Introduction GOLD 2017 report proposed that the combined COPD assessment should be done according only to symptom burden and exacerbation history in the previous year. Objective This study aims to investigate the change in the COPD groups after the GOLD 2017 revision and also to discuss the evaluation of group C and D as a single group after the GOLD 2019 report. Method The study was designed as a cross-sectional. 251 stable COPD patients admitted to our out-patient clinic; aged ≥40 years, at least one-year diagnosis of COPD and ≥10 pack-year smoking history were consecutively recruited for the study. Results In GOLD 2017, a significant difference was found between the distribution of all groups compared to GOLD 2011 (P = 0,001). 31 patients included in group C were reclassified into group A and 37 patients in group D were reclassified into group B. The FEV1 values of group A and B patients were significantly low and group C and D patients had had exacerbations in more frequently the previous year in GOLD 2017 compared to GOLD 2011. Conclusion After the GOLD 2017 revision, the rate of group C patients decreased even more compared to GOLD 2011 and the group C and D may be considered as a single group in terms of the treatment recommendations with the GOLD 2019 revision. We think that future prospective studies are needed to support this suggestion.

Statement of problem The digitalization of completely edentulous arches presents limitations because of the lack of anatomic structures for best-fit alignment during the image generation process of the scanner’s software program. Purpose The purpose of this clinical study was to evaluate a new device for intraoral scanning and to analyze its usefulness in capturing the 3-dimensional (3D) position of implants in edentulous mandibular arches. Material and methods The 3D positions of 40 implants in 10 participants with fixed interim mandibular prostheses were evaluated by comparing 3 scanning techniques. Images were generated in 2 experimental groups, with digital scan bodies (group SC) and with the scanning device (group SD) and in a control group (group CT) in which images were obtained by laboratory scanning of casts produced from splinted impression copings. The standard tessellation language (STL) files were superimposed by using a reverse engineering software program to measure the 3D coordinate system. Variations in implant linear displacements (Δx, Δy, and Δz), total 3D displacement ( Δ x 2 + Δ y 2 + Δ z 2 ), and angle projections (ΔθXY, ΔθXZ, and ΔθYZ) were statistically analyzed (α=.05). The distances between the implants were also measured. The Spearman correlation coefficient (α=.05) was used to find the correlation between the 3D coordinates and the distances between the implants. Results Group SD had lower values for linear displacement than group SC; however, this difference was not statistically significant except for implant #2. The overall evaluation showed a significant difference with better accuracy for group SD. Concerning angular displacements, group SD showed lesser angular variation for the 3 projection planes. For the distances between the implants, significant differences were only observed for the “all” assessment in which group SD behaved similarly to group CT, while group SC showed the highest values (P Conclusions The evaluated scanning device led to improved trueness for linear, angular displacements, and distances between implants in mandibular edentulous arches.

Vitamin C ascorbic acid is a well-known antioxidant that is involved in anxiety, stress, depression, fatigue and mood state in humans. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of vitamin C on decreasing the level of public speaking stress in term of heart rate, blood pressure and stress assessment. A purposive sample of (45) were included in this randomized placebo-placebo trial study, that was conducted at Faculty of nursing / university of Kufa. Public speaking stress was determined by a questionnaire scale developed from (public speaking anxiety scale). Study group included volunteer students who took a dose of 500 mg a day of vitamin C for one week before a group presentation, while the placebo group is given a placebo before one week of before a group presentation. The result indicated that the blood pressure (systolic and diastolic) before presentation between the two groups ( student group and placebo) was not significantly different. In relation to heart rate, a significant decrease (p< 0.05) was recorded in student group as compared to placebo. The student group has recorded significant difference in many items of stress assessment when comparing to placebo (e.g. increase of heart rate, dry mouth, GIT cramps and anxiety due to fear from failure). The assessment of presentation stress between the two groups (student group and placebo) was determined by means of scores. The results revealed that there is a significant difference (P< 0.05) in presentation stress between student group and placebo group. It was concluded that student group which took 500 mg vitamin C for one week express less presentation stress. The most stress signs that has been improved by vitamin C intake are: increase of heart rate, dry mouth, GIT cramps and anxiety due to fear from failure.

