In this paper, we present four categories of covering-based intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy rough set (CIHFRS) models using intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy β -neighborhoods (IHF β -neighborhoods) and intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy complementary β -neighborhoods (IHFC β -neighborhoods. Through theoretical analysis of covering-based IHFRS models, we propose the intuitionistic hesitant fuzzy TOPSIS (IHF-TOPSIS) technique for order of preference by similarity to an ideal solution, addressing multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) challenges concerning the assessment of IHF data. A compelling example aptly showcases the suggested approach. Furthermore, we address MCDM problems regarding the assessment of IHF information based on CIHFRS models. Through comparison and analysis, it is evident that addressing MCDM problems by assessing IHF data using CIHFRS models proves more effective than utilizing intuitionistic fuzzy data with CIFRS models or hesitant fuzzy information with CHFRS models. IHFS emerges as a unique and superior tool for addressing real-world challenges. Additionally, covering-based rough sets (CRSs) have been successfully applied to decision problems due to their robust capability in handling unclear data. In this study, by combining CRSs with IHFS, four classes of CIFRS versions are established using IHF β -neighborhoods and IHFC β -neighborhoods. A corresponding approximation axiomatic system is developed for each. The roughness and precision degrees of CBIHFRS models are specifically talked about. The relationship among these four types of IHFRS versions and existing related versions is presented based on theoretical investigations. A method for MCDM problems through IHF information, namely, IHF-TOPSIS, is introduced to further demonstrate its effectiveness and applicability. This study evaluates factors influencing pregnancy rates per artificial insemination (P/AI) and pregnancy loss in Lohi ewes undergoing laparoscopic AI with frozen–thawed semen under sub‐tropical conditions. Data from three experiments comprising ewes (n = 358) of mixed parity (nulliparous; NP and parous; P), various body condition score (BCS) and assigned to long‐term (LTP, 11 days) and short‐term (STP, 5 days) oestrus synchronization regimen across high breeding season (HBS) and low breeding season (LBS) were analysed. Laparoscopic insemination was conducted 54 h post‐sponge removal. Pregnancy diagnosis and loss were evaluated on days 35 and 90 post‐insemination via ultrasonography. Results showed parity significantly influenced P/AI, with nulliparous ewes achieving higher pregnancy ratios than parous ewes (p =.001). BCS significantly influenced P/AI (p <.05), with a quadratic relationship observed between BCS and season (BCS*BCS*Season; p =.07). Progestin treatment did not significantly influence the ratio of pregnant ewes (p =.07). Pregnancy losses were significantly higher during LBS than HBS (p <.05), irrespective of progestin treatment. In conclusion, parity and BCS significantly influenced P/AI, with BCS demonstrating a quadratic association with season. Introduction Methods Results Conclusion Leadless pacemakers (LPM) have established themselves as the important therapeutic modality in management of selected patients with symptomatic bradycardia. To determine real‐world utilization and in‐hospital outcomes of LPM implantation since its approval by the Food and Drug Administration in 2016.For this retrospective cohort study, data were extracted from the National Inpatient Sample database from the years 2016−2020. The outcomes analyzed in our study included implantation trends of LPM over study years, mortality, major complications (defined as pericardial effusion requiring intervention, any vascular complication, or acute kidney injury), length of stay, and cost of hospitalization. Implantation trends of LPM were assessed using linear regression. Using years 2016−2017 as a reference, adjusted outcomes of mortality, major complications, prolonged length of stay (defined as >6 days), and increased hospitalization cost (defined as median cost >34 098$) were analyzed for subsequent years using a multivariable logistic regression model.There was a gradual increased trend of LPM implantation over our study years (3230 devices in years 2016−2017 to 11 815 devices in year 2020, p for trend <.01). The adjusted mortality improved significantly after LPM implantation in subsequent years compared to the reference years 2016−2017 (aOR for the year 2018: 0.61, 95% CI: 0.51−0.73; aOR for the year 2019: 0.49, 95% CI: 0.41−0.59; and aOR for the year 2020: 0.52, 95% CI: 0.44−0.62). No differences in adjusted rates of major complications were demonstrated over the subsequent years. The adjusted cost of hospitalization was higher for the years 2019 (aOR: 1.33, 95% CI: 1.22−1.46) and 2020 (aOR: 1.69, 95% CI: 1.55−1.84).The contemporary US practice has shown significantly increased implantation rates of LPM since its approval with reduced rates of inpatient mortality. This study investigates the relationship between democracy and innovation across 61 developing countries from 2013 to 2020, utilizing data from Global Innovation Index. Employing the Freedom House Index and Polity2 indicators as proxies for democracy, research employs Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), Fixed Effects and SystemGMM techniques to analyze their impact on innovation. The findings of the study reveal no statistically significant relationships between democracy and innovation in developing nations within specified timeframe. Through empirical analysis, including various econometric approaches, it is observed that the level of democracy as measured by these indicators, does not appear to exert a discernable impact on the innovation landscape of these countries. These results carry important implications for public policy. While the promotion of democracy remains a crucial goal, especially for societal development and political stability, this study suggests that solely focusing on enhancing democratic institutions might not necessarily yield immediate direct improvements in the innovation capacities of developing nations. Policymakers and stakeholders involved in fostering innovation ecosystems in these regions may need to consider a more nuanced approach, encompassing factors beyond the scope of democratic governance to effectively spur innovation. In the recent decade, advancements in technology and the excessive use of electronic devices in everyday life have harmed human health and produced electromagnetic pollution. To overcome these problems, hexagonal ferrites are used as excellent microwave-absorbing materials to clean the environment and protect human health. In this study, chromium (Cr3+) substituted Y-type BaSrCo 2 Cr x Fe 12-x O 22 hexaferrites (x = 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0) have been synthesized through self-ignited sol-gel method and sintered at 1150 °C for 5.5 h. The single phase of the synthesized nanomagnetic materials was confirmed by X-ray diffraction analysis. FTIR analysis unfold the Fe–O vibrational bands at tetrahedral and octahedral sites due to iron oxide base material. The incorporation of Cr3+ limits the transfer of electrons. As a result, DC electrical resistivity significantly increases from 7.59 × 109–4.85 × 1010 (Ω cm). The dielectric behavior and impedance analysis was carried out in the 1 MHz - 6 GHz range. By replacing Cr3+, the dielectric constant and loss exhibit a decreasing behavior. For all compositions, the values of reflection loss are calculated in the range of −39.37 to −32.95 to make them excellent microwave-absorbing materials due to their lower cost, small size, and lightweight properties. The substitution of Cr3+ increases the saturation magnetization (61.35–96.10 emu/g), coercivity (62.31–897.99 Oe), and remanence (12.30–46.52 emu/g). The majority of the cell wall of a plant is composed of cellulose. Cellulose is an outstanding abundant, fibrous, and water-insoluble polymer on earth. The excellent hierarchical structure and semicrystalline nature of plant cellulose permit the easy isolation of nanofibers and nanocrystals through mechanically and chemically applied top-down destruction strategies. The cellulose molecules in nanocomposites can be separated into types such as bacterial nanocellulose (BNC), crystalline nanocellulose (CNC), and cellulose nanofibrils (CNF), which are biodegradable, environmentally friendly, and possess remarkably improved properties compared to conventional materials. Generally, they are deliberated as second-generation renewable resources, which assist as a superior replacement for petroleum-based materials. Research