Resumo: O texto contém resultados parciais de uma pesquisa qualitativa que examina os processos de legitimação das competências da Pedagogia Social exemplarmente na interface entre a assistência social a crianças e jovens (KJH) e a assistência psiquiátrica a crianças e jovens (KJP) no contexto alemão. A questão central é como a competência profissional da Pedagogia Social e seu conhecimento especializado se articulam, constituem e afirmam. Zonas de tensão e de cooperação são os pontos de referência escolhidos neste contexto e que tomamos como motivo para reconstituir processos e modos de tratamento das fonteiras profissionais. A categoria “tratamento de fronteira”, desenvolvida por Susanne Maurer e Fabian Kessl, nos serve como base metodológica. No texto, depois de uma breve inserção teórica, esboçamos, com base em dois exemplos de discussões em grupo, como se constitui a cooperação como processos de tratamento de fronteira. Por fim, esses resultados são discutidos no contexto da pesquisa sobre a profissão da Pedagogia Social. Abstract: Initiated by Susanne Maurer and Fabian Kessl in 2005, the discourse on social work as boundary- or border-work has now been taken up by the profession and scientific discussion proven in initial empirical analyses, and thus been further defined. In this article we will try to line out the analytic potential of this concept, and suggest some further differentiations which are based on the theoretical assumptions and first results from our current DFG research project on the challenges of legitimizing social work competency in areas of cooperative tension. We will approach this in three steps: first, we will summarize some of the theoretical frameworks of our project and try to connect them to boundary-analytic perspectives. Second, we will discuss our first research findings on social work in areas of cooperative tension. Thirdly, in conclusion, we will formulate some poignant thoughts as to gain a more precise theoretical understanding of the analytical potential of boundary-analytical perspectives related to cooperation especially in focus to research social work as a profession by legitimizing.

Nesta pesquisa, pretendo contribuir para a reflexão sobre como o Estado brasileiro lida com violações de direitos humanos perpetradas por agentes estatais. Por meio de método documental, observo o Instituto de Deslocamento de Competência estabelecido na Constituição Brasileira pela Emenda Constitucional nº 45, formulado essencialmente para casos relacionados a violações de direitos humanos. Levanto debates sobre os limites, desafios e impactos do instituto para a democracia brasileira e o Estado de Direito, com base em um estudo de caso aprofundado sobre o “Incidente de Deslocamento n. 9” relacionado a Chacina do Parque Bristol, um episódio que ocorreu durante a sequência de crimes conhecidos como" Crimes de Maio de 2006 ". This research intends to contribute to the reflection on how the Brazilian State deals with human rights violations perpetrated by state agents. Through documental method I observe the legal institute “Jurisdiction Shift” (Incidente de Deslocamento de Competência) established in the Brazilian Constitution by the Constitution Amendment number 45, formulated essentially to cases related to human rights violations. I raise debates on the institute’s limits, challenges and impacts to Brazilian democracy and the Rule of Law, based on in-depth case study on the “Jurisdiction Shift” Claim n. 9" related to the Bristol Part Slaughter, an episode that happened during the sequence of crimes known as “Crimes of May 2006”.

Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick zu Aufbau, Forschungsmethodologie und ersten Ergebnissen eines von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft geförderten Projektes, das auf eine Anbahnung ethischen Urteilens abzielt. In einem innovativen praxeologischen Ansatz wird ethisches Urteilen sowohl auf sprachlicher Ebene über die dokumentarische Analyse von Gruppendiskussionen untersucht als auch auf der Ebene der Praktiken innerhalb von Unterrichtsprozessen videographisch erfasst. Hierbei werden ethische Urteile als intuitive Prozesse verstanden, die sich in Form von pro- und anti-kooperativen Urteils- und Verhaltensweisen ausdrücken und denen erst im Nachhinein rechtfertigende Begründungen hinzugefügt werden. Dabei wird die besondere Bedeutung von Dissonanzerfahrungen in der Auseinandersetzung Lernender mit doppelt komplexen Themen des Geographieunterrichts hervorgehoben, welche als Ausdruck impliziter, handlungsleitender Wissensbestände verstanden werden können., This article provides an overview of the structure, research methodology and initial results of a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG), which aims to initiate ethical decision-making. In an innovative praxeological approach, ethical decision-making is investigated both on a linguistic level via the documentary analysis of group discussions and on a videographic level via the analysis of practices within teaching processes. In this context, ethical judgements are conceived as intuitive processes that are expressed in the form of pro- and anti-cooperative judgements and behavior, to which justifications are added only afterwards. We emphasize the special importance of dissonance experiences in the confrontation of learners with dual complex topics of Geography lessons, which can be understood as an expression of implicit, action-guiding knowledge., En este artículo se ofrece una visión general de la estructura, la metodología de investigación y los resultados iniciales de un proyecto financiado por la Fundación Alemana de Investigación (DFG), que tiene por objeto iniciar un juicio ético. En un enfoque praxiológico innovador, el juicio ético se investiga tanto a nivel lingüístico mediante el análisis documental de los debates de grupo como a nivel videográfico de las prácticas dentro de los procesos de enseñanza. En este contexto, los juicios éticos se entienden como procesos intuitivos que se expresan en forma de juicios y comportamientos pro y anti cooperativos y a los que se añaden justificaciones sólo posteriormente. Se hace hincapié en la especial importancia de las experiencias de disonancia en el enfrentamiento de los alumnos con temas doblemente complejos de las lecciones de geografía, lo que puede entenderse como una expresión de conocimientos implícitos, que guían la acción.

A partir de dos imágenes sobre el anuncio de un proceso de diálogos en 2012, entre el Gobierno colombiano y las FARC-EP, con miras a finalizar el conflicto armado interno, se analizan las cosmovisiones sugeridas y la imagen que los actores mostraron de sí mismos y de sus colectivos institucionales. La aproximación se enmarca en los avances teóricos y metodológicos sobre interpretación de imágenes, a través del método documental de Karl Mannheim. En los resultados se abordan tres momentos: la interpretación formulada, la interpretación reflectiva y la interpretación constrastiva. En las conclusiones se retoma el asunto empírico, poniéndolo en relación con la implicancia teórica del método de inter-pretación documental On the basis of two images announcing the initiation of peace dialogues to put an end to the internal conflict between the Colombian Government and the FARC-EP in 2102, the article analyzes the worldviews suggested and the images of themselves and of their institutional groups portrayed by the actors. The approach used is framed within the theoretical and methodological advances in the field of image interpretation and uses Karl Mannheim’s documentary method. The discussion of the results addresses three mo-ments: formulated interpretation, reflective interpretation, and contrastive interpretation. Ausgehend von der für die Grounded-Theory-Methodologie (GTM) zentralen Prämisse des "all is data" und vor dem Hintergrund zunehmender Beschäftigung mit visuellen Daten in der qualitativen Forschung, bietet der Beitrag einen orientierenden Rahmen für eine visuelle Grounded-Theory-Methodologie. Aufbauend auf Überlegungen aus der objektiven Hermeneutik, der dokumentarischen Methode, der Segmentanalyse sowie GTM-internen Perspektiven wird gezeigt, wie dieser