to know and manage their projects status, with the use of metrics, improve and broaden already existing functionalities and add the capacity to take data from Taiga.

La propietat d'un objecte real o bé d'un producte virtual com les fonts i solucions de software només es poden acreditar, en l'actualitat, mitjançant un organisme públic o privat, confiant per tant, exclusivament en un agent extern per ser capaç de demostrar i poder traspassar aquesta propietat. La motivació d'aquest projecte consisteix en la creació d'una plataforma web innovadora amb la finalitat de gestionar la propietat de software, aprofitant una xarxa descentralitzada que no pertany a cap organisme on les dades són immutables i on tota modificació queda públicament registrada, anomenada blockchain. Des de que la plataforma Ethereum va aprofitar aquest tipus de xarxes per permetre crear mecanismes que interactuen amb la blockchain, fa només set anys, cal assenyalar que encara es troba en una fase inicial d'ús. No obstant, atesos els seus grans beneficis, es tracta d'una tecnologia innovadora i revolucionaria pel canvi d'estructura que implica respecte als sistemes actuals. Es tracta, per tant, d'una tecnologia amb un gran impacte per la societat en un proper futur. En aquest treball es desenvolupa un sistema complet format per tres serveis propis: l'aplicació web, l'aplicació del servidor i el contracte de la blockchain; a la vegada de l'ús de diversos serveis externs, passant per totes les fases d'un projecte real, especificació de requisits, disseny del sistema, desenvolupament i validació final de requisits a través de diferents mecanismes de proves., The ownership of a real object or a virtual product such as software sources can currently only be accredited by a public or private organization, and therefore, relying exclusively on an external agent to be able to demonstrate and to transfer this ownership. The motivation of this project consists in the creation of an innovative web platform with the purpose of managing software ownership, taking profit of a decentralized network that does not belong to any organization, where the data is immutable and where any modification is publicly registered, called blockchain. Since the Ethereum platform took advantage of these type of networks to allow the creation of mechanisms that interact with the blockchain, only seven years ago, it should be noted that it is still in an initial phase of use. However, taking into account its great benefits, it is considered as an innovative and revolutionary technology due to the change in structure that it implies with regard to current systems. It is, definitely, a technology with a great impact for society in the near future. In this work, a complete system consisting of three services is developed: the web application, the server application and the blockchain contract; as well as the use of various external services, going through all the phases of a real project, requirements specification, system design, development and final validation of the requirements through different testing techniques.

