The goal of thisstudy is to determine the lipid-soluble vitamin contents in seeds of the some Onobrychis Miller taxa by using HPLC. Samples werecollected from the natural habitats. Studied materials were dissolved in acetonitrile/methanol (75/25 v/v)and were injected 50 μL to HPLC instrument (Shimadzu, Kyota Japan). Accordingto data obtained from present study showed that Onobrychis hypargyrea, Onobrychis viciifolia, Onobrychis caput-galli,Onobrychis fallax and Onobrychis oxyodontavar. armena have high lipide-soluble vitamin contents.Present studyfound that Onobrychis oxyodonta var.armena (1777,27±6,24 µg/g),Onobrychis fallax (916,0±4,51 µg/g) Onobrychishypargyrea (809,7±5,03 µg/g) and Onobrychisviciifolia (399,7±3,54 µg/g) have highest beta-caroten content. Also, Onobrychis caput-galli has high betacaroten content (73,3±,94 µg/g). on the other hand, it was found that Onobrychis fallax has highestgamma-tocopherol content (1401,2±8,76 µg/g). Onobrychis viciifolia (574,9±2,35 µg/g), Onobrychis caput-galli (410,1±4,56 µg/g), Onobrychis oxyodonta var. armena (267,7±3,68 µg/g), Onobrychis podporea (162,5±2,14 µg/g)werethe other high gamma tocopherol content. Whereas, retinol, retinol acetateand r-tocopherol contents were found absent or trace amounts in the presentstudy., Bu çalışmanın amacı, bazı OnobrychisMiller taksonlarının tohumlarındaki yağda çözünen vitamin içeriğini HPLCkullanarak belirlemektir. Bu çalışmada Fabaceae familyasından Chesneya Lindl. ex Endl. cinsinin Türkiye'de yayılış gösteren türleri üzerinde morfolojik, anatomik, karyolojik ve palinolojik araştırmalar yapılmıştır. Chesneya cinsi Türkiye'de iki türle temsil edilmektedir. Bunlar Chesneya elagans Fomin in Monit. ve Chesneya rytidosperma Jaub. & Spach dir. Bu türlere ait örnekler C.rytidosperma Elazığ Kömürhan köprüsü baraj üstü taşlık yamaçlardan, C.elegans Erzurum Oltu ilçesi Günlüce Köyü çevresinde taşlık yamaçlardan toplanmıştır. Bu iki taksondan Chesneya elagans endemik bir türdür. Çalışmamızda C. elegans ve C. rytidosperma türlerinin morfolojik, anatomik, karyolojik ve palinolojik araştırmalarının sonuçları verilmiştir. Çok yıllık olan her iki tür de kazık köke sahiptir. C. rytidosperma 10?40 cm C. elagans ise 8?25 cm uzunluğunda sürünücü gövdeye sahiptir. Yapraklar C. rytidosperma türünde orbikular, C. elagans türünde ise obovat şekillidir. Çalışmanın anatomi kısmında ise her iki türün kök, gövde ve yaprak enine kesitleri incelenmiştir. Türlerin kök enine kesitleri incelendiğinde C. rytidosperma' da 8?10 sıralı, C. elegans'da ise 5?7 sıralı peridermis tabakası gözlenmiştir. Gövde enine kesitleri incelendiğinde, C. rytidosperma ve C. elegans türlerinde sırasıyla 13?14 ve 10?12 adet iletim demeti bulunmaktadır. Her iki türün gövdesinde parankimatik bir öz bölgesi bulunmaktadır. Yaprak enine kesitleri incelendiğinde C. rytidosperma türünde 1?2 sıralı palizat parankiması bulunurken C. elegans'da 2?3 sıra palizat parankiması bulunmaktadır. Çalışmamızda türlere ait karyotip analizleri yapılmıştır. Türlere ait kromozom sayıları ve karyotip analizleri Türkiye için ilk defa bu çalışmada belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen kromozom sayıları C. elegans ve C. rytidosperma türleri için 2n= 2x= 16 olarak bulunmuştur. Çalışmamızda türlere ait palinolojik bulgularda verilmiştir. Her iki türe ait polenler; simetrik, izopolar, trikolporat