A traffic accident is an emergency condition that requires immediate or life-threatening help. It is important for all people to have readiness regarding initial handling/first aid quickly and precisely so that the chain of handling traffic accident victims can run properly and correctly. This research aims to find out how the level of community readiness for emergency first aid for victims of traffic accidents on Jalan Raya Gapura, Sumenep Regency. This study uses a descriptive design. The population and sample of this study, namely the entire community along the edge of Jalan Raya Gapura, Braji Village, Sumenep Regency, consisting of 30 people, used a non-probability sampling technique - total sampling. The research instrument used a Type Multiple Choice Questionnaire with 10 questions. The results of the data are processed by means of editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. Nearly half of the respondents were in the unprepared category 14 (47%), almost half of the respondents were in the quite ready category 10 (33%), and a small proportion of respondents were in the ready category 6 (20%). Based on the results of the study, it was found that most of the community's readiness level for emergency first aid for victims of traffic accidents on Jalan Raya Gapura, Sumenep Regency, was with a less prepared level of readiness.

Intermittent demand data is data with infrequent demand with varying number of demand sizes. Intermittent demand forecasting is useful for providing inventory control decisions. It is very important to produce accurate forecasts. Based on previous research, deep learning models, especially MLP and RNN-based architectures, have not been able to provide better intermittent data forecasting results compared to traditional methods. This research will focus on analyzing the results of intermittent data forecasting using deep learning with several levels of aggregation and a combination of several levels of aggregation. In this research, the LSTM model is implemented into two traditional models that use aggregation techniques and are specifically used for intermittent data forecasting, namely ADIDA and MAPA. The result, based on tests on the six predetermined data, the LSTM model with aggregation and disaggregation is able to provide better test results than the LSTM model without aggregation and disaggregation.

The number of illegal mining sites in Indonesia is estimated to be around 2.700, with the number of mining accidents reaching 104 in the period 2013-2021. The number of accidents is high and often causes fatalities. This research focuses on reactivating illegal mining in Pancurendang as a source of livelihood for the local community. We focused on analyzing the causes of the trapping of 8 miners in Pancurendang Mine. It revealed more than 110 mining pits, with 30 active mining pits in the mine. The methodology we used was the Human Factor Analysis Classification System (HFACS) framework to process the data. Data collection was conducted by direct observation at the incident site, interviews with miners and the national rescue agency, as well as a comprehensive literature review. Improvements were proposed in a hierarchical analysis based on the HFACS Framework. The analysis showed that the incident was caused by several factors, such as skill-based error, physical environment, absence of supervisor, organizational physics and societal. The results of this study highlight the need for the development of professional mine organizations, safer working environments and responsibility for safety in small-scale gold mining, and provide valuable insights in the development of geotechnical engineering.

It has recently come to light that toxoplasmosis may be linked to a number of neurological and developmental conditions, including autism, and the current study aimed to screen for anti-Toxoplasma antibodies in children with autism and metabolic changes that may be related to toxoplasmosis. The study was conducted from November 2023 to February 2024 in Baghdad, Iraq. A total of 88 children between the ages of 2-11 years participated in this study. A psychopathologist diagnosed 44 of them with autism, while the remaining 44 were regarded as the control group because they did not exhibit any autistic symptoms. Each child had serum samples drawn and analysed for the following: lipid profile, anthropometric measurements, anti-Toxoplasma antibodies, adiponectin, leptin, chemerine, and Adipocyte Fatty Acid-Binding Protein (AFABP). Metabolic syndrome was assessed in each participant. Of the patients with autism, 31.82% showed anti-Toxoplasma antibodies compared to only 11.36% in the control group. A significant correlation (p<0.01) was found between the seropositivity rates of T. gondii and autism. Four subgroups were established based on previous findings: Autism-Toxoplasma-positive, Autism-Toxoplasma-negative, control-Toxoplasma-positive, and control-Toxoplasma-negative. There was no statistically significant difference in body mass index (BMI) between the control group and the autistic patients, whereas the control group with Toxoplasma +ve had the highest BMI value when compared to the other groups. Cholesterol levels were significantly lower than the control, while no significant differences were observed in cholesterol levels among the four subgroups. No significant differences were observed in HDL levels among the four subgroups. The results also revealed that leptin was the only adipokine that was significantly increased in patients with autism. In contrast, adiponectine, chemerine, and AFABP levels did not significantly vary among the subgroups. Finally, metabolic syndrome was significantly associated with autism (P < 0.05). Macrophages (MΦs) in their pro-inflammatory state (M1) suppress tumour growth, while tumour-associated MΦs (TAMs) can promote tumour progression. The aim of this study was to test the hypothesis that targeted delivery of the immune activator poly(I:C) in aspherical silica microrods (µRs) can repolarize TAMs into M1-like cells. µRs (10 µm × 3 µm) were manufactured from silica nanoparticles and stabilized with dextran sulphate and polyethyleneimine. The THP-1 cell line, differentiated into MΦs, and primary human monocyte-derived MΦs (HMDMs) were treated with tumour-cell-conditioned medium (A549), but only HMDMs could be polarized towards TAMs. Flow cytometry and microscopy revealed elevated uptake of µRs by TAMs compared to non-polarized HMDMs. Flow cytometry and qPCR studies on polarization markers showed desirable effects of poly(I:C)-loaded MPs towards an M1 polarization. However, unloaded µRs also showed distinct actions, which were not induced by bacterial contaminations. Reporter cell assays showed that µRs induce the secretion of the inflammatory cytokine IL-1β. Macrophages from Nlrp3 knockout mice showed that µRs in concentrations as low as 0.5 µR per cell can activate the inflammasome and induce cell death. In conclusion, our data show that µRs, even if unloaded, can induce inflammasome activation and cell death in low concentrations.

