At present, the evaluation of the implementation effect of the music teaching reform project is a hot topic. This project establishes a teaching reform implementation effect evaluation model based on improving the accuracy of teaching reform plan effectiveness evaluation. This project first analyzes the current research status of the impact evaluation of the implementation of music education reform projects and builds a set of evaluation systems. The evaluation method of teaching reform plan implementation effect based on a "big data-driven - support vector machine" was constructed. The simulation experiment verifies that this method can evaluate the implementation of the teaching reform plan well. The relative error of the evaluation results is small. It is practical in improving the effectiveness evaluation of the teaching reform plan. After verification, it is found that the research results of this project are feasible. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

With the rapid development of mobile interactive technology, a transformative shift in the pedagogical model of university sports courses has been initiated. Traditional teaching methods are simplistic and characterized by their lack of interactivity and personalization. However, the implementation of mobile interactive technology provides students with increased opportunities for participation and access to learning resources. Although existing research focuses on the integration of mobile interactive technology in university sports courses, a significant limitation remains in the evaluation methodologies employed, with a lack of systematic quantitative analysis and a comprehensive evaluation framework. This study proposes an effectiveness evaluation model comprising three primary components: construction of the evaluation model, calculation of indicator weights, and application of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Background: The positive effects of regular physical activity on children and adolescents' physical and mental health are well-established. Despite these health benefits, most Swiss adolescents do not meet WHO's recommended level of physical activity, which includes a daily minimum of 60 min of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity. Due to their inclusivity, schools are identified as a key setting to promote physical activity. Recently, the comprehensive school physical activity program (CSPAP), in which teachers as physical activity leaders (PALs) play a crucial role to advance comprehensive school-based physical activity promotion, has been discussed. However, such comprehensive approaches are still lacking in Switzerland, and specific PAL trainings do not exist. Therefore, the aim of this study is to implement and evaluate Active School, a comprehensive school-based physical activity program for Swiss secondary schools with integrated PAL training. Methods/design: A cluster randomized controlled trial (RCT) involving 12 secondary schools (6 experimental, 6 waiting control schools) will assess baseline data and effectiveness of Active School at 12 and 24 months. Active School includes five components based on the CSPAP. Each school is encouraged to set individual physical activity goals in this regard. This process is guided by the PALs, who will participate in professional development training before and during Active School implementation. As a primary outcome, students' moderate-to-vigorous physical activity will be assessed via accelerometers. As secondary outcomes, inactivity, light physical activity, step counts, aerobic fitness and coordination will be measured, and students' general wellbeing, learning behavior, and multiple psychosocial measures related to physical activity will be assessed by questionnaires. The effectiveness evaluation is accompanied by a process evaluation that focuses on the implementation outcomes of dose of delivery, reach, feasibility, and sustainability. A mixed methods approach, including ripple effect mapping, will be employed to reconstruct and understand the implementation process. Discussion: This study will be the first to implement and evaluate a CSPAP in the Swiss school system. The specific PAL training and the simultaneous application of effectiveness and process evaluation are considered strengths of the study. At present, the operational environment for underwater acoustic contermeasure is increasingly complicated. The emphasis on future underwater warfare is mainly focused on the contermeasure and counter-contermeasure of intelligent underwater unmanned systems. The research on intelligent unmanned undersea vehicle(UUV) recognition and counter-contermeasure capability is of great significance for improving the overall operational effectiveness of intelligent undersea unmanned systems. In order to evaluate the target recognition and counter-contermeasure effectiveness of the intelligent UUVs, the main factors affecting the system effectiveness were analyzed, and the effectiveness index system was established. The evaluation model was also proposed. The weight of the index system was determined by the combination of subjective and objective weighting methods, and the target recognition and counter-contermeasure effectiveness of the intelligent UUVs was evaluated by the improved technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution(TOPSIS). The evaluation conclusion can provide a reference for the design and optimization of the UUV target recognition and counter-contermeasure system.

