Objective. To explore the clinical value of specific miRNA in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia. Methods. 129 patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia diagnosed in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2020 were selected as the observation group. At the same time, 74 patients with nonacute promyelocytic leukemia who underwent bone marrow aspiration were included as the control group. The expression levels of miR-126-5p and miR-13, different characteristic parameters, and prognosis were compared between the two groups, and the clinical significance of miR-126-5p and miR-13 in acute promyelocytic leukemia was analyzed. Results. The expression of miR-126-5p ( 12.31 ± 2.25 versus 17.30 ± 3.28 ) and miR-13 ( 16.05 ± 3.47 versus 21.66 ± 2.18) in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group ( P < 0.05 ). The expression level of miR-126-5p was significantly correlated with lactate dehydrogenase level, HGB level, NPM1 mutant type, and complete remission ( P < 0.05 ). The expression level of miR-13 was significantly correlated with HGB level, NPM1 mutant type, and complete remission ( P < 0.05 ). Both expression levels of miR-126-5p and miR-13 were not correlated with sex, age, WBC, PLT, proportion of bone marrow primordial cells, hepatomegaly, splenomegaly, lymph node enlargement, and FLT3-ITD ( P > 0.05 ). Cox multivariate regression analysis showed that peripheral blood WBC, bone marrow blast cell count, and miR-126-5p and miR-13 were prognostic factors in patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia ( P < 0.05 ). The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and AUC of serum miR-126-5p prediction were 75.83%, 84.56%, 82.17%, and 0.729, respectively. The sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and AUC of serum miR-13 prediction were 78.64%, 88.49%, 86.20% and 0.882, respectively. Conclusion. Serum miR-126-5p and miR-13 are closely related to the prognosis of patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia. Serum miR-126-5p and miR-13 can be used as reliable indexes to predict the prognosis of patients.

We analyzed the treatment effects of chidamide and decitabine in combination with a HAG (homoharringtonine, cytarabine, G-CSF) priming regimen (CDHAG) in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients with TP53 mutation. Seven TP53 mutated AML patients were treated with CDHAG. The treatment effects were assessed using hemogram detection and bone marrow aspirate. The possible side effects were evaluated based on both hematological and non-hematological toxicity. Four of the seven patients were classified as having achieved complete remission after CDHAG treatment; one patient was considered to have achieved partial remission, and the remaining two patients were considered in non-remission. The overall response rate (ORR) to CDHAG was 71.4%. Regarding the side effects, the hematological toxicity level of the seven patients ranged from level III to level IV, and infections that occurred at lung, blood, and skin were recorded. Nausea, vomiting, liver injury, and kidney injury were also detected. However, all side effects were attenuated by proper management. The CDHAG regimen clearly improved the ORR (71.4%) of TP53-mutated AML patients, with no severe side effects.

Wire bonding remains one of the most widely adopted interconnection techniques in the field of electronic packaging. At present, the most effective way to ensure a long life and high reliability of wire bonds is to improve the bonding quality. In this study, both experiments and finite element analysis (FEA) were employed to develop a fundamental understanding of wire bond degradation. Sensors with two protective silicone gels were loaded with the same thermal shock at a temperature ranging from $- 40^{\circ }\text{C}$ to 125°C, and the switching time was shorter than 10 s. The number of thermal shock cycles for the aluminum wire covered with transparent silicone reached 1200, but the maximum number of cycles for the other wire only reached 454. The experimental results indicated that the chosen transparent silicone performed better than did the black silicone originally selected, which was also verified by the simulation results. In addition, bond pull and shear tests were performed. The results revealed no degradation of either the Ag-Al or Ni-Al bonding joints under thermal loading. In summary, the root cause of failure was found to be improper protection silicone application, which, as often ignored in analysis, accelerated thermal fatigue of the aluminum wires. An explanation of the observed trend and a recommended aluminum wire bonding method were also provided.

