Characterizing the wind speed distribution properly is essential for the satisfactory production of potential energy in wind farms, being the mixture models usually employed in the description of such data. However, some mixture models commonly have the undesirable property of non-identifiability. In this work, we present an alternative distribution which is able to fit the wind speed data decently. The new model, called Normal-Weibull-Weibull, is identifiable and its cumulative distribution function is written as a composition of two baseline functions. We discuss structural properties of the class that generates the proposed model, such as the linear representation of the probability density function, moments and moment generating function. We perform a Monte Carlo simulation study to investigate the behavior of the maximum likelihood estimates of the parameters. Finally, we present applications of the new distribution for modelling wind speed data measured in five different cities of the Northeastern Region of Brazil.

Foram ajustadas as distribuições Gama, Weibull, Log-Normal, Beta, Exponencial, Log-Logística e Log-Logística Exponenciada. Os maiores p-valores foram obtidos para as distribuições Log-Logística e Log-Logística Exponenciada, possivelmente devido à leve assimetria positiva destas aos dados de evapotranspiração. Pelo teste da razão de verossimilhanças, a distribuição Log-Logística Exponenciada adequou-se mais aos meses de janeiro, agosto e dezembro em Juazeiro e Petrolina, somando-se a esta última o mês de novembro. As distribuições Log-Logística e Log-Logística Exponenciada foram as mais adequadas para modelar a evapotranspiração. A partir dessas distribuições, foram estimados valores de evapotranspiração para diferentes níveis de probabilidade, sendo janeiro o mês com maior demanda hídrica provável. ADJUSTMENT OF PROBABILISTIC MODELS TO THE REFERENCE EVAPOTRANSPIRATION IN THE SUB-MEDIUM OF SÃO FRANCISCO RIVER VALLEY 2 ABSTRACT Evapotranspiration is the process of water loss from soil and plant surfaces, and it is essential for plant production, constituting one of the main agrometeorological variables. Nevertheless, there are few studies that relate the adequacy of probability distributions to evapotranspiration data. The objective of this work was to test the adherence of different probability distributions to reference evapotranspiration data by selecting the most suitable ones for this purpose. This study was carried out with daily evapotranspiration reference data obtained by the meteorological stations of the Federal University of Vale of São Francisco (UNIVASF) in Petrolina, PE and Juazeiro, BA. The Gamma, Weibull, Log-Normal, Beta, Exponential, Log-Logistics and Exponentiated Log-Logistics distribution were adjusted. The highest p-values ​​were obtained for the Log-Logistics and Exponentiated Log-Logistics distributions. The highest p-values were obtained for the Log-Logistics and Exponentiated Log-Logistics distributions, possibly due to the slight positive asymmetry of those to the evapotranspiration data. By testing the likelihood ratio, the Exponentiated Log-Logistics distribution was more suitable for the months of January, August and December in Juazeiro and Petrolina, adding to the latter the month of November. The Log-Logistics and Exponentiated Log-Logistics distributions were the most suitable to model evapotranspiration. From these distributions, evapotranspiration values ​​were estimated for different levels of probability, with January being the month with the highest probable water demand. This paper introduces a novel class of probability distributions called normal-tangent-G, whose submodels are parsi- monious and bring no additional parameters besides the baseline’s. We demonstrate that these submodels are iden- tifiable as long as the baseline is. We present some properties of the class, including the series representation of its probability density function (pdf) and two special cases. Monte Carlo simulations are carried out to study the behav- ior of the maximum likelihood estimates (MLEs) of the parameters for a particular submodel. We also perform an application of it to a real dataset to exemplify the modelling benefits of the class.

The Brazilian semi-arid region is recurrently affected by the scarcity of water that marks the landscape as it prints periods of severe drought. Therefore, rainfall in this region greatly influences plant growth in regional hydrological processes that affect droughts or floods. It is of practical interest to assess how changes in rainfall patterns occur to anticipate hydrological dynamics. However, this is not easy as climate change reshapes global hydrology. Thus, assertive forecasting has become rare and imputed estimates of a reasonable degree of uncertainty. The objective of this work was to verify from the mixture of exponential, gamma, beta, log-normal, Weibull, normal, log-logistic, and exponentiated log-logistic distributions, which best fits the monthly rainfall of the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The data used came from 133 monthly rainfall series (1950 to 2012) distributed over the state of Pernambuco. The Maximum Likelihood Method estimated all parameters. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov adherence test was applied at 5% probability to assess the adjustments. The least rejected distributions in the adherence test were Weibull, gamma, and beta; October presented the smallest number of distributions considered adequate to model monthly rainfall. More than 99% of the rain gauge stations had some adequate probabilistic distribution to model monthly rainfall in March. For most months, except for March, the Weibull distribution was the most suitable for modeling the monthly rainfall in the vast majority of rain gauge stations of Pernambuco.

