Preeclampsia (PE) is a pregnancy-specific disorder, which is one of the leading causes of maternal, fetal, and neonatal death, particularly in developing countries. Arsenic (As), which is commonly found in soil and groundwater, has been associated with various complications of pregnancy, such as spontaneous abortion, hypertension, and stillbirth. Hence, the study was used to explore the relationship between PE and blood concentration of As in this study. Blood concentration of As during pregnancy was measured by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The results shown that the mean blood concentration of As was gradually increased from the control group to the severe PE group (P 0.0001). Elevated blood concentration of As was associated with the prevalence of PE (OR = 12.81, 95% CI: 2.43-67.39 and 27.55, 1.75-433.43 for middle and high vs. low). Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) refers to two or more consecutive spontaneous abortion before 24 weeks of gestation, representing 1% of couples of childbearing age. Epigenetic factors including dysregulation of DNA methylation of some genes may play a role in RPL. To identify RPL related genes modulated by DNA methylation expressed in decidua and blood. Three decidua samples each from RPL patients and normal controls were recruited to perform genome-wide bisulfite sequencing (GWBS) and transcriptome sequencing. Based on the above results, 22.52 kb of differential methylation regions (DMRs) from 17 genes were verified by bisulfite sequencing PCR at specific region (Hi-MethylSeq) in another 15 decidua (7RPL vs. 8 Controls) and 13 blood (5RPL vs. 8 Controls) samples. 23 genes showed significantly differential cytosine methylation status and distinct expression level between PRL patients and healthy controls synergistically. Three signaling pathways were found to be shared between genes with both hypomethylated differential methylation regions (DMR) and upregulated differential gene expression (DGE). The results from Hi-MethylSeq showed that the hypermethylation of SGK1 in both blood and decidua samples in RPL patients, which was consistent to its lower expression in endometrium reported earlier. SGK3 and CREB5 also showed modulated methylation level in RPL decidua. Our finding supported that aberrant methylation of SGK1 and CREB5 could be a cause of the dysregulation of these gens in the endometrium, which is one of cause of reproductive failure. The function of SGK3 in reproduction system deserves further investigation.

The new hohlraum experimental platform and the quasi-3D simulation model are developed to enable the study of the indirect drive experiment using the six-cylinder-port hohlraum for the first time. It is also the first implosion experiment for the six laser-entrance-hole hohlraum to effectively use all the laser beams of the laser facility that is primarily designed for the cylindrical hohlraum. The experiments performed at the 100 kJ Laser Facility produce a peak hohlraum radiation temperature of ∼222 eV for ∼80 kJ and 2 ns square laser pulse. The inferred x-ray conversion efficiency η∼87% is similar to the cylindrical hohlraum and higher than the octahedral spherical hohlraum at the same laser facility, while the low laser backscatter is similar to the outer cone of the cylindrical hohlraum. The hohlraum radiation temperature and M-band (1.6 keV) flux can be well reproduced by the quasi-3D simulation. The variations of the yield-over-clean and the hot spot shape can also be semiquantitatively explained by the calculated major radiation asymmetry of the quasi-3D simulation. Our work demonstrates the capability for the study of the indirect drive with the six-cylinder-port hohlraum at the cylindrically configured laser facility, which is essential for numerically assessing the laser energy required by the ignition-scale six-cylinder-port hohlraum.

Mercury (Hg) is a highly toxic substance, and its harmful effects on maternal and infant health have been reported. Yet, the associations of Hg exposure with preeclampsia (PE) and adverse birth outcomes are not well understood.The aim of this study was to investigate the potential effects of maternal Hg exposure on PE and birth outcomes.We conducted a case-control study with 84 participants in China. Logistic models were used to estimate odds ratios for PE risk and birth outcomes according to maternal blood Hg levels, adjusting for potential confounding factors.Elevated blood Hg levels were associated with increased risks of mild PE (aOR, 7.03; 95% CI, 1.61, 30.62; P 0.01) and severe PE (aOR, 47.55; 95% CI, 5.27, 429.05; P 0.05). We also found that increased blood Hg levels were associated with low birth weight (aOR, 1.12; 95% CI, 1.00, 1.25; P 0.05) and preterm birth (PTB) (aOR, 1.22; 95% CI, 1.08, 1.38; P 0.05).Our study provided evidence that elevated blood Hg levels were significantly associated with an increased risk of PE. In addition, our findings support that increased blood Hg levels might be associated with low birth weight and PTB.

