Abstract: OBJECTIVES:. Anemia has been associated with an increased risk of both cardiac arrest and stroke, frequent complications of COVID-19. The effect of hemoglobin level at ICU admission on a composite outcome of cardiac arrest or stroke in an international cohort of COVID-19 patients was investigated. DESIGN:. Retrospective analysis of prospectively collected database. SETTING:. A registry of COVID-19 patients admitted to ICUs at over 370 international sites was reviewed for patients diagnosed with cardiac arrest or stroke up to 30 days after ICU admission. Anemia was defined as: normal (hemoglobin ≥ 12.0 g/dL for women, ≥ 13.5 g/dL for men), mild (hemoglobin 10.0–11.9 g/dL for women, 10.0–13.4 g/dL for men), moderate (hemoglobin ≥ 8.0 and < 10.0 g/dL for women and men), and severe (hemoglobin < 8.0 g/dL for women and men). PATIENTS:. Patients older than 18 years with acute COVID-19 infection in the ICU. INTERVENTIONS:. None. MEASUREMENTS AND MAIN RESULTS:. Of 6926 patients (median age = 59 yr, male = 65%), 760 patients (11.0%) experienced stroke (2.0%) and/or cardiac arrest (9.4%). Cardiac arrest or stroke was more common in patients with low hemoglobin, occurring in 12.8% of patients with normal hemoglobin, 13.3% of patients with mild anemia, and 16.7% of patients with moderate/severe anemia. Time to stroke or cardiac arrest by anemia status was analyzed using Cox proportional hazards regression with death as a competing risk. Covariates selected through clinical knowledge were age, sex, comorbidities (diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and cardiac or neurologic conditions), pandemic era, country income, mechanical ventilation, and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation. Moderate/severe anemia was associated with a higher risk of cardiac arrest or stroke (hazard ratio, 1.32; 95% CI, 1.05–1.67). CONCLUSIONS:. In an international registry of ICU patients with COVID-19, moderate/severe anemia was associated with increased hazard of cardiac arrest or stroke.

Abstract: Iran has been in disarray following the United States exit from the JCPOA in 2018. It is due to the increasing number of sanctions reimposed by the West, which harms the Iranian economy. With the current economic downturn, Iran, under President Ebrahim Raisi's leadership, has made efforts to become completely independent from the West by establishing the Look East Policy as its foreign policy. This research analyses why Ebrahim Raisi's administration favoured the Look East Policy as Iranian foreign policy. Data collection techniques used in this study are library research, using secondary data from books, journal articles, official websites, and news articles. Data analysis uses qualitative techniques based on the Foreign Policy Analysis Theory by Richard Snyder. The research findings indicate that the Look East Policy under the Raisi administration reduced Western influence in Iran's domestic economic development and diversified Iran's existing international relations with the Eastern hemisphere with a strengthening intention.

Abstract: Project control is a structured effort to establish standards in accordance with the plan, design information systems, compare implementation with established standards, analyze potential deviations, and take corrective actions necessary to ensure the effective and efficient use of resources in line with the set targets. Each project has its own specific plan and schedule, determining the start and end time of the project, implementation methods, and resource allocation. Operational challenges often arise in project planning, such as resource shortages, improper allocation, delays, and other issues that may hinder the achievement of project goals as planned. This research utilizes a descriptive quantitative approach, which is a research method that describes the specific conditions of the project through the analysis of available data. This article will discuss the cost variance (CV) and schedule variance (SV) in the development of Griya Jenggala at PT. Sarana Loka Almika, evaluate the cost performance index (CPI) and schedule performance index (SPI) in the development of Griya Jenggala to assess its effectiveness, estimate the cost at completion (EAC) and estimated duration at completion (EAS) required to complete the Griya Jenggala project, as well as provide an estimation of potential profits or losses that may arise in the Griya Jenggala development project.

