Introduction: Adolescent Reproductive Health problems are still a priority in Indonesia. One of the causes of this problem is that access to information is still conventional. Therefore knowledge about reproductive health must be improved through applications that are following the characteristics and needs of adolescents. "Aplikasi Remaja Sehat" is a source of information and educational media in addition to information about the health information to adolescents without spending money and can be accessed by downloading applications in the Appstore about adolescent reproductive health. Methods: This study was conducted on Surabaya high school students to analyzing the variable diffusion of innovation (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity) resulting from the use of "Aplikasi Remaja Sehat". The method used in this study was pre-experimental by designing a post-only design The data collection method in this study used a pre-experimental design with a post-only design where giving intervention to the respondent was then given a posttest measurement. Samples taken by simple random sampling were as many as 302 samples. Results: The results showed that there were significant differences with the degree of conformity with the application (p-value = 0.026) while compatibility (p-value = 0.304) and complexity (p-value = 0.312) had no significant effect on the decision. Conclusion: The conclusions in this study are related to the variable diffusion of innovation that results in decisions in using healthy adolescent applications. Therefore "Aplikasi Remaja Sehat" can be used as a health promotion medium for adolescents that is suitable for teenagers' needs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Introduction: The prevalence of patients with mental disorders in Indonesia in 2013 was 1.7 per mile and there was an increase in the number to 7 per mile in 2018. Based on East Java health profile data in 2021 the number of ODGJ (People With Mental Disorders) with serious disorders was 72,041 and the highest number was the city of Surabaya with the number 5,546 cases. Materials and methods: This research uses descriptive analytics. The sample was 104 families of patients with hallucinations in Surabaya. Data analysis used bivariate analysis using the independent sample t-test, Pearson correlation test and one-way ANOVA test. Results: Significance was found in different durations of hallucinatory disorders based on age group (sig 0.0001), mostly sufferers aged 18-25 years have a shorter period of hallucinatory disorders than sufferers aged 26 years and over; there is a difference in the duration of hallucinatory disorders between those treated by parents and family (sig 0.001) and between those treated by siblings and others (sig 0.014); There is a significant difference in the length of time people suffer from hallucinatory disorders based on the age of the patient's companion, 18-25 years and 26-49 years (sig 0.046) and the age of the patient's companion 18-25 years and 50 years and above (sig 0.012). Conclusion: This study aims to analyses the determinants that determine the duration of hallucinations in patients with mental health disorders in Surabaya City. Determinants that influence the length of time a patient has hallucinations include age, the sufferer's companion, and the companion's age. More optimal family functioning can reduce the amount of time of patient experiences hallucinations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Stunting is a disease that is a top priority in public health in the world, especially in developing countries. Indonesia has remained a lot of stunting disease due to various factors. Indonesia is a country with multiple religions and predominantly Islam. Therefore, efforts to prevent stunting are undertaken in various ways, such as conducting capacity building in Islamic boarding schools. This study aims to make Kader Dakwah Sehat as an effort to prevent stunting through capacity building. This study employed a quasi-experimental method, where the intervention provided was in the form of capacity building of respondents and indicators of success using a pre-posttest with the aim of seeing whether there are differences and the effectiveness of these activities. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the capacity building of Kader Dakwah Sehat as an effort to prevent stunting in Islamic boarding schools. The analysis used was paired t test. Respondents in this study were 100 Kader Dakwah Sehat. The result of this research was that the capacity building activity was running well as evidenced by the results of the discussion and activity processes during each stage. A cross-sectional study with a self-administered questionnaire based on the theory of planned behavior to analyze the factors associated with the intention of participating in peer education activities to prevent drug abuse among adolescents in high schools. A total of 854 students from school which held peer education activities participated in this study. This study found that 87.5% of students had the intention to participate in peer education activities. Of the eight variables which were significant in the chi-square analysis, only four were significant following the logistic regression test, namely attitude, normative belief, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control. The students had good support from individual and social factors in drug abuse prevention activities in their school. The support of the school and related stakeholders is still needed to make an effective program of drug abuse prevention by peer- educator. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Children in agricultural and coastal areas are more vulnerable to malnutrition. This study analyses children's eating habits in agricultural and coastal areas. This cross-sectional study involved 384 children under five and their parents in Sampang District, East Java, Indonesia. Milk and fruit consumption was low in both areas, especially in the agricultural area. Children's eating habits differed between coastal and agricultural areas due to disparities in food availability. Increasing consumption of milk and fruits (both areas), and vegetables (coastal area) that are preferred by children and widely available will benefit children's health in both areas. Introduction: Breastfeeding rates in Indonesia remain low, lagging behind global standards. Many factors affect this condition before and after birth. They include social, demographic, biological, and psychological factors. Many studies have shown that breastfeeding is very healthy for the baby and mother, but it's not as expected. Modern development causes shifts that are social, cultural, and economic. They erode support for breastfeeding mothers. This research aims to analyze the association between social determinants of health and exclusive breastfeeding in Palembang city, South Sumatra, Indonesia. These factors include jobs, education, parity, family, ethnicity, knowledge, attitudes, and sources of information. Materials and methods: This research used a cross-sectional approach. It studied eight tribes: Ogan, Bugis, Arab, Chinese, Javanese, Sundanese, Padang, and Batak. The sample for this research was 220 breastfeeding mothers . We collected samples using the cluster random sampling technique. Results: Around 70% of respondents provided exclusive breastfeeding. Multivariate analysis showed that mothers with some children ≤ 2 (aOR=2.050; CI 95%=1.019-4.126; p=0.044), partner support during delivery (aOR=2.280; CI 95%=1.019-4.126; p=0.013), and maternal in-law support (aOR=3.200; 95% CI= 1.725-5.936; p<0.001) have a significant association with exclusive breastfeeding. Conclusion: This research shows that, apart from parity, the relatively low level of exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by social determinants of health perspectives such as maternal and partner support. Background: Adolescents are a vulnerable group who have great curiosity and need access to various adolescent health information. Therefore, the government has implemented a strategy through the implementation of Youth Care Health Services (YCHS). However, some of the stakeholders and youth have limited access to YCHS especially the ones delivered in schools setting. The purpose of this study was to investigate the implementation of adolescent health programs in schools especially public schools and religion-based schools., Design and Methods: This study was an analytic observational quantitative study by using a cross-sectional design. This study was conducted in public schools and religion-based schools in North Surabaya Indonesia. The sample in this study consisted of 100 students through a simple random sampling technique., Results: There was a difference in the level of knowledge of adolescent reproductive health between public schools and religion-based schools (p=0.047). Student's attitudes (p=0.000) and environmental influences (p=0,000) both related with reproductive health contents. However, there was no difference in adolescent's attitudes about adolescent reproductive health programs (p=0.190) and adolescent's exposure to adolescent reproductive health policies (p=0.196)., Conclusion: The implementation of adolescent health programs in two types of schools (public and religion-based) were different. Adolescents should have the same right to obtain knowledge about adolescent health as the prelude for forming a positive attitude. Therefore, stakeholders need to conduct regular monitoring and evaluation on the implementation of standardized adolescent health programs in all types of schools.
