The article investigates the economic essence of institutional investors in 2 aspects: distinction from individual investors and impact on finance stability. Within the frames of the 1st aspect arguments are provided to prove the fact that the key difference between institutional investors and individual ones is the recipient of investment returns. To study the 2nd aspect Russian and overseas academic literature is analyzed, as well as acute statistics that help classify institutional investors by three categories: proportion of the share capital, investment horizon and source of capital building-up. This classification forms a basis of identifying after-effects of realizing various investors’ right to withdrawal and their impact on finance stability. The author assumes that institutional investor can be ascribed simultaneously to different types, which can increase their influence on finance stability at the expense of combining possible effects of realizing the right to withdraw. It became clear that today minority investors do not exercise serious impact on finance stability, however, they can intensify the impact of majority shareholders (especially institutional investors) on corporate sector of finance market in drag-along and tag-along conditions.

The article studies theoretical and methodological provisions for managing changes and recommendations on speeding-up technological reforms in the context of enterprise digital transformation. The author shows how to treat transformation integrally, i.e. from rapid innovation to the development of digital culture. The following conclusion was drawn: transparence of digital initiatives, adequate training, support of personal development and willingness to use unknown approaches are not properly elaborated on employees’ level. To resolve this problem the author proposed to carry out organizational reforms and changes in cultural thinking at the enterprise in general with further transition to digital thinking. Culture relying on digital transformation is a visiting card of mature digital enterprises and can foster innovation and extended cooperation. Management of changes requires confident and competent top management. So that enterprise executives start moving in the direction of digital transformation they shall first of all understand potential benefits of such changes and losses they can incur, it they do not do it. Organizational changes can allow the enterprise to pass on to a new level of management and resolve a number of problems connected with personnel resistance and people adaptation to forthcoming changes.

Lately we can observe serious changes in global retail trade stipulated by the development of technologies and modifications in customer expectations. Accumulation of knowledge of practical nature about use of digital technologies in retain trade has not got sufficient theoretical and methodological understanding so far. The goal of the research is to identify trends in using new technologies in retain trade by generalization of overseas experience. The informational base of the research is formed by works by foreign authors published in data base Scopus and Web Science from 2002 to 2023, press-releases of foreign retain companies and information on sites of trade equipment manufacturers. Certain new technologies were found that exercise considerable impact on retain trade. Overseas experience of introducing new technologies was analyzed and their advantages in view of different aspects of comfort for customers and provision of social presence were identified. Apart from that opportunities were studied that can offer new technologies for improving operational efficiency of retail trade enterprises. A conclusion was made that they are used insufficiently. Retailers need not just separate digital solutions, but complex digitalization, which requires changes in organizational structure and business-processes. Only building of general and systematic digital strategy that takes into account organizational transformation, modernization, upgrading quality, optimization of delivery chains, etc. can help retailers raise their competitiveness.

Digitalization exercises different impact on social and labour relations observed between employee and employer during recruitment process, conducting labour functions and terminating labour activity. On the one hand, digitalization fosters a growth in organization efficiency at the expense of cutting transaction costs and optimization of labour processes. At the same time it can lead to serious risks in the sphere of eroding worker’s social capital by reducing intensity of interaction with colleagues, drop in work team cohesion and violations of work-rest balance. Within the frames of the research the author systematized conclusions of 51 investigations studying the impact of digitalization on social and labour relations. The author discusses aspects of regulatory framework of social and labour relations in conditions of digitalization. And finally, aspects were highlighted that exert complex affect on the development of social and labour relations in conditions of digitalization. As a result a conclusion was drawn that digitalization can cause speeding-up of precarization of labour relations.

The topic of the article is investigation of methods used to estimate the quality of life with due regard to regional specific features. The goal of the research is to study the process of altering the ‘quality of life’ definition and to analyze the current methods of appraising quality of life in regions of the Russian Federation in view of finding the dependence between level of social welfare and satisfaction with high standard of quality of life. The article analyzes origin of the notion ‘quality of life’, studies world and Russian practices of estimating the quality of life index in present day conditions and identifies principles of shaping the key indicators of appraisal. The author analyzed experience of the rating assessment of quality of life by Russian and overseas agencies and academic associations. The analysis showed that key elements of indicators take into account such trends as the level of region development, natural and climatic conditions, level of people income, social sphere and labour market. The use of numerous criteria can give an opportunity to obtain an accurate and truthful assessment on the regional level. Factors provided in the article show the necessity to develop uniform approaches on theoretical and methodological levels based on human-centric principles, which can become a key indicator of the general appraisal of social and economic development of regions and a tool of strategic planning.

The development of any state is closely connected with sustainability of its banking system. Credit organizations (commercial banks) are an important element of economy, as they process and store the major part of monetary means. That is why work and efficiency of commercial bank functioning attract attention both on the part of the public and on the part of state finance regulators. In conditions of global and local crises the most important task of the commercial bank is elaboration of effective crisis strategy that can ensure its finance stability during the crisis and at the same time foster successful overcoming of various risks in order to guarantee economic security. The research goal is to define the notion ‘crisis finance strategy of credit organization’, to identify on the theoretical level in-bank causes of crises and accompanying risks, to find methods of state impact on crisis in the banking sphere, like crises in different countries, and tools of crisis strategy, which could provide an adequate level of economic security of the credit organization.

The article studies acute transformations of today’s stock market in Russia connected with the objective necessity of its sovereignization and redomiciliation of shares of Russian issuers. Specific features of these processes, risks and trends were identified and authors’ characteristics of factors that can affect the stock market dynamics were provided. The risk of prolonged keeping of a high key interest rate is marked as a principle one, while its impact has not so far brought serious results for inflation rate curbing, it influences the rise in interest rates on corporate borrowing market. A new interpretation of Russian share market and key interest rate movement was put forward, as well as characteristics of their interconnection proceeding from behavior grounds of home investors. All aspects of redomiciliation of shares of Russian issuers were analyzed as a key trend in sovereignization of home stock market. Participants’ interests in the process of redomiciliation were specified and risks of its impact on price trends on Russian share market were highlighted. The influence of redomiciliation on dividend history of home share market was analyzed. Special attention was paid to underestimation of home share market and possible impact of redomiciliation on dynamics of market share evaluation. According to the authors, shaping the sector of highly technological company shares is a stable trend in sovereignization of home stock market.