olarak belirlenmiştir. In this study, Chesneya Lindl. ex Endl.types from Fabaceae family which shows deployment around Turkey morphological, anatomical, cariologic and palinological researches have been done. Chesneya type is represented in Turkey with two species. These are Chesneya elagans Fomin in Monit. and Chesneya rytidosperma Jaub. & Spach. The samples for C.rytidosperma have been gathered from Elazığ rocky slopes above Kömürhan Bridge of the dam, and the samples for C. elagans have been gathered rocky slopes around Günlüce Vilage from Oltu county of Erzurum. C. elagans is an endemic species. This study gives the results of morphological, anatomical, cariological and palinological analysis for the species of C. elagans and C. rytidosperma. Both species of many years has stake roots C. rytidosperma has 10?40 cm long and C. elagans has 8?25 cm long creeping body. The leaves are shaped as orbicular in C. rytidosperma and obovat in C. elagans. In anatomy part of the study, roots, bodies and leaves of both species have been analyzed. There are 8-10 layered peridermis in C. rytidosperma and 5?7 layered peridermis in C. elagans species in outer surface of root cross-sections. In cross-section of stem, 13?14 and 10?12 vascular bundles are present in C. rytidosperma and C. elagans respectively. In each two species, there is a parenchmatic pith area. In examination of leaf cross-section, while 1?2 layered palisade parenchyma is present in C. rytidosperma, it is 2?3 layered palisade parenchyma in C. elagans. In this study, cariotype analysis belongs to species have been done. Chromosome numbers and cariotype analysis for species have been accomplished first time in Turkey. Determined chromosome numbers for both species (C.elagans and C.rytidosperma) were found as 2n= 2x= 16. This study also emphasizes the palinolojical conclusions about the species. Pollens of both species were symetrical, isopolar and tricolporat. 146

Bu çalısmada, Türkiye genelinde yayılıs gösteren Onobrychis Miller cinsine ait 8 tür (O.caputgalli(L) LAM O.aequidentata (Sibth. & Sm.) d'Urv, O. fallax Freyn & Sint. var. fallax, O.lasiostachya Boiss, O. viciifolia Scop., O .oxyodonta Boiss. subsp. armena (Bois. & Huet)Aktoklu , O.hypargyrea Boiss., O. cappadocica Boiss.), karyolojik ve sitotaksonomikbakımdan incelenmistir. 0ncelenen türler, Lophobrychis, Onobrychis ve Hymenobrychisseksiyonlarında yer almaktadır. 0ncelenen 8 türün (O. caput-galli. O. aequidentata, O.fallax, O.lasiostachya, O. viciifolia, O. armena, O. hypargyrea, O. cappadocica) kromozom çalısmalarıiçin tohumlarından yararlanılmıstır. Kromozom çalısmaları sonucunda türlerin somatikkromozomlarının sayım ve ölçümleri yapılmıstır. Sekiz türden O.cappadocica 2n=16,O.viciifolia 2n=28, digerleri 2n=14 bulunmustur. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye genelinde yayılış gösteren Plantago L. cinsine ait 2 tür (P. lanceolata L. (Sp. PL), P. lagopus L. (Sp. Pl.)), karyolojik ve sitotaksonomik bakımdan incelenmiştir. İncelenen türler, Arnoglossum seksiyonunda yer almaktadır. İncelenen türlerin (P. lanceolata, P. lagopus) kromozom çalışmaları için tohumlarından yararlanılmıştır. Kromozom çalışmaları sonucunda türlerin somatik kromozomlarının sayım ve ölçümleri yapılmıştır. Çalışılan her iki türde de kromozom sayısı P. lanceolata 2n=12, P. Lagopus 2n=12 bulunmuştur.
