In recent years, with the development of cotton picking machinery, the mechanized picking degree of cotton has been improved. As the core component of the cotton-picking machine, the picking spindle is intertwined with the cotton in the working process. Fatigue, wear and fracture often occur during cotton picking process. At present, the domestic picking spindle is mainly imported from abroad, which is expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out in-depth research on the wear-resistant protection of the ingot picking. This paper mainly introduces the common methods and research status of the wear protection of cotton-picking machine, and briefly analyzes the main problems and development trends of the wear protection technology of cotton picker picking spindle. Darier's disease (DD) is an autosomal dominant genodermatosis characterized by hyperkeratotic papules, often accompanied by scaling and crusting. Managing DD presents significant challenges due to the absence of an effective cure, with only symptom targeting treatments currently available. This study presents a case of refractory DD that showed poor response to established pharmacological treatments but demonstrated improvement with low-dose superficial X-ray radiotherapy (SRT). The radiation was delivered as a single 200 cGy treatment, which visibly improved the condition. Considering the different degrees of side effects, sequelae, and risk of developing radiation-induced cancer after exposure to moderate levels of radiation, it may be considered that we attempt to treat recalcitrant DD initially by applying a low dose of radiation in order to mitigate these undesired side effects. If larger doses or additional courses are necessary due to inadequate response, the risks and benefits must be carefully evaluated and discussed with patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper is concerned with the stabilization for continuous‐time saturating Markov jump system with generally uncertain transition rates (GUTRs) under event‐triggered strategy. In the GUTRs model, the transition rate could be unknown or only its estimated value and estimated error bound are known. In practical systems, actuator saturation commonly exists, which may lead to instability. Event‐triggered strategy is introduced in Markov jump systems to save communication resources. A stochastic stabilization condition is derived for the underlying system considering event‐triggered control and the lower bound of the inter‐event time interval is calculated to avoid Zeno behavior. To obtain the biggest domain of attraction, an optimization algorithm is formulated. Finally, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the application of the given results. Additionally, it sought to identify the nudge strategies necessary for initiating and sustaining exercise behaviours among frail older adults.A qualitative study.The semi‐structured interviews were conducted between April and May 2024 from two communities in Changsha, China. The data were analysed using a deductive framework analysis aligned to nudge theory, and an inductive thematic analysis to gather relevant needs and preferences.This study involved 14 participants with pre‐frailty or frailty, aged 60–82 years (median age of 64 years). While participants were generally receptive to new technologies, lower levels of health literacy and competing priorities often hindered their participation. Three primary functionality requirements were as follows. (1) Profession engagement: tailored exercise prescription, professional and timely feedback and guidance; (2) personalised knowledge encompassing pain management, successful cases and inspiration; (3) beneficial, tailored, dynamic, fragmented, challenging exercise courses. Participants showed positive attitudes towards simplification nudges, gamification nudges, social nudges, trustworthy nudges, reminder nudges, economic nudges, feedback nudges and pre‐commitment nudges. Addressing privacy concerns was essential to build trust and acceptance among older adults.These findings emphasised the importance of designing mHealth interventions that address frail older adults' specific needs and preferences while incorporating effective nudge strategies to promote engagement and adherence.
