Increased lactate levels and metastasis in tumours are strongly associated with dismal outcomes. But prognostic value of lactate metabolism and transport-related lncRNAs in gastric adenocarcinoma (GA) patients remains unaddressed. Gene expression data of GA were provided by The Cancer Genome Atlas. Lactate metabolism and transport-related gene data were accessed from GSEA. LncRNAs related to lactate metabolism and transport were identified by correlation analysis. A prognostic model was built by regression analysis. Validity of prognostic model was confirmed through survival analysis and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Immunity of each risk group was evaluated by immune correlation analysis.LncRNA-mRNA network was built by correlation analysis using Cytoscape software. A 12-gene prognostic model based on lactate metabolism and transport-related lncRNAs was built in GA. Median riskscore was utilized to classify GA samples into high- and low-risk groups. Survival analysis and ROC curves demonstrated validity of prognostic model. Most immune checkpoint molecules and TIDE scores were lower in the low-risk group. LINC01303 and LINC01545 may be the key prognostic factors in patients with GA. This study successfully built a prognostic model of lactate metabolism and transport-related lncRNAs in GA. With the escalating demand in the high-frequency and high-speed communication field, it is imperative to develop materials with low dielectric constants (Low-ɛ) that also exhibit high-temperature resistance. In this study, the thermosetting bifunctional benzoxazine-phthalonitrile with pendant allyl groups (Boz-ph) was modified by incorporating 2,2'-bis[4-(4-maleimidephen-oxy)phenyl]propane (BMI-80). Specifically, BMI-80 was reacted with the pendant allyl groups of Boz-ph through in-situ polymerization, resulting in the synthesis of a series of high-performance Boz-ph/BMI-80 resins. The effects of various Boz-ph/BMI-80 resin proportions on curing behavior, thermal stability, mechanical, and dielectric properties were examined. With the introduction of BMI-80, the microstructure of the cured Boz-ph/BMI-80 resins transitioned from brittle to ductile fracture. The flexural strength of Boz-ph/BMI-80–100% reached a maximum of 102.8 MPa, compared to 70.1 MPa for pure Boz-ph. Additionally, the Boz-ph/BMI-80 resins displayed a high glass transition temperature (Tg = 325 ~ 333 ℃), low water absorption (less than 2.5%), and enhanced dielectric properties. Improvements in dielectric properties were observed with increases in BMI-80 content; the dielectric constant and dielectric loss of Boz-ph/BMI-80–100% were 3.31 and 0.008 (at 10 MHz), respectively. This study suggests that Boz-ph/BMI-80 resins have significant potential for use as matrices in high-temperature, high-frequency copper-clad laminates. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Background: Although the phenomenon of high turnover rate in the elderly care industry has existed for a long time, there are few studies that have constructed frameworks to comprehensively analyze the strength of the effects of various factors on the turnover intention of elderly care workers.. This study analyzed the impact of different types of perceived human resource management practices on elderly care workers' turnover intentions and whether this relationship is moderated by person-job fit and ownership of elderly care institutions. Methods: This is a cross-sectional and regional survey study. The study included questionnaire survey data from a total of 305 elderly care workers from 42 elderly care institutions in 21 provinces in China during June to September 2021. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, multiple regression, and heterogeneity analyses were performed. Results: Perceived work environment (β =-0.5164, p< 0.01), perceived occupational protection (β =-0.3390, p< 0.01), perceived welfare benefits (β = -0.2620, p< 0.01) and perceived competency training (β = -0.1421, p< 0.1) were all significantly and negatively related to turnover intentions, the quality of perceived work environment has the greatest impact on elderly care workers' turnover intentions. Under the moderating effects of person-job fit and ownership of elderly care institutions, there existed heterogeneity between perceived human resource management and turnover intentions among elderly care workers. High level of person-job fit and elderly care institutions' public feature can effectively weaken the negative impact of each type of perceived human resource management on turnover intention among elderly care workers. Conclusions: The managers of elderly care institutions should optimize the management mechanism, typically pay attention to elderly care workers' working environment, formulate and improve the professional standards and job requirements for elderly care workers, promote the public welfare value of nursing care services, and strengthen the sense of honor and responsibility of elderly care workers to reduce the turnover rate. This study examined the impact of vital signs and blood glucose levels on the long-term prognosis of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) patients treated with minimally invasive surgery (MIS). The patients diagnosed with ICH and treated with MIS within 24 hours of admission at the ∗∗ Hospital between January 2020 and October 2021 were included. The relationship between a range of indicators, including vital signs, blood glucose levels, and patient mortality at discharge and 3 or 12 months postdischarge were analyzed. A total of 195 consecutive patients were included, of which 16 patients passed away during hospitalization, 29 and 34 within 3 and 12 months postdischarge, respectively. The multivariate analysis revealed that hospital death positively correlated with age ≥66.50 years, fasting blood glucose ≥8.25 mmol/L on the third day after MIS, systolic blood pressure ≥166.00 mmHg on the third day, and heart rate ≥89.50 beats/min at discharge (area under the curve [AUC] = 0.927). Death at 3 months positively correlated with male sex, blood glucose before dinner ≥8.15 mmol/L on the second day after MIS, body temperature ≥36.95°C at discharge, and heart rate ≥89.50 beats/minute at discharge (AUC = 0.810). Death at 12 months positively correlated with age ≥61.50 years, body temperature ≥36.95°C at discharge, and heart rate ≥92.50 beats/min on the third day after MIS (AUC = 0.824). With the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, the scale of entrepreneurial groups returning home in China has gradually grown and has become the main force to promote the development of rural industries. In this wave of returning home to start businesses, facing six different modes of rural industrial integration, the development of rural industrial integration in China is facing the imbalance between supply and demand of talents. In terms of supply, labor skills, educational background and entrepreneurial employment motivation of returning entrepreneurs are obviously different. In terms of demand, there are also differences in the quantity, scale and skill structure of industrial talents in different rural industrial integration modes. Analyzing the gap between supply and demand of industrial talents and their differences, and introducing and cultivating all kinds of urgently needed talents in a targeted manner can put forward relevant policy suggestions for the integrated development of rural industries in China. The ski industry in China has been entering into a phase of rapid development, since the beginning of Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, with the typical distribution characteristics of ski tourism in main snow-ice resources area. The North Slope region of the Tianshan Mountain contains the favorable endowment of ski resources in China and has become one of the best tourist destinations. However, ski tourism are facing a significant challenge in ecological