Suicide is a considerable public health concern, particularly among U.S. veterans. Despite inpatient psychiatric hospitalization being a primary recommended treatment for acute suicidality, available inpatient group treatments remain limited. Aim: The objective of the work is to synthesize, characterize and biochemically analyze Azo-metal complex of Embelin with Second Group Transition Metals. Background: The genus Embelia is a well-known herb and has considerable importance in the field of pharmaceutical chemistry. The plant species has been used considerably as a traditional medicine in Ayurveda, old Chinese medicine, and Siddha for a long time. The dried berries of this plant, called “vidanga” have boundless biochemical properties, like anthelmintic, carminative, antibacterial, antibiotic, and hypoglycemic. Objective: Embelin, metal-embelin (EM) and azo-metal-embelin (EAM) complexes were synthesized, analysed for antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Method: The metal-embelin (EM) complexes and metal-azo-embelin (EAM) complexes were synthesized by pure mixing of embelin, azo-embelin and metals viz, Tc, Ru, Rh, Pd, Ag and Cd. The embelin and EAN complexes were analysed by various spectroscopic techniques, viz, UV-visible, FTIR, NMR, TGA, MS and CHNS analysis. Results: The results authenticate the reaction between metals, and bidentate embelin occurs via quinonic and enolic oxygen atoms as [M (Emb) 2 (H2O)] 2H2O and [M (Emb-Azo)2 (H2O)2]. The antioxidant results show that the complexation between metals and compounds decreases the antioxidant potential significantly. In contrast, the antimicrobial activity shows that cobalt and nickel embelin complexes showed more than 74% growth inhibition against the concerned microbes in comparison to embelin alone. Conclusion: As the results are taken into consideration, the scavenging property of embelin shows the reduction in power upon complexation with metals and azo-metals. Also, embelin and its associates as metal-embelin and metal-azo-embelin can be used as antioxidant and antimicrobial agents significantly.

A series of shaking table model tests were performed to examine the effects of deep cement mixing (DCM) columns with different reinforcement depths on the seismic behavior of a pile group in liquefiable sand. Due to the DCM column reinforcement, the fundamental natural frequency of the model ground increases noticeably. The excess pore pressure of soils reduces with the increase of reinforcement depths of the DCM columns. Before liquefaction, the acceleration response of soils in the improved cases is obviously lower than that in the unimproved case, but the acceleration attenuation is greater after liquefaction in the unimproved case. Moreover, the lateral displacement of the superstructure, the settlement of the raft, and the bending moment of the piles in the improved cases are significantly reduced compared with those in the unimproved case, and the reduction ratios rise with the increase of reinforcement depth of the DCM columns. However, reinforcement by the DCM columns may result in the variation of the location of the maximum moment that occurs in the pile.

This study aimed to determine the changes in the performance, welfare, and productivity level of broiler chickens reared at various group sizes (GS3000, GS4000, GS6000, and GS20 000) under intensive field conditions. The study was carried out according to a randomized block design with four different group sizes (GS) in three trials. Weekly body weights (BWs) were determined randomly in 150 individuals from each GS group. Feed intake (FI), feed conversion ratio (FCR), and European production efficiency factor (EPEF) were determined for each GS treatment. Body defects (footpad dermatitis, FPD, hock burn, HB, and the breast burn, BB) were measured randomly in 150 chickens (75 male and 75 female) from each group using a visual scoring system with a 0–3 scale. At 1 and 2 weeks of age, GS3000 broilers had similar BW to GS6000 and higher than GS4000 and GS20 000. However, this situation changed at 6 weeks of age and the male chickens in GS6000 became heavier than in GS3000, GS4000 and GS20 000 (P = 0.007). No differences in mean values of temperature, humidity, air velocity and litter moisture levels were observed among GS treatments. GS3000 and GS4000 chickens had significantly lower levels of FPD, HB, and BB than chickens reared in GS6000 and GS20 000 (P < 0.001). The EPEF values from highest to lowest were 425.8, 404.5, 358.8, and 354.0 in the GS6000 GS3000, GS4000, and GS20 000 groups, respectively. In conclusion, our study results showed that rearing in groups of 6000 broilers had both better performance and higher overall productivity than other groups but tended to show more severe body defects.

This paper presents the results of a field load test program used to investigate group effects on the pullout capacity of single-helix “deep” helical piles/anchors in sand. The high tensile capacity and silent installation of helical piles has given them serious consideration as an alternative to conventional deep foundations and anchors for offshore renewable energy structures. New offshore applications may consider the use of groups of helical piles to resist structural loads. Group interaction effects are known to occur in helical piles, but there is a scarcity of field data on groups in sands under tensile loading. This study involved the installation and load testing of single-helix 152 mm diameter round shaft piles and pile groups embedded in sand to depths of 12 and 18 helix diameters below the ground surface. The study was designed to explore the effects of close pile spacing, group configuration (i.e., number of piles), and soil strength (i.e., friction angle) as interpreted from cone penetration test (CPT) resistance. The results showed group efficiencies ranging from about 0.6 to 1.0 at a horizontal spacing of 2 to 3 times the helix diameter in sands with friction angles of about 39° to 44°. The data from this study may also be useful for validation of numerical models for analysis of helical pile group interactions.