Background & objective: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is known to have caused respiratory function derangement that can affect changes in the body's physiological conditions even after the active phase of infection is over. This study aimed to overview the Post-COVID-19 Functional Status (PCFS) scale at the 3rd and 6th months after treatment of moderate to severe COVID-19 infections in our tertiary referral hospital. Methodology: A descriptive observational study was conducted for confirmed COVID-19 patients with moderate to severe symptoms treated in Hasan Sadikin Hospital from June-August of 2021 by following them at third- and sixth-month post-infection and their PCFS was recorded. A total of 153 patients were enrolled in the study. Results: Eighty subjects (52.3%) were male, and 91 subjects (59.4%) had an average body mass index. Thirty-seven (24.2%) patients were diagnosed with severe symptoms, and 116 (75.8%) were diagnosed with moderate symptoms. In their third month post-infection, 30.7% of patients were on a scale of 0, 32.7% on a scale of 1, 20.9% on a scale of 2, 12.4% on a scale of 3, and 3.3% on a scale of 4. In their sixth month post-infection, 81.7% of patients were on a scale of 0, 15% on a scale of 1, and 3.3% on a scale of 3. Conclusion: The assessment of post-COVID-19 functional status has a significant role in understanding the pathophysiology and recovery process of the disease. The patients are recommended to have medical check-ups regarding organ function to determine the impact of COVID-19 and advised to undergo medical rehabilitation to return to their initial functional status. This article presents a case study of a patient who has both multiple self-healing squamous epithelioma (MSSE) and features of Loeys-Dietz syndrome (LDS). MSSE is a rare condition characterized by the development of keratinizing tumors that regress on their own, while LDS is a connective tissue disorder that affects the aortic root. The patient in the study had recurrent keratoacanthomas and squamous cell carcinomas, and genetic testing revealed a pathogenic variant in the TGFBR1 gene. The article highlights the need for further research on the relationship between genotype and phenotype in disorders caused by TGFBR1 pathogenic variants, and emphasizes the importance of dermatologists being aware of potential aortic root dilatation in patients with MSSE. Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome is a commonly undiagnosed cardiac rhythm anomaly in a previously healthy patient who may precipitate malignant arrhythmia under surgical stress. We report successful management of a reconstruction surgery patient who developed cardiac arrest under general anesthesia due to undiagnosed WPW syndrome and a malignant arrhythmia during subsequent emergency surgery. A male patient with no previous history of the co-existing disease, age 23 years old underwent 14 hours of leg reconstruction with a posterior back flap. At the end of the surgery, the patient developed malignant arrhythmia that worsens to pulseless ventricular tachycardia. High-quality resuscitation was conducted and resulted in the return of spontaneous circulation. The patient had to undergo emergency surgery the next day, and another episode of intraoperative malignant arrhythmia was treated with propafenone and diltiazem. The patient underwent ablation postoperatively and, on the 14th day, was discharged without any residual complications. In conclusion, WPW may appear asymptomatic in a healthy young patient. Good anesthesia management and monitoring, knowledge of selective antiarrhythmic drugs and high-quality resuscitation skills can provide an optimal outcome in an unpredicted intraoperative crisis.

