Active breaks can be a reference framework for promoting physical activity at schools, hence the important of ascertaining which variables can promote or hinder their implementation. The goal was to analyse the relationship between the perceived barriers and teacher beliefs and benefits of implementing active breaks by analysing the mediating role of the teachers' physical activity. Method: 109 teachers participated (70.6% females; Mage = 38.59, SD = 11.08). An ad hoc questionnaire on active breaks and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire were used for the teachers' physical activity. Results: low level of perceived barriers to active breaks increased beliefs and benefits for their implementation in the classroom. Conclusions: this study shows that teachers' physical activity was not a variable that determined the implementation of active breaks in the classroom. Therefore, other personal and/or contextual factors related to the adoption and implementation of active breaks should be explored. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

La presente investigación se enfoca en la educación en línea inclusiva y accesible, realizando una revisión sistemática de la literatura científica con el objetivo de identificar las mejores prácticas y estrategias que puedan ser adaptadas al contexto educativo de Perú. Se busca crear un marco referencial que aporte criterios claros para la implementación efectiva de políticas y herramientas que fomenten la inclusión en entornos de aprendizaje virtual. A través de la caracterización del estado actual de la educación en línea, esta revisión destaca no solo los logros alcanzados, sino también las áreas que requieren atención y mejora. Entre los beneficios identificados, se encuentran la mejora en habilidades cognitivas y emocionales de los estudiantes, gracias a la personalización y la utilización de tecnologías adaptativas. Sin embargo, también se han señalado desafíos significativos, como el acoso cibernético, la falta de adaptaciones adecuadas para estudiantes con necesidades especiales y la desigualdad en el acceso a recursos tecnológicos. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo contribuir al desarrollo de un sistema educativo más equitativo y accesible, promoviendo la participación activa de todos los actores involucrados en el proceso educativo y garantizando una experiencia de aprendizaje satisfactoria para cada estudiante.

The research objective was to determine the incidence of edaphic fertilization on the physical and organoleptic quality of Sarchimor 4260 coffee (Coffea arabica L.) in three different processing methods; wet (BH), dry (BS) and semi-humid (SH). A randomized complete block design was applied with a factorial arrangement of 32 with three replications, where the factors under study were a) mycorrhizal fertilizers (M), humus (H) and urea (U), and b) the beneficiation methods. The results determined that in the variables length, diameter and thickness of the fruit, all treatments were equal; regarding the percentage of empty kernels, T5 (H BS) was the best performing with 3%; in terms of snail kernels, the highest percentage was recorded by the treatment T6 (H SH) with 13.5%. The granulometric analysis determined statistical differences between treatments only in sieve 14, where treatments T5 (H BS) and T1 (MBH), reached the highest percentage; while T6 (H-SH) was the lowest in sieve 15; the best performance is T2: (M BS) and sieve 17 the best is T8 (U BS). The evaluation of fruit characteristics such as fruit color and shape, disk shape and presence of limbo in the calyx, did not present significant statistical differences, and the sensory tests determined that the best cup score was obtained in the sample of T6 (H - SH) with 82.75 points, corresponding to the wet benefit. Los beneficios crean valor positivo en los proyectos. Sin embargo, no se materializan porque los directores lo perciben como poco claros. Como respuesta se plantearon marcos de clasificación. Sin embargo, estos son inconsistentes. Este estudio tiene por objetivo sugerir un marco de clasificación de beneficios de proyectos de construcción para apoyar su gestión. Los datos se obtuvieron en 2 etapas, el primero se recogió de 19 entrevistas a directores ejecutivos y la segunda se recogió de 121 proyectos reales. Los resultados sugieren 11 grupos de beneficios; de estos 8 grupos corresponde para la organización propietaria (retorno de la inversión, ahorro de costos, mejora de la productividad, reducción de riesgos, mejora de la calidad, aprendizaje continuo, imagen organizacional y cultura de cumplimiento) y 3 grupos para el público en general (apoyo a la economía, bienestar social y protección ambiental). La clasificación sugerida puede mejorar la gestión de los beneficios de proyectos.