Triphenylamine (TPA) derivatives have been widely used as useful building blocks for diverse functional materials because of their excellent redox activity. Most of the molecular structures of TPA-based organic functional materials contain 4-anisyl groups, which on one hand could reduce their oxidation potential and on the other hand significantly delocalize the spin density of the resultant TPA radical cation species and enhance their stability. However, molecular-level investigation of the redox behavior of triphenylamines consisting of 4-anisyl group and the electronic structures of their radical cation species has not been reported in the literature. Herein, we design a series of triphenylamines consisting of one, two, or three 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-anisyl groups and investigate their redox behaviors and corresponding radical cation species. We disclose that the resonance hybrid and steric protection could both contribute to the stability of triphenylamine radical cations. Moreover, further oxidation leads to an unexpected oxidative demethylation. The findings in this work may reveal new insights for the understanding of the unique redox properties of 4-anisyl substituted triphenylamines.

The concept of “OXO-WALL” was conceived about 60 years ago by Harry B. Gray, which is found to be related to the non-existence of high-valent M-Oxo species in +IV oxidation state in a tetragonal geometry beyond group 8 in the periodic table. Several efforts have been made in the past decades to test and find examples that violate this theory. Several claims of violation in the past were attributed to the difference in the geometries/coordination number and, therefore, these are not examples of true violation. In recent years, substantial efforts have been undertaken to synthesise a true CoIV=O species with various ligand architectures. The CoIV=O and CoIII–O• are electromers, while interchangeably used in the literature; the former violates the oxo-wall while the latter does not. The possibility that these two species could exist in various proportions similar to resonating structures has not been considered in detail in this area. Further, there are no attempts to quantify such mixing. In this direction, we have employed the density function theory (DFT) and ab initio CASSCF/NEVPT2 method to quantify the co-existence of CoIV=O and CoIII–O• isomeric species. By thoroughly studying six different metal-oxo species, we affirm that the nature of such electromeric mixing is minimal/negligible for FeIV=O and MnIV=O species – both are pre-oxo-wall examples. By studying four different ligand architecture with Co-oxo species, our results unveil that the mixing of the CoIV=O  CoIII–O• is substantial in all geometries, with dominant CoIV=O species favourable for S = 3/2 intermediate spin state. The per cent of CoIII–O• species enhances substantially for S = 1/2 low-spin state. We have attempted to develop a tool to estimate the per cent of CoIII–O• species using various structural parameters. Among tested, a linear relationship between %〖 Co〗^III-O^• and a bond length based ratio is found (R_d=d_((Co-O))/d_((Co-N_ax)) here d_((Co-O)) and d_((Co-N_ax)) are axial Co–O and Co–Nax bond lengths in A). It is found that the higher the Rd, the greater will be the CoIII–O• character and the portable correlation developed offers a way to qualitatively compute % of CoIII–O• character for unknown geometries.

Pressure-dependent structural and chemical changes of the metal–organic framework (MOF) compound MIL-47(V) have been investigated up to 2.9 GPa using pore-penetrating liquid, water as pressure transmitting medium (PTM). Under compression, MIL-47(V) undergoes reversible replacement of the free terephthallic acid (TPA) by H2O molecules near 0.7 and 1.5 GPa. The observed structural and chemical changes observed in hydroxyl linked vanadium octahedra in as-synthesised MIL-47(V) demonstrate unique high pressure chemistry depending on the type of bridging octahedral group in framework structure. The tunable bridging group in MIL-47(V) allows postsynthetic room temperature by pressure-induced removal and insertion of organic molecules in MOFs through the formation of stable phases at ambient conditions.

