In recent years, there has been a significant rise in both the frequency and severity of Clostridium difficile colitis. This infection presents a broad clinical spectrum, ranging from asymptomatic colonization to severe fulminant colitis, which often requires urgent surgical intervention. The failure of medical treatments and the development of toxic megacolon typically necessitate surgery, though it is associated with high mortality rates. The aim of the study was to determine the endogenous factors regulating angiogenesis and develop new approaches to the treatment of uncontrolled growth of capillaries. The effect of a cell proliferation inhibiting thermostable protein complex (TPC), isolated from adult chicken liver, on an experimental model of Hemangioma (adolescent chicken comb) was studied. It has been proved that thermostable proteins isolated from the liver of adult chicken have the ability to inhibit the growth of adolescent bird comb. In particular, it has been shown that daily TPC injection (200 µg) into the comb of animals of the experimental group for 22 days causes visible changes in the color and size of the comb. To explain the changes in typical skin redness and the comb size, quantitative changes in capillaries in highly vascularized papillary layer of the dermis were assessed using histological assessment. Based on the results we can conclude that, the thermostable protein complex of adult chicken liver has the ability to inhibit capillary growth of adolescent chicken comb.

This paper describes how oral health care delivery is organized in the country of Georgia in 2013. It also describes the dental workforce, detailing the number of dentists in dental specialties. A section on dental education both at undergraduate as well as post-graduate levels follows. National statistics and governmental reports were used as data sources for this paper. They were provided by the Ministry of Health and Public Service Hall (Ministry of Justice of Georgia).

We have studied biochemical changes occurring in brain cell mitochondria of white rats on the background of stress induced by 30-day isolation and disruption of circadian rhythms. It was ascertained that due to long-lasting stress, there occurs activation of oxidative processes in mitochondria as well as inhibition of anti-oxidant system activity, causing development of energy deficiency in brain cells. The above-mentioned biochemical processes become the reason for activation and opening of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (MPTP), which, in its turn, signals the start of neuroapoptosis and various neurodegenerative processes.

The surgical treatment of body of womb cancer (after surgical hormonotherapy, radiation therapy) was conducted on 353 patients. Of which 264 patients had the first stage of disease; 50-the second stage of disease; 34-the third stage of disease; and 5-the fourth stage of disease. Most women with endometrial carcinoma were 50-59 years old. The youngest patient with body of womb cancer was 25 years old; the oldest patient was 78 years old. The amount of patients over 70 years old reached 5,4%. The research showed that the treatment depends on the stage of the tumour and its histological type, degree of the pathogenetic type of cancer endometrium. At the first stage of the treatment of the two patogenetic types it is enough to perform a radical operation in the field of extirpation of uterine appendages. At the cancer of the second and third stages of the patogenetic type it is necessary hormonotherapy after the operation. And at the second type it is necessary to use radical uterus extirpation in addition with radiation therapy.

In the department of gynecology of A. Gvamichava National Center of Oncology 43 patients with uterine sarcoma were treated during 2000-2004 years. The youngest woman who visited the Center with uterine sarcoma was diagnosed at 25 years of age and the oldest one was 77 years old. Patients distribution in age groups was as follows: up to 30 years - 1 (20,9%), 30-39 years - 9 (20,9%), 40-49 years - 16 (37,2%), 50-59 years - 15 (34,8%), 60 years and more - 4 (9,3%). Among 4 hystological types of sarcomas, the most prevalent were leiomyosarcoma uteri. Treatment of each patient was started by surgical intervention on uterus and its appendixes, extirpation and further conservative therapy.