Radisson hotels és una empresa multinacional mundialment coneguda, és de les cadenes hoteleres més exitoses a tot el món. Però el sector hoteler ha sigut un dels sectors que més afectat s'ha vist per la pandèmia del COVID-19, ja que el turisme s'ha vist severament afectat, tant per restriccions governamentals com per por de les persones a la pandèmia. Tot i així, Radisson hotels ha decidit no parar amb l'expansió de l'empresa, una de les noves idees per propulsar la companyia ha sigut la d'afegir pagaments online a la seva pàgina web. EY porta 4 anys donant els serveis de desenvolupament i manteniment de la web de Radisson, per tant, han sigut els encarregats de fer aquesta funcionalitat, i a mi, com a estudiant en pràctiques a EY, se'm va oferir presentar aquest projecte com a treball de fi de grau i em va semblar un projecte molt interessant i desafiant., Radisson Hotels is a world-renowned multinational company, it is one of the most successful hotel chains in the world. L'objectiu principal d'aquest projecte és evolucionar i millorar un component software encarregat del càlcul de mètriques, factors i indicadors de qualitat a partir de dades obtingudes de fonts diferents com ara gestors de projectes i gestors de versions de codi. En asignaturas basadas en el desarrollo en equipo de proyectos software constatamos que: 1) más allá de las entregas puntuales, los estudiantes sienten la inquietud de no saber si están avanzando en sus objetivos de aprendizaje de manera adecuada; 2) en las evaluaciones entre pares, los estudiantes se basan en apreciaciones subjetivas y prefieren evitar el conflicto a informar sobre posibles problemas del equipo; 3) los profesores carecen de una visión precisa “en tiempo real” del desempeño de los diferentes equipos, tanto a nivel de funcionamiento interno de los equipos como a un nivel más global que permita anticipar y prevenir posibles disfunciones. Para abordar estos problemas, pretendemos sacar partido de los datos generados por las herramientas de desarrollo software que utilizan los estudiantes, principalmente de gestión de versiones de código y de gestión de proyectos, para definir métricas, factores e indicadores de aprendizaje que a su vez serán integrados, visualizados y monitorizados en un cuadro de mando. Data has an undoubtedly impact on society. Storing, processing and analyzing large amounts of available data is currently one of the key success factors for an organization. Nonetheless, we are recently witnessing a change represented by huge and heterogeneous amounts of data. Thus, in order to carry on these data exploitation tasks, organizations must first perform data integration combining data from multiple sources to yield a unified view over them. El propòsit d'aquest treball és investigar quines mètriques i indicadors de seguiment del procés d'aprenentatge es poden definir a partir de la informació que proporcionen els gestors de versions de codi, eines de gestió de projectes software, eines de control de la qualitat del codi, i similars, que utilitzen els estudiants integrats en un equip de treball durant el desenvolupament de projectes software en assignatures de grau d'informàtica. A més, es plantejaran diferents maneres de visualitzar aquesta informació en un quadre de comandament (learning dashboard en anglès), perquè sigui clara i entenedora de cara a la seva interpretació i serveixi d'ajuda per prendre decisions informades durant el transcurs del desenvolupament del projecte software en equip.

Reus, ciudad de origen medieval ubicada en la provincia de Tarragona, mayormente conocida por ser la ciudad natal de Gaudí, que le vio nacer en el año 1852. A finales del siglo XIX, un movimiento artístico emergió: el Modernismo. Los arquitectos empezaron a construir todo tipo de edificios. Desde casas para personas muy importantes hasta hospitales. Todos los edificios que se conservan de antaño, a día de hoy, forman parte de la Ruta Modernista de Reus. Muchos turistas desean conocer en profundidad esta ruta, pero, únicamente se puede realizar con un guía los sábados por la mañana pagando 7 euros o mediante un folleto sin ningún tipo de información sobre el edificio. Una ciudad tan importante como Reus, con una emblemática ruta llena de historia y arte, debería de poder ofrecer más alternativas para dar a conocer uno de los mayores patrimonios de la ciudad. Actualmente, existe una aplicación llamada Reus Modernista, creada por la autora de este proyecto, la cual proporciona información sobre 5 edificios de la ruta y realiza preguntas sobre cada edificio para incentivar la realización de la ruta de una forma divertida. A partir de toda esta información, este trabajo de fin de grado final muestra el rediseño, la implementación completa desde cero de la aplicación móvil y de los diferentes servicios y, la mejora de la aplicación antigua, agregando nuevas funcionalidades para mejorar la experiencia a los turistas., Reus, a city of medieval origin located in the province of Tarragona, best known for being the birthplace of Gaudí, who saw him born in 1852. A city as important as Reus, with an emblematic route full of history and art, should be able to offer more alternatives to publicize one of the city's greatest assets. Currently, there is an application called Reus Modernista, created by the author of this project, which provides information on 5 buildings on the route and asks questions about each building to encourage the completion of the route in a fun way. Based on all this information, this final degree project shows the redesign, the complete implementation from scratch of the mobile application and the different services, and the improvement of the old application, adding new functionalities to improve the experience to tourists.