traditionell textorientierte Ansatz auf visuelle Daten bezogen werden kann. Subjektwissenschaftlich ausgerichtete empirische Forschung ermöglicht einen ertragreichen Zugang zum Eigensinn subjektiver Handlungsbegründungen, wie er etwa bei Lern- und Bildungsprozessen konstitutiv ist. In dem schmalen Sektor einschlägiger Arbeiten ist die Auseinandersetzung vor allem um adäquate Auswertungsmethoden unzureichend, Fragen des Forschungssettings werden darüber hinaus kontrovers diskutiert. In dem vorliegenden Beitrag wird ein Weg vorgeschlagen, Methoden der dokumentarischen Methode (BOHNSACK 2014) und Prinzipien der Situationsanalyse (CLARKE & KELLER 2012) zu nutzen, um Bestimmungen einer adäquaten Methodik zu erreichen. Unterstellt wird dabei die Notwendigkeit, konkrete Auswertungsmethoden im Hinblick auf ihre Eignung für subjektwissenschaftliche Forschung zu hinterfragen und einen Einsatz sodann definierter Methoden auch zu begründen. Im Sinne einer pragmatistischen Perspektive, wie sie zuerst John DEWEY (1987 [1934]) in Anschluss an William JAMES formulierte, ist das Religiöse weniger als eine spezifische Art von experience zu verstehen, denn als ein adjustment hin zu einer epistemischen Perspektive, die alle Erfahrungen in einem veränderten Licht erscheinen lässt. Religiosität zielt damit auf ein besonderes Selbst- und Weltverhältnis, in dem die Beziehung zwischen Selbst und Welt aus einer ganzheitlichen Perspektive betrachtet wird.Wie aber können fremde, auf den ersten Blick in ihrer Genese unwahrscheinliche und unter modernen Verhältnissen zudem anzweifelbare religiöse Haltungen und Sinnsysteme etabliert werden? Am Beispiel der im tibetischen Buddhismus verbreiteten Phowa-Meditation des "bewussten Sterbens" wird untersucht, wie für westliche Adept/innen auf den ersten Blick befremdlich und esoterisch anmutende spirituelle Lehren mit zunehmender Praxis an Evidenz und Sinnhaftigkeit gewinnen können, indem sich Gruppenprozesse, Visualisierungen, körperorientierte Übungen und psychisches Erleben zu einem übergreifenden Arrangement verschränken. Die empirische Datengrundlage für die Untersuchung liefern narrative Interviews mit westlich sozialisierten Schüler/innen und Lehrer/innen des Diamantweg-Buddhismus, der derzeit größten buddhistischen Gemeinschaft des tibetischen Buddhismus in Deutschland. Religiousness thus has to do with a particular relationship between the self and the world which is seen from a holistic perspective. But how can religious attitudes and meaning systems be established and sustained that are foreign and which from the modern standpoint seem doubtful?Taking the Phowa meditation practised in Tibetan Buddhism as an example, this study shows how spiritual teachings that initially appear to Western adepts to be strange and esoteric can gain in credibility and meaningfulness through an interweaving of group processes, visualisations, body-oriented exercises and mental experiences in an overarching arrangement. The analysis is based on empirical data obtained in narrative interviews conducted with teachers and learners of Diamond Way Buddhism who have been socialised in the west. Tomando la meditación Phowa practicada en el budismo tibetano como un ejemplo, este estudio muestra cómo las enseñanzas espirituales que en un principio parecen extrañas y esotéricas a los adeptos occidentales pueden ganar en credibilidad y significado a través de un entramado de procesos grupales, visualizaciones, ejercicios orientados al cuerpo y experiencias mentales. El análisis se basa en datos empíricos obtenidos en entrevistas narrativas realizadas con profesores y aprendices del budismo camino del diamante que ha sido socializado en occidente. Die dokumentarische Methode ist bezüglich der ihr zugrunde liegenden Metatheorie gut auf Felder wie Generationen oder Milieus abgestimmt, was ihr dort besonders valide Analysen ermöglicht. Gerade im Fall formaler Organisationen sind soziale Praxen jedoch nur bedingt auf konjunktive Erfahrungsräume zurückzuführen. Vielmehr bekommen hier auch explizite Wissensbestände und Praxen zwischen unterschiedlichen Wissensräumen eine hohe Bedeutung. In diesem Beitrag wird im Anschluss an Gotthard GÜNTHER eine metatheoretische Konzeption für rekonstruktive Forschung in organisationalen Settings entwickelt. Soziale Praxis wird hier als das Prozessieren unterschiedlicher latenter und manifester Wissensbestände mit- und gegeneinander gefasst. Mit den Begriffen der Kontextur und der transjunktionalen Operation wird eine schlanke, aber gleichzeitig hoch abstrakte Metatheorie vorgeschlagen, die eine Analyse dieser Prozesse