The COVID-19 pandemic in India is a part of a worldwide pandemic, on 24 March 2020, the Government of India has announced a nationwide lockdown. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the day-to-day activities particularly has created the largest disruption of education systems in India. This study has examined the impact of COVID-19 lockdown on the reading habit of Law Students in Tamil Nadu. A descriptive survey method was adopted and an online web-based questionnaire was used to collect data for the study. The total response collected for the study is 464 and 65.52% of respondents are female. It was found that there was a significant development in the reading habit of Law Students in Tamilnadu during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. It was revealed that most Law Students in Tamandu used a mobile phone (96.8%) to read during the lockdown. It was shown the challenges in reading during the lockdown, which include Heavy use of social media, Laziness, Work/home burden, lack of motivation, and non-availability of resources. It was concluded that COVID-19 lockdown has a positive influence on the reading habits of most Law Students in Tamailnadu and the findings of this study will provide understanding into the reading habits of these law students and necessary recommendations will be made. The current study aims to analyze the scholarly publications of researchers in marine pollution for 30 years (from 1989 to 2018). This study intends to identify the list of core journal publications, growth rate, the productivity of authors and institutions, proportion of Indian contribution, and various similar aspects at national and international levels in the field of marine pollution. The retrieved data were analyzed using the Microsoft-Excel package as per the objectives of the study, and the data has been presented as tables and graphs. The study was designed to assess and know the growth rate of the research literature output, author productivity, quantitative and qualitative indices, collaborative trends, citation patterns, key journal's list, and geographical distribution of publications at national and international levels in Marine pollution. The study shows an inconsistency in the Annual Growth Rate (AGR) of Marine pollution publications ranging from -35.63 to 23.69 between 1989 and 2018. The study also shows that the maximum Degree of Collaboration (DC) was identified in the years 2014 and 2018 (0.94) and the minimum DC identified in the year 1992 (0.60). The average of DC arrived as C=0.85, i.e., 85% of collaborative authors contributed. Collaboration Index (CI) of Marine pollution literature for the study period made clear that the number of authors per publication had increased from 3.32 (1989) to 5.40 (2018). The study results indicate that the overall growth rate calculated by various scientometric methods in marine pollution has been significantly growing in recent years at the international level. The paper attempts to identify the dilemmas faced by the transgender community in India with respect to their social life and information needs. Through a study of literature, the possibilities of introducing community libraries or Library-cum- Resource Centres (LRC) dedicated towards the betterment of transgender community in India have been explored. A study was conducted to analyze the usage of 12 public libraries in Long Beach city, California, USA. The paper analyzed the awareness of public library services during the covid-19 Pandemic in main and its neighborhood libraries. The methodology adopted for the study was the survey method in which questionnaires and interviews were used as Data collection Techniques. A total of 36 respondents participated in the study. It was concluded that all the patrons are aware of the public libraries' alternative services; they utilize them effectively. A scientometric study to analyse the research output in the area of leather has been selected as the problem to be investigated. The research output is a good indicator which reflects the trend and structure in any discipline. The analysis of leather research over a period of time indicates the trends in the cognitive structure of the chosen field. The overall Degree of Collaboration for the study period was 19.64. The Degree of Collaboration ranged from 0.71 and 0.91 during the study period (1994 to 2018). The Degree of Collaboration was on the increasing trend throughout the study period. From this we infer that multi authored contribution percentage was more than single authored contribution percentage. The analysis reveals that the Collaborative Index for leather research publications has increased from 2.62 to 4.08. The overall Collaborative Index was found to be 3.27. Collaborative Coefficient has ranged from 0.34 to 0.55 during the study period. The overall Collaborative Coefficient was found to be 0.45. Rao JR, was the prolific author both in the global and in Indian leather research with 186 publications. Out of the topmost 35 prolific authors in global leather research 14 authors which is 40% are from Central Leather Research Institute, in India. The top most Prolific Institute in leather research, globally and in India, was Central Leather Research Institute with 913 publications. Globally Sichuan university stands second with 388, which is followed by Shaanxi University of Science and Technology with 324 publications. This