Equipment clusters are gradually emerging as a key way to improve the efficiency of underwater tasks. Traditional availability dependability capacity(ADC) models make it difficult to evaluate the collaborative ability of an underwater heterogeneous platform composed of multi-type equipment. The reliability, endurance, and communication performance indicators with time variables were selected, and a comprehensive model of the tree structure was established, which could quantify the collaborative factors numerically and objectively reflect the changes in collaborative ability during the platform task process. Based on this, the capability matrix was continuously processed, and the equipment individual was taken as a subsystem. Environmental impact factors were introduced to reflect the influence of the surrounding environment on the equipment performance. An improved ADC model was established for system effectiveness evaluation. By taking the underwater heterogeneous platform composed of autonomous undersea vehicles and communication nodes as an example, the equipment capability and platform effectiveness within the task cycle were evaluated. The research results indicate that this method can be well combined with multiple collaborative factors for effectiveness evaluation, which is feasible and effective and can provide a reference for the effectiveness evaluation of collaborative operation tasks of multi-type equipment.

This study aims to evaluate the effect of adventure education programs on resilience enhancement among first-year undergraduate students. The researchers designed adventure education courses using a benefits-based management activity planning model. An analysis is conducted using quasi-experimental and pre- and post-test non-equivalent group designs. Participants are divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. The effects of the adventure education programs as a 72-hour intervention are studied using a resilience scale. The data analysis employs a paired t-test and a one-way ANCOVA. The experimental group reports higher scores than the control group on the resilience scale and two subscales, problem-solving and interpersonal interaction, and these results are statistically significant. Further, the experimental group shows marginal positive changes in the total resilience scale and its two subscales in terms of effect size. Multistage hydraulic fracturing of horizontal wells (MFHW) is a promising technology for controlling coal burst caused by thick and hard roofs in China. However, challenges remain regarding the MFHW control mechanism of coal burst and assessment of the associated fracturing effects. In this study, these challenges were investigated through numerical modelling and field applications, based on the actual operating parameters of MFHW for hard roofs in a Chinese coal mine. A damage parameter (D) is proposed to assess the degree of hydraulic fracturing in the roof. The mechanisms and effects of MFHW for controlling coal burst are analyzed using microseismic (MS) data and front-abutment stress distribution. This paper proposes a field evaluation method based on P-wave velocity. This method explicitly discusses two scenarios where the P-wave velocity of the grout is either higher or lower than that of the soil, using the depth ℎ of the “hypothetical crack” as the evaluation indicator. The experimental results indicate that specimens with 20% and 40% defects show increases in ℎ values of 0.0113 m and 0.0166 m, respectively. Laboratory tests have demonstrated that this method can accurately evaluate grouting effectiveness and is not affected by the P-wave velocity of the soil. The application of this evaluation method to three typical earthen sites resulted in more reliable and easily quantifiable evaluation outcomes. By considering the width of grout, the method provides a more intuitive comparison of reparation effectiveness. The study demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed method, thereby facilitating effective crack reparation in earthen sites.

This article evaluates the effectiveness of the Shelter.Ukraine Initiative, a civic response to the humanitarian crisis resulting from Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Initiative aims to address pressing needs through a local umbrella funding approach. Utilizing an evaluative framework that combines multiple approaches, including causal attribution techniques, contribution analysis, and regression analysis, we assess the effectiveness of the Shelter.Ukraine Initiative. We uncover influencing factors that contribute to the Initiative success. These include organizational ambidexterity, learning-by-doing, inter-organizational structure, and advanced technology for financial resource distribution. Our findings underscore the importance of reconfiguring the humanitarian aid architecture to enhance effectiveness. In addition, we suggest that the insights gained from our study can inform future evaluations of humanitarian aid initiatives. By incorporating similar evaluative frameworks and methodologies, researchers can assess the effectiveness of other initiatives and identify key factors contributing to success. Consumer behavior change is a key priority to address the illegal wildlife trade, but evaluation of these interventions is lacking. We used surveys and randomized controlled trials to assess the effectiveness of three types of messages, which were codesigned with key stakeholders, with 2496 potential consumers and nontarget consumers in China. We found a 23% decrease in intention among potential consumers to use wild animal medicinal products by health‐related messages, and a 14% decrease by legality‐related messages, compared with the control group, though the effect size was small. Furthermore, we revealed that the effect of health‐related messages occurred indirectly by increasing health risk perceptions associated with improper utilization of wild animals. Yet, we did not find a clear effect pathway