Os estudos sobre gestão por competências no setor público vêm avançando, mas existe uma lacuna de investigações de experiências na esfera de governo estadual. Em função disto, o objetivo do artigo é descrever o estado atual das experiências das Secretarias Estaduais / Distritais Brasileiras no mapeamento de competências profissionais, destacando os principais motivadores, ações realizadas, modelos adotados, e fatores que influenciam o processo, além dos benefícios observados. Trata-se de pesquisa teórico-empírica, descritiva, com recorte transversal e abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Foram aplicados questionários eletrônicos em amostra de 115 participantes de Secretarias Estaduais de 26 Estados Brasileiros. Os principais resultados foram: 69,9% não possui mapeamento de competências, principalmente pelo desconhecimento de metodologias na temática. Das que adotam, foram motivadas principalmente pela busca de melhorias na gestão de pessoas; a maioria possui nome e descrição de competência. Os principais facilitadores foram apoio da alta administração e alinhamento à estratégia; e os dificultadores foram a falta de equipe para conduzir o processo e falta de engajamento das pessoas. Os principais benefícios estão associados a possibilidade de desenvolver os profissionais às necessidades do trabalho para melhoria da prestação do serviço público.

Purpose: Analyze if the perceived benefits of digital marketing strategies have an effect on the intention of their prolonged use and explore if the formality is a variable that conditions such relationship. Methodology: quantitative with explanatory scope through 67 owners and managers of these business units (39 formal and 28 informal) were surveyed face to face. A statistical regression analysis with moderation was performed with the collected information. Results: prove the perception of the multiple benefits of digital marketing strategies for micro businesses and its positive effect on the intention to use and acquire greater efforts; still, the moderation of the formality variable was not significant. Limitations: The sample size due to the reluctance of the managers of the micro businesses to respond to the survey. Conclusions: The perceived economic benefits are higher in formal micro businesses. The formality encourages the use of this type of strategy more than the informal counterpart. Still, the formality is not a condition for receiving the benefits and adopting digital marketing strategies in the future for either of the two types of micro-businesses in this sector, opening new lines of research in this regard. Co-produced education is an undiscovered field, mainly regarding its benefits and challenges, therefore, the present study aimed to analyze the effects of co-production in the public educational service. To this end, documentary research, semi-structured interviews and observations were carried out in two state schools in Paraíba. For analysis, the Framework of the Effects of Coproduction in Education, by Costa and Caldas (2023), was used. As a result, co-production was found to manifest itself more emphatically in the technical integral citizen school, highlighting the category of potential desirable effects for students and management. RESUMEN Este trabajo sostiene que en el estoicismo la física depende epistemológicamente de la ética, pues las tesis teológicas sobre que los dioses son benéficos y cuidan de los seres humanos (las cuales son parte de la física) dependen, para ser sostenidas o establecidas con contundencia, del conocimiento del ámbito ético de la filosofía estoica. Es posible apreciar esta dependencia en la respuesta que los estoicos darían a las críticas que otras escuelas filosóficas formulan hacia algunas de las tesis teológicas estoicas. No es una cuestión menor si hay este tipo de dependencia. En ella radica el que haya, o no, relaciones fundacionales entre la ética y la física, cuestión que está en boga en los estudios contemporáneos sobre el estoicismo. La propuesta de este artículo contribuye a sostener que no las hay.

A raíz de la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19 muchas empresas se vieron obligadas a enviar a su personal a trabajar desde casa y a proveer las condiciones e infraestructura mínimas adecuadas. El ambiente de aislamiento tiene efectos negativos como el estrés, la preferencia por el trabajo en oficina tradicional y la afectación a las relaciones interpersonales. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la percepción ante el teletrabajo por parte de los trabajadores de distintos sectores empresariales al adoptar la modalidad de trabajo desde casa a partir de contingencia por COVID-19. Se llevó a cabo una investigación mixta con diseño no experimental, longitudinal mediante la aplicación de encuestas. El instrumento mide con una confiabilidad del 95%, la percepción de los trabajadores sobre la flexibilidad, retos, beneficios y preferencias respecto al teletrabajo. Los resultados muestran las actitudes respecto al teletrabajo en cuatro dimensiones: flexibilidad, beneficios, retos y preferencia laboral. Se muestran los resultados de las variables sociodemográficas (puesto, antigüedad, estado civil, nivel de desempeño). La implicación principal de este estudio es el apoyo a las empresas para definir mejor sus estrategias futuras sobre la modalidad del trabajo más adecuada a los niveles de productividad deseados, así como las preferencias y rendimiento del personal.