and environmental protection. Few China Ski tourism studies considered the discussion of ecological footprint. Therefore, this study aims to explore an ecological accounting scheme for ski tourism, based on evaluating the local ecological carrying capacity and ecological pressure, and to examine the sustainability of the regional ski industry layout, took a representative Tianshan ski tourist city as the research case. It is indicated that the ecological footprint of ski resorts are considerably larger than that of other tourism activities, which highlights the urgent need to manage ecological issues of ski resorts. The regional tourist attractions cannot match ski tourism endowment. Nalati ski resorts presents a state of ecological deficit, as the largest tourism area in North Slope region of Tianshan Mountain. Ski tourism accommodations contribute to the largest proportion of the ecological footprint. This paper is devoted to discussing the sliding bifurcation phenomena of a planar piecewise linear system with two zones separated by a straight line. We consider those systems for which in each zone there is precisely one real focus. By introducing Poincaré map and defining proper displacement function, some results on the existence of crossing periodic orbits, sliding periodic orbits, sliding-crossing periodic orbits and sliding homoclinic connections are obtained. The digital economy is gradually becoming a powerful engine for high-quality economic development in China and plays an important role in the construction of digital villages and the integrated development of rural industries. Starting from the mechanism of reducing transaction costs in the digital economy, it is a feasible perspective to analyze the role of the digital economy in promoting the integration and development of rural industries in China. This paper evaluates the impact of the digital economy on the development of rural industries in China, analyzes the current situation and problems in the construction of digital villages in China, and uses transaction cost theory to analyze the role of digital technology applications in reducing transaction costs in agricultural production, sales, and financial services. It finds out various rural industrial integration modes formed in the process of digital rural construction, and proposes policy suggestions to promote the integrated development of digital economy and rural industries in China. Background: The SNP rs671 of Human aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) is G-A transition at 1510th nucleotides, which is an important clinical indicator of alcoholic liver disease, digestive tract cancer and some drug efficiency. The commonly used genotyping assay of this polymorphism is relatively time-consuming and costly. Finding: This study develops a rapid and accurate one-step CRISPR/Cas12b assay to distinguish the G1510A polymorphism of human ALDH2 free of DNA amplification. The method we established requires only one step of adding 1 μl genomic DNA sample to premixed system, and waiting for the acquisition of fluorescent signal, taking approximate 30 min. Conclusions: This method provides a potential tool for more accurate and reliable nucleic acid detection with a single base difference and supports the relevant disease diagnosis and personalized medicine. Bioderived polycarbonate (ISB-PC) was synthesized via transesterification and polycondensation of isosorbide (ISB) and diphenyl carbonate (DPC) using lithium acetoacetone as a catalyst. The resulting ISB-PC exhibited high glass transition temperatures similar to bisphenol A polycarbonate (BPA-PC) and was thermally stable up to 350 ℃. The incorporation of isosorbitol into the polymer chain imparted an improved mechanical property of ISB-PC, such as a higher bending and tensile modulus and higher elongation at break. ISB-PC can be readily cast into transparent films with a tensile strength of 73.3 MPa and a tensile modulus of 534 MPa. ISB-PC displayed high UV transmittance and possessed blue fluorescence under UV irradiation. At the same time, ISB-PC also has strong anti-yellowing ability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The overall photocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (PCRR), which uses solar energy to convert CO2 and H2O into chemical feedstocks or fuels without sacrificial reagents, plays a momentous role in CO2 utilization and solar energy conversion. However, significant challenges remain in achieving efficient conversion. Researchers have explored various strategies to realize the overall PCRR efficiently. In this Review, we first explain the criteria for evaluating the overall PCRR and then summarize the following strategies developed over the past decade to promote it: self‐driving material development, Z‐scheme heterojunction construction, cocatalyst loading, heteroatom doping, surface vacancy creation, and carrier‐material matching. Finally, we discuss essential future research directions in the field. Through this comprehensive Review, we aim to provide strategic guidance for the development of efficient overall PCRR systems. This report summarizes the proceedings for day 2 sessions 1 and 3 of the 2‐day public workshop entitled "Regulatory Utility of Mechanistic Modeling to Support Alternative Bioequivalence Approaches," a jointly sponsored workshop by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Research on Complex Generics (CRCG). The aims of this workshop were: (1) to discuss how mechanistic modeling, including physiologically‐based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) modeling and simulation, can support product development, and regulatory submissions; (2) to share the current state of mechanistic modeling for bioequivalence (BE) assessment through case studies; (3) to establish a consensus on best practices for using PBPK modeling for BE assessment to help drive further investment by the generic drug industry into mechanistic modeling and simulation; and (4) to introduce the concept of a Model Master File to improve model‐sharing. The theme of day 2 covered PBPK absorption model for oral products as an alternative BE approach and a tool for supporting risk assessment and biowaiver (session 1), oral PBPK for evaluating the impact of food on BE (session 2), successful cases, and challenges for oral PBPK (session 3). This report summarizes the topics of the presentations of day 2 sessions 1 and session 3 from FDA, academia, and pharmaceutical industry, including the current status of oral PBPK, case examples as well as the challenges and opportunities in this area. On September 30 and October 1, 2021, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Center for Research on Complex Generics cosponsored a live virtual workshop titled "Regulatory Utility of Mechanistic Modeling to Support Alternative Bioequivalence Approaches." The overall aims of the workshop included (i) engaging the generic drug industry and other involved stakeholders regarding how mechanistic modeling and simulation can support their product development and regulatory submissions; (ii) sharing the current state of mechanistic modeling for bioequivalence (BE) assessment through case studies; (iii) establishing a consensus on best practices for using mechanistic modeling approaches, such as physiologically based pharmacokinetic modeling and computational fluid dynamics modeling, for BE assessment; and (iv) introducing the concept of a Model Master File to improve model sharing between model developers, industry, and the FDA. More than 1500 people registered for the workshop. Based on a postworkshop survey, the majority of participants reported that their fundamental scientific understanding of mechanistic models was enhanced, there was greater consensus on model validation and verification, and regulatory expectations for mechanistic modeling submitted in abbreviated new drug applications were clarified by the workshop. Metallic wire mesh