of the legality‐related messages. Regarding the nontarget consumers, information of whistleblowing platforms and incentives improved willingness to report illegal wildlife use directly, as well as indirectly through adding messages to increase perceived legality risk of using wild products and improve self‐efficacy in identifying legal products. Ecological restoration is an important strategy for mitigating environmental degradation, and the effectiveness evaluation of ecological restoration is of profound significance for the scientific implementation of restoration projects. This study improved the Patch-generating Land Use Simulation (PLUS) model. It was used to simulate the land use patterns under multi-scenarios such as natural development (ND), economic priority (EP), and ecological restoration (ER) in 2030. An evaluation framework covering ecological "Restoration–Monitoring–Effectiveness" (RME) was proposed. Based on 30 m high-resolution remote-sensing data from 2000 to 2020, the land use distribution, landscape pattern changes, and ecosystem services under different scenarios were evaluated and predicted in the Yellow River Basin of Sichuan to verify the effectiveness of the evaluation framework. The results showed the following: (1) Under the ER scenario, the transfer of land use types in 2020–2030 was mainly characterized by an increase in the area of wetlands and a decrease in the area of built-up land. (2) There were obvious differences in land use and landscape patterns under different scenarios. Compared with the ND and EP scenarios, the growth of the construction rate was suppressed in the ER scenario, and the coverage of grassland and wetlands increased significantly. (3) The mean values of ecosystem services in the ER scenario were higher than those in the ND and EP scenarios. These findings clearly indicate that the RME evaluation system can accurately evaluate the ecological restoration effects under multi-scenarios in the future, providing a new perspective for ecological restoration evaluation in other regions. The aim of this research is to evaluate how well the e-Musrenbang application performs in the North Bontang Regency area in terms of development planning. The importance of implementing e-Government and Electronic-Based Government Systems in development planning is the driving force for this research. e-Musrenbang, an application with a geographical focus, is a method used to help communities get involved in development. With a research focus on North and South Bontang Regencies, this research uses qualitative methodology. The research objects are represented by Guntung Village and Tanjung Laut Indah Village. Using Budiani's theory, this research focuses on the characteristics of goal setting, socialization, target accuracy, and monitoring. Utilizing secondary data, interviewing relevant informants, and observation are the methods used for data collection. The research findings show how well the e-Musrenbang application is able to increase community involvement in planning and development in North Bontang District and South Bontang District. In this case, the public can convey their ambitions more easily online thanks to this program, which also helps the government in regulating and monitoring these aspirations. In addition, the application of geospatial technology makes development planning easier and more precise and focused. However, there are several shortcomings in this research, such as research topics that are limited to two different subdistricts and data collection techniques that only use qualitative techniques. Therefore, to have a more thorough understanding of the usability of this application, it is recommended that future research integrate qualitative and quantitative methodologies. ObjectiveTo evaluate the provision and utilization of national basic public health services (BPHS) in Jiangsu province and to provide references for improving national basic public health service programs. MethodsUsing stratified multistage sampling and a self-designed questionnaire, we conducted an online survey in August 2022 among 1 682 employees of grassroots medical institutions (hospitals/community health centers/village clinics) and 800 residents of five groups who were key persons in need of specific health services covered by the national BPHS in three cities and three counties with different economic development in three geographical regions of Jiangsu province. Information on the provision and utilization of BPHS, and the impact of BPHS on meeting the health needs and improving the health status of the local population were collected and analyzed. ResultsValid responses were obtained from 1 408 recruited medical staff and 791 recruited residents. The most common BPHS activity for medical staff was managing resident health records (reported by 73.0% of staff), followed by health education (70.0%), managing the health of the elderly (69.2%), managing patients with hypertension (66.9%), and managing patients with type 2 diabetes (62.2%). Abstract This study constructs a composite indicator system covering the core dimensions of medical equipment input and output. Based on this system, an innovative cone-constrained data envelopment analysis (DEA) model is designed. The model integrates the advantages of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) with an improved criterion importance through intercriteria correlation (CRITIC) method to determine subjective and objective weights and employs game theory to obtain the final combined weights, which are further incorporated as constraints to form the cone-constrained DEA model. Finally, a bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) model with an attention mechanism is introduced for integration, aiming to provide a novel and practical model for evaluating the effectiveness of medical equipment. The proposed model has essential reference value for optimizing medical equipment management decision-making and investment strategies.

