Sepsis, a life-threatening condition resulting from a dysregulated response to pathogen infection, poses a significant challenge in clinical management. Here, we report a novel role for the autophagy receptor NCOA4 in the pathogenesis of sepsis. Activated macrophages and monocytes secrete NCOA4, which acts as a mediator of septic death in mice. Mechanistically, lipopolysaccharide, a major component of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, induces NCOA4 secretion through autophagy-dependent lysosomal exocytosis mediated by ATG5 and MCOLN1. Moreover, bacterial infection with E. coli or S. enterica leads to passive release of NCOA4 during GSDMD-mediated pyroptosis. Upon release, extracellular NCOA4 triggers the activation of the proinflammatory transcription factor NFKB/NF-κB by promoting the degradation of NFKBIA/IκB molecules. This process is dependent on the pattern recognition receptor AGER, rather than TLR4. In vivo studies employing endotoxemia and polymicrobial sepsis mouse models reveal that a monoclonal neutralizing antibody targeting NCOA4 or AGER delays animal death, protects against organ damage, and attenuates systemic inflammation. Furthermore, elevated plasma NCOA4 levels in septic patients, particularly in non-survivors, correlate positively with the sequential organ failure assessment score and concentrations of lactate and proinflammatory mediators, such as TNF, IL1B, IL6, and HMGB1. These findings demonstrate a previously unrecognized role of extracellular NCOA4 in inflammation, suggesting it as a potential therapeutic target for severe infectious diseases. Drought stress is one of the most severe natural disasters in terms of its frequency, length, impact intensity, and associated losses, making it a significant threat to agricultural productivity. Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor), a C4 plant, shows a wide range of morphological, physiological, and biochemical adaptations in response to drought stress, paving the way for it to endure harsh environments. In arid environments, sorghum exhibits enhanced water uptake and reduced dissipation through its morphological activity, allowing it to withstand drought stress. Sorghum exhibits physiological and biochemical resistance to drought, primarily by adjusting its osmotic potential, scavenging reactive oxygen species, and changing the activities of its antioxidant enzymes. In addition, certain sorghum genes exhibit downregulation capabilities in response to drought stress. Therefore, in the current review, we explore drought tolerance in sorghum, encompassing its morphological characteristics and physiological mechanisms and the identification and selection of its functional genes. The use of modern biotechnological and molecular biological approaches to improving sorghum resistance is critical for selecting and breeding drought-tolerant sorghum varieties. Myofibrillar protein (MP), as the main meat protein, have high nutritional value. However, the relatively poor solubility of MP at low ionic strength sometimes limits the utilization of MP to produce products rich in meat protein. Accordingly, appropriate modification of MP is needed to improve their functional properties. In general, MP modification strategies are categorized into biochemical and physical approaches. Different from other available reviews, the review focuses on summarizing the principles and applications of several techniques of physical modification, briefly depicting biochemical modification as a comparison. Modification of MP with a certain intensity of direct current magnetic field, ultrasound, high pressure, microwave, or radio frequency can improve solubility, emulsification, stability, and gel formation. Of these, magnetic field and microwave-modified MP have shown some potential in reducing salt in meat. These physical techniques can also have synergistic effects with other conditions (temperature, pH, physical or chemical techniques) to compensate for the deficiencies of individual treatment techniques. However, these strategies still need further research for practical applications. Chronic arsenic exposure is considered to increase the risk of breast cancer. p62 is a multifunctional adaptor protein that controls myriad cellular processes and is overexpressed in breast cancer tissues. Although previous studies have indicated the involvement of p62 accumulation in arsenic tumorigenesis, the underlying mechanism remains obscure. Here, we found that 0.1 µM or 0.5 µM arsenite exposure for 24 weeks induced oncogenic phenotypes in human mammary epithelial cells. Elevated aerobic glycolysis, cell proliferation capacity, and activation of p62-mTOR pathway, as indicated by increased protein levels of p62, phosphorylated-mTOR (p-mTOR) and hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF1α), were observed in chronically arsenite-exposed cells, and of note in advance of the onset of oncogenic phenotypes. Moreover, p62 silencing inhibited acquisition of oncogenic phenotypes in arsenite-exposed cells. The protein levels of p-mTOR and HIF1α, as well as aerobic glycolysis and cell proliferation, were suppressed by p62 knockdown. In addition, re-activation of p‑mTOR reversed the inhibitory effects of p62 knockdown. Collectively, our data suggest that p62 exerts an oncogenic role via mTORC1 activation and acts as a key player in glucose metabolism during arsenite-induced malignant transformation, which provides a new mechanistic clue for the arsenite carcinogenesis. Background: Anesthesia techniques and drug selection may influence tumor recurrence and metastasis. Neutrophil extracellular trapping (NETosis), an immunological process, has been linked to an increased susceptibility to metastasis in individuals with tumors. Furthermore, recurrence may be associated with vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A), a mediator of angiogenesis. This study investigates the impact of lidocaine (combined with sevoflurane or propofol anesthesia) during breast cancer surgery inhibits the expression of biomarkers associated with metastasis and recurrence (specifically H3Cit, NE, MPO, MMP-9 and VEGF-A). Methods: We randomly assigned 120 women undergoing primary or invasive breast tumor resection to receive one of four anesthetics: sevoflurane (S), sevoflurane plus i.v. lidocaine (SL), propofol (P), and propofol plus i.v. lidocaine (PL). Blood samples were collected before induction and 3 h after the operation. Biomarkers associated with NETosis (citrullinated histone H3 [H3Cit], myeloperoxidase [MPO], and neutrophil elastase [NE]) and angiogenesis were quantified using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays. Results: Patient and breast tumor characteristics, along with perioperative management, did not differ between study groups. In intra-group comparisons, S and P groups demonstrated a statistically significant increase in post-operative MPO (S group: 10.39[6.89–17.22] vs. 14.31[8.55–20.87] ng ml-1, P = 0.032; P group: 9.45[6.73–17.37] vs. 14.34[9.87–19.75] ng ml-1, P = 0.035)and NE(S group: 182.70[85.66-285.85] vs. 226.20[91.85-391.65] ng ml-1, P = 0.045; P group: 154.22[97.31–325.30] vs. 308.66[132.36-483.57] ng ml-1, P = 0.037) concentrations compared to pre-operative measurements, whereas SL and PL groups did not display a similar increase. H3Cit, MMP-9, and VEGF-A concentrations were not significantly influenced by the anesthesia techniques and drugs. Conclusions: Regardless of the specific technique employed for general anesthesia, there was no increase in the postoperative serum concentrations of MPO and NE after perioperative lidocaine infusion compared to preoperative serum concentrations. This supports the hypothesis that intravenous lidocaine during cancer surgery aimed at achieving a cure may potentially decrease the likelihood of recurrence. Further interpretation and discussion of clinical implications are warranted, emphasizing the significance of these findings in the context of cancer surgery and recurrence prevention. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) activates the Toll-like receptor (TLR)-4 sensor on the cell membrane of macrophages, triggering myeloid differentiation primary response 88 (MYD88)-dependent and independent pathways and subsequent activation of the nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) or interferon regulatory factor (IRF) transcription factors. Gram-negative bacteria use outer membrane vesicles and toxin-mediated pathways to deliver LPS into macrophages, triggering inflammasome activation in mouse models of sepsis. The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein binds LPS, thereby activating the NF-κB pathway in human monocytes and in mice. Hepatocytes and lung epithelial cells secrete proteins high mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) and secretoglobin family 3A member 2 (SCGB3A2), along with extracellular vesicles derived from serum, to transport LPS into macrophages; this consequently activates caspase (CASP)-11/4/5-dependent inflammasomes. LPS delivery systems have a pivotal role in initiating non-canonical NOD-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome activation, leading to the release of interleukin (IL)-1β and IL18, and contributing to lethal infection in mouse models. LPS, commonly known as endotoxin, is a complex molecule primarily found in the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, and has a crucial role in triggering inflammatory responses. Recent studies have illuminated LPS delivery systems used by both pathogens and hosts, providing insights into host–pathogen interactions. Modulating these delivery pathways could help regulate immune responses, potentially leading to the development of new treatments for infectious diseases, sepsis, and other inflammatory conditions. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS), a key component of the outer membrane in Gram-negative bacteria (GNB), is widely recognized for its crucial role in mammalian innate immunity and its link to mortality in intensive care units. While its recognition via the Toll-like receptor (TLR)-4 receptor on cell membranes is well established, the activation of the cytosolic receptor caspase-11 by LPS is now known to lead to inflammasome activation and subsequent induction of pyroptosis. Nevertheless, a fundamental question persists regarding the mechanism by which LPS enters host cells. Recent investigations have identified at least four primary pathways that can facilitate this process: bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs); the spike (S) protein of SARS-CoV-2; host-secreted proteins; and host extracellular vesicles (EVs). Achieving circularly polarized organic ultralong room‐temperature phosphorescence (CP‐OURTP) with a high luminescent dissymmetry factor (glum) is crucial for diverse optoelectronic applications. In particular, dynamically controlling the dissymmetry factor of CP‐OURTP can profoundly advance these applications, but it is still unprecedented. This study introduces an effective strategy to achieve photoirradiation‐driven chirality regulation in a bilayered structure film, which consists of a layer of soft helical superstructure incorporated with a light‐driven molecular motor and a layer of room‐temperature phosphorescent (RTP) polymer. The prepared bilayered film exhibits CP‐OURTP with an emission lifetime of 805 ms and a glum value up to 1.38. Remarkably, the glum value of the resulting CP‐OURTP film can be reversibly controlled between 0.6 and 1.38 over 20 cycles by light irradiation, representing the first example of dynamically controlling the glum in CP‐OURTP. As the ability to collect profiling data in metabolomics increases substantially with the advances in Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) instruments, it is urgent to develop new and powerful data analysis approaches to match the big data collected and to extract as much meaningful information as possible from tens of thousands of molecular features. Here, we applied weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), an algorithm popularly used in microarray or RNA sequencing, to plasma metabolomic data and demonstrated several advantages of WGCNA over conventional statistical approaches such as principal component analysis (PCA) and partial least squares discriminant analysis (PLS-DA). By using WGCNA, a large number of molecular features were clustered into a few modules to reduce the dimension of a dataset, the impact of phenotypic traits such as diet type and genotype on the plasma metabolome was evaluated quantitatively, and hub metabolites were found based on the network graph. Oxygen is crucial for converting glucose to gluconic acid catalyzed by glucose oxidase (Gox). However, industrial gluconic acid production faces oxygen supply limitations. To enhance Gox efficiency, Vitreoscilla hemoglobin (VHb) has been considered as an efficient oxygen transfer carrier. This study identified GoxA, a specific isoform of Gox in the industrial gluconic acid-producing strain of Aspergillus niger. Various forms of VHb expression in A. niger were tested to improve GoxA's catalytic efficiency. Surprisingly, the expression of free VHb, both intracellularly and extracellularly, did not promote gluconic acid production during shake flask fermentation. Then, five fusion proteins were constructed by linking Gox and VHb using various methods. Among these, VHb-GS1-GoxA, where VHb's C-terminus connected to GoxA's N-terminus via the flexible linker GS1, demonstrated a significantly higher Kcat/Km value (96% higher) than GoxA. Unfortunately, the expression of VHb-GS1-GoxA in A. niger was limited, resulting in a low gluconic acid production of 3.0 g/L. To overcome the low expression problem, single- and dual-strain systems were designed with tools of SpyCatcher/SpyTag and SnoopCatcher/SnoopTag. In these systems, Gox and VHb were separately expressed and then self-assembled into complex proteins. Impressively, the single-strain system outperformed the GoxA overexpression strain S1971, resulting in 23% and 9% higher gluconic acid production under 0.6 vvm and 1.2 vvm aeration conditions in the bioreactor fermentation, respectively. The successful construction of Gox and VHb fusion or complex proteins, as proposed in this study, presents promising approaches to enhance Gox catalytic efficiency and lower aerodynamic costs in gluconic acid production. Cotton growth and yield are severely affected by abiotic stress worldwide. Mepiquate chloride (MC) and melatonin (MT) enhance crop growth and yield by reducing the negative effects of abiotic stress on various crops. Numerous studies have shown the pivotal role of MC and MT in regulating agricultural growth and yield. Nevertheless, an in-depth review of the prominent performance of these two hormones in controlling plant morpho-physiological activity and yield in cotton under abiotic stress still needs to be documented. This review highlights the effects of MC and MT on cotton morpho-physiological and biochemical activities; their biosynthetic, signaling, and transduction pathways; and yield under abiotic stress. Furthermore, we also describe some genes whose expressions are affected by these hormones when cotton plants are exposed to abiotic stress. The present review demonstrates that MC and MT alleviate the negative effects of abiotic stress in cotton and increase yield by improving