The regioselective N-addition/substitution reaction between α-alkylidene pyrazolinones and propargyl sulfonium salts has been developed to construct functionalized allylthio-containing pyrazolones with moderate to excellent yields. α-Alkylidene pyrazolinones act as N-nucleophilic agents which are distinguished from reported C-nucleophilic reactions. Excellent regioselectivity, readily available starting materials, the broad range of substrates, gram-scale synthesis, and simple operation illustrate the synthetic advantages of this new reaction pathway.

The first sequentially combined inorganic base promoted N-addition/[2,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement reaction of α-alkylidene pyrazolinones and propargyl sulfonium salts has been reported to construct homoallyl sulfur-containing pyrazolones with moderate to excellent yields. α-Alkylidene pyrazolinones function as N-nucleophilic agents distinguished from the reported C-addition reactions. Propargyl sulfonium salts were first involved in the [2,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement protocol differentiated from the well-established annulation reactions. The excellent regioselectivity, the broad scope of substrates, gram-scale synthesis and convenient transformation embody the synthetic superiority of this cascade process.

- Abstract
Bismuth(iii) oxidation of 3,5-di-substituted-1,2,4-triazolato anions afforded a paddlewheel 1,2,4-triazolato dibismuth complex [L2(Bi-Bi)L2] (L = η1,η1-3,5-R2tz, R = Ph (3), iPr (4)) with very short Bi(ii)-Bi(ii) bonds (2.8650(4)-2.8721(3) Å). The reaction involved the intermediates of the organobismuth radical [Bi(R2tz)2]˙ and neutral N-1,2,4-triazolyl radical [3,5-R2tz]˙. The dimerization of the former produced the corresponding dibismuth complex while the latter was trapped by using spin trap 5,5-dimethyl-1-pyrroline-N-oxide (DMPO) to give the radical adduct of {(3,5-R2tz)(DMPO)}˙ which was unambiguously evidenced by EPR analysis.

We present weakly interacting massive particles (WIMPs) search results performed using two approaches of effective field theory from the China Dark Matter Experiment (CDEX), based on the data from both CDEX-1B and CDEX-10 stages. In the nonrelativistic effective field theory approach, both time-integrated and annual modulation analyses were used to set new limits for the coupling of WIMP-nucleon effective operators at 90% confidence level (C.L.) and improve over the current bounds in the low $m_{\chi}$ region. In the chiral effective field theory approach, data from CDEX-10 were used to set an upper limit on WIMP-pion coupling at 90% C.L. We for the first time extended the limit to the $m_{\chi}, Comment: version accepted by Science China-PMA, 8 pages, 8 figures

Porous 1 dimensional (1D) ZnO nanofibers were synthesized by electrospinning technology and sequent annealing process. The ZnO nanofibers have many nanopores in it and connect to each other to form a porous film. The diameters of the nanofibers are about 100 nm, and their lengths are so long as tens of millimeters. Owing to the porous nanofibers based matrix has 1D channels and high isoelectric point, the prepared ZnO porous film is wonderful platform to immobilize glucose oxidase enzyme for glucose biosensing. The as-fabricated biosensor exhibited high sensitivity (69 μA/mMcm-2), fast response (3 s) and low detection limit (10 μM), due to the nanomaterial with large surface-to-volume ratio for enzyme immobilization and excellent electrical properties. The biosensors can be fabricated controllably and repeatedly. These excellent results indicate the biosensors are attractive for application.

There are about 2.9 fb − 1 of e + e − annihilation data, which is the largest ψ ( 3770 ) data sample in the world, had been taken at the center-of-mass energies of s = 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider in the last running year. Based on these near open-charm threshold data, we have experimentally studied the leptonic and semi-leptonic decays of charm mesons, as well as the FCNC decay of D 0 → γ γ and presented several preliminary results. These results are obtained from charm data with very high quality, leading to a few percent levelʼs validation of the Lattice QCD calculations, and a precise measurements of CKM elements, V c d and V c s , which can be used to improve the test of the CKM unitarity. The prospects on rare and forbidden charm decays at BESIII are also included.

We report results of a search for light weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) dark matter from the CDEX-1 experiment at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory (CJPL). Constraints on WIMP-nucleon spin-independent (SI) and spin-dependent (SD) couplings are derived with a physics threshold of 160 eVee, from an exposure of 737.1 kg-days. The SI and SD limits extend the lower reach of light WIMPs to 2 GeV and improve over our earlier bounds at WIMP mass less than 6 GeV., Comment: 10 pages, 10 figures

It is well recognized that looking for new physics at lower energy colliders is a tendency which is complementary to high energy machines such as LHC. Based on large database of BESIII, we may have a unique opportunity to do a good job. In this paper we calculate the branching ratios of semi-leptonic processes $D^+_s \to K^+ e^-e^+$, $D^+_s \to K^+ e^-\mu^+$ and leptonic processes $D^0 \to e^-e^+$, $D^0 \to e^-\mu^+$ in the frames of $U(1)'$ model, 2HDM and unparticle separately. It is found that both the $U(1)'$ and 2HDM may influence the semi-leptonic decay rates, but only the $U(1)'$ offers substantial contributions to the pure leptonic decays and the resultant branching ratio of $D^0 \to e^-\mu^+$ can be as large as $10^{-7}\sim10^{-8}$ which might be observed at the future super $\tau$-charm factory., Comment: 20 pages, 6 figures

