- Abstract
The article aims to offer a reflection on the need for an integration between the various theoretical contributions relating to the couple clinic and a proposal for a model of reading and intervention that connects the models emerging from much of the systemic-relational literature. A proposal this to be made available to the clinic and training. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
In this paper, the author addresses the issue of relationship between the organ transplantation and the migratory experience. In the transplant practice the organs “migrate”, prolonging their own existence and at the same time ensuring life to the recipient. The experience of organ transplantation shocks not only the body, but also the sense of Self, and the integration process is very complicated, because the hospitality is inseparable from the intrusion. The alienating experience of transplantation reveals the foreign in our own bodies. The new organ, in fact, is an intensily ambiguous object, that evokes the Freudian concept of Unheimlich. In this contribution the author tries to identify some analytical paths that could favour the psychosomatic integration of transplanted organs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This work starts from the examination of the characteristics of the scientific literature concerning autism disorders and from the analysis of the needs of the autistic subject and his family. It is focuses on the description of an integrated clinical model called Autism Open Clinical Model (A. - O. C. M.). It constitutes the hypothesis of a basic approach with which to face the evaluation and treatment of autism spectrum disorders. The A- O.C.M. represents an open system which, although starting from the integration of three models: applied behavioural analysis, Cognitive-behavioural Therapy and Gestalt Therapy, was designed to be enriched by contributions from other models and settings. It is a clinical model in continuous evolution which therefore constitutes an open system. The aim is to develop a scientific production and clinical practice characterized by a constant and profound work of comparison, integration and dialogue between scholars. It will be highlighted how this aspect, although essential to a scientific discourse, is, however, currently lacking. Therefore, in the light of the state of the art of autism research, the basic structure of the model will be described. Starting from its epistemological premise, principles and characteristics will be defined. Finally, the clinical implications will be investigated.

- Abstract
With greater intensity following the effects produced by the COVID-19 pandemic, mental illnesses, which have always been the last in the economic investments of the Western health care systems, require to be no longer so marginal in national investment programs. The intent of this essay is to offer the reader a broad, albeit not exhaustive, picture of the role that mental health plays in European planning, how psychiatric care has evolved in Italy, and which are the main knots still to be resolved for the issue of mental health to come out of the corner in which it has always been unfortunately confined. - Abstract
In Italy, diagnoses during developmental age are increasing; some literature considers this phenomenon a step forward towards inclusion, while others raise doubts about its usefulness. Through six intervention cases, the article aims to study the affective symbolisations which accompany the diagnosis in developmental age across different contexts. This has important implications for clinical psychological intervention, as the psychologist can gather information about the intervention context from the diagnosis, the way it was produced, and how it is handled. In the first two experiences, professionals work in the school setting with diagnosed children and adolescents, encountering intense power conflicts between the school and families around the diagnosis. In the following two cases, the focus is on the teachers' perspective, grappling with the issue of managing variability within class groups, which the diagnosis does not resolve. In the final two experiences, professionals work within services external to the school, starting from a collusive failure between the school and families of children with adaptation problems to school life. The transformation that Italian society has undergone in recent decades because of immigration poses significant challenges to schools, primarily in developing effective strategies to teach Italian to pupils with a migrant background. Additionally, as a consequence of recent advances in neuroscience, the concept of translanguaging has emerged, which advocates the deliberate integration of languages in the classroom in order to harness the full linguistic potential of bilingual children. Research has demonstrated that translanguaging strategies can facilitate language learning and conceptual transfer from L1 to L2. Consequently, it is important to implement methodologies that enhance and support the development of a multilingual repertoire, with a view to the inclusion and education of future citizens.

- Abstract
This work presents some insights derived from a four-session analysis with a young man. Through clinical observations and theoretical considerations, the author sheds light on the intricate processes that unfold on the path towards integration and psychological growth. The contribution delves into clinical experiences and theoretical inquiries centered around the early phases of psychic development, which profoundly shape one’s sense of self. A notable emphasis is placed on the primal communicative bond between mother and newborn, rooted in the melodic tones of the maternal language and the harmonious exchange that emerges in the initial interactions. As the reader navigates through the narrative, he/she encounter various themes: the challenges of integration, the anxieties of non-integration, the internal dynamics revolving around Oedipal issues, the interplay of aggressive and sexual impulses, and the intricate complexities of transference and countertransference. Ultimately, the author raises thought-provoking questions about the analyst’s role in tolerating and facilitating the process of psychic elaboration as the analysis nears its conclusion. 13.