its morpho-physiological and biochemical activities, such as cell enlargement; net photosynthesis activity; cytokinin contents; and the expression of antioxidant enzymes such as catalase, peroxidase, and superoxide dismutase. MT delays the expression of NCED1 and NCED2 genes involved in leaf senescence by decreasing the expression of ABA-biosynthesis genes and increasing the expression of the GhYUC5, GhGA3ox2, and GhIPT2 genes involved in indole-3-acetic acid, gibberellin, and cytokinin biosynthesis. Likewise, MC promotes lateral root formation by activating GA20x genes involved in gibberellin catabolism. Overall, MC and MT improve cotton's physiological activity and antioxidant capacity and, as a result, improve the ability of the plant to resist abiotic stress. The main purpose of this review is to present an in-depth analysis of the performance of MC and MT under abiotic stress, which might help to better understand how these two hormones regulate cotton growth and productivity. In communication, rhetors are inclined to employ contentious rhetorical modes designed to win or compete. Consequently, noncontentious rhetorical modes, such as invitational rhetoric, are underappreciated. This study fosters a better understanding of the rationale and possibility of noncontentious rhetorical modes rooted in texts by traditional Chinese intellectuals. We identify, classify, and interpret indigenous terms identified with speech/word radicals in nine Chinese philosophical classics across five major schools of thought in ancient China using a corpus-driven approach and key concepts of rhetorical studies to delineate the pattern, components, and modes of ancient Chinese rhetoric. The results show that (1) characters with speech/word radicals in ancient Chinese texts follow a pattern between rank and frequency; (2) basic components of rhetorical acts in ancient China can be described based on these terms, and characteristic rhetorical components are identified upon similarities and differences among five schools of thought; and (3) studying rhetorical modes of ancient Chinese rhetoric with speech/word radicals reveals that intellectuals in ancient China adopted both the contentious modes and the noncontentious modes of rhetoric. Marine-capture shrimp is a general term for a type of shrimp that is different from marine-aquaculture shrimp. It is rich in protein, trace elements, and essential amino acids. It is an aquatic product with delicious meat and high nutritional and economic value. Most marine-capture shrimp are consumed fresh, with a small proportion subjected to processing. However, marine-capture shrimp is a highly perishable aquatic product, and hence, extensive preservation and processing methods have been developed to extend its shelf life. This review presents the current status of marine-capture shrimp in the world and the key issues (spoilage and melanization inhibition) regarding marine-capture shrimp preservation. Low-temperature preservation remains the predominant strategy for preserving marine-capture shrimp. Different preservation strategies combined with low temperature would maintain the quality of marine-capture shrimp more effectively, thereby extending the shelf life of the shrimp. The advantages and disadvantages of various preservation technologies are comprehensively considered and compared, as well as their scope of application. New processing technologies should be introduced, and various preservation technologies with complementary advantages should be organically combined to achieve the best preservation effect on marine-capture shrimp. In the context that coal remains the main energy source of China now, the safety of coal mine production is still worth our attention. For the factors influencing the roof accident of coal mine roadway have great complexity and uncertainty, a new risk prediction method of coal mine roof accidents integrating T‐S fuzzy fault tree and Bayesian network (BN) is proposed. The constructed method determines the BN and the conditional probability tables according to the established T‐S fuzzy fault tree. The fault state and fuzzy fault rate of root nodes are described according to the fuzzy number. And the forward inference of Bayesian is used to calculate the probability of the accidents on the roadway roof based on the fault probability of the root nodes and actual fault probability during construction respectively, to realize the risk prediction of roof accidents. Finally, practical data are used to verify the new fusion risk evaluation method by taking two mines as cases. The results show that the influencing factors calculated by the new fusion risk prediction method are completely consistent with the actual situation, confirming the effectiveness and reliability of this method, which providing new ideas for the research about the risk prediction of coal mine roof accidents. As a good carbon source and soil conditioner, biochar is widely used in acidic soils but seldom in alkaline soils due to its high pH. In this study, cotton straw biochar was modified with five different acidic materials to obtain wood-vinegar- (WBC), monosodium-glutamate (MSG)-wastewater- (MBC), citric-acid- (CBC), phosphoric-acid- (PBC), and nitric-acid-modified biochars (NBC), and three dosages were used for each modifier. The pristine and modified biochars were characterized with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Fourier-transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The biochar properties such as pH, specific surface area (SSA), and elemental contents were measured. In addition, the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) model based on entropy weight was used to evaluate the application potential of the biochars in alkaline soils. The FTIR spectra showed that modification with the five acidic materials, MSG wastewater in particular, resulted in more oxygen-containing functional groups such as O-H, C=O, and C-O on the biochar surface. In addition, acid modification greatly decreased the pH: phosphoric acid modification significantly decreased the pH of cotton straw biochar by 5.71–7.88 units. For the same modifier, a higher dosage (i.e., a smaller biochar:modifier ratio) led to a larger decrease in the pH of cotton straw biochar. The magnitudes of increase in total soluble salt content followed the general order of CBCs > PBCs > WBCs > NBCs > MBCs. The SSA, average pore diameter, and total pore volume of biochar were changed as well. Modification using wood vinegar and MSG wastewater significantly decreased the SSA of cotton straw biochar by 15.58–16.24 m2 g−1 (82.7–86.2%) and 15.87–16.80 m2 g−1 (84.2–89.2%), respectively, whereas modification using citric acid and nitric acid significantly increased the SSA of cotton straw biochar by 4.51–4.66 m2 g−1 (23.9–24.7%) and 0.55–54.21 m2 g−1 (2.9–287.7%). The evaluation based on entropy weight TOPSIS model suggested that the MBCs have the highest potential for application in alkaline soils. This study presents a theoretical basis for evaluation of biochar application potential, demonstrates a way of improving biochar application potential, and provides a support for beneficial utilization of agricultural and industrial wastes such as cotton straw, wood vinegar, and MSG wastewater. In this paper, the finite-time stability for a class of switched homogeneous positive systems (SHPSs) is discussed. First, each subsystem is assumed to be finite-time stable and the degree of homogeneity satisfies 0 < a < 1. A new variable cyclic dwell-time approach is proposed, which allows for greater flexibility in switching signal design than the existing cyclic dwell-time approach. By virtue of the variable cyclic dwell-time and switched max-type separated Lyapunov function methods, the finite-time stability criterion for SHPSs is established and the settling time is obtained. Moreover, the stability result is extended to SHPSs containing unstable subsystems. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis. Nickel‐iron based hydr(oxy)oxides have been well recognized as one of the best oxygen‐evolving catalysts in alkaline water electrolysis. A crucial problem, however, is that iron leakage during prolonged operation would lead to the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) deactivation over time, especially under large current densities. Here, the NiFe‐based Prussian blue analogue (PBA) is designed as a structure‐flexible precursor for navigating an electrochemical self‐reconstruction (ECSR) with Fe cation compensation to fabricate a highly active hydr(oxy)oxide (NiFeOxHy) catalyst stabilized with NiFe synergic active sites. The generated NiFeOxHy catalyst exhibits the low overpotentials of 302 and 313 mV required to afford large current densities of 500 and 1000 mA cm−2, respectively. Moreover, its robust stability over 500 h at 500 mA cm−2 stands out among the NiFe‐based OER catalysts reported previously. Various in/ex situ studies indicate that the Fe fixation by dynamic reconstruction process can reinforce the Fe‐activated effect on the OER amenable to the industrial‐level large current conditions against the Fe leakage. Background. With the continuous advancement of clinical application and experimental research of JTP, the application prospect of JTP in nervous system diseases and metabolic diseases is becoming increasingly clear. Jiaotai Pill (JTP) is a traditional Chinese medicine formula for insomnia, consisting of Coptidis rhizoma and Cinnamomi cortex, which dates back to Han Shi Yi Tong in the Ming Dynasty of China. Objective. Based on the brain-gut axis theory, this paper aims to explore the potential mechanism of JTP in the intervention of insomnia by using intestinal microbiome and metabolomics technology, taking the animal model of insomnia as the research object, so as to provide experimental basis for its further application and research. Methods. The insomnia mouse model was induced by intraperitoneal injection of para-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA). The clinical equivalent dose of JTP was administered by gavage for one week. The efficacy of JTP was evaluated by behavioral tests, serum biochemical detection, and brain histomorphological observation. The contents of cecum were analyzed by microbiomics and metabolomics. Results. The results show that insomnia caused by PCPA led to daytime dysfunction, higher HPA axis hormone levels, and morphologically impaired hippocampus. JTP reversed these anomalies. Omics research indicates that JTP significantly reduced gut α diversity; at the phylum level, JTP reduced the relative abundance of Firmicutes, Deferribacterota, Cyanobacteria, and Actinobacteriota and increased the relative abundance of Verrucomicrobiota, Proteobacteria, and Desulfobacterota. At the genus level, JTP reduced the relative abundance of Muribaculaceae, Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group, Alistipes, Colidextribacter, Muribaculum, and Mucispirillum and increased the relative abundance of Bacteroides and Akkermansia. JTP also reversed the activation of the linoleic acid metabolism pathway induced by insomnia. The combined analysis of omics suggests that JTP may play a role by regulating the inflammatory state of the body. Further gene expression analysis of brain tissue confirmed this. Conclusions. We hypothesize that JTP may achieve insomnia relief by eliminating inflammation-causing bacteria in the gut and reducing inflammation levels through the brain-gut axis, pointing to potential targets and pathways for future research on JTP. Nanolobatone A, featuring an unprecedented tricyclo[10.3.0.01,2]pentadecane carbon skeleton, along with four new polyoxygenated and four unusual endoperoxide‐bridged casbane‐type diterpenoids were isolated from the Hainan soft coral Sinularia nanolobata. The structures of the new compounds were established by extensive spectroscopic analysis, X‐ray diffraction analysis, and time‐dependent density functional theory/electronic circular dichroism calculations. A plausible biosynthetic pathway of new isolates was proposed. Bioassays revealed that nanolobatone A showed weak antibacterial activity against the Gram‐positive bacteria Streptococcus pyogenes. Citric acid is widely used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Aspergillus niger is the workhorse used for citric acid production in industry. A canonical citrate biosynthesis that occurred in mitochondria was well established; however, some research suggested that the cytosolic citrate biosynthesis pathway may play a role in this chemical production. Here, the roles of cytosolic phosphoketolase (PK), acetate kinase (ACK) and acetyl-CoA synthetase (ACS) in citrate biosynthesis were investigated by gene deletion and complementation in A. niger. The results indicated that PK, ACK and ACS were important for cytosolic acetyl-CoA accumulation and had significant effects on citric acid biosynthesis. Subsequently, the functions of variant PKs and phosphotransacetylase (PTA) were evaluated, and their efficiencies were determined. Finally, an efficient PK-PTA pathway was reconstructed in A. niger S469 with Ca-PK from Clostridium acetobutylicum and Ts-PTA from Thermoanaerobacterium saccharolyticum. The resultant strain showed an increase of 96.4% and 88% in the citrate titer and yield, respectively, compared with the parent strain in the bioreactor fermentation. These findings indicate that the cytosolic citrate biosynthesis pathway is important for citric acid biosynthesis, and increasing the cytosolic acetyl-CoA level can significantly enhance citric acid production. Flexible conductive materials with intrinsic structural characteristics are currently in the spotlight of both fundamental science and advanced technological applications due to their functional preponderances such as the remarkable conductivity, excellent mechanical properties, and tunable physical and chemical properties, and so on. Typically, conductive hydrogel fibers (CHFs) are promising candidates owing to their unique characteristics including light weight, high length‐to‐diameter ratio, high deformability, and so on. Herein, a comprehensive overview of the cutting‐edge advances the CHFs involving the architectural features, function characteristics, fabrication strategies, applications, and perspectives in flexible electronics are provided. The fundamental design principles and fabrication strategies are systematically introduced including the discontinuous fabrication (the capillary polymerization and the draw spinning) and the continuous fabrication (the wet spinning, the microfluidic spinning, 3D printing, and the electrospinning). In addition, their potential applications are crucially emphasized such as flexible energy harvesting devices, flexible energy storage devices, flexible smart sensors, and flexible biomedical electronics. This review concludes with a perspective on the challenges and opportunities of such attractive CHFs, allowing for better understanding of the fundamentals and the development of advanced conductive hydrogel materials. Plant growth often encounters diverse abiotic stresses. As a global resource-based ecological problem, salinity is widely distributed and one of the major abiotic stresses affecting crop yields worldwide. Sorghum, a cereal crop with medium salt tolerance and great value for the development and utilization of salted soils, is an important source of