ermöglicht. However, formal organisations are only partly attributable to conjunctive experiential spaces, since explicit bodies of knowledge and practices assume an important role. In this article, we develop a metatheoretical conceptualisation for reconstructive research in organisational settings following Gotthard GÜNTHER. We view social practice as processing between different latent and manifest bodies of knowledge both with each other and against each other. We propose a parsimonious, but simultaneously highly abstract metatheory using the concepts of contexture and the transjunctional operation with which these processes can be analysed. Der Zusammenhang von Denken und Handeln ist für eine empirische Untersuchung kaum sichtbar. Während die Handlungen in der Regel gut beobachtbar sind, bleiben die Denkprozesse der beobachteten Individuen für Forschende im Verborgenen. Retrospektiv neigen interviewte Personen meist dazu, die den Handlungen vorausgehenden Überlegungen den evident gewordenen Tatsachen anzupassen. Für eine Untersuchung, die sich explizit mit Denkprozessen beschäftigt (vgl. MESSMER 2010, 2011a, 2012), stellen sich damit kaum lösbare methodologische Probleme. Als Ausweg aus diesem kognitiven Dilemma bieten sich die Stimulated-Recall-Analyse (SRA) als Instrument der Datenerhebung und des Forschungszugangs an.Zunächst wird die Praxis der SRA als ein Zugang im Kontext der rekonstruktiven Sozialforschung dargestellt. Dabei wird eine frühere Untersuchung zu Handlungs- und Denkprozessen von Lehrpersonen als Beispiel genutzt. Im Sinne einer methodischen Anleitung sollen ebenfalls die methodologischen Hintergründe der SRA dargestellt werden. Stimulated Recall erwies sich als geeignete Methode, die nicht sichtbaren Denkstrukturen von Lehrpersonen empirisch zu erfassen. While actions are observable, thinking processes are hidden to them. When researchers ask individuals to explain their thinking processes associated with a specific action, they tend to adapt their preceding thinking processes to match the action, whether those processes are accurate or not. However, any study dealing explicitly with thinking processes has to cope with this problem. In this article I argue that Stimulated Recall Analysis (SRA) can offer a solution to this thorny methodological issue.First, the practice of SRA is illustrated as an investigative approach in the context of reconstructive social research, using a concrete example from a previous study about action and thought processes of teachers. The practice of applying SRA to this example serves as a kind of methodological guide for future studies. In the subsequent discussion, it is suggested that SRA proved to be a suitable empirical method to detect the internal thought processes of teachers. Mientras que las acciones son observables, los procesos de pensamiento no son visibles para ellos. Cuando los investigadores piden a los individuos que expliquen sus procesos de pensamiento asociados con una acción específica, los sujetos tienden a adaptar sus procesos de pensamiento anteriores para que coincidan con la acción, sean esos procesos precisos o no. Sin embargo, cualquier estudio que trata explícitamente con los procesos de pensamiento tiene que hacer frente a este problema. En este artículo sostengo que el análisis de evocación estimulada (AEE) puede ofrecer una solución a este espinoso problema metodológico.En primer lugar, se ilustra la práctica de AEE como un enfoque de investigación en el contexto de la investigación social reconstructiva, mediante un ejemplo concreto de un estudio previo sobre la acción y procesos de pensamiento de los docentes. La práctica de aplicar AEE a este ejemplo sirve como una especie de guía metodológica para futuros estudios. En la discusión posterior, se sugiere que el AEE demostró ser un método empírico adecuado para detectar los procesos de pensamiento de los maestros. Sociological research has so far largely underestimated the potential of film analysis as a means of analyzing societal change. The findings presented in this article are part of current efforts to establish a visual sociology, and specifically a sociology of film. Based on a research project on the cultural foundations of the family and gender order, the article is centered on the potential contribution of film analysis for sociological enquiry. For this purpose, it introduces research on the films Das doppelte Lottchen ("Two Times Lotte," 1950, director: Josef von BAKY) and its remake Charlie und Louise. Das doppelte Lottchen (1994, director: Joseph VILSMAIER). Both movies are understood as "discursive events" within