Based on the normal distribution, a new generator of continuous distributions is presented using the monotonic functions and , such that and are the baselines. A study of identifiability of the proposed class is exhibited as well as the series expansions for its cumulative distribution function and probability density function. Additionally, some mathematical properties of the class are discussed, namely, the raw moments, the central moments, the moment generating function, the characteristic function, the derivatives of the log-likelihood function, and a study of the support. A numerical analysis comprising a simulation study and an application to real data is presented. Comparisons between the proposed model and other well-known models evince its potentialities and modeling benefits.

The current demand for clean and renewable energy has provoked considerable changes in the production system of agroindustrial companies. The generation of bioelectricity through the burning of sugarcane bagasse has considerably risen in the recent years. This work aimed to focus on the sugarcane genotypes selection for fiber productivity. The experiment was outlined in randomized blocks with four repetitions, and sixteen genotypes were evaluated. The evaluated traits were: cane tons per hectare, sucrose tons per hectare, fiber tons per hectare, fiber content and apparent sucrose content. To the selection, the mixed linear models methodology was used. The heritability coefficients suggest a significant genetic gain and the harmonic means of relative performances of predicted genotypic values allowed the identification of stable genotypes related to the traits evaluated in four harvest cycles. Considering the current average demand of sugarcane agroindustry for varieties with fiber content between 12% and 17% and sucrose content near 13%, for energy generation and sugar production, the genotypes EECAC 06, EECAC 03, EECAC 04 and EECAC 07 are presented as commercial cultivation options. Highlights - Mixed models constitute an efficient tool for sugarcane selection focused onto fiber and sucrose production. - This methodology provides significant genetic gains based on predicted genetic values free from interaction with harvest cycles. - The evaluated genotypes present high fiber and sucrose productivity, genotypic adaptability and stability throughout harvest cycles, indicating longevity in the sugarcane crop.