Abstract: Having children with hearing impairment is a great concern for parents in teaching their children to communicate. However, parents tend to have trouble choosing the right approach in teaching children with hearing impairment to not feel lazy and bored quickly in learning. This research aims to create an interactive sign language learning application based on the BISINDO sign language system as an alternative learning media for children with hearing impairment to increase their learning motivation. The application was made to support children with hearing impairment in understanding sign language, starting from recognizing letters, numbers, basic and greeting words; the application was also made as an interactive software equipped with various supporting features such as videos, animations, to trivia quizzes. This research used descriptive methods with observation and interviews, as well as prototype methods in system development. This study indicates that the application can increase learning motivation for children with hearing impairment and provide supporting instruments for parents in teaching children to communicate. In conclusion, the application is beneficial and has a solution for parents to teach sign language to their children who have a hearing impairment and difficulty digesting learning and lack motivation

Abstract: Background The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on paediatric populations varied between high-income countries (HICs) versus low-income to middle-income countries (LMICs). We sought to investigate differences in paediatric clinical outcomes and identify factors contributing to disparity between countries.Methods The International Severe Acute Respiratory and Emerging Infections Consortium (ISARIC) COVID-19 database was queried to include children under 19 years of age admitted to hospital from January 2020 to April 2021 with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis. Univariate and multivariable analysis of contributing factors for mortality were assessed by country group (HICs vs LMICs) as defined by the World Bank criteria.Results A total of 12 860 children (3819 from 21 HICs and 9041 from 15 LMICs) participated in this study. Of these, 8961 were laboratory-confirmed and 3899 suspected COVID-19 cases. About 52% of LMICs children were black, and more than 40% were infants and adolescent. Overall in-hospital mortality rate (95% CI) was 3.3% [=(3.0% to 3.6%), higher in LMICs than HICs (4.0% (3.6% to 4.4%) and 1.7% (1.3% to 2.1%), respectively). There were significant differences between country income groups in intervention profile, with higher use of antibiotics, antivirals, corticosteroids, prone positioning, high flow nasal cannula, non-invasive and invasive mechanical ventilation in HICs. Out of the 439 mechanically ventilated children, mortality occurred in 106 (24.1%) subjects, which was higher in LMICs than HICs (89 (43.6%) vs 17 (7.2%) respectively). Pre-existing infectious comorbidities (tuberculosis and HIV) and some complications (bacterial pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome and myocarditis) were significantly higher in LMICs compared with HICs. On multivariable analysis, LMIC as country income group was associated with increased risk of mortality (adjusted HR 4.73 (3.16 to 7.10)).Conclusion Mortality and morbidities were higher in LMICs than HICs, and it may be attributable to differences in patient demographics, complications and access to supportive and treatment modalities.