broader public discourses. Our methodology draws on a sociology of knowledge approach to discourse analysis and takes it further by applying audio-visual methods. Documentary video analysis serves as a particularly important toolkit. The article examines the interpretative options with respect to different ways of private life that these movies discursively offer. Both films deny the widely observed social developments towards a pluralization of ways of private life and support an ideal image of the nuclear family. In the 1950 film, the parents' divorce is considered unacceptable, whereas the 1994 remake takes the separation as the starting point of its narration. This discursive transformation can be interpreted as an institutionalization and normalization of separation and divorce. Herausgearbeitet wird, welche diskursiven Deutungsangebote die Filme dem Publikum hinsichtlich der Lebensform anbieten: Trotz Pluralisierung der Lebensformen konstruieren beide Filme die vollständige Kernfamilie als Ideal und schreiben damit die kulturelle Leitidee einer vermeintlich universellen und vollständigen Eltern-Kind-Familie fort. Die Scheidung der Eltern wird im 1950er-Jahre-Film tabuisiert, im 1990er-Jahre-Film fungiert sie hingegen als Ausgangspunkt der filmischen Erzählung. This edited volume comprises a range of studies that have employed a group discussion technique in combination with a specific strategy for reconstructive social research—the so-called documentary method. The latter is an empirical research strategy based on the meta-theoretical premises of the praxeological sociology of knowledge, as developed by Ralf BOHNSACK. It seeks to access practice in a more appropriate manner, namely by differentiating between various dimensions of knowledge and sociality. It holds that habitual collective orientations, in particular, are best accessed through group discussions. Thus this book does not address the group discussion technique in general, as might be expected from the title. Instead, it presents various contributions from researchers interpreting transcripts of group discussions according to the documentary method. The chapters are grouped into three main sections, representing different frameworks of practice and habitual orientation: childhood, adolescence, and organizational or societal context. A fourth section includes chapters on further, potentially useful ways of employing this particular technique and approach, as well as a chapter on teaching it in a meaningful way. Each chapter is structured in the same way: introduction to the research field and focus; methodological discussion; exemplary interpretation of group discussions; and concluding remarks. Niklas LUHMANN ist bekannt für seine bewusste Abwendung von handelnden Akteuren hin zu deren interaktiver Verbundenheit durch sogenannte autopoietische Kommunikationssysteme (LUHMANN 1994, 1990). Neben dem Gewinn einer neuen Beobachtungsperspektive stellt sich in der Auseinandersetzung mit diesem Ansatz jedoch immer auch die Frage nach dessen method(olog)ischer Umsetzbarkeit im Rahmen sozial- und managementwissenschaftlicher Forschung. Der vorliegende Beitrag versucht, diese Frage anhand einer konkreten qualitativen Methode zu beantworten. Ziel ist es, die Sinngehalte sozialer Systeme und den damit verbundenen Prozess der Verfertigung bzw. Aufrechterhaltung entsprechender Inhalte methodisch, d.h. systematisch und für Dritte nachvollziehbar, festzuhalten. Als zentrale Untersuchungseinheit wird die Gruppe in den Fokus des Interesses genommen. Los autores comparan los enfoques presentados y trabajan en sus semejanzas más que en sus diferencias. Aunque este libro de texto ofrece una brillante introducción a la investigación cualitativa, al enfatizar las semejanzas los autores tienden a descuidar diferencias metodológicas importantes. The authors compare the approaches presented and work out their similarities rather than differences. Although this textbook offers a sound introduction to qualitative research, in stressing similarities the authors tend to neglect important methodological differences. Anleitungen für die Forschungspraxis" erklärt der Erziehungswissenschaftler Arnd-Michael NOHL, wie die dokumentarische Methode für die Interpretation von Interviews fruchtbar gemacht werden kann. Netzwerke, in denen Personen kooperieren, um im Schulsystem nachhaltige Schul- und Professionalitätsentwicklung zu initiieren und zu etablieren, werden seit Ende der 1990er Jahre zunehmend aufgebaut. Netzwerke sind meist interessiert, sich auszuweiten, um möglichst viele Lehrende in Innovationen