This study examined the impact of media education for elderly care programs in China on the well-being and quality of life of elderly population. This study investigated how media education turned older population in techno-savvy and improved the well-being and quality of life of the elderly population. The objectives of the study were to bring forth the role played by media awareness of social media, to examine the challenges associated with it, and to recommend efficient strategies to promote the engagement of older adults in media education of social media and usage of media gadgets that helps them to be techno-savvy and improve their well-being. The qualitative methodology was used and data was collected through semi-structured interviews from a sample of 8 informants comprising caretakers working at Chinese old age homes and senior community centers. Following a thematic analysis, it was revealed that media education in elderly care programs potentially benefits older by improving their self-efficacy, social connectedness, and overall well-being. It was also found that media awareness of older adults significantly assisted them to be techno-savvy and enhanced high-quality life in them. Limited equipment, unwillingness, and inefficient technological knowledge were some significant challenges that hindered the proper integration of media education in elderly care programs. It was recommended that training sessions, workshops, and proper allocation of resources should be enhanced to get the potential benefits of media education for older adults. These outcomes have significant contributions for policy-makers and practitioners of old-age institutions. El propósito fundamental de este trabajo es examinar la Norma Internacional de Contabilidad (NIC) 19 y sus con- secuencias contables y tributarias respecto a los beneficios post-empleo. Con ello se busca abordar la baja cata- logación de investigaciones científicas hasta ahora realizadas sobre las medidas laborales y tributarias relacionadas con estos beneficios. Su aplicación en Ecuador bajo las Normas Internacionales de Información Financiera (NIIF) es obligatoria según la Resolución n.o 08.G.DSC.010 de la Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros (SCVS). Para el estudio, se utilizó un método deductivo no experimental de tipo documental y descriptivo, con enfoque mixto que integra elementos cualitativos y cuantitativos en un estudio de corte transversal. Los resultados han de- terminado la existencia de una correlación significativa entre las provisiones de jubilación patronal, desahucio y la determinación del impuesto causado. Se concluyó que la adopción de las NIIF exige la obligatoriedad de reflejar en el estado de situación financiera los beneficios post-empleo, empero no todas las empresas analizadas revelan esta información, por tanto, esta investigación contribuye teóricamente y proporciona información valiosa para aquellos interesados en comprender este ámbito.

Introducción. Aunque existen grandes avances en el tratamiento de la epidemia del VIH, el diagnóstico a tiempo y la cobertura del tratamiento siguen siendo cruciales para afrontar este problema de salud pública. Las pruebas son esenciales para garantizar un diagnóstico precoz y una derivación adecuada. Objetivo. Determinar la relación de la actitudes, beneficios y barreras hacia la realización de la prueba rápida de VIH en mujeres amas de casa. Materiales y métodos. Estudio cuantitativo, no experimental, descriptivo en 112 mujeres, mayores de 18 años y amas de casa, se utilizó la Escala de actitudes hacia el HIV/sida y la Escala de Pros y Contras hacia la prueba de VIH, el estudio se basó en lo establecido en normatividad mexicana que estable los criterios básicos que toda investigación en seres humanos. Resultados. Se encontraron actitudes positivas hacia la prueba y en función de los pros hacia la prueba de detección de VIH se obtuvo un promedio de 37.33 (DE=2.96, 28-40). Conclusión. Se concluye que los participantes no dependen de lo que perciben y saben, el grupo estudiado, indicaron estar con parejas estables y la realización de las pruebas rápidas para detectar el VIH no son frecuentes, ya que consideran estar fuera de peligro.