has gained attention as a potential material for lightweight aircraft structures, e.g., a metallic frame of morphing wings, due to its customizable mechanical properties associated with cell structures. However, the relationship between the pattern design of cell structures and the mechanical characteristics of metallic wire mesh remains unclear. The present work aims to investigate the mechanical behavior of asymmetric crosslinked metallic wire mesh with a hybrid Poisson's ratio pattern, which has the potentials of arbitrary Poisson's ratios. Two typical designs of cell arrangement for asymmetric crosslinked metallic wire mesh were proposed, namely negative Poisson's ratio cells (NPRC) and positive Poisson's ratio cells (PPRC). The in-plane Poisson's ratio of asymmetric crosslinked metallic wire mesh was calculated based on the Euler beam theory. The effects of hybrid Poisson's pattern and interwoven joint on mechanical properties, including macroscopic Poisson's ratio and elastic bending recovery, were analyzed using numerical and experimental methods. The results demonstrate that the analytical Poisson's ratio obtained from the proposed theoretical model agrees well with the simulation result. The hybrid structure which consisted of NPRC and PPRC could effectively control transverse shrinkage and become one of the most efficient potentials for promising structures with the arbitrary Poisson's ratio phenomenon. This study examined the hydrothermal aging mechanism of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin (CF/EP) composites in acidic, alkaline, salt solution, and deionized water (marked as Ac-CF/EP, Al-CF/EP, Sa-CF/EP, and De-CF/EP). The water absorption of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites followed a two-step process for all four aging mediums, including an initial Fickian diffusion and a subsequent long-term deterioration response. The carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites were degraded more easily in a weak acidic solution due to the degradation of secondary amines and ether bond in an EP molecular chain, which was even degraded into methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, and bisphenol-A monomers. Longterm hydrothermal aging led to significant degradation of the CF/EP composites in all four mediums, the shear strength of the aged composites from small to large was Ac-CF/EP < Al-CF/EP < De-CF/EP < Sa-CF/EP < raw carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin, which reduced the bending strength by 38.1%, 31.0%, 20.9%, and 11.5%, respectively, compared to the raw carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites. The degradation of the EP matrix and irreversible interface damage caused by hydrothermal aging were considered the main reasons for the degraded mechanical properties of the carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composites. Diseases, natural disasters, and other emergencies force the economy and management system to confront nonlinear and random changes. In recent years, complexity science has attracted much attention. Complex economics believes that economic models are dynamic, stochastic, and unpredictable, and that equilibrium and stability are temporary. It is changing traditional economic theory. Based on complexity theory, bibliometric theory, nonlinear theory, and game theory, combined with knowledge graph methods, the article analyzed 200 papers from the Web of Science, covering the period 1998–2022. This research presents the research structure and theoretical evolution of complex economic games through visualization techniques. The clusters of keywords and the logical relationships between them are discussed. Then, the analysis of hot keywords and co-occurrence keywords is carried out. Finally, future research directions for complex economic games are given: (1) the market complexity that comes with intelligent expectations, (2) complex characteristics of the data trading market, and (3) complex risk control for emergencies. The innovation lies in the use of data analysis software combined with manual knowledge to overcome the shortcomings of inflexible software analysis, as well as weak manual storage and computation. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a global health issue that lacks effective treatments. Dysfunction and/or death of pancreatic β-cells (PBCs) are considered a major cause of T2DM. Therefore, elucidating the mechanisms underlying the death of PBCs might be helpful to develop novel strategies to treat T2DM. Ferroptosis is a newly identified form of cell death that has distinct features. However, knowledge regarding the role of ferroptosis in the death of PBCs remains limited. In the current study, we used high glucose (10 mM) (HG) levels to induce ferroptosis in PBC. We also observed that hispidin, a polyphenol compound that can be isolated from Phellinus linteus, could attenuate ferroptosis induced by HG in PBCs. Mechanistic investigations showed that hispidin led to the upregulation of miR-15b-5p, which directly inhibits the expression of glutaminase (GLS2) which plays an essential role in the glutamine metabolism. In addition, we found that overexpression of GLS2 could abrogate the protective effect of hispidin against ferroptosis caused by HG in PBCs. Background. There is controversy regarding whether patients with single hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) should be offered radiofrequency ablation (RFA) as a first-line treatment option. Thus, this study compared overall survival after surgical resection (SR) and RFA for single HCC. Methods. The Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database was used for this retrospective study. The study included 30- to 84-year-old patients diagnosed with HCC from 2000 to 2018. Selection bias was reduced via propensity score matching (PSM). The study compared the overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS) of patients with single HCC who were treated with SR and RFA. Results. Before and after PSM, the median OS and median CSS were significantly longer in the SR group than in the RFA group (p < 0.05). In the subgroup analysis, the median OS and median CSS for male and female patients with male and female patients with tumor sizes <3, 3–5, and>5 cm, age at diagnosis between 60 and 84 years, and grades I–IV tumors were longer than in the SR group than in the RFA group (p < 0.05). Similar results were reported for patients who received chemotherapy (p < 0.05). Univariate and multivariate analyses revealed that compared with RFA, SR was an independent favorable factor for OS and CSS (p < 0.05) before and after PSM. Conclusion. Patients with SR who had a single HCC showed higher OS and CSS compared with patients who received RFA. Hence, SR should be used as a first-line treatment in cases of single HCC. Seeking new methods to modulate the structure of metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) for diverse applications, particularly for water splitting, is intensively urgent but challenging. Herein, a simple hydrothermal method employing HCl as the modulator is developed to synthesize a series of NiFe-MOF-n/NF. The amount of HCl modulator not only changes the elemental composition and crystal structure but also modulates the electronic structure of NiFe-MOF-n/NF, thus improving intrinsic activity. Owing to the synergetic interactions between Ni and Fe atoms, free-standing feature, the optimized NiFe-MOF-2/NF yields excellent OER activity with overpotentials of 209 and 260 mV at 10 and 100 mA cm−2, respectively, a small Tafel slope of 36.4 mV dec−1 and excellent OER stability for 24 h at 100 mA cm−2 in 1 M KOH. This demonstrates that NiFe-MOF-2/NF are in situ converted into metal oxide/oxyhydroxide after OER, thereby serving as the real active sites. Ammonia (NH3) is a promising carbon-free fuel. However, modifying its high ignition temperature and low flame speed remains challenging. In this