The investigation compared general information, tumor indices, fertility history, preoperative endometrial sampling methods, comorbidities, and clinical symptoms between the groups to identify risk factors for endometrial hyperplasia complicating endometrial cancer.Results: (1) Of the 200 patients, 68 (34.0%) were diagnosed with concurrent endometrial cancer post-hysterectomy. Among these, 60 (88.24%) had endometrioid adenocarcinoma, while 8 (11.76%) had other types. Stage I was identified in 58 patients (85.29%) and Stage II in 10 patients (14.71%). High differentiation was observed in 57 cases (83.82%), moderate differentiation in 7 cases (10.29%), and poor differentiation in 4 cases (5.89%), indicating that most endometrial cancers complicated by hyperplasia were early-stage, well-differentiated endometrioid carcinomas; (2) Univariate analysis revealed statistically significant differences in age, menopausal status, length of menopause, and preoperative endometrial pathology of severe atypical hyperplasia between the groups; (3) Multivariate analysis indicated significant differences for age ≥ 53.5 years (OR: 4.307, 95% CI: 2.018– 9.192, p < 0.05), menopausal status (OR: 5.250, 95% CI: 2.449– 11.252, p < 0.05), and severe atypical endometrial hyperplasia (OR: 4.817, 95% CI: 1.260– 18.419, p < 0.05); (4) Significant differences were observed among patients with endometrial hyperplasia when stratified by the presence of zero, one, two, or three high-risk factors.Conclusion: In conclusion, patients aged ≥ 53.5 years, those who are menopausal, and those with severe atypical endometrial hyperplasia preoperatively are at higher risk for endometrial cancer. Multifactor dimensionality reduction was applied to determine gene–gene interactions between SNPs.Results: MTNR1B SNPs rs10830962, rs10830963, rs1387153, rs7936247 and rs4753426 were significantly associated with GDM risk (P< 0.05). The rs10830962/G, rs10830963/G, rs1387153/T, and rs7936247/T were risk variants, whereas rs4753426/T was protective variant for GDM development. Fasting plasma glucose (FPG) and 1h-plasma glucose (PG) were significantly different among genotypes at rs10830962 and rs10830963, whereas 2h-PG levels were not. Gene–gene interactions were not found among the five SNPs on GDM risk.Conclusion: MTNR1B genetic variants have significant associations but no gene–gene interactions with GDM risk in central Chinese population. Pha@FPPC was characterized by transmission electron microscope and dynamic light scattering; also, antitumor activity in vivo and in vitro were investigated by determination of cellular ROS level, detection of cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, PDT antitumor activity in vivo and histological analysis.Results: With favorable and stable sphere morphology under transmission electron microscope (TEM) (∼93.0 nm), Pha@FPPC greatly enhanced the cellular uptake due to its folate-mediated effective endocytosis by mouse melanoma B16-F10 cells and the yield of ROS in tumor cells induced by PDT, and mainly caused necrocytosis and blocked cell growth cycle not only in G2 phase but also in G1/G0 phase after PDT. Pha@FPPC exhibited lower dark cytotoxicity in vitro and a better therapeutic index because of its higher dark cytotoxicity/photocytotoxicity ratio. Moreover, Pha@FPPC not only significantly inhibited the growth of implanted tumor and prolonged the survival time of melanoma-bearing mice due to both its folate-mediated tumor-targeting and selectively accumulation at tumor site by EPR (enhanced permeability and retention)effect as micelle nanoparticles but also remarkably prevented pulmonary metastasis of mice melanoma after PDT compared to free Pha, demonstrating its dual antitumor characteristics of PDT and HDACi.Conclusion: As a folate-mediated and acid-activated chidamide-grafted drug-delivery carrier, FPPC may have great potential to inhibit tumor metastasis in clinical photodynamic treatment for cancer because of its effective and multimodal tumor-targeting performance as photosensitizer vehicle.Keywords: photodynamic therapy, PDT, histone deacetylase inhibitor, HDACi, micelles, folate, pH-responsive, photosensitizer

