Radiossondas, também chamadas de sondas atmosféricas, são muito utilizadas para a aquisição de diversas variáveis atmosféricas com finalidades desde previsão de tempo e, também, em segurança aeronáutica. Estas, porém, tem um custo elevado de aquisição por serem importadas. Por isso, neste trabalho será exposto o resultado de um lançamento de uma sonda desenvolvida utilizando materiais de baixo custo com resultados muito interessantes. A telemetria utilizada (comunicação via Morse e SDR) permitiu à comunicação a longa distância. Além disso, este projeto teve por objetivo fazer com que os alunos se envolvessem nas diversas etapas do projeto, desde o planejamento, construção, lançamento, recuperação e análise de dados meteorológicos obtidos.

3. Measuring saccades in patients with Niemann-Pick type C: A comparison between video-oculography and a novel eye tracking test based on continuous psychophysics

Introduction: Vertical supranuclear gaze palsy is a key feature of Niemann-Pick type C (NP-C) and is commonly quantified using video-oculography (VOG). VOG requires sitting still for long times and performing specific tasks, thus it can be challenging or impossible for patients severely affected by movement disorders or cognitive impairment. To overcome this limitation, we measure saccades of NP-C patients using a fast eye tracking test based on continuous psychophysics and compare it to VOG. Methods: Saccades of six NP-C patients and six age-matched controls were assessed using VOG and Standardized Oculomotor and Neuro-ophthalmic Disorders Assessment (SONDA). In SONDA, participants continuously track a semi-randomly moving dot on a computer screen while their gaze is being tracked. For both assessments, saccades were quantified using four conventional measures: amplitude, gain, latency, and peak velocity. Furthermore, SONDA’s continuous measures were quantified with several novel spatio-temporal properties. Results: In the NP-C patients, both methods revealed reduced amplitude, gain, peak velocity, and increased latency of vertical saccades compared to horizontal saccades and compared to healthy controls. Effect sizes obtained with SONDA were overall larger than those for VOG. SONDA’s spatio-temporal properties showed similar trends. Conclusion: SONDA reveals a deterioration of vertical saccades in NP-C patients that is consistent with VOG. SONDA’s measures based on continuous psychophysics are consistent with traditional saccadic parameters and can potentially provide complementary information. SONDA shows larger effect sizes than VOG, suggesting that it provides robust and clinically relevant outcomes with a more intuitive task and shorter testing time.

Introduction--It was developed a device that can be conditioned for unmanned aircraft, this device allows that in case an aircraft falls and is lost in a non-specific area, through it the rescue of the aircraft is achieved by sending the coordinate in which it is. Objective--To develop a georeferencing system for unmanned aircraft by implementing an electronic system which can encode and transmit the data of its current position, in addition to developing a visualization system through a detectable circuit to stroboscopic devices feeding these two parts by means of a prototype. which provides alternative energy, all this within a system against impacts. Methodology--It is a device that sends the coordinate using the plate pi in the sky which has the Radiometrix transmitter module, for these tests were made to a remote base where a computer with a series of programs will decode and show the position of this in time real to subsequently achieve his rescue. Results--The Pi in The Sky board was able to implement the project, which is able to encode the coordinate for its subsequent transmission to the base using the Radiometrix module, reaching transmissions over 11km, checking the robust protocol it uses. It was possible to implement a stroboscopic circuit that meets the requirements of the project, obtaining favorable characteristics such as its light intensity and long duration that is around 72 hours active. Conclusions--With this research work it is concluded that the project achieves transmissions more than 11 km away to a remote base without any mishap and thereby obtaining a data frame (latitude longitude and altitude in meters) to achieve its georeferencing at all times. Atmospheric probes are widely used for the acquisition of various atmospheric variables with purposes from weather forecasting to aeronautical safety. The nasogastric tube is used for patients that cannot fulfill their daily caloric supply by voluntarily ingesting their meals. This method is commonly used for both dogs and cats, regardless of their breed, body weight or age, being easy to mount. The administered diet must cover the requirements of every patient, calculating the calories, and the food must contain energetic substances of the highest quality, fatty essential accids, proteins and micronutrients. This type of enteral feeding can be temporarily used up to a maximum of five days. For a successful placement of the nasogastric tube, all the mounting stages have to be strictly respected, and before suturing it is required to check if the mounting was done properly. The nasogastric tube isn’t a method of choice for patients presenting regular vomiting episodes, for comatose patients, or for those presenting severe dyspnoea. It is also not recommended in patients who suffered facial trauma, or in patients who present tumors at the nasal cavity, pharynx, larynx or esophagus. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

8. Infección urinaria nosocomial y microorganismos implicados.

Introduction: the nosocomial urinary tract infections are a common complication and a major health problem due to complications and frequent recurrences. It aims to identify microorganisms involved in nosocomial urinary infections, their relationship with the use of probe and hospital stay. Materials & methods: a descriptive retrospective study. Surveillance bases restricting urinary tract infections hospital origins were reviewed; general characteristics were described and differences between the lengths of time of stay were screened by microorganism Kluskal Wallis for a significance level of 95%. Results: 167 urinary tract infections were found of hospital origin, the median age was found to be of 75; most females (58%), 34.1% associated with the use of probe; 10% died in the hospital, most came from the adult intensive care unit. The most frequently isolated microorganism was Escherichia coli (46.1%); patients contributed a median stay of 20 days. Significant differences in length of stay by microorganism isolated in catheter-associated urinary tract infection was found, the microorganism related to the greatest length of stay was Proteus mirabilis; the remaining differences were not significant. Conclusions: The most frequently isolated microorganism was Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis was found to be related to probe the use and length of stay, additional studies are required to determine associations between hospital stay and resistance phenotypes empirical treatment protocols available to the date, consistent microorganisms isolated. O conhecimento da arquitetura do sistema radicular da cana-de-açúcar ainda è limitado devido às dificuldades metodológicas para o seu estudo. A forma correta de avaliar o sistema radicular não foi claramente estabelecida. Este estudo objetivou a comparação de dois mètodos diretos de avaliação da biomassa radicular: coleta de monólitos de solo e coleta de amostras em sonda. Para isto foram estabelecidas três parcelas experimentais (7,2 m2) completamente ao acaso em área de plantio de cana-de-açúcar sobre solo Neossolo Quartzarenico localizado no município de São Pedro - SP. Uma planta dentro de cada parcela experimental foi selecionada para o estudo do sistema radicular. A amostragem com sonda foi realizada em 9 pontos dentro da metade do polígono de voronoi e a densidade radicular estimada em 9 combinações de pontos de amostragem. As amostras de raízes coletadas pelos dois mètodos de estudo foram separadas do solo por meio da lavagem com água corrente em um conjunto de peneiras. El presente tiene como objetivo desarrollar un simulador de trayectoria ascendente y descendente de un globo-sonda, así como el dimensionamiento a subsistema de navegación en misiones de carácter de espacio cercano (Near-Space); aportando significativo a las misiones Near-Space del Observatorio Micro-Macro (OMM), con un simulador preliminar que desempeña un papel crucial en la mitigación de riesgos y la predicción de la trayectoria del globo sonda. Además, esta investigación busca que en el país se avance en el conocimiento de los diferentes factores que influyen en el movimiento de los globos-sonda, lo cual ofrece una mejor comprensión de la exploración de la estratosfera.