La idea de la web3, juntament amb la tecnologia de la cadena de blocs, s'està fent lloc a la indústria de la informàtica i és cada cop té més rellevància en la societat. Tanmateix, gran part de la població sap què són les criptomonedes o almenys n'ha sentit a parlar; aquestes s'estan utilitzant per fer transaccions i sembla que en un futur no molt llunyà formaran part de les nostres vides quotidianes. Aquest projecte pretén profunditzar en el desenvolupament d'aplicacions descentralitzades, construint així una pàgina web de micromecenatge que interaccioni amb contractes intel·ligents desplegats a la xarxa Polygon, una cadena de blocs basada en Ethereum. La web oferirà un servei de creació de campanyes de recaptació de fons per projectes i es duran a terme ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings). Totes les transaccions es faran mitjançant MATIC, la criptomoneda nativa de la xarxa Polygon. A més, hi haurà funcionalitats addicionals com una secció de comentaris per cadascuna de les campanyes, una barra de cerca, campanyes preferides, configuració de l'usuari, etc., Web3, along with blockchain technology, is fighting for a place in the IT industry and is gaining importance in today's' society. Furthermore, most people know what cryptocurrencies are or have heard of them. These, are being used to send transactions, and it sees they could be part of our day-to-day life in a near future. This project intends to dig deeper into the development of decentralized applications (dapps), building a crowdfunding web page which interacts with smart contracts deployed on Polygon network, an Ethereum-based blockchain. The web page will offer a funding campaign creation service and will be a platform where ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) can take place. Every transaction will be done with MATIC, the native cryptocurrency of the Polygon Network. Furthermore, there will be more functionalities such as a comment section for every campaign, a search bar, favourite campaigns, user configuration, etc.

Software and data analytics solutions support improving development processes and the quality of the software produced in Agile Software Development (ASD). However, decision makers in software teams (e.g., product owner, project manager) are demanding powerful tools providing evidence data that support their strategic decision-making processes. In this paper, we present and provide access to QaSD, a Quality-aware Strategic Dashboard supporting decision makers in ASD. The dashboard allows decision makers to define high-level strategic indicators (e.g., customer satisfaction, process performance) related to software quality and to measure, explore, simulate and forecast the values of those indicators in order to explain and justify their decisions. Moreover, we also provide the results of a conducted evaluation of the dashboard quality in a real environment that evaluated the QaSD as usable, easy to use, with good navigation, and reliable, This work was supported by Q-Rapids (Quality-Aware Rapid Software Development) and VISDOM (Visual diagnosis for DevOps software development) projects. Best Paper Award a l’Experimental Software Engineering Track (ESELAW) de la XXIV Ibero-American Conference on Software Engineering, CIbSE 2021, Context: Tertiary studies are becoming increasingly popular in software engineering as an instrument to synthesise evidence on a research topic in a systematic way. In order to understand and contextualize their findings, it is important to assess the quality of the selected secondary studies. Objective: This paper aims to provide a state of the art on the assessment of secondary studies’ quality as conducted in tertiary studies in the area of software engineering, reporting the frameworks used as instruments, the facets examined in these frameworks, and the purposes of the quality assessment. Method: We designed this study as a systematic mapping responding to four research questions derived from the objective above. We applied a rigorous search protocol over the Scopus digital library, resulting in 47 papers after application of inclusion and exclusion criteria. The extracted data was synthesised using content analysis. Results: A majority of tertiary studies perform quality assessment. It is not often used for excluding studies, but to support some kind of investigation. The DARE quality assessment framework is the most frequently used, with customizations in some cases to cover missing facets. We outline the first steps towards building a new framework to address the shortcomings identified. Conclusion: This paper is a step forward establishing a foundation for researchers in two different ways. As authors of tertiary studies, understanding the different possibilities in which they can perform quality assessment of secondary studies. Actualmente las personas hacemos muchas cosas a lo largo del día y tenemos poco tiempo para informarnos de qué está pasando en el mundo. En este proyecto se desarrolla una API Rest con Spring y una aplicación web con Vue. El objetivo es ofrecer una aplicación que permite ver noticias de actualidad de diferentes medios acorde a los gustos de cada usuario. Para ello, cada usuario podrá valorar las noticias individualmente y obtendrá recomendaciones de otras noticias en base a ello. Con este proyecto se pretende que la gente pueda informarse de las noticias actuales teniendo en cuenta sus preferencias de manera rápida y sencilla., Nowadays, people do a lot of things throughout the day and have short time to know what is happening in the world. An API Rest with Spring and an application web with Vue are developed in this project. The objective is to offer an application to be able to see current news from different sources according to the preferences of each user. To do this, every user will be able to rate any news individually and will obtain some recommendations based on it. The aim of this project is that people can find out about current news taking into account their preferences quickly and easily.