study, NH3 combustion was numerically investigated using hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) of different concentrations as the oxidizer to overcome these limitations. Adiabatic, free-propagating laminar burning velocities for NH3/H2O2/H2O mixtures were examined using a detailed chemical model. The maximum flame temperature between equivalence ratios is not considerably different at high concentrations of H2O2 (>80%), because the heat release is dominated by H2O2 decomposition. The equivalence ratio does not significantly affect the flame speed when the H2O2 concentration is less than 50%. The impact of H2O2 on the burning velocity at low concentrations is mainly attributed to the chemical effect. The chemical effect gradually decreases and the thermal effect increases because of the high heat release at high H2O2 concentrations. Moreover, the different concentrations of H2O2 consequently divide the flame into two sections. The first section is dominated by H2O2 reactions and the second by NH3 reactions. However, when the H2O2 concentration is 90 or 100%, flames do not appear in both sections. Finally, a quasilinear relationship between the flame speed and (NH2+OH)max mole fraction is identified. Probiotics have been increasingly investigated for their role in alleviating symptoms of ulcerative colitis (UC), but the specific mechanism involved remains unclear. We investigated the alleviating effect of Bifidobacterium animalis A6 (BAA6) in UC through a mouse dextran sulfate sodium (DSS) model. When treated with a high dose of BAA6 (1 × 1010 cfu/ml), it was found that colitis symptoms were significantly alleviated, and mucosal damages experienced obvious relief. Moreover, a high dose of BAA6 effectively upregulated free fatty acid receptors 2 and 3 (FFAR2 and FFAR3) expression and butyric acid metabolism specifically. Furthermore, the supplement of BAA6 significantly suppressed pro‐inflammatory cytokines levels (interleukin‐13) and the expression of pore‐forming protein claudin‐2. The upstream regulatory genes of claudin‐2, such as STAT6, GATA4, Cdx2, were also significantly inhibited by BAA6. Collectively, this study concludes that BAA6 attenuated DSS‐induced colitis by increasing the levels of intestinal butyric acid, activating the butyric acid‐FFAR pathway, suppressing excessive proinflammatory response, and protecting the function of the colon epithelial barrier. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) perform well in tasks of segmenting buildings from remote sensing images. However, the intraclass heterogeneity of buildings is high in images, while the interclass homogeneity between buildings and other nonbuilding objects is low. This leads to an inaccurate distinction between buildings and complex backgrounds. To overcome this challenge, we propose an Attentional Feature Learning Network (AFL-Net) that can accurately extract buildings from remote sensing images. We designed an attentional multiscale feature fusion (AMFF) module and a shape feature refinement (SFR) module to improve building recognition accuracy in complex environments. The AMFF module adaptively adjusts the weights of multi-scale features through the attention mechanism, which enhances the global perception and ensures the integrity of building segmentation results. The SFR module captures the shape features of the buildings, which enhances the network capability for identifying the area between building edges and surrounding nonbuilding objects and reduces the over-segmentation of buildings. An ablation study was conducted with both qualitative and quantitative analyses, verifying the effectiveness of the AMFF and SFR modules. The proposed AFL-Net achieved 91.37, 82.10, 73.27, and 79.81% intersection over union (IoU) values on the WHU Building Aerial Imagery, Inria Aerial Image Labeling, Massachusetts Buildings, and Building Instances of Typical Cities in China datasets, respectively. Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the association between serum complement 1q (C1q) and the associated factors of acute ischemic stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). Methods: The baseline clinical variables of the participants were collected, and the levels of blood lipids, blood sugar, inflammatory cytokines, and C1q in the three groups were then compared. The variables which affected the associated factors of acute ischemic stroke in T2DM cases were determined. Results: The levels of C1q in the DAIS group were increased significantly compared with those in the T2DM group. Receiver operating characteristic curve analyses showed that the AUC for C1q and the combined diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke were 0.830 (95%CI 0.747–0.914), with a sensitivity of 0.854 and specificity of 0.780. The results of Pearson's correlation analyses demonstrated that C1q was associated positively with low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C), fasting blood glucose (PBG), 2-h postprandial blood glucose (2h PG), and high-sensitive C reaction protein (hs-CRP) (all p <.05). Stratified analysis showed that there was a positive relationship between C1q and the associated factors of acute ischemic stroke for partial LDL-C, and hs-CRP strata. Logistic model analysis suggested that C1q was an independent risk factor for acute ischemic stroke in patients with T2DM. After adjusting for potential confounders, a one-standard deviation (SD) increase in C1q level was strongly related to an approximately 1.5-fold increased risk of acute ischemic stroke in cases with a hs-CRP ≥1.78 mg/L. The latest biological findings observe that the motionless "lock‐and‐key" theory is not generally applicable and that changes in atomic sites and binding pose can provide important information for understanding drug binding. However, the computational expenditure limits the growth of protein trajectory‐related studies, thus hindering the possibility of supervised learning. A spatial‐temporal pre‐training method based on the modified equivariant graph matching networks, dubbed ProtMD which has two specially designed self‐supervised learning tasks: atom‐level prompt‐based denoising generative task and conformation‐level snapshot ordering task to seize the flexibility information inside molecular dynamics (MD) trajectories with very fine temporal resolutions is presented. The ProtMD can grant the encoder network the capacity to capture the time‐dependent geometric mobility of conformations along MD trajectories. Two downstream tasks are chosen to verify the effectiveness of ProtMD through linear detection and task‐specific fine‐tuning. A huge improvement from current state‐of‐the‐art methods, with a decrease of 4.3% in root mean square error for the binding affinity problem and an average increase of 13.8% in the area under receiver operating characteristic curve and the area under the precision‐recall curve for the ligand efficacy problem is observed. Detecting buildings, segmenting building footprints, and extracting building edges from high-resolution remote sensing images are vital in applications such as urban planning, change detection, smart cities, and map-making and updating. The tasks of building detection, footprint segmentation, and edge extraction affect each other to a certain extent. However, most previous works have focused on one of these three tasks and have lacked a multitask learning framework that can simultaneously solve the tasks of building detection, footprint segmentation and edge extraction, making it difficult to obtain smooth and complete buildings. This study proposes a novel multiscale and multitask deep learning framework to consider the dependencies among building detection, footprint segmentation, and edge extraction while completing all three tasks. In addition, a multitask feature fusion module is introduced into the deep learning framework to increase the robustness of feature extraction. A multitask loss function is