3. Diagnóstico e Singularidades da Criança com Síndrome de Coffin-Siris: Um Relato de Experiência.

We noticed the lack of information about Coffin-Siris syndrome during the pedagogical monitoring of a 3-year-old child with this condition. In the biomedical literature, the diagnosis is described as a set of characteristics of hypoplasia or aplasia, facial dysmorphisms, intellectual interruptions, etc. Through the historical -cultural understanding of the development of people with disabilities, and based on the Dias-Presotti Method, we organized resources and strategies for the teaching process. We present our experience report of a psychopedagogical intervention that occurred over 5 months, and the resulting evidence of the child's learning processes and language development. This paper analyzes the experiences of Capuxu children with the animals they interact with daily, looking for un understanding about how children's relationships with these companion species cross the Capuxu sociality, including the onomastic system, children's commensality, the techniques for the production of the body and the tasks performed by children with or for their animals. In all these experiences, there is a kind of learning mediated by affection and mutual care, in a process of affectionate imitation, in which children make kinship with animals and paradoxically finish off "growing up as humans", in the view of adults. This work is part of a larger investigation that aimed to know the understandings of peasant high school students about the process of learning assessment in the area of natural sciences. Within the scope of this essay, the objective was to know the historical elements present in the evaluation practices developed by teachers. To achieve this, a bibliographic research was carried out, with a qualitative approach. The results showed that, over time, the assessment of learning and its procedures have been influenced by different pedagogical tendencies, which have been accentuated in each era, demarcating ideologies of education, teaching and learning. Despite the advances that have occurred in the last three decades, nowadays, the assessment of learning is still surrounded by challenges and is strongly influenced by school exams, so that, through this research, it was possible to identify that there are distances in relation to the evaluation practices developed and the legal determinations. It is concluded that it is important to know the historical aspects that involve the evaluation of learning, recognizing the contributions of the different pedagogies to the evaluation processes developed today. Objetivo: Este estudo buscou compreender o significado e os sentimentos que envolvem o processo de aprendizagem, o vínculo com o computador e a associação das palavras tecnologia, computador e informática para participantes de um grupo de convivência. Método: Tratou-se de uma pesquisa quantiqualitativa com 20 sujeitos com idade igual ou superior a 50 anos. Os dados quantitativos foram descritos por meio de estatística descritiva. Os de cunho qualitativo foram analisados pelo método de análise de conteúdo. Resultados: Constatou-se que o processo de aprendizagem, mediado pelo computador, proporcionou mudanças positivas na vida desses sujeitos, promovendo o aprendizado, a interação, a formação de círculo de amizades e elevação da autoestima. Além disso, revelou- se que a associação das palavras tecnologia, computador e informática representam um grande avanço e facilidade na vida das pessoas. Conclusão: Da interação com o computador se promoveu a inclusão digital, a conquista de um espaço sociodigital, de novas amizades e a valorização do idoso enquanto pessoa.

O artigo aborda as dificuldades de se realizar uma pesquisa em educação em um contexto amazônico, de acordo com o rigor científico, buscando promover um diálogo sobre a importância da pesquisa em educação associada a uma perspectiva intercultural, durante a disciplina de Pesquisa em Ensino de Ciências, dos cursos de Licenciatura em Ciências: Biologia e Química, com sete estudantes indígenas do município de Benjamin Constant - Amazonas. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de estudo de caso, mediante a observação participante, na qual se objetivou conhecer as dificuldades dos estudantes para discutir questões interculturais e de valorização sociocultural por um embasamento teórico-epistemológico, sendo apresentado dentro dos critérios metodológicos que a comunidade científica requer. Constata-se que serão necessárias muitas discussões sobre este tema para que os estudantes indígenas não se sintam às margens do fazer científico e do desenvolvimento necessário à pesquisa educacional no Brasil.