Context: Tertiary studies in software engineering (TS@SE) are widely used to synthesise evidence on a research topic systematically. As part of their protocol, TS@SE define inclusion and exclusion criteria (IC/EC) aimed at selecting those secondary studies (SS) to be included in the analysis. Aims: To provide a state of the art on the definition and application of IC/EC in TS@SE, and from the results of this analysis, we outline an emerging framework, TSICEC, to be used by SE researchers. Method: To provide the state of the art, we conducted a systematic mapping (SM) combining automatic search and snowballing over the body of SE scientific literature, which led to 50 papers after application of our own IC/EC. The extracted data was synthesised using content analysis. The results were used to define a first version of TSICEC. Results: The SM resulted in a coding schema, and a thorough analysis of the selected papers on the basis of this coding. Our TSICEC framework includes guidelines for the definition of IC/EC in TS@SE. Conclusion: This paper is a step forward establishing a foundation for researchers in two ways. As authors, understanding the different possibilities to define IC/EC and apply them to select SS. El projecte comença amb un codi Matlab, ja desenvolupat, que resol l'encaminament òptim dels missatges a través d'una xarxa de repetidors al sistema solar. Es pretén que sigui una eina per explorar futures configuracions de naus espacials de retransmissió. Tenint en compte una xarxa de nodes, repetidors, del sistema solar i un període de temps, el codi calcula el camí òptim d'un missatge entre dos nodes i avalua la velocitat de bits en funció del temps. El codi utilitza la biblioteca SPICE de la NASA per avaluar la posició dels nodes, les ocultacions i, en general, totes les consultes geomètriques del sistema solar. L'objectiu principal del projecte és redissenyar el codi i implementar-lo a Java, de manera que sigui extensible, i versàtil (destinat a llargues tirades)., The project begins from a Matlab code, already developed, that solves optimal message routing through a Solar System relay network. It is intended to be a tool to explore future configurations of relay spacecraft. Given a network of nodes in the Solar System and a period of time, the code computes the optimal routing of a message from two nodes and evaluates the bit rate as a function of time. The code uses the NASA SPICE library to evaluate the position of the nodes, the occultations, and in general all the Solar System geometric queries. The main goal of the project is to re-design the code and implement it in Java, so that it is extensible and versatile (intended for long executions).

El sector de la restauració és un dels més rellevants al nostre país, suposant més d'un 6% del PIB total en 2019. A pesar que existeixen diferents solucions tecnològiques per a aquest tipus d'establiments, moltes de les accions que es realitzen dins d'un restaurant no estan del tot automatitzades o disten de ser eficients a la pràctica, tant a nivell informàtic com econòmic. D'altra banda, la situació de pandèmia actual per COVID-19 ha repercutit de manera directa en l'economia d'aquest sector, obligant al tancament de milers de restaurants. Basant-nos en aquests indicatius, aquest treball de fi de grau mostra el desenvolupament d'una solució tecnològica que permet als restaurants gestionar d'una forma ràpida i segura les ordres realitzades pels comensals. Això s'aconsegueix a través d'un petit dispositiu que es coloca a cada taula del restaurant i una aplicació que s'instal·la en el telèfon intel·ligent del comensal., The catering sector is one of the most relevant in Spain, assuming more than 6% of total GDP in 2019. In spite of the fact that there are different technological solutions for this kind of business, many of the actions that are carried out within a restaurant are not fully automated or are far from efficient in practice, both at an IT and economic level. However, the current pandemic situation due to COVID-19 has had a direct impact on the economy of this sector, closing down thousands of restaurants. Based on these facts, this final degree project shows the development of a technological solution that allows restaurants to quickly and safely manage the orders made by diners. This is achieved through a small device that is placed on each restaurant's table and an application that is installed on the diner's smartphone.