The article studies problems of managing units of nuclear heritage in Russia on the final stage of their life cycle connected with low effectiveness of measures used in practical work, which are caused mainly by deficiency of the regulatory framework. The author investigated overseas and Russian practices in the field of organization and support of operations aimed at liquidation of nuclear heritage units, conducted comparative analysis of organizational and finance mechanisms to control this work. Recommendations were elaborated on organization and financing operations dealing with security and putting out off work nuclear heritage units in Russia, meeting the best practices, on the basis of a specialized organization, i.e. heritage operator. The key functions of the heritage operator are identification and registration of units, including systematization of all attainable data concerning them; estimation of safety and finance and economic parameters; long-term planning on the basis of unit ranging and acting as a commissioner of work on their liquidation. Financing of such operations could be provided by co-financing by state, which is a customer and key consumer of products of nuclear heritage units and operating organizations. Taking into account the Russian practice in the field of resolving accumulated problems of nuclear heritage the proposed mechanisms could be implemented within the frames of specialized federal law.

The article focuses on the problem of professional integration of Russian women in new processes of information and technological development. The topic of gender inequality on labour market in certain shapes and forms is typical of nearly all today’s professions. The sphere of information and digital technologies is not an exception. IT- and STEM-industries present only one line in a vast scope of research dealing with women inclusion in this professional field. The author studies reasons for underestimation of labour and creative potential of women, due to which women find themselves connected with humanitarian and social occupations, while men – with occupations dealing with mathematics, engineering, high technologies and information science. It was pointed out that various professional skills, talents and creative dominance of women are not in demand. A whole set of external and internal factors were investigated that prevent women from entering professional spheres of IT and STEM, which can back up gender disparity and segregation in labour sphere. The author came to the conclusion that gender disparity not only exercises a negative impact on social and ethic relations but can cause direct economic and staff costs for the country. In its turn the extended presence of women in new digital industries and technical sectors can foster the development of economy and at the same time can help resolve numerous problems of gender inequality in labour sphere. Attaining gender balance is still an open and multi-sided topic in theoretical and practical plan on the junction of investigating labour economics and sociology of labour relations.

Digital transformation is an integral part of strategic management at the commercial enterprise, which ensures its sustainable development and competitiveness. Methods of implementing digital transformation keep on changing today. Traditional approaches lose their topicality, while new ones that take into account advanced trends in technology development, business-environment and customer behavior come into being. New methods require digitalization of processes of planning and managing digital transformation projects in conformity with current conditions of their implementation, which are included in the pass-through process of planning and carrying out today’s digital transformation. The goal of the research is to try to formulate the functional architecture of the project management block within the frames of the current system of digital transformation management. The research subject is processes of managing digitalization and digital transformation at commercial enterprises. The theoretical base of the research is formed by works by profile home and foreign scientists and organizations. Methodological base includes methods of systematic analysis and synthesis, optimal management, decision-making in conditions of uncertainty, expert alternative assessment and so on. Academic novelty of the research implies identification of functional architecture of the project management block of today’s digital transformation at commercial enterprises, selection of methodology for practical use. In practice it can provide their application for digital transformation in today’s conditions.

In conditions of digital economy development non-standard employment becomes more and more important on labour market of Uzbekistan. In spite of its potential advantages, such as flexibility and feasibility of entrepreneurship non-standard employment brings its challenges, for example absence of social welfare and stable income. The author of the article analyzed the current standing of non-standard employment in Uzbekistan, showed key trends and challenges and also provided recommendations for improvement of the situation. The research findings highlighted the importance of developing adequate measures aimed at ensuring just working conditions and social welfare for all workers irrespective of their employment.

In spite of global economic after-effects of pandemic (both biological and economic) risks of world economy fragmentation and severance of finance integration international trade in derivatives keeps on growing as a tool of ‘finance conciliation’ and it makes it necessary to research opportunities of this phenomenon widening. The article provides analysis of derivative market and shows key precedents that they set in international trade between different political blocks. The authors study the emerging market of crypto-derivatives, as development of blockchain technologies creates a new reality, which according to analysts, could embrace the next 400 years. Investigations of many investment companies show that extension of derivative market results in sustainable positive changes in various segments of economy, because now they cannot be controlled by political powers in different countries. However, this situation will remain intact only till the moment, when political structures learn to control their dynamics. The system of blockchain register changes traditional models and exercises positive impact on crypto-derivative market characterized by highest growth rate. Similar situation can be observed on digital asset market. Practical importance of the research implies the opportunity to estimate chances of developing mechanism of perfect competition, at least on this segment, which could permit to support positive economic changes and stability.

The article substantiates the hypothesis of conformity of organic agriculture proliferation in Russia and key provisions of Hagerstrand theory of innovation diffusion. To verify the hypothesis stages of innovation spacial diffusion and organic agriculture in Russia were compared. This comparison made it possible to identify key stages of organic sector location, subdivide organic product producers into innovators and followers and find their specialization and efficiency of work. Findings of the research showed conformity of first 2 stages of organic agriculture diffusion and stages of Hagerstrand theory: 1) emergence of innovators around cities and agglomerations with high level of innovation potential and 2) proliferation of followers. At the 1st stage we could see concentration of innovators in the central part of the country and in west Siberia. The 2nd stage is connected with turning-up of followers, who are mainly located in regions adjoining those of innovators and in the south of the country. Principle kinds of activity of those organizations that were certified by Ogranic standards were studied, they: 1) grow and process agricultural crops; 2) conduct mixed agriculture; 3) produce hot drinks; 4) collect wild fruits and berries; 5) produce meat and milk. Producers of plant-growing produce orient to home and foreign markets. Producers of meat, milk and hot drinks orient to home market. Organizations with the highest profitability of produce being sold specialize in mixed agriculture and collecting of wild fruits and berries. The max figures of sale profitability by net profit and asset profitability by net profit are typical of organizations dealing with collecting of wild fruits and berries. In the short run followers are not observed. Taking into account the specific features of spacial diffusion of organic agriculture that were identified, transition to the 3rd stage (consolidation) in Hagerstand theory can be feasible in the long-term period and will be affected by state policy.