also introduced to balance the training losses among the various tasks to obtain the best training results. Finally, the proposed method is applied to open-source building datasets and large-scale high-resolution remote sensing images and compared with other advanced building extraction methods. To verify the effectiveness of multitask learning, the performance of multitask learning and single-task training is compared in ablation experiments. Low sintering temperature Bi[V 1−x (Fe 1/3 W 2/3) x ]O 4 (BVFWx) (0.02 ≤ x ≤ 0.08) ceramics have been prepared by solid-state reaction. Compositions with 0.02 ≤ x ≤ 0.08 were scheelite-structure, but distortion of [BO 4 ] tetrahedra decreased with increase in x. Although the crystal class remained monoclinic, the phase transition temperature (T C) decreased from 255 ℃ (BV) to 51 ℃ (BVFW0.08), suggesting that higher concentrations of (Fe 1/3 W 2/3) would result in the stabilization of tetragonal scheelite at room temperature. The decrease in the [BO 4 ] distortion additionally resulted in a large reduction in the magnitude of the temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (TCF) with near-zero values obtained by sintering BVFW0.08:2BVFW0.06 at 780 °C to give TCF ≈ −5.9 ppm / °C, relative permittivity ε r ≈ 77.4, and microwave quality factor, Q × f ≈ 8100 GHz (@ ~ 4.3 GHz). Under climate change circumstances, increasing studies have reported the temporal instability of tree growth responses to climate, which poses a major challenge to linearly extrapolating past climate and future growth dynamics using tree‐ring data. Space‐for‐time substitution (SFTS) is a potential solution to this problem that is widely used in the dendrochronology field to project past or future temporal growth response trajectories from contemporary spatial patterns. However, the projected accuracy of the SFTS in the climate effects on tree growth remains uncertain. Here, we empirically test the SFTS method by comparing the effect of spatial and temporal climate variations on climate responses of white spruce (Picea glauca), which has a transcontinental range in North America. We first applied a response surface regression model to capture the variations in growth responses along the spatial climate gradients. The results showed that the relationships between growth and June temperature varied along spatial climate gradients in a predictable way. And their relationships varied mainly along with local temperate condition. Then, the projected correlation coefficients between growth and climate using SFTS were compared against the observed. We found that the growth response changes caused by spatial versus temporal climate variations showed opposite trends. Moreover, the projected correlation coefficients using the SFTS were significantly lower than the observed. This finding suggests that applying the SFTS to project the growth response of white spruce might lead to an overestimation of the degree of tree maladaptation in future climate scenarios. And the overestimation is likely to get weaker from Alaska and Yukon Territory in the west to Quebec in the east. Although this is only a case study of the SFTS method for projecting tree growth response, our findings suggest that direct application of the SFTS method may not be applicable to all regions and all tree species. Building pattern extraction is one of the crucial components in map generalization. Previous studies mainly focus on the homogeneity between individual buildings in the collinear patterns, while pay less attentions to the complex collinear patterns, in which buildings are locally heterogeneous. Therefore, we put forward a novel combined collinear pattern to extend the existing pattern typology. Then, we present an axis-matching pattern recognition approach which transforms pattern extraction into an axis-matching problem, taking the advantages of computational geometry and visual perception theories. First, we use the axes of the smallest bounding rectangle to represent buildings. Second, different candidate sets of matched axis pairs are built considering the project distance, length and orientation similarities. Third, the strategy for recognizing combined collinear patterns is designed according to similarity criteria. The proposed approach was tested using real topographic data. The experiment results show that the proposed approach is reasonable and efficient, and the correctness and completeness of extracted combined collinear patterns have been guaranteed. There remains several challenges that are encountered in the task of extracting buildings from aerial imagery using convolutional neural networks (CNNs). First, the tremendous complexity of existing building extraction networks impedes their practical application. In addition, it is arduous for networks to sufficiently utilize the various building features in different images. To address these challenges, we propose an efficient network called MSL-Net that focuses on both multiscale building features and multilevel image features. First, we use depthwise separable convolution (DSC) to significantly reduce the network complexity, and then we embed a group normalization (GN) layer in the inverted residual structure to alleviate network performance degradation. Furthermore, we extract multiscale building features through an atrous spatial pyramid pooling (ASPP) module and apply long skip connections to establish long-distance dependence to fuse features at different levels of the given image. Finally, we add a deformable convolution network layer before the pixel classification step to enhance the feature extraction capability of MSL-Net for buildings with irregular shapes. The experimental results obtained on three publicly available datasets demonstrate that our proposed method achieves state-of-the-art accuracy with a faster inference speed than that of competing approaches. Specifically, the proposed MSL-Net achieves 90.4%, 81.1% and 70.9% intersection over union (IoU) values on the WHU Building Aerial Imagery dataset, Inria Aerial Image Labeling dataset and Massachusetts Buildings dataset, respectively, with an inference speed of 101.4 frames per second (FPS) for an input image of size 3 × 512 × 512 on an NVIDIA RTX 3090 GPU. Background: Drug-induced hypersensitivity syndrome (DIHS) is a rare, potentially life-threatening systemic drug reaction. Antithyroid drugs (ATDs) causing DIHS have seldom been reported before. Case presentation: We present a case of propylthiouracil (PTU)-induced DIHS, which included fever, skin rash, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly, serious liver and kidney dysfunction, peripheral blood eosinophilia, and atypical lymphocytosis. Following supportive therapy, intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG), and systemic corticosteroid, the patient experienced a resolution of fever and rash combined with progressive normalization of hematological index and organ function. These clinical features, and the skin lesion biopsy confirmed DIHS diagnosis. Conclusions: To our knowledge, this is the second reported case of PTU-induced DIHS worldwide and the first human leukocyte antigen (HLA) typing of PTU-induced DIHS. Clinicians should cautiously distinguish hyperthyroidism etiology and identify the indication of ATDs. Timely recognition and formal DIHS treatment are required in patients with ATDs. The n-type Bi2Se0.3Te2.7 nanopowders with nanoflowers morphology have been synthesized successfully by the hydrothermal method through using different amounts of ethylene diamine tetraacetic disodium salt (EDTA) as surfactant. As compared the Bi2Se0.3Te2.7 nanopowders with nanoplates morphology and Y0.2Bi1.8Se0.3Te2.7 nanopowders with nanoflowers morphology were also synthesized. Then, all the nanopowders were hot-pressed to pellets and the thermoelectric properties of the pellets were investigated. The results showed that the power factors of the samples made by the nanoflowers