Avui en dia ens agrada estar ben informats i poder obtenir informació al moment. Tenim un gran ventall d'aplicacions mòbil per poder-nos comunicar amb qualsevol persona i poder saber d'ella a l'instant. Un dels missatges que molts de nosaltres solem enviar, és per informar a una altra persona que ja hem arribat o marxem d'una ubicació en concret. El problema es que moltes vegades ens oblidem d'enviar aquest missatge o l'enviem més tard del que ens agradaria. En aquest Treball de Final de Grau s'ha creat una aplicació mòbil que ajuda als usuaris amb l'automatització de l'enviament d'aquests missatges., Today we like to be well informed and to be able to obtain information at the moment. One of the messages that many of us usually send is to inform another person that we have already arrived or are leaving a specific location. The problem is that many times we forget to send this message or we send it later than we would like. In this Final Project, a mobile application has been created, which helps users to automate the sending of this type of message., Hoy en día nos gusta estar bien informados y poder obtener información al momento. Tenemos un gran abanico de aplicaciones móviles para podernos comunicar amb qualsevol persona y poder saber de ella al instante. Uno de los mensajes que muchos de nosotros solemos enviar, es para informar a otra persona que ya hemos llegado o nos vamos de una ubicación en concreto. El problema es que muchas veces nos olvidamos de enviar este mensaje o lo enviamos más tarde de lo que nos gustaría. En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se ha creado una aplicación móvil que ayuda a los usuarios a automatizar el envío de este tipo de mensajes.

Los estudiantes de la Facultat d'Informàtica de Barcelona interactúan con la facultad mediante una intranet llamada El Racó. Esta interacción se realiza constantemente, incluyendo situaciones en las que únicamente se tiene acceso desde un dispositivo móvil. Actualmente, el único método para acceder a este recurso es mediante un navegador web. Este proyecto pretende acercar la plataforma a un formato de aplicación móvil nativa con el fin de aprovechar los recursos que esta ofrece, como notificaciones y una mejor experiencia de navegación, para proporcionar al estudiante una experiencia cómoda y completa. Como base del proyecto, se trabajará sobre un aplicativo Android préviamente creado por el autor de este proyecto que interactúa con la API de la facultad. L'objectiu d'aquest treball és analitzar els patrons de disseny apli- cables a un sistema basat en microserveis que puguin ajudar a l'hora de desenvolupar una aplicació en aquest paradigma. Primerament, es descriurà en què consisteixen els microserveis i els patrons de disseny. Seguidament, es farà un estudi dels patrons de disseny existents ac- tualment que siguin més útils per a els casos més comuns a l'hora de desenvolupar un sistema d'aquestes caracter¿¿stiques. A part de pa- trons, també s'analitzaran quines tecnologies són les més adeqüades per a desenvolupar els casos que presenta el paradigma de microser- veis. Es descriurà cada patró i tecnologia i es donarà una explicació de quins problemes volen solucionar i quins avantatges i inconvenients comporten. Finalment, una vegada s'hagin treballat tots els patrons de disseny i totes les tecnologies, s'utilitzarà aquest coneixement per a desenvolupar una aplicació basada en microserveis que aprofiti el màxim número de patrons i tecnologies per analitzar-ne la seva viabi- litat i quins beneficis aporta realment. D'aquest exercici pràctic se'n treuran unes conclusions amb l'objectiu de validar l'exercici teòric., The goal of this project is to analyze the design patterns appli- cable to a microservices-based system that can be helpful in order to develop an application using this paradigm. Firsly, the concepts of microservices and design patterns will be defined. Next, we will study the existing design patterns that can be useful for the most common cases when developing a system of that kind. Apart from the design patterns, the technologies most fit for the cases that the microser- vices paradigm brings will also be analyzed. Every design pattern and technology will be described and a list of the problems that it solves and the advantadges and disadvantadges that it brings will be explained. Finally, once every pattern and technology are fully de- scribed, this knowledge will be used to develop an application based on microservices that uses as many design patterns and technologies as possible, in order to test their viability and the benefits that they actually bring. This practical exercise will generate some conclusions that will be used to validate the theoretical claims.