einzubeziehen. Steuergruppen stellen das operative Zentrum von Netzwerken dar. Sie übernehmen die Koordination und Organisation der Schulentwicklungsinitiativen eines Netzwerks und dienen als solche u.a. als Schnittstelle zwischen den bereits kooperierenden und potenziell neuen Mitgliedern. Bislang gibt es jedoch kaum Erkenntnisse darüber, wie die Steuergruppenmitglieder diesen Vermittlungsprozess gestalten und woran sie sich dabei orientieren. In diesem Beitrag soll an diesem Forschungsdesiderat angesetzt werden, indem die von Steuergruppenmitgliedern formulierten Zugangsmöglichkeiten zum Netzwerk untersucht werden, die im Rahmen einer qualitativ angelegten Studie mithilfe problemzentrierter Interviews erhoben wurden. Die Befragungen wurden im Winter 2007/8 im Rahmen der österreichischen Regionalen Netzwerke, einer von vier Maßnahmen eines landesweiten Projekts zur Stärkung des mathematisch-naturwissenschaftlichen Unterrichts, durchgeführt. Drei unterschiedlich ausgestaltete Vermittlungsprozesse, die sich im Spannungsfeld von Sach- und Schulstrukturorientierung einerseits und den Vorstellungen zu inhaltlichen Gemeinsamkeiten und Unterschieden innerhalb des Netzwerks andererseits bewegen, konnten aus den Interviews generiert werden. Die drei rekonstruierten Typen von Zugangsmöglichkeiten – sachlich-homogen, sachlich-heterogen und bürokratisch-homogen – die durch sogenannte Distinktionen, d.h. habituell vorgenommene Bewertungsformen, realisiert werden, werden anhand von Fallbeispielen illustriert und miteinander kontrastiert. One of their common goals is to raise the number of their active members. This purpose is connected to the idea of incorporating as many teachers as possible into possible innovations of the network. Steering committees are the operation centers of these kinds of school networks. They coordinate and organize the school and professional development initiatives of a network. Therefore, steering committees link existing members and potentially new ones. Thus far, little is known about how steering committee members organize entrance into their networks. Taking this issue as a starting point, this article focuses on the ideas and concepts of admission processes between existing steering committee members and new ones from the perspective of steering committee members. The data is taken from a qualitative study that was done by interviewing steering committee members of the Austrian "Regionale Netzwerke" [regional networks] in the winter 2007–2008. These regional networks are one out of four groups in a nationwide project that have the goal of strengthening natural sciences and mathematics in Austrian schools. Three different types of admission modes to networks have been identified among fourteen interviewed steering committee members. These modes are situated within the field of common school structure and content of the network and the understanding of homogenous or diverse perspectives in the network. The three reconstructed types of entering modes—content-homogenous, content-diverse and bureaucratically-homogenous—are defined by distinctions that are conceptualized here as habitual practices. All identified types are illustrated with excerpts from the interviews and are compared with each other. On the basis of these findings, concluding perspectives are discussed—both for further investigations and for the practical use of networks as a school development strategy. Se toman los datos de un estudio cualitativo realizado al entrevistar a miembros del comité directivo de la Red Regional Austriaca en el verano 2007-2008. Estas redes regionales son uno de los cuatro grupos en un proyecto nacional que ha tenido la meta de fortalecer las ciencias naturales y las matemáticas en las escuelas austriacas. Se han identificado tres diferentes tipos de modos de admisión a la red entre catorce miembros del comité directivo. Estos modos sitúan entre el campo de la estructura común escolar y el contenido de la red y la comprensión de las perspectivas diversas u homogéneas en la red. El método documental parece especialmente adecuado para la prevención de posibles etnocentrismos en la interpretación de los datos en la investigación reconstructiva, así como para excluir las concesiones a un concepto estadístico y normativo de cultura. Como una ilustración de tal tesis, en este artículo se presenta el estudio realizado en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Bremen, en el que se analizan los efectos de un programa de contacto intercultural entre los estudiantes internacionales y las familias alemanas. The considerable progress in qualitative