The CDEX Collaboration has been established for direct detection of light dark matter particles, using ultra-low energy threshold p-type point-contact germanium detectors, in China JinPing underground Laboratory (CJPL). The first 1 kg point-contact germanium detector with a sub-keV energy threshold has been tested in a passive shielding system located in CJPL. The outputs from both the point-contact p+ electrode and the outside n+ electrode make it possible to scan the lower energy range of less than 1 keV and at the same time to detect the higher energy range up to 3 MeV. The outputs from both p+ and n+ electrode may also provide a more powerful method for signal discrimination for dark matter experiment. Some key parameters, including energy resolution, dead time, decay times of internal X-rays, and system stability, have been tested and measured. The results show that the 1 kg point-contact germanium detector, together with its shielding system and electronics, can run smoothly with good performances. This detector system will be deployed for dark matter search experiments., 6 pages, 8 figures

Weakly Interacting Massive Particles (WIMPs) are the candidates of dark matter in our universe. Up to now any direct interaction of WIMP with nuclei has not been observed yet. The exclusion limits of the spin-independent cross section of WIMP-nucleon which have been experimentally obtained is about 10^{-7}pb at high mass region and only 10^{-5}pb} at low mass region. China Jin-Ping underground laboratory CJPL is the deepest underground lab in the world and provides a very promising environment for direct observation of dark matter. The China Dark Matter Experiment (CDEX) experiment is going to directly detect the WIMP flux with high sensitivity in the low mass region. Both CJPL and CDEX have achieved a remarkable progress in recent two years. The CDEX employs a point-contact germanium semi-conductor detector PCGe whose detection threshold is less than 300 eV. We report the measurement results of Muon flux, monitoring of radioactivity and Radon concentration carried out in CJPL, as well describe the structure and performance of the 1 kg PCGe detector CDEX-1 and 10kg detector array CDEX-10 including the detectors, electronics, shielding and cooling systems. Finally we discuss the physics goals of the CDEX-1, CDEX-10 and the future CDEX-1T detectors., 36pages,39 figures

A new soluble cyclodextrin derivative 6-O-(2-hydroxybutyl)-beta-cyclodextrin (6-HB-beta-CD) was prepared. Its molecular binding and recognition ability were investigated with the comparison of beta-cyclodextrin (beta-CD), 2-O-(2-hydroxypropyl)-beta-cyclodextrin (2-HP-beta-CD), 6-O-(2-hydroxypropyl)-beta-cyclodextrin (6-HP-beta-CD), and 2-O-(2-hydroxybutyl)-beta-cyclodextrin (2-HB-beta-CD). The relationship between the complex stability constants and the possible structures of inclusion compounds was discussed with the interaction of hosts and guests, including the weak hydrophobic interactions, the size/shape matching, the steric hindrance, and the hydrophilic property.

The supersymmetry (SUSY) may be one of the most favorable extensions of the standard model (SM), however, so far at LHC no evidence of the SUSY particles were observed. An obvious question is whether they have already emerged, but escaped from our detection, or do not exist at all. We propose that the future ILC may provide sufficient energy to produce SUSY particles if they are not too heavy in the low background environment. The superflavor symmetry associates baryons with mesons as long as both of them containing a heavy constituent and a light one. In this work, we estimate the production rate of SUSY baryons near their production threshold in terms of the $B\bar B$ production data. Our analysis indicates that if the SUSY baryons with masses below $\sqrt s/2$ ($\sqrt s$ is the ILC energy) exist, they could be observed at future ILC.

In contrast with B0-B?0, Bs-B?s mixing where the standard model (SM) contributions overwhelm that of the new physics beyond standard model (BSM), a measured relatively large D0-D?0 mixing where the SM contribution is negligible, definitely implies the existence of the new physics BSM. It is natural to consider that the rare decays of D meson might be more sensitive to new physics, and the decay mode D0??+?? could be an ideal area to search for new physics because it is a flavor changing process. In this work we look for a trace of the new physics BSM in the leptonic decays of D0. Concretely we discuss the contributions of unparticle or an extra gauge boson Z' while imposing the constraints set by fitting the D0-D?0 mixing data. We find that the long-distance SM effects for D0 ?ll? still exceed those contributions of the BSM under consideration, but for a double-flavor changing process such as D0???e, the new physics contribution would be significant.

The recent measurements on $R_K$ and $R_{\pi}$ imply that there exists a possible violation of the leptonic flavor universality which is one of the cornerstones of the standard model. It is suggested that a mixing between sterile and active neutrinos might induce such a violation. In this work we consider the scenarios with one or two sterile neutrinos to explicitly realize the data while the constraints from the available experiments have been taken into account. Moreover, as indicated in literature, the deviation of the real PMNS matrix from the symmetric patterns may be due to a $\mu-\tau$ asymmetry, therefore the measurements on $R_{D(D_s)e\mu} = \Gamma(D(D_s)\rightarrow e^+\nu_e)/\Gamma(D(D_s)\rightarrow \mu^+\nu_\mu)$ and $R_{D(D_s)\mu\tau} = \Gamma(D(D_s)\rightarrow \mu^+\nu_\mu)/\Gamma(D(D_s)\rightarrow \mu^+\tau_\tau)$ (and for some other heavy mesons $B^{\pm}$ and $B_c$ etc.) may shed more light on physics responsible for the violation of the leptonic flavor universality. The data of BES III are available to test the universality and that of the future charm-tau factory will provide more accurate information towards the aspect, in this work, we will discuss $R_{D(D_s)e\mu}$ and $R_{D(D_s)\mu\tau}$ in all details and also briefly consider the cases for $B^{\pm}$ and $B_c$.
