1. Teaching Social Sciences with Digital Literary Products: A Mixed Methods Study.

In this study, the effect of preparing activities with digital literary products in social studies lesson on pre-service social studies teachers' competencies in using Web 2. 0 tools were tried to be determined. For this purpose, a mixed-methods design was adoptedThe sample of the study consists of of 37 pre-service social studies teachers selected in the context of criterion sampling from purposeful sampling techniques. "Repeated measure ANNOWA" test and "Paired Samples T-Test", which are parametric tests, were used to analyze quantitative data, and content analysis was used to analyze qualitative data. According to the results of the quantitative data analysis, a significant difference was found between the mean scores obtained from the Web 2. 0 Tools Usage Competency Scale (WAKYÖ) at four stages. Similarly, this difference also emerged between the first-second, first-third, first-fourth, second-fourth, and third-fourth measurement pairs. However, no significant difference was found between the second and third measurement mean scores. In addition qualitative data analysis identified four main themes related to positive effects: "becoming competent", "most admired", "affective effects" and "using in the profession". Based on this result, it was concluded that social studies research using digital literary products create a positive difference on the competence of using Web 2. 0 tools and this significant difference was also supported by the qualitative data results.