In this work, superparamagnetic Fe3O4 mesoporous silica nanoparticles grafted by pH-responsive block polymer polyethylene glycol-b-poly(aspartic acid) (PEG-b-PAsp) were fabricated to load the model photosensitizer rose bengal (RB) in the aim of enhancing the efficiency of PDT. Compared to free RB, the nanocomposites (polyethylene glycol-b-polyaspartate-modified rose bengal-loaded magnetic mesoporous silica [RB–MMSNs]) could greatly enhance the cellular uptake due to their effective endocytosis by mouse melanoma B16 cell and exhibited higher induced apoptosis although with little dark toxicity. RB–MMSNs had little dark toxicity and even much could be facilitated by magnetic field in vitro. RB–MMSNs demonstrated 10 times induced apoptosis efficiency than that of free RB at the same RB concentration, both by cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) result and apoptosis detection. Furthermore, RB–MMSNs-mediated PDT in vivo on tumor-bearing mice showed steady physical targeting of RB–MMSNs to the tumor site; tumor volumes were significantly reduced in the magnetic field with green light irradiation. More importantly, the survival time of tumor-bearing mice treated with RB–MMSNs was much prolonged. Henceforth, polyethylene glycol-b-polyaspartate-modified magnetic mesoporous silica (MMSNs) probably have great potential in clinical cancer photodynamic treatment because of their effective and low-toxic performance as photosensitizers’ vesicles. The drug system (oMCN@DOX@PEG) exhibited excellent stability under neutral pH conditions, but with dramatic releases of DOX at reduced pH conditions. Pharmacokinetics study revealed that oMCN@DOX@PEG could prolong the circulation of DOX in the blood stream. The endocytosis, cytotoxicity, and anticancer effect in vitro and in vivo of the drug-loaded nanoparticles were also evaluated. Our results showed that the nanoparticles efficiently penetrated the membrane of tumor cells, subsequently released drugs, and efficiently inhibited the growth of cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo. Especially, oMCN@DOX@PEG also exhibited significant antimetastasis effect in advanced stage of malignant cancer, improving the survival time of tumor-bearing mice. Chlorite is present extensively in many types of deposits. The mechanism underlying the chemical variations in chlorite remains unclear. The Naruo porphyry deposit is a giant copper porphyry deposit in the Duolong ore district of Tibet. Chlorite, which is abundant in this deposit, has yet to be studied systematically; hence, we used principal component analysis (PCA) to assess the correlation between chlorite elements and various types of mineral deposits. We then conducted a preliminary investigation into its mineralogy and geochemistry to better understand its formation process and identify potential prospecting indicators. The PCA method proved effective in discerning two distinctive element signatures within the chlorite and categorising them into four deposit types: orogenic Au deposits, granite-type U deposits, and skarn-type Sn deposits that exhibit high FeO and low MgO distinguishing them from porphyry copper deposits. The chlorite in the Naruo deposit is classified as either early metasomatic (M-type), consisting mainly of clinochlore, or late hydrothermal (H-type), primarily consisting of clinochlore and chamosite. This classification suggests that H-type chlorite formed in a reductive environment conducive to Cu precipitation at medium temperatures (255°C–342°C). Al-Si and Fe-Mg substitutions were found to be the primary processes involved in its generation. Additionally, from the mineralisation centre outwards, there was an observed decrease in Si content as well as the Fe/(Fe+Mg) ratio in H-type chlorite, along with decreases in temperature, sulphur, and oxygen fugacity of all chlorites; conversely, increases were observed for Al content along with Mg and Mn elements in H-type chlorite. Chlorite is useful for exploring porphyry copper systems as an indicator mineral.

