P5 ATPases are evolutionarily conserved P‐type transporters. Despite their important roles in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and in lysosomes, the substrate specificities and transporting mechanisms of P5 ATPases have remained mysterious. Recently, several studies have provided genetic, biochemical, and structural evidence to help elucidate the physiological functions and substrates of P5 ATPases. The waste rock heap is a kind of potential uranium (U) pollution source in U mining and metallurgy areas. In this study, we discussed the distribution characteristics of U in the soil (sludge) around a waste rock heap of a granite-type U mine in southern China, and the aim was to indicate U releasing behavior from the pollution source from the perspective of the sink. This work proves that U carried by colloidal solution can be transported for a longer distance. Thus, in the follow-up regulation engineering for U waste rock heap to inhibit U from entering the environment, it should be concerned on not only the diffusion of U in the form of debris, but especially the migration of U as colloidal solution. The increasing popularity of mobile applications has catalyzed advancements in object tracking algorithms for mobile platforms. This paper introduces a lightweight object tracking algorithm, designed for real-time and accurate tracking on mobile devices. We propose a feature extraction network with a quantization-friendly architecture and a novel mask-based padding method to enhance tracking precision. By refining MobileNetV3's structure, we mitigate accuracy degradation during quantization and reduce computational demands. The proposed padding technique addresses the outlier generation issue common in traditional padding methods, thereby enhancing positional accuracy. Additionally, an extent adjustment module is incorporated to facilitate prompt error correction during suboptimal tracking. Comprehensive evaluations on OTB50, OTB100, VOT2018, UAV123, and LaSOT demonstrate the superiority of our method over several state-of-the-art trackers in both speed and accuracy. Cystatin C (CysC) can be used to diagnose early changes in renal insufficiency. However, there are little researches to study whether there is an interference between the level of CysC and RF. Thus, we conducted this study to investigate it. We randomly selected 30 patients with high RF (RF concentration: 552.05 ± 476.23 IU/mL) and 33 healthy subjects with RF concentration <11.1 IU/mL and CysC were measured with different reagents and instruments; Interference experiment was also be included. The results showed that the measured CysC concentration increases with increasing RF concentration in a dose-dependent manner and CysC levels are falsely increased by RF interference depends on the reagents used (CysC reagent: Whitman, Nanjing, China). Reagent manufacturers should fully consider RF interference when developing CysC reagents, and evaluate them before they are sold. • Over 1000 direct numerical simulations (DNS) of a spherocylinder in a flow at Reynolds number ranging from 0.1 to 300, aspect ratio from 1 to 6, and orientation from 0 to 90 ° were performed. • The DNS results were used to develop a general correlation of drag coefficient of spherocylinders. • A systematic analysis was conducted to show the dependence of the drag coefficient on aspect ratio, orientation, and Reynolds number as well as the general trends of the drag coefficient. • Comparisons with DNS data and results found in the literature have shown that the general drag coefficient is of high accuracy, with a difference typically less than 5%. The dimensionless hydrodynamic force and torque or drag, lift and torque coefficients exerted on spherocylinders placed in uniform flows depend on three dimensionless parameters: the aspect ratio β , the incident angle θ , and the flow Reynolds number Re. An accurate Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS) method is developed and more than one thousand simulations are performed to generate numerical data on the drag of spherocylinders in the aspect ratio range 1 ≤ β ≤ 6 , incident angle range 0 ∘ ≤ θ ≤ 90 ∘ , and Reynolds number range 0.1 ≤ Re ≤ 300. A systematic analysis of the data shows the correct dependence of the drag coefficient on β, θ and Re as well as the general trends of the drag coefficient. It also generates an accurate engineering correlation with an average error of around 2%, when compared to the more than one thousand DNS numerical results. The results also show – and analysis explains – other salient features of the drag on spherocylinders, in