methods is directly connected with developments in the field of text-interpretation. On the basis of a thorough reconstruction of their formal structures texts are treated as autonomous domains of self-referential systems. Such a methodological status has been denied to pictures in empirical research in the field of social sciences up until now. The documentary method, based on Karl MANNHEIM's Sociology of Knowledge, opens up methodical access to pictures. Methodologies from art history (PANOFSKY, IMDAHL) can thus become relevant for empirical research in social sciences. Connections to semiotics (BARTHES, ECO) and philosophy (FOUCAULT) are worked out in their consequences for qualitative methods. Thus verbal contextual and pre-knowledge can be controlled methodically in the documentary interpretation of pictures. The reconstruction of formal structure of pictures becomes of central importance in analysis. All of this will be demonstrated by examples from research practice. El método documental parece especialmente adecuado para la prevención de posibles etnocentrismos en la interpretación de los datos en la investigación reconstructiva, así como para excluir las concesiones a un concepto estadístico y normativo de cultura. Como una ilustración de tal tesis, en este artículo se presenta el estudio realizado en la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de Bremen, en el que se analizan los efectos de un programa de contacto intercultural entre los estudiantes internacionales y las familias alemanas. Se hace especial hincapié en la cuestión de los cambios cognitivos y emocionales de los estudiantes, llamados procesos educativos ("Bildung") en la ciencias de la educación. The documentary method appears to be especially suitable for preventing possible ethnocentrisms in the interpretation of data in reconstructive research, as well as for precluding concessions with a statistic and normative cultural concept. As an illustration of this thesis, this article presents a study—undertaken at the Bremen University of Applied Sciences—in which the effects of an intercultural contact programme between international students and German families are analysed. Special emphasis is placed on the question of the students' emotional and cognitive changes, called educational processes ("Bildung") in the educational science. The theoretical and methodological background of the study and exemplary results are presented. Martin BITTNER beschäftigt sich in seiner Studie, die aus seiner Diplomarbeit in der Erziehungswissenschaft hervorgegangen ist, mit den Jugendprotesten in Frankreich im Herbst 2005. Dabei geht es einerseits darum, aus einer erziehungswissenschaftlich-jugendsoziologischen Perspektive das Phänomen einzuordnen und zu analysieren. Andererseits soll ein hierfür geeignetes Analyseinstrument entwickelt werden. Dazu wird eine Verbindung der dokumentarischen Methode (BOHNSACK 2007) und der Foucaultschen Diskursanalyse (FOUCAULT 2007, 1981) versucht, indem beide Methodologien zunächst expliziert und mithilfe begrifflicher Übergänge in Bezug zueinander gesetzt werden. Im Zentrum der Studie steht die Interpretation jener massenmedialen Strategien und Praktiken, die den sich um die Jugendaufstände formierenden Diskurs ausmachten. Zunächst werden die Aufstände in ihrem spezifischen sozialen und historischen Kontext dargestellt. Dabei wird zum einen deutlich, dass es sich um ein gewachsenes Phänomen handelt, das sich zum anderen in seiner Qualität von vorherigen Unruhen in Frankreich zu unterscheiden scheint. Als Zugang zum Gegenstand in seiner sozialen Bedeutsamkeit wird die Berichterstattung in deutschen Printmedien gewählt. Die dokumentarische Methode eröffnet einen derartigen empirisch-methodischen Zugang nicht nur zum Text, sondern auch zum Bild. In diesem Buch wird versucht, eine Verknüpfung zwischen der LUHMANNschen Systemtheorie und der qualitativen bzw. rekonstruktiven Sozialforschung aufzuzeigen. Neben einer ausführlichen theoretischen Herleitung der Hintergründe, Chancen und Probleme bei dieser Verknüpfung werden in drei Kapiteln Anwendungen des beschriebenen Ansatzes in einem medizinischen Kontext vorgestellt. Dabei wird insbesondere auf die dokumentarische Methode nach BOHNSACK zurückgegriffen. Das Buch setzt einen sehr vielversprechenden Ansatz in akribischer Weise gut um. Der Transfer zwischen Theorie und empirischem Teil und deren Aufbereitung für die Anwendung wird allerdings kaum geleistet, sodass Lesende entweder über sehr gute Vorkenntnisse verfügen oder eine hohe Integrationsleistung bezüglich der beschriebenen Inhaltsfelder zeigen müssen.