Tato práce se věnuje fluorescenci, biomolekulám a jejich značení. Fluorescence je popsána v kontextu s luminiscencí. Jsou zmíněny její typy a uveden rozdíl mezi nimi. Dále jsou diskutovány vnitřní a vnější luminofory - se zaměřením na fluorofory a jejich výskytem a využitím. V druhé části jsou popsány biomolekuly a jejich značení, podrobně se práce věnuje nukleovým kyselinám a bílkovinám. Je popsáno imunoanalytické značení biomolekul. The paper is devoted to the theoretical foundation of the new humanities that have been recently developing in Poland. They result mainly from the need to surpass the theoretical and methodological horizon that was outlined by modern theory, especially by structuralism. The author argues that the more the new humanities attempt to revoke the modern theory, the more they are faithful to its premises. By analyzing the latest works of Ryszard Nycz, one of the main founders of the theoretical bases of the new humanities in Poland, the author shows i.a. how the main concepts of the main theory (in this case – mainly the concept of sounding out) work at its behalf., The paper is devoted to the theoretical foundation of the new humanities that have been recently developing in Poland. Frequency domain reflectometry (FDR) is widely used to measure soil water content. However, the effects of soil composition on FDR calibration have to be quantified to reduce the need for further calibration. Our objectives were to: (1) evaluate the accuracy of EC-5 for measuring water content in sandy soils, and (2) develop a soil-specific sensor calibration curve. Disturbed and undisturbed soil samples were collected in one Spodosol profile (07° 37' 30" S, 34° 57' 30" W) representative of the region where sugarcane is grown in northeastern Brazil. Regression analysis showed good accuracy and low error (RMSE = 0.01 m³ m-3), while without specific calibration the error was higher (RMSE = 0.06 m³ m-3). The EC-5 sensor should be subjected to field-specific calibration in sandy soils due to the low field capacity and water content during the growing season. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Viruses cause human diseases such as influenza, rage, yellow fever and hemorrhagic fever. In addition, they have characteristics such as high genetic variability, virulence and easy transmission and production with minimum level of infrastructure, which make them not only a public health but also a biosecurity problem. Therefore, the development of accurate and versatile biodetection systems is a challenge in which DNA microarray technology is released as an ideal system. Objectives: Probe design for virus detection by microarray technology. Materials and Methods: Virus families with interest in biodefense were selected and the complete genomes of the reference viruses were searched in the databases (GenBank). Fragments of 60 nucleotides with some specific physical characteristics were identified. Finally, cross- hybridization capacity was also evaluated with BLASTN software. Results: Viral genomes from nine families were obtained. A total of 54 probe nucleotides were designed, six of them corresponding to influenza A type H1N1 virus and the sequences were classified according to their identity index, allowing to predict the diagnostic capacity of the designed probes. Conclusion: It has been found enough sequences to identify nine virus families with interest in biodefense by means of the DNA microarray technology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

19. Vajinal Brakiterapi Uygulanan Endometrium Kanserli Hastalarda Mesane Doluluğunun Kritik Organ Dozları Üzerine Etkisi.