With regard to sanction confrontation and numerous finance and economic restrictions strategic management of fiscal policy aiming at provision of stable finance earnings is becoming the most important factor of the economic development of any country. Administration of tax and non-tax payments plays a key role in shaping finance policy and ensuring stability of tax and budget system of the country. In this context experience of India, as a country with rapidly developing economy and unique system of tax administration is especially interesting. In India they use a mechanism of tax and non-tax payments whose administration system deserves special attention, as it forms an integral part of its finance system ensuring finance security and, in general, sustainable development of the country. The article studies different components of the Indian fiscal system. Special attention is paid to specific taxation of tax, non-tax and other earnings in the structure of budget revenues of the country.

Today the ecosystem approach to the industry development is being discussed both in academic and research quarters and on the level of guidance systems of regions, industries, cluster structures and separate enterprises. Ecosystems of different types, productive, entrepreneurial, digital can change the object field of trends, steps and tools of industrial policy. In conditions of sharp geopolitical crisis that caused the necessity of intensification of innovative product output needed to ensure technological sovereignty of Russia within the shortest period of time, the role of state in regulating and coordinating industrial ecosystem development is growing. The article partly demonstrated the theoretical base of industrial ecosystems and analyzed the way industrial policy can be realized, which was illustrated by the Udmurt Republic. The author proceeds from the fact that industrial ecosystem in the region is being formed right now. He reviewed the present measures of support meant for regional actors of ecosystem that are implemented by bodies of executive power and institutions of development. The author came to the conclusion that it is necessary to set up in the region the Agency on innovation development and put forward a project of its organizational structure and competencies. He also pointed out to significance of digital platforming of industrial ecosystem of the region in order to improve effective interaction between regional actors and to ensure sustainability of ecosystem.

The article studies sources of professional education impact on successfulness of career growth, which underlies organizational motivation; substantiates approaches to building education trajectories creating competitive advantage on labour market and puts forwards an ideal model of career growth worked out with regard to education levels, professional standard levels and the work-related line of an abstract organization. The author provided recommendations on shaping well-balanced motivation of experts of organization management system. The research was done with due regard to requirements of the professional standard ‘Management (Control) of the Organization’. The problem of career growth management was considered only for the category of administrativemanagerial personnel or managers, i.e. functional experts of the system of organization management. To process information, substantiate problems and obtain results of the present research the author used methods of comparative analysis, grouping, sociological investigations, as well as historic method and method of complex analysis and synthesis.

The system of long-term nursing is an important element of the system of social welfare, which gives an opportunity to create necessary conditions for worthy life of elderly people with restrictions and disabled ones. At the same time it can decrease the burden on the Public Health System in rendering in-patient and out-patient services to these people and on households in arranging lasting care in the form of unpaid work of relatives and in the form of expenses on medication and technical means of rehabilitation. In this way relatives who have to do nursing, can keep their employment and realize themselves in society and the family will not lose incomes. In view of the increasing trend of populating aging and of growing share of people older than the retirement age establishing and developing the system of long-term nursing is a very serious goal. However, it will need a clear and stable source of financing. In Russia the system of long-term nursing has been developing as a pilot project only for 5 years and results of this work are extremely important. The article appraised the effective mechanism of financing the system of long-term nursing for elderly people and disabled ones, analyzed different variants of financing long-term nursing systems in world practice and provided feasible potential of their introduction in home practice.

The article provides a list of interactive technologies, which can be used in education process on economic subjects and studies key approaches to identifying interactive technologies. Findings of the research dealing with efficiency of introducing interactive technologies in higher education institutions are also given. The authors for 4 days conducted a survey of six groups of students of the bachelor program with specialization 38.03.01 ‘Economics’. Qualitative and quantitative figures allowed them to analyze students’ attitude to conventional methods of teaching and interactive technologies at lecturers and tutorials. It was found out that the scale of using interactive technologies in teaching is increasing, however it is assessed as insufficient by the majority of students. The survey showed that such interactive technologies as questions in the form of game based on subject cards, tests in the form of game using digital teaching platforms, business/imitation games based on topics being studied, practical tasks/cases solving and project elaboration are appraised by students as effective methods of teaching. In conclusion it was pointed out that interactive technologies both at lectures and work-shops are efficient, however students prefer a mixed format.

The notion of corporate security came into being in the late 19th century, however the use and spread of the term in business-environment took place only in the second half of the 20th century. This notion was introduced into circulation to name a system of measures and practices aimed at protection of corporate interests and resources from internal and external threats. Corporate security of the company is a complicated set of measures and procedures for managing risks and at the same time a subject to management with a brand new content, whose topicality is sharpening due to risks of sustainable development. Business partners, company clients and other concerned persons often transfer their communication to the e-environment, where unpredictable changes take place and new risks arise. It can result in transformation of certain types of risks, such as finance, investment, reputational, regulatory, etc. Continuous study of risk transformation, importance of their impact on business and economy, sustainable development of companies shall be introduced as a mandatory function within the frames of sub-system of company corporate security. The authors showed that for timely appraisal of new risk and external factor impact on sustainable development of companies and their business it is necessary to restructure the system of in-company control with regard to corporate security as an element of the system of corporate management.

Nowadays the activities of many small innovative companies are concentrated in the field of digital technologies. Today operation of plenty of small innovation highly-technological companies concentrates in the field of digital technologies. Importance of compiling finance plans for these companies is explained by the necessity to compare the level of supposed costs, profitability and payback time with shareholders’ expectations; decision-making on financing tools; appraisal of investment appeal for potential investors. The key goal of the research is to study current methods of finance planning in order to assess their applicability in practice for small innovation companies. Using a real company as an example, three methods were compared: conceptual appraisal, scenario planning and Monte Carlo method. As a result the following conclusion was drawn: in conditions of uncertainty in making-up finance plans of small innovation companies it is advisable to use probability interpretation of work results, i. e. to use scholastic methods of finance planning to find possibility of damage arising.

Topicality of the subject is stipulated by the necessity of working-out algorithms to identify stakeholders and channels of communication with them, which could help cut costs and control risks present in the process in general and within the frames of business-ecosystems in particular. The article describes in detail the process of corporate interaction and identifies structure of its key stages. By analyzing the current approaches to organization of corporate interaction provided in a number of academic works the author put forwards a matrix, which shows the structure of mutually beneficial exchange of resources and profits for participants of corporate interaction. This analysis gives an opportunity to find out stakeholders’ interests, understanding of which can lead to the balance underlying the efficient corporate interaction. Using the conclusions on nature of the interaction process the author elaborated methodology of building technologies of sustainable corporate interaction in business-ecosystems.

