With this study, the correlation of TQM components with the organization performance have been examined individually in order to understand the effects of the executives, employee, customers and processes on the business performance at the TQM. The correlation of TQM with the business performance was analysed by means of data based on conducting a questionnaire. According to regression analysis results which was carried out to present the performance features of organizations concerning TQM criteria (education, leadership, continuous improvement, internal customer and external customer), it was observed that the criteria related with leadership and education have a stronger correlation with the performance. Accordingly organizations should give the necessary education and training about the quality to their employees and support the improvement under the leadership of the top management. 2nd Global Conference on Business, Economics and Management and Tourism (BEMTUR) -- OCT 29-31, 2014 -- Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC, WOS: 000360103600200, This study aims to determine the corporate social responsibility (CSR) perception of tourism students about the hotels that they are planning to work at in future and the effect of this perception on their intention to work in tourism sector. A questionnaire form is used as a tool in order to gather data which is developed by Carroll (1991) and adopted to Turkish by Caliskan and Unusan (2011). A four dimensional (economic, legal, ethical and philanthrophic dimensions) model of corporate social responsibility perception is used on questionnaire. Also a scale which developed by Kusluvan and Kusluvan (2000) is used for measuring the intention to work in sector. The study is conducted with data which is gathered from a total of 565 students who continue their bachelor and associate degrees in universities in Eskisehir. According to the correlation analysis which is conducted in order to determine the relationship between the students' CSR perception and their intention to work in sector, there is a significant and positive relationship between students' intention to work in sector and the subdimensions of CSR which are ethical responsibilities, legal responsibilities, economical responsibilities and philanthrophic. On the other hand, regression analysis results indicate that corporate social responsibility perception has an effect on intention to work in sector (r=,186) and 3,3% of intention to work in sector could be explained through corporate social responsibility perception.

The crisis caused an immense instability in markets and gradually became global. Effects of this crisis upon some countries were deeper and more destroying. Greece is one of these countries. It is seen that Greece has an economic structure consisting of high debt level, high budget deficit, low competitive power and unstable political structure. At the end of 2009, the political and economic crisis in Greece, which began as a debt crisis, turned out to be a Euro Zone crisis. In this context, this study seeks to examine effects of incorrect economic and political decisions, and dishonest statements about their results on the progress of the crisis and on Greece economy and to propose solutions. The aim of this study is to show that career selection can be carried out via MCDM methods and to compare ordering results of these methods. In this study, a survey is administered to a university students. In application, eight professions are comparatively ranked via some MCDM methods. According to Spearman rank correlation coefficients, multi criteria grading model and PROMETHEE ordering results are almost same also in terms of differing demographical properties, but VIKOR is changing when regret weight changes (C) 2015 The Authors. In the period of 20002009, to remove obstacles on the trade, most of the MENA countries have pursued the trade liberalization policy which consists of free trade agreements and WTO membership. This study employs on panel gravity model to examine the effect of trade liberalization policy on the export of 13 MENA countries to 30 Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) trading partners. By using alternative estimators to take the zero trade problem and endogeneity problem into account, this study finds that whereas WTO membership negatively affects the export of MENA countries, free trade agreements have a positive impact on the export of those countries. The instrument used to collect data is questionnaire and the samples consist of 91 hotels. As findings, it was revealed that seasonal hotels, compared to permanent hotels, got more benefits and performance, yet the risks experienced by both hotels were not different. Besides, while animation, sauna and fitness, technical maintenance, banquet, laundry and room cleaning are the departments outsourced most widely in seasonal hotels; fumigation, laundry, technical maintenance, security, room cleaning and banquet are the departments outsourced most widely in permanent hotels. Today, administrative participation applications such as participatory democracy and city councils as one of the most basic values of local governments realized on a local level hold great importance with respect to the fact that both fellow countrymen are actively involved in administrative process. This study as well, will help to understand how successfully city councils in Turkey have developed in terms of participatory democracy and to acquire