Based on the research and analysis of related issues, the evaluation index system of equipment comprehensive support effectiveness is constructed. BackgroundThe Centre for Disease Control and Prevention in Yangquan, China, has taken a series of preventive and control measures in response to the increasing trend of Kala-Azar. In response, we propose a new model to more scientifically evaluate the effectiveness of these interventions.MethodsWe obtained the incidence data of Kala-Azar from 2017 to 2021 from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Yangquan. We constructed Poisson segmented regression model, harmonic Poisson segmental regression model, and improved harmonic Poisson segmented regression model, and used the three models to explain the intervention effect, respectively. Background: A new type of silver alloy hydrogel-coated (SAH) catheter has been shown to prevent bacterial adhesion and colonization by generating a microcurrent, and to block the retrograde infection pathway. However, these have only been confirmed in ordinary patients. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a SAH catheter for preventing urinary tract infections in critically ill patients. Methods: This was a prospective single-center, single-blind, randomized, controlled study. A total of 132 patients requiring indwelling catheterization in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the First Affiliated Hospital of the University of Science and Technology of China between October 2022 and February 2023 and who met the study inclusion/exclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in the SAH catheter group received a SAH catheter, while patients in the conventional catheter group received a conventional siliconized latex Foley catheter. The main outcome measure was the incidence of catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs). Secondary outcome indicators included urine positivity for white blood cells and positive urine cultures on 3 days, 7 days, 10 days, and 14 days after catheterization, number of viable bacteria in the catheter biofilm on day 14, pathogenic characteristics of positive urine cultures, length of ICU stay, overall hospital stay, ICU mortality, and 28-day mortality. All the data were compared between the two groups. Results: A total of 68 patients in the conventional catheter group and 64 patients in the SAH catheter group were included in the study. On day 7 after catheter placement, the positivity rate for urinary white blood cells was significantly higher in the conventional catheter group than in the SAH catheter group (33.8% vs. 15.6%, P=0.016). On day 10, the rates of positive urine cultures (27.9% vs. 10.9%, P=0.014) and CAUTIs (22.1% vs. 7.8%, P=0.023) were significantly higher in the conventional catheter group than in the SAH catheter group. In recent years, e-commerce live streaming and short video marketing supported by big data and artificial intelligence technology have flourished, adding new sales models for e-commerce products to mass consumption, promoting the multimodal development of the e-commerce industry, giving new impetus and connotation to economic and social development, and being an effective means to achieve high-quality development in the new era. The effectiveness evaluation of short video marketing strategies is a multiple-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM) problem. Recently, the Exponential TODIM technique and Combined Compromise Solution (CoCoSo) technique has been employed to cope with MAGDM issues. The interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy sets (IVPFSs) are employed as a tool for characterizing uncertain information during the effectiveness evaluation of short video marketing strategies. In this paper, the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy Exponential TODIM (ExpTODIM) (IVPF-ExpTODIM-CoCoSo) technique is constructed to solve the MAGDM under IVPFSs. In the end, a numerical case study for effectiveness evaluation of short video marketing strategies is given to validate the proposed technique. The main contributions of this paper are outlined: (1) the Exp-TODIM and CoCoSo technique has been extended to IVPFSs; (2) Information Entropy is employed to manage the weight values under IVPFSs. Chatbots enable the automation of several components in customer service and allow the support of multiple users. Despite their multiple advantages, due to the large amount of conversations generated by a chatbot, it is difficult to determine whether customer requests are well-addressed. For practical reasons, chatbot's effectiveness is evaluated manually based upon a small sample (randomly chosen) of conversations or through self-reported user satisfaction. This procedure does not guarantee the correct evaluation of the service because the sample is generally not large enough and self-reports might be influenced by different external factors not directly associated to the chatbot's functioning. This study proposes a methodology for automatic evaluation of chatbot effectiveness in real production environments. The analysis considers convolutional neural networks adapted for natural language processing, using two parallel convolutional layers to evaluate questions and answers independently. The proposed model also incorporates filters to extract features with multiple temporal resolution. This methodology is tested upon real conversations of chatbots that provide service to two different