studies on nanocellulose are extensively accelerating due to petroleum-based materials issues like CO2 emissions, plastic based-pollution, and the absence of renewable energy. Research studies regarding these materials are interestingly increasing due to their outstanding properties such as biocompatibility, renewability, higher mechanical and lower density values, while sustainable production still associated with various challenges. Nickel substituted Sr–Co nano spinel ferrites with composition Sr 0.5-x Ni x Co 0.5 Fe 2 O 4 (0.0, 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3) were prepared with the help of a sol-gel auto combustion route. The prepared materials were sintered at 800 for four and a half hours. Analysis of XRD confirmed that the material is composed of a cubic spinel structure with a single phase, and its space group is Fd-3m. Rietveld refinement of X-ray diffraction data was done for all prepared compositions using FULLPROF software. As the composition under study contains more nickel than lattice constant, crystalline size, X-ray density, and bulk density decrease. The dielectric properties were observed about frequency. The dielectric properties revealed that dielectric loss, dielectric constant, and ac conductivity decrease with increasing the Ni2+ content. The activation energy (ΔE) was calculated from the slope of Arrhenius plots. The ΔE found in the range of 0.580–0.096 eV. The analysis of XPS was carried out to examine the elemental state of annealed samples. The prepared material is suitable for employment in applications involving high frequencies because the Ni-doped Sr–Co ferrites with the greatest Ni2+ concentration have the lowest dielectric loss, dielectric constant, and tangent loss value. Building code implementation in developing countries is a serious concern due to poorly regulated construction practices. Deficiencies in terms of material strength and structural detailing are found the most in reinforced concrete frames in Pakistan. This paper presents the results of quasi-static cyclic tests performed on reduced-scale RC frames with and without beam-column joint detailing and considering normal and low-strength concrete respectively. Fragility functions and loss curves for the standard/sub-standard frames were derived using an experimentally validated numerical model. Furthermore, the existing RC frames building stock was rehabilitated with various configurations of steel bracing i.e. one way diagonal, one way eccentric, two way diagonal, two way eccentric and concentric. The developed fragility and loss curves for the rehabilitated frames confirmed that the two way diagonal steel bracing system outclasses the other types. Moreover, inter-story drift limits for as-built and rehabilitated frames were proposed under design base earthquakes and maximum considered earthquakes. Maximum considered earthquakes pushed the ductile as-built frame further than the moderate damage state, thus rehabilitation after such an event will be required for the structure. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the added effect of jaw clenching on the efficacy of lumbar stabilization exercises to manage chronic non-specific low back pain. Methods: This randomized controlled trial was conducted at the Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (SIPM&R) Karachi from April 2021 to April 2023. Eighty patients with chronic non-specific low back pain participated in this study. Forty patients each were randomly allocated to the lumbar stability exercise (LSE) group' and the lumbar stability exercise with teeth clenching (LSETC) group. Patients in both groups performed respective exercises twice weekly for 12 weeks. The Numeric Pain Rating Scale (NPRS), Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire (RMDQ), and Pressure Biofeedback Unit (PBU) were used to assess pain, disability, and muscle endurance respectively. Data were collected at the baseline, after six weeks and 12 weeks of intervention. A p-value of <0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Both groups showed statistically significant improvements in pain, disability, and muscle endurance. Upon further stratification, participants aged 20-30 years in the LSETC group showed significantly higher scores than the LSE group for NPRS, RMDQ, and PBU after 12 weeks. Overall, the LSETC group showed relatively higher improvement in mean scores for NPRS, RMDQ, and PBU than the LSE group. Conclusion: Lumbar stabilization exercises with and without jaw movement are effective for the treatment of chronic non-specific low back pain. Developing economical and high‐performing sensitizers is crucial in advancing dye‐sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) and optoelectronics. This research paper explores the potential of novel red light‐absorbing organic dyes based on Indolo[3,2‐b]carbazole (ICZ) as the donor applied in co‐sensitizer‐free DSSCs for breakthroughs in photovoltaic (PV) applications. DFT and TD‐DFT based computational methods were employed to calculate the conduction band levels, electron injection capabilities, and power conversion efficiency (PCE) of metal‐free organic dyes (ICZ1–ICZ9) having D‐A‐π‐A architecture. Comprehensive analyses included NBO, DOS, FMO, ICT, MEP, binding energy, and TDM analysis. Quantum chemical calculations of the structural, photochemical, and electrochemical properties, as well as the key parameters, reveals that all the designed dyes could be an excellent candidate for high‐efficiency DSSCs due the small energy gap (2.130–1.947 eV), longer wavelength absorption (759.47–520.63 nm), longer lifetimes (15.65–6.67 ns), a lower ΔGreg (0.29–0.14 eV), a significant dipole moment changes (31.489–16.195D), LHE (0.95‐0.46), the large qCT (0.962–0.689), small DCT (7.657, 4.897 Å), and VOC (1.13–0.86 eV). This quantum simulation showed that, when compared to reference D8, the photovoltaic dyes ICZ8, ICZ2, and ICZ7 are recognized as being eye‐catching. Furthermore, dye@(TiO2)9 cluster model results demonstrate promising prospects for enhancing the photovoltaic (PV) performance of ICZ1–ICZ9 dyes by electron injection and conduction band (CB) engineering. The increased demand for lightweight structural materials in the transport sector has compelled researchers to develop materials with high strength and reduced structural weight, aiming to enhance vehicle performance, minimize fuel and oil consumption and reduce CO2 emissions. However, their structural weight and strength still need to be improved. Herein, an attempt has been made to fabricate aluminum-based composites reinforced with hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN: 1,3,5,7 wt%) and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs: 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1 wt%) through powder processing method. The results revealed that the 3BN/Al composite disclosed better densification (96.8%) and hardness (49 ± 1.5) among all BN/Al composites. Furthermore, the addition of 0.5 wt% CNTs to BN/Al composite significantly improved the densification (97.7%), Vickers hardness (106%) and tensile strength (189%) over pure Al. This improvement was attributed to homogeneously distributed h-BN and CNTs in the Al matrix and the formation of hard aluminum carbide (Al4C3) phase. The results demonstrate that BN/CNTs/Al composite exhibits superior mechanical strength, making them promising structural and functional materials for aerospace and automobile industries. Here, we describe new bovid remains from the Late Miocene-Early Pliocene of Padhri in the Potwar Plateau of Pakistan. A comparison with the closely allied genera from the Siwaliks revealed that a maxillary fragment and a hemimandible belong to Tragoportax punjabicus, two isolated teeth can be assigned as cf. Tragoportax sp. and a mandible fragment belongs to Gazella lydekkeri. We suggest that Tragoportax is represented by two valid species and Gazella by three species. The extinction of Tragoportax and Gazella from the Siwaliks during the Early Pliocene could be associated with habitat loss, as these used to live in forest and shrublands respectively which were replaced with the grassland towards the beginning of the Pliocene. Climate variability affects the phenological, physiological, and morphological adaptability of Kiwifruit. Hence, five Kiwifruit varieties were evaluated under variable rainfed climatic conditions in Pothowar. Phenological data of all five varieties was observed at both study sites, including bud initiation, bud swelling, and bud burst. Goldflesh (GDF) and Green Flesh 1 (GF1) were observed to be late in bud burst and to have poor physio-morphological responses and plant survival rates. In contrast, Hayward (H), Bruno (B), and Greenflesh 2 (GF2) exhibited superior