The article studies key trends in upgrading finance accounting in public sector built with regard to principle peculiarities of economy in state entities. By analyzing the structure of drawing-up the report on results of finance operations published in IPSAS 1 standard ‘Providing Finance Accounting’ factors were found that influence accounting of public sector. The author researched the following notions: service potential, future economic benefits of public sector, exchange and non-exchange operations as basic factors affecting the structure of report on results of finance operations. Apart from that, draft report models on results of finance operations were developed and offered for use as they take into account key peculiarities of economic entities of public sector proceeding from classification of work by useful (service) potential and future economic benefits. It was found out that nature of asset acquisition by exchange and non-exchange operation can simplify the approaches to estimation of economic resource by using either just value or factual cost value. In the process of research the author specified characteristis of models for drawing up the report on results of finance operations by nature of costs and by their functional purpose depending on national specific features of conducting budget accounting in the concrete country.

Production and economic situation observed in product manufacturing makes the problem of personnel management even more topical in view of needs in highly-qualified labour resources. The article provides analysis of HR condition at the industrial enterprise. The analysis is based on statistical data and information collected within the frames of personnel policy monitoring. Certain aspects of HR policy were compared with regard to attracting labour personnel into production sphere at modern industrial enterprise. Challenges of upgrading HR policy were studied with due regard to professional suitability. Special attention was paid to the necessity to implement the program of advanced training based on requirements of production and gathered experience.

Customs statistics allow us to make a conclusion that foreign economic processes on the current stage do not stop and are not broken, but they are just re-oriented to other overseas markets or carried out by other logistic chains. In this situation the role of customs control after production output, which is conducted by one of its forms, i. e. customs check rises. To provide efficiency of customs check it is necessary to maintain continuous monitoring on the part of customs bodies in respect of problematic issues, their analysis and fast solution taking into account ‘The Strategy of Development of Customs Service in the Russian Federation up to 2030’. Now there are various controversial aspects in the research subject that shall be settled. Today’s customs control after production output must be effective for our state, and for a participant of foreign economic activity, customs check must be quick (imperceptible) and just. In view of this the article discusses problematic aspects of conducting customs check, underlines reasons for their arising and puts forward optimum ways of their resolving. These complicated problems shall be settled only in a complex way, so that it will be possible to see their effectiveness in the near future and in case of necessity to correct them.

Purpose: of this article is to justify the implementation of insurance of environmental risks in the Russian Federation in the form of a pilot project based on imputed insurance with the definition of the main conditions of insurance coverage.Methods: the presented work uses statistical and predictive methods and the integrated approach for processing data on natural, climatic and human activity risks. Correlation-regression analysis and actuarial modeling were used to determine the conditions for insuring environmental risks and calculate tariff rates.Results: the paper substantiates the possibility of carrying out insurance of environmental risks in the form of a pilot project using an imputed form of insurance. Approaches to the calculation of the main parameters of business civil liability insurance for causing environmental damage as a result of an accident within the framework of a pilot project are proposed, including the determination of the minimum and maximum non-aggregate insurance limit, the minimum number of insurance companies, and the calculation of tariff rates. Due to the lack of Russian statistics on insurance coverage of environmental risks, statistical data on global insurance catastrophic losses from natural events, climate risks and human actions, as well as judicial statistics on disputes over the application of environmental protection legislation, were used for the calculation. The regions of the Russian Federation were identified for the implementation of a pilot project of environmental risk insurance.Conclusions and Relevance: the implementation of a pilot project of environmental risk insurance in certain regions on the basis of imputed insurance will make it possible to assess the current and forecast level of environmental risks in the Russian Federation, the need for insurance and reinsurance protection, the possibility and necessity of state participation in covering environmental damage. Using insurance statistics, insurers will be able to develop adjustment factors that encourage enterprises to take preventive measures. Reflection in a special reporting section of the results of the participation of insurance companies in the insurance of environmental pollution risks will be considered as the implementation of ESG principles.

Purpose: is to research of ways to reduce the energy supply costs for Russian consumers.Methods: the analysis of the transformation of the electric power industry was carried out using the tools of tectology and system economic theory.Results: the key reason for the constant increase in the cost of energy supply has been identified, which is the transition from a systematic approach to energy development aimed at increasing general economic efficiency to maximizing the economic performance of independent energy companies. The need to adjust the basic principles laid down in the concept of electric power industry development is substantiated.Conclusions and Relevance: the result of the successful completion of the reform of the Russian electric power industry is a steady influx of significant investments into the industry over the course of decades. But despite the increase in power system capacity, which is outstripping the dynamics of electricity demand, the need for the most expensive peak power sources and energy storage systems is growing, which leads to an increase in electricity prices in addition to the investment component. A positive feedback has been identified that reduces the structural stability of the energy sector, namely: between rising electricity prices; reduction of electricity consumption from the network as a result of the installation of their own generation by some consumers; increasing costs of generating and network companies; more intensive growth in electricity prices and increased motivation to install their own generation for that part of consumers who continue to use grid electricity. The ways are proposed and the solutions are considered aimed at forming new connections between participants in the single technological process of production, transmission and consumption of energy resources, with the aim of reducing the energy supply costs and improving the specific performance indicators of the energy system, and in the future reducing the costs of integrating renewable energy sources into it.

Purpose: is to develop recommendations for the construction of new indices of innovative development designed for cross-country comparisons.Methods: the conventional general scientific methods were used in the article, such as the ones of description, comparison, system analysis and historical comparison. The study was based on the documents describing calculation methods of the economic indices and scientific publications covering the history, specifics and problems of the practical application of those indices.Results: it is shown that since the 1930s, when the creation of economic indices drew attention of economic science, indices have evolved from the relatively simple statistical indicators to the complex tools with sophisticated calculation methods. Using several of the most famous or remarkable indices as an example, the principal methods currently used in assessing the level of innovative development are revealed. Basing on the conducted research, the major requirements for composing innovative development indices are stipulated.Conclusions and Relevance: it has been found out that in order to achieve the maximum objectivity in compiling indices of innovative development, the widest possible range of significant indicators should be used and a pool of experts should be engaged in their selection. It is also advisable to engage the pool in compiling the index formula, in particular the indicators weights. Data normalization should be used to ensure comparability of incommensurable indicators, and statistical outliers are advised to be neutralized through standardization techniques. It is also necessary to take into account the goals of the index compiled. At the same time, in the future it is necessary to take into account relationships between the actors of national innovation systems and between different innovation systems, effects of scale and, when possible, sectoral specialization of countries and other national specifics.

