The self-designed general information questionnaire assessed irritability, depression and anxiety (IDA) on a self-rating scale. It was used to examine patients’ existing negative emotions with coronary heart disease after PCI and analyse the influencing factors.Results: 203 questionnaires were distributed, and 202 valid questionnaires were recovered, with an effective recovery rate of 99.5%. The IDA score of patients with coronary heart disease after PCI was 17.01± 7.60 points, the incidence of negative emotions was 63.8%, and the incidences of depression, anxiety and irritability were 39.6%, 8.4% and 15.8%, respectively. Negative emotion was taken as the dependent variable and a patient’s general data, such as lifestyle and disease, as the independent variables. A univariate analysis was conducted to obtain gender, age, educational level, marital status, work status, per capita monthly household income, sleep status, etc. Seven factors were identified as the influencing factors of negative emotions in patients with coronary heart disease after PCI, and the difference was statistically significant (P< 0.05).Conclusion: Most patients with coronary heart disease after PCI tend to exhibit negative emotions such as anxiety and depression. Medical staff should attach great importance to evaluating any negative feelings in this group and take timely targeted intervention measures to prevent and mitigate the occurrence and development of these adverse emotions in patients with coronary heart disease after PCI.Keywords: coronary heart disease, postoperative PCI, negative emotions, influencing factors

The aim of the present study was to investigate the PAQR3 gene expression and its methylation level in colorectal cancer tissues, as well as the association with colorectal cancer clinical data. In total, 54 cases of colorectal cancer tissue samples and normal adjacent tissue samples were collected between June, 2013 and July, 2014. RT-PCR and western blot analysis were used to detect the mRNA and protein levels of PAQR3 in colorectal samples, respectively. MSP was used to detect the methylation level of PAQR3 gene in colorectal samples, which was compared with colorectal data. The results showed that a decreased expression level of PAQR3 mRNA in colorectal cancer tissues and the expression reduction rate was 57.4% (31/54). Similarly, the expression level of PAQR3 protein was reduced in cancer tissues, and the reduction rate was 46.3% (25/54), while the protein expression reduction rate in cancer adjacent tissue was 5.6% (3/54), and the difference was statistically significant (P

A versatile strategy to fabricate newly-developed silica-modified membranes based on organic/inorganic hybridization for oil/water separation is described in this study. The modified membranes are easily obtained by a simple two-step immersion of polysulfone hollow fiber membranes with radial gradient microstructure (RGM-PSF) into a silicon solution of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) mixed with 3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GOPTS) and subsequently into a lactic acid solution. Attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (ATR-FTIR), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) were utilized to characterize the surface compositions and microstructures. A micro/nano-scaled SiO2-based coating was generated roughly and continuously on the membrane surfaces, endowing them with superhydrophilicity and underwater superoleophobicity. Results of dead-end filtration experiments demonstrated that the hybridized RGM-PSF membranes could be applied in oil-in-water emulsion separation far more efficiently, with higher water permeate flux, better oil rejection ratio, and higher pressure endurance than those of the common ones. Therefore, this study has provided a facile approach to prepare silica-modified membranes with special wettability, showing prominent application prospects for oily wastewater treatment in practical processes.

Posterior capsular opacification is the most frequent complication after cataract surgery, which is induced by the proliferation, differentiation and migration of lens epithelial cells. Inhibiting the proliferation of human lens epithelial cells could reduce the occurrence of posterior capsular opacification. To explore the possible potential of ZnO nanoparticles in treating posterior capsular opacification, we investigated the effect of ZnO nanoparticles on the human lens epithelial cell proliferation in the presence and absence of ultraviolet B (UVB) irradiation via 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-5-(3-carboxymethoxyphenyl)-2-(4-sulfophenyl)-2H-tetrazolium (MTS) assay. The results indicate that ZnO nanoparticles could apparently inhibit the proliferation of human lens epithelial cells in a dose-dependent manner, and UVB irradiation can further enhance this inhibitory role for the human lens epithelial cell proliferation, indicating the great potential of ZnO nanoparticles in treating posterior capsular opacification in clinical application.

Long-term sales forecasting is a problem that has been focused on for a long time. In order to forecast the long-term sales of an industry or an enterprise accurately, a new method based on Grey Model and Artificial Neural Network is proposed in this paper. The effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method is verified by simulation experiment using sales data of the manufacturing and trade industry provided by the U.S. government.