O artigo propõe investigar o ensino do corpo humano para estudantes surdos por meio do bilinguismo, utilizando aulas experienciais, atividades de pesquisa e a confecção de um livro ilustrado. Destaca-se a importância da educação bilíngue, com a Língua Brasileira de Sinais (Libras) como língua de instrução e a Língua portuguesa escrita como segunda língua, para promover uma aprendizagem significativa. O relato busca apresentar as estratégias pedagógicas utilizadas, visando uma compreensão mais profunda e eficaz dos sistemas corporais pelos estudantes surdos. Através de aulas experienciais, atividades de pesquisa e confecção de um livro ilustrado, busca-se proporcionar uma aprendizagem mais eficaz e inclusiva, respeitando as identidades linguísticas e culturais dos alunos. Espera-se contribuir para o avanço da educação bilíngue de surdos e promover práticas pedagógicas mais equitativas, valorizando a diversidade linguística e cultural.

Objetivou-se identificar o que emerge de vídeos que abordam a Educação Financeira na Educação Matemática, por meio do que é propagado em canais do YouTube. Para a caracterização dos vídeos, utilizou-se a ferramenta YouTube Data Tools, baseada no API do YouTube. Foi analisado os metadados e as transcrições dos vídeos mais relevantes nesta temática. Constatou-se que, aproximadamente, 42% dos vídeos pertenciam à categoria educação, associados a canais de universidades. Verificou-se um entrelaçamento entre professor e Educação Financeira, com discussões numa perspectiva de formação crítica. Além disso, identificou-se que, entre as potencialidades da Educação Financeira para a sociedade, estão: auxílio da tomada de decisão; consumo consciente; gerenciamento e planejamento adequado das finanças; e melhoria na qualidade de vida.

Neste artigo, foi conduzida uma pesquisa para investigar o uso da gamificação como recurso pedagógico no ensino da matemática. A gamificação consiste em incorporar elementos de jogos, como desafios e competição, na estrutura do plano de aula. Dessa forma, os recursos utilizados na gamificação são adaptados para o ensino da matemática, com o objetivo de atrair a atenção e o foco dos estudantes. Essa abordagem se baseia no fato de que crianças e jovens tendem a ter uma aproximação prazerosa com os ambientes dos gemes, o que pode facilitar o processo de aprendizagem, uma abordagem promissora no ensino da matemática, pois aproveita a familiaridade e o interesse dos estudantes por jogos e ambientes virtuais para engajá-los no processo de aprendizagem. Os resultados comparam dois contextos de aulas diferentes, um com a aplicação da gamificação na estrutura do plano de aula, e outro com uma simples revisão dos conteúdos, no qual foi possível perceber que o uso da gamificação apresentaram melhores resultados na maioria da questões aplicadas com estudantes dos dois grupos analisados.

O presente artigo objetiva compreender a relação entre a formação profissional em enfermagem e o corpo, atentando para o modo como as práticas das(os) enfermeiras(os) integram um processo de aprendizado no qual o corpo é o elemento central. Para tal, realizamos uma etnografia com estudantes e professores da faculdade de enfermagem de uma universidade pública mineira. O estudo permitiu que compreendêssemos como a formação em enfermagem envolvia um processo de aquisição de posturas, gestos e movimentos específicos, cujo aprendizado se concretizava de modo efetivo através do engajamento prático das estudantes nos ambientes de cuidado e do constante treinamento das práticas características da profissão. As estudantes eram guiadas pelas professoras que, com corpos já dotados destas habilidades, eram as responsáveis pela condução e pela estruturação de um ambiente físico, guiando-os na atenção à postura e no controle dos gestos e movimentos.