Purpose: is to work out the scientifically sound theoretical and methodical framework for the «smart» complementarity of trade flows, aimed at selecting and substantiating potential commodity niches in trade of Russian regions with foreign countries.Methods: the general methodological basis of the study is the critical analysis of the scientific literature that forms the theoretical and methodological basis for the global competitiveness of individual regions of a country presented in the theories of regional and spatial economy. The study has been carried out by methods of system, structural-logical and abstract-logical analysis.Results: the research resulted in some fundamental scientific novelties such as: the scientifically grounded theoretical concept of “smart” complementarity, which makes it possible to identify the presence of specific foreign trade niches in a geographical (country, region) and commodity contexts, based on an analysis of the complementarity of trade flows at the level of a Russian region and a foreign country, and assessment of the global competitiveness of the regional economy, as well as “fine” criteria that determine the activity of participants in foreign economic activity. The applied results included a specific configuration of "smart" complementarity – the algorithm for determining promising economic specializations of the region, allowing to combine trade statistics of a foreign country with data regional statistics, indicating the presence of foreign trade potential, taking into account regional economic specializations. The developed algorithm is intended for the use in an information and analytical system to support management decisions in the field of foreign economic activity of the region.Conclusions and Relevance: the concept and configuration of «smart» complementarity in their practical implementation in the form of an information and analytical system are proposed in the article to provide the participants of foreign economic activity with data on promising export groups for selected countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. This approach allows moving the «center of gravity» of building trade and economic relations with foreign countries from the federal to the regional level.

Purpose: is to reveal features of contemporary State’s upskilling policies of India that are focused on improving the competitiveness of Indian labour.Methods: the article uses the methods of multiple comparative analysis, generalization, comparison and SWOT analysis of upskilling policies adopted by the government to upgrade the skills of the future workforce of India.Results: the article examines the major government policies on skill development in India, provides a comparative analysis of their role, importance and effectiveness, and conducts a SWOT analysis to better understand these policies. It summarizes the properties, features and functions of the contemporary Government policies on skill development to highlight the relevance and importance of developing new tools to enhance their effectiveness. The comparative analysis of various factors has shown that the current Government policies on skill development in India require a holistic and realistic approach to revise the objectives of the Government strategy in this area and set reasonable targets.Conclusions and Relevance: contemporary State upskilling policies such as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, skill India etc. didn’t reach set target. Not so many young labor force is enrolling in the courses provided by the State due to lack of promotion activities and reach to the target audience. The Government has less statistics of the Indian labor market which could clearly define the on-time status of all the State initiatives. There is a need to develop an online platform of staffing to have clear and actual data of the labor market. The online platform of staffing can connect all the stakeholders of the labor market which would help the government to use the holistic approach for developing the Indian labor market together with the stakeholder of the market.

Purpose: the study aims to analyze industrial development in the Udmurtia and propose measures to foster innovation. These efforts may enhance regional manufacturers' order portfolio and enhance the region's competitiveness both nationally and internationally.Methods: the research employs a complex of methods including factual, dynamic, causal, correlation-regression and structural analysis, alongside generalization, comparison, logical analysis, and graphical visualization.Results: the article analyzes the development of the industry in the Udmurtia, known for its strong presence in the military-industrial complex (MIC). The study delves into current industry trends, innovation indicators, and practices of MIC enterprises. It highlights obstacles to innovation and suggests measures to boost innovation, increase output volumes, and bolster the industry's adaptability to emerging challenges.Conclusions and Relevance: the regional enterprises of the manufacturing industry and MIC are the leading producers of innovation in the region. However, the proportion of innovative industrial products in the overall regional output is limited to 10%. Correlation and regression analysis showed the significance of the level of innovative activity of organizations and the share of organizations carrying out technological innovations in the effectiveness of innovative activity in the manufacturing industry. Innovation can be encouraged through various means, such as attracting investments, establishing a regional Agency for Innovation Development, digital platformization, and fostering integration among innovation entities with the help of an innovation accelerator, taking advantage of new market niche opportunities, stimulated by promoting corporate entrepreneurship. The region’s future prospects are closely tied to the development of the high-tech sector of unmanned aerial systems, what is the subject of scientific interest of the author's future research.

Purpose: is to develop an innovative approach to risk management in public-private partnership (PPP) projects using advanced artificial intelligence technologies that allow creating the risk assessment model that takes into account non-linear relationships between various risk factors.Methods: in addition to traditional methods of scientific knowledge, interdisciplinary approaches of risk management and established practice of machine learning were used in the work. The methodological basis of the study was formed by works on the risk assessment and the application of AI algorithms in this area. The empirical basis of the study was the data of the official portal of ROSINFRA on public-private partnership projects.Results: the practice of applying AI algorithms to the task of assessing the risks of PPP-projects in Russia and abroad was studied. It is established that the most effective result is shown by the models based on Random-Forest-Classifier. However, the presented solutions do not take into account Russian economic realities. The authors have structured a database of implemented PPP-projects suitable for risk modeling. The model for assessing the risk of failure to achieve the objectives of Russian PPP-projects has been developed and its quality has been assessed. Recommendations on implementation of the model in the operational loop of PPP projects realization processes are offered.Conclusions and Relevance: the developed model allows, according to the general parameters of PPP project (region, authority, term of agreement, industry and scope of implementation, etc.) with the accuracy of 93% (according to the ROC\AUC metric), to assess the risk that the project will end incorrectly (due to a failed tender, refusal to launch, termination by court decision, cancellation/annulment of the tender). With the help of the model the executive authorities of the Russian Federation can build risk management for PPP projects management in the regions and thus contribute to their efficiency improvement. The article may also become useful for project management practitioners and appraisers.