food, brewing, energy, and forage production. However, in soils with high salt concentrations, sorghum experiences low emergence and suppressed metabolism. It has been demonstrated that the effects of salt stress on germination and seedling growth can be effectively mitigated to a certain extent by the exogenous amendment of hormonal gibberellin (GA). At present, most of the studies on sorghum salt tolerance at home and abroad focus on morphological and physiological levels, including the transcriptome analysis of the exogenous hormone on sorghum salt stress tolerance, the salt tolerance metabolism pathway, and the mining of key salt tolerance regulation genes. The high-throughput sequencing technology is increasingly widely used in the study of crop resistance, which is of great significance to the study of plant resistance gene excavation and mechanism. In this study, we aimed to review the effects of the exogenous hormone GA on leaf morphological traits of sorghum seedlings and further analyze the physiological response of sorghum seedling leaves and the regulation of sorghum growth and development. This review not only focuses on the role of GA but also explores the signal transduction pathways of GA and the performance of their responsive genes under salt stress, thus helping to further clarify the mechanism of regulating growth and production under salt stress. Intracellular polyols are used as osmoprotectants by many plants under environmental stress. However, few studies have shown the role of polyol transporters in the tolerance of plants to abiotic stresses. Here, we describe the expression characteristics and potential functions of Lotus japonicus polyol transporter LjPLT3 under salt stress. Using LjPLT3 promoter-reporter gene plants showed that LjPLT3 was expressed in the vascular tissue of L. japonicus leaf, stem, root, and nodule. The expression was also induced by NaCl treatment. Overexpression of LjPLT3 in L. japonicus modified the growth rate and saline tolerance of the transgenic plants. The OELjPLT3 seedlings displayed reduced plant height under both nitrogen-sufficient and symbiotic nitrogen fixation conditions when 4 weeks old. The nodule number of OELjPLT3 plants was reduced by 6.7–27.4% when 4 weeks old. After exposure to a NaCl treatment in Petri dishes for 10 days, OELjPLT3 seedlings had a higher chlorophyll concentration, fresh weight, and survival rate than those in the wild type. For symbiotic nitrogen fixation conditions, the decrease in nitrogenase activity of OELjPLT3 plants was slower than that of the wild type after salt treatment. Compared to the wild type, both the accumulation of small organic molecules and the activity of antioxidant enzymes were higher under salt stress. Considering the concentration of lower reactive oxygen species (ROS) in transgenic lines, we speculate that overexpression of LjPLT3 in L. japonicus might improve the ROS scavenging system to alleviate the oxidative damage caused by salt stress, thereby increasing plant salinity tolerance. Background: Although neuromuscular blocker agents (NMBAs) are recommended by guidelines as a treatment for ARDS patients, the efficacy of NMBAs is still controversial. Our study aimed to investigate the association between cisatracurium infusion and the medium- and long-term outcomes of critically ill patients with moderate and severe ARDS. Methods: We performed a single-center, retrospective study of 485 critically ill adult patients with ARDS based on the Medical Information Mart for Intensive Care III (MIMIC-III) database. Propensity score matching (PSM) was used to match patients receiving NMBA administration with those not receiving NMBAs. The Cox proportional hazards model, Kaplan–Meier method, and subgroup analysis were used to evaluate the relationship between NMBA therapy and 28-day mortality. Results: A total of 485 moderate and severe patients with ARDS were reviewed and 86 pairs of patients were matched after PSM. NMBAs were not associated with reduced 28-day mortality (hazard ratio (HR) 1.44; 95% CI: 0.85~2.46; p = 0.20), 90-day mortality (HR = 1.49; 95% CI: 0.92~2.41; p = 0.10), 1-year mortality (HR = 1.34; 95% CI: 0.86~2.09; p = 0.20), or hospital mortality (HR = 1.34; 95% CI: 0.81~2.24; p = 0.30). However, NMBAs were associated with a prolonged duration of ventilation and the length of ICU stay. This study aims to examine how job resources, demands, and self‐efficacy affect American STEM teachers' job satisfaction by analyzing the US TALIS 2018 data. Multiple regression and commonality analysis were used to analyze factors' significant contributions and their detailed real unique and common contributions to STEM teachers' job satisfaction. The results show that the final model explains 29.6% of the variances of STEM teachers' job satisfaction. The commonality analysis further showed that job resources, job demands, and job self‐efficacy explained 23.5%, 8.6%, and 8.0% of variances of job satisfaction, respectively. However, these factor sets uniquely contributed 15.9%, 2.9%, and 2.1% of the variance, separately. This study confirms the validity of the revised job demands−resources model for STEM teachers' job satisfaction. Furthermore, the commonality analysis reveals the unique and independent contributions of job demands, resources, and self‐efficacy to job satisfaction. Results from the research identified the significance of job resources contributing to the improvement of STEM teachers' job satisfaction. Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of enteral fluid resuscitation (via nasointestinal tube or colorectal tube) and intravenous fluid resuscitation (via intravenous route) in the early treatment of severe acute pancreatitis. Methods: In this study, 8 electronic databases (PubMed, Web of Science, Embase, Cochrane Library, Scopus, China HowNet database, Wanfang database, and VIP database) were searched to collect clinical studies from inception to June 12, 2022. After the quality evaluation and data extraction of the included studies, the RevMan 5.3 software was used for analysis. Results: A total of seven studies including 580 patients were studied in this meta-analysis, in which 291 cases were treated with enteral fluid resuscitation and 289 cases were treated with intravenous fluid resuscitation. Compared with the intravenous route group, the enteral route resuscitation group reduced the incidence of new organ failure (OR = 0.23, 95% CI: 0.12–0.43, P < 0.00001), the incidence of persistent organ failure (OR = 0.38, 95% CI: 0.22–0.64, P = 0.0003), the incidence of mechanical ventilation (OR = 0.15, 95% CI: 0.03–0.69, P = 0.01), the incidence of ICU care (OR = 0.49, 95% CI: 0.27–0.88, P = 0.02), and the incidence of pancreatic infection (OR = 0.38, 95% CI: 0.17–0.83, P = 0.02). There were no statistically significant differences in mortality (OR = 0.77, 95% CI: 0.35–1.66, P = 0.50), surgical intervention rate (OR = 0.47, 95% CI: 0.19–1.18, P = 0.11), and incidence of localized ascites (OR = 0.65, 95% CI: 0.25–1.73, P = 0.39). Conclusion: Early enteral fluid resuscitation is safe and effective for in severe pancreatitis. The Scotogenic model extends the standard model with three singlet fermion Ni and one inert doublet scalar η to address the common origin of tiny neutrino mass and dark matter. For fermion dark matter N1, a hierarchical Yukawa structure ∣ y 1 e ∣ ≪ ∣ y 1 μ ∣ ∼ ∣ y 1 τ ∣ ∼ O 1 is usually favored to satisfy constraints from lepton flavor violation and relic density. Such large μ-related Yukawa coupling would greatly enhance the pair production of charged scalar η± at the muon collider. In this paper, we investigate the dilepton and mono-photon signature of the Scotogenic model