In inertial confinement approaches to fusion, the asymmetry of target implosion is a major obstacle to achieving high gain in the laboratory. A recently proposed octahedral spherical hohlraum makes it possible to naturally create spherical target irradiation without supplementary symmetry control. Before any decision is made to pursue an ignition-scale laser system based on the octahedral hohlraum, one needs to test the concept with the existing facilities. Here, we report a proof-of-concept experiment for the novel octahedral hohlraum geometry on the cylindrically configured SGIII laser facility without a symmetry control. All polar and equatorial self-emission images of the compressed target show a near round shape of convergence ratio 15 under both square and shaped laser pulses. The observed implosion performances agree well with the ideal spherical implosion simulation. It also shows limitations with using the existing facilities and adds further weight to the need to move to a spherical port geometry for future ignition laser facilities.

Background The effects of COVID-19 lockdown measures on maternal and fetal health remain unclear. We examined the associations of COVID-19 lockdown with gestational length and preterm birth (PTB) in a Chinese population. Methods We obtained medical records of 595,396 singleton live infants born between 2015 and 2020 in 5 cities in Guangdong Province, South China. The exposed group (N = 101,900) included women who experienced the COVID-19 Level I lockdown (1/23–2/24/2020) during pregnancy, while the unexposed group (N = 493,496) included women who were pregnant during the same calendar months in 2015–2019. Cumulative exposure was calculated based on days exposed to different levels of emergency responses with different weighting. Generalized linear regression models were applied to estimate the associations of lockdown exposure with gestational length and risk of PTB ( Results The exposed group had a shorter mean gestational length than the unexposed group (38.66 vs 38.74 weeks: adjusted β = − 0.06 week [95%CI, − 0.07, − 0.05 week]). The exposed group also had a higher risk of PTB (5.7% vs 5.3%; adjusted OR = 1.08 [95%CI, 1.05, 1.11]). These associations seemed to be stronger when exposure occurred before or during the 23rd gestational week (GW) than during or after the 24th GW. Similarly, higher cumulative lockdown exposure was associated with a shorter gestational length and a higher risk of PTB. Conclusions The COVID-19 lockdown measures were associated with a slightly shorter gestational length and a moderately higher risk of PTB. Early and middle pregnancy periods may be a more susceptible exposure window.

In inertial confinement fusion, quantitative and high-spatial resolution ($$< 10\,\upmu $$ < 10 μ m) measurements of the X-rays self-emitted by the hotspot are critical for studying the physical processes of the implosion stagnation stage. Herein, the 8 ± 0.39-keV monochromatic X-ray distribution from the entire hotspot is quantitatively observed in 5-$$\upmu $$ μ m spatial resolution using a Kirkpatrick–Baez microscope, with impacts from the responses of the diagnosis system removed, for the first time, in implosion experiments at the 100 kJ laser facility in China. Two-dimensional calculations along with 2.5% P2 drive asymmetry and 0.3 ablator self-emission are congruent with the experimental results, especially for the photon number distribution, hotspot profile, and neutron yield. Theoretical calculations enabled a better understanding of the experimental results. Furthermore, the origins of the 17.81% contour profile of the deuterium-deuterium hotspot and the accurate Gaussian source approximation of the core emission area in the implosion capsule are clarified in detail. This work is significant for quantitatively exploring the physical conditions of the hotspot and updating the theoretical model of capsule implosion.

To study the effects of chunk mixing, the implosion experiments using capsules filled with deuterated foam (CDF capsule) were carried out on the Shenguang laser facility. Three types of the CDF capsules, namely the capsules without Au dopant, with micrometer Au dopant, and with atomic Au dopant, were used in the experiments. The neutron yields, the size, and the emission intensity of the hotspots were measured. The CDF capsules without Au dopant produced the highest neutron yield and the largest hotspot size at the time of peak emission. The capsules with micrometer or atomic Au dopant showed similar reduced neutron yield and hotspot size. The time-resolved hotspot emissions showed different behaviors between different capsules. One-dimensional simulations were carried out to understand the implosion dynamics of the CDF capsule without Au dopant, and to provide the thermodynamic conditions that the Au dopant would experience during the implosion. The effects of Au dopant were then discussed qualitatively.

