Abstract Mesenchymal Stem Cells are ideal seed cells for tissue repair and cell therapy and have promising applications in regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. Using Platelet-Rich Plasma as an adjuvant to create and improve the microenvironment for Mesenchymal Stem Cells growth can enhance the biological properties of Mesenchymal Stem Cells and improve the efficacy of cell therapy. However, the mechanism by which Platelet-Rich Plasma improves the biological performance of Mesenchymal Stem Cells is still unknown. In this study, by examining the effects of Platelet-Rich Plasma on the biological performance of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, combined with multiomics analysis (Transcriptomics, Proteomics and Metabolomics) and related tests, we analyzed the specific pathways, related mechanisms and metabolic pathways of Platelet-Rich Plasma to improve the biological performance of Mesenchymal Stem Cells. In an in vitro cell culture system, the biological performance of Mesenchymal Stem Cells was significantly improved after replacing Foetal Bovine Serum with Platelet-Rich Plasma, and the genes (ESM1, PDGFB, CLEC7A, CCR1 and ITGA6 et al.) related to cell proliferation, adhesion, growth, migration and signal transduction were significantly upregulated. Platelet-Rich Plasma can enhance the secretion function of MSC exosomes, significantly upregulate many proteins related to tissue repair, immune regulation and anti-infection, and enhance the repair effect of exosomes on skin injury. After replacing Foetal Bovine Serum with Platelet-Rich Plasma, Mesenchymal Stem Cells underwent metabolic reprogramming, the metabolism of amino acids and fatty acids and various signaling pathways were changed, the anabolic pathways of various proteins were enhanced. These results provide a theoretical and technical reference for optimizing the Mesenchymal Stem Cells culture system, improving the biological characteristics and clinical application effects of Mesenchymal Stem Cells.

Abstract Employee scheduling aims to assign employees to shifts to satisfy daily workload and constraints. Some employee scheduling problems and their variants have been proven NP-hard, and a series of works have been done. However, the existing algorithms consider the fixed work time, which may cause plenty of overstaffing and understaffing phenomenons. Hence, this paper proposes a fast-flexible strategy based approach (FFS) to solve it. FFS introduces the idea of soft work time, which allows the work time of employees can be adjusted in a range. Based on this, we set the flextime strategy to decide the specific work time of each employee every day. Besides, FFS adopts a pairwise-allocated strategy and proficiency average matrix to boost its efficiency and effectiveness. Finally, the extensive experimental evaluation shows that FFS is more effective and efficient than the baselines for solving the employee scheduling problem considering soft work time.

Abstract Broadband spectral photoresponse has shown bright prospects for various optoelectronic devices, while fulfilling high photoactivity beyond the material bandgap is a great challenge. Here, we present a molecular pyroelectric, N-isopropylbenzylaminium trifluoroacetate (N-IBATFA), of which the broadband photo-pyroelectric effects allow for self-driven wide spectral photodetection. As a simple organic binary salt, N-IBATFA possesses a large polarization (~9.5 μC cm−2), high pyroelectric coefficient (~6.9 μC cm−2 K−1) and figures-of-merits (F V = 187.9 × 10−2 cm2 μC−1; F D = 881.5 × 10−5 Pa−0.5) comparable to the state-of-art pyroelectric materials. Particularly, such intriguing attributes endow broadband photo-pyroelectric effect, namely, transient currents covering ultraviolet (UV, 266 nm) to near-infrared (NIR, 1950 nm) spectral regime, which breaks the restriction of its optical absorption and thus allows wide UV-NIR spectral photodetection. Our finding highlights the potential of molecular system as high-performance candidates toward self-powered wide spectral photodetection.