- Abstract
Amaç: Endometrium kanseri tedavisinde total histerektomi ve bilateral salpingo-ooferektomiye adjuvan vajinal brakiterapi eklenmesi önemli bir lokal kontrol avantajı sağlar. Vaginal cuff brakiterapisi (VCB) ile vajinal mukozaya yüksek doz tanımlanırken, mesane, rektum ve sigmoid kolon gibi normal dokuları yüksek dozdan korumak hedeflenir. VCB'de tedavi alan ve dozları American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) ve Groupe Europeen de Curietherapie and the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (GEC-ESTRO) önerileri ile belirlenir ancak tedavi sırasında mesane doluluk oranı ile ilgili fikir birliği yoktur. Bu çalışmada vajinal brakiterapi uygulanan hastalarda mesane doluluk oranının mesane, rektum ve sigmoid kolondaki dozimetrik etkisini incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Nisan 2022-Aralık 2022 tarihleri arasında evre 1A-3B endometrium kanseri tanısıyla postoperatif VCB uygulanan 36 hasta çalışmaya dahil edildi. Hastaların tamamına total histerektomi, bilateral salpingooferektomi ve pelvik lenf nodu diseksiyonu yapıldı. Hastalar VCB tedavisi öncesindeki mesane doluluğuna göre iki grup olarak tanımlandı. Dolu mesane grubu olarak tanımlanan on sekiz (18) hastaya tedavi öncesi sonda takılarak mesane içine 4 cc kontrast madde, 23 cc serum fizyolojik enjekte edildikten sonra sonda klipslendi. Boş mesane grubu tanımındaki on sekiz (18) hasta ise tedavi öncesi mesanenin boşaltımı sağlandıktan sonra rezidü idrar ile sonda takılmadan tedaviye alındı. Her iki gruptaki hastalara oral veya intravenöz kontrast madde kullanılmadı. Dolu mesane grubunda 1 hastaya multichannel ile, 17 hastaya silindir aplikatörü ile, boş mesane grubunda ise 13 hastaya multichannel ile, 5 hastaya silindir aplikatörü ile VCB tedavisi uygulandı. Her iki grupta da doz volum histogramından (DVH) mesane, rektum ve sigmoid kolonun sırasıyla 0,1; 1 ve 2 cc'lik volümunun aldığı doza bakılarak bu organlar için BED10 ve EQD2 değeri hesaplandı. Bağımsız gruplar arasındaki sayısal değişkenler için Mann-Whitney U testi, oranlar için ki-kare testi kullanıldı. Bulgular: Hastaların medyan yaşı 62 (44-83) idi. Boş ve dolu mesane grubunun her ikisinde de medyan BED10 ve EQD2 değeri aynıydı ve sırasıyla 154.000 ve 121.000 cGy idi. Boş mesane grubunda dolu mesane grubuna göre mesane ve sigmoid kolon volümünde 0,1;1 ve 2 cc dozları için BED10 ve EQD2 değeri istatistiksel anlamlı olarak daha düşük bulundu (sırasıyla 0,1; 1, 2 cc mesane BED10 değeri için p=0,05, p=0,03, p=0,03, mesane EQD2 değeri için p=0,05, p=0,03, p=0,03, sigmoid kolon BED10 değeri için p<0,001, p<0,001, p<0,001, sigmoid kolon EQD2 değeri için p<0,001, p<0,001, p<0,001). Rektum volümündeki 0,1; 1 ve 2 cc dozları için BED10 ve EQD2 değeri iki grup arasında istatistiksel anlamlı saptanmadı. Sonuç: Çalışmamızda mesane ve sigmoid kolon dozları boş mesane grubunda tedavi planında daha düşük saptanmışken rektum dozları arasında istatistiksel fark saptanmamıştır. Boş mesane ile tedavi planlanan endometrium kanserli hastalarda dolu mesane ile tedavi planlanlara göre kritik organlar daha iyi korunabilir. Aynı zamanda sonda uygulanmaması hastada gelişebilecek sekonder enfeksiyon ve üreter iritasyonunun azalmasına katkıda bulunabilir. Tedavi sırasında boş mesane ile hastaların tedaviye alınması hedef hacimde herhangi bir doz değişikliğine sebep olmazken özellikle mesane ve sigmoid kolon toksisitesinde azalma sağlayacağı düşünülmüştür. A espetroscopia de Raman remota e portátil tem vindo a provar o seu papel nas mais diversas áreas de aplicação e investigação. Dentro desta perspetiva, neste trabalho de disser- tação pretendeu-se alargar as capacidades analíticas de um microscópio confocal de Raman existente mediante da otimização de uma sonda de Raman para um laser de 638 nm para aná- lises remotas. Uma vez que a descrição e as especificações do fabricante desta sonda são desconheci- das, realizou-se um estudo das componentes que a integram e das características do feixe de excitação ao longo do percurso ótico, bem como do sinal de Raman até ser detetado. Como resultado desta caracterização, foram realizadas alterações na sonda por forma a otimizar a potência do feixe de excitação numa amostra. A principal aplicação em vista desta sonda é a realização de medições de Raman remotas no estudo de património cultural. Para mostrar o seu potencial, realizou-se a análise de amos- tras de pigmentos. Para identificação dos pigmentos, as amostras foram inicialmente analisa- das pelo microscópio confocal de Raman com lasers de excitação de 638 nm e 785 nm e por espetroscopia de EDXRF triaxial. Numa tentativa de se analisar as amostras com a sonda, verificou-se que se continuava sem se obter sinal de Raman no espetrómetro, possivelmente devido a um defeito no filtro Rayleigh. Contudo, a certificação de que existe passagem de sinal até ao detetor no espetró- metro permite afirmar que as melhorias realizadas e uma futura substituição do filtro defeitu- oso permitirá tornar a sonda operacional e mais eficiente do que no passado. Remote and portable Raman spectroscopy has been established as a suitable tool in the most diverse fields of research and application. This way, this thesis intends to expand the analytical capabilities of an existing Raman confocal microscope through optimization of a Raman SuperHead® for a 638 nm laser for remote analysis. Since the manufacturer’s description and specifications for this SuperHead® are un- known, a study was made about its components and the characteristics of the excitation beam throughout the optical path, as well as the Raman signal until it is detected. As a result, mod- ifications were made to the probe in order to optimize the intensity of the excitation beam in the sample. The main application in view for this probe is to carry out remote Raman measurements in the study of cultural heritage. To show its potential, an analysis of pigment samples was performed. To identify the pigments, the samples were initially analyzed through the Raman confocal microscope with excitation lasers of 638 nm and 785 nm and through triaxial EDXRF spectroscopy. In an attempt to analyze the samples with the probe, it was seen that there were still no Raman signal being obtained by the spectrometer, possibly due to a defect in the Rayleigh filter. Nevertheless, the certification that there is a signal passage to the detector in the spec- trometer allows to affirm that the improvements made and a future replacement of the defec- tive filter will make the probe operational and more efficient than in the past.

21. Georeferencing and rescue system for unmanned aircraft

Introduction: It was developed a device that can be conditioned for unmanned aircraft, this device allows that in case an aircraft falls and is lost in a non-specific area, through it the rescue of the aircraft is achieved by sending the coordinate in which it is. Objective: To develop a georeferencing system for unmanned aircraft by implementing an electronic system which can encode and transmit the data of its current position, in addition to developing a visualization system through a detectable circuit to stroboscopic devices feeding these two parts by means of a prototype. which provides alternative energy, all this within a system against impacts. Methodology: It is a device that sends the coordinate using the plate pi in the sky which has the Radiometrix transmitter module, for these tests were made to a remote base where a computer with a series of programs will decode and show the position of this in time real to subsequently achieve his rescue. Results: The Pi in The Sky board was able to implement the project, which is able to encode the coordinate for its subsequent transmission to the base using the Radiometrix module, reaching transmissions over 11km, checking the robust protocol it uses. It was possible to implement a stroboscopic circuit that meets the requirements of the project, obtaining favorable characteristics such as its light intensity and long duration that is around 72 hours active. Conclusions: With this research work it is concluded that the project achieves transmissions more than 11km away to a remote base without any mishap and thereby obtaining a data frame (latitude longitude and altitude in meters) to achieve its georeferencing at all times., Introducción: Se desarrolló un dispositivo que puede ser acondicionado para aeronaves no tripuladas, este dispositivo lo que permite es que en caso de que una aeronave caiga y se pierda en una zona no especifica, a través del mismo se logre el rescate de la aeronave enviando la coordenada en la que se encuentra. Objetivo: Desarrollar un sistema de georreferenciación para aeronaves no tripuladas implementando un sistema electrónico el cual pueda codificar y transmitir los datos de su posición actual, además desarrollar un sistema de visualización mediante un circuito detectable a dispositivos estroboscópicos alimentando estas dos partes por medio un prototipo el cual proporcione energía alternativa, todo esto dentro de un sistema contra impactos. Metodología: Es un dispositivo que envía la coordenada utilizando la placa pi in the sky la cual posee el módulo transmisor Radiometrix, para estos se realizaron pruebas a una base remota donde un computador con una serie de programas decodificara y mostrara la posición de esta en tiempo real para posteriormente lograr su rescate. Resultados: Se logró implementar al proyecto la placa Pi in The Sky la cual es capaz de codificar la coordenada para su posterior transmisión a la base usando el módulo Radiometrix, llegando a transmisiones de más 11km comprobando el robusto protocolo que usa. Se consiguió implementar un circuito estroboscópico que cumple con las exigencias del proyecto, obteniendo características a favor como lo es su intensidad lumínica y larga duración que está alrededor de las 72 Horas activas. Conclusiones: Con éste trabajo investigativo se concluye que el proyecto logra transmisiones a más de 11k m de distancia a una base remota sin ningún percance y con ello obteniendo una trama de datos (latitud longitud y altitud en metros) para lograr su georreferenciación en todo momento.