are all larger than that of the Bi2Se0.3Te2.7 bulk made by nanoplates due to their lower electrical resistivities which are caused by the larger grains in the corresponding bulk. In addition, the thermal conductivity of the Bi2Se0.3Te2.7 bulk made by nanoflowers is lower than that of the Bi2Se0.3Te2.7 bulk made by nanoplates due to the tiny grains embedded in the large grains in the bulk. As a result, in the measured temperature, the ZT values of the Bi2Se0.3Te2.7 bulk made by nanoflowers are all higher than that of the zone melt ingots. In the lower temperature, the ZT values of the Y0.2Bi1.8Se0.3Te2.7 sample are all high than 1.1 and reached 1.21 at 413 K which is relatively high value for n-type thermoelectric materials. Large amounts of citrus peel are discarded as solid waste owing to the lack of recycling methods. In this study, mixed solvent extraction combined with multi-phase salting-out extraction was performed to explore the extraction process of essential oil and hesperidin. Optimal conditions were used for mixed solvent extraction (citrus peel 6%; ratio of ethanol to n-hexane 1:5; duration, stirring speed, and temperature were 150 min, 120 r/min, and 45°C, respectively) and multi-phase salting-out extraction (citrus peel residue 10%; ratio of salt to ethanol 19:24; mass fraction of n-hexane 25%; extraction duration 120 min). Under two-step extraction conditions, 63.74±2.40% essential oil and 27.13±1.36% hesperidin were recovered, with total extraction efficiencies of 5.19±0.09 and 1.91±0.25%, respectively. The amplification effect was not significant, and the organic solvents could be reused three times while maintaining 80% recovery in both steps to balance the commercial cost and extraction efficiency. Environmental heterogeneity of various kinds can promote species coexistence. We hypothesized that greater genetic diversity of a competitively dominant species in a plant community can promote coexistence of subordinate species. To test this hypothesis, we grew the duckweeds Lemna minor and Spirodela polyrhiza apart and together without or with 1, 2, and 4 genotypes of a much larger, co-occurring species, Hydrocotyle verticillata. The presence of H. verticillata strongly reduced the growth of both duckweed species, consistent with its dominance. The presence of S. polyrhiza significantly increased biomass of L. minor and this effect did not depend on the presence or absence of H. verticillata or its genotypic richness. Without H. verticillata , the presence of L. minor drastically reduced biomass (-94%) of S. polyrhiza. However, the inhibitory effect of L. minor on S. polyrhiza became much weaker in the presence of one and two genotypes of H. verticillata and completely disappeared in the presence of four genotypes of H. verticillata. These results suggest that both the presence of H. verticillata and its genotypic richness can alter interspecific interactions between the two duckweed species. We conclude that genetic diversity of a single, highly dominant species may promote coexistence of subordinate species when they differ strongly in the ability to compete with each other. This paper focuses on learning complex polyline generalization. First, the requirements for sampled images to ensure the effective learning of complex polyline generalization are analysed. To meet these requirements, new methods for segmenting complex polylines and sampling images are proposed. Second, using the proposed segmentation and sampling method, a use case for the learning of complex polyline generalization using the generative adversarial network model, Pix2Pix, is developed. Third, this use case is applied experimentally for the complex generalization of coastline data from a scale of 1:50,000 to 1:250,000. Additionally, contrast experiments are conducted to compare the proposed segmentation and sampling method with object-based and traditional fixed-size methods. Experimental results show that the images generated using the proposed method are superior to the other two methods in the learning and application of complex polyline generalization. Synthetic bioactive aromatic peptide amphiphiles have been recognized as key elements of emerging biomedical strategies due to their biocompatibility, design flexibility, and functionality. Inspired by natural proteins, we synthesized two supramolecular materials of phenyl-capped Ile-Lys-Val-Ala-Val (Ben-IKVAV) and perfluorophenyl-capped Ile-Lys-Val-Ala-Val (PFB-IKVAV). We employed UV-vis absorption, fluorescence, circular dichroism, and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy to examine the driving force in the self-assembly of the newly discovered materials. It was found that both compounds exhibited ordered π-π interactions and secondary structures, especially PFB-IKVAV. The cytotoxicity of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) and cell differentiation studies was also performed. In addition, the immunofluorescent staining for neuronal-specific markers of MAP2 was 4.6 times (neural induction medium in the presence of PFB-IKVAV) that of the neural induction medium (control) on day 7. From analyzing the expression of neuronal-specific markers in hMSCs, it can be concluded that PFB-IKVAV may be a potential supramolecular biomaterial for biomedical applications. The present paper presents techniques for polyline simplification based on an artificial neural network within the constraints of generalization knowledge. The proposed method measures polyline shape characteristics that influence polyline simplification using abstracted descriptors and then introduces these descriptors into the artificial neural network as input properties. In total, 18 descriptors categorized into three types are presented in detail. In a second approach, map simplification principles are abstracted as controllers, imposed after the output layer of the trained artificial neural network to make the polyline simplification comply with these principles. This study worked with three controllers – a basic controller and two knowledge-based controllers. These descriptors and controllers abstracted from generalization knowledge were tested in experiments to determine their efficacy in polyline simplification based on the artificial neural network. A C/Ho co-doped TiO2 catalyst was prepared by the precipitation–calcination method using Ti3C2Tx as the precursor and carbon source. X-ray diffractometry, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, N2 adsorption–desorption isotherms, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy, and photoelectrochemical measurements were used for characterization. The C doped anatase TiO2 prepared by calcining Ti3C2Tx maintained the two-dimensional lamellar structure of the Ti3C2Tx precursor, and the carbon dopant was present on the surface of TiO2 in the form of C–O and C＝O, whereas Ho3+ was mainly doped into the lattice of TiO2, forming Ho–O bonds with oxygen instead of Ti4+. The band gap of the C/Ho co-doped TiO2 photocatalyst was reduced as compared to that of pristine TiO2, which can improve the utilization efficiency of visible light. When the doping ratio of Ho was 5% (CHT-0.05), the photocatalyst had the highest photocurrent and degradation efficiency of tetracycline hydrochloride (86.4%). The reaction mechanism for the photocatalytic degradation of TCH by the C/Ho co-doped TiO2 photocatalyst was investigated and showed that superoxide radicals (˙O2−) and holes (h+) were the main species that influenced the results. To improve the sensitivity for electro-chemiluminescent (ECL) detection of chloramphenicol (CAP), a common broad-spectrum antibiotic, boron nitride quantum dots (BNQDs) were prepared with excellent photoelectric property and low toxicity. After its structure and electrochemical property were investigated in detail, it was noted that the ECL signal of Ru(Phen)32+ could be strengthened by the proposed BNQDs, which was further activated by ten’s times in the