performance in terms of plant physiological and morphological traits (e.g., heat damage percentage, photosynthetic activity, shoot length, t runk diameter, d isease incidence percentage, and survival rate). Greenflesh 2 (GF2) plants at both study locations exhibited a lower percentage of heat damage (4.25 and 5.83) than Greenflesh 1 (6.2 and 9.87) and Goldflesh (6.11 and 8.83), respectively. Bruno had more photosynthetic activity (627.31 and 773.5 mol m-2 sec-1) than Goldflesh (330.49 and 343.71 mol m-2 sec-1) and Greenflesh 1 (346.96 and 354.25 mol m-2 sec-1, respectively). Hayward (112.56 and 183.44 cm) and Bruno (109.98 and 160.39 cm) had longer shoots compared to Greenflesh 1 (44.23 and 71.26 cm) and Goldflesh (62.49 and 111.16 cm). Bruno (1.02 and 1.6 cm) and Hayward (0.93 and 1.56 cm) had a significantly larger trunk diameter than Greenflesh 1 (0.74 and 1.3 cm) and Goldflesh (0.78 and 1.3 cm), respectively. Hayward, Bruno, and Greenflesh 2 were significantly more resistant to disease incidence (0.27, 0.15, and 0.41) and plant survival was high (80%, 78%, and 79%) in all three varieties at both locations. Bruno and Greenflesh 2 proved to be the most productive varieties under variable climate conditions; thus, their material can be used to develop future Kiwifruit ideotypes in rainfed regions. Y-type hexaferrite ceramic materials of nominal composition Ba 2 Co 2 Cr x Y x Fe 12-2x O 22 (x = 0.00, 0.03, 0.06, 0.09, and 0.12) were synthesized by sol-gel auto combustion route. Y-type hexaferrites are technologically important ceramic materials for fabricating modern electronic devices and microwave absorbers due to their unique electrical and dielectric properties and reflection loss behavior. XRD classifies the single-phase formations with space group R 3 ‾ m. The crystallite size of the synthesized samples was calculated in (34–41) nm range. The specific absorption band in FTIR spectra approves the (Fe–O) stretching vibrations at wavenumbers 446 and 478 cm−1. The substitution of iron by Cr3+ and Y3+ increases DC resistivity from 1.03 × 1011 to 1.17 × 1012 Ω cm by limiting the electrons jumping between ferrous and ferric ions. The activation energy and drift mobility were also calculated among the substituting content of Cr3+-Y3+. The dielectric response in 1 MHz–6 GHz frequency was determined and the effect of substitution has been observed. The Maxwell-Wagner (MW) bilayer model is used to study dispersion in dielectric parameters with reference to applied frequency. The maximum values of dielectric losses were obtained at 6 GHz in the range of 0.37–0.60. The coercivity values confirms the soft magnetic nature of synthesized samples. The microwave absorption (MW) properties of synthesized materials were improved upon Cr3+-Y3+ substitution. Minimum reflection loss R Lmin = −66 dB (99.99% absorption of MW) at 1.46 GHz frequency and 1.96 mm thickness was obtained for x = 0.09 composition. Chalicotheriidae fossils from Siwaliks have played an important part in the palaeontological history of chalicotheres. For example, the recovered specimen represents the features of Anisodon and Chalicotherium. First, the dual features of the molar are described. A review of the characters supports Chalicotherium sp. for this specimen. Second, the description and comparison of this specimen enhance the knowledge of the subcontinent chalichotheres. Moreover, it gives us better aspects for the morphometric features of the genera Anisodon and Chalicotherium. This study aims to compare the dual solutions of the problem describing the magnetized motion of a Newtonian and second‐grade fluid induced by a curved stretching/shrinking surface using the associations of homogeneous–heterogeneous reaction and Cattaneo–Christov model. The model is further developed using the properties of convective heat transfer, suction velocity, Joule heating, heat source/sink, and viscous dissipation with the porous medium. The relevant transformations are applied to the governing partial differential equations (PDEs) resulting in the system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs). The solution technique makes use of the computational scheme in MATLAB known as the bvp4c technique. All relevant findings are obtained using a wide range of dimensionless parameters. The Cattaneo–Christov model and the second‐grade fluid transmits heat faster than the classical Fourier law and Newtonian fluid as well as the heat transfer rate of both fluids was found to drop as the values of Eckert number and curvature parameter enhances. Moreover, the Newtonian fluid has lower friction drag than the second‐grade fluid and the concentration of the bulk fluid is declined by the rising values of hetrogeneous and homogeneous reaction parameter. With potential applications in a variety of engineering fields, including thermal management systems and nanofluid‐based technologies, this work is significant for understanding MHD flow of second‐grade nanofluids over curved surfaces, incorporating heterogeneous reactions and the Cattaneo–Christov model. The results also aid in improving heat transfer efficiency and understanding of fluid behavior under various parameter situations, providing information for improving industrial processes and advanced materials engineering design considerations. For applications in magneto-electronic devices, diluted magnetic semiconductors (DMSs) usually exhibit spin-dependent coupling and induced ferromagnetism at high Curie temperatures. The processes behind the behavior of optical emission and ferromagnetism, which can be identified by complicated microstructural and chemical characteristics, are still not well understood. In this study, the impact of Al co-doping on the electronic, optical, and magnetic properties of Ni(II) doped ZnO monolayers has been investigated using first principles calculations. Ferromagnetism in the co-doped monolayer is mainly triggered by the exchange coupling between the electrons provided by Al co-doping and Ni(II)- d states; therefore, the estimated Curie temperature is greater than room temperature. The spin–spin couplings in mono-doped and co-doped monolayers were explained using the band-coupling mechanism. Based on the optical study, we observed that the Ni-related absorption peak occurred at 2.13–2.17 eV, showing a redshift as Ni concentrations increased. The FM coupling between Ni ions in the co-doped monolayer may be responsible for the reduction in the fundamental band gap seen with Al co-doping. We observed peaks in the near IR and visible regions of the co-doped monolayer, which improve the optoelectronic device's photovoltaic performance. Additionally, the correlation between optical characteristics and spin–spin couplings has been studied. We found that the Ni(II)'s d–d transition bands or fundamental band gap in the near configuration undergoes a significant shift in response to AFM and FM coupling, whereas in the far configuration, they have a negligible shift due to the paramagnetic behavior of the Ni ions. AbstractRegression analysis is widely used to predict the response variable utilizing one or more predictor variables. In many fields of study, the predictors are highly correlated causing multicollinearity problem that severely affects the efficiency of ordinary least square (OLS) estimators by significantly inflating their variances. To solve the multicollinearity problem, various one and two parameter ridge estimators are available in literature. In this article, a class of modified two parameter Lipovetsky–Conklin ridge estimators is proposed based on eigen values of X′X matrix that provide an automatic dealing option for treating different levels of multicollinearity. An extensive simulations study followed by real life example is used to evaluate the performance of proposed estimators based on MSE criterion. AbstractPhosphorus (P) deficiency is a frequent problem in calcareous soils of Pakistan because of P-fixation, which poses significant threats to pearl millet productivity. The use of P-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) is regarded as a promising approach for improving P-availability in soil-plant systems. However, it needs optimization of P application into the soil. Therefore, this 2-year field study was conducted to optimize P doses in combination with PSB (Bacillus sp. MN54) inoculation to improve phosphorus use efficiency (PUE), yield, economic returns, and grain quality of pearl millet. Five P doses, i.e. 0 (native soil P only - control), 30, 60, 90, and 120 kg P2O5 ha−1 combined with and without PSB inoculated seeds were used in the study. The application of 90 kg P2O5 ha−1 + seed inoculation with PSB improved the grain yield by 36.8% and 36.0% during 1st and 2nd year, respectively. The same treatment significantly improved the PUE, grain protein, zinc (Zn), and total grain P contents compared to the control treatment. Women’s empowerment is an important goal of the educational processes around the world. Women in developing countries need support and motivation for attaining higher education and empowerment. This qualitative-exploratory study sought to explore the perceptions of Pakistani female university academics living inside predominantly patriarchal social structures regarding their motivation for and issues in attaining higher education and empowerment. The study also aimed at understanding the notion of empowerment and areas where women academics have achieved empowered status. The study also investigated women academics’ access to higher education, and its impact on their current social positioning in a traditional social setup. A total of 30 purposefully selected women academics from public sector universities in Northwest Pakistan constituted the study sample. