Abstract

Highlights: [•] Vitexin and isovitexin are C-glycosylated derivatives of apigenin. [•] Isovitexin was found as the most potent inhibitor against AR, AGE, and ChEs. [•] Vitexin showed the most potent PTP1B inhibitory activity. [•] Apigenin rather than vitexin and isovitexin showed anti-inflammatory activity. [•] C-glycosylation of apigenin might relate to intensity of respective bioactivities. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