Adaptation to the scrap metal business in Surabaya as a livelihood is monitored and analyzed the Madurese adaptation behavior in the scrap metal business operating in the City of Surabaya. This study uses ethnographic methods with data collection techniques of observation and in-depth interviews, data analysis techniques using ethnographic analysis using the Adaptation Theory of Usman Pelly. The results showed that in the adaptation carried out by scrap metal business (Founders) as immigrants of the Madurese Tribe in the City of Surabaya by working with fellow relatives of the scrap metal businessmen of the Madurese Tribe in the City of Surabaya, in addition, relatives who had first migrated in the City Surabaya can guarantee the economic life of overseas relatives by creating jobs within the scope of the scrap metal business. This was repeated to other relatives who wanted to develop in overseas lands as a reciprocal relationship as an Adaptation process. This adaptation was carried out in the process of dealing with the competition of the scrap metal business which strengthened the dominance of the Madurese Tribe in the scrap metal business in the city of Surabaya

The sixth of nine Indonesian national development agendas under the President Joko Widodo administration is to increase productivity and competitiveness, one of which is by the establishment of Techno Parks. The projects will be terminated in 2019; however, exit strategies that contribute to sustainable development have been rarely considered throughout the history of development studies and practice. This paper examines the concept of exit strategies within the context of a case study of the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI)-assisted project of the Tasikmalaya Techno Park (TP) from 2015-2019. It addresses two questions: (1) How has LIPI executed the TP project in Tasikmalaya throughout the period? (2) What is the recommended exit strategy for regional policymakers after project termination? To overview the implementation of TP activities, an internal- external analysis was conducted, and to formulate exit strategies, SWOT and QSPM were employed. Data were collected from July-September 2018, consisting of primary data collected from competent respondents by semi-structured and in-depth interviews selected by the purposive sampling method as well as secondary data compiled from relevant institutions. The conclusion is that the Tasikmalaya TP has five core businesses and its mission is to become a center for dissemination, technology transfer, and agribusiness incubator. The TP was present in quadrant I, meaning that aggressive strategies were recommended. There were four future management options and independent management was considered as the most appropriate. Its role should be more supported by middle- to long-term strategies and a well prepared legal system. Policy implications are discussed.

Background: Based on reports on elevated cholesterol levels in cancer cells, strategies to lower cholesterol synthesis have been suggested as an antitumour strategy. However, cholesterol depletion has also been shown to induce tumour-promoting actions in tumour-associated macrophages (TAMs). Methods: We performed lipidomic and transcriptomic analyses of human lung cancer material. To assess whether the TAM phenotype is shaped by secreted factors produced by tumour cells, primary human monocyte-derived macrophages were polarized towards a TAM-like phenotype using tumour cell-conditioned medium. Findings: Lipidomic analysis of lung adenocarcinoma (n=29) and adjacent non-tumour tissues (n=22) revealed a significant accumulation of free cholesterol and cholesteryl esters within the tumour tissue. In contrast, cholesterol levels were reduced in TAMs isolated from lung adenocarcinoma tissues when compared with alveolar macrophages (AMs) obtained from adjacent non-tumour tissues. Bulk-RNA-Seq revealed that genes involved in cholesterol biosynthesis and metabolism were downregulated in TAMs, while cholesterol efflux transporters were upregulated. In vitro polarized TAM-like macrophages showed an attenuated lipogenic gene expression signature and exhibited lower cholesterol levels compared with non-polarized macrophages. A genome-wide comparison by bulk RNA-Seq confirmed a high similarity of ex vivo TAMs and in vitro TAM-like macrophages. Modulation of intracellular cholesterol levels by either starving, cholesterol depletion, or efflux transporter inhibition indicated that cholesterol distinctly shapes macrophage gene expression. Interpretation: Our data show an opposite dysregulation of cholesterol homeostasis in tumour tissue vs. TAMs. Polarization of in vitro differentiated macrophages by tumour cell-conditioned medium recapitulates key features of ex vivo TAMs. Funding: Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Landesforschungsf €orderungsprogramm Saarland (LFPP).

Aloe vera and rosella flower has high antioxidants and has the potential as a functional drink. The purpose of this study was to analyze the antioxidant activity of aloe vera drink with the addition of various concentrations of rosella extract and stored for 21 days. The results showed that aloe vera drink with the addition of rosella flower calyx extract had a significant effect on antioxidant levels. The addition of rosella flower calyx extract at a concentration of 3% has the highest antioxidant, which is 58.12% after being stored for 21 days. Increasing the concentration of rosella flower calyx extract also significantly affected pH and total acid values. Aloe vera drink with the addition of 3% rosella extract after storage of 21 days had a total acid value of 6.6% and a pH value of 3.86. Different results are shown in the analysis of sensory tests, where the addition of rosella flower calyx extract to aloe vera drinks did not significantly affect the reception of panelists.