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and were analysed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed that patriarchal social structures in and outside workplaces influence women academics’ motivation for higher education and empowerment. However, some motivational factors, including economic stability, professional identity in society, intellectual fulfilment and support of fathers and husbands seemed instrumental in contributing to women academics’ pursuits of higher education and attainment of positions in academia. This document introduces a novel concept involving an Omni-Directional Guided Vane (ODGV) encompassing a vertical axis wind turbine (VAWT) with the goal of improving its overall performance. Extensive three-dimensional computational analysis of the airfoils used in this novel ODGV structure is conducted to investigate the impact of various geometric parameters. Diverse geometric configurations of the ODGV are explored to analyze wind flow behavior across the turbine utilizing a well-validated computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model. The numerical investigations employ the Reynolds Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) modeling approach with the k-epsilon turbulence model. The steady state governing equations are solved using the validated CFD solver STAR CCM+. The study considers three distinct inlet velocities: 3, 6, and 9 m/s, with the aim of improving flow behavior and velocity through the ODGV. Four different modifications of the ODGV are examined, and the accuracy of the CFD model is affirmed through comparison with NACA airfoil data. Integration of the ODGV results in an enhanced self-starting behavior of the VAWT, leading to a reduction in the cut-in speed. Validation results demonstrate a strong agreement with the data obtained from CFD simulations. These results suggest that most shape ratios, except for 0.3 and 0.4 at Tip Speed Ratio (TSR) of 1.3 and 3, contribute to enhancing power and torque coefficients. The strategy of generating sustainable energy with hydrogen fuel is highly significant and promising. Hydrogen fuel being non-toxic proves beneficial for the environment and can be produced in a variety of ways, as industrial water splitting into oxygen and hydrogen is a crucial future plan. This study aims to investigate cerium-based chalcogens (CeS, CeSe, and CeTe), as a catalyst to broaden the family of highly effective OER electrocatalysts based on transition metal chalcogenides. CeTe on NF was found to exhibit lowest onset potential with an overpotential of 333 mV at 10 mAcm−2 and a 51 mVdec−1 Tafel value among CeE (E = S, Se) chalcogenides with comparable stoichiometry. Using different analyses, it was determined that CeTe had a large surface area of 83.7 m2g-1, a cubic structure, and a highly crystalline nanoflakes morphology. High electrochemical surface area of 562 cm2, small resistance as Rs of 1.12 Ω, and Rct 729 mΩ, along with high TOF value of 0.174 s−1, 0.059 s−1, 0.009 s−1 for CeTe as compared to CeSe and CeS have supported by CV results. In particular, CeTe showed exceptional catalytic efficiency and was highly active and durable in oxygen evolution reactions. Recently, the research community has shown significant interest in the continuous temporal data obtained from motion sensors in wearable devices. These data are useful for classifying and analysing different human activities in many application areas such as healthcare, sports and surveillance. The literature has presented a multitude of deep learning models that aim to derive a suitable feature representation from temporal sensory input. However, the presence of a substantial quantity of annotated training data is crucial to adequately train the deep networks. Nevertheless, the data originating from the wearable devices are vast but ineffective due to a lack of labels which hinders our ability to train the models with optimal efficiency. This phenomenon leads to the model experiencing overfitting. The contribution of the proposed research is twofold: firstly, it involves a systematic evaluation of fifteen different augmentation strategies to solve the inadequacy problem of labeled data which plays a critical role in the classification tasks. Secondly, it introduces an automatic feature-learning technique proposing a Multi-Branch Hybrid Conv-LSTM network to classify human activities of daily living using multimodal data of different wearable smart devices. The objective of this study is to introduce an ensemble deep model that effectively captures intricate patterns and interdependencies within temporal data. The term "ensemble model" pertains to fusion of distinct deep models, with the objective of leveraging their own strengths and capabilities to develop a solution that is more robust and efficient. A comprehensive assessment of ensemble models is conducted using data-augmentation techniques on two prominent benchmark datasets: CogAge and UniMiB-SHAR. The proposed network employs a range of data-augmentation methods to improve the accuracy of atomic and composite activities. In the present study, the operational lifetime of a solid oxide fuel (SOFC) short stack is predicted by investigating the performance degradation of both the short stack and its cells throughout 1000 ​h at 800 ​°C. The short stack and integral cell voltages are continuously measured during the long-term test, with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) conducted every 200 ​h. The short stack voltage decreased rapidly for the initial 200–300 ​h and afterwards, it decreased at a slow rate due to the increase in the Ohmic and polarization resistances in the same manner. Scanning electron microscopy results show that there is no delamination or cracking among constituent layers of the short-stack cells. The single degradation effects of the Ni coarsening in the anode, cation migration and surface segregation in cathode and oxide scale growth in metallic interconnect mesh are successfully integrated into a comprehensive lifetime prediction model. Key Clinical Message: This case signifies the importance of recognizing DIAIH within the context of antibiotic therapy, especially in older adults and even shortly after common drug exposures for treating UTI. Various drugs can induce immune‐mediated liver damage and in rare instances may lead to autoimmune hepatitis. Here we report an 84‐year‐old woman who developed autoimmune hepatitis less than 3 weeks after treatment for urinary tract infection with the antibiotic nitrofurantoin. She presented with jaundice, right upper quadrant abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. In the absence of a history of an autoimmune disorder or elevated liver enzymes in the past; elevated liver enzymes after a short course of Nitrofurantoin and the presence of smooth muscle antibodies strongly suggested autoimmune hepatitis, which was confirmed through biopsy sample analysis. The patient scored 7 points on the Naranjo adverse reaction probability scale. However, recent data and studies show that cumbersome procedures, ruthless application of NTMs (Non-Tariff Measures) and restrictions are the biggest challenges for trade in the region. NTMs are important for public health and the environment but if such standards are mutually recognized through bilateral or multilateral agreements then the hectic and lengthy procedures can be avoided. Taking four economies, (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and SriLanka) two-step process is adopted; firstly, AVEs (Ad Valorem Equivalents) of NTMs are calculated and then incorporated in an extended GTAP (Global Trade Analysis Project) based CGE model. Background: The intraoperative use of tourniquets is associated with several complications, including hyperthermia. We