Technology drives innovation and reform in hospitality education, and Facebook has become a popular educational tool to facilitate students' classroom interactions. Understanding hospitality students' attitudes toward Facebook teaching interventions is important. Based on a survey of 289 undergraduate hospitality students, first, we expand the scope of the technology acceptance model (TAM) in this study, which integrates the two factors of social interaction and information exchange into the research structure. Second, this study also proposes a new moderated mediation model to account for the internal mechanism underlying Taiwanese undergraduate hospitality students' acceptance of Facebook teaching interventions in terms of perceived usefulness and ease of use. We illuminate the foundation of the application of Facebook media technology to teaching in hospitality higher education. The theoretical contributions and educational implications of this research are also discussed.

Previous research has underscored the significance of the equity investment relationship in facilitating knowledge transfers between a joint venture and its parent company. Successful knowledge bridging in joint ventures plays a crucial role in shaping organizational learning and innovation performance outcomes. The empirical evidence on the effectiveness of knowledge transfers, however, presents a mixed picture. Through a rigorous sample selection process, we collect panel data on 366 joint venture-year observations across four industries during an 18-year period to empirically test the proposed hypotheses. In this research, we contend that the ability of joint ventures to act as knowledge bridges depends on the diversity of the parent's knowledge and the technological similarity between the joint venture and the parent, especially in the context of internal knowledge development. An examination of bridging performance in the relationship between joint ventures and parent companies indicates that both parental knowledge diversity and joint venture – parent technology similarity positively impact the knowledge acquired through the joint venture – parent equity relationship. Furthermore, when the joint venture strongly depends on internal knowledge, the positive relationship among parental knowledge diversity, joint venture – parent technology similarity, and joint venture knowledge bridging becomes more pronounced. Our findings shed light on how the specific features of a parent company contribute to the knowledge learning bridged by a joint venture and underscore the role of equity investments in joint venture firms' innovation. This paper explores the mutual relationships among these concepts and their implications for travel agencies post-COVID-19. The results show that dynamic capabilities (DC) may have an indirect influence on IC through absorptive capabilities (AC). Furthermore, the mutual relationships among the subdimensions of DC and IC are investigated. Additionally, the moderating role of service innovation (SI) is discovered to strengthen the relationships between DC and structural capital (SC). Furthermore, it was found that SI positively and significantly influences the relationship between AC and relational capital (RC). Drawing on the resource-based view, we propose a model to understand the roles of human capital, market and entrepreneurial orientation, absorptive capacity and ways to improve performance with an effective innovation strategy for hospitality development. We combine the Fuzzy Delphi Method, Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory and analytic network process to demonstrate the interactions and relations among critical criteria by using data from 20 Taiwanese restaurant entrepreneurs obtained in 2015–2017. The positive effects of human capital, market orientation, entrepreneurial orientation and absorptive capacity on innovation performance are confirmed. These findings advance resource-based scholarship and highlight the value of understanding the relationship between a restaurant's tangible and intangible resources for hospitality development. Innovation adoption and technology application models have revolutionized the hospitality and food sectors. Innovation is very important to the sustainable development of enterprises. However, current knowledge on whether and how sustainable innovation and innovation adoption can be understood from the perspective of technology application behavior has not been examined empirically. Based on decision-making levels derived from the attitude-implementation-confirmation (A-I-C) framework and following rule conditions on front- and back-of-house processes, the aim of this study is to provide practical recommendations for the establishment of a pattern of green innovation action that influences the implementation of innovation among early adopters in the restaurant industry. Using 499 questionnaire responses and diverse statistical methods, we verify that the effect of innovation adoption is significant and positive on sustainable innovation, and the effects of innovation adoption and sustainability are both significant and positive on technology application and behavior, respectively. Moreover, the effects of technology application are significant and positive on behavior and mediate the link between innovation adoption and behavior. Finally, technology application is modestly moderated by green resource motivation techniques (GrRMT) to influence behavior. The empirical results proved that innovation adoption, sustainable innovation, technology application and GrRMT improve the mechanism of creative behavior in the food/ hospitality sector. The purpose of this paper is to contribute to the limited research on universities' decision to innovate, using the network and knowledge-based perspectives as our theoretical underpinning. The first conclusion is that universities are more likely to locate their scientific productivity on a standalone campus than in a multi-campus system when the knowledge effect is more favorable. To make a contribution to industry and collaboration, universities are more likely to locate their scientific productivity in a multi-campus system. The second conclusion is that after controlling for endogeneity bias, the mean of academic performance for scientific productivity on a standalone campus is higher than it is on a multi-campus system. The third conclusion is that locating innovation activities in either a standalone or multi-campus system under theoretically appropriate conditions increases academic performance. The purpose of this paper is to clarify the concept of dynamic capabilities from the knowledge-based perspective, including knowledge relatedness and knowledge learning, and to investigate the dynamic capabilities on innovation performance in joint venture. Negative binomial regression is used to test the hypotheses in a panel data of 183 joint venture cases. Significant relationships are found between dynamic capabilities and innovation performance. Moreover, the moderating roles of parent patents granted before, parent knowledge diversity and joint venture knowledge diversity are recognised and are hypothesised as positively moderating the effect of knowledge relatedness on innovation performance, but parent patents granted before and joint venture knowledge diversity are hypothesised as negatively tending to moderate the effect of knowledge learning on innovation performance.