Abstract: The National Food and Drug Agency has controlled the refill drinking water in drinking water depots and also controlled food at school canteens ranging from elementary, junior high, to high school, but the National Food and Drug Agency never do food quality controlling in canteens at universities. Objectives: To identified the contamination by coliform and E. coli bacteria in drinking water at Andalas University canteen. Methods: This research was descriptive to identify coliform bacteria on 15 drinking water at the Andalas University faculty canteens. Samples were taken directly using a sterile bottle, while data analysis using Most Probable Number (MPN) tables 5-1-1 and the presence of E. coli bacteria colonies from drinking water samples. Results: 9 of 15 water samples were contaminated by coliform bacteria with the highest MPN index of 240/100 ml that was found in 2 samples. From 9 samples containing coliform bacteria, all of them were found to contain E. coli bacteria. Conclusion: Most of the samples were contaminated by coliform and E. coli bacteria. Objektif. untuk mengetahui potensi aktivitas bakteriosin Lactobacillus gasseri terhadap pertumbuhan Salmonella typhi dengan menilai Kadar Hambat Minimal (KHM) dan Kadar Bunuh Minimal (KBM). Metode. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik dilusi dan menggunakan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Konsentrasi bakteriosin Lactobacillus gasseri dibagi dalam berbagai kelompok konsentrasi yaitu 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, 10% dan 0% (kontrol) dengan empat kali pengulangan. Nilai KHM dan KBM ditentukan dengan menghitung jumlah koloni bakteri yang tumbuh dari masing-masing konsentrasi. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara statistik dengan uji One-way ANOVA dan Post-Hoc LSD. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bakteriosin Lactobacillus gasseri dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Salmonella typhi namun tidak ditemukan nilai KHM dan KBM. Dengan perhitungan statistik ditemukan perbedaan yang bermakna pada konsentrasi 100%, 80%, 60%, 40% dan 20% terhadap kontrol. Simpulan. bakteriosin Lactobacillus gasseri memiliki efek bakteriostatik terhadap pertumbuhan Salmonella typhi tetapi tidak memiliki efek bakterisidal. Kemampuan daya hambat bakteriosin Lactobacillus gasseri terhadap pertumbuhan Salmonella typhi dipengaruhi oleh konsentrasi bakteriosinya. Kata kunci: Antibakteri, Bakteriosin, Lactobacillus gasseri, Salmonella typhi Background. Lactobacillus gasseri is a type of lactic acid bacteria (BAL) that can produce bacteriocin as an antibacterial compound. Objective. To determine the potential activity of Lactobacillus gasseri bacteriocin on the growth of Salmonella typhi by assessing the Minimum Inhibitory Level (MIC) and the Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC). Method. This research was conducted with the dilution technique and using a completely randomized design. The concentration of Lactobacillus gasseri bacteriocin was divided into various concentration groups namely 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, 10% and 0% (control) with four repetitions. The MIC and MBC values were determined by counting the number of bacterial colonies that grew from each concentration. The results of the study were statistically analyzed with the One-way ANOVA and Post-Hoc LSD tests. Results. The results showed that the bacteriocin Lactobacillus gasseri could inhibit the growth of Salmonella typhi but found no MIC and MBC values. Statistical calculations found significant differences in the concentration of 100%, 80%, 60%, 40% and 20% of the controls. Conclusion. bacteriocin Lactobacillus gasseri has a bacteriostatic effect on the growth of Salmonella typhi but has no bactericidal effect. The ability of Lactobacillus gasseri bacteriocin to inhibit the growth of Salmonella typhi is influenced by the concentration of bacteriocytes. Dalam proses pembelajaran yang berkualitas terdapat beberapa aspek yang turut mempengaruhi salah satunya penggunaan media pembelajaran yang inovatif. Pada mata pelajaran fisika guru cenderung kurang kreatif dan inovatif dalam menerapkan media pembelajaran saat mengajar,sehingga kurangnya motivasi belajar siswa yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sekarang membuat media pembelajaran semakin berkembang salah satunya berbentuk e-learning. E-learning merupakan sebuah inovasi yang mempunyai kontribusi sangat besar terhadap perubahan proses pembelajaran sehingga guru mendapat media pembelajaran yang inovasi untuk diterapkan didalam kelas dan siswa pun tidak akan jenuh dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengetahui apakah pengunaan media pembelajaran e-learning efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa maka kami melakukan penelitian dengan metode meta-analisis yaitu menggabungkan hasil 2 atau lebih penelitian sejenis yang menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran e-learning sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai efektifitas terendah 41,00% sampai tertinggi 94,47% dengan rata-rata 78,36%.

Abstract: IMPORTANCE:. Factors associated with mortality in coronavirus disease 2019 patients on invasive mechanical ventilation are still not fully elucidated. OBJECTIVES:. To identify patient-level parameters, readily available at the bedside, associated with the risk of in-hospital mortality within 28 days from commencement of invasive mechanical ventilation or coronavirus disease 2019. DESIGN, SETTING, AND PARTICIPANTS:. Prospective observational cohort study by the global Coronavirus Disease 2019 Critical Care Consortium. Patients with laboratory-confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 requiring invasive mechanical ventilation from February 2, 2020, to May 15, 2021. MAIN OUTCOMES AND MEASURES:. Patient characteristics and clinical data were assessed upon ICU admission, the commencement of invasive mechanical ventilation and for 28 days thereafter. We primarily aimed to identify time-independent and time-dependent risk factors for 28-day invasive mechanical ventilation mortality. RESULTS:. One-thousand five-hundred eighty-seven patients were included in the survival analysis; 588 patients died in hospital within 28 days of commencing invasive mechanical ventilation (37%). Cox-regression analysis identified associations between the hazard of 28-day invasive mechanical ventilation mortality with age (hazard ratio, 1.26 per 10-yr increase in age; 95% CI, 1.16–1.37; p < 0.001), positive end-expiratory pressure upon commencement of invasive mechanical ventilation (hazard ratio, 0.81 per 5 cm H2O increase; 95% CI, 0.67–0.97; p = 0.02). Time-dependent parameters associated with 28-day invasive mechanical ventilation mortality were serum creatinine (hazard ratio, 1.28 per doubling; 95% CI, 1.15–1.41; p < 0.001), lactate (hazard ratio, 1.22 per doubling; 95% CI, 1.11–1.34; p < 0.001), Paco2 (hazard ratio, 1.63 per doubling; 95% CI, 1.19–2.25; p < 0.001), pH (hazard ratio, 0.89 per 0.1 increase; 95% CI, 0.8–14; p = 0.041), Pao2/Fio2 (hazard ratio, 0.58 per doubling; 95% CI, 0.52–0.66; p < 0.001), and mean arterial pressure (hazard ratio, 0.92 per 10 mm Hg increase; 95% CI, 0.88–0.97; p = 0.003). CONCLUSIONS AND RELEVANCE:. This international study suggests that in patients with coronavirus disease 2019 on invasive mechanical ventilation, older age and clinically relevant variables monitored at baseline or sequentially during the course of invasive mechanical ventilation are associated with 28-day invasive mechanical ventilation mortality hazard. Further investigation is warranted to validate any causative roles these parameters might play in influencing clinical outcomes.