present the first documented case of tourniquet-induced hyperthermia in a pediatric patient at our institution. Case: A 5-year-old female with no past medical history underwent tendon release surgery for congenital talipes equinovarus under general anesthesia. Following inflation of a pneumatic tourniquet to a pressure of 250 mmHg on her left thigh, the patient experienced a gradual increase in body temperature. Despite the implementation of cooling measures, the temperature continued to increase until it plateaued. The hyperthermia gradually resolved upon deflation of the tourniquet. Conclusions: Tourniquet-induced hyperthermia should be considered as a potential cause of intraoperative hyperthermia, particularly in the absence of typical signs of malignant hyperthermia. Early recognition and appropriate management, including deflation of the tourniquet and implementation of cooling measures, are crucial for preventing potential complications associated with hyperthermia. Neurofibromatosis is an autosomal-dominant multi-system disease affecting the nervous, integumentary, ocular, and musculoskeletal systems. In the small number of reported cases, the cause was either atraumatic or an intra-articular neurofibroma. Only a couple of articles in medical literature have reported synovial and capsular hemangioma originating within the hip joint. In this article, we present a rare case of pathological hip dislocation in a neurofibromatosis patient secondary to capsular hemangioma that would be reported for the first time in medical literature. We present the case of a 20-year-old female, resident of Karachi, who presented to the outpatient clinic with pain in the left hip join and inability to bear weight on left leg for 1 week. Diagnosed as a case of posterior hip dislocation after physical examination and imaging, her dislocation was reduced by the Allis method. This maneuver, however, was unsuccessful. Ultimately, the joint was reduced with open reduction via Steinmann pin because post-reduction hip joint was unstable to be contained into the acetabulum; therefore, Steinmann pin was used. The biopsy specimen taken from joint capsule and femoral neck during the surgery revealed cavernous hemangioma within the capsule. Hence, the etiology of posterior hip dislocation was attributed to the presence of capsular hemangioma within the hip joint. The surgery proved successful. The patient had remarkable recovery. The Steinmann pin was removed at 6 weeks, full weight-bearing started at 3 months, and range of motion extended from 0 to 90 degrees at 1 year with imaging studies showing a normally placed hip joint. The presented case reports an unusual etiology of a rare pathology occurring in association with a common genetic disease. It focuses on the importance of thorough examination and extensive relevant investigations in patients presenting with rare pathologies. These practices not only expedite the diagnosis and treatment of such patients, but can also reveal unusual etiologies responsible for uncommon pathologies. This case would help widen the differential diagnosis and treatment strategies of the physicians while dealing with neurofibromatosis patients with pathological hip dislocation. This research investigates the impact of root pass removal procedures, specifically back grinding and back gouging, on the mechanical and microstructural properties of mild steel joints welded through shielded metal arc welding (SMAW). The study employs ASTM A516 grade 70 base metal and E7018 electrode, providing detailed information on welding parameters, joint preparation, and testing methods. Microstructural analysis indicates that the back-gouged joint, with higher heat input, exhibits coarser grains in heat-affected and fusion zones compared to the back-ground joint. Tensile tests reveal superior mechanical properties in the back-ground joint, attributed to grain refinement. Charpy impact tests highlight a 9.5% reduction in impact toughness for the back-gouged joint associated with coarser grains. Microhardness profiles support these findings, emphasizing the importance of welding parameters in achieving desired microstructural outcomes and mechanical performance. Ex vivo resting culture is a standard procedure following genome editing in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs). However, prolonged culture may critically affect cell viability and stem cell function. We investigated whether varying durations of culture resting times impact the engraftment efficiency of human CD34+ HSPCs edited at the BCL11A enhancer, a key regulator in the expression of fetal hemoglobin. We employed electroporation to introduce CRISPR-Cas9 components for BCL11A enhancer editing and compared outcomes with nonelectroporated (NEP) and electroporated-only (EP) control groups. Post-electroporation, we monitored cell viability, death rates, and the frequency of enriched hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) fractions (CD34+CD90+CD45RA- cells) over a 48-hour period. Our findings reveal that while the NEP group showed an increase in cell numbers 24 hours post-electroporation, both EP and BCL11A -edited groups experienced significant cell loss. Although CD34+ cell frequency remained high in all groups for up to 48 hours post-electroporation, the frequency of the HSC-enriched fraction was significantly lower in the EP and edited groups compared to the NEP group. In NBSGW xenograft mouse models, both conditioned with busulfan and nonconditioned, we found that immediate transplantation post-electroporation led to enhanced engraftment without compromising editing efficiency. Human glycophorin A+ (GPA+) red blood cells (RBCs) sorted from bone marrow of all BCL11A edited mice exhibited similar levels of γ-globin expression, regardless of infusion time. Our findings underscore the critical importance of optimizing the culture duration between genome editing and transplantation. Minimizing this interval may significantly enhance engraftment success and minimize cell loss without compromising editing efficiency. Pakistan is situated in an earthquake-prone area, and in the past, many destructive earthquakes have occurred including the most destructive 1935 Quetta, and 2005 Kashmir, earthquakes. Therefore, it is of vital importance to investigate the statistical properties of the earthquake temporal data of Pakistan. The present study brings novelty through the vast extension of the linear and nonlinear autoregressive conditional duration models in the field of seismology. A simple duration model capable of describing and forecasting the earthquake elapsed times data has been developed. Different specifications of the duration models were considered to completely extract the time-dependent structure in earthquake data. This study aims to identify the most suitable in-sample fitted and out-of-sample forecasting models for the earthquake elapsed times data of Pakistan. A variety of autoregressive conditional duration models were applied to the complete and updated earthquake catalog of Pakistan. The most suitable model was chosen through statistical model evaluation techniques. The method of maximum likelihood was used to estimate the model parameters. The adequacy of fitted models is assessed through residual analysis. The obtained results suggest that the Logarithmic Autoregressive Conditional Duration model of type 2 (LACD2) appeared as the most suitable in-sample fitted model for describing the earthquake temporal data of the different zones of Pakistan. Further, the simple autoregressive conditional duration (ACD) model outperforms the remaining considered models regarding 1-through-4 steps-ahead out-of-sample forecasting performance for both India–Eurasia collision (IEC) and Makran subduction (MS) zones. Autoregressive models with Burr and exponential distributions as assumed error distributions have appeared as the most suitable fitted models for IEC and MS zones, respectively. The residuals analysis results show that the most suitable fitted models are correctly identified. The results show that the earthquake short-term (h = 1) forecasting with duration models is more accurate in comparison with earthquake long-term (h = 1 , 2 , 3) forecasting. The forecasted elapsed times for IEC and MS zones are 0.60 and 2.94 years, respectively. The obtained results show that the autoregressive conditional models are a more useful tool for forecasting the earthquake elapsed times for short term in comparison with the long-term forecasting. Hence, autoregressive conditional models are capable of modeling and forecasting the earthquake temporal data of the different regions of Pakistan. Among the competing models, the best fit model can serve the purpose of data description, missing value estimation in