at a 14 TeV muon collider. For the dimuon signature , we find that most viable samples can be probed with 200 fb−1 data. The ditau signature is usually less promising, but it is important to probe the small |y1μ| region. The mono-photon signature could also probe the compressed mass region M1 ≲ M η ± . As a type of lytic cell death driven by unrestricted lipid peroxidation and subsequent plasma membrane damage, ferroptosis occurs and develops because of sophisticated signals and regulatory mechanisms. The reactive oxygen species (ROS) used to initiate ferroptosis come from a variety of sources, including iron‐mediated Fenton reactions, mitochondrial ROS, and membrane‐associated ROS driven by the NOX protein family. Polyunsaturated fatty acid‐containing phospholipids are the main substrates of lipid peroxidation in ferroptosis, which is positively regulated by enzymes, such as ACSL4, LPCAT3, ALOXs, or POR. Selective activation of autophagic degradation pathways promotes ferroptosis by increasing iron accumulation to cause lipid peroxidation. In contrast, system xc–‐glutathione–GPX4 axis plays a central role in limiting lipid peroxidation, although other antioxidants (such as coenzyme Q10 and tetrahydrobiopterin) can also inhibit ferroptosis. A main nuclear mechanism of cell defense against ferroptosis is the activation of the NFE2L2‐dependent antioxidant response by transcriptionally upregulating the expression of antioxidants or cytoprotective genes. Additionally, the membrane damage caused by ferroptotic stimulus can be repaired by ESCRT‐III‐dependent membrane scission machinery. Background. The incidence of diabetes is increasing year by year. For elderly diabetic patients, poor blood glucose control and worsening immune function greatly increase the risk of complications, which will seriously affect their quality of life. Purpose. This paper primarily clarifies the influence of information-based continuous care on disease control and treatment compliance of elderly diabetic patients. Methods. From December 2018 to December 2021, 106 elderly diabetic patients were selected, and their clinical data were retrospectively studied. Patients were grouped according to the type of care they received: an observation group (OG) comprising 56 cases receiving information-based continuous care and a control group (CG) including 50 cases treated with routine nursing. The two cohorts of patients were compared regarding disease control, treatment compliance, glucose and lipid metabolism (GLM), and self-management. Results. After analysis, it was found that the disease control and treatment compliance were statistically higher in OG compared with CG. OG also showed significantly reduced fasting blood glucose (FBG), 2-hour postprandial blood glucose (2hPG), total cholesterol (TC), and triglyceride (TG) after nursing that were all lower compared with CG. In terms of self-management, OG outperformed CG in diet, exercise, blood glucose monitoring, and adherence to medical regimens. Conclusions. Information-based continuous care has beneficial effects on disease control and treatment compliance of elderly diabetic patients and can help control blood sugar and optimize patients' self-management level, with high clinical promotion value. Sorghum ("Jitian 3") is a salt-tolerant seed cultivar used regularly in marginal lands, such as those with saline soils. Herein, we examined the potential of employing gibberellic acid (GA3) as an inducer of sorghum development during salt stress. Thus far, there have been no reports on the signaling network involved in the GA3-mediated regulation of sorghum development. In this study, we demonstrated that the stimulating properties of 50 mg/L GA3 on sorghum development was far superior to other GA3 concentrations under a 150 mM NaCl salinity condition. Furthermore, using methylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (MeRIP-seq), we established an m6A methylation (m6A-M) profile in sorghum following exposure to 50 mg/L GA3. Overall, 23,363 m6A peaks and 16,200 m6A genes were screened among the GA3-treated and control leaves. These identified peaks were shown to be primarily enriched in the coding, as were the 3′- and 5′-untranslated regions. In addition, we employed m6A and transcript expression cross-analysis to identify 70 genes with differential transcript expression and simultaneous m6A-M. Intriguingly, the principal gene, LOC8066282, which is associated with LOC8084853, was shown to be intricately linked to the phosphatidylinositol signaling, which in turn regulates sorghum development and response to salt stress. This investigation presents a novel RNA m6A-M profile in sorghum, which may facilitate new insights into the underlying signaling behind salt stress resistance. Background: The mortality of extensively drug-resistant Gram-negative (XDR GN) bacilli-induced ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) is extremely high. The purpose of this study was to compare the efficacy and safety of inhaled (IH) plus intravenous (IV) polymyxin B versus IV polymyxin B in XDR GN bacilli VAP patients. Methods: A retrospective multi-center observational cohort study was performed at eight ICUs between January 1st 2018, and January 1st 2020 in China. Data from all patients treated with polymyxin B for a microbiologically confirmed VAP were analyzed. The primary endpoint was the clinical cure of VAP. The favorable clinical outcome, microbiological outcome, VAP-related mortality and all-cause mortality during hospitalization, and side effects related with polymyxin B were secondary endpoints. Favorable clinical outcome included clinical cure or clinical improvement. Results: 151 patients and 46 patients were treated with IV polymyxin B and IH plus IV polymyxin B, respectively. XDR Klebsiella pneumoniae was the main isolated pathogen (n = 83, 42.1%). After matching on age (± 5 years), gender, septic shock, and Apache II score (± 4 points) when polymyxin B was started, 132 patients were included. 44 patients received simultaneous IH plus IV polymyxin B and 88 patients received IV polymyxin B. The rates of clinical cure (43.2% vs 27.3%, p = 0.066), bacterial eradication (36.4% vs 23.9%, p = 0.132) as well as VAP-related mortality (27.3% vs 34.1%, p = 0.428), all-cause mortality (34.1% vs 42.0%, p = 0.378) did not show any significant difference between the two groups. However, IH plus IV polymyxin B therapy was associated with improved favorable clinical outcome (77.3% vs 58.0%, p = 0.029). Patients in the different subgroups (admitted with medical etiology, infected with XDR K. pneumoniae, without bacteremia, with immunosuppressive status) were with odd ratios (ORs) in favor of the combined therapy. No patient required polymyxin B discontinuation due to adverse events. Additional use of IH polymyxin B (aOR 2.63, 95% CI 1.06, 6.66, p = 0.037) was an independent factor associated with favorable clinical outcome. Conclusions: The addition of low-dose IH polymyxin B to low-dose IV polymyxin B did not provide efficient clinical cure and bacterial eradication in VAP caused by XDR GN bacilli. Keypoints Additional use of IH polymyxin B was the sole independent risk factor of favorable clinical outcome. Patients in the different subgroups were with HRs substantially favoring additional use of IH polymyxin B. No patients required polymyxin B discontinuation due to adverse events. Cardiac fibrosis is a common pathophysiologic process associated with numerous cardiovascular diseases, resulting in cardiac dysfunction. Cardiac fibroblasts (CFs) play an important role in the production of the extracellular matrix and are the essential cell type in a quiescent state in a healthy heart. In response to diverse