[Resumen] El presente artículo, versa sobre la posibilidad de sustituir una serie de sondas de humedad y temperatura por otro tipo de sondas que utilicen un método termodinámico más preciso y que sus resultados, a su vez, sean también más precisos. Todo ello intentando reducir el coste. Para la elaboración de estas sondas se utilizará el microcontrolador Arduino que junto con alguno de sus módulos se conseguirá realizar las mediciones y mostrar los datos necesarios para las necesidades posteriores que puedan tenerse en el ámbito en que se use la sonda.

CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico Tecnologias emergentes como o Ultrassom de Alta Intensidade (High-Intensity Ultrasound - HIUS) têm sido aplicadas em alimentos para além de se atingir efeitos como a inativação microbiana, mas também, em níveis subletais, para causar modificações no processo fermentativo de micro-organismos, como as Bactérias Ácido Láticas (BAL) e otimizar suas atividades metabólicas. Para se ter este efeito é preciso se compreender os fatores que podem impactar na proporção tratamento HIUS em diferentes produtos, como as propriedades físicas, biológicas ou morfológicas de cada micro-organismo, bem como os parâmetros de processo e tipo de matriz alimentar. Por isso, este estudo buscou avaliar o efeito do HIUS no tempo de fermentação na viabilidade microbiana dos seguintes Leites Fermentados (LF): iogurte (só com a cultura protossimbiótica de Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus e Streptococcus thermophilus), um leite fermentado contendo somente Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5, e um terceiro produto em co-cultura do iogurte mais Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5. Três diferentes Densidades Energéticas (DE) foram utilizadas para sonicar cada produto no banho (0,08, 0,26 e 0,08 J.mL-1 no banho e outras três DE de 1600, 640 e 200 J.mL-1 na sonda, em ambos equipamentos com as amostras submersas em um banho de temperatura de 10 e 25°C. Todas as amostras tratadas com o HIUS no banho não apresentaram efeitos significativos entre si e comparadas ao controle. Mas utilizando-se a sonda, o LF só com a cultura do iogurte teve seu tempo de fermentação reduzido com a densidade energética de 640 J.mL-1 enquanto o leite fermentado contendo só Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5 com a sonda teve também seu tempo final de fermentação reduzido usando-se a densidade energética de 200 J.mL-1. Já o LF contendo a cultura do iogurte e a cultura probiótica teve seu tempo de fermentação final aumentado nas amostras tratadas com o ultrassom. As temperaturas de aplicação de HIUS não apresentaram diferença entre si, portanto, a temperatura de 25°C seria a mais indicada para o tratamento com DE de 640 J.mL-1 no LF só com a cultura tradicional do iogurte e com DE de 200 J.mL-1 no LF com a cultura tradicional do iogurte e a cultura probiótica, por poupar mais recursos energéticos para se ter uma rede de frio nesta etapa. Assim, a microbiologia preditiva foi utilizada para avaliar o efeito do HIUS no metabolismo das BAL nos leites fermentados, desta vez, utilizando só a sonda e a temperatura de sonicação de 25°C. A amostras que desempenharam maior rapidez na fermentação apresentaram um aumento da taxa de crescimento microbiano, nestes casos pode-se relacionar uma fase LAG (período de adaptação do micro-organismo em horas) também aumentada. Contudo, o leite fermentado contendo a cultura do iogurte e a cultura probiótica demonstraram concentrações microbianas no início da fermentação menores do que as amostras controle, indicando que o HIUS inativou algumas células, que não conseguiram compensar e se sobressaírem no metabolismo. Portanto, se torna mais interessante aplicar o ultrassom separadamente nos leites fermentados só com culturas tradicionais do iogurte ou só com Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5 utilizando as DE de 640 e 200 J.mL-1 respectivamente a 25°C na sonda. Emerging technologies such as High-Intensity Ultrasound (HIUS) have been applied to foods, in addition to achieving effects such as microbial inactivation, but also, at sublethal levels, to cause changes in the fermentation process of microorganisms, such as Lactic Acid Bacteria. (BAL) and optimize your metabolic activities. To have this effect, it is necessary to understand the factors that can impact the proportion of HIUS treatment in different products, such as the physical, biological or morphological properties of each microorganism, as well as the process parameters and type of food matrix. Therefore, this study sought to evaluate the effect of HIUS on fermentation time on the microbial viability of the following Fermented Milks (LF): yogurt (only with the protosymbiotic culture of Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus), a fermented milk containing only Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5, and a third yoghurt co-culture product plus Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5. Three different Energy Densities (DE) were used to sonicate each product in the bath (0.08, 0.26 and 0.08 J.mL-1 in the bath and another three DE of 1600, 640 and 200 J.mL-1 in the probe, in both equipment with the samples submerged in a temperature bath of 10 and 25°C. All samples treated with HIUS in the bath did not show significant effects between them and compared to the control. But using the probe, the LF with the yogurt culture alone had its fermentation time reduced with the energy density of 640 J.mL-1 while fermented milk containing only Lactobacillus acidophilus La 5 with the probe also had its final fermentation time reduced using the energy density of 200 J.mL-1. The LF containing the yogurt culture and the probiotic culture had its final fermentation time increased in the samples treated with ultrasound. The HIUS application temperatures did not differ, therefore, the temperature of 25°C would be the most indicated for the treatment with DE of 640 J.mL-1 in the LF only with the traditional culture of yogurt and with DE of 200 J.mL-1 in the LF with the culture traditional yogurt and probiotic culture, for saving more energy resources to have a cold chain at this stage. Thus, predictive microbiology was used to evaluate the effect of HIUS on LAB metabolism in fermented milks, this time using only the probe and sonication temperature of 25°C. The samples that performed faster in the fermentation showed an increase in the microbial growth rate, in these cases it can be related to an increased LAG (adaptation period of the microorganism in hours) phase. However, the fermented milk containing the yogurt culture and the probiotic culture showed lower microbial concentrations at the beginning of fermentation than the control samples, indicating that HIUS inactivated some cells, which were unable to compensate and excel in metabolism. Therefore, it becomes more interesting to apply the ultrasound separately to fermented milks only with traditional yogurt cultures or only with Lactobacillus Acidophilus La 5 using the DE of 640 and 200 J.mL-1 respectively at 25°C in the probe.