companies. The results are compared to baseline models based on classical techniques with different pre-trained word embedding models. According to our results, the proposed approach provides accuracies between 78.95% and 80.18%, which outperforms the best result of the baseline models by 2.9%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Frequent alterations, unpredictable workloads, and blurred lines between professional and personal life all contribute to adverse effects on mental health. As a result, there is a growing need for managers to be attuned to their employees' emotional well-being and to cultivate the ability to openly, safely, and confidentially address mental health matters. Training in mental health awareness can equip managers with the skills to recognize early signs of common mental health conditions, engage in conversations about mental health, and actively promote well-being to prevent mental health challenges. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mental health intervention on self-compassion and stigmatisation attitudes among leaders and their followers. The present study is a part of a large European research project. A pre-post research design was implemented in two Czech SMEs to investigate the effect of mental health awareness training on leaders and their followers. The research focuses on two dependent variables - self-compassion as a personal resource and stigmatisation as the attitude towards mental health. The moderating role of learning transfer and the opportunity to use the training was taken into account. For the leaders, the results indicate a statistically significant increase in self-compassion and a decrease in stigmatising attitudes toward mental health issues. There is no statistically significant moderating role of training transfer variables. For the followers, a statistically significant change was evident in decreased stigmatising attitudes. The results need to be interpreted in the context of organisational changes that both companies went through during the research project resulting in more stress, workload, and drop-outs. Implications for the Central European audience: There is a need for knowledge on how to prevent well-being-related problems in a changing world with more remote work and more mental health issues. The present study adds to this need by exploring the effect of mental health awareness training on two organisational levels - leaders and their followers. The practical contribution of this research is to provide specific recommendations on how to stimulate mental health awareness for leaders through training interventions and thus promote employee well-being. The imbalance between the supply and demand of ecological products between society and ecosystems is an important cause of a series of water ecological problems, and water ecological restoration projects aim to improve the above supply–demand relationship by means of inputs from the social side. For this reason, this paper takes the Yellow River Delta region as an example to launch a study on the assessment of the effectiveness of water ecological restoration projects from the perspective of the supply and demand of ecological products. Specifically, the level of the supply and demand of ecological products, as well as the relationship between the supply and the demand in the studied area, were measured using the equivalent factor approach and the water footprint approach, and the effects of the Yellow River Delta hydro-ecological restoration project were assessed by integrating the following four metrics: land use, supply of ecological products (ecosystem services), demand for ecological products, and the relationship between the supply of and demand for ecological products. The results of this study show that although the hydro-ecological restoration project continues to replenish water resources in the Yellow River Delta region, and promotes the level of ecological product supply in the study area through the restoration of wetlands and water, the growing and excessive demand for ecological products in the study area still puts the local ecosystems at risk of degradation. In the future, the Yellow River Delta region should continue to control the scale of land for production and living on the supply side of ecological products and increase its investment in water ecological restoration, while establishing a highly efficient mode of ecological product development and utilization and a reasonable mechanism for the payment of ecological products on the demand side. In addition, the Yellow River Delta region needs to pay attention to the impacts of rising sea levels and other climatic problems on ecological restoration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Based on the military net evaluation report published by Rand Corporation, this paper independently explores the combat effectiveness evaluation theory driven by the analytical model of the US military, and studies in detail the analysis and evaluation method of precision guided weapons attacking the airbase in the joint integrated contingency model (JICM), also carries out the deduction and calculation. The results show that the air force aircraft sorties ability is greatly affected by the damage of the airbase, which plays a vital role in the fight for air control. This paper has positive theoretical significance for the in-depth understanding and application of modern combat simulation deduction and evaluation.