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar el nivel de impacto de los incentivos tributarios de las PYMES ubicadas en el sector manufacturero del cantón Ambato, considerando los incentivos tributarios han sido utilizados tradicionalmente por los gobiernos como herramientas para promover un objetivo económico particular, además son tratamientos preferenciales que se ofrecen a un grupo seleccionado de contribuyentes y toman la forma de exenciones, moratorias fiscales, créditos, desgravaciones a la inversión, tasas impositivas preferenciales, aranceles de importación y aplazamiento de la obligación tributaria. En la metodología se aplicó un enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, de tipo descriptivo, correlacional y un análisis longitudinal. La muestra estuvo conformada por 72 Pymes pertenecientes al sector manufacturero del cantón Ambato dentro del periodo 2015-2020. Y como resultado se evidenció un alto desarrollo de las actividades manufactureras en el cantón, contrastando que los incentivos tributarios tuvieron un efecto positivo en la rentabilidad de las empresas.

La metodología sistemática en educación superior es un enfoque organizado y riguroso que guía la planificación, diseño, implementación y evaluación de procesos educativos, buscando optimizar la efectividad y eficiencia en ese contexto. Esta investigación se propuso analizar los beneficios y desafíos de esta metodología mediante un enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo. Se realizó una búsqueda exhaustiva de documentos pertinentes utilizando términos clave específicos y criterios de selección rigurosos. Los resultados enfatizan la importancia de definir con precisión el término “revisión sistemática” y diferenciarlo de las revisiones narrativas. Se subraya la relevancia de un enfoque metodológico riguroso, para garantizar la coherencia y calidad en la revisión, compuesto por nueve fases, desde la formulación de la pregunta hasta la comunicación de las conclusiones. Aunque las revisiones sistemáticas aportan beneficios significativos a la investigación y práctica educativa, se identifican desafíos como la necesidad de búsquedas exhaustivas y la gestión de la heterogeneidad de estudios. Se concluye destacando la importancia de la metodología sistemática en educación superior y haciendo énfasis en la necesidad de abordar los desafíos identificados para aprovechar su potencial tanto en investigación como en la toma de decisiones en este campo.

Introducción: son indiscutibles los beneficios que aporta la lactancia materna, tanto para la madre como para el hijo, desde el punto de vista inmunológico, nutritivo y afectivo. Además de proporcionar los nutrientes entre ellos vitaminas, minerales y grasas esenciales, fortalece el sistema inmunológico, promueve un fuerte vínculo emocional entre madre e hijo y favorece el desarrollo bucofacial del bebé. Objetivo: describir la relación que existe entre la lactancia materna y el desarrollo bucodental del recién nacido. Método: se realizó́ una revisión bibliográfica y se determinaron para la selección de los artículos criterios inclusión y exclusión. La búsqueda se realzó en Google Schoolar, PubMed, Scielo y MEDLINE. La información analizada se estructuró en dos subapartados: los beneficios generales de la lactancia materna y otro dedicado a los beneficios en el desarrollo bucodental del infante. Resultados: los estudios considerados fueron un total de 11, se clasificaron en dos de investigación y nueve revisiones sistemáticas. Se sugiere que la lactancia materna sea exclusiva hasta los seis meses de edad y se continúe complementando con alimentos sólidos adecuados hasta los dos años de edad. Ofrece una serie de beneficios para el recién nacido en varios aspectos de su desarrollo bucodental, incluyendo la salud y desarrollo del hueso alveolar, musculatura y a la hora de evitar maloclusiones. Conclusiones: la lactancia materna favorece la maduración y desarrollo de los músculos faciales y masticatorios, así como un correcto posicionamiento del maxilar superior y mandíbula, que contribuirá a la correcta formación del sistema estomatognático y la oclusión.