Introduction: Vertical supranuclear gaze palsy is a key feature of Niemann-Pick type C (NP-C) and is commonly quantified using video-oculography (VOG). VOG requires sitting still for long times and performing specific tasks, thus it can be challenging or impossible for patients severely affected by movement disorders or cognitive impairment. To overcome this limitation, we measure saccades of NP-C patients using a fast eye tracking test based on continuous psychophysics and compare it to VOG. Methods: Saccades of six NP-C patients and six age-matched controls were assessed using VOG and Standardized Oculomotor and Neuro-ophthalmic Disorders Assessment (SONDA). In SONDA, participants continuously track a semi-randomly moving dot on a computer screen while their gaze is being tracked. For both assessments, saccades were quantified using four conventional measures: amplitude, gain, latency, and peak velocity. Furthermore, SONDA's continuous measures were quantified with several novel spatio-temporal properties. Results: In the NP-C patients, both methods revealed reduced amplitude, gain, peak velocity, and increased latency of vertical saccades compared to horizontal saccades and compared to healthy controls. Effect sizes obtained with SONDA were overall larger than those for VOG. SONDA's spatio-temporal properties showed similar trends. Conclusion: SONDA reveals a deterioration of vertical saccades in NP-C patients that is consistent with VOG. SONDA's measures based on continuous psychophysics are consistent with traditional saccadic parameters and can potentially provide complementary information. SONDA shows larger effect sizes than VOG, suggesting that it provides robust and clinically relevant outcomes with a more intuitive task and shorter testing time.

26. Comparative Chemical and Mineral Characterization of Paleocene Coal of Sonda Coalfield, Sindh, Pakistan

The Sonda coalfield is located in the 125 km east of Karachi covering an area of about 1400 sq. km. Sonda coal was deposited in the Bara Formation, this Formation contains two main coal-bearing horizons; one is in the upper part and the second is lower part, which is recognized as Jheruck coal zone. In the Bara Formation, coal at Sonda was deposited in three main horizons, named as Daduri, Sonda and Jherruck coal zone. The coal was deposited in in Paleocene age. Sonda coal is enriched with Zn, Ni and Pb. Present mineralogical study shows that Sonda coal contains calcite, dolomite, kaolinite and quartz. The comparison with US and Chinese coal values indicates that among all the analyzed elements, only Ni has high geometric values in Sonda than Chinese coal. GM (Geometric Mean) concentration for Al is higher in Sonda coal than US and Chinese coal values. Clarke values comparison shows that according to Zoller formula all elements in Sonda coal are depleting.

Durante el transcurso de los últimos años se ha reportado un gran número de aplicaciones de la técnica FISH, la cual es utilizada en la detección de microorganismos en su propio hábitat sin que requieran de su previo aislamiento y purificación. La importancia de FISH radica en la capacidad que tiene la sonda de ADN de detectar una región específica del áci- do nucleico de la célula microbiana y ser visualizada por microscopía de epifluorescencia. En esta revisión se describe los diversos usos que tiene FISH, que van desde la identifica- ción de la microbiota en ambientes acuáticos y su empleo en la biorremediación hasta la detección de patógenos en el diagnóstico clínico. Asimismo, se presentan algunas limita- ciones, y los posibles correctivos que se deben tener encuenta cuando se aplica esta técnica.

O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar o crescimento microbiano em sondas para vitrectomia de uso único, reprocessadas na prática assistencial. Foram investigadas nove sondas reusadas e reprocessadas por diferentes métodos. As sondas foram segmentadas, individualmente, em porções de 3,5 cm, totalizando em 979 unidades amostrais (extensões, conectores e ponteiras) inoculadas em meio de cultura e incubadas a 37ºC, por 14 dias. Os resultados mostraram crescimento microbiano em 57 (5,8%) unidades amostrais, das quais, 25 foram esterilizadas por Óxido de Etileno, 16 por Plasma de Peróxido de Hidrogênio e 16 por Vapor à Baixa Temperatura e Formaldeído. Foram identificadas 17 espécies microbianas, sendo as mais prevalentes o Micrococcus spp., Staphylococcus coagulase negativa, Pseudomonas spp. e Bacillus subtilis. O reuso de sondas de uso único para vitrectomia não se mostrou seguro, portanto tal prática não é recomendada.

29. Karakterizacija bioluminiscenčne sonde za grancim B

Grancim B je serinska proteaza, ki se nahaja predvsem v citotoksičnih granulah imunskih celic, citotoksičnih limfocitih T in naravnih celicah ubijalkah. Pri imunskem odgovoru je ključni mediator sprožitve celične smrti v tarčnih celicah, vendar pa njegovo izražanje ni omejeno samo na efektorske celice imunskega sistema. V patoloških stanjih je njegovo izražanje povečano v številnih tkivih. Zaradi tega je primeren biološki označevalec, ki je uporaben za namene diagnostike in razumevanje poteka različnih bolezni. Bioluminiscenca je posebna zvrst kemiluminiscence, ki jo najdemo v različnih vrstah organizmov. Gre za encimsko reakcijo, kjer encim luciferaza pretvori substrat luciferin v produkt oksiluciferin. Pri tem se sprosti energija v obliki svetlobe. Zaradi zelo dobrega razmerja med šumom okolja in signalom reakcije je primerna za analitično spremljanje širokega spektra bioloških procesov in vitro ter in vivo. Modifikacije substrata bioluminiscenčne reakcije omogočajo razvoj sond za namene vizualizacije procesov tako in vitro, v celicah, kot tudi v laboratorijskih živalih. V magistrskem delu smo pripravili sev P. pastoris, ki izraža rekombinanten grancim B. Potrdili smo uspešno izražanje in izločanje aktivnega grancima B v gojišče. Rekombinanten grancim B smo primerjali s komercialnim rekombinantnim in nativnim grancimom B. Razvili smo in vitro bioluminiscenčno metodo merjenja aktivnosti za grancim B. S pripravljenim grancimom B smo dokazali selektivnost bioluminiscenčne sonde Z-AAD-NHLuc za grancim B v primerjavi z grancimi A, D, H, G in K. Grancim B is a serine protease found primarily in cytotoxic granules of immune cells, cytotoxic T lymphocytes, and natural killer cells. It is a key mediator of triggering cell death in target cells, as a part of immune response. However, its expression is not limited to effector cells of the immune system. In many pathological conditions, its expression is increased in numerous tissues. For this reason, it is a suitable biological marker, useful for the purposes of diagnosing and understanding the course of various diseases. Bioluminescence is a special type of chemiluminescence observed in different types of organisms. It is an enzymatic reaction where the enzyme luciferase converts the substrate luciferin into an oxyluciferin. This releases energy in the form of light. Due to the very good ratio between ambient noise and reaction signal, it is suitable for analytical monitoring of a wide range of biological processes in vitro and in vivo. Substrate modifications of the bioluminescence reaction allow the development of probes for the purposes of visualization of processes both in tissue and in laboratory animals. In the master's thesis, we prepared a strain of P. pastoris, which expresses recombinant granzyme B. We confirmed the successful expression and secretion of active granzyme B into the medium. Recombinant granzyme B was compared with native and commercial recombinant granzyme B. We developed an in vitro bioluminescence imaging method for granzyme B detection. The selectivity of the bioluminescent probe Z-AAD-NHLuc for granzyme B was determined with the prepared recombinant granzyme B and compared to granzymes A, D, H, G and K