earthquake catalogs and uncertainty quantification in the earthquake occurrence process. Young adults are at high risk of experiencing economic abuse—a form of intimate partner violence (IPV)—and Chinese young adults in non-marital cohabitation are especially vulnerable. To reduce economic abuse, an important question to answer is: What factors are associated with economic abuse? After controlling for constructs (e.g., demographic information and other types of IPV) that were linked to economic abuse, we investigated how financial behaviors (i.e., individuals' money management capability) were associated with power (im)balance (i.e., whether individuals shared equal influence with the romantic partner) and, in turn, economic abuse among non-marital cohabitating Chinese young adults. We also investigated whether associations among financial behaviors, power (im)balance, and economic abuse varied across young adults' gender and SES. We used a Qualtrics survey to collect data from 445 non-marital cohabitating Chinese young adults (53.3% male vs. 46.7% female; 22.7% lower socioeconomic status [SES] vs. 77.3% higher-SES). A structural equation model was conducted to test the associations of research interests. We found that money management capability (e.g., spending within budget and tracking expenses) is associated with balanced power—the individual sharing equal influence with the partner in the decision-making process—and, in turn, less experience of being economically abused. These associations were statistically equivalent across gender and SES. Collectively, our findings suggested that promoting money management capability be a timely and new avenue for reducing economic abuse among Chinese young adults in non-marital cohabitation, possibly because this population faces common and severe economic abuse but generally lacks the opportunity to learn money management. Spinal multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) are now standard of care for complex patient management in tertiary spinal units. This study investigates whether a scheduling proforma, and cultural change to the team that promotes psychological safety, can improve spinal MDT effectiveness for team members and patients. Retrospective cohort study including 165 spinal MDT patients before and after intervention. The intervention was use of a scheduling proforma and team learning to promote a culture of psychological safety. Data on accident and emergency (A&E) attendances, unplanned emergency admissions and post-operative 30-day readmissions were collected. At the team level, data were collected from 16 MDT participants using the MDT Observational Assessment Rating Scale (MDT-OARS), which measures MDT effectiveness. Pre-intervention MDT-OARS was 28. Analysis of 80 patients demonstrated there were six A&E attendances, three unplanned emergency admissions and four post-operative 30-day re-admissions. Post-intervention MDT-OARS was 38 (p < 0.05). Analysis of 85 patients demonstrated there were three A&E attendances, one unplanned emergency admission and one post-operative re-admission. This study presents a novel computational radio frequency identification (RFID) system designed specifically for assisting blind individuals, utilising software-defined radio (SDR) with coherent detection. The system employs battery-less ultra-high-frequency (UHF) tag arrays in Gen2 RFID systems, enhancing the transmission of sensed information beyond standard identification bits. Our method uses an SDR reader to efficiently manage multiple tags with Gen2 preambles implemented on a single transceiver card. The results highlight the system's real-time capability to detect movements and direction of walking within a four-meter range, indicating significant advances in contactless activity monitoring. This system not only handles the complexities of multiple tag scenarios but also delineates the influence of system parameters on RFID operational efficiency. AbstractThe growing issue of poverty and inequitable income distribution is a prevalent concern in many economies across the globe. It acts as an impediment to economic development, especially in the developing world. This study aims to explore the impact of financial inclusion on poverty and income-inequality in five SAARC countries (2004–2021). The FMOLS estimator is used in the case of individual country analysis, whereas, the fixed-effects, and GMM, approaches are implemented in the case of panel data. The empirical estimates from both individual countries and panel data analysis reveal that financial inclusion contributes to mitigating income inequality and poverty. The empirical findings emphasize that bolstering an inclusive financial system is crucial for lowering poverty and income-inequality, thereby achieving SDG01 and SDG10. The research explicitly highlights the central role of encouraging, expanding, and promoting financial inclusion in SAARC economies as the core driver for lowering poverty and income disparities. The increasing resistance of methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcusaureus to antibiotics is a major challenge faced by mankind in thehistory of medical science and according to United Nations, 700‐000 patients worldwide die every year from an infection with multidrug‐resistant organisms (MROs). Aluminum gallium nitride‐based 228 nm Far‐ultraviolet‐C (Far‐UVC) lightsources can be safely used as a germicidal application in both manned as wellas in unmanned environments against these MROs. Previously, the 228 nm Far‐UVC light‐emitting diode (LED) with emission power of 1 mW was reported by ourgroup, however, the value of external quantum efficiency (EQE) was not reportedusing conventional thick Ni (20 nm)/Au (100 nm) p‐electrode. Herein, animproved Far‐UVC LED on c‐Sapphire is attempted using a special technique in SR4000 type of metal‐organic chemical vapor deposition reactor to control the Al composition in n‐AlGaN buffer and across the 2 inch‐wafer. As a result, the light emission power of 1.8 mW and EQE of 0.32% in 228 nm Far‐UVC LED aresuccessfully achieved using very thin p‐electrode (Ni/Au). However, arelatively high junction temperature of ≈100°C around thejunction of Far‐UVC LED is observed. Background: Oncotype-Dx (ODx) is a 21-gene assay used as a prognostic and predictive tool for hormone receptor (HR)-positive and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative, node-negative, or 1 to 3 lymph node-positive early breast cancers (EBCs). The cost of the test, which is not available in low-middle income countries (LMICs), is not within the means of most individuals. The Ki-67 index is a marker of tumor proliferation that is cost-effective and easily performed and has been substituted in many cases to obtain prognostic information. Objective: We aimed to identify the correlation between the ODx recurrence score (RS) and the Ki-67 index in HR-positive EBCs and to determine whether Ki-67, like the ODx, can help facilitate clinical decision-making. Design: Systematic review correlating Ki-67 index and ODx in HR-positive and HER2-negative EBCs as per Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Data sources and methods: We searched different databases between January 2010 and May 2023 and included retrospective/prospective cohorts, clinical trials, case-control, and cross-sectional studies involving HR-positive and HER2-negative EBCs correlating the Ki-67 index and ODx RS categories. Results: Of the 18 studies included, 16 indicated a positive or weakly positive correlation between ODx and the Ki-67 index. The combined P value of the included studies is <0.05 (P =.000), which shows a statistical significance between the 2. Our review also discusses the potential of machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) in Ki-67 assessment, offering a cost-effective and reproducible alternative. Conclusion: Even although there are limitations, studies indicate a favorable association between ODx and the Ki-67 index in specific situations. This implies that Ki-67 can offer important predictive details, especially regarding the likelihood of relapse in HR-positive EBC. This is particularly significant in LMICs where financial constraints often hinder the availability of costly diagnostic tests. Background: Soil salinity is one of the major menaces to food security, particularly in dealing with the food demand of the ever-increasing global population. Production of cereal crops such as wheat is severely affected by soil salinity and improper fertilization. The present study aimed to examine the effect of selected microbes and poultry manure (PM) on seedling emergence, physiology, nutrient uptake, and growth of wheat in saline soil. A pot experiment was carried out in research area of Institute of Soil