The soil NO3− concentration and N2O emissions plays a crucial role in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing greenhouse soil degradation concurrently. However, it is essential to understand the extent to which management practices and environmental factors influence the reduction in NO3− concentration and N2O emissions in greenhouse soils. Here, we conducted a meta-analysis, compiling a database of NO3− concentration and N2O emissions in response to either nitrogen or irrigation management in greenhouse vegetable-based systems in China. In summary, controlling the amount of total nitrogen application and irrigation water within specific ranges can effectively reduce both the greenhouse NO3− concentration and N2O emissions. Compared to chemical nitrogen management, the application of slow-release fertilizer could concurrently reduce the soil NO3− concentration and N2O emissions by 0.20 and 0.36 times, respectively. Positive relationships were observed between soil NO3− concentration and N2O emissions under conditions of higher soil organic carbon (OC), total nitrogen (TN), alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen (AN), and pH, as well as a lower soil temperature (ST) and bulk weight (BW). Under conditions with a higher OC and pH, an appropriate nitrogen application rate is more effective in reducing N2O emissions. While increasing irrigation can reduce soil NO3− concentrations, it also raises the risk of significant NO3− leaching. Overall, nitrogen and irrigation management should be tailored to local soil physicochemical properties to concurrently regulate soil NO3− concentrations and N2O emissions in greenhouse environments.

Thin-walled bearings are widely used owing to the advantages of their light structure, high hardness, and strong load-carrying capacity. However, thin-walled bearings are often prone to deformation during the machining process, which can seriously affect the performance of the bearings. In addition, the machining deformation and quality of bearings are difficult to balance. To address the above issues, this paper investigates the effects of the machining parameters on the machining deformation, surface quality, and machining efficiency of a thin-walled bearing during the roughing stage. The dynamic balance between deformation inhibition and high quality in rough grinding was studied, and the optimal parameters for thin-walled bearing outer ring grinding were obtained. The deformation mechanism of thin-walled bearings caused by grinding was revealed through simulation and experimental analysis. The results show that the machining deformation and quality reach a balance when the workpiece speed is 55 r/min, the grinding wheel rotational speed is 2000 r/min, and the feed rate is 0.1 mm/min. Deformation increases with the increase in workpiece speed and grinding wheel speed. At the same time, the surface roughness increases with the increase in the workpiece speed, but the increase in the wheel speed will improve the surface roughness. As the workpiece speed increases, the surface topography shows a more pronounced stockpile of material, which is ameliorated by an increase in grinding wheel speed. As the rotational speed of the workpiece increases, the number of abrasive grains involved in the process per unit of time decreases, and the surface removal of the workpiece is less effective, while the increase in the rotational speed of the grinding wheel has the opposite effect. The grinding deformation of thin-walled bearings is mainly induced by machining heat and stress. As the rotational speed increases, the heat flux in the grinding zone increases. More heat flux flows into the surface of the workpiece, causing an increase in thermal stresses on the inner surface of the bearing collar, leading to greater deformation. The temperature in the grinding area can be reduced during machining, realizing a reduction in deformation. The research content contributes to the balance between high quality and low distortion in machining processes.

Abstract Halide double perovskites have recently emerged as an environmentally green candidate toward electronic and optoelectronic applications owing to their non-toxicity and versatile physical merits, whereas study on high-temperature antiferroelectric (AFE) with excellent anti-breakdown property remains a huge blank in this booming family. Herein, we present the first high-temperature AFE of the lead-free halide double perovskites, (CHMA)2CsAgBiBr7 (1, where CHMA+ is cyclohexylmethylammonium), by incorporating a flexible organic spacer cation. The typical double P-E hysteresis loops and J-E curves reveal its concrete high-temperature AFE behaviors, giving large polarizations of ~4.2 μC/cm2 and a high Curie temperature of 378 K. Such merits are on the highest level of molecular AFE materials. Particularly, the dynamic motional ordering of CHMA+ cation contributes to the formation of antipolar alignment and high electric breakdown field strength up to ~205 kV/cm with fatigue endurance over 104 cycles, almost outperforming the vast majority of molecule counterparts. This is the first demonstration of high-temperature AFE properties in the halide double perovskites, which will promote the exploration of new “green” candidates for anti-breakdown energy storage capacitor.

In this investigation, we leverage the combination of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) Legacy Imaging Surveys Data Release 9, Survey Validation 3, and Year 1 data sets to estimate the conditional luminosity functions and conditional stellar mass functions (CLFs and CSMFs) of galaxies across various halo mass bins and redshift ranges. To support our analysis, we utilize a realistic DESI mock galaxy redshift survey (MGRS) generated from a high-resolution Jiutian simulation. An extended halo-based group finder is applied to both MGRS catalogs and DESI observation. By comparing the r - and z -band luminosity functions (LFs) and stellar mass functions (SMFs) derived using both photometric and spectroscopic data, we quantified the impact of photometric redshift (photo- z ) errors on the galaxy LFs and SMFs, especially in the low-redshift bin at the low-luminosity/mass end. By conducting prior evaluations of the group finder using MGRS, we successfully obtain a set of CLF and CSMF measurements from observational data. We find that at low redshift, the faint-end slopes of CLFs and CSMFs below ∼10 ^9 h ^−2 L _⊙ (or h ^−2 M _⊙ ) evince a compelling concordance with the subhalo mass functions. After correcting the cosmic variance effect of our local Universe following Chen et al., the faint-end slopes of the LFs/SMFs turn out to also be in good agreement with the slope of the halo mass function.