particular the exponent for the function sinθ , and a local minimum of the drag coefficient, which is due to the interplay between the friction and the form (pressure) parts of the drag. The tracker based on correlation filter shows excellent performance in tracking accuracy and running speed. However, the models of correlated filter trackers are always updated with fixed weights, which can degrade the tracking performance when the target in a variety of challenging scenarios. In this paper, we present a model adaptive updating method based on a fuzzy system, which can set different updating weights on each frame to effectively deal with the challenging scenarios in the tracking process. Attractively, this method can be perfectly used in all trackers based on correlation filtering. In addition, we combine deep CNN features that can describe target semantics with HOG features that have spatial descriptions. Using their complementarity to target descriptions, we establish HOG-based filter model and CNN-based filter model. To two response maps of the models, we propose a different fusion strategy based on quality measurement of tracking results, which can balance the accuracy and robustness of the tracker. Experiments on OTB-2013, OTB-2015, benchmark videos, and VOT2018 dataset show that our tracker (called MACF) is effective and exhibits competitive results compared with the recent state-of-the-art (SOTA) trackers. • Pearson correlation coefficient can analyze the similarity of two response maps. • The response maps are fused by the quality of the tracking results. • A fuzzy system is used to address different challenging scenarios. Highlights • In the US, full-time workers are more likely to obtain employer-sponsored health insurance (EHI) than part-time workers. • We develop a general equilibrium life-cycle model with endogenous labor supply and uncertain medical expenses. • We find that EHI is an important factor that explains the differences in aggregate labor supply between the U.S. and European countries. Abstract We study the impact of the U.S. employment-based health insurance system on the employment rate, the shares of full-time/part-time workers, and aggregate hours worked in a general equilibrium life cycle model with incomplete markets and idiosyncratic risks in both income and medical expenses. In contrast to most Europeans, who get universal health insurance from the government, most working-age Americans get health insurance through their employers. We find that the employment-based health insurance system provides Americans with an extra incentive to work and work full-time. In a calibrated version of the model, we assess the extent to which the different health insurance systems account for the differences in employment rate and full-time/part-time shares of workers between the U.S. and European countries. Our quantitative results suggest that the different health insurance systems can account for a significant fraction of the differences in employment rate and full-time/part-time shares of workers between the two regions. This paper reports on successful preparation of α-NaYF 4 single crystals co-doped with ∼1.9 mol% Tm 3+ and various concentrations (3.85 mol%, 7.69 mol%, 11.54 mol%, 15.38 mol%) of Yb 3+ by using a flux-Bridgman method. The fluorescence decay curve was measured to investigate the luminescent properties of the Yb 3+ /Tm 3+ co-doped α-NaYF 4 , and the energy transfer process from Yb 3+ to Tm 3+ ; the J-O intensity parameters of Tm 3+ were further calculated and analyzed according to the absorption spectra. Results show that, an intense 1.8 μm emission was achieved with Yb 3+ as sensitizer for Tm 3+ in the α-NaYF 4 single crystal under the excitation of 980 nm LD (Laser Diode) because of the strong energy transfer from Yb 3+ to Tm 3+ . The maximum emission intensity at 1.8 μm is obtained at about 15.38 mol% doping concentration of Yb 3+ when the concentration of Tm 3+ ions is fixed at ∼1.90 mol% in the current research. Moreover, the calculated maximum value of emission cross section at 1.8 μm is 1.63 × 10 −20 cm 2 for 3.85 mol% Yb 3+ /1.9 mol% Tm 3+ sample, and the obtained energy transfer rate ( W ET ) and energy transfer efficiency ( η ) are 1543 s −1 and 83.8%, respectively. Our analysis of the fluorescence dynamics indicates that electric dipole-dipole interaction is dominant for the energy transfer from Yb 3+ ions to Tm 3+ ions by using Inokuti-Hirayama’s model. This work presents the luminescent properties of Ho 3+ /Tm 3+ co-doped Na 5 Lu 9 F 32 single crystals that were grown by an improved Bridgman method