Purpose: of the article is to present the experience in developing and testing the methodology for extracting a system of narratives on a socially significant phenomenon from authentic social network big data (using the example of narratives about COVID-19 vaccination in the Russian social network VKontakte during the pandemic).Methods: of automated data analysis were used by the tools of the PolyAnalyst analytical platform: topic modeling (PLSA method), text indexing algorithms with the sentence identification stage, clustering, data aggregation, data normalization, calculation of a quantitative index. The calculation of the measure of proximity of keywords using the Python, partial manual markup and data validation were also carried out.Results: 4.5 million messages relevant to the topic of COVID-19 vaccination published in VKontakte from 01.01.2020 to 01.03.2023 were reduced to 237 stable narratives. A popularity index was calculated for each narrative. For example, the following narrative turned out to be the most popular: “Employers put pressure on people to get vaccinated” (it was supported by 76,118 texts). As a result of the study, a dataset was obtained, including 237 narratives.Conclusions and Relevance: the developed toolkit is universal: the methodology can be adapted to any relevant topic, requiring only adjustments to the input parameters of thematic modeling. The obtained dataset is planned to be introduced into scientific circulation as an up-to-date material for studying public opinion on vaccination in Russia. The results contribute to international research on public opinion and communication in crises and can serve as a basis for practical actions aimed at improving the quality of public communications and decision-making at all levels of government.

Purpose: is to develop the menu of contracts for the model of tariff regulation of natural monopolies in the areas of heat supply, water supply and sanitation, to ensure the economic security of subjects of the tariff regulation system.Methods: the article uses a systematic approach. The theoretical basis of the study is the synthesis of the theory of tariff regulation, the theory of contracts and the theory of economic security. The work also applies special methods used in calculating tariffs: economically justified costs (expenses) and tariff indexation.Results: the presented study substantiates the model of tariff (antimonopoly) regulation of subjects of natural monopolies, taking into account their economic security. Using the provisions of the contract theory, a new menu of contracts for consumers has been developed and tested, allowing them to be included in the process of influencing the size of tariffs, stimulating demand, taking into account low-level indicators in tariff regulation and solving the problem of fulfilling the production programs of monopolists.Conclusions and Relevance: existing practical and theoretical models of tariff regulation do not ensure the economic security of natural monopolies and consumers. In this regard, a substantiation of the model of tariff (antimonopoly) regulation of subjects of natural monopolies and the development of a new menu of contracts for consumers, providing for their choice of one of two types of contracts, were made. The main conclusions of the study can be used to improve the state tariff policy.

The paper analyzes interregional trade in Russia using gravity models. The model estimates the trade elasticity with respect to the size of exporting and importing regions and the distance between them. In addition, the impact on trade of additional factors, such as the common border of trading regions, the presence or absence of railroads, land or sea borders with other countries, is studied. Special attention is given to the issue of measuring distances between regions. The influence of the method of calculating the distance matrix (from the simplest orthodromic to the proposed weighted matrix of the shortest road and rail distances) on the coefficients of the models is studied. The all-Russian estimates of trade elasticities by the size of the exporting and importing region, equal to 1.15 and 1.05, showed high accuracy and robustness to the set of factors included in the model, the observation period, and the distance matrix. Both values were greater than one, which is significantly higher than typical estimates for international trade. This suggests that large and wealthy regions in Russia trade more, further increasing their welfare, while small and depressed regions are unable to escape the poverty trap, further increasing the current high level of regional heterogeneity. Distance is also very important in Russia (the elasticity of trade with respect to distance is –1.15, which is much higher than the world average, but still lower than the previous estimates for Siberia and the Russian Far East). This indicates insufficient transport infrastructure, higher costs of information search, transactions, contract execution, and other difficulties associated with long-distance trade. The absence of railroads in a region reduces its trade by about one-third, while neighboring regions increase the quantity of goods transported between them by about 75%. An external land or sea border facilitates domestic imports, some of which are re-exported abroad and some are consumed with the money earned from exports. At the same time, domestic exports from border regions, which cannot compete with external exports, are reduced. The method of calculating the distance matrix has a significant effect on the elasticity of trade with respect to distance, and to a limited extent on other coefficients of the model. In this case, it is recommended to use the weighted matrix proposed in this paper, which uses road distances for nearby regions and rail distances for distant regions

The purpose of this study is to clarify the prospects for the creation of a new reserve currency by the (Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries to reduce foreign exchange costs in trade transactions, to strengthen integration processes in the Eurasian space, to increase the investment potential of developing Asian countries and to stimulate sustainable economic growth. The paper presents the results of mathematical modeling of the optimal portfolio structure of collateral assets with the possible issuance of a new reserve currency by the SCO countries. The article concludes that currently the best reserve assets that have been analyzed are the Chinese yuan, Indian rupee and gold. The expected return of the new reserve currency does not depend on fluctuations in the global foreign exchange market, and its calculated risk (standard deviation of return) turned out to be lower than the risk of fluctuations in the value of the yuan and gold. The article concludes that gold is the best collateral asset, as it has a stable positive yield, constant purchasing power and a fair value that is 4 times higher than the market value. It is proposed to issue a new reserve currency in the form of stablecoins so that it incorporates all the best properties of cryptocurrencies and fiat money

The purpose of the article is to summarize theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of such a phenomenon as inversions and inversion processes in socio-economic sciences and to identify the features of the application of these approaches in research in the field of spatial economics, as well as their use in assessing the development of the border North Arctic territories of the Far East both at the national and international levels. The analysis of existing research approaches to understanding the essence, characteristics and tools for studying inversion processes in scientific areas in the socio-economic field allows us to interpret them in relation to spatial-economic research and identify specific methods of their application that are related to spatial economics. The identified research methods are used to study the Far Eastern North Arctic territories, which are currently undergoing deep qualitative transformations in their production specialization, auxiliary cycles and chains, as well as in the infrastructure that provided these processes. On the basis of both previous and current author’s studies, it is stated that in the regulation of inversion processes both in the spatial economy as a whole and in the conduct of specific studies on the development of the North Arctic territories, the leading role is played by the balance of opposing endogenous and exogenous elements of the infrastructure of spatial- economic formations at all their hierarchical levels. In conclusion, the article presents the generalizing results of the research in all its directions

Modern international processes in Northeast Asia are characterized by relations of mutual competition and cooperation, high security tensions, and developed economic ties, for the maintenance and expansion of which the countries of the region seek to adapt their regional strategy in the face of growing rivalry between China and the United States. Russia also has considerable political, security and economic interests in Northeast Asia. This paper is devoted to the study of achievements and problems of Russia's bilateral cooperation in politics and economy with the so-called ‘Big Three’ countries of Northeast Asia (China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea) over the past decade (2014–2024), as well as the assessment of their development prospects. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of opportunities and limitations that have emerged during the period under study in attempts to match the programs and projects of cooperation with the Russian Far East put forward by these countries with Russia’s strategic initiatives for its accelerated development, including an assessment of the influence of the geopolitical situation on the Northeast Asian countries’ decision-making on participation or non-participation in cooperation projects in the Far East. The analysis of changes in Russia’s political and economic relations with each of the ‘Big Three’ countries associated with the start of the special military operation is presented