A high-neutron yield platform imploded by a thin shell target is generally built to probe nuclear science problems, and it has the advantages of high neutron yield, ultrashort fusion time, micro fusion zone, isotropic and monoenergetic neutron. Some analytical models have been proposed to interpret exploding-pusher target implosion driven by a long wavelength laser, whereas they are imperfect for a 0.35 μm laser implosion experiment. When using the 0.35 μm laser, the shell is ablated and accelerated to high implosion velocity governed by Newton’s law, ablation acceleration and quasi-adiabatic compression models are suitable to explain the implosion of a laser direct-drive thin shell target. The new analytical model scales bang time, ion temperature and neutron yield for large variations in laser power, target radius, shell thickness, and fuel pressure. The predicted results of the analytical model are in agreement with experimental data on the Shenguang-III prototype laser facility, 100 kJ laser facility, Omega, and NIF, it demonstrates that the analytical model benefits the understanding of experiment performance and optimizing the target design of high neutron yield implosion.

α-Thalassemia (α-thal) is a very common single gene hereditary disease caused by large deletions or point mutations of the α-globin gene cluster in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. Here, we report for the first time, a novel large α-thal deletion in a Chinese family from Jiangsu Province, People's Republic of China (PRC), which removes almost the entire α2 and α1 genes from the α-globin gene cluster. Thus, it was named the Jiangsu deletion (- -JS) on the α-globin gene cluster causing α0-thal. Heterozygotes for this deletion showed an α-thal trait phenotype with reduced mean corpuscular volume (MCV) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin (Hb) (MCH) levels. The sequencing results showed that a 2538 bp deletion (NG_000006.1: g.35801_38338) existed in this novel genotype on the basis of -α4.2 (leftward), indicating a deletion of about 6.8 kb from the α-globin cluster. In addition, a 29 bp sequence was inserted into the deletion during the recombination events that led to this deletion. Through pedigree analysis, we knew that the proband inherited the novel allele from his mother.

An experiment has been conducted at the Shenguang-Ⅲ prototype laser facility, demonstrating the application of x-ray fluorescence imaging (XRFI) in diagnosing laser-driven hydrodynamic instability systems in planar geometry. An aluminum (Al)-foam target was used, including a modulated Al disk followed by a low density poly-4-methyl-1-pentene foam cylinder which was doped with titanium (Ti) dioxide nanoparticles to serve as the tracer layer. A blast wave was driven through the rippled interface, triggering the development of hydrodynamic instabilities and the growth of the perturbation. Vanadium plasma radiation dominated by He-α x-rays, was generated with a delay in time, inducing the emission of Ti K-shell fluorescent photons from the tracer layer. A Ross Pair Imager with matched scandium and Ti filters was employed to provide two-dimensional quasi-monochromatic fluorescent images, and the temporal evolution of the perturbation structures in the tracer layer was successfully observed. Furthermore, one-dimensional fluorescent intensity profiles across the perturbation structures were extracted and compared with the simulation results via a combination of the MULTI code, a buoyancy-drag model, a self-similar analysis and an imaging code. The boundaries of the measured profiles were shown to be connected together due to the small initial length of the tracer layer and the large boundary width caused by the curved interfaces and blurring effects, which made the absolute positions of the perturbation structures inaccessible. This research suggests that XRFI works well in qualitatively diagnosing the instability evolution and the experimental design has to be modified to further improve its performance in achieving quantitative information.

Implosion asymmetry is a crucial problem quenching ignition in the field of inertial confinement fusion. A forward-calculation method based on 1D and 2D hydrodynamic simulations has been developed to generate and to study the x-ray images of hot-spot self-emission, indicating asymmetry integrated over the entire drive pulse. It is shown that the x-ray imaging photon energy should be higher to avoid the influence of remaining shell. The contour level (percentage of the maximum emission intensity) and spatial resolution should be as low as possible, optimally less than 20% and 3 microns, for characterization of higher-mode signatures such as P8 to P12 by x-ray self-emission images. On the contrary, signatures of lower-mode such as P2 remain clear at all contour levels and spatial resolutions. These key results can help determine the optimal diagnostics, laser and target parameters for implosion experiments. Recent typical hot-spot asymmetry measurements and applications on Shenguang 100kJ-class laser facility are also reported.