Objective To evaluate the effect of low-concentration preoxygenation on physical work capacity with a heart rate of 170 beat per minute (PWC170) in recruits arrived on Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (3651m height above sea level), and investigate the possible correlation between new recruits' coping style and physical work capacity. Methods Thirty-nine recruits coming from plains (799m or 620m height above sea level) were involved in our study. They were randomly divided into 3 groups: experimental group I (n=12), experimental groupⅡ (n=12), and control group (n=15). The group I had 1L/min low concentration preoxygenation for 30min, and groupⅡ had 2L/min for 30min, once a day for 3 days. No preoxygenation in control group. The new recruits's PWC170 values were measured by stepping stairs for evaluating their physical ability, and the new recruits's coping responses were investigated with "Physical Training Coping Scale", and then those data compared with these of 98 soldiers stationed in Tibet (senior soldier group, stationed in Tibet for at least 2 years). Results Each basic PWC170 values showed no significant diffierence between group Ⅰand Ⅱ (P>0.05). Each basic PWC170 was significantly higher in the experimental groups Ⅰand Ⅱthan in control group (P0.05). Correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between the "active response" factor and basic PWC170 value, and between "emotional management" factor and PWC170 value on second day between the two experimental groups (r=0.329 and 0.344 respectively, P

Objectives As a parenchymal cell, the photoreceptor is more susceptible to alterations in outer micro-environmental conditions than other cells. In the present study, we aimed to investigate inhibitory effects of zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles on expression of manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) in murine photoreceptor-derived cells. Materials and methods We investigated effects of ZnO nanoparticles on murine photoreceptor cell viability and on expression and activity of MnSOD using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay, immunofluorescence analysis, flow cytometry, quantitative real-time PCR and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results ZnO nanoparticles were found to have higher cytotoxic effects in concentration- and time-dependent manners, to elevate intracellular levels of hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl radicals, and thus to induce overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and collapse of mitochondrial membrane potential, leading to cell damage. Moreover, ZnO nanoparticles also significantly reduced expression of MnSOD at both the mRNA and protein levels, reduced its activity, and further aggravated oxidative stress-mediated cell damage. Conclusion Overall, ZnO nanoparticle-induced cytotoxicity was associated with elevated levels of oxidative stress due to overproduction of ROS and reduced expression and activity of MnSOD.

Two novel chiral thiophosphoramides and two chiral phosphoramidites were synthesized starting from (S)-α-phenylethylamine and (R)-(+) or (S)-(−)-1,1′-Bi-2-naphthol (BINOL), respectively, and their application in combination with Lewis acid as cocatalysts in asymmetric Morita–Baylis–Hillman (MBH) reaction was investigated. Dramatic rate acceleration (the corresponding adducts were obtained in fair to excellent chemical yield within 15 min–5 h) was observed in these chiral phosphorus reagents/Lewis acid cocatalyzed MBH reaction between 4-nitrobenzaldehyde and activated alkenes, and in one case, moderate enantioselectivity was achieved (the corresponding adduct's ee value is 44%).

Asymmetric Michael-type Friedel–Crafts (F–C) alkylations of indoles with nitroolefins catalyzed by a chiral H8-BINOL-based phosphoric acid were investigated. The reactions took place very smoothly in the presence of only 5 mol-% of catalyst at room temperature to afford the desired F–C alkylation products in good yields and with moderate enantioselectivities. To explore the rules of the changes of schistosomiasis infection and Oncomelania snails in areas where schistosomiasis transmission was controlled or interrupted or rebounded after interruption.Qingbaijiang District, Longquanyi District and Xide County were selected and investigated retrospectively to collect schistosomiasis epidemiological information 10 years before they reached the criterion of transmission control and the subsequent years until 2008. The database of retrospective investigation was established for analyzing the trends and rules of changes of snail status and human infection status.In Qingbaijiang District, there was a positive correlation between density of living snails and snail area (r = 0.74, P0.01), and the infection rate of population was declining. In Longquanyi District, the snail area presented a declining trend. In Xide County, the human infection rate was positively correlated with snail area (R = 0.53, P0.01) and the density of living snails (r = 0.42, P0.05) respectively.The rebound of snail situation is always prior to the emerging of human infection, and it prompts that the rebound of snail situation can be considered one of the important indicators of early warning of the rebound of human infection situation in those places where schistosomiasis transmission was controlled or interrupted. Implementing comprehensive control of the snail habitat, as well as eliminating the potential infectious source is an important measure to consolidate the achievement of schistosomiasis control.

To investigate the influence of integrin beta1 on the proliferation and differentiation of human keratinocyte stem cells (KSCs).DNA oligonucleotides targeting integrin beta1 at different locations were synthesized and inserted into BamHI-1 HindIII linearized p Silencer 3.1/H1 plasmids. The inserted sequences were verified by DNA sequencing. The KSCs were divided into control (without transfection), T1 (with transfection of vacant vector), T2 (with transfection of si integrin beta(1-1) vector), T3 (with transfection of si integrin beta(1-1) vector), and T4 (with transfection of si Negative vector) groups. The change in the expression of integrin beta1, was determined with Western blotting. The positive vector with the highest expression of integrin beta1 was selected and named as integrin beta1, and semi-quantitative RT-PCR was employed to detect the change in the expression of integrin beta1 mRNA.The protein expression of integrin beta1, was not suppressed in control and T1 group, but it was suppressed in T2 and T3 groups, especially in T3 group (the suppression rate was 60%-70%, which was named si integrin beta1). The expression of integrin beta1 mRNA was obviously decreased by integrin beta1, transfection (the suppression rate was 70%).The expression of integrin beta1, mRNA and protein could be down-regulated with recombinant si integrin P, vector transfection.