for the first time. The J–O intense parameters of Ho 3+ ions were calculated. An intense 2.0 μm emission was achieved with Tm 3+ ions sensitizing Ho 3+ ions by the processing of energy transfer from Tm 3+ ions to Ho 3+ ions under excitation of 800 nm LD. The maximum emission intensity at 2.0 μm is obtained, and the cross sections of Tm 3+ ions and Ho 3+ ions were calculated. Cubic NaYF 4 single crystals co-doped with ∼1.90 mol% Tm 3+ and various Ho 3+ concentrations were grown by Bridgman method. The energy transfer from Tm 3+ to Ho 3+ and the optimum fluorescence emission around 2.04 μm of Ho 3+ ion were investigated based on the measured absorption spectra, emission spectra, emission cross section and decay curves under excitation of 800 nm LD. The emission intensity at 2.04 μm increased with the increase of Ho 3+ concentration from 0.96 mol% to 3.89 mol% when the concentration of Tm 3+ was held constantly at ∼1.90 mol%. Moreover, the maximum emission cross section reached 1.06 × 10 −20 cm 2 and the maximum fluorescence lifetime was 23.23 ms for Tm 3+ (1.90 mol%)/Ho 3+ (3.89 mol%) co-doped one. According to the measured lifetime of Tm 3+ single-doped and Tm 3+ /Ho 3+ co-doped samples, the maximum energy transfer efficiency of Tm 3+ : 3 F 4 level was 95.0%. Abstract: By using function vertical scaling factors, a method of construction for the fractal interpolation surfaces on a rectangular domain with arbitrary interpolation nodes is proposed. With the function vertical scaling factors, one class of iterated function systems are constructed. The existence of the unique invariant set of the iterated function system in is proved. And it is also proved that, for special vertical scaling factors, the invariant set is the graph of a continuous bivariate function passing through the given interpolation nodes. Abstract: The fractal interpolation surface on the rectangular domain is discussed in this paper. We study the properties of the oscillation and the variation of bivariate continuous functions. Then we discuss the special properties of bivariate fractal interpolation function, and estimate the value of its variation. Using the relation between the Minkowski dimension of the graph of continuous function and its variation, we obtain the exact value of the Minkowski dimension of the fractal interpolation surface. Abstract: In this paper, the theory based on multi-sensor information fusion is studied, which is used to evaluate the health condition of liquid-propellant rocket engine ground-testing bed. The concept of health degree is defined. It is used as a quantitative index for evaluating the health condition of the ground-testing bed. In order to evaluate the health condition of the ground-testing bed on different levels, health degrees of a single parameter, of a sub-system and of a system are defined. They accordingly measure the health conditions of single parameter, sub-system and system of the ground-testing bed. The method of fuzzy data fusion is used to calculate the health degree. In this method the weight of each monitoring sensor is calculated by analytic hierarchy process (AHP), then, the multi-sensor data are fused by the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, next, the sequence data are fused by two-grade index evaluation method, finally, the health degree is calculated by defuzzification method. Based on these, the health condition evaluation system of ground-testing bed is set up, which can evaluate the health condition of the ground-testing bed properly and quantitatively. Functional digraphs are sometimes fractal sets. As a special kind of fractal sets, the dimension properties of the functional digraph are studied in this paper. Firstly, the proof of a Minkowski dimension theorem is discussed and a new proof is given. Secondly, according to this dimension theorem, the Minkowski dimensions of the digraphs of the sum, deviation, product and quotient of two functions are discussed. And the relations between these Minkowski dimensions and the Minkowski dimensions of the digraphs of the two functions are established. In this paper, we present some numerical algorithms devoted to analysis of low- and high-velocity impact of deformable bodies. For modeling of contact phenomena involved in impact problems, an implicit method is used rather than the most popular penalty explicit method. For the appropriate time integration of the discretized equation of motion, a first order algorithm is suggested rather than the most common second order algorithms such as Newmark, Wilson, etc. Numerical results are presented for dynamic analysis