Ample of knowledge leads to positive attitude. Knowledge is an important tool that promotes attitude changes. Knowledge and Attitude of students towards safety is important because action of a person depends on believe. Unsafe actions of students are caused most of injuries and harms. It is important to minimize such harms by knowledge. Present study was conducted to find out the relationship between safety knowledge and attitude of students towards their safety. Study was quantitative in nature and researchers applied correlational research design. Sample of the study consisted of eighty-nine grade three students enrolled in government schools. Data were collected by self-constructed knowledge test for safety having 50 items and attitude scale for safety having 40 items mode of 5-point Likert type options. Content validity of self-constructed instruments was ensured from experts and Cronbach's Alpha reliability was censured in SPSS. Researchers personally collected data from respondents after ensuring ethical consideration prior to collect data. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Pearson coefficient of correlation. The major findings of the study indicate that body safety, road safety, food safety, Internet safety, sports safety and fire safety knowledge strengthen the attitude towards safety. The results indicated that there was statistically significant relationship between knowledge and attitude about safety. On the basis of results, it is recommended that existing safety knowledge and attitude should be strengthening in school students in addition to their conventional education. Further researches may include research with male and female students at elementary and secondary level.

Life skills education helps to bridge the gap between basic capabilities and functioning. It improves the ability of an individual to fulfill the demands and needs of the society and significantly strengthens the aptitude to handling with the problems and issues in a good manner to get desired practical behavior. The purpose of this study was to evaluation of the curriculum of English language grades I-V in the context of life skills education at primary schools in Pakistan from the perspective of the teachers involved. Five hundred (N=500) male and female teachers were selected from 100 primary schools on equal basis. The analysis revealed that life skills education was significant for students. Sub-themes were sufficient for students at primary level. On the basis of study the study the researcher recommended that life skills education should be included in the content of other subjects to meet the global needs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The effect of student's attitude on mathematical achievement has gathered tremendous attention from various researchers. However, there is a degree of inconsistency in the findings regarding these effects. The aim of the study was to find out the effect of students' attitude towards Mathematics on their mathematical achievement at secondary schools in AJ&K. The objectives of the study were; to analyze students' attitude in Mathematics at secondary level, to compare students' attitude and academic achievement in Mathematics (gender wise) in AJ&K and to find out the effect of students' attitude on achievement in Mathematics at secondary level in AJ&K. The research was descriptive and quantitative in nature. All students of 10th class of Govt. Secondary Schools in District Bagh AJ&K were the population of the study. There were 1076 students (458 boys and 618 girls) studying in 10th class in Government Secondary Schools of District Bagh. Sample was taken using Stratified random sampling technique. The researcher selected 444 students (192 male and 252 female) using proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Researcher constructed five-point Likert scale questionnaire to collect the data. It was concluded that attitude had an impact on the mathematical achievements of the students. Parents' education, qualification and social status had positive effect on academic achievements of students. The purpose of this study was to analyze a situation of ECE facilities available in public and private sector schools in AJ&K. The main objective of the study was to assess the availability of physical, academic, sports and learning environment facilities for ECE in public and private sector schools in AJ&K. The study was descriptive in nature and a quantitative approach was applied for conducting the research. A questionnaire was used for the collection of data from respondents. The sample consisted of 100 teachers, which were 50 from the public sector and 50 from the private sector by using a disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. A questionnaire consisted of 46 items with four subscales was used in this study. Mean, standard deviation and t-test was used to analyze the data. Expert opinion was taken to check the validity of questionnaire. Cronbach's Alpha of the questionnaire was .705. The result of the study revealed that the availability of all four facilities is better in public sector schools than private sector schools. It is recommended that resources of teaching and learning for early childhood education need to be increased. It is also suggested that the curriculum for ECE should also be revised and implemented in private sector schools of AJ&K. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