We report a ∼5.2 σ detection of the kinetic Sunyaev–Zel’dovich (kSZ) effect in Fourier space, by combining the DESI galaxy groups and the Planck data. We use the density-weighted pairwise kSZ power spectrum as the summary statistic, and the detailed procedure of its measurement is presented in this paper. Meanwhile, we analyze the redshift space group density power spectrum to constrain its bias parameters and photo- z uncertainties. These best-fitted parameters are substituted to a nonlinear kSZ model, and we fit the measured kSZ power spectrum with this model to constrain the group optical depth $\bar{\tau }$ . Selected by a varying lower mass threshold M _th , the galaxy group catalogs with different median masses ( $\tilde{M}$ ) are constructed from the Data Release 9 data of the DESI Legacy Imaging Surveys. $\tilde{M}$ spans a wide range of ∼10 ^13 –10 ^14 M _⊙ / h and the heaviest $\tilde{M}\sim {10}^{14}\ {M}_{\odot }/h$ is larger than those of most other kSZ detections. When the aperture photometric filter radius θ _AP is set to be 4.′2, the $\tilde{M}=1.75\times {10}^{13}\ {M}_{\odot }/h$ group sample at the median redshift $\tilde{z}=0.64$ has the highest kSZ detection signal-to-noise ratio = 5.2. By fitting $\bar{\tau }{\rm{s}}$ from various samples against their $\tilde{M}$ s, we obtain a linear $\mathrm{log}\bar{\tau }-\mathrm{log}\tilde{M}$ relation: $\mathrm{log}\bar{\tau }=\gamma (\mathrm{log}\tilde{M}-14)+\mathrm{log}\beta $ , in which γ = 0.55 ± 0.1. We also vary the aperture photometric filter radius and measure the $\bar{\tau }$ profiles of group samples, whose constraints on the baryon distribution within and around dark matter halos will be discussed in a companion paper.

Abstract The photopyroelectric effect in ferroelectrics has shown great potential for application in infrared detection and imaging. One particular subclass is broadband with dielectric bistability, which allows for large pyroelectric figures‐of‐merit (FOMs). Herein, an improper high‐Tc perovskite ferroelectric, (IA)2(EA)2Pb3Cl10 (1, where IA is isoamylammonium and EA is ethylammonium) is presented, in which spontaneous polarization (Ps) stems from the dynamic ordering of organic cations and the tilting of distorted PbCl6 octahedra. Notably, 1 displays unusual dielectric bistability with small variations in the temperature‐dependent dielectric constants near Tc = 392 K; this bistable attribute endows large pyroelectric FOMs with peak voltage efficiency (FV = 1.7×10−2 cm2 µC−1) and sensitivity (FD = 3.9×10−4 Pa−1/2). These FV and FD parameters, beyond those of their proper counterparts, make 1 a promising candidate for infrared photodetection. As expected, the broadband photopyroelectric effects observed in 1 covered the ultraviolet to infrared‐II spectral region (266–1950 nm). Such Ps‐directed photoactivities overcome the optical bandgap limitation and allow for wide‐wave photodetection. As an innovative study on improper ferroelectricity, light is shaded here on the targeted engineering of new electrically ordered candidate materials for smart optoelectronic devices.

Molecular ferroic materials receive considerable interest in view of field-induced switchable polar/magnetic orders. Here, the authors exploit metal-free antiferroelectrics in molecular solid solutions to assemble high-performance ferroic materials.