such as low-velocity impact of an elastic plate on a rigid surface with rebounding and high-velocity impact of an elastic–plastic copper bar on a rigid wall. In this paper, by using fractal curves, a family of fractal surfaces are defined. Each fractal surface of this family is called Star Product Fractal Surface (SPFS). A theorem of the dimensions of the SPFS is strictly proved. The relationship between the dimensions of the SPFS and the dimensions of the fractal curves constructing the SPFS is obtained. Soil radon anomaly is a common phenomenon in karst areas. In this paper, the geochemical behavior of radium (Ra) in the process of carbonate rock weathering and soil formation was used to reveal the accumulation mechanism of soil radon. In the karst area and non-karst area, 24 soil points were collected to measure radon and radium, and a carbonate weathering profile was collected in the karst area. The research showed that: (1) the theoretical radon value obtained from Ra is far greater than the radon value measured on site, indicating that soil Ra can provide a potential source for the source of soil Rn; (2) through the study of the geochemical behavior of Ra during the weathering process, it was found that Ra was significantly enriched during carbonate weathering. Na 5 Lu 9 F 32 single crystals co-doped with various Er 3+ /Yb 3+ concentrations were grown by an improved Bridgman method for the first time. The crystal structure is characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD). High transmission in the range from 400 nm to 7150 nm and maximum phonon energy about 441 cm −1 for the Na 5 Lu 9 F 32 single crystals are obtained from the measured transmission and Raman spectra, respectively. The Judd-Ofelt parameters of Er 3+ in the obtained crystal was calculated and discussed according to the measured absorption spectra. Compared with the Er 3+ single-doped Na 5 Lu 9 F 32 crystal, an obviously enhanced emission band at 1500 nm was observed upon excitation of 980 nm laser diode (LD) via energy transfer from Yb 3+ to Er 3+ . Decay curve fitting using a Inokuti-Hirayama expression indicates dipole-dipole energy transfer from Yb 3+ to Er 3+ .The maximum emission cross section at ∼1.5 μm was also calculated to be 10.12 × 10 −20 cm 2 for the Na 5 Lu 9 F 32 single crystal of 1% Er 3+ and 6% Yb 3+ in molar fraction doping concentration. The α-NaYF 4 single crystals doped with 0.2 mol%, 0.5 mol%, 1 mol%, 2 mol% and 3 mol% Er 3+ ions were fabricated by an improved Bridgman method. The ~1.5 µm and ~2.7 µm emission properties were investigated in detail through the measured absorption and emission spectra. A Judd–Ofelt analysis of Er 3+ in α-NaYF 4 samples is performed. The Judd–Ofelt parameters are obtained (Ω 2 =2.71×10 −20 cm 2 , Ω 4 =2.28×10 −20 cm 2 , Ω 6 =0.84×10 −20 cm 2 ) and the radiative lifetimes of Er 3+ energy levels and the branching ratios of Er 3+ transitions are calculated. The calculated maximum emission cross section by McCumber theory for ~1.5 µm and ~2.7 µm reached 1.35×10 −20 cm 2 and 2.2×10 −20 cm 2 , respectively. The gain cross section spectra were calculated based on the absorption and emission cross section spectra. In this study, a bibliometric analysis was performed to evaluate the global scientific production on oyster research from the period of 1991 to 2014. This analysis was based on the Science Citation Index Expanded database. A total of 11,493 publications were identified, and two main aspects were analysed: (1) publication performance and (2) research emphases and trends. The result indicated the annual publications on oyster study increased in number. The USA published the most papers in this field and was the most frequent partner in international collaborations. Pierre Boudry and Ximing Guo were the two most productive authors. The most productive institution was the French Research Institute for Exploitation of the Sea. The Journal of Shellfish Research and Aquaculture were two most productive journals. Analyses of author keywords suggested that 'growth' was the most frequently used term followed by 'aquaculture'. The major research areas related to oysters were 'growth, reproduction and mortality', 'abiotic factors', 'biotic factors', 'immunity', 'ecology', 'pollution', 'nutrition', 'aquaculture and food safety' and 'methods or technology'. Researches about ' Vibrio parahaemolyticus', 'norovirus', ' Ostreid herpesvirus 1', 'climate change', 'ocean acidification' and 'pH' have become increasingly more common. 