31. Survey of students' knowledge and teachers' attitudes to the topic of terrestrial plants photosynthesis in basic school education

This thesis focuses on the pupil's knowledge about photosynthesis, biomass, the teacher's attitude to teaching these issues including the use of digital educational resources. The focal point of this thesis is a questionnaire survey among primary school teachers and students, which examines the level of knowledge and personal attitudes of both groups of respondents to teaching this topic and its digitization. 154 pupils and 10 teachers from 5 different primary schools were involved in the survey. An analysis of a number of textbooks published by Fraus was also included. The results confirmed that misconceptions, which have already been described in the past, remain among the students. These include, for example: "The plant breathes when it is not performing photosynthesis. The main reason why plants perform photosynthesis is oxygen production. The plant breathes carbon dioxide and exhales oxygen." The literature and the results of this study suggest that using modern aids in science classes and in self-study could be a solution to dealing with misconceptions.

El presente artículo, versa sobre la posibilidad de sustituir una serie de sondas de humedad y temperatura por otro tipo de sondas que utilicen un método termodinámico más preciso y que sus resultados, a su vez, sean también más precisos. Todo ello intentando reducir el coste. Para la elaboración de estas sondas se utilizará el microcontrolador Arduino que junto con alguno de sus módulos se conseguirá realizar las mediciones y mostrar los datos necesarios para las necesidades posteriores que puedan tenerse en el ámbito en que se use la sonda.

U svrhu zaštite od elektromagnetskog zračenja upotrebljavani su tekstilni materijali. Kako bi tekstil imao zaštitna svojstva prvo mora biti podvrgnut posebnim tretmanima, tj. dodaju mu se ne-tekstilni materijali ili se na površinu nanose metalni slojevi. Proučavane su konfiguracije koncentričnih prstenastih elektroda te je izrađena sonda dimenzija 2R1 = 30 mm, 2R2 = 57 mm. Zajedno sa sondom dimenzija 2R1 = 9,96 cm, 2R2 = 10,17 cm mjereni su površinski otpori tkanine s vlaknima inoksa i tkanine s bakrenim nanosom koja je podvrgnuta različitim procesima. U skladu s dimenzijama korištene sonde izračunate su odgovarajuće površinske otpornosti tu se promatrane njihove promjene. Textile materials were used for electromagnetic field shielding. The configurations of concentric ring electrodes were studied and a probe with dimensions 2R1 = 30 mm, 2R2 = 57 mm was made. A utilização da sonda nasoenteral (SNE) ocorre na Unidade de Terapia Intensiva, para que ocorra a administração da nutrição enteral e também de medicamentos para os pacientes, sua indicação se relaciona para as condições clinicas do paciente, ocorrente mais naqueles com condições graves ou agudas, nas quais não é possível receber a dieta, agua e/ou medicamento através da via oral. O atual estudo teve como objetivo mostrar a abordagem da equipe multidisciplinar em relação aos cuidados ao paciente com uso de sonda nasoenteral internado em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa na literatura, realizada nos meses de outubro e novembro de 2022 através de pesquisas eletrônicas na base de dados Google Acadêmico. As estratégias de buscas permitiram identificar 191 artigos, aplicando os critérios de exclusão, 179 foram excluídos, no total foram selecionados 12 artigos por atenderem todos os requisitos. Os resultados mostram que, a equipe multidisciplinar vão ter um suas abordagens voltadas para a manutenção do paciente com sonda nasoentérica em posição supina aumenta a incidência de refluxo gastroesofágico e o risco de aspiração, outras ações pertinentes ao cuidado desse paciente se estabelecem com o cumprimento das rotinas para evitar a obstrução da sonda, as lesões na pele relacionadas ao posicionamento inadequado da sonda e ao material usado para a fixação. Conclui-se que, as principais abordagens dessa equipe são relacionadas a assistência adequada, posicionamento da sonda e prevenção da disfagia, minimizando os danos que possam agravar ainda mais a saúde do paciente. The use of the nasogastric tube (NET) occurs in the Intensive Care Unit, so that the administration of enteral nutrition and also medication for patients occurs, its indication is related to the clinical conditions of the patient, occurring more in those with severe or acute conditions , in which it is not possible to receive diet, water and/or medicine through the oral route. The current study aimed to show the approach of the multidisciplinary team in relation to the care of patients with the use of a nasogastric tube admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. This is an integrative literature review, carried out in October and November 2022 through electronic searches in the Google Scholar database. The search strategies allowed identifying 191 articles, applying the exclusion criteria, 179 were excluded, in total 12 articles were selected because they met all the requirements. The results show that the multidisciplinary team will have an approach aimed at maintaining the patient with a nasoenteric tube in the supine position, increasing the incidence of gastroesophageal reflux and the risk of aspiration. routines to avoid tube obstruction, skin lesions related to improper tube positioning and the material used for fixation. El uso de la sonda nasogástrica (NET) se da en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos, por lo que se da la administración de nutrición enteral y también de medicación a los pacientes, su indicación está relacionada con las condiciones clínicas del paciente, ocurriendo más en aquellos con patología grave o aguda. condiciones en las que no es posible recibir dieta, agua y/o medicamentos por vía oral. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo mostrar el abordaje del equipo multidisciplinario en relación al cuidado de los pacientes con uso de sonda nasogástrica internados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Esta es una revisión integrativa de la literatura, realizada en octubre y noviembre de 2022 a través de búsquedas electrónicas en la base de datos de Google Scholar. Las estrategias de búsqueda permitieron identificar 191 artículos, aplicando los criterios de exclusión se excluyeron 179, en total se seleccionaron 12 artículos por cumplir con todos los requisitos. Los resultados muestran que el equipo multidisciplinario tendrá un abordaje encaminado a mantener al paciente con sonda nasoentérica en decúbito supino, aumentando la incidencia de reflujo gastroesofágico y el riesgo de aspiración rutinas para evitar la obstrucción de la sonda, lesiones cutáneas relacionadas con la mala colocación de la sonda y el material utilizado para la fijación. Se concluye que los principales abordajes de este equipo están relacionados con la asistencia adecuada, la colocación de la sonda y la prevención de la disfagia, minimizando los daños que puedan agravar aún más la salud del paciente.

