8. Analysis of influencing factors for acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in Yunnan Province: A retrospective cohort study.

Abstract

Objective To explore the incidence, time of occurrence and influencing factors of acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (AECOPD) in stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients within one year. Methods Retrospectively collected information on COPD case home page visits in Yunnan Province from 2016 to 2022, establishing a longitudinal observation cohort based on patients' names and ID numbers. The incidence rate, time of occurrence and average number of AECOPD within one year of COPD were calculated, and the relationship between patients' exposure factors and the number of AECOPD within one year was analyzed by using multivariate linear regression, and the exposure factors affecting AECOPD within one year of COPD patients were analyzed by using Cox regression. Results The mean age of 405 428 COPD patients was (70. 75 ' 10.95) years, the mean number of comorbidities was 1.14 ± 1.15, the incidence of AECOPD within one year was 17.55%, the mean duration of occurrence was (4.58 ± 3.64) months, and the mean number of AECOPD per patient was 0.27. The regression results showed that gender (HR = 1.473, 95% CI: 1.446-1.500), age (HR=1.011, 95% CI: 1.010-1.012), number of comorbidities (HR=1. 083, 95% CI: 1.076-1.090), medical insurance type (HR=1.481, 95% CI: 1.394-1.574), and admission season (HR=1.115, 95% CI: 1.090-1.140) were the influencing factors for acute exacerbation in patients with COPD within one year. Conclusion The incidence of AECOPD in COPD patients in Yunnan Province within one year is 17.55%. We should start from various risk factors and focus on male, elderly, patients with multifile comorbidities, those admitted in spring and winter seasons, and non-resident medical insurance patients. Abstract

This paper comprehensively analyzes the impact of consumer preference for products in a multi-period closed-loop supply chain network (CLSCN) equilibrium. This paper is based on the multi-period CLSCN equilibrium model of remanufacturers' recoveries and multiple planning periods. The consumer preference for products at multiple planning periods are respectively divided into dynamic and static conditions. Moreover, the intervention of government is considered. Meanwhile, the variational inequalities are employed to separately depict the optimal behaviors and equilibrium conditions of the supply chain network. The results show that when the consumer preference for new products is static, the impact of consumer preference for new products has a significant impact on the multi-period CLSCN. If consumer preference for new products is dynamic, at the preliminary planning period, the impact of consumer preference for new products on the multi-period CLSCN will be better defined.

Abstract

[Objectives] To obtain the characteristics of the migrating Mythimna separata (Walker) during the peak migration episode in 2013 from the doppler weather radar echoes, and explore the relationship between the numbers resolved from radar echoes and the catch sizes from search light traps, which would provide a foundation to monitor insect migration with doppler weather radar. [Methods] The CINRADSA weather radar data in Beijing and the interval catch sizes from searchlight trap during the migrating peak days of the first generation moths of M. separata in 2013 were selected, and the weather radar data were extracted, retrieved, calculated, counted, analyzed and visualized with some libraries in Python and R. [Results] The number of the M. separata moths from searchlight trap at Yanqing accounted for more than 80% every night from 5th to 9th in June, and the reflectivity between 15 dBZ and 15 dBZ of the echoesfrom the insect swarms above the monitoring site was more than 90%, of which the number of radar echoes from 0 to 15 dBZ accounted for 30.7%, 42.0%, 43.2%, 37.2% and 25.1%, respectively, the trend was similar with the proportion of the M. separata moths from searchlight trap. The direction of the target echoes was northward on average from 5th to 8th in June and southward on 9th. The proportion of echoes with northward direction has the similar trend with the proportion of the M. separata moths from searchlight trap, and the correlation coefficient between them is 0.95. The average speed of the northward echoes from 5th to 8th is close to the wind speed, however the displacement speed is 1.36 m/s on the 9th, which is close to its own flight speed. The number of the M. separata moths retrieved from weather radar data was positively linearly correlated with the number of the M. separata moths from searchlight trap. The maximum of M. separata moths flying over Beijing within the radar monitoring range (approximately 4 300km2) in one night reached to 6 million heads, and the total mass was more than 0.8 tons. [Conclusion] Doppler weather radar can observe the characteristics of the migrating M. separata moths during the peak episode, and these parameters help in understand the migration of M. separata.