11. Comparison of N-acetyl-L-cysteine-sodium hydroxide and Modified Petroff’s Decontamination Methods for Mycobacterium tuberculosis Culture

Abstract: Indonesia is one of 22 countries with a high incidence of TB in the world, particularly related to TB-HIV and MDR-TB cases. Contamination of normal flora from nasopharyngeal tract is the main problem to isolate Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) from sputum. It is needed a safe solution to decontaminate without killing MTB bacilli. N-acetyl-L-cysteine-sodium hydroxide (NALC-NaOH) is compared with modified Petroff’s which is widely used in laboratories, to get better outcome. Of the 110 sputum samples were collected from suspected cases of Pulmonary TB. Decontamination using 2% NALC-NaOH and Modifed Petroff (4% NaOH) was performed before AFB smear and culture on LJ medium. Each group was assessed for contamination and culture positive rate. The positive culture was validated using chromatography test for detected antigen MPT-64 and PNB. Result of this study showed that NALC-NaOH and modified Petroff’s methods did not significantly affect positivity rate of Acid-Fast Bacillus (AFB) smear, 71% and 66% respectively. Contamination on culture was significantly (p=0,034) higher in samples treated with NALC-NaOH (21%) compared to Modified Petroff methods(13%). Proportion of positive culture on samples treated with NALC-NaOH was lower than Modified Petroff, 65% and 70% respectively with p value=1. Conclusion of this study showed that sputum decontamination using Modified Petroff methods is still more effective than NALC-NaOH to increase positivity rate of MTB culture. However, the two methods were not significantly different to get positivity result on the microscopic examination of AFB.

Abstract: The background of this research is the escalation of DKI Jakarta’s residence which lead to the other two impacting factors, the use of electricity that increase to 5.8% in 2019 and the municipal waste escalation. The objective of this research is to find potential electrical energy that can be produced from waste-to-energy (WTE) technology of IWMS (Integrated Waste Management Site) Bantargebang (Bekasi), where most of the waste come from the people of DKI Jakarta. Furthermore, with the application of WTE, there is also a potential from the smart city implementation in DKI Jakarta. By using the mathematical model and secondary data gathering from the government of DKI Jakarta, we found that the potential of electrical energy that can be produced can reach 8.6 GWh/day, which contributed up to 9% to from the energy distributed to DKI Jakarta. Moreover, by applying WTE, there is also a potential of implementing other indicators of smart city that has been propagated by the government of DKI Jakarta.