A digoxigenin-labeled probe was produced from the Pasteur virus strain for the detection of the rabies virus N gene. The probe hybridization was performed from amplified N gene obtained by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and the results by RT-PCR and hybridization showed 100% agreement. The hybridization, when carried out in products amplified by RT-PCR, increases the sensitivity of this technique even more and confers specificity to the diagnosis. The technique described in this work will be useful in rabies diagnosis laboratories, once the cost is compatible with traditional rabies diagnostic techniques.Foi produzida uma sonda marcada com digoxigenina a partir da amostra Pasteur vírus para a detecção do gene N do vírus da raiva. A hibridação da sonda foi efetuada em amplificados do gene N obtidos através de transcrição reversa-reação em cadeia da polimerase e os resultados do RT-PCR e hibridação foram 100% concordantes. A hibridação, quando realizada em produtos amplificados por RT-PCR, aumenta ainda mais a sensibilidade desta técnica e confere especificidade ao diagnóstico. A técnica descrita neste artigo será útil em laboratórios de diagnóstico da raiva uma vez que tem custo compatível com as técnicas tradicionais para o diagnóstico da raiva.

El projecte s’ha centrat en el disseny i implementació d’un data logger amb l’objectiu de mesurar i enregistrar les dades per poder dur a terme una supervisió de les aigües dels col·lectors. Amb aquest propòsit s’han utilitzat diferents sensors i s’ha creat un sistema integrat capaç de mesurar característiques de l’aigua, com la temperatura o el nivell, i emmagatzemar-les en una targeta SD. Per a la realització del prototip s’ha utilitzat la plataforma de desenvolupament ESP32, sondes de temperatura i d’ultrasò i una targeta SD, que permetrà poder supervisar les dades obtingudes segons el període de mostreig, i fer-ne un posterior estudi. The project has focused on the design and implementation of a data logger with the aim of measuring and recording the data in order to monitor the water of the collectors. Different sensors have been used for this purpose and it has been created an integrated system capable of measuring water characteristics, such as temperature or level, and storing them on an SD card. In order to make the prototype, there have been using the ESP32 development platform, temperature and ultrasound probes and an SD card which allows the data to be monitored depending on the sampling period, and make a subsequent study.

Este trabalho argumenta em favor da valoração dos traços de concordância dentro do DP em termos da operação Agree (Chomsky, 1999) sem a necessidade de estipular nenhum outro mecanismo para tanto. Mostro que Agree dá conta da valoração de traços tanto no nível da sentença quanto no nível do DP, contra a sugestão de Chomsky (1999) de que concordância no DP envolveria algum outro mecanismo de checagem.This paper argues in favor of a concord features valuing within the DP in terms of the Agree operation (Chomsky, 1999), with no recourse to any other mechanism. I show that Agree accounts for feature valuing both in the sentence level as well as in the DP, contrary to Chomsky's (1999) suggestion that concord in DP should involve some other checking mechanism.

Este estudo descritivo teve como objetivos verificar se o volume residual gástrico (VRG) é avaliado antes de administrar a dieta e as condutas da equipe de enfermagem diante desse fator. A maioria (76,56%) dos membros da equipe de enfermagem não verificou o VRG antes de infundir a dieta por sonda nasogástrica (SNG), embora 90,63% tenha informado que realiza o procedimento. Do total, 20,31% afirmaram abrir a SNG a partir de 100ml de VRG, a maioria referiu desprezar o aspirado e 57,81% citaram administrar 100% do volume prescrito independente do VRG aspirado pela SNG. O estudo revelou a necessidade de supervisão e orientação para a equipe de enfermagem relacionada aos cuidados pertinentes à infusão da dieta por SNG.

El objetivo principal del trabajo será implementar el banco de simulación de la técnica y analizar los diferentes aspectos de la metodología. En el apartado 2 se detallarán los pormenores de la metodología. En el apartado 3 se explicará cómo se ha realizado la implementación y se realizará la validación de las simulaciones. En el apartado 4, se realizará un análisis del propio método analizando aspectos como la incertidumbre de los polos calculados en función de los errores de medición y la importancia de la elección de los nodos de medición. En el apartado 5, en lugar de la sonda de alta impedancia utilizada en el método de estudio, se estudiará la posibilidad de utilizar una sonda sin contacto. Para finalizar, en el apartado 6 se extraerán unas conclusiones y se expondrán los caminos que se pueden abrir para el futuro.