Peresso, Patrizia
- Abstract
This paper will focus on what the author calls the "green factor": the plant world's ability to foster profound healing and self-healing processes. This factor could be considered an element capable of promoting the analytic couple's journey in individuation through a "good enough rhythmical interaction". Such interaction is made possible by creating and maintaining, in therapy, a good level of empathy, mirroring and resonance that -- echoing natural cyclical rhythms primarily in nonverbal communication -- fosters the passage from dissociation to integration. This dynamic depends mainly on paying constant attention to the various kinds of images referring to nature (both inside and outside ourselves), i.e. attention on the "green world" that reconnects us with the wider ecosystem of which we human beings form a part. The author suggests that remembering and respecting the profound relationship between Mind and Earth or Psyche and Gaia means developing and cultivating an ecological attitude or eco-oriented epistemology, a theory according to which, individual wellbeing can be considered a fragment of the health of our planet, in the same way as the individual anima is a spark of anima mundi. This theory has been embraced by numerous scholars ranging from Jung to Bateson, Mancuso and Schore. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

HUMAN behavior models , *REFUGEES , *NONCITIZENS , *IMMIGRANTS , *PHILANTHROPISTS - Abstract
Roman policy towards migrants, refugees and foreigners in general, as the more or less legendary tradition of the origins of Rome already reveals, was always characterized by a great openness and indeed by a completely unique ability not only to welcome and integrate foreigners in the civic body (unlike what happened in the Greek world, in which citizens could essentially only be born such), as much as to make them feel fully Roman and proud of it in a short time. All this, however, not for humanitarian reasons, but in a perspective of pragmatic utilitarianism which saw foreigners as a precious resource for demographic strengthening and for the acquisition of new behavioral models, ideas, knowledge, skills and competences to be valorised and exploited. Ravitz, Liza J
- Abstract
The birth of a new sibling can create a state of inner chaos for the first born. Conflict, aggression and regression often occur as the replaced child adjusts to his loss of exclusivity. This paper describes a short analytic sandplay case of a 5-year-old boy manifesting anger and anxiety as the birth of his new sibling approached. Throughout this individuation process, a fluid back and forth movement occurred from regression to progression, and from deintegration to reintegration (Fordham 1988), as he advanced from the regressed Uroboric phase of development, forward to the age-appropriate phase of the Patriarche (Neumann 1990). As he grieved the loss of his exclusive status, Roy worked with his aggressive feelings towards his mother and the new baby, as well as with his feelings of despair. This process developed in the context of a positive maternal transference which allowed for both moments of deep resonance, states of participation mystique, and moments of projected rage and aggression towards the 'abandoning mother'. His work in analysis resulted in an opening of the ego-Self axis, a solidifying of the depressive position, and a movement forward in development. At the end of treatment, an initiatory process into the realm of the 'Father' was activated. Roy's symptoms had diminished and he was ready to leave the regressive pull of the Great Mother and move out into the world of peers, with a strengthened ego and an expanded sense of self. Thirty years after L. 104/1992, the recent National Recovery and Resilience Plan is once again talking about a new "Disability Framework Law" which aims to fully implement the principles of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the 2006. During these years, there have been many lexical and conceptual transformations that have consistently changed the horizon of meaning that the first "framework law" had inaugurated. This contribution aims to analyze these transformations, focusing attention on the family environment and on the interaction between this and the other subjects functional to the process of inclusion of the person with disability. This contribution aims at grasping the efforts of inclusion, which have taken place within educational contexts over time, in order to be able to reconstruct a picture of the evolution of educational practices in support of students with disabilities. Starting from a reconstruction of the evolution of the regulatory and cultural framework, which has led the evolution of transformative processes up to the current configuration of inclusive school contexts, we will analyse the perceptions of support teachers in service since 1992, who give its application back in the context of the reference regulatory framework. - Abstract

- Abstract
Durante la condizione incongruente, il con, The human brain consistently maintains a mental and implicit representation of the body over time and space, utilized for processing sensory stimuli and interacting efficiently with the external world. In this context, through sensorimotor contingency and statistical regularities (i.e., the presence of sensory events co-occurring in a specific body part), our brain develops stable mechanisms to process sensory stimuli from the external environment efficiently. However, recent studies suggest that mechanisms used to process bodily sensory information efficiently depend on the sensory experience of our body during development and, simultaneously, can be altered by new configurations of sensorimotor contingencies during interaction with the external environment. To further disentangle this aspect, the present doctoral thesis used a new experimental paradigm developed in virtual reality (VR) to create a spatial mismatch between the body part involved in the motor interaction and the body part that received somatosensory feedback derived from the interaction. During the task, the participant interacted in the virtual environment with a stick controlled by the right hand, and the goal was to move a virtual cube according to the provided instructions (a total of 10 minutes of interaction). Each time the virtual stick touched the cube, the participant received a tactile stimulus. In the congruent condition, the participant received tactile feedback on the right hand. In the incongruent condition, the participant received tactile feedback on the left ankle (contralateral to the hand used for interaction). In separate sessions, the same participants performed the spatial misalignment condition (incongruent condition) or the spatial alignment condition (congruent condition, i.e., control), and the measurements were collected before and after the task. The presented studies aimed to investigate and explore, through psychophysical and neuroimaging techniques, how the human brain