and Environmental Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Saline soil (12 dS m− 1 w/w) was developed by spiking using sodium chloride, and used in experiment along with two microbial strains (i.e., Alcaligenes faecalis MH-2 and Achromobacter denitrificans MH-6) and PM. Finally, wheat seeds (variety Akbar-2019) were sown in amended and unamended soil, and pots were placed following a completely randomized design. The wheat crop was harvested after 140 days of sowing. Results: The results showed a 10–39% increase (compared to non-saline control) in agronomic, physiological, and nutritive attributes of wheat plants when augmented with PM and microbes. Microbes together with PM significantly enhanced seedling emergence (up to 38%), agronomic (up to 36%), and physiological (up to 33%) in saline soil as compared to their respective unamended control. Moreover, the co-use of microbes and PM also improved soil's physicochemical attributes and enhanced N (i.e., 21.7%-17.1%), P (i.e., 24.1-29.3%), and K (i.e., 28.7%-25.3%) availability to the plant (roots and shoots, respectively). Similarly, the co-use of amendments also lowered the Na+ contents in soil (i.e., up to 62%) as compared to unamended saline control. This is the first study reporting the effects of the co-addition of newly identified salt-tolerant bacterial strains and PM on seedling emergence, physiology, nutrient uptake, and growth of wheat in highly saline soil. The main idea of this investigation is to introduce an integrated intelligence approach that investigates the chemically reacting flow of non-Newtonian fluid with a backpropagation neural network (LMS-BPNN). The AI-based LMS-BPNN approach is utilized to obtain the optimal solution of an MHD flow of Eyring–Powell over a porous shrinking wedge with a heat source and nonlinear thermal radiation ( R d ). The partial differential equations (PDEs) that define flow problems are transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) through efficient similarity variables. The reference solution is obtained with the bvp4c function by changing parameters as displayed in Scenarios 1–7. The label data are divided into three portions, i.e., 80% for training, 10% for testing, and 10% for validation. The label data are used to obtain the approximate solution using the activation function in LMS-BPNN within the MATLAB built-in command 'nftool'. The consistency and uniformity of LMS-BPNN are supported by fitness curves based on the MSE, correlation index ( R ), regression analysis, and function fit. The best validation performance of LMS-BPNN is obtained at 462, 369, 642, 542, 215, 209, and 286 epochs with MSE values of 8.67 × 10−10, 1.64 × 10−9, 1.03 × 10−9, 302 9.35 × 10−10, 8.56 × 10−10, 1.08 × 10−9, and 6.97 × 10−10, respectively. It is noted that f ′ (η) , θ (η) , and ϕ (η) satisfy the boundary conditions asymptotically for Scenarios 1–7 with LMS-BPNN. The dual solutions for flow performance outcomes ( C f x , N u x , and S h x ) are investigated with LMS-BPNN. It is concluded that when the magnetohydrodynamics increase ( M = 0.01 ,   0.05 ,   0.1 ), then the solution bifurcates at different critical values, i.e., λ c = − 1.06329 , − 1.097 , − 1.17694 . The stability analysis is conducted using an LMS-BPNN approximation, involving the computation of eigenvalues for the flow problem. The deduction drawn is that the upper (first) branch solution remains stable, while the lower branch solution causes a disturbance in the flow and leads to instability. It is observed that the boundary layer thickness for the lower branch (second) solution is greater than the first solution. Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, ranks among the top causes of global human mortality, as reported by the World Health Organization’s 2022 TB report. The prevalence of M. tuberculosis strains that are multiple and extensive-drug resistant represents a significant barrier to TB eradication. Fortunately, having many completely sequenced M. tuberculosis genomes available has made it possible to investigate the species pangenome, conduct a pan-phylogenetic investigation, and find potential new drug targets. The 442 complete genome dataset was used to estimate the pangenome of M. tuberculosis. This study involved phylogenomic classification and in-depth analyses. Sequential filters were applied to the conserved core genome containing 2754 proteins. These filters assessed non-human homology, virulence, essentiality, physiochemical properties, and pathway analysis. Through these intensive filtering approaches, promising broad-spectrum therapeutic targets were identified. These targets were docked with FDA-approved compounds readily available on the ZINC database. Selected highly ranked ligands with inhibitory potential include dihydroergotamine and abiraterone acetate. The effectiveness of the ligands has been supported by molecular dynamics simulation of the ligand–protein complexes, instilling optimism that the identified lead compounds may serve as a robust basis for the development of safe and efficient drugs for TB treatment, subject to further lead optimization and subsequent experimental validation. AbstractThe nanofluids has attractive applications in the industrials and engineering field because nanofluids offer the improvement in the thermal efficiencies of flow, which is very fruitful in the energy sector. This study emphases on the numerical exploration of heat and mass transfer efficiencies on a mixed convective flow of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid under the consideration of gyrotactic microorganisms. To analyze the magnetized boundary layer flow, the stratification boundary conditions are considered on the surface of the stretching cylinder. The thermal analysis involves the important features such as activation energy, nonuniform heat source/sink, and nonlinear thermal radiation. The flow model is altered into system of nonlinear ordinary differential equations by utilization of suitable similarity variables and Bvp4c solver on the MATLAB to find numerical solutions. The graphical and tabulated investigation is presented for various developing parameters thoroughly. The results indicate that by the increment of mixed convection parameters the fluid velocity accelerate consequently, whereas raising values of the Weissenberg number reduce the fluid velocity. TThe greater values of the Prandtl number lead to a decrease in fluid temperature, while the concentration of nanoparticles rises with the increase in activation energy parameters. Additionally, the heat transfer rate reduces due to stronger values of thermophoresis parameter, although reverse tendency is observed for the greater values of Brownian motion parameter. Sustainable growth is a top priority for all economies as they work towards creating a prosperous and resilient future for current and future generations. This study empirically explores the important role of financial inclusion (FI), energy consumption, technological (TECH) innovation and environmental degradation in the economic growth of 13 selected developing Asian countries from 2000 to 2021. The feasible generalized least squares method is used for empirical examinations due to the nature of the data. The study focuses on three dimensions of FI: penetration, usage and availability of financial institutions. The results show that FI, energy consumption and TECH innovation encourage economic growth, whereas ecological footprint discourages economic growth in selected Asian countries. The empirical findings highlight the importance of promoting sustainable growth in Asia through enhanced FI, TECH innovation, sustainable energy practices and environmental conservation. Governments in these countries should prioritize strengthening the financial sector, investing in research and development and implementing effective policies to ensure a clean and green environment. Nomex Honeycomb core is the foundational building block for manufacturing aerospace composite components. Its usage requires machining honeycomb in complex aerodynamic profiles where the quality of the core is governed by accuracy and precision of cut profiles. The assessment of accuracy and precision is directly related to forces induced in the cutting tool and cutting efficiency. These two parameters form the basis of a multi‐objective function that this paper aims to optimize for the milling operation. The parameter of depth of cut considered in this paper has not been analyzed in a multi‐objective optimization study of the Nomex Honeycomb core previously. A Taguchi‐based array of Design of Experiments followed by Analysis of Variance and correlation analysis is utilised. The results indicate that the most significant factor is the feed rate, with a percentage