O polo agroexportador da região do Submédio do Vale do São Francisco se destaca no agronegócio nacional pelo cultivo de manga e uva, entretanto vem aumentando a vulnerabilidade aos eventos climáticos extremos associados a elevações térmicas nos cultivos de manga Palmer. Essa cultivar vem produzindo frutos estenospermocárpicos com grande frequência quando o florescimento e desenvolvimento inicial dos frutos coincidem com épocas de temperaturas mais elevadas. Dessa forma, estudo capaz de traçar perfil da ocorrência de altas temperaturas na região pode ser importante para determinar de forma precisa, riscos de produção associado extremos térmicos o longo do ano. Este estudo teve como objetivo caracterizar a temperatura máxima do ar em escala mensal por meio de elementos estatísticos descritivos, bem como identificar período com maior potencial a indução de estonepermocarpia em mangueira cv. Palmer na região do Submédio do Vale do São Francisco. Para análise gráfica da série de dados construiu-se em cada mês um histograma de frequência das temperaturas máximas observadas, o qual foi sobreposto pela função densidade de probabilidade Normal. Utilizaram-se os seguintes elementos estatísticos descritivos: média, moda e mediana, variância e desvio padrão. Utilizou-se ainda medidas de assimetria e curtose. O uso da média isoladamente na caracterização térmica da região do Submédio do Vale do São Francisco pode trazer inconsistência e fragilidade nas informações extraídas a partir dela, devido ao considerável grau de incerteza e inadequação, caso o estabelecimento de ocorrência de extremos térmicos não faça uso de ferramentas estatísticas que detecte variabilidade térmica. Dessa forma a utilização dos elementos estatísticos descritivos empregados neste estudo mostrou-se viável para caracterização de extremos térmicos na região do Submédio do Vale do São Francisco. Novembro tende a ser caracterizado como o mês de maior risco à florada da manga cv. Palmer, com verificação de temperaturas máximas extremas apresentando a maior média mensal, 34,1°C e frequente ocorrência de temperaturas de 37,5°C, portanto o período mais sujeito à estenospermocarpia. Sorghum is a plant of tropical origin, of short days and with high photosynthetic rates, requiring a warm climate in order to express its production potential. The objective is to evaluate the agroclimatic aptitude of the cultivation of sorghum that allows to visualize or identify its productive potential in the state of Pernambuco. The pluviometric data were acquired from the Northeast Development Superintendence and the Pernambuco water and climate agency, the temperature data were from the National Institute of Meteorology and estimated by the estima_T software between the period 1960-2019. In the region of the high sertão and sertão there is moderate fitness due to excess water. In the agreste region full fitness was obtained with prolonged rainy season. In the Zona da Mata and Litoral regions, fitness is unrestricted. The study was carried out using information from the rainy season and without the aid of irrigation, that is, taking into account the rainfed planting. El sorgo es una planta de origen tropical, de días cortos y con altas tasas fotosintéticas, requiriendo de un clima cálido para poder expresar su potencial productivo. El objetivo es evaluar la aptitud agroclimática del cultivo de sorgo que permita visualizar o identificar su potencial productivo en el estado de Pernambuco. Los datos pluviométricos fueron adquiridos de la Superintendencia de Desarrollo del Nordeste y la agencia de agua y clima de Pernambuco, los datos de temperatura fueron del Instituto Nacional de Meteorología y estimados por el software estima_T entre el período 1960-2019. En la región del sertão alto y sertão hay moderada aptitud física debido al exceso de agua. En la región agreste se obtuvo un estado de plena forma con una temporada de lluvias prolongada. En las regiones de Zona da Mata y Litoral, la aptitud física no está restringida. El estudio se realizó con información de la época de lluvias y sin la ayuda del riego, es decir, teniendo en cuenta la siembra de secano. O sorgo é uma planta de origem tropical, de dias curtos e com altas taxas fotossintéticas, exigindo, um clima quente para poder expressar seu potencial de produção. Tem-se como objetivo avaliar a aptidão agroclimática do cultivo do sorgo que permita visualizar ou identificar o seu potencial produtivo no estado do Pernambuco. Os dados pluviométricos foram adquiridos da Superintendência do Desenvolvimento do Nordeste e da agência pernambucana de água e clima, os dados de temperatura foram do Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia e estimado pelo software estima_T compreendido entre o período de 1960-2019. Na região do alto sertão e sertão tem-se aptidão moderada por excesso hídrico. Na região do agreste obteve-se aptidão plena com período chuvoso prolongado. Nas regiões da Zona da Mata e Litoral, a aptidão é plena sem restrições. O estudo foi realizado utilizando-se das informações do período chuvoso e sem auxílio da irrigação, ou seja, levando-se em considerações o plantio de sequeiro.

Com o objetivo avaliar se o período (seco- chuvoso) interfere no valor nutricional e selecionar o melhor modelo que descrever os valores dos gases acumulados em dez genótipos de amendoim forrageiro (Arachis pintoi): 13251, 15121, 15598, 30333, 31135, 31496, 31534, 31828, cv. Itabela e cv. RIO em duas épocas (período seco e período chuvoso). O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso, com dez tratamentos (genótipos) e três repetições. Avaliou-se: a produção de matéria seca kg ha-1; os teores de proteína bruta, fibra em detergente neutro, fibra em detergente ácido, proteína insolúvel em detergente ácido e produção acumuladas de gases ajustadas aos modelos: Gompertz, Logístico, Brody, Von Bertalanffy e o Logístico Bicompartimental. A qualidade de ajuste dos modelos foi medida por meio do quadrado médio do resíduo , critério de informação de Akaike , critério de informação Bayesiano e coeficiente de determinação ajustado . A análise multivariada utilizada foi a análise de agrupamentos com coeficiente de correlação cofenética e o índice de Rand para verificar a qualidade do ajuste e a quantidade de grupos. No período de maior precipitação pluviométrica os genótipos 15121, 15598, 30333 e 31496 foram considerados os de melhor produtividade e de valor nutricional. Já no período de menor precipitação, os genótipos 31828 e Itabela se destacaram como os melhores genótipos. O melhor modelo ajustado para ambos os genótipos foi o modelo Logístico Bicomportamental, por apresentar menor AIC e BIC.