Abstract: Latar Belakang: Diabetes mellitus (DM) dan kontrol glikemik telah diajukan sebagai salah satu faktor risiko gangguan ginjal akut (GGA) pasca coronary arterial bypass grafting (CABG) walaupun dengan bukti yang terbatas, sehingga hubungan kedua penyakit perlu diteliti lebih lanjut Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan bukti lebih lanjut terkait pengaruh DM dan kontrol glikemik terhadap insidensi GGA pasca CABG. Metodologi: Suatu penelitian dengan desain cross sectional dilaksanakan di unit perawatan intensif bedah dewasa National Cardiovascular Center Harapan Kita, Jakarta, Indonesia. Populasi penelitian ini mencakup 84 subjek dengan metode sampling konsekutif. Kontrol glikemik pasien DM diklasifikasikan berdasarkan target nilai HbA1c pada panduan American Diabetes Association 2018. Analisis secara bivariat dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan antara berbagai faktor dan insidensi GGA. Berbagai faktor disesuaikan dengan analisis multivariat untuk menilai peran DM dan kontrol glikemik sebagai faktor independen. Hasil: Rerata usia dan tekanan darah sistolik berbeda secara signifikan antar kelompok dengan rerata usia tertinggi pada kelompok DM terkontrol dan tekanan darah tertinggi pada kelompok DM tidak terkontrol. Karakteristik demografis dan berbagai faktor selain DM tidak menunjukan hubungan yang signifikan dengan insidensi GGA. Analisis multivariat menunjukan bahwa pada kelompok DM dengan HbA1c terkontrol, insidensi GGA lebih rendah secara signifikan (OR 0.13, IK 95%, 0.13 - 0.24) dibandingkan dengan kelompok lainnya. Rasio odd GGA lebih tinggi pada kelompok DM tidak terkontrol, tetapi tidak terbukti signifikan secara statistik (OR 1.03, IK 95%, 0.158 - 6.69). Simpulan: Penelitian ini memberikan bukti pentingnya kontrol glikemik pra-operasi dalam mencegah terjadinya GGA pasca CABG pada pasien diabetes.

The design of program and activities for beef cattle cluster include (i) program of empowering farmer groups, (ii) programs for strengthening livestock technology, and (iii) programs for increasing accessibility getting financial support from the bank. Program of empowering farmer groups involved education and training, increasing cooperation (for feeding capital, disease control, marketing), increasing cooperation among farmer group members and other institutions, transfer technology. Abstract: Metal casting is a manufacturing process that is widely used in industry. This research aims to examine the tin solder casting process using sand casting molds to make spoon handles. Soldering tin was chosen because it is often used in the electronics industry to connect components. The method used in this test is Sand Casting using a silica sand mold. The silica sand molds used include disposable molds or Expandable Molds. The results of tin solder casting show that the silica sand sand casting mold produces baby spoon handle products. This research shows that casting tin solder using silica sand sand casting molds produces size error defects which result in dimensional changes between the sample object and the casting product. These dimensional changes indicate that the dimensions of the casting product are smaller than the sample object. Apart from that, there are also holes in the form of air cavities or porosity experienced by casting products., Pengecoran logam merupakan salah satu proses manufaktur yang banyak digunakan dalam industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengecoran timah solder menggunakan cetakan sand casting untuk membuat Gagang Sendok Bayi. Timah solder dipilih karena sering digunakan dalam industri elektronik untuk menyambung komponen. Metode yang digunakan pada pengujian ini adalah sand casting dengan menggunakan cetakan pasir silika. Cetakan pasir silika yang digunakan termasuk cetakan sekali pakai atau Expandable Mold. Hasil pengecoran timah solder menunjukkan bahwa cetakan sand casting pasir silika menghasilkan produk Gagang Sendok Bayi. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengecoran timah solder dengan cetakan sand casting pasir silika menghasilkan cacat kesalahan ukuran yang mengakibatkan perubahan dimensi antara benda sampel dengan hasil produk pengecoran. Perubahan dimensi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa dimensi hasil produk pengecoran lebih kecil daripada benda sampel. Disamping itu juga terdapat cacat lubang - lubang berupa rongga udara atau porositas yang dialami oleh benda hasil produk pengecoran.