La migración venezolana se ha configurado como un gran movimiento en los últimos años, siendo Colombia el país con más índice de venezolanos. Bajo este contexto, se inició un plan de regularización migratoria, ofreciendo una alternativa, como eje de política inclusiva, decretando el Registro Único de Migrantes Venezolanos, iniciando en mayo de 2021 hasta mayo de 2022, para personas en condición irregular, y hasta mayo 2023 los regulares. No obstante, para diciembre de 2021, solo se había registrado un 60% de la población esperada, afectando el cumplimiento de la estrategia del Estado colombiano. En virtud de ello, este estudio se orientó a identificar las barreras percibidas por migrantes venezolanos en el proceso de regularización en Colombia. Sustentada en una investigación descriptiva, no experimental, de campo, la población de 250 migrantes, quienes respondieron a un cuestionario con 19 items. Los resultados indican que las barreras son la plataforma tecnológica, desconocimiento del uso de computadores, bajo nivel educativo, condiciones económicas, poca información del proceso, haciéndose necesario establecer estrategias de atencion personalizada, visitar las comunidades, hacer divulgación y socialización del estatuto y sus beneficios, crear campañas para ayudarles a hacer el registro digital, así como facilitar el acceso a esta medida de regularización.

El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar las características del ejercicio físico dirigido de manera virtual y los beneficios percibidos por mujeres chilenas. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal, mediante un cuestionario autoinformado sobre caracterización y percepción de sus beneficios. La muestra estuvo conformada por mujeres chilenas residentes en las regiones de Antofagasta, Valparaíso, Metropolitana y Bío-bío que practicaron ejercicio físico dirigido de manera virtual durante 2020 o 2021. Los principales resultados muestran que las mujeres practican ejercicio físico dirigido de manera virtual por conveniencia del horario (55.0%) y principalmente para mejorar su salud (47.7%). El entrenamiento con mayor aceptación es el entrenamiento interválico de alta intensidad (42.3%), realizado en su mayoría a través de la plataforma Zoom (64.9%). La mayoría de las mujeres encuestadas percibe una reducción en la circunferencia de la cintura (57.7%), beneficios en el estado de ánimo (72.1%), mejora en la calidad del sueño (59.5%) y en el funcionamiento general del cuerpo (64.0%). En conclusión, nuestros resultados muestran que el ejercicio físico dirigido de manera virtual es una alternativa efectiva para obtener beneficios para la salud e informan sobre las características del ejercicio físico preferido por las mujeres chilenas. The objective of this study was to determine the characteristics of physical exercise developed with virtual guidance and the benefits perceived by Chilean women. A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out, using a self-reported questionnaire on the characterization and perception of its benefits. The sample consisted of Chilean women residing in the Antofagasta, Valparaíso, Metropolitan and Bío-bío regions who practiced physical exercise with virtual guidance during 2020 and 2021. The main results show that women practice physical exercise with virtual guidance due to the convenience of time (55.0%) and mainly to improve their health (47.7%). The training with the greatest acceptance is high-intensity interval training (42.3%), carried out mostly through the Zoom platform (64.9%). Most of the women surveyed perceive a reduction in waist circumference (57.7%), benefits in mood (72.1%), improvement in sleep quality (59.5%) and in the general functioning of the body (64.0%). In conclusion, our results show that physical exercise with virtual guidance is an effective alternative to obtain health benefits and inform about the characteristics of the physical exercise preferred by Chilean women. Introduction: Telehealth in times of pandemic became an alternative for patient care due to social confinement measures and was used both in primary care and in the different medical specialties, with satisfaction levels similar to face-to-face consultation. Objectives: to evaluate the quality of telehealth care in the context of a pandemic and to determine the benefits and barriers that hinder this type of care. Methods: through a systematic process, we accessed documents from different databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, SciELO, Google academic and Proquest in the period between 2018 and 2022, in English and Spanish, open access and descriptive type research; the descriptors quality of care, quality, telehealth and satisfaction were used. Their quality was assessed, their results were analyzed and their contributions were critically systematized. Conclusions: there are no differences between the quality of telehealth care and traditional care, its main benefits lie in access to care and cost reduction, and its barriers are the problems of technological gaps and the lack of training of health personnel in its use. The objective of the study was to reveal the conceptions that guide and give meaning to the communication process between families and the school. The single case study method was used. The sample was made up of 14 informants belonging to a basic school in Chillán. There were four categories