Objetivou-se ajustar diferentes modelos não lineares na análise a dados de óbitos por COVID-19 nos estado de Pernambuco e Ceará e fazer extrapolações do número de óbitos por meio de previsões. Neste relatório, analisou-se os dados oficiais epidêmicos disponibilizados pelo Ministério da saúde do Brasil (MS), referindo-se ao período 25/03/2020 a 11/05/2020 para o estado de pernambuco - PE e no estado do Ceará no período de 26/03/2020 a 11/05/2020 do número de óbitos confirmados por COVID-19. Para a comparação entre os modelos empregaram-se o coeficiente de determinação ajustado (), quadrado médio dos resíduos (QMR) e critério de informação de Akaike (AIC). Todos os modelos tiveram bons ajustes, com valores de aproximadamente 99%. A verificação dos pressupostos dos resíduos foi realizada por meio de análises gráficas, e os pressupostos foram atendidos. Calculou-se o número acumulado de mortes no período de 12/05/2020 a 10/10/2020 para o estado de Pernambuco e 12/05/2020 a 11/10/2020 para o estado do Ceará, além da extrapolação da taxa de crescimento absoluto (TCA) para os respectivos intervalos. As análises indicaram que os pontos de inflexões de todos os modelos ocorreram dentro do período de 200 dias após o início da pandemia. Entretanto, não é possível ainda fazer projeções seguras de quando os números de casos confirmados de óbitos minimizarão. Independentemente da possível incerteza da previsão dos modelos, as observações indicam que os próximos dias podem ser críticos para determinar o crescimento futuro dos casos de óbitos.

We propose a new family of distributions called the exponentiated Kumaraswamy-G class with three extra positive parameters, which generalizes the Cordeiro and de Castro's family. Some special distributions in the new class are discussed. We derive some mathematical properties of the proposed class including explicit expressions for the quantile function, ordinary and incomplete moments, generating function, mean deviations, reliability, Rényi entropy and Shannon entropy. The method of maximum likelihood is used to fit the distributions in the proposed class. Simulations are performed in order to assess the asymptotic behavior of the maximum likelihood estimates. We illustrate its potentiality with applications to two real data sets which show that the extended Weibull model in the new class provides a better fit than other generalized Weibull distributions.

A fertirrigação tem sido fundamental para impulsionar o suprimento alimentar mundial, pois mais de 40% da produção agrícola total é obtida em áreas irrigadas com uso dessa técnica. Apesar disso, quando mal manejada, pode elevar consideravelmente a concentração de sais no solo, além de aumentar a probabilidade de perdas de nutrientes por lixiviação, sobretudo, em solos arenosos. A técnica como realizada hoje em dia, ainda que siga critérios técnicos pode imprimir restrições à absorção de água e nutrientes em face da elevação momentânea e abrupta do potencial osmótico no volume de solo explorado. Isso porque a concentração da solução fertilizante injetada no sistema de irrigação é habitualmente constante durante toda operação. Objetivou-se, assim, desenvolver um modelo matemático para manejo de fertirrigação de precisão em que a concentração da solução fertilizante injetada no sistema de irrigação possa ser variável com tempo, além de verificar o alcance vertical produzido pela técnica assim realizada. O modelo matemático desenvolvido é apropriado para descrever a variação na concentração de solução fertilizante injetada em sistema de irrigação de modo não uniforme. A fertirrigação quantitativa, realizada segundo o modelo matemático obtido, proporciona, em Neossolo Quartzarênico, redução de 25% no alcance vertical e maior eficiência de aplicação da solução fertilizante comparada a fertirrigação proporcional.

In this paper, we propose a novel class of probability distributions called Normal-G. It has the advantage of demanding no additional parameters besides those of the parent distribution, thereby providing parsimonious models. Furthermore, the class enjoys the property of identifiability whenever the baseline is identifiable. We present special Normal-G sub-models, which can fit asymmetrical data with either positive or negative skew. Other important mathematical properties are described, such as the series expansion of the probability density function (pdf), which is used to derive expressions for the moments and the moment generating function (mgf). We bring Monte Carlo simulation studies to investigate the behavior of the maximum likelihood estimates (MLEs) of two distributions generated by the class and we also present applications to real datasets to illustrate its usefulness.

