Introduction: The long-term immunogenicity, adverse effects, influencing factors, and protection from booster vaccines remain unclear. Specifically, little is known regarding the humoral immunity and breakthrough infections associated with COVID-19 booster immunization. Therefore, we evaluated the immunogenicity, reactogenicity, influencing factors, and protective effects of the first coronavirus disease booster vaccine 23 months before and after implementation of dynamic zero epidemic control measures among healthcare staff. Methods: We prospectively included 389 healthcare staff members in China with negative pre-enrolment severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 test results. Neutralising serum antibodies were evaluated every two months till 23 months post-booster vaccination. Breakthrough infection was recorded or confirmed by SARS-CoV-2 specific PCR testing via throat swabs from participants before and after dynamic zero epidemic control measures. Results: At 15–30 days after vaccination, the mean concentration of the booster vaccine was 6.4 times above initial concentrations. Poorer antibody responses by booster vaccine correlated with male sex, longer post-booster duration, same-manufacturer vaccines, post-routine epidemic control measures implementation and intervals >210 days between primary and booster vaccinations. Higher breakthrough rates were associated with longer post-booster durations and post-routine epidemic control measures implementation but not associated with levels of neutralising antibodies after booster vaccination from participants. Adverse reactions were non-serious. These booster vaccine doses induced rapid, robust antibody responses, maintained for only 6–7 months. Discussion: Neutralizing antibodies induced by breakthrough infection with SARS-CoV-2 were weaker than those induced by the first COVID-19 booster vaccine, predicting that antibodies induced by SARS-CoV-2 may be very different from those of other known infectious pathogens. The exceptional photoelectromagnetic characteristics of rare-earth elements contribute significantly to their indispensable position in the high-tech industry. The exponential expansion of the demand for high-purity rare earth and related compounds can be attributed to the swift advancement of contemporary technology. Nevertheless, rare-earth elements are finite and limited resources, and their excessive mining unavoidably results in resource depletion and environmental degradation. Hence, it is crucial to establish a highly effective approach for the extraction and reclamation of rare-earth elements. Adsorption is regarded as a promising technique for the recovery of rare-earth elements owing to its simplicity, environmentally friendly nature, and cost-effectiveness. The efficacy of adsorption is contingent upon the performance characteristics of the adsorbent material. Presently, there is a prevalent utilization of porous adsorbent materials with substantial specific surface areas and plentiful surface functional groups in the realm of selectively separating and recovering rare-earth elements. This paper presents a thorough examination of porous inorganic carbon materials, porous inorganic silicon materials, porous organic polymers, and metal–organic framework materials. The adsorption performance and processes for rare-earth elements are the focal points of discussion about these materials. Transplantation of a synthetic polymer nerve conduit carrying stem cells is promising for treating peripheral nerve injury. In this study, a micropatterned inner surface of polycaprolactone (PCL) nerve conduit cellularized with nasal respiratory mucosa‐derived ectoderm mesenchymal stem cells (EMSCs) is adopted for peripheral nerve regeneration. The PCL microstructure grating is fabricated by soft nanoimprint lithography (NIL), whose templates can be easily transferred from the Ebeam photoresist pattern. The most suitable microstructure is carefully chosen to support EMSCs alignment and nerve regeneration. In vitro, the micropatterned PCL nerve conduit greatly enhanced the directional alignment of EMSCs and the MBP and S100 expression of myelin proteins. Additionally, the micropatterned conduit preseeded with EMSCs significantly stimulated the axon‐directed extension of neural stem cells. In vivo, micropatterned PCL conduits cotransplanted with EMSCs enhanced motor function and promoted sciatic nerve regeneration and extension in a rat model of sciatic nerve defect. Taken together, this "all‐in‐one" nerve guidance conduit makes sciatic nerve regeneration and morphological repairing accelerated, which has a potential clinical application in neural tissue engineering. The wetting transition in the one-dimensional cluster Ising model with opposite boundary fields is studied. Tuning one boundary field while fixing another leads to the occurrence of phase transitions, where the transition points depend on the cluster coupling. Furthermore, the phase diagram is divided into three regions with different phase transition. For weak and strong cluster coupling, the phase transition is continuous and belongs to the same universality of transverse Ising model with boundary fields. For intermediate cluster coupling, the phase transition is first order. In the strong cluster coupling region, the critical region becomes exponentially small and the asymptotic behavior is absent even for lattice size up to 1 0 4 . A numerical method to solve the energy gap and the correlation length is proposed on an infinite long spin chain. With this method, one can get the critical behavior as close to the critical point as possible provided that the numerical accuracy is high enough. In the light of this method, we clearly show that there is a preasymptotic regime in which the apparent critical exponents depend on the cluster coupling. Moreover, we obtain the accurate energy gap exponent z ν and the correlation length exponent ν in the asymptotic critical region. • The phase diagram is given. • A numerical method for solving the energy gap and the correlation length on an infinite long spin chain is proposed. With it the asymptotic critical behavior can be studied. • It is found that in the strong cluster term region, there exist wide preasymptotic regions where the apparent critical exponents depend on the cluster term.