contribution of 72% for the cutting forces and depth of cut, with a percentage contribution of 85% in the case of cutting efficiency. The two parameters are optimized using Desirability Function Analysis and Grey Relational Analysis. The results are validated through experimental runs with an error within 5% of the statistical predictions, with the percentage improvement in cutting forces for optimum runs as compared to the worst experimental run at 47.8%. A modified slotted microstrip patch sensor antenna has been developed for sensitivity enhancement to measure the moisture content of leaves. The design incorporates a rectangular slot positioned above the feed of a rectangular patch antenna. The antenna achieves resonant frequency at a lower range than the operating frequency of a traditional patch antenna without slot while maintaining a miniaturized form factor. To evaluate the sensitivity of the proposed modified slotted patch antenna, the variation in the resonant frequency and the reflection coefficient (S11) is observed with the sample under test (SUT), i.e., leaf is placed above the patch. A comparative analysis with regard to sensitivity and shift in frequency is performed between the designed antenna structures. The designed antenna is fabricated on a 0.8 mm F4B substrate in order to resonate within the 2.40–2.80 GHz range under unloaded conditions. The antenna's sensitivity is tested by performing parametric analysis with respect to the permittivity of the leaf ranging from 20 to 30. The experimental results reveal that the sensitivity of the proposed patch antenna is enhanced by a factor of 1.67 as compared to traditional patch antenna for the four levels of SUT, demonstrating an enhanced sensitivity in detecting the moisture content of leaves. There has been an exponential growth in Language Massive Open Online Courses (LMOOCs) in the past decade. LMOOCs have also become an emergent and topical area of research in CALL, in particular, vis-a-vis learners' perceptions and experiences. However, not much attention has been paid to analysing the features of LMOOCs. We argue that a systematic investigation of LMOOC design features is vital, especially in light of recent criticisms by some CALL and language education scholars regarding the incompatibility between LMOOC designs and language teaching and learning theories and methodologies. This systematic review, which employs Hall's (2013) framework of web-based instruction, addresses this gap by analysing instructional and assessment features of 100 LMOOCs on edX and Coursera. The synthesised findings suggest three strengths of LMOOCs: Most LMOOCs are introductory, suitable for beginning language learners (directionality). Most are easy to navigate because of their consistency in format and features. And most employ a range of multimodal instructional materials (multimodality). Three limitations are also identified: There are few opportunities for instructor-learner and learner-learner interaction (interactivity) and learner-centred, formative assessments (accountability). Besides, LMOOCs are designed with a prescribed learning sequence without addressing individual learner differences (adaptability). The family of ternary Chalcogenides systems has been investigated for their potential applications in optoelectronic devices. We present first-principles calculations of structural, elastic, magnetic, optical properties, and the effective mass of the Sulvanite compounds NbTu2S4 (Tu = Fe, Rh) is determined by GGA + U. The electronic band gaps are NbFe2S4 (2.4 eV (up)/1.8 eV (dn) and NbRh2S4 (2.07 eV (up)/1.6 Ev (dn), which are comparable to other computed results. Optical properties such as absorption coefficient, dielectric function, energy loss function, reflectivity function, refractive index, and extinction coefficient have been calculated for the first time. There is no difference between the materials regarding transparency in the visible range. The low hole effective mass and high valence band indicate a P-type material with photovoltaic applications. Plasma frequencies are observed around 13 eV for both investigated crystals. Sulvanite crystals have effective masses computed from high symmetry points varying non-linearly. The elastic parameter was used to study elastic properties. It is observed that both crystals show an anisotropic nature and ductility. Hydrogen storage has garnered significant research attention in recent times due to the favorable qualities of hydrogen as a clean energy reservoir. We adorned hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) with Fe and Mn to employ it for hydrogen storage purposes. Density functional theory (DFT) utilized to investigate diverse properties, encompassing the hydrogen storage capabilities of h-BN modified with both Fe and Mn. Simulation results revealed that, in its unaltered state, h-BN forms weak van der Waals interactions with H 2 molecules, leading to a binding energy within the range of 0.28 eV and a desorption temperature below 200 K. Furthermore, the study seeks to evaluate the structural stability, electronic characteristics, adsorption tendencies, binding energies, and hydrogen storage capacity. Adsorption energies of H 2 molecules on Fe- and Mn-decorated h-BN falls within the practical range of −0.20 to −0.20 eV for 1H 2 to 14H 2 molecules and −0.17 to −0.20 eV for 1H 2 to 17H 2 molecules respectively making them appropriate for H 2 storage applications. Additionally, hydrogen storing capacity values for Fe- and Mn-decorated h-BN are 6.77 wt % for 14H 2 molecules and 7.03 wt %, for 17H 2 molecules respectively. Hybridization was observed between the states of H 2 and the d states of the system. At elevated temperatures, the molecular dynamics simulations using AIMD techniques significantly enhanced the thermal stability of hydrogen (H 2) molecules when they were adsorbed onto h-BN surfaces decorated with both Fe and Mn, outperforming other experimental conditions or configurations. Based on desorption temperature prediction from the Van't Hoff equation, Fe- and Mn-decorated h-BN exhibit potential as substrate materials for H 2 storage by moderately high temperatures. Earthworms are economically and environmentally very beneficial and their correct identification is very vital. In this study, an attempt has been made to taxonomically identify earthworm species based on morphological characters. The earthworms were collected by simple random sampling from eighteen study sites of Poonch division Pakistan, between April through October 2019 by diging and hand sorting methods were fixed in 10% formaldehyde solution and studied by using a stereomicroscope. The samples were then identified with the help of identification keys provided by Julka (2008) and Chih-Han (2016). The data gathered by studying various external morphological characteristics was statistically assessed by using the one-factor analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research findings revealed that a total of eleven earthworm species classified under two families and six genera were recognized. Moreover, a significant statistical relationship (Tukey test, P < 0.05) was recorded between each of the morphological variables like length, weight and total number of segments. Eisenia fetida was the dominant species of Poonch division as it was reported from most of the sites, whereas Amynthus hupeiensis and Perionyx excavatus were not previously reported in the country. [Display omitted] In recent years, enormous efforts have been made to identify and manipulate the exotic electrical and magnetic properties at a two-dimensional (2D) limit of various exciting materials. The spin–orbit coupling (SOC) in 2D van der Waals (vdW) heterostructures opens a fascinating and versatile platform to implement the intriguing quantum-engineered spintronic devices for practical applications. This review comprehensively outlines the modern-era progress of investigating the inherent magnetism of atomically thin 2D materials. Firstly, in this review, the most recent developments of synthesis, characterizations, functionalities, and spin textures in 2D magnetic materials are summarized in detail. Secondly, we conferred the well-known phenomena related to the proximity effect, spin–orbit torque (SOT), spin valve magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ), spin field effect transistor (FET) and magneto memristive-based applications. In addition, we also explored the possible interplay between 2D magnetic materials and associated band topology for spin caloritronics. Finally, we provided our perspective on the recent and upcoming challenges and goals of this promising research area, which leads the 2D magnetic materials to the modern era of energy-efficient quantum computing.