Label-free biosensors operating within the terahertz (THz) spectra have helped to unlock a myriad of potential THz applications, ranging from biomaterial detection to point-of-care diagnostics. However, the THz wave diffraction limit and the lack of emitter-integrated THz biosensors hinder the proliferation of high-resolution near-field label-free THz biosensing. Here, a monolithic THz emission biosensor (TEB) is achieved for the first time by integrating asymmetric double-split ring resonator metamaterials with a ferromagnetic heterojunction spintronic THz emitter. This device exhibits an electromagnetically induced transparency window with a resonance frequency of 1.02 THz and a spintronic THz radiation source with a bandwidth of 900 GHz, which are integrated on a fused silica substrate monolithically for the first time. It was observed that the resonance frequency experienced a red-shift behavior with increasing concentration of HeLa cells and Pseudomonas because of the strong interaction between the spintronic THz radiation and the biological samples on the metamaterials. The spatial frequency red-shift resolution is ∼0.01 THz with a Pseudomonas concentration increase from ∼0.5 × 104 to ∼1 × 104/mL. The monolithic THz biosensor is also sensitive to the sample concentration distribution with a 15.68 sensitivity under a spatial resolution of 500 μm, which is determined by the infrared pump light diffraction limit. This TEB shows great potential for high-resolution near-field biosensing applications of trace biological samples.

A temperature control curtain can effectively mitigate the negative effect of outflow temperature on the river eco-environment downstream. To investigate the response of outflow temperature to influence factors (i.e., installation position of temperature control curtain, submerged depth, temperature distribution, and outflow discharge), experiments were conducted in a nonlinearly stratified fluid. The important degree of influence factors was determined by entropy weight method. The results indicated that the effect extent of influence factors on the outflow temperature was temperature distribution, submerged depth, outflow discharge, and installation position in turn. The installation position had little effect on the outflow temperature. Increasing the outflow discharge could withdraw more warm water near the surface and increase the outflow temperature. The outflow temperature also rose with decreasing submerged depth, and more warm water above the temperature control curtain level tended to be extracted when the submerged depth was enough. Although the outflow temperature increased, its variation amplitude depended on the temperature gradient of temperature distribution and was not affected by the structural form of selective withdrawal. From the point of operation management, the minimum submerged depth was determined using sensitivity analysis to obtain maximum improvement of outflow temperature.

Tire pressure monitoring is essential to driving safety. Indirect tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is a cost-effective alternative to direct tire pressure monitoring system. Its performance depends on the algorithm for data pre-processing and analysis which is normally complicated, sensitive to initial calibration with limited working range. In this work, four tests were carried out with Baojun 530 with a different deflated tire in each case. Speed data read through ABS CAN bus was analyzed and traditional frequency based method was employed to identify the deflated tire. To simplify the data pre-processing and improve response speed and working range, a new artificial neural network (ANN) based method was also proposed to identify deflated tire based on speed data point collected through antilock brake system (ABS) sensors in tests. A long short-term memory (LSTM) network was developed to locate the deflated tire with an accuracy of 0.83 after training for individual data points. And performance of this method can be further improved by employing a soft voting mechanism with 3 LSTM networks. In proposed ANN based method, benchmark data from properly inflated tire is not required, which makes it a promising solution for multiple deflated tires cases which is challenging for traditional frequency-based method.

The reliability of lead-free solder joints on flexible printed circuit board (PCB) has created significant new challenges in the industry, especially in automotive electronics, and possibly for future wearable electronics. In the automotive industry, thermal cycling test and random vibration test need to be conducted to certify every electronic product to be used in harsh automotive environments. In order to accelerate the testing time, we may need to subject the electronic components, in particular, sensors to both loadings such as thermal cycling and vibration. During all the experiments, the electrical signals of each specimen were continuously monitored by using an event detector. One advantage of this method is that any individual soldering interconnect failure will result in the diagnostic signal of the circuit, which could be detected in real-time. A simulation was used to confirm the possibility of the stress concentration location caused by the vibration and thermal cycling loads. The influence of vibration frequency and acceleration on the vibration fatigue life of solid joints was investigated. In this paper, the submodeling technique was used to construct the finite element model of the rigid-flexible printed circuit board (rigid-flexible PCB) coupled with a MEMS pressure sensor subjected to temperature cycle and random vibration loadings. The research results are helpful to effectively characterize the performance of the MEMS sensors under both thermal cycling test and vibration test. Two kinds of land shapes and two kinds of PCB assemblies were selected. In order to investigate the crack growth in the solder joint, the solder joint is sliced and the crack on the cross section of the solder joint was observed. Results of finite element modeling analysis were consistent with the experimental results. Two design parameters have been identified in our research as being important to soldering usage in automotive environments: pad type (teardrop versus nonteardrop) and pad size (big versus small, matching size for Cu-wire and pad). Experimental results also showed that the solder joint with a big land shape presented a relatively good thermal fatigue resistance.