'Proteomics', 'transcriptome' and 'ecosystem services' have been the new research topics in recent years. Although a large number of Triassic magmatism were found in the Qiangtang terrane, central Tibet, the tectonic evolution of the Shuanghu Palaeo‐Tethys Ocean remains controversial. In this study, we present the zircon U–Pb age and major‐ and trace‐element data for the Late Triassic pluton from the Cairi area in the eastern Qiangtang terrane. Zircon U–Pb dating indicates that the samples were emplaced at ca. 230 Ma. The magmatism from the Cairi area primarily consists of granites (SiO2 = 67.28–77.74), with the characteristics of medium‐K calc‐alkaline, metaluminous, and peraluminous. The Cairi granites are enriched light rare earth elements ([La/Yb]N = 5.01–10.56), with obvious Eu anomaly (Eu/Eu* = 0.32–0.47). The Cairi granites are characterized by low 1,000 × Ga/Al (2.10–2.64), FeO*/MgO (3.41–5.03), Ce (57.95–114.36 ppm), Y (27.30–45.19 ppm), and negative correlation between P2O5 and SiO2. These geochemical features reveal that the Cairi granites are calc‐alkaline, I‐type granites. The four samples show relatively restricted (87Sr/86Sr)i ratios (0.70598–0.70724), 143Nd/144Nd ratios (0.51192–0.51196), and εNd(t) of −8.19 to −7.54. Based on the variations of Rb–Sr–Ba and Th–La–Nb and the zircon saturation of temperatures (806–868°C), we suggest that the primary magmas of the Cairi granites were generated through various degrees of mixing between sediments and mantle‐derived components. Petrological and geochemical characteristics, as well as regional geological characteristics indicate that the Cairi granites formed in a continental volcanic arc setting. Our results, in combination with the coeval granites and elcogite, indicate that the generation of Late Triassic (ca. 230 Ma) Cairi granites is related to ocean ridge subduction and subsequent development of a slab window. Abstract: The main objective of this study was to compare the performance of three kinds of stone matrix asphalt (SMA) mixtures (using basalt coarse and fine aggregates, named B-SMA; limestone coarse and fine aggregates, named L-SMA; basalt coarse aggregates and limestone fine aggregates, named BL-SMA). The results indicated that B-SMA shows the best rutting resistance, followed by BL-SMA and L-SMA comes in last. However, in terms of low temperature performance of resistance to cracking and moisture susceptibility, they have the reverse sequence. The aggregate type has a significant effect on rutting resistance, but no significant difference in low temperature cracking susceptibility or moisture susceptibility was found in SMA mixtures. Also, master curves of dynamic modulus for three SMA mixtures were constructed and B-SMA shows the highest dynamic modulus, while L-SMA shows the smallest dynamic modulus at each frequency. Advanced driver assistance systems (ADASs) used for pedestrian detection, parking assist, night vision, blind-spot monitoring, collision avoidance, and other such capabilities have significantly enhanced car safety and reduced the risk of dangerous accidents. Their further evolution into a network of intelligent systems using vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications is paving the way for autonomous driving. To support these advanced technologies, automotive electronics must be overhauled to enable machine learning capabilities, particularly deep learning, to transform the typical car into a smart system on wheels. Thermal reliability is critical because these high-power, intelligent electronics systems must last more than 10 years under often hostile thermal environments. In this paper, an event-triggering scheme is implemented in uncertain switched linear systems with time-varying delays and exogenous disturbance. Instead of standard periodically time-triggered, sampled-data control systems, the event-triggered control systems sample data only when an event, typically defined as some performance error exceeding a tolerant bound, occurs. Specifically, considering the disturbance existing in the system, the event-triggered robustH∞control problem is studied. In order to guarantee the robustH∞performance, the event-triggered full state feedback control, multiple Lyapunov functions method and state-dependent switching law are utilised to construct sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequalities. In particular, since the event-triggered signals and switching signals may interlace with each other, the influence from them on the analysis of robustH∞performance is clarified. Subsequently, sufficient design conditions of the sub-controllers’ gains are further presented. Moreover, the Zeno problem is discussed to exclude continuously triggering and sampling. This paper reports on successful synthesis of ?