Abstract: Ternate City, located in the North Maluku archipelago, Indonesia, has hilly geographical and morphological conditions that make it vulnerable to landslides. This research aims to identify potential landslide risks by utilizing the Digital Elevation Model and slope morphology analysis and provide recommendations for disaster mitigation. This study used Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data obtained from the Indonesian Geospatial Information Agency, as well as land use data extracted from Sentinel 2 satellite imagery. The Slope Morphology (SMORPH) method was applied to analyze the shape and slope, which was then used to generate a landslide potential map. The analysis results show that 1,391.72 hectares of area in Ternate City have a high risk of landslides, with factors such as slope, slope shape, and land use conditions contributing to soil stability. The study also identified the importance of risk mapping and socialization to the community on early signs of landslides to improve preparedness. This research confirms the need for comprehensive and sustainable mitigation efforts to reduce the impact of landslides in Ternate City. Recommendations include infrastructure strengthening, drainage channel construction, and reforestation in critical areas. The results of this study are expected to serve as a basis for policymakers to formulate more effective disaster mitigation strategies and increase public awareness of the importance of wise environmental management.

Abstract: Tourism development has become an effective way to improve the economy and welfare of local communities in many areas, especially areas with high tourism potential. This research aims to formulate a tourism management strategy using SWOT Analysis and provide recommendations based on sustainable coastal tourism in the Tanjung Bira and Lemo-lemo tourism areas. The data collection method in this research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by participatory observation and interviews. Secondary data was obtained by document review, which collected information related to policies, history, journals, and literature related to tourism. Data analysis was conducted using SWOT analysis, descriptive-qualitative, and comparative study to determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in formulating tourism strategies. Moreover, descriptive-qualitative analysis is used to formulate policies related to strategy based on sustainable coastal tourism. Abstract: Kampung Chocolate Educational Tour is a tourist attraction located in the village of Plosorejo by offering education in the form of how to cultivate chocolate as an attraction. The existence of Kampung Chocolate tourism makes economic activity grow as a result of tourism activities around the tourist attraction which then has an impact on economic development in Plosorejo village. This study aims to determine how the economic development of tourism in the village of Plosorejo before and after the existence of Kampung Chocolate tourism. In this study, the method used is a quantitative approach, so it uses a survey research type. Data analysis in this study included normality test and Wilcoxon test. In the results of the study, it can be seen that the existence of Kampung Brown has an impact on the work of the people of Plosorejo Village as evidenced by the value of sig less than 0.05 on the t test using the Wilcoxon method. This is because the existence of Kampung Brown has a significant effect on changes in the type of work for the people of Plosorejo Village. Then, the existence of Kampung Brown also has no impact on income, expenses, business and house ownership status in the Plosorejo Village community as evidenced by the sig value more than 0.05 on the t test using the Wilcoxon method. This is because the existence of Kampung Chocolate has no significant effect on increasing income, increasing expenditure, changing home ownership status, and changing community business ownership status in Plosorejo Village. Wisata Edukasi Kampung Coklat merupakan objek wisata yang berada di desa Plosorejo dengan menawarkan edukasi berupa cara budidaya coklat sebagai daya tariknya. Keberadaan wisata Kampung Coklat membuat tumbuhnya kegiatan ekonomi akibat dari kegiatan pariwisata di sekitar objek wisata yang kemudian berdampak terhadap pembangunan ekonomi di desa Plosorejo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembangunan ekonomi wisata di desa Plosorejo pada saat sebelum dan setelah adanya wisata Kampung Coklat. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, sehingga menggunakan jenis penelitian survey. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi uji normalitas dan uji Wilcoxon. Pada hasil penelitian, dapat diketahui jika adanya Kampung Coklat memiliki dampak pada pekerjaan masyarakat Desa Plosorejo yang dibuktikan dengan nilai sig kurang dari 0,05 pada uji t dengan menggunakan metode wilcoxon. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya Kampung Coklat berpengaruh secara cukup signifikan terhadap perubahan jenis pekerjaan masyarakat Desa Plosorejo. Kemudian, adanya Kampung Coklat juga tidak berdampak pada pendapatan, pengeluaran, status kepemilikan usaha dan rumah pada masyarakat Desa Plosorejo yang dibuktikan dengan nilai sig lebih dari 0,05 pada uji t dengan menggunakan metode wilcoxon. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya Kampung Coklat tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendapatan, peningkatan pengeluaran, perubahan status kepemilikan rumah, dan perubahan status kepemilikan usaha masyarakat di Desa Plosorejo.