presence of CAP. Under the optimized conditions, there was an excellent linear relationship between Î"ECL and lg c CAP in a wide linear range from 1.0 × 10âˆ'10 to 1.0 × 10âˆ'6 mol lâˆ'1 CAP. The detection limit was super-low to be 3.3 × 10âˆ'11 mol lâˆ'1 (S/N = 3). When applied for CAP detection in real pharmaceutical and food samples, the recoveries were between 97.8% and 105.7% with R.S.D. less than 3.3%. A possible CAP-activated ECL mechanism of BNQDs-Ru(phen)32+ was also proposed. Family farms are the main force that promotes the direct application of new agricultural technology to production. So what are the factors that affect the adoption of new agricultural technology by family farms, and can the adoption of new technology increase the operating income of family farms? Using cross-sectional data from 847 family farms, this study examines the determinants and impacts of multiple new agricultural technologies adoption on family farms' income in China. To account for selection bias from both observable and unobservable factors, an endogenous switching regression model is employed to evaluate the effects of new agricultural technology on family farms' income. The empirical results show that the adoption of new agricultural technology is affected by the endowment of farmers and the characteristics of family farms. After controlling for the selection bias, the adoption of new agricultural technologies has a positive and significant impact on family farms' income. And the impact on the non-adopter family farms is much larger than adopter family farms. Heterogeneity analysis indicates that family farms with a larger area of arable land earn more from the adoption of new technologies than small farms. In all types of technology investigated, the new methods of pest control and the new chemical fertilizer technology have a relatively large impact on family farms' income, while the new mechanical technology has the least impact on family farms' income. The adoption of new technologies by family farms is more important for promoting the progress of agricultural science and technology. Therefore, it is necessary to take effective measures to overcome the obstacles to the adoption of new agricultural technologies and pay more attention to the use of new agricultural technologies to improve agricultural production efficiency. Summary: In this study, the co‐combustion of black liquor and oil sludge is investigated. The properties of the fuels are analyzed, and the co‐combustion characteristics are explored by thermogravimetric analysis coupled with Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (TG‐FTIR). The synergistic effect, activation energy as well as gas yield are also studied from TG‐FTIR results. The results show that the addition of oil sludge can promote the reaction in the early stage, as indicated by the combustion characteristic index and the flammability index. The TG‐FTIR also shows that the swelling behavior of black liquor appears to block the release of volatile matter. The weaker SO2 emission and XRF analysis for the black liquor indicate that most of the sulfur remained in the ash. A positive synergy effect existed in the early stage, and the activation energy decreased with the addition of oil sludge. Distinct stages could be observed in the single pellet combustion experiments. Adding oil sludge to the black liquor promoted surface bubbles and ash melting. Surface bubbles indicate more volatile breaks through the plastic state layer formed on the black liquor and increase the reaction. In this paper, a flexible self-supported electrode based on the porous composite of NiS2 and Ti3C2Tx grown on carbon cloth (NiS2/Ti3C2Tx-CC) was designed and synthesized. Due to the introduction of highly conductive and flexible Ti3C2Tx, the NiS2/Ti3C2Tx-CC electrode achieves a 1.4-fold increase (1214 C g-1 at 2 A g-1) in the specific capacity, a 1.3-fold increase in the rate capability (63% of capacity retention with the current density increases from 2 to 20 A g-1), and a 2.0-fold increase in the cyclic stability (∼83% of capacity retention at the current density of 20 A g-1 after 2000 charge–discharge cycles) compared with the NiS2-CC electrode. Meanwhile, there is no obvious capacity attenuation at the bending angle of 180°, indicating the prominent flexibility of the NiS2/Ti3C2Tx-CC electrode. Accordingly, an all-solid asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) is fabricated, which exhibits a high energy density of 57.55 Wh kg-1 at the power density of 800 W kg-1. Furthermore, ∼97% of initial capacity is maintained at the current density of 5 A g-1 after 1000 charge–discharge cycles, indicating the good cycling stability. These satisfactory electrochemical behaviors can be also ascribed to the introduction of Ti3C2Tx, which can facilitate the rapid electron transport at the interface of the composite and maintain the outstanding mechanical integrality of the electrode during charge–discharge processes. Objectives: MR black-blood thrombus imaging (BTI) has been developed for the detection of cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT). Yet, there is a lack of real-world data to verifying its clinical performance. This study aims to evaluate the performance of BTI in diagnosing and staging CVT in a 5-year period. Methods: Patients suspected of CVT were enrolled between 2014 and 2019. Patients with or without BTI scans were classified into group A and group B, respectively. The prevalence of correct diagnosis of CVT and patients with evaluable clot age were compared. The diagnostic performance of BTI including sensitivity, specificity, and specific staging information was further analyzed. Results: Two hundred and twenty-one of the 308 patients suspected of CVT were eligible in the current study (114 in group A and 97 in group B), with 125 diagnosed by multidisciplinary teams to have CVTs (56 in group A, 69 in group B). The rate of correct diagnosis of CVT was higher in group A than that in group B (94.7% vs 60.8%, p < 0.001, x2 = 36.517) after adding BTI images. The percent of patients with evaluable staged segments between the two groups were 96.4% and 33.9%, respectively (x2 = 48.191, p < 0.001). BTI showed a sensitivity of 96.4% and 87.9% in the detection of CVT on per-patient and per-segment level, respectively. Up to 98.1% of all thrombosed segments could be staged by BTI and 59.6% of them were matched with clinical staging. Conclusions: In the actual clinical practice, BTI improves diagnostic confidence and has an excellent performance in confirming and staging CVT. Collaboration between schools and businesses is now not only an effective way for businesses to train a large number of applied technical talents, but also an effective way for vocational colleges to change their disciplinary structure. At the same time, collaboration between schools and businesses is critical to the advancement of vocational education. The focus of this article is on the publication of literature on the long-term mechanism of school-business collaboration, the field of research on the long-term mechanism of school-business collaboration, state laws and regulations on school-business collaboration, and academic opinions. The content, mode, problems to be solved, and importance of sharing document information resources in school-business collaboration are the main topics of this article. Vocational technical colleges and businesses should benefit from each other and maximize their respective advantages in school-business collaboration. [Display omitted] • Porous ZnO supported Cu nanoparticles was for electrochemical synthesis of syngas. • ZnO serves as the CO synthesis site, while Cu acts as the H 2 generation site. • The coverage area of Cu on the ZnO surface can tune the H 2 /CO gas ratio. The electrochemical reduction of CO 2 and H 2 O to produce syngas is a promising approach for obtaining raw materials for industrial production. Herein, a series