We report here an efficient and highly diastereoselective intermolecular anti-Markovnikov hydroamination of unactivated alkenes with aliphatic azides in the presence of silane. The system tolerates a wide range of azides and alkenes and operates with alkene as limiting reagent. Mechanistic studies suggest a radical chain pathway that involves aminium radical formation, radical addition to alkenes and HAT from silane to β-aminium alkyl radical. The use of sterically bulky silane is proposed to contribute to the excellent diastereoselectivity for HAT. Computational analysis uncovers the reaction pathway of aliphatic azide activation with silyl radical for aminyl radical formation.

With the development of oil field production demand today, pumping unit is developing towards the direction of energy saving, intelligent. According to the present status of the oilfield, this paper designed a kind of intelligent energy saving pumping unit system, the system acceleration and deceleration process is very short, most of their working time in uniform motion in a stroke, and the beam pumping unit has been alternating deceleration process all the time compared with good energy saving effect. Energy store system is designed, the system not only reduces energy consumption, and make the motors can be started with initial velocity, shorten the motor start-up time, the motor starting current is stable running current of 4 to 7 times, so that reduces the starting current impact. To test this idea, modeling of motor, and the simulation analysis, the results confirmed the idea very well. Finally, in the principle of the pumping unit system prototype experiments, the experimental results show that the pumping unit system has significant energy-saving effect and the intelligent characteristics.

Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) is one of the most representative perfluorinated compounds and liver is the major organ where PFOA is accumulated. Although the multiple toxicities had been reported, its toxicological profile remained unclear. In this study, a systems toxicology strategy integrating liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry-based metabonomics and transcriptomics analyses was applied for the first time to investigate the effects of PFOA on a representative Chinese normal human liver cell line L-02, with focusing on the metabolic disturbance. Fifteen potential biomarkers were identified on metabolic level and most observations were consistent with the altered levels of gene expression. Our results showed that PFOA induced the perturbations in various metabolic processes in L-02 cells, especially lipid metabolism-related pathways. The up-stream mitochondrial carnitine metabolism was proved to be influenced by PFOA treatment. The specific transformation from carnitine to acylcarnitines, which showed a dose-dependent effect, and the expression level of key genes involved in this pathway were observed to be altered correspondingly. Furthermore, the down-stream cholesterol biosynthesis was directly confirmed to be up-regulated by both increased cholesterol content and elevated expression level of key genes. The PFOA-induced lipid metabolism-related effects in L-02 cells started from the fatty acid catabolism in cytosol, fluctuated to the processes in mitochondria, extended to the cholesterol biosynthesis. Many other metabolic pathways like amino acid metabolism and tricarboxylic acid cycle might also be disturbed. The findings obtained from the systems biological research provide more details about metabolic disorders induced by PFOA in human liver.

In this exploratory lattice study, low-energy near threshold scattering of the $({\overline{D}}_{1}{D}^{*}{)}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ meson system is analyzed using lattice QCD with ${N}_{f}=2$ twisted mass fermion configurations. Both s-wave (${J}^{P}={0}^{\ensuremath{-}}$) and p-wave (${J}^{P}={1}^{+}$) channels are investigated. It is found that the interaction between the two charmed mesons is attractive near the threshold in both channels. This calculation provides some hints in the searching of resonances or bound states around the threshold of $({\overline{D}}_{1}{D}^{*}{)}^{\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}}$ system.

DNA methylation is one of the most common epigenetic modifications. Global genomic DNA hypomethylation is considered to induce chromosome instability and high incidence of genetic mutation, which is closely related to the emergence and development of cancer. In this study, a method based on liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) was developed to determine global DNA methylation ratios in various biological samples. DNA was extracted from the samples and hydrolyzed by three specific enzymes into single nucleosides. Liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry was used to measure the concentrations of 2'-deoxycytidine and 2'-deoxy-5-methylcytidine respectively, so as to calculate the global DNA methylation ratios. The developed method was further used to explore the global DNA methylation ratios in normal human liver cell L-02 exposed to perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) and plasma samples of 10 hepatocellular carcinoma patients and 10 healthy participants as controls. This approach has high sensitivity and stability, and is easy to be operated, enabling us to analyze the global DNA methylation ratios in various biological samples, especially those valuable samples (such as serum, plasma et al.) with extremely low concentration of DNA.

Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) is one of the most commonly used perfluorinated compounds. Being a persistent environmental pollutant, it can accumulate in human tissues via various exposure routes. PFOA may interfere in a toxic fashion on the immune system, liver, development, and endocrine systems. In utero human exposure had been associated with cord serum global DNA hypomethylation. In light of this, we investigated possible PFOA-induced DNA methylation alterations in L02 cells in order to shed light into its epigenetic-mediated mechanisms of toxicity in human liver. L02 cells were exposed to 5, 10, 25, 50 or 100 mg/L PFOA for 72 h. Global DNA methylation levels were determined by LC/ESI-MS, glutathione-S-transferase Pi (GSTP) gene promoter DNA methylation was investigated by methylation-specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with bisulfite sequencing, and consequent mRNA expression levels were measured with quantitative real-time reverse transcriptase PCR. A dose-related increase of GSTP promoter methylation at the transcription factor specificity protein 1 (SP1) binding site was observed. However, PFOA did not significantly influence global DNA methylation; nor did it markedly alter the promoter gene methylation of p16 (cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 2A), ERα (estrogen receptor α) or PRB (progesterone receptor B). In addition, PFOA significantly elevated mRNA transcript levels of DNMT3A (which mediates de novo DNA methylation), Acox (lipid metabolism) and p16 (cell apoptosis). Considering the role of GSTP in detoxification, aberrant methylation may be pivotal in PFOA-mediated toxicity response via the inhibition of SP1 binding to GSTP promoter.

In the drilling process, axial vibration, transverse vibration and torsional vibration happen to drilling string. And the coupled vibration is more complex. In the resonance state, drilling string collides with the wall, which causes serious damage on drilling string in a short time and results in economic loss to the drilling operation. In this paper, the regularity of coupled vibration is analyzed by using finite element method. The model of full-hole drilling strings is established. The distribution regularities of coupled resonant frequency are obtained through computer analysis. The coupled model is more accurate than single vibration model. And the gaps of high rotary speed resonance regions are larger. Resonance state can be avoided by changing rotary speed, and drilling accidents can be reduced.

How to predict the relationship among particle size and among product size, to establish the relationship between the granularity and working parameters in the process of grinding and to determine the optimum operating parameters. With proposing BS squeeze crush model by L. Bass and the idea of roll surface division as the material uneven extrusion force are adopted. Based on field experiments the experimental data is analyzed, the select function and the breakage functions are fitted with MATLAB software, and obtaining their model. The comminution model is determined by the roller division. We obtain the model parameter through the experimental data. Through model analysis shows: the relationship between particle breakage and energy absorption, namely the smaller size of the same power, the lower broken; the breakage diminishes with the decrease of particle size ratio and it will be tending to a small constant when the smaller particle size ratio. The breakage functions rapidly decrease within ratio of between 0.2-0.7. This shows: the energy consumption will rapidly increase when the particle size of less than 0.2 in broken; the selection diminish with the decrease of particle size. Pressure (8-9MPa) should be the most appropriate value.

The investigation of the mechanisms of plant adaptation to stressor action is one of the leading directions of current biological studies. To understand the mechanism of salt tolerance of seabuckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) and identify its ability to cope with the salinity effect in the saline and extremely cold region of Qinghai, China, a test was conducted with two-year-old seedlings subjected to 0, 200, 400 and 600 mmol·L−1 NaCl solutions for 30 d. The results show that with an increase in salinity, the biomass of H. rhamnoides seedlings clearly decreased. Leaf water potential (Ψw) and relative water content (RWC) were significantly reduced under salinity, with severe water shortages appearing in leaves. At the same time, the total chlorophyll content declined markedly. When salinity increased and stress time prolonged, the net CO2 assimilation rate (A) significantly declined. Intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) declined at first and was then followed by an increase over the stress time. We conclude that H. rhamnoides grown in the extremely cold and saline region of Qinghai has a certain resistance to salt, which can be planted at appropriate salinity levels.