Abstract Background Islet transplantation is an excellent method for the treatment of type I diabetes mellitus. However, due to the limited number of donors, cumbersome isolation and purification procedures, and immune rejection, the clinical application is greatly limited. The development of a simple and efficient new method to obtain islet β-cells is a key problem that urgently requires a solution for the treatment of type I diabetes mellitus. Methods In this study, Pbx1, Rfx3, Pdx1, Ngn3, Pax4 and MafA were used to form a six-gene combination to efficiently reprogram aMSCs (adipose mesenchymal stem cells) into ra-βCs (reprogrammed aMSCs-derived islet β-cells), and the characteristics and immunogenicity of ra-βCs were detected. Feasibility of ra-βCs transplantation for the treatment of diabetes mellitus in model dogs and clinical dogs was detected. Results In this study, aMSCs were efficiently reprogrammed into ra-βCs using a six-gene combination. The ra-βCs showed islet β-cell characteristics. The immunogenicity of ra-βCs was detected and remained low in vitro and increased after transplantation. The cotransplantation of ra-βCs and aMSCs in the treatment of a model and clinical cases of canine diabetes mellitus achieved ideal therapeutic effects. Conclusions The aMSCs were efficiently reprogrammed into ra-βCs using a six-gene combination. The cotransplantation of ra-βCs and aMSCs as a treatment for canine diabetes is feasible, which provides a theoretical basis and therapeutic method for the treatment of canine diabetes.

Frosting behavior and dynamic defrosting characteristics of horizontally oriented hybrid surfaces with heterogeneous wettability were experimentally investigated. The developed hybrid surfaces with superhydrophobic patterns built on superhydrophilic background integrated the properties of frost retardation under frosting conditions and fast surface cleaning of residual water upon defrosting. Four types of hybrid surfaces with different pattern spacings were tested in this work. Hybrid surfaces exhibited superior anti-frosting performance compared with that of a bare copper surface but lower than a complete superhydrophobic surface. During defrosting process, surface energy gradient and Laplace pressure gradient enabled by heterogeneous wettability on hybrid surfaces could drive the mobile slush composites on superhydrophobic regions move to superhydrophilic areas to achieve quick cleaning even in the absence of gravity force. The proportion of surface clean time of one full cycle duration on hybrid surfaces was as low as 32.2%–41.5%. Compared to complete superhydrophobic and bare copper surfaces, hybrid surfaces exhibited a significant enhancement on defrost efficiency due to larger three phase contact line length on evaporation-mediated surface cleaning performance, especially the SSH-3 surface, achieving the largest defrost efficiency within the present frost mass range.

Abstract Ferroelectricity, characterized by the reversible switching of spontaneous polarization (Ps) under external electric field, exists in polar crystalline materials without a spatial‐inversion symmetry. On account of inherent Ps, ferroelectric materials show intriguing physical properties including piezoelectricity, pyroelectricity, second‐order optical nonlinearity, and electro‐optic effect. Such functions of ferroelectric materials have been widely used for practical applications. Recently, hybrid perovskites are emerging as a promising ferroelectric family that enables the combination and/or coupling of ferroelectricity, photoexcitation, and semiconductor behaviors. Due to the polarization deterioration caused by leakage current of photoexcited carriers, however, it is still a challenge to accomplish practical applications of ferroelectric semiconductors in the photoelectric field. In this review, the recent progress of ferroelectric system of perovskite‐type hybrids with different dimensions is summarized. Primarily, a brief description of crystallographic symmetry breaking which is a fundamental criterion to creating ferroelectricity, is illuminated. The combination and/or coupling of photoelectric properties with ferroelectric Ps is then presented. Finally, the further development tendency and possible application outlooks of this ferroelectric material system are prospected.

The global coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV) has led to a huge health and economic crises. However, the research required to develop new drugs and vaccines is very expensive in terms of labor, money, and time. Owing to recent advances in data science, drug-repositioning technologies have become one of the most promising strategies available for developing effective treatment options. Using the previously reported human drug virus database (HDVD), we proposed a model to predict possible drug regimens based on a weighted reconstruction-based linear label propagation algorithm (WLLP). For the drug–virus association matrix, we used the weighted K-nearest known neighbors method for preprocessing and label propagation of the network based on the linear neighborhood similarity of drugs and viruses to obtain the final prediction results. In the framework of 10 times 10-fold cross-validated area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC), WLLP exhibited excellent performance with an AUC of 0.8828 ± 0.0037 and an area under the precision-recall curve of 0.5277 ± 0.0053, outperforming the other four models used for comparison. We also predicted effective drug regimens against SARS-CoV-2, and this case study showed that WLLP can be used to suggest potential drugs for the treatment of COVID-19.