of low cost Cu/ZnO composites were synthesized by a simple calcination method, which can serve as electrocatalysts for the precise synthesis of syngas with various designer H 2 /CO ratios. The experimental results reveal that the proportion of H 2 in gaseous products increases as Cu coverage on the ZnO surface increases. Thus, by regulating the amount of Cu loading, the ratios of H 2 to CO can be controlled in a wide range from 0.1 to 3.4, which is suitable for synthesizing a variety of downstream products. Here, we synthesized gold nanocluster aggregates (GNCA) and constructed a gold nanocluster aggregates-phenol derivative system based on van der Waals for ratiometric fluorescence detection of dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE), and resorcinol (Rs), respectively. Novel fluorescent GNCA were rapidly prepared by one-pot method in an alkaline environment regulated by PEI instead of NaOH. PEI wrapped around and connected gold nanoclusters to form GNCA with long fluorescence lifetime and high fluorescent stability. Additionally, Rs was adsorbed on the surface of GNCA via van der Waals to develop the GNCA-Rs system. When NE and DA were introduced to the GNCA-Rs system, two new fluorescence peaks at 513 nm and 474 nm appeared, owing to the fluorescent polycondensation reaction of Rs with NE and DA, respectively. Thus, non-enzymatic fluorescence detections of NE and DA were achieved. When the GNCA-Rs system was used as a fluorescent probe, the linear detection ranges of NE and DA were 0.01–400.0 μM and 0.001–400.0 μM respectively, with detection limits (LOD) of 78.0 nM and 3.0 nM. The high sensitivity was attributed to physical adsorption based on van der Waals interactions and polycondensation processes. Similarly, van der Waals developed a GNCA-DA system with remarkable sensitivity (LOD=1.4 nM) for the detection of Rs. Ni-based alloys, known for their exceptional mechanical properties and high corrosion resistance in harsh environments, are extensively utilized in gas-turbine engines for propulsion and energy generation. Of particular interests are the L1 2 -Ni 3 Al and B2-NiAl phases in Al-Ni alloy, which can be the strengthening phases for superalloy and high temperature structural materials, respectively. After Ga addition in the Al-Ni system, these promising intermetallic compounds form a continuous compositional range encompassing the L1 2 -Ni 3 (Al, Ga) and B2-Ni(Al, Ga) phases. They exhibited distinct mechanical properties contingent on the ratio of Al to Ga. Additionally, Ni and Al are the commonly used substrates in the electronic package and Ga has been used as a filler material for interconnection. Hence, the Al-Ga-Ni phase equilibria are of practical importance for designing L1 2 -Ni 3 (Al, Ga) and/or B2-Ni(Al, Ga) phase-dispersed Ni-based alloys as well as for evaluating interfacial reactions in the Al/Ga/Ni contacts. However, the Al-Ga-Ni ternary system remains relatively unexplored. In this study, Al-Ga-Ni isothermal sections at 600 (Ni-lean), 900, and 1000 (Ni-rich) °C were experimentally constructed based on equilibrated alloys. Additionally, a CALPHAD-type thermodynamic assessment for the Al-Ga-Ni ternary system was comprehensively performed based on all available experimental information. Furthermore, the Young's modulus and hardness of four B2-Al(Ga, Ni) compounds were determined, revealing that the addition of Ga to B2-NiAl phase would lead to a significant decrease in Young's modulus but a notable enhancement in hardness. In this paper, finite-time synchronization and H ∞ synchronization of coupled complex-valued memristive neural networks (CCVMNNs) with or without parameter uncertainty are analyzed. First, a finite-time synchronization (FTS) condition is presented for CCVMNNs by means of deploying Lyapunov stability theory and developing suitable controllers. Then, we utilize the similar method to derive a criterion of robust finite-time synchronization (RFTS) for the proposed CCVMNNs with uncertain parameter. Furthermore, we establish some criteria for the sake of ensuring that the considered network can reach finite-time H ∞ synchronization and robust finite-time H ∞ synchronization. The objective of this paper is to study the sliding bifurcation in a planar piecewise smooth system with an elliptic switching curve. Some new phenomena are observed, such as a crossing limit cycle containing four intersections with the switching curve, sliding cycles having four sliding segments, and sliding cycles consisting of the entire switching curve. Firstly, we investigate the bifurcation of sliding cycle from a sliding heteroclinic connection to two cusps and show the appearance of one sliding cycle with two folds. To plot the bifurcation diagram, a planar piecewise linear system with two zones separated by an ellipse are considered. Moreover, we study in more detail the unfolding of a sliding cycle connecting four cusps by exhibiting its complete bifurcation diagram. More precisely, we explore the necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of limit cycles and derive the concrete bifurcation curves. Additionally, a simple piecewise smooth system with nonlinear subsystems is studied, which shows the possibility of the existence of two nested limit cycles. According to the current power supply focused reform in China, a dual-channel and multienergy supply chain model is constructed. The supply chain has a new energy enterprise, a traditional energy enterprise, and the State Grid that is the retailer. New energy company and traditional energy company sell electricity to the State Grid at wholesale prices, and at the same time they enter the market to retail power products. Multiequilibriums and their practical significance are discussed. The complex dynamic is investigated using a bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponent, parameter basin, and fractal dimension. In this multilayer supply chain network, the price adjustment of the State Grid will make the entire supply chain face greater volatility risks, and dual-channel suppliers, that is, new energy and traditional energy companies are also involved in this volatility. Further, considering the sticky information, the sticky expectation of electricity price is built for studying the lagging electricity price. The dynamic characteristics of the sticky model are investigated, and new phenomena are discovered: 3-orbit bifurcation and mutation appear with fractals. This means that prices continue to swing and oscillate on three tracks. Through comparison of the fractal dimension, an important conclusion is discovered: the purpose of sticky expectations for electricity prices is to stabilize price fluctuations, but sticky expectations make the market more complicated. Background: RPL35A has been reported to work as a biomarker in tumor angiogenesis. However, little work has been performed on the expression level and functional importance of RPL35A in gastric cancer (GC). Methods: The protein expression level of RPL35A was detected by immunohistochemical staining and western blot analysis. The Celigo cell counting assay was used to assess cell proliferation. Both the wound healing assay and the transwell assay were conducted to evaluate cell migration. Flow cytometric analysis was utilized to detect cell apoptosis and cell cycle. A mouse xenograft model was constructed for in vivo experiments. Results: The results demonstrated that RPL35A expression was abundantly up-regulated in GC and positively related to tumor infiltrate. In addition, RPL35A knockdown could significantly suppress cell proliferation, migration, enhance apoptosis and arrest cell cycle. The in vivo study also verified the inhibitory effects of RPL35A knockdown on GC tumorigenesis. Conclusions: The above mentioned results indicated that the knockdown of RPL35A might be a considerable therapeutic strategy for the treatment of gastric cancer. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