The paper considers specific features of formation and development of organizational structures in the Russian economy, aimed both at achieving economic and technological sovereignty and at developing cooperation and interaction of complementary industries and spheres of economic activity. The most important features of the proposed approach include the consideration and development of interaction through the lens of spatial characteristics of the domestic economy. According to the authors, the Russian economy is characterized by an increasingly important role of the spatial factor in solving all the main tasks of socio-economic development. This is associated with significant distances of delivery and provision of goods and services, as well as with a high degree of spatial dispersion of individual stages and redistribution within the value chain (added value). Failure to take this circumstance into account in the process of ‘radical’ economic reforms over the past 30–35 years has led to the degradation of many industries and spheres of economic activity – the rupture or elimination of fragments of value chains (added value) created in the process of industrialization. The authors of the paper develop and detail the approach to the formation of sustainable value chains (added value), called ‘pulse projects’, developed by the IEIE. It is proposed to develop these projects on the basis of a combination of vertical integration processes of complementary stages and redistribution (located in different regions of the country). Such development is closely related to the building of horizontal interactions at individual stages of economic processes and technological redistribution. This approach allows, according to the authors, to ensure the formation and development of horizontal interactions in the context of implementing both the tasks of spatial development and achieving the priorities of scientific and technological policy

The study is devoted to the analysis of the rates and factors of industrial growth in Russian regions during the period of the Special Military Operation and new anti-Russian sanctions in 2022–2023. The research used cartographic, comparative, correlation analysis, and econometric modeling. The study showed multidirectional growth trends in the mining and manufacturing industries in Russian regions in 2022 and 2023, as well as different patterns of Russian regions during the period of new anti-Russian sanctions. Interregional differences in the growth rates of industry and its main sectors, both during the period of stagnation (2022) and moderate growth (2023), turned out to be huge. Over two years, the gap in industrial growth rates ranged from –26.8% in the Kaliningrad region to +38.3% in the Bryansk region. Using correlation and regression analysis, the influence of five groups of factors on the dynamics of industrial production in Russian regions was tested. Econometric analysis showed a statistically significant positive impact of the quality of human capital, as well as the share of the communications and telecommunications industry in gross value added on the growth of industrial production in Russian regions in both 2022 and 2023, and a negative impact on this growth of the degree of openness of the economy, expressed in the dependence on imports, exports and foreign investment, although the importance of these factors has varied over time. State participation in the economy, manifested in the share of state ownership and growth in budget expenditures, has become a more prominent factor in industrial growth in 2023. In the same year, the share of the private sector ceased to be a significant factor in the reduction in industrial growth rates, as it was in 2022. In 2023, an important factor in industrial growth was the share of manufacturing industries in the region’s GRP

Does capital structure matter for farms productivity? Do bank loans increase or decrease farms efficiency? To address this question, I use farm-level data for 2014–2020 from Amur region, which is one of the most typical Russian regions in terms of agricultural development. I find some evidence of a negative correlation between financial leverage and total factor productivity in Amur Oblast farms. I also observe a negative correlation between financial leverage and partial productivity measures such as labor productivity, crop yield, and return on fixed assets. The negative relationship between enterprise productivity and the share of loans in liabilities can be explained, on the one hand, by the fact that bank loans are more often used by struggling, inefficient agricultural enterprises, i. e. adverse selection may take place. On the other hand, the negative relationship between firm productivity and bank credit may be due to the non-market nature of the credit they receive, with the government subsidizing the interest rate and/or guaranteeing the loan obligations. As a result, farms face soft budget constraints that reduce the incentives of owners and management to improve farm efficiency. The two proposed explanations (adverse selection and soft budget constraints) are not mutually exclusive, but rather complementary

Doğal faiz oranı, para politikasının şekillendirilmesinde ve iktisadi kararların yönlendirilmesinde önemli rol oynamaktadır. Bu çalışma Türkiye için doğal faiz oranını yapısal VAR (SVAR), indirgenmiş form ve Hodrick-Prescott (HP) filtresi olmak üzere üç farklı ekonometrik yaklaşım kullanarak tahmin etmektedir. Çalışma, 2006-2023 yılları arasındaki verileri kullanarak, Türkiye'deki faiz oranı farkının dinamiklerinin kapsamlı bir analizini sunmaktadır. İndirgenmiş form yaklaşımı ve HP filtresi belirli dönemlerde önemli reel faiz oranı açığı varlığına işaret ederken, SVAR yaklaşımı tahmin sürecindeki döngüselliğe bağlı olarak nispeten daha küçük bir reel faiz oranı açığı ortaya koymaktadır. Ortalama olarak, her üç yöntemden elde edilen doğal faiz oranı tahminleri karşılaştırılabilir olmakla birlikte, SVAR ve HP yaklaşımları indirgenmiş form yaklaşımından daha yüksek tahminler vermektedir. Ayrıca, reel faiz oranı farkının oynaklığı SVAR yaklaşımında en düşük seviyededir. Bu sonuçlar, doğal faiz oranının oynaklığı göz önüne alındığında, fiyat istikrarını korumak için aktif bir para politikasının benimsenmesinin önemini ve alınan politika kararlarında DFO’nı dikkate alması gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır.

Bu çalışmanın amacı, etnosentrik olmasına rağmen yabancı dijital platformları tercih eden ve zenosentrik olmasına rağmen yerel dijital platformları tercih eden tüketicilerin yaşadığı bilişsel uyumsuzluk etkisini tersine çevirebilecek ve tüketicide olumlu tutumlar oluşturabilecek etmenlerin incelenmesidir. Literatürde, etnosentrizmin yabancı marka tercihi üzerinde olumsuz etkisi ve zenosentrizmin yerli marka tercihinde olumsuz etkisi görüldüğünden çalışmaya bazı aracı ve düzenleyici değişkenler eklenerek bu etkilerin olumluya çevrilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda anket formu oluşturularak, Türk tüketicilerden kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile 415 kişiden veri toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına göre, etnosentrizmin yabancı marka tercihine doğrudan etkisi bulunamamışken algılanan marka yerelliği üzerinden dolaylı bir etki tespit edilmiştir. Zenosentrizmin ise yerli marka tercihine doğrudan etkisi kısmen desteklenmiş ve tüketici benlik uyumunun bu etkide dolaylı bir rol oynadığı görülmüştür. Bulgular, etnosentrizmin algılanan yerellik ile yabancı marka tercihi üzerinde doğrudan etkisi olduğunu ve algılanan fiyat değerinin, algılanan yerellik ile yabancı marka tercihi arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyici rol oynadığını ortaya koymuştur. Zenosentrizmin benlik uyumu üzerinde, benlik uyumunun da yerli marka tercihinde anlamlı etkisi saptanmıştır. Algılanan kalite değerinin benlik uyumu ile yerli marka tercihi arasındaki ilişkide düzenleyici rol oynadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Son olarak, etnosentrizmin yerli marka tercihine, zenosentrizmin de yabancı marka tercihine doğrudan etkisi görülmüştür.