- Abstract

- Abstract
The subject of exile is a ubiquitous global theme. The result of multiple factors, it insinuates itself into events affecting people's daily lives and the development of countries. Beyond politics, a psychological reading enables us to reflect on its impact, not only on the individual or group but also in relation to the exiled family. The concept of a mythical or archetypal family can help us to clarify what emerges from contact between two communities and the challenges in their encounter. The study of a specific case - Portuguese families adjusting to life in a French-speaking region of Switzerland - reveals a pattern reproduced elsewhere, even though separate in time and space. The cultural shock emanating from a background and approach of different dynamics leads to psychological resistance on both sides - and to a negative prognosis for cultural integration. Analytical work with exiled children and adolescents allows us to glimpse how this theme intertwines with personal psychologies, pointing to its creative solution through the resolution of conflict and openness to diversity - as carried forward by new generations. It is they who are open to multicultural values, showing simultaneously a respect for ancestry and a desire for renewal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the last decades, the issue of migration and its management has overlapped with the phenomenon of mountain depopulation Some small towns in Italy have responded in an original way to this double challenge, also through radically innovative projects focused on a possible dialogue among different cultures. The change in the human fabric of the last years involves the evolution of the intangible and therefore cultural heritage, to the point of questioning the concept of tradition as a legacy linked to the territory rather than to people, through original artistic solutions. The present research deals with two areas, Tuscany and Calabria, which are very different in terms of geography, history, and customs, but both equally involved in the recent anthropic changes. In particular, the study focuses on the experience of Borgo San Lorenzo, in Tuscany, where families of asylum seekers with minors in tow have bee hosted. It also focuses on two experiences of welcoming refugees in Camini and Riace, in the province of Reggio Calabria. The essay aims at analysing and comparing the results of these different projects.

Starting from the interpretations of the philosophy of history that have sought a paradigmatic place, capable of representing a nodal point, an umbilical cord between cultures and civilizations, like a reality characterized by crossings and plurality, this article discusses the possibility to build in the contemporary world, characterized by crossings and migrations, a physical and existential, metaphysical and pedagogical perimeter in which to realize the hospitality understood in the manner of Derrida: a destabilizing category that deconstructs the relationship with an atavistic exclusionary nomos.

- Abstract
This article is part of the ongoing debate on the role that the Italian school can have in contemporary society. A deeply changing society in which the relationship between education and the world of work is changing, the constitution of heterogeneous classes from the point of view of cultural origin is increasing and there is an increase in early school leaving. Part of the literature deals with the problem by looking at the school’s ability to integrate diversity often using a diagnostic approach. Diversity in this logic is hardly conceived as a resource, more often understood as a deficit of the individual or the environment, to be corrected. In this article I propose to think about the integration of diversity as an opportunity for the school to rethink the question posed by pupils and families. I will report an intervention conducted in a school wishing to present itself as a place of educational excellence, grappling with the problem of integrating diversity, with particular reference to cultural diversities. From the reporting of the intervention, developed through the theoretical and methodological model of the analysis of the demand, it is possible to detect how dealing with the experiences that organize the school context will allow dealing with the encounter with cultural differences as an opportunity for the development of the school and its customers. In the En - cyclical Brothers All, on several occasions, Pope Francis speaks of full citizenship even for immigrants. To what extent can the theological vision of fraternity help democratic states to review the law on reception and equality among citizens? We need a new reflection on the phenomenon of migration and an opening to the world that cannot be exclusively economic and financial, but above all social, cultural and legal. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper analyzes the exemplar story of Tariq – a minicab driver born in London in a family from Lahore – and his gradual change from “English” to Pakistani, from “western” to Orthodox believer. An existential parable marked by three main phases: the construction, elaboration and reconstruction of events, narrations and memories by Tariq; his detachment, if not rejection, from the “western” integration of his brothers; his idealization of the country of origin and “local” relationships to which is added the religious choice gradually acquired as a whole as a new way of life. All this will be analyzed from a performative and procedural perspective of anthropology.