The two-laser entrance hole (LEHs) spherical hohlraum energetic experiments with all 48 laser beams and two laser pulse shapes at the 100 kJ level laser facility were investigated. In this work, the time-resolved radiation temperature measured by multi-angle x-ray diodes agreed well with LARED simulations, and the peak radiation temperature was up to 260 eV with the laser power of 45 TW. Meanwhile, the backscattered laser energy fraction was less than 5% in the majority of shots, which proposed a low level of laser–plasma interaction (LPI) effect in the spherical hohlraum. However, in the shaped pulse shots with capsules, the stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) of smaller incident angle lasers was significantly increased to 15%. The measured SRS spectrum and LARED simulations showed that the increase in the LPI effects caused by the ablated CH plasma was around 0.1Nc (Nc is the critical density). In summary, according to the experimental results, the x-ray conversion efficiency of the vacuum spherical hohlraum was 85%–88% in 3 ns square pulses and 89%–93% in 3.6 ns shaped pulses. It was closer to that of the two-LEH cylindrical hohlraum at the Shen-Guang and NIF facilities.

The accuracy of the determination of the burn-averaged ion temperature of inertial confinement fusion implosions depends on the unfold process, including deconvolution and convolution methods, and the function, i.e., the detector response, used to fit the signals measured by neutron time-of-flight (nToF) detectors. The function given by Murphy et al. [Rev. Sci. Instrum. 68(1), 610-613 (1997)] has been widely used in Nova, Omega, and NIF. There are two components, i.e., fast and slow, and the contribution of scattered neutrons has not been dedicatedly considered. In this work, a new function, based on Murphy's function has been employed to unfold nToF signals. The contribution of scattered neutrons is easily included by the convolution of a Gaussian response function and an exponential decay. The ion temperature is measured by nToF with the new function. Good agreement with the ion temperature determined by the deconvolution method has been achieved.

A coaxial, high performance diamond detector has been developed for neutron diagnostics of inertial confinement fusion at ShenGuangIII laser facility. A Φ10 mm × 1 mm "optical grade" chemical-vapor deposition diamond wafer is assembled in coaxial-designing housing, and the signal is linked to a SubMiniature A connector by the cathode cone. The coaxial diamond detector performs excellently for neutron measurement with the full width at half maximum of response time to be 444 ps for a 50 Ω measurement system. The average sensitivity is 0.677 μV ns/n for 14 MeV (DT fusion) neutrons at an electric field of 1000 V/mm, and the linear dynamic range is beyond three orders of magnitude. The ion temperature results fluctuate widely from the neutron time-of-flight scintillator detector results because of the short flight length. These characteristics of small size, large linear dynamic range, and insensitive to x-ray make the diamond detector suitable to measure the neutron yield, ion temperature, and neutron emission time.

Areal density (ρR) is one of the crucial parameters in the inertial confinement fusion. Measurement of the fusion products is a more feasible method to diagnose ρR than other methods, such as X-ray. In the capsules filled with D 2 fuel or D- 3 He fuel, proton is an ideal probe to diagnose the implosion ρR in different emission times and directions by measurements of the proton yields and spectra. By D-D reaction protons and D- 3 He reaction protons, the diagnostics of the total and fuel ρR, ρR evolution, implosion asymmetry and mix effect have been demonstrated at OMEGA and NIF facilities. Also some advanced proton diagnostics instruments are developed with a high level capability. Preliminary diagnosis of ρR in the deuterium involved fuel capsules by measurement of protons at SG-III facility was implemented. A fusion product emission and transport code by Monte-Carlo method was developed. The primary and secondary protons emission and transport in the fuel and shell plasmas were able to be simulated. The relations of the proton energy loss and the secondary proton yields with the areal density were inspected. Several proton spectrometers have been built up at SG-III facility, such as a step ranged filter (SRF) proton spectrometer and a wedged range filter (WRF) proton spectrometer. Some proton response simulation codes and the codes for proton spectra reconstruction were also developed. The demonstrations of ρR diagnostics at SG-III facility by D-D reaction and D- 3 He reaction proton spectra measurements are presented.