analyzed: Importance of the communicative relationship, process, strategies and communication barriers. The instrument applied was the semi-structured interview. Among the main findings, we can affirm that a good communicative relationship is fundamental, since it brings with it multiple academic and formative benefits for students, while recognizing the need for a mutual commitment between families-school that generates ties of participation, reflection of a joint work in post of the integral development of boys and girls. Objective: to explore the determining factors that influence the adoption process of the Amazon Mexico platform by three Mexican small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as its impact on the growth, development and benefits obtained by these companies. Methodology: A qualitative methodology with an exploratory and descriptive scope was used, with the application of semi-structured interviews. Results: The study revealed that the adoption of Amazon's platform by three Mexican SMEs, has several facilitators, which have a significantly positive impact in terms of benefits, growth, and development. Limitations: Individual perceptions and experiences of Mexican SMEs could be subjective and vary widely, which could make it difficult to generalize the results. Purpose: Are men more inclined to assume risks than women? The answer to this question is immediately relevant to various economic issues, including human behavior concerning medical remedies and procedures consumption. This paper aims to identify the perceived benefits of the consumption of medications centered on pharmaceutical risk assessment. Originality/value: The literature documents that risks and benefits can be considered the main trade-offs in consumer decision-making, including the pharmaceutical industry. It is a current theme with a high potential for social impact due to the many identified cases of Covid-19. In developing countries, most medication is used by self-medicating individuals, as access to health care can be insufficient. Self-medication is a potentially greater problem, as in this case, medication usage often follows advice from friends, relatives, and neighbors. Yet, there is little empirical evidence regarding this problem in the context of emerging countries. Design/methodology/approach: A survey of over 1,000 subjects using an extended regression model (ERM) in one of the biggest countries in the world, Brazil. Findings: The results reported that women perceive more risks and benefits from medication usage and medical procedures. The perception of the benefits of medications can be explained by the following dimensions: risk (personal injury, risk alertness, and risk awareness), gender, regular usage, and the benefits of medical procedures. Regarding risk dimensions, the lower the perceptions of personal injury and the higher the perceptions of risk alertness and risk awareness, the greater the perceived benefits of medication usage. O trabalho intitulado “aprendizagem cooperativa: Uma experiência com estudantes Universitários” alicerça-se na aplicação da aprendizagem cooperativa como uma metodologia educativa inovadora, com potencial para mudar as práticas nas Universidades Moçambicanas. Um dos maiores desafios colocados ao sistema educativo actual é contribuir para uma sociedade mais justa, onde todos os estudantes tenham acesso à educação e que esta contribua para a sua formação integral. Esta pesquisa foi desenvolvida com estudantes do curso de Licenciatura em Ensino de Química. A pesquisa teve como objectivo perceber quais as percepções que os estudantes universitários têm sobre o uso da aprendizagem cooperativa e quais os benefícios que podem advir dela. A metodológica usada foi a pesquisa-acção que utilizou como instrumentos de recolha de dados o inquérito e o diário de aprendizagem. Os resultados obtidos confirmam a aquisição de competências sociais e melhoria no aproveitamento pedagógico como benefícios associados a aprendizagem cooperativa.

La estabilidad económica y alimentaria de los países, depende en gran parte de su sector primario. En México la gran diversidad de microclimas distribuidos en todo el territorio nacional hace que podamos producir gran variedad de alimentos, pues las características apropiadas para cultivos con alta resistencia a la falta de agua (Gobierno de México, 2023). El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar los beneficios contables y fiscales en el régimen de las Actividades Agrícolas, ganaderas, silvícolas y pesqueras aplicables a las personas físicas y morales. Es importante mencionar que los empresarios que tributen en este régimen conozcan las obligaciones que le corresponden presentar, así como también las nuevas disposiciones fiscales su época y periodo de presentación.

This article presents a study on the determinants of working motivation and loyalty of workers in enterprises in Dong Nai province. The study used a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including group discussions and a quantitative analysis of 1000 enterprises. The findings contribute to understanding the factors that affect work motivation and loyalty in this region, providing a reference for academic studies and human resource management. The research results can be used by business leaders in Dong Nai province to propose policies that improve employees' work motivation and loyalty.