Within the previous years, Social media has been growing as crucial source of competitive advantage for most business organizations, especially small and medium-sized businesses (SME). Recently, researchers have been widely focusing on social media adoption in developed and developing countries. This study studies and analyses the factors that influence the adoption of social media in Turkish textile manufacturing SMEs. Inspired by the technology acceptance model as well as other relevant researches in the same area, five factors that influence the adoption of social media in Turkey were classified as follows: Manager’s innovativeness, perceived benefits, perceived ease of use, pressure from customers and competition. In order to validate the conceptual model, a number of 208 questionnaires (which were sent by emails) were collected from managers/owners of SMEs operating in textile manufacturing sector in Turkey. The obtained data was analyzed in SPSS and AMOS using the multiple regression method. The analyzed data findings showed that there was a significant positive relationship between the previously mentioned factors and the adoption of social media. Of all the five significant factors, Pressure from Customers has proven to have the greatest influence followed by Competition, Perceived Benefits, Manager’s Innovativeness and Perceived Ease of Use. The findings of this research can help managers and businesses improve their customers’ loyalty and satisfaction and gain competitive advantage by understanding the needs and expectations of their customers.

The purposes of this research were to analyze and describe the direct effect of attention, readiness, cognitive ability toward learning outcomes although indirect effect through activeness. Population of this research is student on eleventh grade of Social Class in Senior High School Daar El-Qolam 1 and Senior High School Daar El-Qolam 2 Tangerang in academic year 2016/2017. Amount of sample are 117 taken by Slovin formula. Sample was taken every class used proportional random sampling methode. The methode used to collect data is questionnaire and documentation. Method of data analysis used descriptive analysis, path analysis, and sobel test. Results of this research are (1) there is a positive effect of attention, readiness, cognitive ability, and activeness toward learning outcomesamounts37,7%, 5,8%, 28,9%, 9,2%, (2) there is a positive effect of attention, readiness, and cognitive ability toward activeness amounts24%, 23,4%, 35,3%,(3) there is a positive effect of attention toward learning outcomes through activeness amount 2,2%, but there is no effect of readiness and cognitive ability toward learning outcomes through activeness.The concluded that attention, readiness, and cognitive ability affect toward learning outcomes directly, but indirectly only attention who have a positive effect.

Nowadays, human communication is considered to be one of the most important topics occupying the minds of linguists, anthropologists, psychologists, and philosophers. Since it is the most important means for communication among human beings, the relation between language, history, culture, worldview and their mutual interactions have high significance. The inextricable connection highlights different indications of conventionalized language including the idiomatic expressions as one of the important and pervasive language uses reflecting culture in real life. Like different sorts of figurative language, idioms give off an impression of being the common decoders of traditions, social convictions, social traditions, and standards. Idioms, as a major component of native-like correspondence, empower a language learner to comprehend the thoughts, feelings and perspectives of the speakers of target language. Therefore, learning idioms provides learners a good opportunity to get data about the basic parameters of a language.

Coffee (Coffea sp), has an important role as a significant influence in live and livelihood of majority community as well as foreign exchange earner for state. It is known that coffee is one of flagship products in Indonesian commodities, noted that Indonesia is one of the world's largest coffee exporting nation. Instant coffee which is available at this time has been accepted by community which is caused by two factors.First, manufacturers build consumer perceptions that the products are kind of instant coffee beverage that offers practicality in its presentation, and not leaving a coarse powder or residue when drunk. Second, intelligence producers through advertising, where instant coffee is identical with urban culture, modern society, and people who are always busy with various kinds of work which spends time. The research goal was to identify the factors influencing consumer decision in buying instant coffee, especially coffee consumers on internet social networking users, by using Quota NonProbabilistic Sampling. The data analysis in this study used multiple regression analysis. The population was the entire of social networking users both personal and group. The results showed that the factors influencing consumer decisions in buying instant coffee were: sex (1.555), duration of activity or working hours (0.933), education (0.198), and information (0.928). Sex factor (1.555) was dominant to influence consumer decisions in buying instant coffee. This occurred because there was psychological aspect that could pose great effects. It is recommended for entrepreneurs in marketing products through television media to be more enhanced because most consumers find out information about coffee through the media. And for further researchers, it is expected to examine other factors that may affect consumers in making decision in buying instant coffee.