In this paper, we study the two-parameter exponentiated generalized standardized Gumbel distribution, which consists of a simple generalization of the Gumbel distribution. We investigate the power of fit of the proposed distribution to real data and study via Monte Carlo simulation the behavior of the MLEs for the model parameters. We provide a comprehensive mathematical treatment and prove that the formulas related to the new model are simple and manageable.

We propose a new generator of continuous distributions with one extra positive parameter called the odd Lindley-G family. Some special cases are presented. The new density function can be expressed as a linear combination of exponentiated densities based on the same baseline distribution. Various structural properties of the new family, which hold for any baseline model, are derived including explicit expressions for the quantile function, ordinary and incomplete moments, generating function, Renyi entropy, reliability, order statistics and their moments and k upper record values. We discuss estimation of the model parameters by maximum likelihood and provide an application to a real data set.

We define a new class of distributions with one extra shapeparameter including some special cases. We provide numerical and computational aspects of the new class. We proposefunctions using the \textsf{R} language to fit any distribution in this family to a data set. In addition, such functions are implemented efficientlyusing the library \textsf{Rcpp} that enables the incorporation of the codes \textsf{C++} in \textsf{R} automatically. Some examples are presentedfor using the implemented routines in practice. We derive some mathematical properties of this class including explicit expressionsfor the moments, generating function and mean deviations. We discuss the estimation of the model parametersby maximum likelihood and provide an application to a real data set.

Mathematical models that describe gas production are widely used to estimate the rumen degradation digestibility and kinetics. The present study presents a method to generate models by combining existing models and to propose the von Bertalanffy-Gompertz two-compartment model based on this method. The proposed model was compared with the logistic two-compartment one to indicate which best describes the kinetic curve of gas production through the semi-automatedin vitrotechnique from different pinto peanut cultivars. The data came from an experiment grown and harvested at the Far South Animal Sciences station (Essul) in Itabela, BA, Brazil and gas production was read at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 20, 24, 28, 32, 48, 72, and 96 h after the start of thein vitrofermentation process. The parameters were estimated by the least squares method using the iterative Gauss-Newton process in the software R version 3.4.1. The best model to describe gas accumulation was based on the adjusted coefficient of determination, residual mean squares, mean absolute deviation, Akaike information criterion, and Bayesian information criterion. The von Bertalanffy-Gompertz two-compartment model had the best fit to describe the cumulative gas production over time according to the methodology and conditions of the present study.

Objetivou-se a seleção genotípica da mandioca (Manihot esculenta crantz) para formação de grupos divergentes de genótipos. Inicialmente foram utilizadas 23 variáveis quantitativas de 28 genótipos; após a análise de componentes principais esse número foi reduzido a 7 variáveis (diâmetro do caule, número manivas-sementes por planta, comprimento da raiz, diâmetro da raiz, potencial hídrico foliar antemanhã, potencial hídrico foliar ao meio-dia, produtividade da parte aérea). A análise de agrupamento por meio da distância de Chebyshev e do método de ligação Mcquitty foi utilizada para gerar um dendrograma cuja validação se deu a partir de um coeficiente cofenético de 0,8. Foram formados dois grupos compostos de 24 e 4 genótipos de mandioca. Esses foram indicados no dendrograma por meio dos índices de Ratkowsky, McClain e KL. O segundo grupo que é formado pelos genótipos tussuma, Caititi, Poti Branca e mulatinha apresentou maior frequência das variáveis que descrevem a parte superior da mandioca. Essas informações são importantes para a criação de banco de informações de espécies rústicas e o melhoramento das mesmas.