The technique of x-ray fluorescence imaging (XRFI) has been applied to the high-energy-density (HED) jet experiments on the SG-III prototype laser facility. The jet was produced by the interaction of the laser driven shock with the perturbed Ti disk. The fluorescence emission of the Ti ejecta was pumped by the V He-α emission and recorded using a Ross Pair Imager with an optimized configuration. We achieved a spatial resolution of 35 μm and a temporal resolution of 1 ns. We also developed a method to infer the density distribution of the jet from the fluorescence images and discussed the conditions under which this method was accurate. These experiments provided insight into the characteristics of a HED jet and implied that XRFI is a promising way for studying HED hydrodynamics.

The first implosion tuning experiment with a shaped pulse driven was performed on the SGIII laser facility by using 2D X-ray radiography. Under the careful design, we obtained the driven symmetry both in the picket and peak. The experimental results show that the P2/P0 asymmetry can be tuned by varying the fraction energy in the inner cone both in the picket and peak. The radiation symmetry at the peak is consistent with our simulation. However, the radiation symmetry in first 0.5 ns (picket) had an unexpected negative P2/P0, which is different from the simulation; it may be caused by inner cone absorption in the tent which supported the capsule.

Two neutron time-of-flight (nToF) detectors have been employed to measure the neutron time-of-flight spectrum in different lines-of-sight, i.e., at the equator plane and the south pole, on Shenguang-III (SG-III) laser facility. The contribution of scattered neutrons has been calculated with the Monte Carlo code JMCT for each nToF detector. The results show that the scattered neutron spectrum is dominated by neutrons scattered on materials in the experiment hall, including the vacuum chamber. The shape of the scattered neutron spectrum depends on the view line, which has been observed with nToF detectors located in the experiment hall of the SG-III laser facility. A method based on the convolution of the calculated neutron time-of-flight spectrum and the instrument response function has been developed for the ion temperature determination. The calculated neutron spectra with the contribution of scattered neutrons can fit the measured results. We present the first integrated implosion experiments which were carried out on the SG-III Laser facility in 2015. Vacuum hohlraums and squared laser pulses were used in the experiments. The purpose of the experiments was to demonstrate the one-dimensional implosion performance at low-convergence ratios. To characterize the implosion performance, the hohlraum energetics, the implosion dynamics and the nuclear products were measured. In particular, the radiation flux was diagnosed through laser entrance hole at different angles by an array of flat response detectors, and the energy and the spectrum of the back-scattered lasers were monitored for 8 laser beams which correspond to 2 beams in each cone at the lower hemisphere. Moreover, the hotspot shape was imaged using KB microscopes of high spatial resolution simultaneously from the equator and polar views. Taking advantage of the high resolution, some detailed structures in the hotspots were noticed. For the best implosion performances, the neutron yields over 1D calculation reached 50% at the convergence-ratios of 15.

Achieving ignition via inertial confinement approach is of strong application value and important science significance. It is also a project of large scale that depends on the national strength. Involving theory, target fabrication, diagnostics, and laser facilities, integrated implosion experiment plays an important role in the research of ICF. Since the first successful neutron production with directly driven implosion in the 80’s, the quasi one-dimensional implosion performance dominated by shock compression was demonstrated in the period of 1990–2010, and the quasi one-dimensional implosion performance dominated by inertial compression was achieved in recent years. All of these facts definitely show the progress on improving the performance of integrated implosion. With the completion of SG-III laser facility, and in the situation of facing frustration in the US ignition program, there is grand opportunity and challenge when we are exploring toward the ignition parameter space with higher convergence ratio and lower adiabat.

The cylindrical vacuum hohlraum energy at the SGIII laser facility [X. T. He and W. Y. Zhang, Eur. Phys. J. D 44, 227 (2007) and W. Zheng et al., High Power Laser Sci. Eng. 4, e21 (2016)] is investigated for the first time. The hohlraum size and the laser energy are intermediate between the Nova and NIF typical hohlraum experiments. It is found that the SGIII hohlraum exhibits an x-ray conversion efficiency of about 85%, which is more close to that of the NIF hohlraum. The LARED simulations of the SGIII hohlraum underestimate about 15% of the radiation flux measured from the laser entrance hole, while the capsule radiation drive inferred from the x-ray bangtime is roughly consistent with the experiments. The underestimation of the SGIII hohlraum radiation flux is mainly caused by the more enclosed laser entrance hole in the LARED simulation. The comparison between the SGIII and NIF hohlraum simulations by LARED indicates that the LARED generally underestimates the measured radiation flux by 15% for the hi...

