Ethnomodelling can be considered as the association between ethnomathematics and mathematical modelling that enables members of distinct cultural groups to perceive a different reality in relation to the nature of mathematical knowledge. It also provides insights into many diverse forms of mathematics developed locally. Thus, ethnomodelling is defined as the study of mathematical phenomena that adds cultural components to the modelling process. The development of this connection is conducted through three cultural approaches: local, global, and glocal, which are used in the conduction of ethnomodelling investigations that aim to work against colonialism in order to value and respect sociocultural diversity of members of distinct cultural groups. Because ethnomodelling seeks to promote the development of understanding of differences through dialogue; it is important to argue for its inclusion as a translational process for systems taken from the reality of the members of diverse cultures. In this article we argue that ethnomodelling creates a firm foundation that allows for the integration of these three cultural approaches in exploring mathematical knowledge developed in distinct cultural groups through cultural dynamism. As everything is aff ected by the time, the carpet tradition is subjected to cultural dynamism, continuity, discontinuity, accommodation or revitalization. The proposed approach aims at revealing the impact of cultural dynamism on the evolution of carpet tradition. The concept of tradition is presented from the perspective of the latest scientifi c and specialized sources. The article outlines the stages of romanian carpets, highlighting their particularities, as well as the actions of continuity of tradition transposed through various cultural manifestations: festivals, fairs, exhibitions, practical workshops attended by the whole community. Therefore, these actions become methods of raising awareness and awareness of the role of carpets in promoting national and cultural identity.

ART & religion , *METAPHYSICAL cosmology - Abstract
Sculptures, paintings, drawings, performances, and films have often refashioned narratives of the origins of the cosmos and of human beings. The essays collected in Creation Myths and the Visual Arts investigate the interplay between image and narrative and offer critical approaches from literary studies, the history of art, archaeology, and anthropology on the interpretation and categorization of verbal and visual representations of “creation myths” from all over the world. The defcit of services in rural areas is a well-known constant to the cultural sector is not foreign. This creates a city-town grievance that favours the depopulaton of rural areas. The proposal laid out here aims to demonstrate the relevance of a bus-enabled library service (i.e., ¿"book mobile") that solves the library needs of the province of Alicante, specifcally those of municipalites with fewer inhabitants in the North zone. For this purpose, apart from the existng bibliography, the model of the bus-enabled library service (i.e., book mobile) of the Diputació de Barcelona has also been used here, . This has been studied for a week during the in-person training sessions ofered by the Library Cooperaton Council.

In Mali, a country almost perceived and praised by its promoters as an authentic land where tourism is predominantly cultural and travelers are willing to meet local people and interact with them, what MacCannell wrote about the tourist gets its whole significance. But can the travelers really live such an experience? For several reasons (not always linked to language), it needs intermediaries scarcely studied by tourism specialists. In this paper I aim to throw light upon how the touristic guides deal with their customers' search of authenticity. Firstly I shall call to mind the dual nature of authenticity, which Selwyn calls "cool" or "hot". While examining how the guides manage to respond to that double search, I shall seek to show their behavior is not as insincere as it seems. If they succeed in setting in with their customers a brotherhood than can be extended to all the villagers, it is rather by their knowledge and their cleverness to adapt to the tourists' purpose than by presenting arranged scenarios. Then I intend to regard authenticity from a Malian point of view. Previous to tourism, the emergency of that concept incited the cultural and touristic ministries to join into the same designs and the same events. Such a merger calls into question the idea of a counterfeit authenticity merely staged to feed the foreigners' desires while increasing cultural dynamism. Just as development brokers, the guides may become social and cultural agents of modern Mali, contributing with a politico-intellectual active elite to the current attempts to reconstruct identities. I shall examine the relationships existing between the guides and their customers, which are deeply ambiguous. The discriminatory treatment of colonized people by colonists seems nowadays to be reproduced in the one of the ex-colonists by the ex-colonized. As the heir of violent and oppressive colonial circumstances, that paradox interferes in the touristic contacts, thus revealed more authentic that they seem to be.

Mestrado em Arquitectura Paisagista - Instituto Superior de Agronomia This paper analyzes the methods that contribute to the enhancement of cultural heritage in urban centers, both through a literature review of the principles of urbanism, as through examples in which cultural cores served to boost the urban recovery. The way these nuclei may contribute to urban development through its development and promotion, was tentatively applied to the village of Alcochete. The methods to implement this study were chosen after an analysis of several urban theories that showed us how cities evolved and have related their memories and their cultural identity. It was found that to achieve the success of cultural cores are useful multidisciplinary approaches around the cultural perspective within the urban core and to develop the interest of local communities in order to promote their use and disclosure. As study case we chose Alcochete and tried to create a new perspective of public use which gives a new and dynamic centrality to the village. The opportunities it offers in a tourism context were analyzed, from the knowledge and practice of their habits, customs, traditions and local products. It was identified as well, the need to introduce practical elements that preserve, enhance and publicize the qualities of a cultural center that leverages the urban, social, economic and tourism through the use of culture.