O objetivo desta investigação foi analisar pesquisas publicadas no período de 2014 a 2018 no Brasil, que abordam a prática da argumentação na escola básica, levantadas no catálogo de teses e dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, com a finalidade de sintetizar ideias, investigar contribuições, classificar, encontrar similaridades e divergências entre os estudos. A pesquisa é de cunho qualitativo, norteada pelas diretrizes para leitura, análise e interpretação de textos em função da metanálise, com enfoque nos resumos encontrados. Os resultados indicam duas tendências de abordagem: a busca por relacionar a argumentação ao pensamento formal da matemática, e a argumentação como difusora de comunicação em sala de aula, sem necessariamente ter como fim o discurso formal da matemática, além da necessidade de mais estudos sobre a abordagem da argumentação no ensino e na aprendizagem de matemática.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo examinar as evidências existentes sobre a incidência dos métodos no desempenho acadêmico de alunos na aprendizagem de matemática. A partir do desenho metodológico, este estudo se baseia em uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre estudos relacionados aos métodos para a aprendizagem da matemática onde os artigos são identificados, categorizados e analisados, apontando suas características e sintetizando os principais tópicos de pesquisa e seu conteúdo. Para isso, a base de dados consultada foi Scopus por seu grande reconhecimento internacional onde foram selecionados um total de seis artigos científicos correspondentes aos anos 2014-2019 cujos conteúdos versavam sobre métodos de aprendizagem em relação ao desempenho acadêmico nas matemáticas. Os resultados mostram diferentes aspectos como a autoria dos artigos, os periódicos onde foram publicados, o tipo de pesquisa, as técnicas de coleta de dados utilizadas e os tópicos de pesquisa inerentes às técnicas implementadas no processo de aprendizagem da matemática. Além disso, se realizou uma análise focada no conteúdo de 5 tópicos identificados: a implementação dos métodos de aprendizagem, competência geradas pelos métodos de aprendizagem, a utilização de recursos tecnológicos no processo de aprendizagem, o contexto onde são utilizados os métodos de aprendizagem e, finalmente, a influência dos métodos de aprendizagem no desempenho acadêmico dos alunos na matemática.