Summary: Low computational efficiency is one of the crucial challenges in electromagnetic forming process simulation. However, the huge gap in switching from the electromagnetic field to mechanics hinders the development of high-efficiency parallel coupling. A graphics processing unit (GPU)-based explicit-implicit coupling method is proposed to address the high-computational cost in simulations of the electromagnetic forming process, in which the large deformation (explicit) and electromagnetic field (implicit) are intimately coupled. The electromagnetic-mechanical coupling is achieved by constructing five parallel algorithms, which include the parallel operations of vector-vector, matrix-matrix, matrix-vector, vector assembly, and matrix-free assembly parallel preconditioned conjugate gradient algorithm. The high-efficiency GPU parallel computing is realized through the special data storage structure and parallel strategies. The explicit-implicit GPU method is validated against the experimental results, and several examples are presented for simulations of the electromagnetic forming process to illustrate both the accuracy and high-efficiency parallel acceleration performance of the present program.

The WHO has declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a public health emergency of international concern. Oral pre-examination and triage work is one of the central tasks of epidemic prevention and control in dental medical institutions. This article introduces the development of pre-examination and triage management in the Outpatient Department of Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology in epidemic prevention and control. Based on the experience in diagnosis and management, gradually explore the management of pre-examination and triage that conforms to the characteristics of the dental profession. By clarifying the organization and management of pre-examination and triage work in outpatient clinics, establish pre-examination and triage work systems, job responsibilities, and formulate pre-examination of dental outpatients according to patient risk classification. The primary screening process and the tertiary screening plan, various emergency plans and the treatment process for special patients, strengthen the pre-inspection staff's study of prevention and control policies and regulations, and gradually form the dental clinic pre-examination score Diagnosis management system. At the same time, it is also seen that in the normalization of epidemic prevention and control for several years, the development of oral pre-examination and triage has become more standardized and more information technology has been used to help fight the epidemic. This study investigated the implication of monitoring hypertensive disorders in pregnancy (HDP) to prevent preeclampsia (PE) in pregnant women of advanced maternal age. Between January 2016 and April 2021, 262 consecutive pregnant women aged ≥40 years were recruited. Extensive monitoring of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, including blood hypercoagulability screening and subsequent interventions, was performed in 129 pregnant women in our university hospital. The remaining 133 patients from other centres, who did not receive antenatal maternal pregnancy screening and preventive intervention during the same period, constituted the non-intervention group enabling comparison to mimic a trial. The incidences of hypertensive disorders, mild and severe PE, eclampsia, and chronic hypertension complicated by PE in the intervention group were significantly lower than in the non-intervention group (10.08 versus 20.30%, 8.52 versus 18.80%, 7.75 versus 21.05%, 0 versus 3.01%, and 3.86 versus 15.04%, respectively; P < 0.05). Premature birth, low birth weight, and foetal loss were significantly rarer in the intervention group than in the non-intervention group (6.98 versus 24.81%, 7.75 versus 21.80%, and 0.78 versus 14.29% respectively; P < 0.001). The comparison of MP with routine blood coagulation biochemical examination found that the MP detection system of Beijing Yes Medical Devices Co., Ltd., had similar sensitivity as thromboelastogram. Still, it was significantly better than the routine biochemical indicators (P < 0.01). Based on MP parameters, early anticoagulant treatment with low-molecular-weight heparin or low-dose aspirin in pregnant women with hypercoagulability can effectively prevent the occurrence of PE and significantly improve the prognosis of both mothers and infants.

To investigate the influence of preservation methods and processes on the plasma interleukin-6 (IL-6) stability.

The Tiegelongnan Cu (Au, Ag) deposit in central Tibet contains more than 10 Mt of copper ranking 29th in the world. It is characterized by typical porphyry-epithermal alteration and mineralization. In order to improve the understanding of porphyry-epithermal copper deposit in Tibet, new zircon U-Pb age and sulfur isotope data along with published data in the Tiegelongnan are presented to investigate the formation and preservation mechanism. Ore-related intrusive rocks in the Tiegelongnan including Early Cretaceous (about 120 Ma) granodiorite porphyry and diorite porphyry are closely related to the northward subduction of Bangongco-Nujiang ocean. Sulfur mainly comes from deep magma, and ore-forming fluid is affected by both magmatic and meteoric water. The metallogenic setting of Tiegelongnan is consistent with those of Andean porphyry copper deposits in South America. The cover of the Meiriqiecuo Formation volcanic rocks, Lhasa-Qiangtang collision and India-Eurasian collision have significance in the preservation and uplift of the deposit. The formation, preservation and discovery of Tiegelongnan play an important role in exploration of ancient porphyry-epithermal deposits in Tibet.© 2022 China Geology Editorial Office.