Carbohydrates serve as important energy sources and structural substances for human body as well as for gut microbes. As evidenced by the advances in immunometabolism, glucose metabolism and adenosine triphosphate (ATP) generation are deeply involved in immune cell activation, proliferation, and signaling transduction as well as trafficking and effector functions, thus contributing to immune response programming and assisting in host adaption to microenvironment changes. Increased glucose uptake, aberrant expression of glucose transporter 1 (e.g., GLU1), and abnormal glycosylation patterns have been identified in autoimmunity and are suggested as partially responsible for the dysregulated immune response and the modification of gut microbiome composition in the autoimmune pathogenesis. The interaction between gut microbiota and host carbohydrate metabolism is complex and bidirectional. Their impact on host immune homeostasis and the development of autoimmune diseases remains to be elucidated. This review summarized the current knowledge on the crosstalk of glucose metabolism and glycosylation in the host with intestinal microbiota and discussed their possible role in the development and progression of autoimmune diseases. Potential therapeutic strategies targeting glucose metabolism and glycosylation in modulating gut ecosystem and treating autoimmune diseases were discussed as well.

Emotion recognition in multi-party conversations (ERMC) is becoming increasingly popular as an emerging research topic in natural language processing. Recently, many approaches have been devoted to exploiting inter-dependency and self-dependency among participants. However, these approaches remain inadequate in terms of inter-dependency due to the fact that the effects among speakers are not individually captured. In this paper, we design two hypergraphs to deal with inter-dependency and self-dependency, respectively. To this end, we design a multi-hypergraph neural network for ERMC. In particular, we combine average aggregation and attention aggregation to generate hyperedge features, which can allow utterance information to be better utilized. The experimental results show that our method outperforms multiple baselines, indicating that further exploitation of inter-dependency is of great value for ERMC. In addition, we also achieved good results on the emotional shift issue.

Microsporum canis, a common pathogenic skin fungus, can cause dermatophytosis in humans and animals. Zinc is an important trace element and plays an important role in the growth and metabolism of fungi. Currently, the effects of zinc deficiency on growth, gene expression, and metabolic pathway have not been clarified in M. canis. Therefore, M. canis was cultured under zinc restriction, and RNA-Seq was conducted in this study. The growth of M. canis was severely inhibited, and many genes showed significant upregulation and downregulation in M. canis with zinc deficiency. Zinc deficiency could negatively affect the gene expression and biological metabolic pathway in M. canis. The zinc-responsiveness transcriptional activator (ZafA) gene was significantly upregulated and shared homology with Zap1. Thus, the ZafA gene might be the main transcription factor regulating M. canis zinc homeostasis. The ZafA gene knockout strain, ZafA-hph, was constructed via Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation (ATMT) in M. canis for the first time to assess its function. In vitro growth ability, hair biodegradation ability, virulence test, and zinc absorption capacity in ZafA-hph and wild-type M. canis strains were compared. Results showed that the ZafA gene plays an important role in zinc absorption, expression of zinc transporter genes, and growth and pathogenicity in M. canis and can be used as a new drug target. Cutting off the zinc absorption pathway can be used as a way to prevent and control infection in M. canis.