Group 14 Zintl anions [Ex]q−(E = Si–Pb,x= 4, 5, 9, 10) are synthetically accessible, and their diverse chemical reactivity makes them valuable synthons in the construction of larger nanoclusters with remarkable structures, intriguing patterns of chemical bonding, and tunable physical and chemical properties. A plethora of novel cluster anions have now been isolated from the reactions of polyanionic [Ex]q−precursors with low-valent d-/f-block metal complexes, main-group organometallics, or organics in polar aprotic solvents. The range of products includes intermetalloid clusters with transition metal atom(s) embedded in main-group element cages, organometallic Zintl anions in which [Ex]q−acts as a ligand, intermetallic Zintl anions where [Ex]q−is bridged by ligand-free transition metal atom(s), organo-Zintl anions where [Ex]q−is functionalized with organic-group(s), and oligomers formed through oxidative coupling reactions. The synthesis and characterization of these unconventional complexes, where important contributions to stability come from ionic, covalent, and metal–metal bonds as well as weaker aurophilic and van der Waals interactions, extend the boundaries of coordination chemistry and solid-state chemistry. Substantial progress has been made in this field over the past two decades, but there are still many mysteries to unravel related to the cluster growth mechanism and the controllable synthesis of targeted clusters, along with the remarkable and diverse patterns of chemical bonding that present a substantial challenge to theory. In this Account, we hope to shed some light on the relationship between structure, electronic properties, and cluster growth by highlighting selected examples from our recent work on homoatomic deltahedral [Ex]q−anions, including (1) germanium-based Zintl clusters, such as the supertetrahedral intermetallic clusters [M6Ge16]4–(M = Zn, Cd) and the sandwich cluster {(Ge9)2[η6-Ge(PdPPh3)3]}4–with a heterometallicGe@Pd3interlayer; (2) tin-based intermetalloid clusters [Mx@Sny]q−and the application of [Co@Sn9]4–in bottom-up synthesis; and (3) lead clusters with precious metal cores, including the largest Zintl anion [Au12Pb44]8–. In addition to their intrinsic appeal from a structural and electronic perspective, these new cluster anions also show promise as precursors for the development of new materials with applications in heterogeneous catalysis, where we have recently reported the selective reduction of CO2.

NMR. data show that protonation of 1-formyl-azulene yields essentially a one-to-one mixture of conjugate acids in which the hydroxyl group assumes the syn-planar or anti-planar configuration relative to the tropylium nucleus. The presence of a minute amount of protonation in position 3 is demonstrated by the rapid hydrogendeuterium exchange in this position. Steric interference in 1-formyl-azulenes with a methyl group in the peri position 8 favours the anti-planar configuration. As shown by one example, the conjugate acids of 1-acetyl-azulenes without substituents in positions 2 or 8 assume the anti-planar configuration. In 1-acetyl-azulenes carrying a methyl group in position 8, addition of a proton to the carbon centre 1 is the preferred route of protonation, as a consequence of the accompanying strain release.

The article proposes to consider the initial stage of the transition to such a form of training organization as collective classes in different-age groups of younger schoolchildren according to the methodology developed by the talented teacher A.G. Rivin. They are held at the Moscow secondary school named after Ivan Yarygin of the Krasnoyarsk region on the integrated content of academic subjects “Literary Reading”, “Fine Arts”, “Technology”. The specificity of the texts compiled by teachers for use in the process of paragraph-by-paragraph elaboration of the text using the technology of A.G. Rivina. Particular attention is paid to the issues of including first-graders (some of whom do not yet know how to read and write) in classes where younger schoolchildren of an older age participate. In this regard, multilevel algorithms of educational interaction are described. It highlights the difficulties that may arise with this form of training, as well as ways to overcome them.

A new arsenide, Cd7SiAs6, has been successfully synthesized and characterized. It is the first arsenide that adopts a nonchalcopyrite structure and possesses a strong nonlinear-optical (NLO) response. In the structure, the CdAs3 trigonal planar unit, a kind of π-conjugated planar NLO-active group, was identified for the first time. Furthermore, theoretical calculations reveal that the CdAs3 planar unit contributes more to the NLO effect than the CdAs4 tetrahedron does. The result may provide valuable insights for the future exploration of IR NLO materials, especially for application above 10 μm.

Novel xanthenoid dyes by replacing the central oxygen atom of the xanthene dyes with less electron-rich bridging groups have been intensively sought after primarily for their long spectral wavelengths. However, the new scaffolds are likely prone to nucleophilic attack at their central methane carbon, as the result of the reduced electron density of the fluorochromic scaffolds. We envisage that the bridging group may be harnessed to sterically shield the central methane carbon from incoming nucleophiles and render high stability and synthesized xantheno-xanthene dyes. Additionally, the xantheno-bridging group can be modified via electrophilic aromatic substitution to introduce functionalities, e.g., sulfonate groups.