Selective withdrawal is commonly implemented in nonlinearly stratified ambient, which typically has stratified ambient conditions, for purposes of controlling quality. A floating intake is applied as an effective facility of selective withdrawal. However, the outflow dynamics of a floating intake in a nonlinearly stratified ambient have been disregarded, which has a significant effect on the outflow water quality of a reservoir. Experiments were conducted to investigate the effect of thermal stratification on the flow characteristics using particle image velocimetry at three temperature distributions (no stratification, weak stratification and strong stratification). The flow fields upstream of the floating intake showed that the withdrawal layer was formed inhibited by the thermal stratification. And strong stratification produced the thinner withdrawal layer thickness, leading to a larger nonuniform coefficient of the velocity profile. To quantitatively describe the velocity profiles, formulas of dimensionless velocity profiles were proposed. The flow developments were analysed, and the virtual control points located 0.56d above the floating intake (where d is the straight pipe diameter of the floating intake) were obtained. The positions of virtual control points mainly depended on the withdrawal discharge. The decay rate of the velocity along the horizontal line passing through the virtual control point was inversely proportional to the stratification intensity.

In this paper, a massive MIMO channel estimation algorithm based on deep learning is proposed. Aiming at the spatial correlation model of massive MIMO system, it uses a combination of feedforward neural network and bidirectional long short-term memory network to estimation under different pilot conditions. Simulation experiments prove that its algorithm is better than traditional algorithms.

Recently emerging spintronic terahertz (THz) emitters, featuring many appreciable merits such as low-cost, high efficiency, ultrabroadband, and ease of integration, offer multifaceted capabilities not only in understanding the fundamental ultrafast magnetism physics but also for exploring multifarious practical applications. Integration of various flexible and tunable functions at the source such as polarization manipulation, amplitude tailoring, phase modulation, and radiation beam steering with the spintronic THz emitters and their derivatives can yield more compact and elegant devices. Here, we demonstrate a monolithic metamaterial integrated onto a W/CoFeB/Pt THz nanoemitter for a purpose-designed functionality of the electromagnetically induced transparency analog. Through elaborate engineering the asymmetry degree and geometric parameters of the metamaterial structure, we successfully verified the feasibility of monolithic modulations for the radiated THz waves. The integrated device was eventually compared with a set of stand-alone metamaterial positioning scenarios, and the negligible frequency difference between two of the positioning schemes further manifests almost an ideal realization of the proposed monolithic integrated metamaterial device with a spintronic THz emitter. We believe that such adaptable and scalable devices may make valuable contributions to the designable spintronic THz devices with pre-shaping THz waves and enable chip-scale spintronic THz optics, sensing, and imaging.

The detection and analysis of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) plays a crucial role in clinical practice. However, the heterogeneity and rarity of CTCs make their capture and separation from peripheral blood very difficult while maintaining their structural integrity and viability. We previously demonstrated the effectiveness of the Magnetic Cell Centrifuge Platform (MCCP), which combined the magnetic-labeling cell separation mechanism with the size-based method. In this paper, a comparison of the effectiveness of different microsieve pore geometries toward MCCP is demonstrated to improve the yield of the target cell capture. Firstly, models of a trapped cell with rectangular and circular pore geometries are presented to compare the contact force using finite element numerical simulations. The device performance is then evaluated with both constant pressure and constant flow rate experimental conditions. In addition, the efficient isolation of magnetically labeled Hela cells with red fluorescent proteins (target cells) from Hela cells with green fluorescent protein (background cells) is validated. The experimental results show that the circular sieves yield 97% purity of the target cells from the sample with a throughput of up to 2 &mu, L/s and 66-fold sample enrichment. This finding will pave the way for the design of a higher efficient MCCP systems.

Rationale Some acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients are unresponsive to treatment or have remission followed by worsening of disease (known as relapsed/refractory AML [R/RAML]) after standardized treatment. The CAG/HAG regimen is not often used clinically because heterogenous patient responses, resistance, and hematopoietic bone marrow dysfunction have been reported with its use. We present 2 cases of R/RAML treated with a new combined therapy (venetoclax+ hypomethylating agents [HMAs]) in which the HAG dose was adjusted and effective in the first course of treatment. Patient characteristics Case 1 involved a 23-year-old man who had suffered from AML for >4 years, and his FLT3 mutation status was positive at the initial diagnosis. After the first course of treatment with the standard-dose "Da" plan, the patient experienced complete remission. During the subsequent courses of treatment, the patient experienced 6 recurrences and was treated with the "ID Ara-C + MIT + sidaaniline" and "CAG + sidaaniline" regimens. However, the disease did not respond. Case 2 involved a 26-year-old man who received chemotherapy with the "Da," "ID Ara-C," "decitabine + half-dose CAG," and "HAE" regimens. In this patients, remission could not be achieved. Reintroduction of the "ia" scheme also failed after treatment in our hospital. Diagnosis Two patients were diagnosed with R/RAML. Interventions The patient in case 2 received chemotherapy interventions, whereas the patient in case 1 refused to receive medical services at our hospital. Outcomes The patient in case 1 was discharged after complete response treatment due to economic reasons and relapsed 2 months later. The patient ultimately died of infection and heart failure. The patient in case 2 is receiving a second cycle of chemotherapy. Lessons We recommend the "venetoclax + HMAs combined with dose-adjusted CAH/HAG" regimen as an effective treatment for adult R/RAML.