This study aims to propose a method to generate growth and degrowth models using differential equations as well as to present a model based on the method proposed, compare it with the classic linear mathematical models Logistic, Von Bertalanffy, Brody, Gompertz, and Richards, and identify the one that best represents the mean growth curve. To that end, data on Undefined Breed (UB) goats and Santa Inês sheep from the works of Cavalcante et al. (2013) and Sarmento et al. (2006a), respectively, were used. Goodness-of-fit was measured using residual mean squares (RMS), Akaike information criterion (AIC), Bayesian information criterion (BIC), mean absolute deviation (MAD), and adjusted coefficient of determination . The models’ parameters (?, weight at adulthood; ?, an integration constant; ?, shape parameter with no biological interpretation; k, maturation rate; and m, inflection point) were estimated by the least squares method using Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm on the software IBM SPSS Statistics 1.0. It was observed that the proposed model was superior to the others to study the growth curves of goats and sheep according to the methodology and conditions under which the present study was carried out. O objetivo deste trabalho é propor um método gerador de modelos de crescimento e decrescimento por meio de equações diferenciais, bem como apresentar um modelo a partir do método proposto, compará-lo entre os modelos matemáticos não lineares clássicos seguintes, Logístico, Von Bertalanffy, Brody, Gompertz, e Richards e identificar aquele que representa melhor a curva média de crescimento. Para isso, foram utilizados dados de caprino (SRD - Sem Raça Definida) e de ovinos da raça Santa Inês oriundos, respectivamente, dos trabalhos de Cavalcante et al. (2013) e Sarmento et al. (2006a). A qualidade de ajuste foi medida por meio do quadrado médio do resíduo (QMR), critério de informação de Akaike (AIC), critério de informação Bayesiano (BIC), desvio médio absoluto (DMA) e coeficiente de determinação ajustado . Os parâmetros dos modelos (?, peso à idade adulta; ?, uma constante de integração; ?, parâmetro de forma sem interpretação biológica; k, taxa de maturação; e m, ponto de inflexão) foram estimados pelo método de mínimos quadrados utilizando o algoritmo de Levenberg-Marquardt por meio do Software IBM SPSS Statistics 1.0. Observou-se que o modelo Proposto foi superior aos outros modelos para o estudo das curvas de crescimento de caprinos e ovinos de acordo com a metodologia e condições em que foi desenvolvido o presente estudo.

In this work, we present a method to generate probability distributions and classes of probability distributions, which broadens a process of probability distribution construction. In this method, distribution classes are built from pre-defined monotonic functions and from known distributions. With the use of this method, we can obtain different classes of probability distributions described in literature. Beside these results, we could obtain results on the support and nature of the generated distributions., 50 pages, submitted for journal publication

This study aimed to carry out the morphogenic, structural, and bromatological characterization of Brachiaria humidicola cv. BRS Tupi. A completely randomized design was adopted. The treatments consisted of harvesting the forage at 14, 28, 42, and 56 days. Leaf appearance rate, leaf elongation rate, and phyllochron were similar among the treatments (P > 0.05). However, leaf life span varied among treatments (P < 0.05). Dry matter exhibited linear behavior (P < 0.05) whereas mineral matter, crude protein, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber, and lignin had quadratic behavior. Brachiaria humidicola cv. BRS Tupi exhibits the best forage potential for animal feed between 28 and 42 days of growth.

A five-parameter distribution, called the exponentiated Burr XII Poisson distribution, is defined and studied. The model has as special sub-models some important lifetime distributions discussed in the literature, such as the logistic, log-logistic, Weibull, Burr XII and exponentiated Burr XII distributions, among several others. We derive the ordinary and incomplete moments, generating and quantile functions, Bonferroni and Lorenz curves, mean deviations, reliability and two types of entropy. The order statistics and their moments are investigated. The method of maximum likelihood is proposed for estimating the model parameters. We obtain the observed information matrix. An application to a real data set demonstrates that the new distribution can provide a better fit than other classical lifetime models. We hope that this generalization may attract wider applications in reliability, biology and survival analysis.

We propose a new five-parameter extended gamma generalized model. Some special cases are discussed. We derive some mathematical prop- erties of the proposed distribution including explicit expressions for the quantile function, ordinary and incomplete moments, generating function, mean devi- ations, reliability, order statistics and their moments and Renyi entropy. A família de distribuições univariadas gama-generalizada proposta por Zografos e Balakrishnan [3] foi discutida por Nadarajah et al. [7] que deram um amplo tratamento matemático a esta classe. Neste artigo, estudamos o modelo Gama Weibull Poisson, que tem como casos especiais, várias distribuições discutidas na literatura. Deduzimos uma expressão explícita para a entropia de Rényi, e mostramos que a densidade da distribuição Gama Weibull Poisson é uma mistura de densidades da distribuição Weibull Poisson. Estudamos algumas propriedades matemáticas importantes como momentos, função geratriz de momentos e função quantílica. In this paper, we study the gamma Weibull Poisson distribution that has many special cases of distributions discussed in the literature. We study some important mathematical properties such as moments, moment generating and quantile functions. We obtain an explicit expression for Rényi entropy. Further, we write the probability density function of the GWP distribution as a linear combination of WP density functions.