Considerando que o sistema foi normalizado, utilizamos o problema de três corpos (P3C) e investigamos os efeitos da perturbação devido aos planetas dos satélites naturais. Para isso utilizamos o pacote do integrador Rebound. As simulações foram escritas de forma a verificar a possibilidade de ejeção, a colisão com os corpos, principais ou a sobrevivência das sondas espaciais no tempo total de integração do problema. Além disso, foram simuladas órbitas em torno dos satélites naturais sobre os mais diversos regimes. As simulações localizaram zonas instáveis e estáveis. Considerando sondas em órbitas iniciais circulares, as dinâmicas em torno dos satelites naturais permitiram localizar intervalos em que os tempos de vida foram altos dependendo do semieixo maior inicial da órbita da sonda, fazendo com que essas sondas orbitassem esses satelites naturais por períodos de meses ou anos. Os estudos em função da inclinação e da excentricidade inicial da sonda em torno desses satélites permitiram identificar que, de modo geral, a escolha da excentricidade inicial da órbita da sonda é importante para determinar a duração dos tempos de vida das órbitas. Pois, uma vez que o efeito Kozai tende a tornar as órbitas excêntricas, as órbitas iniciadas com menor excentricidade apresentaram tempos de vida altos. Foi observado também que a depender da altitude da órbita inicial da sonda, existe uma dominância ou um equilíbrio entre o argumento do pericentro e a longitude do nodo inicial que determinam condições com maiores tempos de vida. Nesse estudo, foi observado a existência de ilhas de estabilidade que foram consideradas regiões importantes, pois apresentam a possibilidade de missões com maiores durações em condições de altas excentricidades e/ou inclinações. This work aims to investigate the stability of the orbits around several natural satellites in the Solar System. Considering that the system was normalized, it was used the three-body problem (P3C) and investigated the effects of the disturbance due to the planets of the natural satellites. For this purpose, the Rebound integrator package was used. The simulations were written in order to verify the possibility of ejection, the collision with the main bodies or the survival of space probes in the total time of integration of the problem. In addition, orbits around natural satellite were simulated in several conditions as well. The simulations located unstable and stable zones. Considering probes in initial circular orbits, the dynamics around the natural satellites allowed to locate intervals in which the lifetimes were high depending on the initial semi-major axis of the orbit of the probe, causing these probes to orbit these natural satellites for periods of months or years. The studies based on the $ I_ {0} $ and $ e_ {0} $ of the probe around these satellites allowed us to identify that, in general, the choice of the initial eccentricity of the orbit of the probe is important to determine the duration of the orbit life. Since the Kozai effect tends to make orbits eccentric, the orbits started with less eccentricity had high lifetimes. It was also observed that depending on the altitude of the probe's initial orbit, there is a dominance or a balance between the initial conditions of the argument of periapsis as well as the longitude of the ascending node that determine conditions with longer lifetime. In this study, it was observed the existence of islands of stability - considered important regions - as they present the possibility of missions with longer durations in conditions of high eccentricities and/or inclinations. V průběhu let 2009–2010 proběhl povrchový průzkum s využitím detekční techniky v poloze Na Zámku, k. ú. Výprachtice, okr. Ústí nad Orlicí, Pardubický kraj. Jednalo se o nedatované opevnění s uvažovaným vrcholně středovým stářím. Povrchový průzkum a sonda 1 × 1 m potvrdily existenci intaktních archeologických situací a datovaly situaci do pokročilého 13. až průběhu 14. století.

La terapia con surfactante forma parte de la práctica habitual en el manejo del distrés respiratorio en el recién nacido. Su administración ha sido tradicionalmente mediante intubación endotraqueal. Con el fin de minimizar el tiempo de intubación y ventilación mecánica se diseñó la estrategia INSURE (intubación, administración de surfactante y extubación), disminuyendo la posible exposición a la ventilación mecánica. En los últimos años se han investigado nuevas técnicas de administración de surfactante menos invasivas con el objetivo de minimizar los efectos de la intubación traqueal y evitar la aplicación de la ventilación mecánica. El método SONSURE consiste en la administración de surfactante con un catéter fino colocado intratraquealmente mientras el paciente continúa siendo soportado mediante ventilación no invasiva. La hipótesis del presente trabajo es que la administración de surfactante mediante SONSURE es igualmente efectiva y al mismo tiempo segura, que la técnica INSURE, clásicamente empleada, pudiéndose disminuir los efectos deletéreos de la intubación del paciente evitando de esta forma cualquier forma de ventilación invasiva con presión positiva y los efectos que de ella se derivan. Se diseñó un estudio de cohortes prospectivo en el que se evaluó la eficacia y seguridad de la administración de surfactante mediante la técnica mínimamente invasiva y se comparó con una cohorte retrospectiva de pacientes a los que se administró el surfactante mediante la técnica INSURE. Se analizó el porcentaje de pacientes que requirieron ventilación mecánica en las 72h posteriores a la administración de surfactante. Los objetivos secundarios fueron la seguridad de la técnica, la necesidad de ventilación mecánica en cualquier momento de su ingreso, la duración de la misma, así como de ventilación no invasiva, la duración de la estancia en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales, las dosis de surfactante requeridas y variables clínicas como la incidencia de ductus arterioso persistente (DAP), enterocolitis necrotizante (ECN), DBP, hemorragia intraventricular > grado II, la presencia de fugas aéreas y la mortalidad durante la estancia hospitalaria. Se compararon 189 pacientes en los que se administró surfactante mediante técnica SONSURE con una cohorte histórica de 31 pacientes en los que se empleó la técnica INSURE para el tratamiento con surfactante. No se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas en la intubación en las primeras 72 horas tras el tratamiento, sin embargo, se encontró una reducción significativa del riesgo de intubación tardía en los pacientes del grupo SONSURE. La administración de surfactante con la técnica SONSURE demostró ser segura, sólo en un paciente del grupo a estudio (0,5%) fue necesario interrumpir la técnica y administrar el surfactante mediante intubación, mientras que no fue posible extubar tras la técnica INSURE a un 6% de los pacientes de dicho grupo.

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of mutual interactions between vegetation cover and the atmosphere in the period of global climate change. The aim of this work is to determine the level of knowledge of teachers and students of science teaching together with their views on the teaching of this topic in practice at primary school and in out-of-school education. The literary introduction outlines the issue of mutual interactions between vegetation and atmosphere, together with the anchoring of this topic in the framework educational program. The practical part of this work comments on the results of a questionnaire for students of science teaching and the results of a questionnaire designed for science teachers. Based on the results of this survey among students and teachers, a teaching unit was designed for use in out-of-school education at the primary school level.

U ovom radu je opisana sonda za ispitivanje aluminijskih šipki pomoću impuslno pobuđenih vrtložnih struja. U prvom poglavlju opisan je fizikalni koncept vrtložnih struja. Drugo poglavlje opisuje princip metode ispitivanja pomoću vrtložnih struja te sonde za nerazorno ispitivanje. Treće poglavlje opisuje izvedbu sonde i mjernog postava za nerazorno ispitivanje aluminijskih šipki. U zadnjem poglavlju su dani eksperimentalni rezultati i kojih je vidljivo postojanje razlike između ispitivanih uzoraka šipki. In this thesis, a probe for testing aluminum rods using pulsed eddy current is described. The first chapter describes the physical concept of eddy current. The second chapter describes the principle of eddy current test method and non-destructive testing probe. The third chapter describes the design of the probe and the measuring set for non-destructive testing of aluminum bars. In the last chapter, experimental results are given, from which the existence of differences between the examined rod samples is visible.