As a function of a circular polarization beam splitter (CPBS), combining a linear polarization beam splitter with a quarter-wave plate results in a polarization error in a circular polarization fiber-optic circuit. To relieve the error, chiral dual-core photonic crystal fiber (DC-PCF) is investigated as a kind of an efficient circular polarization beam splitter by using the chiral plane-wave expansion (PWE) method. On the basis of the competitive effect in polarization and coupling length between the circular asymmetry of the structure and the chirality of the medium, the effects of the structure and the chirality are analyzed. The numerical results demonstrate that a CPBS needs the weak circular asymmetry in its structure and a relatively stronger chirality of the medium. Then, a kind of CPBS based on chiral DC-PCF is designed with weaker chirality, with a central wavelength of 1.55 μm. The simulation shows the superior performance of having a shorter coupling length and a higher extinction ratio. Furthermore, the dual-wavelength of 1.55 μm and 1.30 μm with left-circular polarization can further be separated by the corresponding chiral DC-PCF. The results show promising applications for the circular polarized multiplexer/demultiplexer in fiber laser communication systems.

Objective: This study aims to evaluate the safety, utilization, ability to reduce length of hospitalization and overall outcomes of a COVID-19 virtual ward providing ongoing treatment at home. Method: A retrospective single-center study of patients discharged to the COVID-19 virtual “step down” ward between January 27th 2021 and March 2nd 2021. The referral process, length of hospitalization, length of stay on the virtual ward, readmissions, and ongoing treatment requirements including supplemental oxygen, antibiotics, and/or steroids were all noted. Results: A total of 50 patients were referred to the virtual ward. 43 referrals were accepted, 39 of which were from the respiratory ward. Four patients were readmitted, all due to hypoxia. All readmissions occurred within 5 days of discharge. 72% (n = 31) were discharged home with an ongoing oxygen requirement. 14.3% of patients were discharged with antibiotics only, 9.5% with steroids only and 23.8% with both antibiotics and steroids. The mean length of hospital stay for patients discharged to the virtual ward was 10.3 ± 9.7 days and 11.9 ± 11.6 days for all covid positive patients during this time. On average, patients spent 13.7 ± 7.3 days on the virtual ward. The average number of days spent on oxygen on the virtual ward was 11.6 ± 6.0 days. Conclusion: The virtual ward model exemplifies the potential benefits of collaborative working between primary and secondary care services, relieving pressure on hospitals whilst providing ongoing treatments at home such as supplemental oxygen. It also facilitates an early supported discharge of clinically stable patients with an improving clinical trajectory by managing them in the community.