Quality requirements (QRs) are a key artifact needed to ensure the quality and success of a software system. Despite their importance, QRs rarely get the same degree of attention as their functional counterpart in agile software development (ASD) projects. Moreover, crucial information that can be obtained from software development repositories (e.g., JIRA, GitHub) is not fully exploited, or is even neglected, in QR elicitation activities. In this work, we present a data-driven tooled approach for the semi-automatic generation and documentation of QRs in the context of ASD. The approach is based on the declaration of thresholds over quality-related issues, whose violation triggers user-defined alerts. These alerts are used to browse a catalog of QR patterns that are presented to the ASD team by means of a dashboard that implements several analysis techniques. Once selected, the patterns generate the QRs, which are documented and stored in the product backlog. The full approach is implemented via a configurable platform. Over the course of 1 year, four companies differing in size and profile followed this approach and deployed the platform in their premises to semi-automatically generate QRs in several projects. We used standardized measurement instruments to elicit the perception of 22 practitioners regarding their use of the tool. The quantitative and qualitative analyses yielded positive results; i.e., the practitioners’ perception with regard to the tool’s understandability, reliability, usefulness, and relevance was positive. La empresa donde he realizado este Trabajo de Final de Grado, tiene como cliente una de las empresas de negocios más importantes de Barcelona. Este proyecto tiene como objetivo poner solución a diversos problemas de cara a la centralización, estructuración y accesibilidad de la información de dicha universidad. Analizaremos todas las posibles soluciones y utilizando tecnologías punteras llevaremos a cabo una solución escalable y re aprovechable en un futuro., Nowadays, keeping the information well-structured and accessible is something really important for a company. The consultancy where I have done this Final Degree Project has as a client one of the most successful business schools of Barcelona. This project has as goal getting to a solution to some problems towards the centralization, structure and accessibility of the information of this university. We will analyze all the possible solutions and using cutting-edge technologies we will find a scalable and reusable solution.

Los requisitos de calidad (también llamados requisitos no-funcionales) son aquellos que permiten asegurar la calidad del software. Incluyen aspectos muy diversos, como disponibilidad, seguridad, rendimiento, escalabilidad, portabilidad y usabilidad, entre otros. Los continuos avances tecnológicos, como el software en la nube o el Internet de las Cosas, presentan nuevos retos en el desarrollo del software para poder garantizar un nivel de calidad satisfactorio de dichos aspectos. Asimismo, las metodologías de desarrollo ágil, cuyo uso viene en aumento, tales como SCRUM, XP, Kanban, no dan el soporte necesario para la gestión de dichos requisitos de calidad. Con el fin de facilitar a los ingenieros del software la toma de decisiones sobre el nivel de calidad necesario en un proyecto, es imprescindible conocer de antemano: 1) qué criterios se van a tener en cuenta para verificar, priorizar, planificar y/o negociar los requisitos de calidad. Asimismo, es necesario: 2) precisar cómo se van a evaluar dichos criterios, y 3) identificar qué factores del contexto del proyecto pueden afectar dicha evaluación. Para intentar dar respuesta a estas 3 cuestiones o preguntas de investigación, los autores de este capítulo han diseñado y están llevando a cabo un estudio sistemático de la literatura. Este trabajo presenta para su discusión la descripción de la metodología seguida en ese estudio, así como algunos de los resultados preliminares obtenidos durante su ejecución., Peer Reviewed, Postprint (published version)