- Abstract
The article reports intervention concerning integration of disability, carried out during the Covid 19 health emergency by a roman cooperative which operates a service of school integration/ scholar inclusion. School’s closure during lockdowns and distance learning reorganization, enlightened problems concerning the relationship between school, families and disability. Treated as failures of collusion, those problems made it possible to develop a school demand on its goals. All the intervention programs that will be proposed move from a culture’s exploration, which organizes social inclusion of disability, and is founded on promoting competence on coexistence/togetherness, meaning competence to stay within relationships oriented to an objective, which in this case is apprenticeship/ education/learning. In this article, I begin by outlining the qualities and attributes associated with experiences of mana, focusing particularly on the way the term 'mana' was used by C.G. Jung in his published work. I note that Jung associated mana with the accumulation and transfer of psychic energy (libido), with the appearance and appropriation of elemental fire, and by extension, with the metamorphic experience of constellating consciousness. In this context, informed by Jung's accounts and modes of expression, the term mana personality becomes a provisional designation for a recurrent dynamic of archetypal experiential configurations whose telos appears to be the reorientation of consciousness to its origin. - Abstract
This article examines how school staff in two Austrian cities negotiates the intersecting structures of inequality in which 'migrant' pupils are positioned in the context of Austrian education and integration policies. For our analysis, we choose an intersectional approach and conducted in-depth interviews and seven focus groups with school staff. Our results indicate a connection between inclusive forms of intersectionality and a holistic integration approach on the one hand, and a connection between exclusive intersectionality and assimilatory integration approaches on the other. Overall, our results show ambivalences in the framing of intersectionality and integration indicating open-ended negotiations of integration at Austrian schools. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
In the article, we discuss the integration measures related to (primarily newly arrived) migrant children in the Slovenian educational system. On one hand, we examine the existing systemic approach (policy and legislation), and on the other, the experiences, observations and opinions of members of the educational community (teachers, principals and school counsellors). We analyse the application of integration policy guidelines in schools' everyday practice. Presented policy guidelines focused on migrant children's integration are well developed and cover most of the key challenges that must be addressed to successfully tackle challenges related to the integration of migrant children. The problem, however, is that guidelines are not binding and financially supported on a permanent basis. These factors contribute to the success of integration in specific school settings. The autonomy of schools regarding the integration guidelines reveals the crucial importance of personal engagement, intercultural awareness and competences of members of the educational communit y. - Abstract
Based upon the qualitative research among members of the Slovenian educational community, the article discusses the child-centred approach in relation to the education of migrant children in Slovenia with the aim to explore to what extent child-centred perspectives are included in Slovenian educational spheres. The framework for the analysis is Starkey's (2017) three-dimensional understanding of child-centred education that differentiates between agentic, humanist and cognitive dimension. The results show a significant gap between the education policy documents in the field of integration of migrant children and everyday practices in Slovenian schools in r elation to child-centr ed education. - Abstract
The article examines recent public debates on migration and integration in Austria, Denmark, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, and the UK. Shifts in public opinion relate to the 2015 mass migration termed as a crisis, while recent years have seen a substantial move of immigration policy and public debates from proclamations of democratic values towards a recently much harsher approach to immigration and integration. We argue that a gap exists between public opinion, policies, and discourses formulated at the EU and national levels. This gap might indicate that it is not the public opinion which influences public policies but rather the established legal and policy "crisis" frameworks, coupled with media landscapes that considerably affect the majority's perception of immigrants' rights and their pr ospects for integration. Democracy requires that we recover its legal conception, which derives from a natural situation. At its center is the person who constantly needs to be recognized by society, but society, as a space of infinite relationships, must in turn be directed by the superstructure of the State. Young people are the basic cohesive force in encounters between persons and diverse cultures, and their formation ensures the process of democratic and social integration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The development of integration in psychotherapy between theoretical models and clinical practices arose early and was linked to dissatisfaction with theoretical models and the search for common factors. The integration was initially theoretical, seeking a common basis in learning theory and exploration of mental functioning. Then appeared the first examples of transtheoretical integration that explored the therapist's interventions and assimilative integration who wanted to build an eclectic practice. The age of theoretical integration saw attempts to merge psychoanalysis and behaviorism, behaviorism and humanistic approaches, behaviorism and cognitivism (the only success story) and cognitive and psychodynamic models. Transtheoretical integration then prevailed again thanks to new key variables: the therapeutic relationship, the common factors and the contextualist model. The institutionalization of the integrative movement made possible the birth of the Society for the Exploration of Psychotherapy Integration (SEPI). The integration remains a clinically significant movement but it is unlikely to provide a common theoretical basis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