Charged particle diagnostics is one of the required techniques for implosion areal density diagnostics at the SG-III facility. Several proton spectrometers are under development, and some preliminary areal density diagnostics have been carried out. The response of the key detector, CR39, to charged particles was investigated in detail. A new track profile simulation code based on a semi-empirical model was developed. The energy response of the CR39 detector was calibrated with the accelerator protons and alphas from a 241Am source. A proton spectrometer based on the filtered CR39 detector was developed, and D–D primary proton measurements were implemented. A step range filter spectrometer was developed, and preliminary areal density diagnostics was carried out. A wedged range filter spectrometer array made of Si with a higher resolution was designed and developed at the SG-III facility. A particle response simulation code by the Monte Carlo method and a spectra unfolding code were developed. The capability was evaluated in detail by simulations.

A diagnostic is developed for determining the hotspot mix in inertial confinement fusion experiments. A multi-channel pinhole camera measures Bremsstrahlung emissions from implosion capsules ranging from 6 keV to 30 keV and records an image of the hotspot. Meanwhile, a planar crystal spectrometer measures Ar line emissions used to deduce the electron density of the hotspot. An X-ray streaked camera records the burn duration. With the Bremsstrahlung spectrum, electron density, hotspot volume, and burn duration, the mix quantity is determined by solving a pair of linear equations. This inferred mix amount has an uncertainty due to the uncertainty of the electron density, but with the help of the measured neutron product, the most likely mix quantity value can be determined. This technique is applied to experimental images to infer the quantity of CH ablator mix into the hotspot.

Directly driven cryogenic target implosion experiments are performed on the SGIII prototype laser facility. X-ray pinhole images reveal frozen condensation on the sealing film. The influence of the condensation on the delivery of laser energy to the capsule surface is then quantified experimentally. It is found that, with a carefully chosen pre-pulse duration, the influence can be reduced, and the neutron yield is increased by an order of magnitude. Subsequently, the cryogenic layered capsule and cryogenic gas-filled capsule are imploded using 6.5-kJ laser energy. The implosion performance is characterized by the neutron yield, the 2D self-emission images of the in-flight shell, and the primary proton spectrum. The neutron yield is 2 × 107 for the gas-filled capsule and 2.8 × 107 for the layered capsule. The 2D self-emission images of the in-flight shell exhibit significant implosion asymmetry. The energy downshift of the proton spectrum is used to infer the areal density. For the gas-filled capsule, the spectrum is downshifted by 0.1 MeV, yielding an areal density of 1–3 mg/cm2. For the layered capsule, the spectrum is downshifted by 0.5 MeV, yielding an areal density of 4–6 mg/cm2. Improving the implosion symmetry would help to further increase the areal density.

We study shell mix during implosion using a capsule with a Cl-doped gas-shell interface that is also filled with Ar-doped deuterium gas. The Ar and Cl K-shell emissions are recorded with a flat crystal spectrometer. The He-β complex is analyzed to infer the electron temperature and density in the hotspot. Two regions of different hydrodynamic states are observed: a region of Te ∼ 1.2 ± 0.2 keV and ne ∼ (4 ± 0.5) × 1023 cm−3 and another of Te ∼ 0.6 ± 0.2 keV and ne ∼ (4 ± 0.5) × 1022 cm−3 probed by Ar and Cl ions, respectively. The neutron yield was also recorded and found to have reduced by a factor of ten for the Cl-doped capsule. By attributing the degradation of the neutron yield to the enhanced radiation loss due to the presence of mixed Cl ions and using the conservation of hotspot internal energy, the amount of mixed Cl ions is estimated to be ∼1.4 × 1014, corresponding to a 0.1 μm thickness of the initial shell material and a mixing width of about 16 μm.

The implosion dynamics is the most important metrics for assessing the progress toward ignition of an inertially confined fusion experiment. A high spatial resolution monochromatic x-ray imaging system based on the spherically bent crystal is developed to measure the implosion trajectory. The density distribution of the imploding capsules can be inferred with more accurately from monochromatic trajectories. The self emission of the imploded core will be restrained by spectral resolution and the setup of the imaging system. Also the variations of the backlighters' intensity will not be seen in the images. It has been demonstrated on SGII laser facility at the first time. The ablator remaining mass and the implosion velocity, which are the important ablator parameters, are calculated from the monochromatic trajectories. And the results are contrasted to the 1D hydrodynamics simulations.