paper focuses on the Impact of Libraries on career development of MBA students in Trichy colleges. The paper examines the results from a questionnaire-based survey conducted in Trichy colleges. This study examined Information Search Strategies employed by Library and Information Science (LIS) professionals of selected institutions in India for research. Questionnaire was used as the main instrument for the gathering of data. Data collected were analyzed using simple frequency tables and mean. Search specialists can be found in libraries of all kinds, but are located especially in college and university libraries and in the information centre and other special libraries associated with business and industrial organizations, law firms and medical establishments. Some search specialists are freelance entrepreneurs, in business for themselves and actively marketing their services to special user populations. clients of online information retrieval search specialists include undergraduate and graduate students and faculty in academic libraries, and scientists, engineers, businessmen, doctors, lawyers, and many others using special libraries and information centres to help satisfy their information needs. The study revealed that most of the respondents belonging to various educational qualifications prefer 'their library catalogue', except the respondents belonging to 'UG in LIS' qualification. Most of the respondents (44.4%) belonging to 'UG in LIS' qualification prefer 'open access databases' to seek needed information, followed by 'their library catalogue' (22.2%). The findings of such study would put light on the important data and insight into the current state of practices of LIS professionals and their understanding about information searching process on internet. The study aimed to assess the Digital Literacy research output during the period of 1992- 2011. The web of science database has used to retrieve records related to digital literacy research.The bibliographic citation retrieved data are analyzed using the Histcite Software application. Based on the retrieved data, digital literacy research publication is analyzed and interpreted. This study assessed and the use of information skills among the students of Alagappa University Central library users. Simple random sampling technique is used in the study. The scope of the study covered various aspects like awareness in library sources and services, both printed document and electronic documents.; Knowledge about the item usually covered in the catalogue and including Internet; familiarity use ICT and Online Database; Information literacy a determining factor in the development of the information society. This study aims to present a scientometric analysis of the Marine Pollution Bulletin journal (MPB) during the period of 2008 to 2017. A total of 5416 publications were published during the period of 2008 to 2017 in the MPB journal. The paper covers the scientometric analysis of year-wise distribution of publications Out of total 5416; the maximum numbers of publications are in the year 2017 contributing 905 (16.71%) papers. The relative growth rate (RGR) has decreased from 2009 (0.63) to 2017 (0.18) and the doubling time has increased from 2009 (1.10) to 2017 (3.85) in the span of 10 years. The degree of collaboration in the MPB journal is 0.94, which clearly indicates its dominance of multiple authors' contributions. This study aims to analyze student's awareness and use of ICT the rural area at Dindigul. A survey of the questionnaire was distributed randomly to the total of 150 students a rural area in Dindigul district. The survey research design was a study adopted. The data for quantitative research were analyzed for both descriptive and inferential statistic using SPSS (version 23) software. A comparison of undergraduate students between awareness and use of ICT sources and services. Independent samples t-test and ANOVA test difference were performed across two groups, which are gender and age. The results of the tests conducted indicate that ICT integration is a great effectiveness for the students. The study found that majority of the respondents had ICT information needs on their academic engagements like class assignment and preparing exam updating subject Knowledge. This study investigated the use and user perception of electronic Information resources of Alagappa College of Arts and science. It also examined students' awareness of e-resources and satisfaction level; problems are faced by users while using e-resources. The sample consists of 80 respondents drawn respectively from a population of 120 from the college. Descriptive survey method was used to draw data through the Alagappa College of Arts and Science Library questionnaire on Electronic Information Resources in the study. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentages. It was found that majority of respondents have low knowledge of e-resources, they may be use university library it will be get more number of eresources. A study was conducted to investigate the accessibility and use of open access resources used in the library and Information Science PG students in Alagappa University DDE. In this paper, an attempt has been made to study the awareness of open access resources. The methodology adopted for the study surveyed in which questionnaires, interviews, and observations were used in a collection of the data. A total of 39 respondents participated in the study. It was concluded that most of the open access resources were not aware of most of the resources available hence they could not access and use them effectively. This study shows that majority of the student's impact of the open access resources in that 16 (41%) of the frequency are male while 23(59%) are female in the use of open access resources in distance education students in Alagappa University. The results of the study show that the respondents have average level of e-resources usage skills, particularly on awareness about many available e-resources. The variables of the respondents namely gender, age groups, designations, specialisations and the type of institutions were significantly influencing their e-resource usage skills and its dimensions. Frequency of access is daily among the respondents belonging to below 35 years age group. Most of the respondents use open access journals, whilst few have individual subscription to e-Journals. The study shows that a majority of the respondents belonged to male (59.08%) category whereas the remaining belonged to female (40.92%) category, Majority of the respondents in this survey were married 354 (56.37%) whereas the remaining respondents were 274 (43.63%) unmarried who belonged to the category of students or younger generation., The study reveals that majority of the respondents i.e. 144 (22.93%) were from the age group of up to 25 years and very few respondents i.e. 56 (8.92%) belonged to the age group of 66 and above, The survey finding reveals that majority of the respondents were bachelor's degree holders 162 (25.80%) and very few respondents were qualified in Technical and other fields 84 (13.38%).The study reveals that the majority of the respondents were from the student community 156 (24.84%) which was followed by the retired person 109 (17.36%), unemployed youth 107 (17.04%), employee in private sector 104 (16.56%) and employee in government sector 80 (12.74%). The findings reveal that majority of the respondents 255 (40.61%) were getting a monthly income of Rs. 5001-10,000 whereas few respondents 71(11.31%) were getting a monthly income of below Rs.3, 000.The findings reveal that majority of the respondents 479 (76.27%) are the member of public library. Out of 76.27 percentages, male respondents contributed 47.29% and female respondents contributed 28.98% to this study. Smaller percentage of respondents 149 (23.73%) who belonged to the non member category also contributed to this study. It is understood that out of 628 respondents, the majority of them 63.2% are visiting the library more than twice in a week and few respondents are visiting the library once in a month. It is understood that majority of the respondents spent one to two hours of time in the library and few respondents spent more than three hours of time in the library, Majority of the respondents i.e. 229 (36.46%) prefer to visit the public library in the evening, Therefore, evening is most preferred and suitable time for the visit to the library. Library and information centres are playing a crucial role in the growth and development of the nation directly/indirectly by providing better services to the members of the society. Electronic resources have become the vital part of human life in the 21st century. A large portion of social scientists of Alagappa University and its affiliated colleges are aware about the e-resources, but they do not know all its techniques and applications. Further, large Social Scientists of the Alagappa University and its affiliated colleges still have no knowledge about the e-resources and related applications. The study shows that the age wise respondents' frequency of visit to the institution library. It could be noted that out of the total 1230 respondents, 40.31 percent of them make daily library visit. In this study, 27.40 percent of them make library visit thrice a week and majority of the respondents in the age group 46-50 years make library visit thrice a week. The study also shows that the status wise respondents' frequency of library visits. It could be noted that majority of the faculty respondents (60.25%) make library visit daily. The article attempts to examine the use of information and communication technology (ICT) by faculty members at self-financing engineering colleges in India as well as how this application is affecting the Indian higher education system. It presents the results of a study which aimed to examine how faculty members use their time when searching for information, the colleges' availability of access to electronic resources (e-resources) and how faculty members utilize e-resources. The study suggests that engineering colleges add more computer terminals for faculty members, increase bandwidth for improved access speed, and appoint information technology (IT) staff to provide guidance to users.

The article presents information about an analysis done by India's Annamalai University of the 2005-2009 issues of the "Indian Journal of Chemistry." In this article the authors investigate information maintenance systems for small business and industries in the Salem district of India with an emphasis on the industry involved in the processing of tapioca, also known as casava. Tapioca is a root crop said to have originated in Central America or Mexico but now produced in Asia, particularly in India.