In this exploratory lattice study, low-energy scattering of the (DD*)(+/-) meson system is analyzed using lattice QCD with N-f = 2 twisted mass fermion configurations with three pion mass values. The calculation is performed within single-channel Luscher's finite-size formalism. The threshold scattering parameters, namely the scattering length a(0) and the effective range r(0), for the s-wave scattering in J(P) = 1(+) channel are extracted. For the cases in our study, the interaction between the two charmed mesons is weakly repulsive. Our lattice results therefore do not support the possibility of a shallow bound state for the two mesons for the pion mass values we studied. This calculation provides some useful information on the nature of the newly discovered resonance-like structure Z(c)(3900) by various experimental groups.

With two-year old seedlings of Hippophea rhamnoides and Shepherdia argentea as test materials, this paper studied their growth and photosynthetic characteristics under the stress of different concentration (0, 200, 400 and 600 mmol x L(-1)) NaCl. The results showed that the biomass and total leaf area per plant of H. rhamnoides and S. argentea seedlings decreased significantly with increasing NaCl concentration. Comparing with the control, the root/shoot ratio of H. rhamnoides and S. argentea seedlings under NaCl stress increased obviously, while the leaf mass per area (LMA) decreased slightly. When the NaCl concentration increased and the stress time prolonged, the net photosynthetic rate (P(n)), transpiration rate (T(r)), and stomatal conductance (G(s)) of H. rhamnoides and S. argentea seedlings declined markedly, the intercellular CO2 concentration (C(i)) increased after an initial decrease, whereas the water use efficiency (WUE) and stomatal limiting value (L(s)) decreased after an initial increase. The dynamic changes of G(s), C(i) and L(s) indicated that the decline of P(n) was mainly caused by the stomatal limitation in a short-term stress, and by non-stomatal limitation in a long-term stress. The poorer the salt tolerance of tree species and the higher the NaCl concentration, the earlier the transition from stomatal limitation to non-stomatal limitation would occur. As for H. rhamnoides, its morphological symptoms of salt injury appeared on the 10th day, and all of its seedlings were died on the 22th day under 600 mmol NaCl x L(-1) stress. In contrast, S. argentea could tolerate 600 mmol NaCl x L(-1) stress for above 30 days, illustrating that S. argentea, as an introduced tree species, had higher salt tolerance than H. rhamnoides, and could be planted widely in saline regions of China.

In the paper, a novel neural network model of robots is presented. Its structural properties, such as the linear-in-the-parameters dynamics, are investigated to facilitate controller design. Since the neural networks are used to model the inertia matrix D(g) and gravitational potential energy P(q) only, they are static networks and the size of the resulting model is much smaller than the dynamic ones. Subsequently, a general controller based on the resulting neural network model is discussed. It can be shown that all the closed-loop signals are bounded and tracking error goes to zero. >

We present an exploratory lattice study for the two-photon decay of $\eta_c$ using $N_f=2$ twisted mass lattice QCD gauge configurations generated by the European Twisted Mass Collaboration. Two different lattice spacings of $a=0.067$fm and $a=0.085$fm are used in the study, both of which are of physical size of 2$fm$. The decay widths are found to be $1.025(5)$KeV for the coarser lattice and $1.062(5)$KeV for the finer lattice respectively where the errors are purely statistical. A naive extrapolation towards the continuum limit yields $\Gamma\simeq 1.122(14)$KeV which is smaller than the previous quenched result and most of the current experimental results.