Floating intake is an effective facility of selective withdrawal to regulate the outflow temperature from thermally stratified reservoirs. The outflow temperature was the result of the interaction among temperature field, flow field and artificial regulation. To characterize them, three influencing factors (i.e., temperature distribution, outflow rate and submerged depth) were chosen. Experiments were conducted to investigate the response of outflow temperature to influencing factors in a nonlinearly stratified fluid with the particle image velocimetry (PIV) technique. Results showed that the withdrawal layer was formed near the level of floating intake inhibited by the density gradient, and its thickness was proportional to stratification intensity. The withdrawal layer ascended with the decrease in submerged depth, and the thickness also changed due to the variation in density gradient. Although the outflow temperature increased, the variation amplitude depended on the temperature gradient between the two submerged depths. However, enlarging the outflow rate within a certain range had relatively small influence on the withdrawal layer thickness and the outflow temperature. Considering the experimental results, a formula was developed for predicting the outflow temperature based on dimensional analysis and energy conservation.

In this experiment, 'Jinyan' kiwifruit field leaves were used as explants for tissue culture to study the effects of different plant growth regulators on the regeneration of leaves of 'Jinyan' kiwifruit, including the induction of adventitious shoots, the proliferation of adventitious shoots and the rooting of adventitious buds. Establish a rapid propagation system for 'Jinyan' kiwifruit. The results showed that the optimal medium for the regeneration of adventitious shoots of 'Jinyan' kiwifruit leaves was MS + 6-BA 4.0 mgL−1+NAA 0.1 mgL−1, the budding rate was 76.67%; and the best medium for adventitious shoots proliferation was MS+6-BA 2.0 mgL−1+NAA 0.4 mgL−1+GA3 0.1 mgL−1, the average proliferation coefficient was 3.33; the optimal rooting medium was 1/2MS +IBA 0.6 mgL−1, the rooting rate was 86.67%, and the average root length was 2.30 cm.

Microcalorimeter based on suspended SiO 2 membrane structures has been designed and fabricated. The geometry of suspension arms is optimized by ANSYS simulation to ensure that it provides maximum thermal isolation between the membrane structure and the supporting substrate. The microcalorimeter is intended to be a sample carrier onto which other thin films can be deposited for thermal property measurement. An ac modulation method has been used to measure the specific heat of aluminum thin film with thickness from 13.5 to 370 nm. The measurements demonstrated clearly the dependence of specific heat on thin film thickness.

The thermal properties of thin films are known to be different from their bulk forms. Many attempts have been made to measure these properties. Most of these efforts have been focused on measurement of thermal conductivity of thin films, which is relatively easy because only the measurement at steady-state heating is required. In this paper, the transient state of thin film thermal property, i.e. the specific heat, has been investigated. A suspended silicon nitride membrane structure has been designed and fabricated by silicon micromachining. Thermal conductance and time constant for different thickness of silicon nitride thin film have been measured. Specific heat for the silicon nitride thin film has been derived from the experiment and compared with previous results.

A new microdevice for measuring the thermal conductivity of thin film is presented. It is based on the static-state method, which is widely used and a simple technique for measuring the lateral thermal conductivity of thin film. The device is fabricated using micromachining process, which is 800/spl times/2000/spl mu/m bridge membrane with 30/spl times/100/spl mu/m beams. The heater and thermometer across the bridge membrane through the beams are used to create heat flux and to measure the temperature. On the membrane, heat flux is very uniform and the temperature is evenly distributed, which has been verified by simulation, making the system error smaller than conventional rectangular structure. Silicon nitride thin films with thickness from 0.5/spl mu/m to 2/spl mu/m have been investigated using the technique. The measurement result supports the size effect of the thermal conductivity for thin film.