concrete results in terms of testing theory-practice contention. To achieve this, present data (directives, meeting decisions, internet sites, etc.) related to corporate structure and function of Kirsehir and Yozgat City Councils have been utilized. Findings acquired within this scope indicate that Kirsehir City Council is more successful in terms of both structure and functioning and participatory democracy applications. Stages of investment development path theory emerge as a dynamic approach to Vernon's "product cycle theory" and Dunnings' "eclectic paradigm". Although, there exist very valuable studies to test IDP hypothesis, there is no agreed method in the literature. GDP is used as the absolute indicator of development in econometric models used by many studies. We accept that countries that have identical GDP level may not be at the same development level, it is decided that using multivariate statistical techniques will give much more rational results to test IDP hypothesis. For that purpose, emerged from oriented theoretical and empirical literature, variables are decided from the determinant of foreign direct investment researches. Those variables are studied in 4 periods of (1980-1989), (1990-1999), (2000-2005), and (1980-2005). Cluster Analysis, grouping resemble individual and objects in the same cluster, is implemented according to predetermined choice criteria. Then, the countries displaying similar features take place in the same cluster. At the same time, statistical significance of partition of sets examined by Discriminant Analysis. It can be said that, this strategy is an operational regime so as to increase the performance of monetary policy and gained a placed in the economy policies of countries due to its good performance till today. The main aim of this strategy is first to reduce inflation at low levels and then take under the control at these levels. It is agreed that unless the target variations (or target range) occurred depending upon economic fluctuations are permanent, they do not create any negative effects on the success of approach. However, this strategy has been questioned caused by the process in crisis. This paper examines growth rates (GDP) in developed and developing countries that is implement of inflation targeting strategy show how a change in the period before and after the crisis (2005-2011). In addition, also inflation performance of those countries has been taken into account for he same period in this review. Beside timber production, there are some plants prefer shaded conditions which required management practices. When considering farming in forested lands, some animals and plants are feasible in the available resources of forests. The coastal of Black Sea Region runs from Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, and Turkey. The sea is very abundant for fish catches and providing important feeding areas for commercially important species. The region is very important for wildlife of animals. For example, raptors, pelicans, storks' waders are some kind of birds in the area. Forests are very important for timber production. Naturally, the region is famous with 79 animal species and six plant species. The Black Sea Region is one of Turkey's geographical regions. The available resources are feasible for high value forest corps beside the sea products and tourism. The aim or this study is to presents some examples of forest farming in the Black Sea Region of Turkey. However, there is no evidence that managerial resourcefulness increase job performance. In this study, we examined the relationship between managerial resourcefulness and job performance in a sample 119 first-line and middle managers. Data was collected through structured surveys administered to the managers and their superiors. The results indicated that managerial resourcefulness is positively associated with the superior ratings of job performance. The findings also showed that managerial resourcefulness explains additional variance in job performance over and above that of demographic variables and the Big Five traits of personality. These findings suggest the importance of managerial resourcefulness as a critical predictor of job performance. Implications for future research and practice are discussed. (C) The Authors. 2nd World Conference on Business, Economics and Management (BEM) -- APR 25-28, 2013 -- -- Antalya, TURKEY, WOS: 000335570200011, In our study pointing out how the quality management and knowledge management have been incorporated into each other the development of the quality culture within the organization and what kind of value has emerged through the analysis on the relationship between quality management and knowledge management, the performances of the enterprises carrying on business in Eskisehir and implementing the quality management were measured. Questionnaires were conducted to the directors of the quality management departments so as to measure the relationship between the quality management and knowledge management by means of 15 hypotheses developed. As a result of the analysis, it was discovered at statistical significance that the enterprises having the Total Quality Management and ISO 9000 certificates are better in the fields of degree of knowledge obtained from the customer (C), participation of employees in dissemination of knowledge (K), the quality process (QP), the quality culture (QC) and the quality performance (QPer) than those not having the mentioned certificates.