To develop antiferroelectric based dielectric capacitors with superior energy storage capacity, antiferroelectric materials must possess simultaneously large recoverable energy density and high energy efficiency. With this motivation, in this work, we design and prepare Pb0.97La0.02(Zr0.50Sn0.43Ti0.07)O3 antiferroelectric ceramics with high Sn content considering that Sn element can narrow the electric hysteresis loops and thus improve the energy density and efficiency. The experiment results indicate that a large room-temperature recoverable energy density of 3.47 J/cm3 and a high energy efficiency of 78% are realized simultaneously in this kind of ceramic. Besides, in the wide temperature range of 20–120 °C, the recoverable energy density and the energy efficiency both show superior temperature stability. The large recoverable energy density and high energy efficiency in a wide temperature range demonstrate that the Pb0.97La0.02(Zr0.50Sn0.43Ti0.07)O3 antiferroelectric ceramic is a good candidate for preparing pulse power capacitors usable in various conditions. Global alpine ecosystems contain a large amount of carbon, which is sensitive to global change. Changes to alpine carbon sources and sinks have implications for carbon and climate feedback processes. To date, few studies have quantified the spatial-temporal variations in ecosystem carbon storage and its response to global change in the alpine regions of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (QTP). Ecosystem carbon storage in the northeastern QTP between 2001 and 2019 was simulated and systematically analyzed using the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs (InVEST) model. Furthermore, the Hurst exponent was obtained and used as an input to perform an analysis of the future dynamic consistency of ecosystem carbon storage. Our study results demonstrated that: (1) regression between the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and biomass (coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.974, p < 0.001), and between NDVI and soil organic carbon density (SOCD) (R2 = 0.810, p < 0.001) were valid; (2) the spatial distribution of ecosystem carbon storage decreased from the southeast to the northwest; (3) ecosystem carbon storage increased by 13.69% between 2001 and 2019, and the significant increases mainly occurred in the low-altitude regions; (4) climate and land use (LULC) changes caused increases in ecosystem carbon storage of 4.39 Tg C and 2.25 Tg C from 2001 to 2019, respectively; and (5) the future trend of ecosystem carbon storage in 92.73% of the study area shows high inconsistency but that in 7.27% was consistent. This study reveals that climate and LULC changes have positive effects on ecosystem carbon storage in the alpine regions of the QTP, which will provide valuable information for the formulation of eco-environmental policies and sustainable development.

Water yield is a key ecosystem function index, directly impacting the sustainable development of the basin economy and ecosystem. Climate and land use/land cover (LULC) changes are the main driving factors affecting water yield. In the context of global climate change, assessing the impacts of climate and LULC changes on water yield in the alpine regions of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau (QTP) is essential for formulating rational management and development strategies for water resources. On the basis of the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs (InVEST) model, we simulated and analyzed the spatiotemporal variations and the impacts of LULC and climate changes on water yield from 2001 to 2019 in the upstream regions of the Shule River Basin (USRB) on the northeastern margin of the QTP. Three scenarios were designed in the InVEST model to clearly analyze the contributions of climate and LULC changes on the variation of water yield. The first scenario integrated climate and LULC change into the model according to the actual conditions. The second scenario was simulation without LULC change, and the third scenario was without climate change. The results showed that (1) the InVEST model had a good performance in estimating water yield (coefficient of determination (R2) = 0.986; root mean square error (RMSE) = 3.012, p < 0.05); (2) the water yield significantly increased in the temporal scale from 2001 to 2019, especially in the high altitude of the marginal regions (accounting for 32.01%), while the northwest regions significantly decreased and accounted for only 8.39% (p < 0.05); (3) the spatial distribution of water yield increased from the middle low-altitude regions to the marginal high-altitude regions; and (4) through the analysis of the three scenarios, the impact of climate change on water yield was 90.56%, while that of LULC change was only 9.44%. This study reveals that climate warming has a positive impact on water yield, which will provide valuable references for the integrated assessment and management of water resources in the Shule River Basin.

Circularly polarized light (CPL) detection has sparked the booming interest for versatile chiral-optoelectronic and spintronic devices. For practical device applications, a large asymmetry factor is required to distinguish the handedness of incent light. However, for most chiral CPL active candidates, the difference in optical density or absorption anisotropy is quite subtle under CPL illumination, resulting in a relatively low asymmetry factor (usually ≤ 0.2). Up to date, it remains extremely challenging to achieve CPL response in the achiral crystals. Inch-size achiral perovskite-type crystals of (IBA)2(EA)2Pb3I10 (IBA = 4-isopropylbenzylammonium, EA = ethylammonium), which holds a promise to distinguish CPL with a large asymmetry factor up to ≈0.56 at 405 nm is presented here. This figure-of-merit is comparable or even superior than most of those chiral counterparts. Further First-principles calculations disclose such CPL-active behaviors of (IBA)2(EA)2Pb3I10 are associated with the splitting of its band spin-degeneracy, induced by the breaking of inversion symmetry and spin-orbital coupling (SOC) effects. As far as it is known, the structural origin of CPL-activities of (IBA)2(EA)2Pb3I10 is completely distinctive from the conventional chiral family, which paves a promising pathway to explore new candidates toward high-performance CPL detection.
