Abstract

This paper presents some of the advances in the research "Entering the teaching profession; a historic study on the ways of receiving new professors in secondary schools" developed in the National University of General Sarmiento and the topic of the Doctoral thesis in Education carried out in the National University of Entre Rios. Understanding this process opens up the possibility of knowing more about what happens in this work-related socialization process of the entering the profession in which there is place for the fundamental instance of the teaching training of conversion/transformation of a person to a teacher. The problem in that there are new institutional conditions that cause us to consider that these initial performances can not continue to be thought of in the same way. In that sense, it is probable that, in formative terms, the intensity of the initial performances, are not the same and that this could reverse the initial training; which if that were the case, further questions would have to be taken into account.