-NaYF4single crystal doped with Eu3+at various concentrations by a modified Bridgman method. The crystal structure is characterized by means of X-ray diffraction. The absorption spectra, excitation spectra and emission spectra were measured to investigate the optical properties of the single crystals. An intense red emission located at 611 nm with long lifetime of 9.03 ms was observed in single crystal under the excitation of 394 nm light. It benefits from the low maximum phonon energy of ?-NaYF4single crystal matrix (390 cm?1). The CIE chromaticity coordinate of the ?-NaYF4single crystal doped Eu3+in 4 mol% concentration was calculated (x = 0.6055,y = 0.388), which was close to the National Television Standard Committee standard values for red phosphor (x = 0.67,y = 0.33). All these spectral properties suggest that that this kind of fluoride crystal with high thermal stability and high efficiency of red emission may be used as potential red phosphors for optical devices. Abstract: In this paper, a III–V/silicon hybrid single-mode on-chip laser is presented. The mode-selection mechanism of the hybrid mode laser is based on a racetrack resonator with periodic microstructures. The laser only needs standard photolithography in the whole fabrication process. Better mode characteristics can be realized comparing to simple runway ring laser. Abstract: The dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) was applied to investigate the damping properties of Mg–Ca binary alloys both at room and elevated temperatures. The results show the as-cast Mg–1wt%Ca binary alloy exhibits good damping capacities, which could be of a potential candidate for damping magnesium alloys. The Ca has greatly effect on the damping properties of Mg–Ca alloys. In addition, the damping measurement of Mg–1wt%Ca alloy with increasing temperature has also been carried out. Abstract: Applied SEM and TEM methods, an investigation on the difference between equilibrium and non-equilibrium microstructures of Mg–Zn–Y quasicrystal alloys have been carried out. Icosahedral quasicrystal (I-phase), W-phase, and Mg7Zn3 phase have been obtained in the as-cast alloy, while the non-equilibrium microstructure, which is mainly made up of amorphous composition and stable I-phase, is gained in the as-quenched Mg–Zn–Y alloy. The mechanism of formation of the non-equilibrium microstructure in as-quenched alloy is also discussed. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

The Jilinbaolige polymetallic deposit, located in the Dong Ujimqin Banner in Inner Mongolia, China, belongs to the Daxinganling and Nangebi-Dongwu Banner polymetallic metallogenic belts. In recent years, many medium to large Ag-Pb-Zn deposits have been discovered, but due to their deep burial and the Quaternary soils cover, mineral exploration is difficult. In order to investigate the relationship among the mineralization, rock body and tectonic structures in the study region, we implemented 5.57 km2 magnetic exploration and four audio-magnetotelluric survey lines with 184 exploration points. Through comprehensive geophysical and geological inference and interpretation, we identified two types of granite which were formed at different stages in the early Yanshanian period, and inferred the NNE F4, NW F5 and NW F6 faults as the ore-conducting and ore-hosting structures of the Ag-Pb-Zn deposits. We determined that the faults' intersections provide the main metallogenic spaces while also locating concealed rock bodies interspersed as small stocks or veins within the upper Devonian Anguinwula formation. Apparently the Ag-Pb-Zn deposits are closely related to subsequently intrusive monzonitic granites of the early Yanshanian period. As confirmed by drilling, many Ag-Pb-Zn ore veins are found at 550–600 m depths and monzonitic granite porphyries at 750 m depth. Our geophysical exploration results reveal the coupling relationship between the concealed rock bodies and metallogenic structures, which can provide direction and effective geophysical methods to prospect for potentially similar deposits in the surrounding area. • Comprehensive geophysical and geological methods were used to investigate metallogenic regularity. • Two types of Yanshanian granites, exhibiting strong and weak magnetism, have been detected. • Results show that Ag-Pb-Zn mineralization is closely related to strongly magnetic granite. • Coupling relationship was found between concealed a rock body and metallotectonics. • Methods for seeking analogous deposits in the study region are proposed.