pathologic stress and environmental stress, resident CFs convert to activated fibroblasts, referred to as myofibroblasts, which produce more extracellular matrix, contributing to cardiac fibrosis. Although multiple molecular mechanisms are implicated in CFs activation and cardiac fibrosis, there is increasing evidence that epigenetic regulation plays a key role in this process. Epigenetics is a rapidly growing field in biology, and provides a modulated link between pathological stimuli and gene expression profiles, ultimately leading to corresponding pathological changes. Epigenetic modifications are mainly composed of three main categories: DNA methylation, histone modifications, and non-coding RNAs. This review focuses on recent advances regarding epigenetic regulation in cardiac fibrosis and highlights the effects of epigenetic modifications on CFs activation. Pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) were widely present in the water environment, posing a threat to both the ecological environment and human health. Dissolved organic matter (DOM) was ubiquitous in aquatic system and could form strong complexes with PPCPs, thereby interfering with accurate quantification. This paper proposed a novel method that utilized ultraviolet differential spectroscopy to accurately quantify PPCPs in DOM-PPCPs coexisting systems. A linear regression equation was established between UV–vis absorbance change (ΔA) at the characteristic peaks of specific PPCP and its concentration, resulting in the creation of a standard curve. The coefficient of determination (R2) of the linear regression equations established by four DOM (humic acid, fulvic acid, bovine serum albumin and sodium alginate) and the given PPCPs were consistently above 92 %. Moreover, real water samples were collected for the purpose of conducting a standard recovery experiment. The recovery rates of three types of PPCPs (carbamazepine, sodium sulfadiazine and triclosan) ranged from 90 % to 120 %, suggesting the feasibility of quantifying PPCPs in the DOM-PPCPs coexisting system using this method. —Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a pivotal virus leading to acute lower respiratory tract infections in children under 5 years old. This study aimed to explore the correlation between p53 and Toll-like receptors (TLRs) post RSV infection. p53 levels exhibited a substantial decrease in nasopharyngeal aspirates (NPAs) from infants with RSV infection compared to control group. Manipulating p53 expression had no significant impact on RSV replication or interferon signaling pathway. Suppression of p53 expression led to heightened inflammation following RSV infection in A549 cells or airways of BALB/c mice. while stabilizing p53 expression using Nutlin-3a mitigated the inflammatory response in A549 cells. Additionally, Inhibiting p53 expression significantly increased Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) expression in RSV-infected epithelial cells and BALB/c mice. Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), which has posed substantial threats to the swine industry worldwide, is primarily characterized by interstitial pneumonia. A disintegrin and metalloproteinase 17 (ADAM17) is a multifunctional sheddase involved in various inflammatory diseases. Herein, our study showed that PRRS virus (PRRSV) infection elevated ADAM17 activity, as demonstrated in primary porcine alveolar macrophages (PAMs), an immortalized PAM cell line (IPAM cells), and the lung tissues of PRRSV-infected piglets. We found that PRRSV infection promoted ADAM17 translocation from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi by enhancing its interaction with inactive rhomboid protein 2 (iRhom2), a newly identified ADAM17 regulator, which in turn elevated ADAM17 activity. By screening for PRRSV-encoded structural proteins, viral envelope (E) and nucleocapsid (N) proteins were identified as the predominant ADAM17 activators. E and N proteins bind with both ADAM17 and iRhom2 to form ternary protein complexes, ultimately strengthening their interactions. Additionally, we demonstrated, using an ADAM17-knockout cell line, that ADAM17 augmented the shedding of soluble TNF-α, a pivotal inflammatory mediator. We also discovered that ADAM17-mediated cleavage of porcine TNF-α occurred between Arg-78 and Ser-79. By constructing a precision mutant cell line with Arg-78-Glu/Ser-79-Glu substitution mutations in TNF-α, we further revealed that the ADAM17-mediated production of soluble TNF-α contributed to the induction of inflammatory responses by PRRSV and its E and N proteins. Background: The distant metastasis is the primary cause of cancer morbidity and mortality for bladder cancer (BLCA) paitents. All the recommended therapy for it largely depends on how far the cancer has invaded. It has been confirmed that epithelial to mesenchymal transition (EMT) is the leading reason for the BLCA metastasis which makes BLCA difficult to cure. The aim of the present study is to identify the BLCA-related genes that can be used as the new prognostic biomarker and treatment target, and to investigate the functional mechanisms of TEAD4 in EMT dysregulation. Methods: The "limma" R package was used to identify the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between the normal and the tumor samples from TCGA BLCA and GTEx databases. Kaplan–Meier and UniCox analysis were used to filter DEGs with prognostic value in BLCA. Step muti-Cox analysis was used to construct a prognostic risk score model based on clinical phenotype characters. Gene set enrichment analysis (GSEA) was performed to explore the possible molecular mechanisms affecting the prognosis in BLCA. Unsupervised hierarchical clustering analysis was performed to evaluate the effects of EMT process on the prognosis. Single-sample GSEA (ssGSEA) was used to calculate the correlation betweeen the expression of DEGs and EMT enrichment scores. TEAD4 expression and its association with pathological grading and survival were appraised in samples from TCGA dataset and BLCA tissue microarray. Colony formation assays and CCK8 assays were performed to study the changes in BLCA cell proliferation when the TEAD4 levels was down- or up-regulated in BLCA cells. Transwell and wound healing assays were utilized to analyze the impact of TEAD4 on the invasion and metastasis of the BLCA cells. Western Blot was carried out to detect the changes of EMT-related markers and the active molecules involved in PI3K/AKT signaling in BLCA cells. Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis was conducted on the genes related to TEAD4 expression. 