Abstract: Background: Fluid obtained by whole gut lavage usually contains traces of immunoglobulin (lg) G, albumin, and a-1-antitrypsin; higher concentrations have been found in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Immunoglobulin (lg) levels increase in the lower respiratory tract of patients with pulmonary sarcoidosis. The aim of this study is to assess the Evaluation of immunoglobulin levels in lavage fluid in active and inactive disease. Material Methods: This is an observational study. The study used to be carried out in the admitted patient’s Department of microbiology and immunology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Bangladesh. In Bangladesh for the duration of the period from October 2015 to March 2017. Results: This study shows that the according to age of 33 Patients aged 1 to 9 years. Here according to Age distribution, 2(6.1%) were 1-3 years, 10(30.30%) were >3 6 years, 9(27.27%) were >6-9 years and 12(36.4%) were >9 years. And according to gender 13(39.4%) were Male and 20(60.6%) were Female. Conclusion: The study concluded that high and abnormal levels of immunoglobulin (IgG, IgM, and IgA) is present among JIA patient in active disease state which became normal in inactive state.

Aim : This paper aimed to study the effect of melinjo seed extract on uric acid levels. Methods : Thirty-six male wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups, consists of healthy control group, hyperuricemic control, Allopurinol control, and treatment groups (3 groups). Hyperuricemia was induced by the administration of block broth and potassium oxonate for 4 weeks. Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan makna denotatif dan konotatif dari tanda-tanda yang terdapat pada sampul buku Five Little Pigs karya Agatha Christie. Untuk itu, pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan dari interpretasi teks dan gambar pada sampul buku, didukung oleh jurnal untuk dianalisis. Selanjutnya, teori Barthes tentang hubungan antara penanda dan petanda yang disebut “staggered systems” diterapkan dalam kasus ini. Menurut Barthes, dua tingkatan itu adalah denotasi dan konotasi. Konotasi didefinisikan sebagai makna yang dikaitkan dengan gambar di luar tingkat denotasi yang jelas, sedangkan denotasi didefinisikan sebagai tingkat makna pertama dan paling sederhana dari sebuah gambar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan makna konotatif tanda melalui teks dan gambar yang terdapat pada sampul buku Five Little Pigs karya Agatha Christie versi penerbit William Morrow Paperbacks tahun 2011. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa (1) Beberapa teks dan gambar sebagai tanda mengandung makna konotatif dan denotatif dalam merujuk pada objek tertentu, (2) makna konotatif dari tanda yang dimetaforakan melalui makna denotatif, dan (3) tanda visual lebih banyak atau dominan dibandingkan tanda verbal. Abstract: The objective of this study is to ascertain the effects of GCG, measured by board of director size, board meeting frequency, independent commissioner proportion, audit committee size, and managerial ownership, on firm value utilizing firm size and leverage as control variables. All companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index during 2017 to 2021 are the population of this study. Total sample of 18 companies were used using the purposive sampling for analysis. Data from the study were examined using panel data regression analysis. Based on the testing, firm value was positively impacted by the board meetings frequency, number of director board, and percentage of independent commissioners. The audit committee and managerial ownership, in contrast, have no impact on firm value. Firm size, a control variable, has a detrimental impact on firm value. Leverage, however, has no influence on firm value. As the implication, the firms should enhance the standard of good corporate governance and abide by applicable laws in order to boost investor and public confidence and firm value.

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan antara beban kerja dan fasilitas kerja terhadap efektivitas kerja karyawan bagian produksi pada PT Wieda Sejahtera. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian asosiatif kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta jumlah populasi sebanyak 30 karyawan dengan perhitungan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 responden. Pengujian instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Sedangkan metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda, uji koefisien determinasi R2, uji T, dan uji F. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan software SPSS 22 for windows. Model persamaan regresi Y= 50,997 - 0,464 (X1) + 0,542 (X2) + e sudah layak untuk digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil korelasi secara parsial variabel beban kerja (X1) memberikan pengaruh terhadap efektivitas kerja (Y) sebesar 10,96 persen, sedangkan variabel failitas kerja (X2) memberikan pengaruh terhadap efektivitas kerja (Y) sebesar 12,89 persen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis koefisien determinasi (R2) sebesar 29,3 persen efektivitas kerja dipengaruhi oleh beban kerja dan fasilitas kerja sedangkan sisanya 70,7 persen dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini seperti motivasi, stres kerja, gaya kepemimpinan dan lain sebagainya