The objective of this study is to analyze the types of studies, keywords, authors, author collaborations, citations, and countries associated with articles published in the field of cost accounting in the Web of Science (WoS) database between 1980 and 2023. The research employs the bibliometric analysis method, a statistical approach designed to unveil publication trends in articles. Out of the 2,555 articles identified in the WoS database, 1,538 articles were scrutinized following specific limitations. The findings indicate a notable increase in studies conducted in the field of cost accounting over the last decade.

Türkiye ekonomisinde son on yılda yaşanan aşırı fiyat artışları, ülke ekonomisinde önemli bir refah kaybına sebebiyet vermiş olup enflasyondaki fiyat artışlarının kalıcılığının literatürde yeterli sayıda incelenmediği gözlemlenmiştir. Bu çalışmadaki temel amaç 2005M01-2024M04 zaman serisini baz alarak fiyat artışlarının kalıcı olup olmadığını ampirik analizlerle sorgulamaktır. Geleneksel birim kök testleriyle enflasyon serisinin durağanlığının incelendiği çalışmada, enflasyondaki şokların kalıcılığını araştırmak için otoregresif koşullu değişen varyans modellerinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, Türkiye için enflasyondaki volatilitenin kalıcı olduğu tespit edilmiş, sonuçlar değerlendirilerek politika önerisinde bulunulmuştur.

As the world's resources diminish, ensuring a sustainable planet for future generations has become a crucial issue that demands attention from all stakeholders. Consequently, various domains of life encounter the concept of sustainability. In this study, we analyzed the sustainability standards published by the Accounting, Public Oversight, and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK), which is the regulatory and supervisory body. Our aim was to clarify the connection between investment decisions and sustainability reports on businesses. This study employed the document analysis to examine the sustainability reports of the top 30 companies listed on the Borsa Istanbul (BIST 30) for the year 2022, using the S1 and S2 standards issued by KGK, with a focus on four key criteria. We allocated one (1) point to the company if it complied with these four criteria when preparing its sustainability report; otherwise, we assigned zero (0) points. Subsequently, we conducted diverse financial analysis on the 2022 financial data of these organizations and employed the Spearman correlation test to investigate the association between the outcomes and sustainability reporting. A strong correlation was found between sustainability reporting and the leverage ratio, earnings per share, firm size, asset return, and P/E ratio. The study highlights the significance of offering comprehensive explanations in line with applicable requirements when drafting sustainability reports, while also considering the influence of investor decisions on firms.

Bu çalışmanın amacı insanların hatta bazı hayvanların çok kötü yaşam koşullarına sahip olmaları nedeniyle hayatlarını sonlandırma durumunu konu alan ötenazi konusunu incelemektir. Çalışmada ötenazi sürdürülebilirlik kavramı ile ilişkilendirilerek çevresel, ekonomik ve sosyal sürdürülebilirlik açısından ele alınmıştır. Bu doğrultuda ötenazi sürdürülebilirliğin ekonomik, çevresel ve sosyal alt boyutları çerçevesinde yönetim muhasebesi yaklaşımıyla maliyet fayda analizine tabi tutularak örneklenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmadaki veriler yazarlar tarafından tahmini olarak oluşturulmuştur. Ardından, ötenazinin var olması ve var olmaması durumu dikkate alınarak ekonomik, çevresel ve sosyal sürdürülebilirlik açısından gelir ve maliyet unsurları belirlenmiş ve maliyet fayda analizi yapılmıştır. Analizin amacı şu veya bu kararın verilmesi gerektiğini işaret etmek yerine konuyu olası tüm boyutlarıyla ele alıp ortaya koymak ve okuyucunun görüşüne sunmaktır. Yapılan maliyet fayda analizi ile ortaya çıkan parasal maliyet ve gelir kalemlerinin tutar olarak büyüklüğü ve parasal olmayan gelir ve maliyet kalemlerinin etkisinin vakanın tıbbı özelliğine ve hastanın çevresindeki yakınlarının profiline bağlı olarak değişebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The objective of this study is to evaluate the degree to which information technology department employees meet the stages of needs outlined in Abraham Harold Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory. The researchers identified eight variables and formulated eight hypotheses related to these variables. To test these hypotheses, data from an online survey completed by 401 active information technology employees in Turkey, representing the study population, was utilized. The convenience sampling method, which is one of the non-probabilistic sampling methods due to time and budget constraints, was utilized. The statistical analysis revealed a noteworthy correlation between the variables, particularly in terms of income status and motivation, across all sub-dimensions of Abraham Harold Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs theory. While variations in the perceived level of deprivation by sub-dimensions were identified in other hypotheses, these variances did not reach statistical significance across all sub-dimensions.

In recent years, developments in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and MachineLearning (ML) technologies have had profound effects on all sectors. The logistics industry has also become a sector where these technologies are being used to a significant extent. The emergence of intelligent logistics systems offers several opportunities for the advancement of this sector by facilitating digital transformation in supply chain and logistics. The aim of this study is to provide a comprehensive review of recent studies examining the use of AI and ML systems in the logistics industry. In this study, which is designed as a systematic study, firstly, based on the existing literature, the basic concepts, trends, researchers and countries working on AI and ML systems in the logistics sector are examined by bibliometric analysis method. Then, information about the prominent AI and ML systems in logistics is given. It is seen that the most frequently used AI and ML technologies in logistics are Deep Learning, Optimization, Internet of Things (IoT), Data Mining and Predictive Models. The methodologies presented in the study have a practical importance in increasing efficiency, transparency and planning in the logistics.
