TDP-43 (also known as TARDBP) is a nuclear splicing factor functioning in pre-mRNA processing. Its C-terminal 35-kDa fragment (TDP-35) forms inclusions or aggregates in cytoplasm, and sequesters full-length TDP-43 into the inclusions through binding with RNA. We extended the research to investigate whether TDP-35 inclusions sequester other RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) and how RNA-binding specificity has a role in this sequestration process. We have characterized T-cell restricted intracellular antigen-1 (TIA1) and other RBPs that can be sequestered into the TDP-35 inclusions through specific RNA binding, and found that this sequestration leads to the dysfunction of TIA1 in maturation of target pre-mRNA. Moreover, we directly visualized the dynamic sequestration of TDP-43 by the cytoplasmic TDP-35 inclusions by live-cell imaging. Our results demonstrate that TDP-35 sequesters some specific RBPs and this sequestration is assisted by binding with RNA in a sequence-specific manner. This study provides further evidence in supporting the hijacking hypothesis for RNA-assisted sequestration and will be beneficial to further understanding of the TDP-43 proteinopathies.

Dynamics model and Electro-hydraulic proportional control model were established using Simulink and AMESim, Co-simulation was did based on the model. Control Performance of erecting system is Improved based on fuzzy PID control algorithm. Simulation results show that, Overshoot at level exchanging is small, the response is fast and the stability is improved based on fuzzy PID control algorithm.

Series and parallel application schemes between high-speed on-off valve and hydraulic cylinder are proposed to control the speed of hydraulic cylinder based on the analysis of high-speed on-off valve flow characteristics. The duty cycle of pulse control signal was changed according to the displacement of hydraulic cylinder to control the speed of hydraulic cylinder and weak the impact. The speed and acceleration curve of hydraulic cylinder were achieved by the means of experiment with FESTO. Experimental results show that, two application schemes can both control the speed of hydraulic cylinder effectively. Series application scheme can be only applied to small flow hydraulic system; parallel application scheme has wider application.

The synchronization control problem of a large equipment erecting system driven by two oil cylinders side-by-side is analyzed. A closed loop control scheme of hydraulically driven erecting system based on electro-hydraulic proportion control valve is given. Considering the existence of time-varying parameters of hydraulic system, intelligent PID control algorithm is implemented by adding neurotic adaptive element control approach to improve the adaptive control capacity of the controller. Simulation results show that the intelligent PID control algorithm is more effective than conventional method for the erecting system synchronization control.

An application of high speed on-off valve which is connected between rod cavity and no-stem cavity of hydraulic cylinder was designed to study the speed control problem when the motion state of hydraulic cylinder is transformed. Research result shows that HSV can reduce the maximum starting acceleration and the final velocity effectively, and can realize the speed control when the motion state of hydraulic cylinder is transformed.

An adaptive predictive controller is proposed to solve the time-varying characteristics of the industrial process control system. The arithmetic of implicit expression generalized predictive control（IGPC） is put forward to compute the optimal control signal increment. In order to decrease the computing work and increase the computing speed, the system input/output data are used to identify the controller parameters directly and the plant model parameters are unnecessary. Simulation results show that the controller can track the change of setting value excellently even though without any prior information of controlled system, and have excellent adaptive abilities for the changes of system external disturbing signals and model parameters.