Combined-permutation representations (CPRs) for characterizing -skeletons (a benzene skeleton, a Haworth-projected skeleton, a superphane skeleton, and a coronene skeleton) are constructed by starting from respective sets of generators, where the permutation of each generator is combined with a mirror-permutation of 2-cycle to treat both achiral and chiral substituents under the GAP system. Thereby, the CPR of degree 8 (= 6 + 2) for the benzene skeleton, the CPR of degree 14 (= 12 + 2) for the Haworth-projected skeleton, the CPR of degree 14 (= 12 + 2) for the superphane skeleton, the CPR of degree 14 (= 12 + 2) for the coronene skeleton are generated to give primary mark tables (tables of marks) based on these CPRs. These primary mark tables generated by the GAP system are different in the sequence of subgroups from each other, although they stem from the same point group . They are unified into a single standard mark table by means of a newly-devised GAP function MarkTableforUSCI. Moreover, another newly-devised GAP function constructUSCITable is employed to construct a standard USCI-CF (unit-subduced-cycle-index-with-chirality-fittingness) table concordantly. After a set of PCI-CFs (partial cycle indices with chirality fittingness) is calculated for each skeleton, symmetry-itemized combinatorial enumeration is conducted by means of the PCI method of Fujita’s USCI approach (S. Fujita, Symmetry and Combinatorial Enumeration in Chemistry, Springer-Verlag, Berlin-Heidelberg, 1991).

Thalliomelane, a new member of the coronadite group (hollandite supergroup), was discovered at Zalas near Kraków in southern Poland (the southern margin of the Kraków-Silesia Monocline) in relics of a preglacial supergene mineralization disseminated in a fault breccia in Middle Jurassic sandy limestone. The mineralization formed at the expense of a sulfide assemblage, which was most likely the source of thallium, related to rejuvenation of Early-Paleozoic fault zones in the Sava phase of the Alpine orogeny. The hoverfly genus Merodon Meigen, 1803 (Diptera, Syrphidae), which comprises more than 200 species is distributed in the Palaearctic and Afrotropical Region, but one species, Merodon equestris, is a pest of flower bulbs and has been invasive into New Zealand and North America. In this work, the Merodon aurifer species group, a member of the M. avidus-nigritarsis lineage, is revised. The diagnostic characters of the M. aurifer species group, and the morphological differences between M. aurifer Loew, 1862 and M. nudicorpus sp. n. are explained and illustrated, as well as their distribution map. A detailed study of the type material resulted in three new synonyms: M. distinctus Palma, 1863 is a junior synonym of M. aurifer; M. manicatus (Sack, 1938) and M. testacoides Hurkmans, 1993 are junior synonyms of M. testaceus. Lectotypes are designated for two taxa M. aurifer and M. manicatus instead of the erroneously designated types for these species in Hurkmans (1993).

SnTe3O8 crystallizes isotypically with other members of the series M IVTeIV 3O8 (M = Ti, Zr, Hf). It comprises [SnO6] octa­hedra and [TeO4] bis­phenoids as the principal structural building blocks., Tin(IV) trioxidotellurate(IV), SnTe3O8, is a member of the isotypic M IVTeIV 3O8 (M = Ti, Zr, Hf, Sn) series crystallizing with eight formula units per unit cell in space group Ia . In comparison with the previous crystal structure model of SnTe3O8 based on powder X-ray diffraction data [Meunier & Galy (1971 ▸). Acta Cryst. B27, 602–608], the current model based on single-crystal X-ray data is improved in terms of precision and accuracy. Nearly regular [SnO6] octa­hedra (Sn site symmetry . .) are situated in the voids of an oxidotellurate(IV) framework built up by corner-sharing [TeO4] bis­phenoids (Te site symmetry 2..). A qu­anti­tative structural comparison revealed a very high degree of similarity for the structures with M = Ti, Zr, Sn in the M IVTe3O8 series.

We have achieved a divergent access to seven/five-membered rings based on a [1,6]-hydride shift/cyclization process from benzylidenemalonate with an o-alkoxymethyl group. Traditionally, substituents are described not by their intrinsic properties, but by their effect elsewhere in a molecule. However, the quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) provides a route to intrinsic substituent descriptors. Ideally, these descriptors would exhibit minimal change as the local environment changes, and hence be considered transferable. Whether this is true is an open question. Here, we evaluated the transferability of QTAIM functional group descriptors for 117 functional groups in a series of 17 substrates to determine whether descriptors obtained using hydrogen as substrate are transferable. The functional group volume has a strong, consistent, linear relationship throughout. All other hydrogen-based group descriptors exhibit a relatively strong linear relationship with those in carbon-based substrates and a reasonable linear relationship with those in non-carbon-based substrates. Outliers are readily interpretable in terms of substrate induced functional group geometry changes. As expected, directional descriptors lying along the substituent-substrate axis are the least conserved.