The Advanced Along-Track Scanning Radiometer (AATSR) aboard on ENVISAT is used to observe the Earth by dual-view. The AATSR data can be used to retrieve aerosol optical depth (AOD) over both land and ocean, which is an important merit in the characterization of aerosol properties. In recent years, aerosol retrieval algorithms both over land and ocean have been developed, taking advantages of the feature of dual-view which can help eliminate contribution of Earth's surface to top of atmosphere (TOA) reflectance. Aerosol-cci project as a part of Climate Change Initiative (CCI) provides users three AOD retrieval algorithms for AATSR data, including the Swansea algorithm (SU), the ATSR-2ATSR dual view aerosol retrieval algorithm (ADV) and the Oxford-RAL Retrieval of Aerosol and Cloud algorithm (ORAC). The Validation team of Aerosol-CCI project has validated AOD (both Level 2 and Level 3 products) and AE (Level 2 product only) against the AERONET data in a round robin evaluation using validation tool of AeroCOM (Aerosol Comparison between Observations and Models) project. For the purpose of evaluating different performances of these three algorithms on calculating AODs over mainland China, we introduce ground-based data from the CARSNET (the China Aerosol Remote Sensing Network) which is designed for aerosol observation in China. Because China is vast in territory and of great differences in surface, the combination of the AEROENT and the CATRNET data can validate L2 AOD products more comprehensively. The validation results show different performances of these products in 2007, 2008 and 2010. The SU algorithm has very good performance over sites with different surface conditions in mainland China from March to October, but it underestimates AOD slightly with varying mean bias error (MBE) from 0.05 to 0.10 over surface of barren or sparsely vegetation in western China. The ADV product has same precision with high correlation coefficient (CC) larger than 0.90 over most of sites and same error distribution as the SU product. The main limits of ADV algorithm are underestimation and applicability, especially it occurs obvious underestimation over sites of Datong, Lanzhou and Urmuchi where the dominated land cover is grassland with MBE larger than 0.2 and the main source of aerosol is coal combustion and dust. The ORAC algorithm has the ability of retrieving AOD at different ranges including high AOD (larger than 1.0), however, the stability will decease significantly as AOD grows, especially when AOD > 1.0. In addition, ORAC product get matches successfully collocated with CARSNET in winter (December, January and February), whereas other validation results lack matches during winter. To accurately assess the state of a generator in wind turbines and find abnormalities in time, the method based on improved random forest (IRF) is proposed. The balancing strategy that is a combination of oversampling technique (SMOTE) and undersampling is applied for imbalanced data. Bootstrap is applied to resample original data sets of generator side from the supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system, and decision trees are generated. After the decision trees with different classification capabilities are weighted, an IRF model is established. The accuracy and performance of the model are based on 10-fold cross-validation and confusion matrix. The 60 testing sets are assessed, and the accuracy is 95.67%. It is more than 1.67% higher than traditional classifiers. The probabilities of 60 data sets at each class are calculated, and the corresponding state class is determined. The results show that the proposed IRF has higher accuracy, and the state can be assessed effectively. The method has a good application prospect in the state assessment of wind power equipment.

One-year-old bulblets of Lycoris aurea were obtained by propagation of cuttings. Different concentrations of N-(2-chloro-4-pyridyl)-N1-phenylurea (CPPU; 0,1.0,2.0,5.0,7.5, or 10.0 mg l-1) were sprayed on all the leaves on each plant at the green-leaf stage. Morphological indices including bulblet fresh weights (FW) and diameters, carbohydrate concentrations, the activities of enzymes related to starch metabolism, and the concentrations of endogenous hormones were determined in bulblets during dormancy. Bivariate correlation analysis was used to analyse the relationships of all parameters. The results showed that spray treatment with an appropriate concentration of CPPU was beneficial for the enlargement of L. aurea bulblets. The optimum concentration was 1.0 mg l-1. Bivariate correlation analysis showed that bulblet FW and diameter had a significant (P ≤ 0.05) positive correlation with starch concentration. The concentration of zeatin riboside (ZR) showed a significant (P ≤ 0.01) positive correlation with soluble starch synthase (SSS) and granule-bound starch synthase (GBSS) activities. Our study indicated that 1.0 mg l-1 CPPU promoted the activity of starch synthase and accelerated the accumulation of starch in bulblets, and that the observed increase in endogenous ZR may also have an important role. Effect of dynamic backlash and rotational speed is investigated on the six-degree-of-freedom model of the gear-bearing system with the time-varying meshing stiffness. The relationship between dynamic backlash and center distance can be defined clearly. The nonlinear differential equations of the model are solved by the Newmark-β method. The results show that system amplitude increases in the wake of increasing rotational speed. After reaching a certain rotational speed, the system jumps from periodic motion to chaos motion, and the effective amplitude is changed violently. Comparing the dynamic backlash with fixed backlash, the amplitude of the dynamic backlash is augmented and the frequency components are diversified. The vibration displacement is enlarged by the dynamic backlash and the chaotic behavior of the system becomes complex with increasing rotational speed. The numerical results provide a useful reference source for engineers to select rotational speed section for steady running.