Higher education in health has been undergoing changes in the area of knowledge, incorporating teaching strategies focused on the student, as indicated by the National Curricular Guidelines. Active Learning Methods may have the potential to promote coordination between universities and health services, favoring a sense of social responsibility and commitment to citizenship to promote integral human health. Objective To analyze teachers' understanding of the possibilities for developing Active Learning Methods in Nursing Undergraduate courses in the evening period. Method Qualitative and field research, with 21 professors of the Nursing Courses in the evening period of the two Institutions, through semi-structured interviews. The data were interpreted using the Content Analysis technique, in the Thematic modality, developed in three stages: Pre-analysis, Exploration of the material and Treatment of results, inference and interpretation. Results From the analysis of the data obtained, four thematic categories were structured: 1-Student-centered learning- Problem-Based Learning; Student protagonism; Teacher as facilitator and mediator of the teaching and learning process2- Factors that enable Active Learning at night - Initial leveling and appreciation of students' prior knowledge; Teacher Training; Use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies; Review of the PPC according to the DCN; Infrastructure, 3- Factors that hinder Active Learning at night- Traditional teacher training; Large number of students to carry out visits, internships for observation and correlation of theory with practice; Difficulties of teachers and students and 4- Suggestions for developing Active Learning Methods at night - Problematization; Flipped classroom; TBL; Simulation; Interdisciplinarity. Final considerations The different strategies described for training indicated their possibilities in teaching nursing at night and demonstrated that teachers are moving towards understanding and developing Active Learning. The teaching of human macroscopic anatomy (hma) has traditionally been relevant for the training of health professionals, as it is a science that allows for understanding the functioning of the human body and, therefore, is necessary for adequate clinical practice. However, the training processes have not comprehensively addressed teaching, learning, and assessment, which hinders the understanding of anatomy and compromises the suitability of future health professionals' training. This research article describes the teaching, learning, and assessment processes in a Human Macroscopic Anatomy I course within a Medicine and Surgery program in Cali, Colombia, from the theoretical perspective of pedagogical content knowledge. A four-phase case study was conducted using participant observation, field notes, and semi-structured interviews as techniques. The participants included ninety second-semester students and two fourth-semester students from the Medicine and Surgery academic program, as well as four hma area professors. It was found that teaching is conceived as the transmission of knowledge, while learning falls on the student, who must autonomously grasp the main ideas of hma. The assessment is mainly oriented towards grading. The teaching experience revealed a lack of understanding of how students learn the main ideas of hma and how teaching and assessment could be integrated to support this learning. Objective: To base bio-learning on community experiences in a rural territory of Colombia. Methodology: A socio-critical paradigm, qualitative approach, and Critical Participatory Action Research (CPAR) method. Instruments were a sociodemographic survey, focal groups, semi-structured individual interviews and learning experiences. The instruments were supported by the sociodemographic sheet, focal groups and interview scripts, planning of learning experiences, and observation sheets. The work unit was 51 community families, six teachers, 29 students, six community-linked external agents and one research professor for a total of 195 participants. Results: In Cycle I Problematization, the disconnection of the school from the community was recognized due to the lack of recognition of ancestral local knowledge from the culture, customs, and traditions of the community. Cycle II Communitization was implemented to enable the solution of those problems. It was based on three learning experiences related to coffee as the main product of the rural territory. As a result, community-related processes such as the construction of peasant and school knowledge supported by processes of community bio-learning were found to provide an ideographic vision of communitization. The community is constructed in a shared pedagogical environment in which bio-community learners interact as part of a bio-learning community to solve the needs of communitization and project bio-learning. Conclusions: Customs have not passed from generation to generation; neither daily life activities nor the value of bio-learning are being exploited. The learning spaces can be found in everyday life, in nature, or in the rural territory itself; hence, the importance of learning experiences from community participation-based bio-learning. The bio-learning community is recognized as supported by community training processes in, from, and for life. It takes the indigenous, cultural, customs, what is shared from the territory, and what has been referred to as the community spirit of bio-learning as its starting point. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Population aging brings forth various social demands and entails comprehensive changes in social and psychological aspects. To comprehend the complexity of aging, an interdisciplinary approach is necessary. In this context, this study aims to explore issues related to the aging process, its trends, and alternatives to promote individual and collective health, with a particular focus on the psychological aspects of aging, in conjunction with gerontological knowledge. Understanding the common transformations that occur in aging, such as affective issues, emotional regulation, and self-regulation influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors, such as functional decline and the presence or absence of a support network, is essential. In this regard, psychological interventions, such as those based on education and learning, play an important role in maintaining and protecting the quality of life during aging, promoting secondary protective factors such as strengthening and creating support networks, self-esteem, and autonomy. Brazilian university students show interest and engage in entrepreneurial activities, but little is known about the nature, outcomes, and challenges of their ventures. Most studies in the field are predominantly quantitative and do not unveil the details of the entrepreneurial process. This research aimed to understand how the entrepreneurial process unfolded among students in the Administration program at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). A qualitative and descriptive approach was employed in this study with four Administration students from UFMG. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analyzed using the Organizational Learning 4i Model. As a result, it was possible to observe that all the entrepreneurs in question engaged in entrepreneurship opportunistically, having never undertaken entrepreneurial activities before. However, they were exposed to entrepreneurship within their families and sought training along their journey. Their businesses had at least two founders, operated in the service sector, were financially independent from public and private organizations, generated revenue for at least one year, and most had late or no formalization. This study fulfilled the role of elucidating details and nuances of entrepreneurial initiatives among the students of Administration at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, by revealing a series of common and divergent characteristics among the processes, entrepreneurs, and companies in question. It also facilitated the understanding of these initiatives and can serve as a source of information for the development of future actions to encourage entrepreneurship. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Este artigo investiga a eficácia dos mapas mentais colaborativos como ferramenta de ensino e aprendizagem na disciplina de Tecnologias Aplicadas ao Ensino da Matemática II. A pesquisa, realizada com estudantes de licenciatura em Matemática, utiliza uma metodologia mista, combinando análises qualitativas e quantitativas. A geração de dados foi realizada por meio de um questionário e observações do professor. Os resultados encontrados destacam que os mapas mentais colaborativos melhoram a organização, a retenção de informações e a motivação dos estudantes. Além disso, promovem a aprendizagem colaborativa e o desenvolvimento de habilidades críticas, como criatividade e pensamento crítico. Apesar dos desafios relacionados à clareza e à organização, a ferramenta se mostra eficaz no ensino e na aprendizagem, oferecendo uma abordagem inovadora para o ensino superior. Conclui-se que os mapas mentais colaborativos não só tornaram eficazes o ensino e a aprendizagem, mas também promoveram um ambiente de ensino mais interativo e colaborativo.