740Y-P (activator of PI3K/AKT pathway) and LY294002 (inhibitor of PI3K/AKT pathway) were applied to evaluate the contribution of PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in the EMT of BLCA cells. To examine the in vivo effect of TEAD4 on tumor metastasis, we designed a metastatic nude-mouse model by tail vein injection of TEAD4-knockdown BLCA cells. And PET/CT imaging was used to assess the extent of lung metastases. Results: A total of 1592 DEGs were recognized, among which 4 DEGs have been identified as independent prognostic factors for BLCA, such as FASN, IGFL2, PLOD1 and TEAD4. TCGA BLCA samples were divided into significantly different low- and high-risk groups according to the median risk score; GSEA analysis showed that HALLMARK EMT pathway was the top enriched gene signature when compared high-risk and low-risk groups, which was also verified by unsupervised cluster analysis. EMT signature-derived ssGSEA scores demonstrated that TEAD4 had the most positive correlation with EMT process. In addition, TEAD4 expression was upregulated in TCGA BLCA samples and correlated with pT stage, tumor stage and tumor grade. Functional studies showed that TEAD4 knockdown via lentiviral TEAD4 shRNA inhibited cell migration and invasion in vitro and in vivo, with the reduced expression of EMT related markers in BLCA cell lines; the migration and invasion of TEAD4 knockdown cells could be restored by ectopic expression of TEAD4. Meanwhile, KEGG enrichment analysis of genes related to TEAD4 expression showed that enrichment was significantly related to PI3K/AKT pathway. The pathway inhibitor LY294002 blocked the TEAD4-induced enhancement of migration and invasion as well as the expression EMT-related markers, whereas the agonist 740Y-P rescued the decreased migration, invasion and EMT induced by TEAD4 knockdown. Conclusions: TEAD4 is closely correlated with poor prognosis in BLCA and mediates its metastasis through regulating EMT via PI3K/AKT pathway, proving that TEAD4 is not only an effective biomarker for predicting the prognosis but also a great potential target for treatment of metastatic BLCA. This paper mainly studies the secure control problem of cyber-physical systems with positive constraint and denial-of-service (DoS) attack. The energy of DoS attack considered in this paper is assumed to be limited. According to the different lengths of DoS attack duration, a switched positive system model composed of several positive subsystems is constructed. By virtue of the persistent dwell time and multiple copositive Lyapunov functions methods, the stabilization criterion is derived. Wheat straw (WS) has been used as a hydrogen donor to provide sufficient hydrogen for hydrogenated microwave pyrolysis of low-rank pulverized coal (PC). In this work, the effects of pyrolysis time, microwave power, the particle size of PC, and the ratio of PC to WS on microwave co-pyrolysis of PC and WS were investigated to optimize the experimental conditions. The pyrolysis products generated under the optimal conditions for the maximum tar yield were contrastively discussed, and the relevant synergistic mechanism was proposed. Results showed the temperature-rising rate of other conditions was positively correlated with the tar yield but not for the condition of the ratio of PC to WS. The tar yield reached the maximum value of 17.20% during microwave co-pyrolysis under the conditions of 0.68–1.00 mm of particle size of PC, 700 W of microwave power, 50% of WS, and 20 min of pyrolysis time. The microwave pyrolysis of PC was significantly improved when adding WS, resulting in increased yields of tar and pyrolysis gas by 13.21% and 12.40%, respectively, compared with PC alone. The aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons in the coal tar sharply decreased, but the phenols, alcohols, and others increased compared with those in the microwave pyrolysis of PC. A mixed-integer programming (MIP) problem contains not only constraints but also integer restrictions. Integer restrictions divide the feasible region defined by constraints into multiple discontinuous feasible parts with different sizes. Several popular methods (e.g., rounding and truncation) have been proposed to deal with integer restrictions. Although it is easy for these methods to generate an integer, they tend to converge to an integer which is located in a feasible part with a big size. If the optimal solution is not in this feasible part, they are very likely to converge to a local optimal solution due to the loss of diversity of the population. To overcome this shortcoming, a biobjective optimization-based two-phase method is proposed in this article. In the first phase, a measure function is designed to compute the degree that a solution violates integer restrictions. By employing this measure function as the second objective function and removing integer restrictions, a MIP problem is transformed into a constrained biobjective optimization problem (CBOP). It can be proven that the Pareto optimal solution of the transformed CBOP which satisfies integer restrictions is the optimal solution of the original MIP problem. To solve the transformed CBOP, a new comparison rule is designed. After the first phase, the population can approach the Pareto optimal solution which satisfies integer restrictions. Then, the second phase is implemented to enhance the convergence precision and obtain the optimal solution. In addition, we design 12 test problems to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. This paper is concerned with the problem of stability and L 1-gain characterization for a class of switched positive systems consisting of both stable and unstable subsystems. Such systems can be modeled ingeniously as switched positive systems satisfying persistent dwell time switching. Compared to the widely used dwell time and average dwell time switching in the previous literature, persistent dwell time switching is more general due to its covering such two switchings as special cases. A new sufficient criterion ensuring the stability of switched positive systems is derived by using a persistent dwell time approach. And then an unweighted L 1-gain is computed by solving a linear programming problem. The presented method in this paper may decrease the conservatism. CeO2 nanorods (CeO2-nrs), CeO2 nanocubes (CeO2-ncs) and CeO2 nanopolyhedrons (CeO2-nps) were prepared by hydrothermal method and then NiO crystallites were deposited on these supports by precipitation-deposition, respectively. The physic-chemical properties of Ni/CeO2 catalysts were characterized and performances for carbon dioxide methanation reaction were tested. The Ni/CeO2-nrs sample shows well metal dispersion and high concentration of oxygen vacancy, which leads to the high catalytic activity for CO2 methanation. Especially at 300 °C, the CO2 conversion could reach 60%. Further analysis reveals that the content of oxygen vacancy has a positive correlation with the surface area of catalyst. The largest surface area results in the most of oxygen vacancy on the Ni/CeO2-nrs catalyst, and then a large amount of CO2 could be activated at low temperatures. Meanwhile, large surface area facilitates the dispersion of active metals, and improves the degree of H2 activation. The combined effect results in the promotion of catalytic activity for CO2 methanation at low temperatures. CeO2 nanorods (CeO2-nrs), CeO2 nanocubes (CeO2-ncs) and CeO2 nanopolyhedrons (CeO2-nps) supported Ni catalysts were prepared. These catalysts ware tested for CO2 methanation and further characterized by BET, XPS, TEM, H2-TPR and TPD. Multi-source data fusion can help to weaken the original data's shortcomings while improving data accuracy. The experimental area in this research is Taiyuan City in Shanxi Province, China. Using SRTM1 DEM, ASTER GDEM V3, and AW3D30 DEM, the optimal resolution of the Fused DEM in the research area is determined by analyzing the topographic factor information entropy. Then the optimally weighted fusion coefficient of the DEM with root mean square error (RMSE) as the criterion under different slope classes is determined by traversal exploration and quantitatively evaluates the fusion effect. The results show that the optimal resolution of the Fused DEM is 40 m under the terrain feature constraint of Taiyuan city. The fused DEM decreases by 33.8%, 57.9%, and 11.5% for mean absolute error (MAE), 36.3%, 54.6%, and 1.4% for standard deviation (STD), and 32.8%, 54.2%, and 9.7% for root mean square error (RMSE) compared with SRTM1, ASTER GDEM V3, and AW3D30. The weighted average fusion of multiple intensities increased the accuracy of the original data. The reduced topographic factor errors, such as slope, profile curvature, and TPI, improved the Fused DEM's topographic representation capacity.