We report here a direct allenylation reaction of inactive cyclic ethers. The reaction proceeds through a copper-catalyzed 1,4-difunctionalization of 1,3-enynes, with cyano group installed at the allenes simultaneously. This methodology shows a broad functional group compatibility to 1,3-enynes. Diversified allene-modified cyclic ether derivatives were synthesized with high regioselectivity under mild conditions.

Two of them belong in Subgroup IIb of the species group, one showing affinities with L. sommermanae García Aldrete and L. yakima Mockford & García Aldrete, the second one showing affinity with L. salamana García Aldrete. The third species belongs in Subgroup I of the species group, showing affinities with L. aspera García Aldrete and L. chiricahua García Aldrete. The especies here described raise to seven the number of species of Lachesilla in the Sierra Tarahumara.

Electrooxidative-induced synthesis of structurally diverse seleno-dibenzocyclohepten-5-ones and seleno-spiro[5.5]trienones by selenylative carbannulation of biaryl ynones with diaryl diselenide has been developed. The switchable reactivity, intramolecular ortho-annulation or dearomative ipso-annulation, is directed by the substituent present on the ortho-aryl group of aryl-ynone. The prominent features of this method include metal-free, external chemical oxidant-free conditions, and readily accessible substrates.

The configurational space of two-dimensional planar sp2 carbon has been systematically scanned by a random strategy combined with group and graph theory, and 1114 new carbon allotropes have been identified. These allotropes are energetically more favorable than most of the previously predicted 120 carbon allotropes. By fitting the HSE06 band structures of six old structures, we optimize the parameters for a general and transferable tight-binding model for high-throughput band structure calculations. We identified that there are 190 Dirac semimetals, 241 semiconductors, and 683 normal metals among the new allotropes. Interestingly, several stable low-energy carbon systems with exotic electronic properties are proposed, such as type III, type I/II mixed, and type I/III mixed semimetals, which are very rare in planar carbon systems. In particular, one nodal-line semimetal has been discovered among these thousands of allotropes, which is the first nodal-line semimetal in sp2 carbon systems. Our discoveries greatly enrich our knowledge of the structures and electronic properties of the two-dimensional carbon family.

BACKGROUND: Haematuria is the most common urinary finding that bring children to the attention of the paediatric nephrologists. It can be caused by glomerular & non-glomerular diseases. The main causes of Haematuria are urinary tract infections, trauma to abdomen, acute post streptococcal glomerulonephritis and congenital hydronephrosis. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to identify the distribution of factors in children with haematuria in age group of 1 to 14 years METHODS: A total of 84 admitted patients of haematuria, who fulfill the inclusive criteria,were enrolled in this study after consent from their parents. Each patient was evaluated through history, examination and investigated. Urine sample of each patient was analyzed for a microscopic examination. Investigations / imaging were performed in clinical laboratory of LGH / PGMI, Lahore. The collected information was entered into SPSS version 20, and analyzed. RESULTS: There were 47(44.05%) male and 37(55.95%) female patients in this study. The mean age of patients was 8.69 ± 3.63 years.We found 14 patients (16.66%) has urological anomalies,6 boys have posterior urethral valves.2 girls and one boy has vesicoureteral reflux.One boy and one girl has ureterovesical junction obstruction,one boy has hypospadias and 2 girls , ureteropelvic junction obstruction.History of recent bladder catheterization was seen in 5(5.59%), urinary tract infection 17(20.23%) and 14 patients has urological anomalies(16.66%). CONCLUSION: According to this study ,most common factors causing haematuria was urinary tract infection 17(20.23%) , acute poststreptococcal glomerulonephritis 16(19.04%) and congenital urological anomalies 14(16.66%).Renal stones were found in 10(11.90%).

This article deals with a fuzzy hypercompositional structure called fuzzy hyperlattice ordered δ- group ( FHLO δ - G ) , the extension of the fuzzy hypercompositional structure namely fuzzy hyperlattice ordered group (FHLOG). Using FHLO δ - G , we can involve one additional non-empty set δ with FHLOG, which helps to develop new results and applications. The structural characteristics and properties of FHLO δ - G are analysed. Furthermore, an application of FHLO δ - G for ABO blood group system is proposed.
